First time Visitor. Staff was great! Explained the ordering Process. Food was good and service was excellent. Fun evening. Music was live and entertaining.

They make you order via QR code and through an app. The app is very hard to use (I’m 27 so don’t tell me I don’t know how to use tech) and the staff refuses to help. They repeatedly say “order though the app”. Food is fine but not worth the fight. This is the worst user experience I have had in a very long time.

Service is great! They do not offer the wine I love...Pinot Grigio Overall the Baja fish taco is the BEST hands down. Tried the shrimp, but had too much of a zesty tang. Salsa & chips were on point

Visited Bartaco for a business lunch, great location, great atmosphere in the restaurant and the tacos were fantastic. All the staff we interacted with were professional and knowledgeable about the menu choices.

The shrimp tacos are amazing- so are the steak tacos. Not to be missed are are the chips, salsa and guacamole! Plan to start with chips and signature cocktails!

The staff are always wonderful here. Professional, courteous and warm. The food is great too! We love going to this place.

Ordered food online. Everything was there and it was very good. The pork belly tacos were so delicious, so was the duck and shrimp tacos.

Had a great time visiting with friends and talking some business. It wasn't a quiet room per se for conversation, but not overly loud either. I liked the atmosphere a lot. The drink service was a little slow, but they made up for it and bought us a round!

My coworker kept telling me about this restaurant. I am so glad I finally went this weekend. I took my brother here while he was in town from LA. My brother ordered chicken tacos and I order a shrimp, a fish, and a veggie tamale. Sooooo yummy! Then I ordered some guacamole....YESSS! All the food was good. The service was great and the environment was classy and down to earth. LOVE IT and I will be going back ...soon!

Very nice atmosphere for a "mexican tapas style" restaurant. Excellent Margarita. Tacos, snacks, and more.

I was really disappointed with this concept. The tacos are ok but are as small as the palm of a grown mans hand. Two bites max. The margarita was from fresh ingredients but not exceptional. Just not what I expect for the prices you pay.

BarTaco is a really fun place with a great patio. Expect a decent wait (maybe 45mins to an hour on the weekends) but it was so worth it! I don't think they take reservations but you link your phone number to the seating queue so you can watch your progress and get a sense of the wait time. There is a bar with slightly pricey, but fresh cocktails (not made with a mix) and plenty of space outside while you wait. In the winter they have heatlamps and a big fire place so you can still be outside, but I can't wait to try it in the summer. As for the food, everything is a la carte so you just order tacos, or salads, or sides. My favorite dish was the grilled corn with lime, cayenne and cojita cheese.

This is a gem of a taco restaurant. The selection of tacos is great. Pick what you want, and service is quick. Not large tacos, but this restaurant works for quality over size. Revive is quick and setup so you can keep ordering tacos to your hearts content. Fish, Pork and Chorizo tacos are outstanding. Nice chili sauces to spice tacos to your desired heat. Give BarTaco a try. Nice leisurely meal for a Sunday brunch.

Valet parking, fresh food with a coastal vibe, ahhh-mazing margaritas and the manager, Bryan Beacham made the experience terrific overall. How refreshing!

Had the duck and a shrimp Bahn mi taco, followed by key lime pie. A great meal and the atmosphere is lively. A place to go if in Atlanta. The cocktails are made with fresh squeezed juices.

I revisited Bartaco today and I must say, I'm glad I did. I provided my server a copy of the correspondence from their General Manager Cliff, in response to my review of my experience in January and to say I was "well taken care of" is an understatement. The food (like always) was super fresh. The drinks cold and potent. And the service- impeccable. To be quite honest, I also visited in February and in March and all 3 experiences were very different from my first.... In a very good way. The Baja fish taco is my fav and the guac is a must. I also would like to note that the valet guys are super cool and friendly as well. Two thumbs up.

The food was pretty good nothing to ride home about but the layout of the place with the open air feel and fresh cocktails completely makes up for the food! Go here and bring some friends, so fun!

This is, indeed, a good find. We started with guacamole and salsa verde w/chips, and both were delicious (curiously, the guacamole looked like just smashed-up avocado, no onions or other stuff visible, but it was quite tasty). We also had the grilled corn w/lime and queso fresco, also delicious. The taco choices were very intriguing, and all were satisfying, except the felafel, which was disappointing. The curry shrimp had a spicy kick to it. Very interesting menu, very good food, and a lively, pleasant atmosphere.

Three of us shared a platter and had plenty to eat. The tacos are delicious and the sides are wonderful too. We had no wait at all at lunch and the service was great. Our daughter loved it so much here that she had eaten here the night before and then brought us the next day !! I call that a great recommendation.

I was visiting from CA and Bar Taco was recommended to me from our airbnb host. We went there and were at first shocked by the menu. Having grown up eating lots of traditional Mexican food I was very skeptical. I ended up ordering 3 different tacos and a margarita. Wow, I am so glad I stayed and gave it a chance. The food was amazing and the margarita was strong but with great flavor. Obviously by someone who knew what they were doing. I strongly recommend this place particularly if you are looking for healthier food than traditional Mexican fare.

Definitely the 20's-30's beautiful people crowd. We sampled several different tacos...baja fish, chorizo, chicken. Chipotle slaw - Chips and salsa - Gelatos were amazing! Pineapple, coconut, mint chip and vanilla... margaritas were great too! Hip little place great decor. Baskets and dough bowl repurposed lighting. Glass garage door opens to outdoor seating, fireplace outdoors. Service was really good. Friendly staff, very helpful and good at what they do. Great find in the industrial district. Super cool experience for group of friends.

First time at Bartaco. What a great night. Lee made sure that every detail of our evening was perfect. We loved the oyster and ribeye tacos. The margaritas were the best. We will surely be back soon.

We decided to try Bartaco based on recommendations. We called ahead to secure a reservation and be added to the waitlist, which worked well. We grabbed margaritas at the bar while we waited for our table. BTW parking is across the street or down the street (valet parking wasn’t available). What got very confusing was the menu and ordering online. Not only was it’s confusing BUT our orders were all wrong and it took awhile for the staff to figure out who ordered what etc. The tacos are small, the rice bowls were tasty but not filling. Our dining experience overall was mediocre at best. I’m not sure if we will return.

Had business lunch. Service was wonderfully attentive and the atmosphere was lively (great with friends, difficult to talk business). The pork belly tacos were incredible, with nice crunch on outside, served with pickled onion and cilantro (perfect!). Careful, though. The $3 tacos are small and when you consider 3-4, plus a side and a beverage ... it's easy to run up the bill. Pork belly rice bowl looked to be a better value. Free valet was great, as parking in the area can be a pain.

We stopped by one evening with friends to have a great meal, and was blown away. The environment is very upbeat and the service is excellent ! The drink choices are immense, and the food is the icing on the cake! Great even portions laced with a perfect price point aid in the experience. We had 3 or 4 varieties of the tacos, and will definitely be back! You also get a "taco ticket" that will be redeemable for 1 taco on your next visit! I highly recommend this place anytime your in Atlanta!

Bartaco has the best guacamole, drinks and tacos. Don't miss the fries oyster taco! Vegetarians have a delicious selection. The cocktails are craft and perfection.

Went here tonight with my fiancé and another couple. Everything we had was excellent and we nearly had one of everything on the menu. Everything is fresh and fairly light for taco spot. Outdoor atmosphere is great, you forget you are in the city. Both my fiancé and I agree that this is our new favorite spot in ATL.

Every time we find ourselves on the Georgia Tech campus for a football game or swim meet we always walk to Bartaco. We love the variety and the family serving style. Everyone in the group can have a taste. We've enjoyed everything we've ordered. The atmosphere is original and uplifting and the crowd always seems to have that energy you can only find on a college campus.

We went here before a Hawks game and it was perfect. The guacamole is great and I love the grilled corn in the cob ( which you can ask them to cut off if you want!) It is nice enough to not be fast food, but quick enough to not take hours.

