I was so pleased with our food and dining experience at this restaurant. It was delicious, plentiful and well presented. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our visit. It was like going to a family meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Dinner

By Larry B |

Hotel recommend. Arrived and the place was full but welcomed by staff (later to learn one of the owners). Everyone eating was happy and enjoying their meals. Seated and ordered. Wine was good meals were even better. Seared hot and nicely presented. Staff answered all questions about menu well and helpfully. We will be back again.

Great dining experience near MIA

By Stephen |

This restaurant hits all the marks. The service was attentive and friendly. The restaurant was full (we made a reservation), the ambiance was pleasant-not loud but you could tell people were enjoying themselves. And the food was wonderful. I should add that the prices were very fair. There was literally nothing to criticize. What made it even better was that we were marooned at MIA for the evening and thought we were going to have to experience the inevitable disappointment of an airport restaurant. Instead we found Basilico in our online search, and it was no more than a ten minute drive by Uber ($14 plus tip). Based on our experience, we would not hesitate to patronize it if we lived in the area.

Friendly and warm Italian Restaurant

Bank!

By Rene R |

Place is amazing! A hidden gym, fresh flavors in every bite I took. The host has such class and such respect for the customer. He treated me like he knew me for years very attentive and since I didnt know what I was look for he helped me pick out a great meal like he knew what I wanted or been coming for years. Such a classy place. I'm coming back on buisness again and I'm not leaving with out stopping here again I had such a great steak that was like butter by far the best ever. You have to stop in here great meal easy to get too.

GREAT ITALIAN

By FGD8 |

We were looking for good Italian close to our hotel and Basilico did not disappoint. I had a steak (Italian style) which was one of the most tender I have eaten from Aregentian to South Africa to New Zealand and beyond. truly excellent. the other dishes were also raved about.

Best Italian in Town.

By pmejias15 |

Many years eating at this wonderful place and always same excellent and authentic Italian food with very good quality. Excellent personalized attention. Definitely one of my favorite places to have a business lunch or a very relaxed and amazing diner.

Very very very bad service

By Alba U |

Very bad service, missing some sensibility training. Got ask for a Miami-Dade issued ID for my service dog, this doesn’t exist, and according to the law they cannot ask for any proof, they can only ask me questions about the tasks the dog performs. After pointing this out, the waiter said he would ask the owner, the owner was extremely rude and proceeded to inform me that without a Miami-Dade ID for the service dog you have to leave, it’s impossible to serve you. So, yes, get some training for you and your employees before you get fined.

Great Dinner

By Virgina C |

We ate here the night before our cruise. Since we were staying at the Best Western, it was about 10/15 minute walk to the restaurant. This restaurant is very convenient if you don't have a car. However, if you are driving, there is parking right in front of the restaurant. The food was very good, ant the service was as well. I had pasta and my husband had the fish special. All fresh and reasonably priced. If we ever go on a cruise again, I will return!

So glad we found this place!

By inclinekiwi |

Our small tour group (6 persons) stayed at the Best Western North nearby and picked this restaurant from a map at the hotel front desk. A short walk and we found this little gem in a strip mall (get your hair cut next door). No reservation, but they accommodated us quickly. Great Italian food, impeccable service, pleasant setting. I ordered the veal piccata and it was excellent. Two weeks later our group returned (suntanned) from Cuba and as we were again staying overnight at the BW we decided to go back to Basilico. Excellent again. Two of us decided it was the best Caesar salad we'd ever had. Everyone was very happy with the food. I had the veal again and it was perfection - tender meat, plenty of delicious sauce and capers. Good wine list, and friendly service. We all wished that we lived closer so we could enjoy this delightful restaurant more often.

Good italian eats

By cynthiap898 |

Don't be put off by the strip mall location on 36th Street. Food is excellent, a nice step up from homestyle, but they still have that too. I love the pear gorgonzola pasta and the chicken gorgonzola.

Amazing service and food!

By Gringo |

My new favorite restaurant in Miami!!! We both had spaghetti with white clam sauce, and it was perfect!!! Oh yes, we will be back!

Delightful Hideaway Restaurant

By Sandy3579 |

Hidden away in a little strip shopping center is a magical little restaurant. Hands down the most authentic Italian food I've eaten in a very long time. We had the chicken topped with spinach in a gorgonzola sauce and veal scallopine piccatta and fettucine. A delicious absolutely delectable Creme Brulee for desert! We live 4 hrs away but we'll me anxious to return.