Love this place, and their food. Their style of service is perfect. I've never had a bad meal here, and this trip was no exception.

Met friends for early dinner on the back patio. Mario took great care of us, his suggestions were excellent! Please try the hamachi ceviche and pork belly tacos. You won't be sorry. The chips and guacamole are top notch. To wash it down on a sunny spring day their fresh made cocktail Seasonal Caipirinha is my suggestion!

Wow! I am not sure how to describe the food and meal at Bartaco except to say that it is an exceptionally well crafted dining experience. If you want simple fresh food prepared well then you must try Bartaco. It is different in all the right ways. The drinks, salads and the tacos in any of the options provided will please your palate and your hunger. The pictures on the Bartaco website match exactly what your food will look like. Friendly service is another reward of dining at Bartaco.

Last night my wife and I went to Bartaco Midtown with four friends for dinner. This was the first time I had been to Bartaco. It will also be my last. The service was absolutely terrible! On two separate occasions our drink orders took about thirty minutes. We had to run staff down and ask what was taking so long. That was surprising because they did not look that busy. When one drink order finally arrived we told, who I believe was the manager, we did not receive a beer that had been ordered. Their response was “I’ll take care of it myself - right now”. We never saw the individual again. When we were able to get our server’s attention we asked where is the beer that had been ordered. He responded “you want a third beer”? We told him “No, we are waiting for number two”. I felt we were certainly being treated like “Number Two”. We placed an order for appetizers order that took over thirty minutes. The appetizer order was placed before making our dinner selections. Dinner was being served when the appetizers had not yet arrived. At best I would describe the food and drinks as being just okay. Nothing in the evenings experience would ever want me to return. In fairness to my review I must add I was pleasantly surprised by the indoor and outdoor seating choices. We chose to sit outdoors in a quiet area protected by an overhead canopy. The outdoor surroundings were very nice. For those of you who are looking to try a new restaurant my suggestion would be to look elsewhere.

No surprise that this great concept is winning hearts and minds all over Atlanta - I have eaten here at the Westside and the newly opened Buckhead outlet - and I am impressed by this bright, curated concept - where the look and feel of the restaurant, the great service and the offer all combine to form a great, fun experience. I like the garden, courtyard, chimera (and no TVs), photo montage, at each location. Yes, I feel like I could be at Zihuatanejo - which is the magic of thoughtful, well-executed restaurant design. A bright and successful concept, with an energetic service-orientated team. Ariba Bartaco!

A fun, eclectic place to eat! We sat outside and enjoyed our meal since it was a nice night. We had a difficult time choosing because of the unique options! They used fresh ingredients to create delicious layers of flavors in their salsas and sauces. We chose Miso Cod and Baha fish tacos and enjoyed a “party in our mouths!”

The casual interior of Bartaco reminded of some of the beach restaurants I've been to in California. It has a nice atmosphere for dining and drinking. The emphasis here as you my expect, is tacos. The menu offers a small selection priced between $2.50 and $3.50. There small, but three was plenty for me. The tacos arrive on a metal pan. Three different sauces were available to put on the tacos. Of the three I had, the Pastor, marinated pork and the Bahn Mi, shrimp were my favorites. The Ribeye was just OK. Probably wouldn't get that one again. Service was friendly and attentive. Bartaco sets a good bar for tasty tacos.

This is the first resturant review I have ever sat down to write online. That being said, bartaco in West Midtown was one of the most delicious, disappointing, and frustrating resturant experiences I have had in Atlanta to this date. Here are my thoughts: 1st Experience: I went to dine at bartaco by myself on a whim, so I proceeded to grab a seat at the bar. My first impressions of the expansive, open-aired dining room space intrigued me. Same goes for the eclectic wall art and hip music. I thought I was in for a memorable experience, a new favorite regular spot. It started to take a turn for the worst from that point on. I waited patiently in my bar seat for about 12 minutes and tried to make eye contact with one of the bartenders, most of whom were busy stocking underbar fridges or making cocktails for other guests ( I came later at night, so I'm sure they were trying to complete their closing tasks). I finally caught one of the bartenders attention and ordered a Findencio, neat. My drink was given to me very soon after that. Another 10 minutes rolled by ( almost 22 minutes now since I sat at the bar) and I was eager to order something to eat. I was finally informed that I had to check off my food choices on an order card, which I had not known up until that point. I had ordered an assortment of tacos ( Glazed Pork Belly, Crispy Rock Shrimp, Cauliflower, Baja Fish), as well as the Ceviche. My second disappointment of the night was when my food came out of order ( I had ordered the Ceviche as a first course), as well as AFTER three other bar guests, who had ordered after me. The tacos were delicious, well seasoned, and full of flavor, the pork belly being my favorite. The ceviche was classic with a great balance of acidity and salt. After thoroughly enjoying my food, I was ready for the bill, which was presented to me correctly, but something was off. The Findencio that I had ordered was $24 for the pour. When I asked the bartender why this was, they responded with " yah our Findencio is expensive" and walked away. From 10 feet away, the bottle looked exactly like Findencio Classico, but it turns out it was Findencio Pachuca. I was very annoyed that, since this was the only Findencio they had, they didn't inform me how MUCH more expensive it is than its classic mezcal counterpart, with has almost the exact same label. I did order in after all, so I paid my bill and left, desiring more from the overall experience. 2nd Experience: I decided to give bartaco another shot last Friday with one of my friends. I went into it with a positive mind and wiped the slate clean from what happened previously. We sat at the bar again and since Since I was initiated with the ordering process, I figured we would order our food right away. I was sadly mistaken. I took almost 10 minutes for a bartender to acknowledge us. Once again, we had waited almost 18 minutes for our drinks to arrive after that. Mind you, it was 10:30pm and the bar was hardly at full capacity. We ordered a bunch of tacos once again, as well as the salsa verde'. The salsa verde was delicious and extremely fresh and vegetal. The accompanying fried tortillas were warm and the salt was fine enough to cling to every bite. I was ready to order another drink, just a Modelo Especial with lime. After waiting around 10 minutes, my Modelo was nowhere in site. The first bartender had forgotten about it. I ordered it from another bartender, which took another 5 minutes or so. 15 minutes for a bottled beer with lime? No thank you. After our meal, had asked the bartender to split our check. She returned the check to us with the full amount already processed to the one card on file. I want to like bartaco, I really do. The food and the non-pretentious atmosphere might bring me back for one more try, but the customer service will surely not. I'm a resturant manager in Downtown Atlanta and creating guest connections is my career. You go to a resturant originally for the food, but return for how the staff makes you feel. I feel that bartaco fell shy of the mark.

Saw on Atlanta Eats tv show. Beyond expectations. Fresh juice squeezed for amazing signature cocktails. Ingredients and dishes are as fresh as they are pretty to look at. Server Zach and mgr Chris are on point. Parking deck free, just by restaurant. Free valet also available. Outdoor seating but behind the main front, instead of streetside so no street traffic fumes or noise to spoil your experience. Cannot wait to return. GF options galore. A new fav spot.

Great meal both times I have been here. The duck tacos are amazing and the caiprinhas are different bit really good! A great choice to come after work, before a night on the town or make it a night here.

This is basically a high end street taco place with awesome but expensive drinks. In my opinion the best tasting meal on the menu is the pork belly bowl. The tacos are tiny and expensive for what you get, but the bowls are a reasonable price for what you get. I really didn't like the shrimp taco at all and the chicken taco was OK.

Apparently there are Bartacos all over the country-- didn't know that when we went. However, if it is a chain, it's still pretty good. Our server explained the size of the tacos, how ordering goes, etc. One taco is a few bites, so we each got 3 tacos. They were out of the fried oyster I wanted and the curry shrimp my friend wanted, so we subbed in 2 different kinds instead. Everyone raves about the duck, but we thought it was just ok. Her favorite was the pork belly, and mine was the special of the day, the grilled mahi mahi. The star of the show to me, however, was the Mexican corn, or elotes. Sometimes that's slathered in so much mayo and sauce that you can't taste anything else. This dish was SO good that I ordered a second helping. My eyes were bigger than my stomach, so I took most of the second serving home. The corn is crisp, there's just enough tangy cheese to make it a little creamy but not overwhelming, and the cayenne gives it a good kick. A sensational dish. I'd go back just for that corn!! Cocktails are creative and tasty. I had a mezcal cocktail with a spiced pepper rim-- Humo Y Fuego. Very good! The timing of service was a bit weird, but everyone there was friendly, accommodating, and helpful.

First visit to Bartaco with a group of girls! Great dinner...great drinks...great atmosphere! We sat outside! Service was okay...started out wonderful but as the night slowed so did our server. Tacos were awesome! The curry shrimp was my favorite!!! Cucumbers salad, chop salad and the roasted corn were excellent sides. Dessert was great! Would highly recommend it!

This restaurant has some cute decor going on! They have a unique way of ordering (think sushi bar style) And the food is brought out all together. We ordered the large guacamole- it was just ok - almost tasted like it had been sitting for a while- definitely not the "Fresh" taste I was thinking it would have. Our group ordered about 15 tacos for 4 of us. Our favorites were the Pork Belly Tacos, Duck tacos, and the grilled Mahi Mahi.

I only have two taco places I truly believe to be the best in its options and ingenuity and flavor. One is in Denver, the other is here. I've had great tacos but most don't leave me dreaming of eating more and salivating from memories. We stopped here for dinner before driving home & I was a bit chilly. Staff courteously placed me next to the huge heaters outside and offered me a comfortable and warm blanket. No one enjoys food if shivering from the cold! We had pork belly; Yucatan redfish; Baja fish; candied rock shrimp; duck and two others I can't remember. The pork belly was the juiciest, most tender and flavorful taco I've had. The candied shrimp was just the right amount of sweet with still tasting fresh. The Yucatan redfish wasn't super fishy and also was fresh/light. While we didn't have any cocktails, their drink menu was tempting. My only complaint was parking. The place had about 5 parking spots and valet. We parked a few blocks away and walked over which after traveling all day I wasn't thrilled about. However, one bite of that first taco made it worth it. I'm also not a city girl so lack of parking doesn't make sense to me. The place itself was wonderful and we'll definitely be back! Maybe when we come down in April!

Very nice place, tacos are tasty and well balanced. Super good tuna poke. Really liked food and atmosphere.

My friend and I visited Bartaco last night and loved it. The food was amazing. Our waitress was fabulous. I would recommend going if your in this area. The atmosphere was fun and energetic.

Last month my husband and I visited BarTaco in Westside Midtown. It was raining heavily when we arrive and no matter, the place was packed. We were only intending to have drinks this evening and found ourselves pleasantly surprised when there was an order mistake and we were given an order of chips and guacamole that was excellent! The drinks were fresh, well made, the bartenders were personable and attentive, and the unintended food really hit the spot. We look forward to going back for the food and drinks in the near future.

This place is a must for taco and tequila lovers. The atmosphere here is so laid back. You walk in and are transported to your families west Caribbean beach home. Ordering is all handled via QR codes but don’t think that your service will suffer. Wait staff and management are very attentive and provide amazing service. Food comes out quick and delicious. We tried a lot but the stars our lunch were the duck tacos, duck barria and consume, pork belly tacos and THE DRINKS! The bartender Kay is beautiful, personable, and crafts and amazing cocktail with depth and complexity while still being bright and light. If your in the neighborhood don’t skip this place! Good job Chris and Darrell keep doing what you!

Went to Bartaco on a whim while spending my birthday in Atlanta. My friends and I were looking for a local spot with tasty food to start our day of adventure out strong. We found this restaurant online and decided to go for it. Upon arriving, just by the atmosphere and the friendliness of the employees, we knew we were going to love it. The wait staff is so friendly and willing to answer any questions (which we had many). The tacos are small but I ordered 3 and was pretty full. The margaritas are great and come in a variety of flavors (pineapple and pear were among our favorite) and they have a fully stocked bar. All of the juice for the drinks are hand-squeezed, like you can literally watch them juicing the fruits. This place has outdoor seating which would be so much fun during the summer. Bartaco is amazing all around and I'm looking forward to when I'll be able to go back. And yes, I got free churros. If it's your birthday you can choose among any of their available desserts, and churros sounded the best to me - and they were! 20/10 would recommend Bartaco!

Went with 10 other fellow business partners and we all LOVED it. Guac was great! The tacos are all small so you can easily order 4-5 and get to try different things. All of us agreed that we would be going back here.

Very cool ordering system and great food. The portions are small but also priced accordingly. We would definitely go back.

Loved the whole experience at Bartaco. Great vibe and it was pretty busy right after we got there on a Sat night. Excellent food and drinks and our server was great. The pork tacos are amazing.

I don't like anyone's guacamole. However, this is the 1st !! Oyster tacos r greeaatt to!! And drinks were awesome!

Yeah, it's that tasty. I could have ordered an entire bowl of the guacamole for myself. Be sure to start off with a hand-crafted cocktail, naturally I went with the Margarita - no regrets! We sat on that adorable patio and sampled a slew of tacos, every one of them delicious - picking a favorite isn't possible!

We took a $10 cab ride from our downtown (peachtree center hotel) to Bartaco on the recommendation of a friend. It was amazing!! The vibe, the outdoor soft seating, the menu and just the overall atmosphere was great! The food was outstanding! Not a huge menu but everything was fresh and made to order! We ordered 2 separate times since we wanted MORE tacos after our first round. We tried the sesame beef and the chicken tacos - amazing! We also got an order of guac which was made fresh and delicious!

This is such a cute restaurant! Sit outside during a warm evening to get the full ambiance! It is set up with benches and cute tables outside with hanging lights and a fireplace. You order by writing what you want on a piece of paper and putting it on the stand for the waiter to take. This place is expensive so if you go for a date, get a platter, you get salsa or guacamole, 6 tacos and a couple sides. The house margaritas are yummy but are about $9.50 a piece, but that's because they use high quality tequila. Their churros are also worth it if you split it by 2 people. Overall great experience, definitely will be going back!

I love This plan. There is valet out front of the place you can use your card to pay with. The plantains are always yummy and so are the margs, chips and guacamole. The Baja fish is my favorite with a little life! Each time I’m in Atlanta, I eat Here!

Great atmosphere, delicious, DELICIOUS tacos. We got a box of tacos to go - a sampler of sorts with two tamales. I wish we could have dined in.

We visited this place for lunch while in Atlanta on business. The atmosphere was really neat and the decorations were beautiful. We ordered a appetizer of salsa verde and chips and it is by far the best salsa I have ever tasted! I ordered the lunch taco tray which came with 3 tacos and a chopped salad. The salad was tangy and fresh with unusual but delicious flavor. I had the 2 chicken tacos and a falafel taco as the main coarse. Both kinds were good but they were a little to spicy for my taste (but I can't handle any spice haha). Overall, this is a great new find!

Incredible menu of small plates. Great plantains, street corn, the rice bowls are fantastic, and all reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

I love being able to order small tacos with varying ingredients in each! Each was delicious and you will have a hard time which is the best.

Delicious sangria! Very refreshing and not super sweet. Guacamole is awesome but a little spicy, just FYI. The chorizo tacos and rice were wonderful! Cool atmosphere and different from any Mexican place I've ever been.

I love tapas. Only in Atlanta can you find such a great place with awesome food wandering in off the street. The service was amazing. Mario went out of his way to set us up outside in the sunshine with the heaters. Everything we tried was delicious. Favorites: spicy corn salad, sesame ribeye, pork belly. Highly recommend. I'm heading to Hartford and I will be stopping at that one when I'm there.

The tacos are delicious, but small portions. Margaritas are good, but small portion as well. Great patio to relax on.