Great place and even better food

By Randy D |

Went on a recommendation from a co worker who went with us. Very unassuming location in a small strip center. The inside was very nice, quaint and very orderly and clean. Greater and seated quickly. The service was great, the waiter was honest when questioned about certain dishes. He was not afraid to say that he “did not care” for a particular menu item and why. Portions were plentiful and the presentation was perfect. In our party of three one had Salmon, one chicken (gluten and dairy free diner) and the other a seafood pasta. All the plates were perfect, no complaints. The salad (not included) was worth the extra $7. I had the spinach salad and the other two the Cesar. Would definitely recommend this place and I will come again on my next trip to Miami.

Friendly local restaurant, great food & service

By Alex Chartier |

4 of us made a reservation for dinner prior to catching a late flight out of Miami. I am glad we did. Our reservation was for 6:30 but we arrived a little early. Seated no problem. Drink & meal orders in and withing 40 minutes or so the place was packed. it appeared to be a great number of regulars as they were all greeted as friends. Dinner was excellent and the service, even though packed, was perfectly timed. We would go back in a heartbeat next time we are in the Miami area.

Perfect

By Alejandra C |

I love this place I might be my favorite restaurant in Miami, great service, exceptional food and every single meal I had there was great!

Excelent Food

By chrisss835 |

Small but very good food. I really enjoyed the four cheese ravioli. The rest of the menu look very good and the staff provided very good service

Hidden Gem

By P DeRiu |

I picked this place because of the reviews. Don’t let the nondescript outside appearance fool you . Once inside the place is very clean and authentic as if you are vacationing Rome itself . The staff was very professional and the menu had something for everyone. The presentation of the food was so good that I took a photo of my plate to show my wife what she was missing. One of the best Italian restaurants in Miami. Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

Consistent quality

By Fletch |

Been there 5 times the last 3 months. Service and quality has been consistent every time. If your staying by the airport, you don't have many choices so this was a great find.

I love this place

By Carla G |

If your are looking for a good place to eat and feel like home, do not doubt and go to Basilico, the food is the best one and the service is amazing

Surprising but good!

By Tara P |

We were invited to meet a friend here and found the restaurant in a quiet location in a strip mall...very unassuming on the outside, but inside an attractive little trattoria. Great food, decent wines and pleasant service. Definitely a hidden gem

Great Food!!!

By Tod Z |

You would never believe you could find a gem like this in the area. I looked on Tripadvisor what was in the area and the reviews for this place were great. I looked at the menu and it looked good, man we sure made a great choice. Highly recommended.

Always amazing!

By Noelia M |

I've been eating at this restaurant for many years and the food is always delicious and consistent. The service is wonderful despite the fact that they are always busy. I've been here for lunch, dinner and on weekends. Their Osso Bucco and Risotto are must haves. Their daily fish specials are always healthy and fresh.

Real Italian

By TerryHull_Iowa |

If you love real Italian food, don’t miss this gem. We walked there from nearby airport hotel. Everything fresh and delicious. One note, doesn’t open til 6 in the evening, which we didn’t notice until we got there. Well worth the wait.

Solid Italian near the airport

By spidergorget |

Ate here while staying at the airport hotel during an overnight layover. The restaurant staff were friendly, attentive, and the food was very good, including one of the better arugula salads I've had in the states. Full of regulars on a Tuesday night - always a good sign and a great antidote to 2 days in various airports.

Great Italian food, and warm cozy atmosphere

By BEGa18 |

Wife and I in Miami, staying close to airport. Called Basilico Ristorante at 6PM on Saturday night and able to get 7PM reservation. Restaurant in quiet strip center. Cozy, small place with eighteen tables and all men crew. I started with Cesar salad ($8), very creamy and rich. My entre was seafood linguini ($21), rich marinara sauce, took half home. Wife had Pollo Gorgonzola ($18), creamy sauce with lots of good vegetables, took half home. We each had glass of Merlot ($8). We highly recommend and will return.

Surprise find near the airport

By SF_Bill-2002 |

We visited Basilico Restaurante on the night before a cruise from Miami. Wonderful small italian restaurant located a bit obscurely by the airport. Very friendly staff who seemed to know everyone who came in the evening we dined there. Though we were the only strangers we were greeted warmly and provided with great service. My companion started with the beef Carpaccio and I had the broccoli soup of the day. Both were excellent. The carpaccio was fresh and plentiful and the soup thin and flavorful, not thick with cream and thickeners. We both had the gorgonzola and pear ravioli with figs and marsala for our main course. Unusual and outstanding! Would have liked more. Good wine list by the bottle and by the glass. Fair prices. We'll definitely be back.

Interesting menu, good food, good service

By Vacation802836 |

We were a bit surprised. No bruschetta or pizza, although we didn't want to order the latter anyway. I had that night's special, a pea soup. Great! I had the gorgonzolla/marscipone stuffed ravioli. IT was also quiet good. My wife had pasta with clams and a salad. Both excellent!

True Italian Dining in Miami Springs

By Samuel M |

This review is for the restaurant located adjacent to Miami International Airport on NW 36th Street. After a long day at the beach we got back to our hotel, showered, and started looking for a sit-down restaurant within walking distance. Located in a small nearby strip plaza, we walked in without reservations and were greeted immediately by the staff and seated. This place is relatively small, so it was a good thing we got here early (right after 6:00 p.m. when they open for dinner). This is a true Italian restaurant with all the basic Italian dishes. Though some dishes were not offered, such as Chicken Parmesan and Veal Parmesan, there was still plenty to choose from with prices ranging from $20 for basic Spaghetti with meat sauce to $33 for some of the steak entrees available. I opted for the linguine with clam sauce, and it was outstanding. Cooked to perfection in the proper white clam sauce, while my wife chose the spaghetti bolognese and found it equally delicious. Although a side salad/antipasto is extra, the meals are served with fresh Italian bread and butter. Service was exceptionally fast, and we waited less than 15 minutes for our meals. Can't comment on dessert because we passed on that, but in hindsight I wish we would have ordered something. Overall, this was a nice dining experience that easily outweighs the traditional chain restaurants and is very much worth a visit.

Dinner

By Explorer402933 |

Lovely gem near Miami airport. Veal was delicious. Service attentive. It was obvious that many of the other diners were regulars

A surprising find

By donald E |

A perfect spot near the airport. Didn't expect to find such a fine restaurant. It's small with a knowledgeable and professional staff, excellent service and superb food. Our choice: catch of the day - corvina. Perfectly cooked - i.e., NOT over-cooked - in a delicious red pepper sauce. You won't go wrong here.

They know how to prepare FISH!

By Aviv T |

I have been coming to Basilico since they opened over 17 years ago. never a bad meal, their lunch special always have fish - today it was trout, and its always fresh and perfectly made. owners and servers are always friendly and personable. this is a 5 star food quality in a strip mall across from the airport, highly recommended!.

Quite secluded place, but great

By nick i |

We stumbled accidentally in this place, but turned into a nice experience. The food was great, service fast and professional. The atmosphere here looks like in the '80s but has a real charm. Yet not a cheap place, but it worth the money.

A pleasant surprise for a weary traveler

By Ken S |

We were on an overnight layover for a flight from MIA, and Basilico was recommended by the staff at one of the hotels along 36th St. We were skeptical, but one look at the crisp, white tablecloths and a quick & friendly greeting at the door convinced us to give Basilico a try; and we're so glad we did! A welcoming wine list (that doesn't mention by-the-glass, but the house wines are) and delicious-sounding and -tasting entrées, all at reasonable prices, made Basilico a perfect choice. The staff is friendly, accommodating and efficient. One note to travelers: This is not a pizza joint, and that's a plus!

Truly Italian

By Roddie M |

Excellent pasta, excellent wine, excellent coffee, excellent service, excellent prices. Multilingual staff capable of catering to all one's needs with tact and timing. Nice quiet atmosphere for a working day lunch. A very enjoyable experience.

Dining With Excellence

By Melvin M |

This restaurant is casual and service is wonderful. Did not have to wait long for our order and tasting thumbs up. Recommend this place.

Surprising Italian food

By James M |

Was en route from New Jersey to Key West when during a stopover in Miami my wife and I dined at Basilico at the recommendation of two Florida friends. We are surrounded by excellent Italian restaurants where in live in North Jersey and Basilico rates as good or maybe even somewhat better than the best of our home ground. Great saucing, perfectly cooked fish and all round extraordinary attention to detail. One of the owners took care of us and even comped an exceptional tiramisu for my wife's birthday. Considering we were never going to be regulars they couldn't have been more professional and courteous. Although a little hard to find on the north side boundary road of MIA international it is more than worth the effort.

Stranded in Miami - wonderful dinner

By JohnKinnaman |

We found ourselves stranded in Miami due to a cancelled flight. Via Tripadvisor we found this terrific little Italian Restotante near the airport - who's to know? There must be hundreds of good Italian restaurants in the Miami area - well we found one. Nice people, wonderful food(great veal and bufalata and all the rest) and nice wine list. Very reasonable - $231 for four plus gratuity. This is a real find that we would recommend to anyone and certainly return to. Kinnaman's / Romanos'

Great Italian food in Miami

By rafael H |

One of the best Italian places I have visited in Miami. Affordable and good service. The Pasta Vongole was my favorite!