Very busy establishment due to a good variety of tasty tacos and non tacos. Everyone in your group orders their own on a sheet and a server will come by to pick them up. Tacos are not large by any means so an average person needs to order 3-5 tacos. I had the duck, miso cod and pork belly which were all tasty.

Food is awesome! Great! Salsa verde was tasty. Pork belly bowl was beyond fab. Only 2 reasons why I couldn’t give it 5 stars. First is that the drinks are great but small for the price. Not too big of a deal. Second is that it was absolutely freezing at our table. The fan was blowing so hard, the shade on the light fixture was moving continuously. Straw paper flying off the table. The host was very nice, apologetic and tried to accommodate us. The manager told me that he could only “back it down a bit”. Why? Not sure. No reason offered. One of the food deliverers told us that the table where we were seated was always freezing. Quickly asked for to go containers & got out of there. So, bring a jacket & some paperweights if you’re seated near kitchen, away from back door. I’ll be back - with cold weather gear and hoping for a more sensitive manager.

Second time here and was not impressed with the food or service. Took forever for our meals (though my son's meal came out well before ours came and he was done by the time we started). Water was left unfilled for most of meal and I won't even tell you how long it take for the check to come. Second and last time in this joint. Nice spot for drinks only. ✌🏾

Terrific food with an even more awesome server. Molly our waitress took excellent care. We will be back whenever she can wait on us. Love those pork belly tacos!

I had heard good things about this place and I was not disappointed. We started out with margaritas, which were very good and strong. Next, we had some chips and guacamole, which was excellent. Then, we started ordering the tacos from the menu. They are smaller tacos, so you have to order several different ones. Our favorite ones were the baja fish, falafel and pork belly. It has a very coo and relaxed atmosphere. I would recommend this place for small gathering with friends. The tacos are not expensive, but the drinks were a bit pricy. Overall, it was a great experience all around and I definitely plan on making another visit, soon.

Food was fine. The app is awful and very little guidance from the staff. The whole ordering and payment was such a headache it spoiled the whole experience unfortunately. I train on educational software so I am familiar with technology. If the app improves the experience would. The menu button should be easily accessible on every webpage. Food was good. We had the duck rice bowl. Tacos were good but tiny. Margaritas good and were Definitely needed to navigate the app lol.

I had heard great things about this restaurant and came with a large group on a Monday night. I was very impressed with the atmosphere of the restaurant - very trendy and relaxing. They have an indoor/outdoor space with lots of cushioned seats and even a retractable roof outside. However, as an industrial engineering major, the inefficiency and disorganization drove me nuts! They have you write your order down on a slip of paper and then give it to the waitress. They warned us ahead of time that the tacos come out "family style," but I didn't realize how chaotic and stupid that system would be. (They passed out the slips again right before our food came and collected them again before they could bring us our checks which seemed terribly inefficient). When they brought the tacos out, it was about four on a plate and it wasn't organized by person at all. They told us when they brought them out what each taco was, but then we had to figure out who is belonged to and pass the plate around for everyone to grab a taco off of. They could have made it slightly easier by organizing the plates by taco, for instance, having four chicken tacos on one plate. They ended up forgetting three of our tacos so clearly they were also getting confused in the kitchen about which ones they had brought out. When we reminded our waitress, she was able to promptly bring out the tacos we were missing, and when she brought us our checks, she said her manager took my order off because a few were late. That was very nice, but also didn't make sense since only one of my tacos was late and two other peoples' were. In terms of the food, the roasted duck taco was AMAZING. I wish I ordered all of that kind versus one of that kind and a few others. However, the portion sizes are tiny. The prices are $2.50 for a normal taco and $3.50 for a special taco, which doesn't sound that bad, but it adds up. Our table got three guacamoles (we had about 12 people in all) but it was a pretty pitiful "large" guacamole for $9. The tacos are about 3 bites each, and I got 3 tacos but left still feeling hungry. I feel like this restaurant has so much going for it with a great atmosphere and tasty food. I think an overhaul of their ordering system could really help them. It seems super weird for a restaurant to have people order individually on a slip of paper and then choose to bring their food out all mixed up. The high prices for small portions and chaos of ordering makes me not want to go back despite enjoying my food and the atmosphere there.

My friends and I visit Bar Taco regularly. We love it! The lunch special is great, and if you fill out the survey you get with your bill, you get a free taco next time!

Went for lunch. It was not crowded. Ordered starters and drinks. Server brought three of four drinks and had to wait for a good while for fourth persons drink which was iced tea. Placed our main order. Starters served and were ok. Two of the three meals ordered arrived. We waited for other meal and waited and waited. Finally someone noticed that I was trying to get attention. I said we had not received one persons meal And was told that he would see about it. Finally our server appeared and said he would check in the kitchen. Another long wait - we were preparing to find someone to pay for the part of the order we had received and leave. Server appeared again and said they were plating the order(part of the order was soup-how much plating does that take?). I said we were leaving . We paid for what we had received and left . The server acted as if he was doing us a favor in not charging for the meal we did not receive. Would not recommend .

Very interesting taco place - not your typical, which may disappoint some and excite others. Drinks are great. You check off your order on a menu sheet and they bring it to you in what they call family style. In other words all on one plate and you distribute them out. A little messy and actually more than a bit tacky. Almost like they couldn't be bothered to figure out an order. Everything seemed kind of scaled back to make things easy for them and less easy for you. Enough whining. Best guacamole! However the waitress didn't ask us which size we wanted and just brought us the more expensive. The corn was amazing, but easier to eat if you order it off the cob - on the cob is super messy. The tacos are very small - about 4 bites each, which was wonderful so you could try more than a couple. The night we were there the special was a grilled lobster that was super noteworthy! The duck taco is delish, but seriously pass on the fish. Not only was the slaw that they had on to accompany it maybe the most boring addition to a fish taco ever, but the fish was dry. I actually would say the tacos are hit and miss, but if you find the right ones you will win. We asked the waitress, Amy, about the churros - should we order one or two. She said there were three per order and we should probably get two so we could each have two. She made it seem like they were small and you would want two. NOT. They are huge and one would easily be enough for anyone just finishing dinner. The churros were very nice. Crisp on the outside, but a little too doughy on the inside. Chocolate that went with it was fantastic. We left there feeling as if she was arbitrarily pumping up our bill. So between the large guacamole and double order of churros, she was not making any friends at our table. Let alone she didn't bring us extra chips and we had to ask three times for the check. In conclusion, I would go back, but would better know how to order.

Went for lunch yesterday with hubby, kids n cousin. Ordered three rice bowls(shrimp, sesame beef and duck), tacos( oyster, portobello, duck and beef) and the grilled corn. For starters we had chips with guacamole n salsa verde. Everything was very fresh and delicious but the sesame beef rice bowl, portobello taco and grilled corn were exceptionally good.

We had lunch this afternoon at Bar Taco. We ate at bar and the bar tenders had no interest in being there. They looked straight through us. Never a smile, simply a bored slightly annoyed look. Service was slow, unfriendly and simply made us uncomfortable. As the manager was unfriendly as we walked in, we did not bother complaining. The food was not bad, and the drinks were actually good, but not worth enduring the treatment we received. We will definitely never be back here.

It was ok. The food is good but the portions are small (so don't go if you are hungry unless you plan to order a lot). Not in any hurry but would go again.

Great selection of tacos here, the sesame ribeye was amazing! Mint lemonade paired well with the meal as well. The star of the show was the salsa, one of the best out there!

I came her on the recommendation of a friend. From the front, it looks non description but once you turn the corner, a scene out of the Hampton's greats you. I had on jeans and a Polo shirt and felt under dressed. Once I was seated, the server explained the concept to me: there is a sheet you use to check off what you want and the quantity. Pretty simple and easy. She also advised that as the menus was Tapas style, 3 tacos would be best to start with. I took her advise and got the Baja fish, oyster and falafel with a side of corn. My favourite was the falafel. While it was not as crispy as I would normally like, the flavour and spicy sauce were delicious. The oyster was decent but I would never order the Baja fish again. It was the only taco that made me reach for the table sauces. I typically enjoy my corn plain so the Lime, cayenne and cotija were simply a bonus for me. Overall, I had a nice experience; the server was attentive and the food was good. I would definitely come back.