A family restaurant

By jhasko |

We took an uber to the Basilico during our stay at a local hotel, the atmosphere was of a favorite spot for locals to enjoy a good Italian meal. The service was great and the meal outstanding

Well Worth Finding

By Captain_Ballast |

My wife and I had one of the best dining experiences ever at this great restaurant. It’s in an unpretentious strip center and next door to Subrageous, but don’t let that deter you. Their service and food are truly upscale, and their prices are reasonable. We started with an antipasto platter and arugula salads which were fantastic. My entree was black pasta and scallops with diablo sauce and my wife had their Gorgonzola pear ravioli. We were both thrilled with our choices. Their wine list is wonderful and features a great selection of Italian wines along with some from California and elsewhere. The ambiance is good, the food and service are exceptional. Give it a try. You’ll be glad you did.

Family visit with out of town relatives

By Pedro E |

We went to Basilico for the first time with out of town relatives. Its a gem in Doral. Food and prices excellent. Staff very helpful. Will definitely come back.

Fantastic dining near MIA

By Kat H |

Because it was raining, we opted for a restaurant right by our hotel. What a gem!! This is the type of place that is so good, you almost don’t want to write a review so you can keep it a local secret. My partner had the pasta with lobster sauce (they make their own pasta) - it was outstanding. I have to eat gf pasta but even that was good and the sauce was fabulous. Will absolutely eat here again.

Superb Italian Food and Atmosphere!!

By Chase's travel tips |

So i have lived in Italy off and on for 4 years! I can honestly tell you that this place is as close to Italy as you can get without buying a plane ticket! The atmosphere is Italianesque, the wine selection is amazing and priced really reasonable, the staff treat you like family AND THE FOOD!!! Simply delicious food. Great flavors, good selection on the menu, everything is fresh and cooked to perfection! The prosciutto was some of the best i have ever had. Do yourself and favor and come to this place to have your very own Italy dining experience!! Buon Apetito!!

Perfect For Anyone Near MIA

By David A |

Fresh food and great service in a strip center just to the North of MIA. It's become our go-to place to either wait for returning/visiting family flights, or to spend some quality food time near MIA.

Comfortable Italian restaurant

By Paul C |

4 guys on a golf trip, from Italian Schenectady, so we are fussy, and this place was fabulous. The wait staff could not have been more helpful, they customized dishes to create a pasta course for all of us (we did the Bolognese sauce over their Fettuccini), and they offer a decent wine selection. Doral is not blessed with an abundance of great restaurants, if you are looking for Italian this place is a must.

FRESH, CREAMY AND OH SO TASTY!

By Andrea B |

This is a small establishment. The food was great. Initial seating issue but the tasty food resolved that! This is located to the right of the hotel in walking distance.

An amazing, hidden gem

By Larry K |

We arrived at Miami International Airport and our nearby hotel had no restaurant so we walked a few minutes and stumbled on this hidden gem of a restaurant in a strip mall ... we had an outstanding dinner served by a warm and attentive staff ... some of the best Italian food and wine we have had since we were in Italy! BRAVO!

Hidden Italian Gem, Must try!

By ndalbani |

If i wasnt referred to this restaurant by a relative i wouldnt have looked at it twice! If you are just passing by the area you will not even notice it or give going in a second thought, But trust me you should! Food is as authentic Italian as it can get here (as told by an Italian) Good selection of pastas, plates are well sized and prices are reasonable. Will be going there more often. Will recommend a reservation since it tends to become crowded

Incredibile

By nicholas |

First time, but not the last. Excellent!!! Every dish was delicious A real find. Highly recommended! MANGIA!

My favorite restaurant - a jewel in a strip shopping center

By archdent |

Basilico offers the bests of northern Italian food. Best known for their excellent cuts of meat and vine selection. Desserts are to die for - tiramisu is my favorite. Every dish that I have ever had here was delicious. Clothe table coverings, intimate atmosphere and great service.

BEST RISOTTO IN TOWN!

By cfun1212 |

Hands down this is one of my top favorite restaurants in Miami. If any one asks me for great food and service I would point the way to Basilico. I have been coming to this restaurant for several years and not once have i been disappointed in ether the food or service. It is in a little strip mall, and to be honest if some friends had not invited us, i would never have gone in. But boy I'm I glad I went. The best Risotto you can ever taste is here and if you get lucky on the day they are serving their Black Risotto, you will be in heaven. I never bother to look at the menu, but anxiously wait for their daily specials.

Good place to eat

By Orlando V |

Always good food and service. Have been coming here for years and the food gets better and better. The best pasta and seafood dishes in Miami ( world-class cuisine). The service is excellent and they make you feel like family. If you haven't been, I highly recommend you try going.

Delicious Food, Nice Ambiance & Best Service

By Ivy S |

Basilico Restaurant is hidden in a small shopping strip that can be easily overlooked if you drive by too fast. Once found, you will enjoy the best prepared filet mignon, salmon, corbina and shrimp risotto in town! If you are looking for a charming, low-light restaurant where you can hear your date without having to shout, this is the place. The service is top-notch and the price is right. They are closed on Sundays.