My friends and I met for lunch here and had a fantastic experience. The restaurant has a terrific, casual atmosphere and the menu has something for everyone (lots of vegetarian and vegan options). All of their food is served "family style" and we ordered a selection of dishes to share. The tacos are really good with lots of interesting flavors and spices - my favorites were the sesame ribeye and the fish tacos. We also loved their spicy cucumber salad, black bean salad, and grilled corn. Great, fresh flavors and perfectly prepared. This is a great spot for a group or for happy hour and there's really nice outdoor seating. I felt like it was a great value for the quality of food - tacos were $2.50 or $3.50 each and were a nice size, and salads ran around $5 each. Our waitress was really friendly and helpful too. You can't go wrong here!

I love coming here because the atmosphere is electric. I love the drinks and the bartenders are wonderful. I've been coming here since they've opened. About twice a month. If not more. I don't really come for dinner because I feel the portions are small for the price. But I do like your guacamole.

My adult children & I had lunch Sunday at Bartaco in Midtown and were able to side outside on the AWESOME patio. The food was great, the drinks were wonderful (see my suggestions), and the service was spot on. If you order a cocktail, expect a bit of a wait - they handcraft them, but it is well worth the short wait. I heard they change the menu often to serve the most fresh seasonal ingredients, so I look forward to going again.

SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE! It took them forever to make our drinks. The food came out all at different times. My dad was the last to get his food. The waitress never explained how the menu and ordering worked. I wrote a Yelp review and the manager told me to contact him. I did and he NEVER responded. We will NEVER be back.

We had the $11 lunch with choice of three tacos and we had gazpacho as the side. Tiny but tasty little tacos. Busy Friday, service was fine, food very slow coming out. Valet just started using an app where you request your car 10 minutes before leaving. A bit odd, we did it, they never got the message... said it was new and still has bugs.

Nice place in Midtown Atlanta, we shared some taco samplers and two servings of guacamole. Servers were very friendly and helpful. Most of the restaurant is covered with a lot of open air area. We were there at lunchtime, the place was busy but the level of service was maintained. Great margaritas and good food. get the Guacamole.......I am sure the company helped, but I really had the feel of being in Key West while we were there. I recommend you visit

The food was amazing. The atmosphere is beautiful. The prices are economical. I just did not appreciate the service I was given. The place wan't busy yet it still took a long time for someone to come and take our order. After they dropped our food off they never came back to see if we needed anything else. We finally had to ask a busboy if he could go find our server so we could just pay and leave. Besides that lack of customer service, everything else was great.

When Bar Taco originally opened in Atlanta, we dined at the West End location in Atlanta and liked it. However, on our recent visit to the Bar Taco on Roswell Road on 8/29/22, we had a negative experience and I don’t recommend it. 1) Arrived at 5:00 pm to dine on the patio and the patio was covered in leaves. I recommend that the area be blown with a leaf blower daily 2) To order they require that you use the QR code- this is ok, but I don’t like that they require that you provide your cell number. I get enough spam calls as it is 3)I selected a Mexican restaurant so that I could have a frozen margarita. Bar Taco doesn't have frozen margaritas and they don't give you free chips and salsa) Since they don't have frozen margaritas, I thought I would order draft beer but they didn’t have draft beer. 5) So as a last resort I ordered a glass of wine. I was disappointed that they serve their wine in high ball glasses rather than a wine glass 6)They brought all of our tacos on one tray rather than providing everyone their own tray with their order. As a result, a person at my table ate my chicken taco and I got stuck with their sausage taco. So being totally disappointed, we ate and paid what we ordered then drove up the road to get Mexican at Superica which was far superior.

Very interesting tacos...pork belly and sesame ribeye were my husband's favorites. I had the baja fish, and it was very tasty. Friends raved about the duck. No one was disappointed. We sat at the bar, and both our bartenders were very informative and fun as well. Will go back for sure.

We were barely settled in this light, attractive casual spot when our waiter arrived to explain the ordering process (you fill out the order form yourself) and the small size of the tacos. We ordered 3 appetizers for the 4 of us. The guacamole was excellent, as were the cerviche and tuna poke. The food came very quickly. Then our variety of tacos arrived and they were all very good. The only compliant I had was that it all felt a bit rushed.

First, but not last visit to Bartaco. Humble store front leads into a refrishing casual world of unique tacos, freashly squeezed bar juices, rice bowls (expect the unique ala carte menu).Gelato? Yep I'm hooked. Service is fantastic. The entire team tag teams the floor. Need something? Just place the dragonfly card up and a server/manager is at the table pronto. Go and have a great time

Little tacos and poor beer list. They didn't have the first 3 beers I asked for on their menu and only had cans and bottles. Poor selection. I would not go back.

Nestled in West Midtown, ATL#bartaco is THE place to grab lunch with friends/fam, gather for a small business meet, enjoy a date or have a delicious night/day out in the heart of beautiful ATL! With a laid back beach atmosphere and cozy seating, you will be treated with top quality customer service! The staff literally wear plaid flannels & chucks!! Did I mention the food is ahhhhhmazing??!...guys... their food is AMAZING!

We met my Brother In Law for the afternoon in Atlanta and decided on Bar taco after church let out. No beers on tap, but they had a good selection of bottled and canned brews. They apparently are know for their cocktails, but we aren't cocktail people. The verde salsa is very good and the taco selection is fresh and tasty. I loved the outdoor patio complete with heaters and blankets. All of the staff we encountered was friendly and helpful as well. We had three to four tacos each and a beer or two each and our total was $58 for a group of three. We will be back for more next time we are in Atlanta.

As a vegetarian I found the roasted cauliflower meals to be delicious. I'm not very fond of spices and I found the dishes to be a little warm for me and all of the sauces to be too spicy for me. My daughter was not as thrilled as I because she likes more traditional Mexican I think. While the food was good it was not cheap.

Going felt like an experience. The service was great! Drinks was strong and food was yummy. The 3 of us ordered everything and the tacos drinks conversation was great. We ordered tamales that were under-cooked and everyone did everything to make it right. The replacement food and of course no charge made it a non incident. I would go back in a heartbeat!

We saw this place on "Atlanta Eats" ...and finally got a chance to check it out. So glad we did ! Write your order on the piece of paper they provide and the server will pick it up. Start with guacamole and chips. Baja fish tacos were AMAZING ! Tacos are small in size...so order plenty. Key Lime pie in a jar for dessert. WOW ! Great atmosphere. Great service. They have valet parking if you can't find a spot nearby. Did not get to order one of their hand-crafted drinks...but I will next time !!!

Tacos are very small but 2.5-3.5$ each. It was nice to be able try several different kinds. The falafel was good, the tuna would be better is the soy/glaze type of sauce isn’t heavy (try on side). The street corn fritters are really salty & mostly fried cheese. Seems like Lime juice is heavily used on most dishes which can feel “overused” after a point. Tables were sticky, but the vibe is causal so....All in all, It’s average.

This was the first of the 3 BarTacos in Atlanta. Tacos haven't been the same to me since I've been here, in a good way. Ribeye ribeye ribeye! That's all I can say, the way they put that sauce/marinade on that meat, omg. Highly recommend any of the fish tacos. Not a fan of the chicken. And the pork belly is great too. Valet only options, don't park on any buildings nearby you will get booted. Learned firsthand. Valet is a little slow but not sure where they park the cars so that may have a lot to do with it. Mojitos are great and the margaritas. I suggest either this location (which is a little tight in regards to space) or Roswell (Chastain park area). The Highlands location is still working out the kinks. Great chain so far, hope they keep up the quality.