Fantastic

By gincar2016 |

Small restaurant located in a little strip mall in Miami Springs. However, the food is excellent and the servers are friendly, helpful and smiling. The menu is impressive and they also have daily specials. Will definitely go back.

Great Secret spot

By Charles D |

Wonderful dinner for those staying on hotel row ( NW 36th St) right by the Airport. A gem in a strip center. Great sauces on my Shrimp and pasta as well as my wife's Chicken stuffed Medallions

Great restaurant close to MIA Airport

By Simon P |

Very friendly staff. Excellent food. Good service. I wanted to meet with our son's intended In-Laws who were in Miami around the same time that I was, so I invited them to meet me at Basilico. I had been there once or twice before and have never been disappointed. This time, I found the staff to be even more friendly than I had remembered and I was very happy that I suggested the place. The food was well prepared, very tasy and at the perfect temperature. The wine was also excellent. All-in-all a wonderful experience.

Surprisingly amazing

By Hisfriend |

Pulling up you wouldn't think this place would be as great as it is as the plaza isn't so nice. The food is off the charts great - best Italian I've ever had in Florida. Loaded with Italians at lunch - which says a lot. Prices are reasonable - can't go wrong here.

Sunday Dinner

By nibaldom2015 |

This is a hidden gem in Doral. Great Italian food, reminds me when I lived in Boston and would go to North End(Italian area in Boston). From their appetizers to main entrees are delicious. This place does not get the fanfare as the Italian restaurants on South Beach but the food is just as good if not better, without the parking ordeal of the beach. The service is very good and a very friendly staff. Weekend nights can get very crowded, and therefore if you don't want to wait make reservations, or better yet go on a Sunday afternoon. If there is one thing I would improve, would like better wine selection by the glass. Overall, great place for Italian food.

Executive Lunch Menu = Winner

By Papa G |

Most pasta dishes are only 10 bucks for lunch. I added chicken to my pesto pasta for an additional two dollars. Lunch brings soup or salad too. This place packs them in daily and with good reason. Good Food at a good price never goes out of style. These guys got the equation down so well, they have opened a second space out in Doral. Bouana Fortuna!

Perfecto!

By Bradley A |

Staff friendly and very attentive. Loved the atmosphere. Small, quaint and lots of locals. The exterior is a strip mall--but that only makes for great prices and great food. Had the Spinach Fettuccine in Lobster Sauce and a Spinach Salad. Both big enough to share. Delicious. I think I was the only patron who was not hugged and kissed like in The Godfather.

Excellent food

By Kevin Q |

Wife & I ate here on a Saturday night around 8 PM based on recommendation from our hotel front desk. We were able to get a table for 2 immediately. The food was nothing short of excellent ... my wife had the spinach ravioli and loved it, while the fettuccine carbonara was some of the best I've ever had. We did not have an anti-pasti, and between the fresh bread and our entrees the servings were more than sufficient for a full meal. The service was good, and the gentlemen waiting tables were well-versed in both English and Spanish. Our meals, plus a glass of wine each came to just under $50. Overall a very good experience, and a restaurant we will definitely go back to the next time we have an overnight stay in Miami.

Excellent, excellent food....but

By IslandLife21 |

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. The food is beyond fabulous! The service is great except for the "attitude" of the two male servers. We found both of them to be quite cold and unfriendly. A smile would have been nice. They did not want to make small conversation and the restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived. Although we would highly recommend Basilico if you love terrific Italian food, we hope you get a warmer reception than we did!

Great food, great service

By difelidi |

We dropped in with 12 people and they made space for us. Some of them were Italian descendants - they appreciated the real Italian flavor. We had a good wine, good gnocchi, raviolis, pasta, desserts, everything was really good.

Diamond in the Rough!

By 53blondie345 |

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local who said, "You might not believe it, but that little Italian restaurant has a filet mignon that will melt in your mouth!" Now I believe it. We tried the appetizers that our waiter recommended and had a lovely Cabernet with the meal, and creme brûlée for dessert. It was superb. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Italian in Miami

By Voyageur100 |

I was staying in the nearby hotel prior to flying out, and Trip Advisor led me to this place in a nearby strip mall. It was fantastic. I had the gnocchi, my companions had the seafood linguine and the crab ravioli. All of them were delicious and very reasonably priced. Clean, prompt service and great food. Can't ask for more.

Delicious food & nice ambiance

By k8sk9s |

After a planned visit/tour of ZooMiami we had researched restaurants in the area and came upon Basilico. We made reservations weeks ago as it was Valentine’s Day. We were warmly greeted and the food was quite delicious. We had enjoyed pasta, ravioli, & veal dishes. Desserts were outstanding as well. A welcoming atmosphere and it was obvious that it’s a favorite among locals. We were NOT rushed. We will definitely return on our next visit to the Zoo!

excellent

By Vandi M |

Unassuming small Italian restaurant near the airport. Food was superb and staff were friendly and attentive.