That chicken was the best I've ever eaten. It's as simple as that. Like you, I've eaten a lot of chicken. I've eaten some pretty expensive chicken too. This one was better than all those other chickens. And it costs under $10 for a half bird. The mix of spices is absolutely decadent. The sauces are very tasty as well. I would complain about the up-charge for the tortillas, but the chicken is worth it. Just eat here. Just eat this. The manager was also very polite and friendly. She stopped by the table twice to check in. I wholeheartedly recommend Bartaco.

This is a hip , young local hangout with a great choice of Mexican style food..and even ice cream cones for deseert for 3$ the service is great......a huge indoor bar.....very very noisy, but thats the energy of this restaurant......Give it a try.....There is a unique taco menu and some excellent sidees...

We stumbled upon this spot, and we're so glad we went! It's got a really cool indoor/outdoor covered patio type atmosphere and a family sharing concept. The food came out quick and was delicious. I highly recommend the guacamole, limey spicy deliciousness. It's a great spot for hanging with friends.

My daughter and I driven by Bartaco numerous times and always said we should try it since it was often crowded. Finally decided to go for lunch yesterday and were pleasantly surprised. Nice atmosphere (much bigger inside than it looks from the street), good service, and delicious food especially for the price. We both loved the baja fish and spicy chorizo tacos; the guacamole was yummy as well. We didn't get drinks, but certainly will next time based on all the positive reviews I've read raving about their mojitos and margaritas. We will definitely eat at Bartaco again in the near future...gonna bring my hubby and son next time.

I googled best taco in my location and Bartaco came up! Google was correct! Food was so fresh! I could have eaten fried plantains all day! Tacos were amazing, guac was perfect and Mexican street corn divine!

After a long day at work, my husband and I popped by Bartaco. The food is amazing and the menu is very simplistic. We ordered the rotisserie chicken and the shrimp bowl. It was hot and delicious. The best part was the bartender making me a non alcoholic beverage that was spectacular. She even wrote the ingredients for my dinner party o Sunday! I will definitely be back!

The food was great. Loved the guacamole which I thought was a bit pricy. The West Midtown location is a cool place to hang out, but parking is a major pain. Plan on parking behind 5 Seasons Brewery and walking across the street. As is common with most of Midtown eateries, the decor was fun, and almost trendy hip, but way too crowded. Not a great place if you like your space. Taco menu was cool. Loved the Chicken and Spicy Chorizio. My roommate got the Curry Shrimp and Oyster tacos. One of my favorite sides was the Spicy Cucumber salad. It has a little bit of a kick to it. Good Food. No Parking and Noisy, but a great place nonetheless.

Great selection of taco's to chose from, order one or as many as you want of each taco that's how easy it is. Half chicken was ordered too, which was excellent. Spicey cucumber salad great! For as SUPER busy as it is the service was fantastic and the food was hot and excellent. The worker there were friendly and knowledgeable on all the items they have on the menu. Parking the car there would be minimal but would recommend and Uber ride there. Highly recommended to eat and enjoy the drinks there as you could spend hours there relaxing and eating. Congratulation to the management and servicers for the Super experience & Taco's!!!

I visited Bartaco recently and although the restaurant offered us each a free taco, redeemable during our next visit due to our unsatisfactory experience however, I still feel there is room for improvement with regard to service- We each ordered a fish taco, a soft drink, chips and salsa and a side of sliced avocado. After waiting for almost 20 minutes, both of our tacos came out but the side of avocado never arrived. I placed the "blue card" in the stainless holder, which is supposed to result in a staff member coming to the table immediately. It took almost 15 additional minutes for the chips and salsa to arrive while 2 waiters passed us without asking if we needed assistance. We discussed these issues with our waiter, he was kind and had great energy so it's wrong to say service was "bad" but we defiantly felt ignored. He explained that our first waitress had to leave and that was why he took over. He apologized and offered us each a token for a free taco. On a more positive note, the taco was delicious and for that reason, I'll give Bartaco another opportunity to get it right. People have bad days and I guess restaurants do too...

The decor of bar taco is wonderful. As soon as you walk in you disappear into a beach bar and can forget that you are in a big city. The drinks are good and the staff knowledgeable. We were surprised when our waiter told us that Bartaco is a "tapas taco restaurant." What he should have said was that the food portions are tiny and that they change extra for it. The food, while very tasty, was over priced for what it was. It's a cool place, but it's not worth it, especially on the Westside of Atlanta where you have so many wonderful options to choose from.

You place your order sushi-style by selecting the number of each item you want. The baja fish taco was delicious and I also enjoyed my tamale, but the craft cocktails were hit or miss. Fun, high-energy vibe on a weekend night. Good outdoor spaces.

Went on July 4th for pregame tapas style meal, coffee & churros. Excellent service, food, and great atmosphere!

Go to this place for work luncheon with friends or coworkers, and even for a date. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambience. I attended this restaurant with my best friend and her coworkers. The food was amazing and the drinks were delicious as well! I recommend the duck taco and for something more filling, the rice bowl (shrimp). Thank you Gigi and Amanda for the service! Excellent place!

So I was visiting Atlanta and this place was recommended by a friend. Note they have valet only. We get there and waited in our car for valet to come, we ended up getting out of our car and was asked "Are you valeting....." Interesting question for a place that does not allow self parking wouldn't you say. Brushing it off we give them the car but the realize there is no obvious entrance and ended up going the wrong direction to get inside. Finally greeted by the Hostesses and found our party. Sat down ordered drinks and food. While the food came out 45 Minutes later and it took 45 minutes to prepare our drinks, then had to ask seven times for water refills WATER!!! We asked three different servers and finally one just brought us a pitcher! At this point we were ready to leave and again had to as THREE different times for our checks. At this time we wanted to speak to a manager who never came to the table. Finally our checks arrived and we gave them the cards to charge and he disappeared for another 20 minutes!! Just to swipe and close out our bill! We called for the car and 15 more minutes till it arrived! $75.00 meal and the worst service! The thing that got it two bubbles was the food was excellent and the Hostess was very nice!

Just happened to walk in and give it a try. The drinks are great, had the sangria which was one of best I've had. Tacos are bite sized but very good. Will be back for sure

Have been a couple times, the service and food excellent. Loved the chorizo tacos. The mixed drinks are good too. We all ordered different things, due to the concept everyone could try other people selections. We definitely become a regular

I was visiting relatives in the area and this place was recommended. It is very family friendly. We came with my 20 month old grandson and they couldn't be more accommodating. Lots of other families as well but the place is very good for couples and friends. It has both outdoor and indoor dining and a big bar. Great to eat outside on a nice day. The food was very good. I enjoyed the tacos and I'd recommend having at least 3 for your meal (chicken, beef and shrimp were my favorites). One of the persons in our party had the half chicken. Excellent and if you are not a big eater, you will be taking some home. The margaritas were very good but a little pricey and the food is very reasonable. For first timers, you have a menu ordering card on the table. So chose the food for the group and place the order form in the stand on your table. Waiters will stop by and pick it up.

I absolutely love bartaco! First Tip:its always packed but call 30 mins ahead to hold your spot inline. The food is great! My favorite is the guac and the tacos. I actually enjoy all their food because its prepared with fresh ingredients and seasoned to perfection. I usually order the tray.I also love their drinks as they have fresh mixers vs. heavily syrupy juices. The Chef is friendly and visible! Now they do need improvement with the restrooms,They are nasty. One of my other highlights is the service, mostly everyone is friendly and are very knowledgable about the menu. Kevin is awesome 5 star customer service!

I frequent bar taco west midtown because it is simple, lively and inexpensive. The staff is always amazing and the menu is very simple. There is an indoor and outdoor option. Great for entertaining friends or family. Highly recommend if you Mexican drinks. Great value for your money.

I visited Bartaco in the summertime with four friends. The atmosphere is wonderful and the tacos are out of this world. Just enough kinds to try them all and find your favorite. The non-taco offerings were also on point. Everything is seasoned well, the pairings are unique, and the drinks are killer. I love the ordering system, as well, perfect for groups! The only downside here is the crowds. We arrived before the rush and were quickly seated. By the time we left, however, the place was packed with folks straight out of work who loudly crowded the bar and often got in the way of the waiters (they seemed to handle it well, to their credit). The crowds are absolutely worth it for the food, but be careful of timing!

Found this place on Yelp and we were in town for the day so we checked it out. We were seated right away and the staff was pleasant. The service was great, informative but not overdoing it and not hovering. The food was pretty good. I had the chorizo taco and it wasn't that great but everything else we had was delicious. Parking is a pain if you want to self park but they do have valet and it wasn't a long wait for us (around 2PM on a Friday). Definitely check this out if you can.

Great restaurant ! Ever since I went I have been craving their sesame ribeye taco! I shared the small tray with a friend and that is the best bang for your buck. It includes 6 tacos, 2 tamales, and 2 sides ! Really good ! Their patio is great and has a great beach feel inside and outside ! Will be back !

Not your everyday tacos here, folks. I'm talking sesame sirloin, duck, mahi mahi and MORE! Great staff, cool vibe, nice location close to lots of other cool stuff. Valet parking. Antoine, the manager, was very professional and friendly. Took time to come by our table and speak with us. Even gave us a scoop of chocolate gelato, which was delicious. Highly recommend.

First, the margaritas were excellent. Fresh and tasty. I believe these were the best margaritas I have ever had made in a bar! Seriously. The menu allows for ordering several smaller items and tasting and sharing. The empinatas were excellent. Tacos were very small, but tasty. Service was friendly and prompt. I will definitely visit again! Only valet parking is available, but it is not expensive.

The tacos were very good and definitely passed my Italian taste test. Cocktails were good and prices seemed reasonable to me, especially compared to the NYC ones. Good vibe and a nice mix of college people, young professionals and more senior people. I would definitely recommend it.

Have eaten here half a dozen times, including two days ago. Had two shrimp tacos and two cheese quesadillas. Very good ambiance. Bland food. Mediocre service. Wait staff hanging out together, not interested in customers. Tiny proportions and very overpriced for what you get. I wouldn't mind the price if the food was good.

Nice casual atmosphere with a much greater variety of tacos than one would suspect. 3 of us shared a large 9 taco platter that came with 3 sides for $38. We had 3 kinds - pork bellies, mushroom and oysters tacos . All were exellent. Service was also great. Margaritas nicely done also.

First time visiting. Me and a friend went early on a Sunday afternoon and dined out on the patio. Our waiter was very excited to tell us about the food and the process to place our order (food is served family style). We tried a variety of tacos along with chips and guacamole. Everything was really good! My most memorable experience was just how relaxing it was to sit out on the patio. It was like sitting in the backyard of someone's very nice home

Everything we had was wonderful. Tacos we tried were duck, mahi mahi, sesame ribeye, chicken, and of course the lobster. The elbows were flying for the lobster because no one wanted to share. The guacamole and spicy cucumbers to start and the half chicken stuck a fork in us. We were stuffed. Hit it up and enjoy the taco ride. You won't be disappointed.

The place has a tapas vibe .... small plates and tacos a la carte....with a cool outside terrace and a lounge kind of atmosphere complete with decent music and excellent drinks. We had house margaritas - shockingly good. The place is a bit hard to find: its tucked away in the corner of the Powers Ferry Square shopping center at the intersection of Powers Ferry Road and Roswell. Place is great for a light meal and drinks, girls night out, that kind of thing. North Buckhead could use a few more places like this. Johnny's Hideaway is across the street if you are here around 8 and want to dance after. Women can dress up or go casual.Cool place.

Super fresh flavors and fast service. We tried the tacos and rice bowl. Both yummy. Would definitely return.

One of the best burritos every. Every thing was very fresh and was very flavorful. The staff was very nice

Westside has been thriving for awhile.I wanted to get some cheap and cheerful food on a Friday night. After a wine tasting nearby I was ready for what Bartaco had to offer. Ordered almost exclusively vegetables as it was hot and I wanted less food. Corn on the cob in Cotija cheese was a winner,as were the lettuce wrapped baja tacos I asked for.

I am fortunate enough to have the kind of job that brings me to many cool places. I had a business dinner here that worked out just fine. Although bar taco is never intended to be a business setting, the dinner was great. The parking is a bit of a challenge, depending on when you arrive. I caved and valet parked. It made a lot of sense as street parking was not easy at dinner time. The servers were excellent, attentive and accommodating. It got a bit noisy, but Bartaco is a fun place, frequented by fun people, having a fun time. You should include yourself in that scene as often as possible and Bartaco is a great place to start. In fact, start with some guacamole. It's delicious. I had falafel tacos which were great. Don't skip the portobello tacos. The cauliflower tacos were tasty as well. The indoor seating is ample, but the patio seating seems to be where it's at. I feel like this place has a loyal neighborhood following and is almost a family like atmosphere. Leave room for dessert as well. I liked the spicy chocolate pudding. Plan on staying a while and enjoying the night air, as the portion walls are opened at night and the entire place comes alive with night skies, cool breezes and soft night lighting. Go there now!

The setup and decor of the restaurant was very nice for hanging out during warm sunny days. The food was excellent and well priced. I would suggest the large plate for two people. The only down side was that the beer selection was very overpriced by $2-3.

Visited Bartaco with my wife during a weekend get away. We love Mexican and boutique tacos so this place stood out and we decided to visit. Upon arrival its was clear they were busy and we were expecting to wait. We were told 25-30 minutes, not too bad. A hour later when I asked the hostess couldn't give me a straight answer even though there were multiple tables that had been free for at least 20 mins. 3 of the staff continued to walk around with ipads and confused looks. I understand people not leaving tables but it was clear they had no clue how to turn tables. The table we finally got around 15 minutes later (for a total of 1:15 min wait) had been free for nearly 30 minutes. We order drinks and the salsa trio, we got the salsa pretty quickly but finished it 10 mins before our drinks came out. Now, it was clear our waiter was working hard, possibly under staffed? He looked like he could fall over at anytime. We then ordered tacos, my wife ordered 3, I ordered 6, they came our on two plates all mixed up, the server told us which ones were which but due to the blaring music you couldn't hear anyone talk. Now, the good news is the tacos were fantastic, some of the best I've had. They were small and I could have eaten 3-5 more but they were still pretty good. Overall I wouldn't go back for dinner, with the poor service and loud music its not a good place for a date. Maybe a lunch visit is in my future because the food is that good.

I absolutely love this particular location. Valet Parking is available for $3. I typically get the tacos when I come here, however this time I decided to try the cauliflower bowl. To my surprise, it was extremely flavorful and yummy. I would definitely get this dish again. They are Keylime pie and a jar is very good as well as all the drinks. I also enjoy their plantains and guacamole and chips. There’s really nothing here on the menu that’s not good! I continue to go back to this particular location time and time again. There is indoor seating as well as outdoor seating available.

The tacos were so delicious! We had a selection - 3 tacos per person is a good amount. Our favourite was the duck. The service was good and the outside patio was a great spot to enjoy a cold beer after lunch.

Very happening place...Be careful of service and not getting what you ordered, however, everything is delicious. The pork tamales and the steak rice bowls being my favorite!

This place is good but a bit pricey, I love the cauliflower taco was really good. I also like quesadilla. This place is a great atmosphere for a date night.

I ate lunch here while waiting on a friend. The service was a little bit slow, not good considering I was there around 11am, right after opening. The outdoor patio was very nicely decorated and had ample shade. The chips they served were half fresh and half stale. The salsa was amazing. We ordered a sampler of 5 tacos-- boar, baja, shrimp, duck, and chicken. WOW. They all had such unique flavor profiles and were perfectly balanced-- nothing too salty or lacking brightness. I would go again, but only order tacos.

The service here is great - friendly wait staff will walk you thru the menu and give you suggestions like asking for the roasted half chicken to be deep-fried (awesome!). The drinks are good and not too strong. And it's a real happening place.