Molto buono!

By Lemonakos |

Excellent Italian cuisine, you can find Italian products and... real bread finally! We were very well served and value for money really nothing to say.

Our favorite restaurant in Miami

By Isabel I |

This place is the Best. We have been coming here for years now. It’s small, friendly and the food is absolutely delicious! The other night I ordered risotto with scampi shrimp and my husband the osso buco. Both outstanding. And, they have my favorite wine: the Gavi from Piemonte. Wonderful!

Great Authentic Italian

By Carolyn P |

Basilico Ristorante was an awesome authentic Italian restaurant!! The dressing on the Caesar salad was homemade and to die for!! I think they make their own pasta!! At least it tasted like it; and the sauces were awesome. The atmosphere was great and the service superb!! Would definitely recommend it!!

Bom Ristorante italiano.

By Rodrigo S |

Long established excellent Italian restaurant, very popular airport lunch time crowd. good choice, reasonable prices, good service and pleasant ambiance.

Good restaurant

By vsalas |

Without being pretentious, is an excelente restaurant. The food is very good. We had three different pasta dishes: bologna, alfredo with shrimp and vongole. All of them were excellent. Also the salad and the cream of vegetables were also very good. We had panacota for dessert, also excellent. The waiters were very friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

Savory and unpretentious

By EFIATKOSKI |

Everything you look for in Miami today is something less standardized. This restaurant has tasty and authentic Italian cousine with prompt and polite attention. Give it a go, even if the place isn't the poshiest one.

Unimpressive from the outside, great food awaits inside!

By NikkiBee13 |

Found out about this place when driving around hungry, visiting the area. Looks unimpressive from the outside, but is very nice inside. Menu is all salad and pastas, and it is all quite good! Really enjoyed my lunch here- ate way more than I usually do for lunch! Large portions even ordering off the lunch menu. Would definitely recommend!

Great!

By JoaoHenriquepilot |

Very good Italian food, fair prices and excellent services. It was a great surprise indeed. I recommend it for sure!

By Fernando Lauria |

Great option to eat once you arrive in Miami! Simple, but very tasty! I was with the family and we ate very well!

Surprise! A Fine Dining Restaurant in a Strip Mall? You Bet!

By Ungennanten |

A great place for excellent fine italian dining in a quiet and upscale atmosphere, Basilico is tucked in a very non-descript strip mall near a sub shop and a few other eateries. This gem is small so I would suggest reservations. My wife loved the gnoccie plate - I judge by the aglia olia pasta - 4 stars! Wine selection is very good. Service is great - not too "hovering" if you know what I mean. A very special italian place in a accessible setting. You gotta know it's there so don't drive past it!

So yummy stayed in Miami airport

By jacky c |

So yummy stayed in Miami airport hotel prior to flight and had dinner here. The antipasti was so good and enough to feed 4. I had the linguine with clam sauce which was one of the best I’ve had. My daughter has the pasta bolognese which was so good and full of meat sauce. Very cute inside and wonderful wait staff and inexpensive as well

A Little Piece of Italy-Argentina in Miami.

By jorgegrr |

This somewhat hidden restaurant on a small strip mall can be a surprise to many. Cozy and friendly; the food is always good and the portions are decent size. Their pasta dishes and their churrasco are some of my favorites. Prices are reasonable and their wine selection is good enough to suit most people.

Basilico Best Italian by MIA

By Papa G |

This cozy Italian joint has been serving superb cuisine for quite some time now. It is by far the best Italian anywhere near Miami International Airport aka MIA . Their executive lunches do not disappoint. Tonight we had the linguine frutti di mare and the Rollotato di Pollo both were well priced and very good. Service is gracious and efficient.

A real gem of a place

By Carla P |

Great food and good choice of Italian wines. Nothing disappointed so would recommend any dish. The specials of the day - rib eye cooked on the bone and black tagliatelle with shrimp were noteworthy.

Always great

By TheUPhil |

Have been going here for years and this time around we went for a family b-day. Ordered the app. specials which was tuna tartar and the burrata salad. both were amazing ..great taste and well presented. i ordered the rack of lamb and was cooked to perfection . it came with risotto and was perfectly al dente and very flavorful. a must for dessert is the panacota with strawberry sauce very traditional and always good. A cant miss restaurant!!!!

Great Dinner

Small restaurant near the airport. Waitress were very kind, You can enjoy good Italian food in Miami and that’s really rare!

Good Business Lunch location

By NDDN |

If you are in the Doral area, and need a decent place to have a business luncheon meeting, this is the place to go ! The food is excellent, fresh and service is good. Business partners loved the black linguini with shrimps. As a vegetarian, the salad was very fresh.