I had not been to any of the locations and had some vey high hopes. The service was vey good. It was a nice atmosphere. But the food to me did not deliver at all. It's true that I only love flour tacos and you can ask to substitute. So I did. But the flour taco itself was just OK. I ordered three tacos. They were just Okay. There was not much flavor to any of them. One of them which was a pork taco. had nothing else in the taco. The meat was tough. The guacamole was bland. I am not a big spice or onion person but it was just bland. I would rather stand on line for Taqueria del Sol across the street. Nothing beats their fried chicken taco. I hate to put comparisons in my reviews but not even close. Even the giant tortilla that came with the guacamole tasted stale. Maybe it was just a bad kitchen day.

Had dinner with daughter. She loves the place and wanted me to experience it. Marvelous margarita, didn't dissapoint. Oyster tacos, yum and more. Chips and green salsa were a tasty treat, with key lime pie to go. Pdrfect Friday night. Will definitely return with my band of girlfriends .

The 6 of us enjoyed our meals except my wife (her chicken salad had a few bones in it and was too spicy for her liking). We ordered probably 20 tacos of differing varieties. Problem was, the food runner delivered them mixed together. Although they told us what they were, as soon as we were alone, we had no idea which taco was which. My advice would be to put the same taco on one tray, and so on. The joint was busy and our server, while friendly and accommodating, seemed like he was having trouble keeping up, so refills, etc, were not up to par. On a good note, we were quoted an hour wait but only waited 15 minutes. I’m not sure that is good for the restaurant though as it might scare off potential customers.

Went on a Tuesday night with coworkers. Service was SLOW and it wasn't crowded. Some of my coworkers dishes took several minutes to arrive, while others came out quickly. I ordered a drink that never arrived. Food was ok, not great. Small plates and small portions, so be prepared to spend. Cool place in a great neighborhood but not sure if I'll return anytime soon.

We were there with some out of town friends. I had a fish taco, pork taco and the falafel taco. All were good. The tacos are soft bread and very small, so it will take a few to make a meal. I’m not a big eater and it took 3 to fill me up.

The tables are jammed so close together, the waiter can barely squeeze in between to do his job and because the tables are so close, the restaurant is very loud and noisy. Expensive for what you get - when you can eat an entire taco in two bites, I would say the portions are small and expensive. Service is also not great. I tried to like this place, but I cannot recommend it based on my experience. There are many other restaurants to try instead of wasting your paycheck here.

Me and my friends sat in the patio area where the manager ((Bobby)) sat us. There was an unpleasant smell that kept hitting me and my friends. I was told by a worker that it was a dead rat under the bowl where their service area is. I was truly disgusted finding another dead rat as well. When I walked in the restaurant to use the the restroom I noticed the manager eating chips out the salsa which is so unsanitary. Very disappointed with my experience. The workers did they’re best with their service tho.

This place has a great vibe! Love the atmosphere, the service was nice and fast! The whole thing was perfect!! Love this place food was awesome, the guacamole was in my top 10 must try and the chorizo tacos uff! Highly recommend it for anything, once is not enough!

Love this place! Every Time I visit BarTaco I always have a great time. Not to mention the fact that I leave stuffed like a taco! The chicken soup is definitely home made and delicious. The guac was on point today!!! Soft and fresh, not too spicy or salty, it was just perfect! Our waitress was very pleasant and friendly. The manager Roberto soto stopped by out table to check up on us. He did a great job informing us about the product, the brand and future plans. We where very pleased to hear that there will be future new locations. The food came out in great timing, smelling fresh and hot :) we filled out our message card at the end of the service and got out free taco for a future visit! Who could say no to a free taco!?! Will be coming back soon!

This place is apparently a chain, but felt chic and cool in hip West Midtown. Food was very fresh and creative, but the visit was highlighted by the friendly and attentive service of several staff members working in unison. I LOVED the chicken soup, served piping hot and full of delicious fresh vegetables.

I went to the one on Marietta Street (there is another on Roswell Rd.). The place is always packed. The noise level is perfect. I had the Margarita which was superb but there are so many interesting drinks look at the cocktail menu. Food...we are talking fingers in play (though they do give you a knife and fork.) Instead of trying to figure everything out I ordered the small plate which included several different types of tacos, pickled cucumbers (different than just pickles) Cole Slaw and guacamole. Rather than give away each item...go have fun. There is Valet parking. Be prepared to wait or grab a seat at the bar.

These tacos are really small, as they will tell you, so take the wait staffs advise and get 3-5 per person. The drink menu is good, and again listen to the wait staff that will tell you that the margarita has a lot of tequila. The only complaint I had was that it was so loud that i could not hear people talking across the table.

This is such a fun restaurant! Their tacos, guac, and rice bowls! The service was great, and we had a great meal! Definitely not a lot of parking options other than valet, but it is worth the walk! Such a fun atmosphere, too!

Killer service, killer food, killer atmosphere, killer drinks- doesn't matter if you get their homemade tea with basil, homemade lemonade, or their fresh margaritas, it's all amazing. Top 3 places we ate at on our visit. Do yourself a solid, and eat here. Wish we had a place like this in New Orleans.

Cool, chic restaurant with great food and atmosphere. Lines are long at times but worth the wait. Order a variety of tacos and enjoy the awesomeness!!

Excellent special "Lamb Barbacoa'. Like the "Dragonfly" card concept, which lets your Server know you need attention. The bottles of hot sauces allow you to add just the right zing!

I love eating here! The food is delicious, and the staff members are friendly. It has a great vibe for couples or groups.

Strong drink, cheap GOOD tacos and guacamole, great service. I will be back! P.S.- if you like pork, try the pork belly taco.

Complimentary valet is offered. We didn't make reservations and as a party of four we were seated no later than 10 minutes (went on a Thursday evening). It was noisy and very busy which was ok with me because I was with my girlfriends and we get loud lol. The waiter/waitress will explain how to order (on a write on menu like the sushi restaurants) and you definitely don't feel pressured to order. I had the baja fish, chicken and shrimp tacos, initially. Later on I end up purchasing a pork belly taco and OMG that taco was sooo freaking good. It superseded the previous mentioned tacos lol. Two of my other friends had the shrimp and chicken rice bowls. I was told the chicken bowl was very good and the shrimp bowl had a lot of cilantro. I believe that maybe important if you don't like too much of that herb. We also ordered margaritas. Not the best I've had but tolerable.

We opted to sit outside due to COVID. The seating area was sufficient....everyone was a little more than 6 feet apart. You access the menu via barcode on the table. The food was fresh, somewhat small in size. So if you're hungry, you may want to order a taco or two or three. Overall, I would return.

The food was wonderful and the staff every attentive and just great. Innovative tab to get staff attention. Minor issue which was immediately resolved by Antjuan , manager.

Seriously- try the sesame ribeye tacos and the seasonal sangria. Delish. Good food and drink selections for varying tastes. Restaurant decor is cute and on-trend. There was also a huge patio for outdoor dining. It is very busy so it got a little loud, but the service was great.

We had the guacamole, ceviche and churros. All were delicious. I would go back specifically to eat them again. Nice covered patio area

High energy bar scene, with good tacos (bar food), Fish tacos, duck, excellent guacamole. Moderate to expensive.
Great birthday/cinco de mayo celebration
First time visitor for bartaco here and it was highly recommended by several local friends. Great atmosphere and knowledgeable staff made this hidden gem and instant favorite. Went for lunch to celebrate my friends wife's bday and bartaco went above and beyond. The fish, oyster, chorizo, and pork belly tacos are all a must. I don't even like plantains but they were unbelievable, I also really enjoyed the cucumber salad and the roasted corn with the cotija cheese. Lastly I wanted to but a round of shots for the bday girl and the bartender Lorenzo was very personable and knowledgable, he went above and beyond to make us feel special and cared for. Thank you again bartaco can't wait to return