Sooooooo yummy

By TerryandDan |

Very nice authentic Italian restaurant. Hidden in a strip mall and very easy to miss. I only found it due to the reviews on trip advisor. The food was cooked up fresh and was very very good. Nice atmosphere. Bar serves beer and wine only. I had chicken piccata and my husband had the veal. We were both very happy with our meals Highly recommended

Very Friendly neighborhood restaurant.

By Gladys A |

Basilico is a very friendly atmosphere restaurant. It has been in the Miami Springs area for a long time. The food is very good with a lot of varieties for lunch or dinner.

Surprising find...

By sash824 |

We had a layover and this place was a couple of blocks away from the hotel. Honestly, we weren’t expecting a lot, but this place was sooooo good. Salmon starter with apples and the insalata caprese were delicious. These were followed by the veal piccata and carbonara - yummy. Service was friendly, and the ambience and decor a lovely surprise in an ordinary strip mall. If you’re staying near the airport it’s a highly recommended Italian restaurant, and a much better option than the ever ubiquitous fast food choices.

Lunch was delicious

By Pam R |

Food was very well prepared and presented. Husband had the pink trout, said he could eat it everyday. My pasta was superb. Minus one star for cold staff. Not real attentive and not the least bit friendly.

Changed name and menu

By manteemom |

The Italian food was wonderful!!! We went due to the reviews of the other restaurant but food still top notch. They said they changed the name 2 years ago. Menu was different but I requested chicken piccata that wasn’t on the menu but they made it. Was the best I’d ever had! Everyone was delighted with their food. Service was great also!!!

Excellent food and service

By Jaime E |

I have been having lunch at this restaurant for years and the quality of the service and food continues to be Number One. Greatly recommended.

Perfect surprise

By Terry L |

This super place is hidden in a small strip mall in Doral, but is well worth the visit, I was overnighting at Miami airport and found this on the net. I had a linguine frutti di mari, excellent, good wine list and desserts.

Best Italian Restaurant

I’ve been coming to Basilico for a while now and the staff is always welcoming. It is a small place but I love it, the best Italian food I’ve had and they remember who you are. I definitely recommend visiting this gem!

Lunch

By Scott A |

Fantastic. If i didnt look out the window you would think you were in little Italy. Great service, gteat wine, salad was delicious, and the linguine with clam sauce was out of this world. Everyone was very friendly. I highly reccomend this hideaway....not advertised and no need.

Excellent food and service.

By shaneski |

We stumbled across this small restaurant quite by accident, but boy am I glad we did. They accommodated us even though we showed up on an busy night with no reservation. The service and food were both very-good to excellent. Next time we are in Miami this is one of our go-to places.

Excellent first courses...at an Italian level...

By Gaspare L |

We had lunch based on meat and fish starters....very good...but the first courses are excellent....excellent level of cuisine....

Good choice for Italian

By TravelTrooper1026 |

The menu is somewhat limited but I did find something to try. Unfortunately, my husband didn't find anything that he desired, so he just ordered Caesar Salad. He did not like the dressing - it did taste more like mayonaise than anything else. However, my spaghetti with shrimp, asparagus and mushrooms was quite tasty.

Excellent Italian food; friendly welcome!

By karenjG2649DT |

We found the recommendation on TA and as we were staying at an airport hotel prior to flying home we thought we'd dine locally. The menu is excellent and the food lives up to its promise. The service was good despite the busy front of house. It's a pity we only found this on the last night, as there were so many great sounding dishes, it would have been nice to dine here more than once (and save ourselves some money compared to South Beach comparative dining).

Great food, great service

By JS60 |

We were in Miami for a week and this was our favorite place. Everyone's dinner was about perfect. Nice wine list and great service. We would definitely come back.

A wonderful restaurant

By JoanneandGaryS |

The menu is imaginative, prices are very good, and the food - superb. This w as our first time at Basilico but we will certainly be back. We will put this on our list of favorites and will certainly be back.

Fantastic restaurant

By Bruce R |

I was really impressed with the food served at this little hole in the wall. It was among the best I have had in or outside of Italy. The saffron risotto especially was amazing. This place doesn't look like much, since it is in a little strip mall, but trust me - if you are anywhere near Miami airport - go.

Always good!

By Jorge Pelegrina Soegaard |

For the lasts 15 years, I have been going to this restaurant, many times when I visit Miami and am in that area. Last night I went again and as always, it was good. It always has good food, friendly service and it is not expensive. If your are in the Miami airport area, give it a try. You will not regret it. I recommend it.

Lovely atmosphere - delicious food

By ldhtx |

Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The waiter was attentive, and the food was delicious. We had the arugula salad, the butternut squash soup special, the cod special, and the gnocchi, and everything was very good. The soup was a bit watery. Dessert was great! Recommend to anybody.

Excellent food, very nice waiters , pleasant atmosphere. We were invited by family to this restaurant , and they suggested certain dishes all of them EXCELLENT. Even though the restaurant was pretty much full the waiters were attentive , friendly and quick.

Love this place, always great

Great place for lunch or family-friends dinner. The food is great and the service is wonderful. True Miami gem with a proven history of excellence. Try their frutti di mare or the risotto:)

Northern Italian

By Miamismith305 |

Basilico has 2 locations (Doral and Virginia Gardens) which are relatively close. They offer Northern Italian inspired dishes. It has a sober decoration and the place is usually packed. Food is delicious and portions are very large, so if you want to eat pasta at an authentic Italian restaurant, no pretensions at all, you need to pay it a visit.

Very Nice Italian food

Very good Italian food at Basilico's for a fair price. Full bar and good service for an enjoyable dinner.

GREAT find!

By happyonabeach |

This restaurant was recommended to us by the staff at Best Western Plus (which was phenomenal-separate review). It was within walking distance of the hotel in a tiny plaza. What a find! Very intimate with limited seating and a small bar, but the entrees were unique and interesting, as well as, delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner as service was attentive, but not intrusive, and everything we tried was wonderful! Disclaimer....this review was originally published under Kathie E, not my correct reviewing platform so I am reposting.

A truly Italian pleasant surprise in Miami

By omunoz59 |

Excellent restaurant. A delicious pasta, well prepared. A very familiar atmosphere. The times when they serve very appropriate food and exquisite wine. The waiters are very quick to give the information you need. An excellent surprise. It's worth going.

Fantastic Dinner

By Beverly B |

Everything was great from the Caesar Salad to the Lamb Chops and the Seafood Di Mare. The staff was friendly and the service was great. Wish we had a restaurant near us like it, I’d go there every week! Don’t miss this place you won’t be sorry.

Worlds worst serice

By Jon A |

The food is fine for this abandoned area near the airport The waiters seemed to have crawled out from under a rock. They are tired - and tell you so - and could care less about taking care of you. If you want to feel unwanted. This is the place For you McDonalds has better service As we say in Italian #*¥!!!

Wonderful find after a long day of traveling!

By Nini807 |

This was a wonderful place you could absolutely miss if you were driving by, looking for a restaurant at night. Luckily, we were walking, having arrived at our hotel late-ish after going through passport control and customs at the airport. We were hungry and tired. My husband spotted the OPEN sign on the storefront of an otherwise nondescript row of shops, and when we stepped inside, it was clear that this was a HAPPENING place. We were told that there would be a 15 to 20 minute wait, and I am almost never willing to wait, but I am so glad the majority ruled in this case. There were 4 of us, and everyone was delighted with the food, even our uncompromising vegetarian, who was told they could prepare whatever dish he chose without meat or fish. My husband was similarly delighted with his carnivore's offering. The service was great and the staff were so helpful and friendly, even at the end of a long Saturday evening. What a nice surprise at the end of our trip!

Very good Italian!!

We are regular guest of this restaurant at 36th NW Steet. We never have been disappointed..Service and food are very good. Julio is our preferred waiter.

Very Good Italiano

By GeorgeMarina |

Wonderful Italian cuisine, near Miami Intl Airport. Fantastic service from waiters to host that make you feel at home. The appetizers were amazing, especially the Smoked Salmon beautifully presented wrapping Ricotta & other cheeses with a delicious salad. We followed with the Carrot Soup, balanced in flavor. Enjoyed the Risotto with grilled Shrimp & a Chicken Breast filled with Ricotta, Sun-dried Tomatoes. Prices are very reasonable for the quality.

Italian restaurant - a neighborhood gem

By Joan m l |

We were so lucky to find this little italian restaurant for dinner during our recent stay near Miami airport. Unlike the usual chain restaurants near airports, this is a real italian restaurant with charming atmosphere and delicious food. The restaurant is in an unassuming strip mall, but when you walk in, it looks like it could be in Italy. Many of the diners looked to be italian and/or neighborhood residents. The food is authentic and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Italian Is Fine

By Hereandthere913 |

Sometimes you have certain expectations when you are visiting a large city and you want to seek out that place that you will tell people about when you get back home. Tripadvisor had rated this place pretty well and since it wasn't too far from the convention center we were at we used Uber and got there just as they opened up. (Start using Uber for traveling and you'll become a big fan at it's simplicity and service.) I had black spaghetti with lobster sauce and shrimp. If I was Larry David all I would say is, "Eh!" But the result was good but not crazy good. I didn't get wowed by any special flavor appeal that was what I was thinking when this was the specialty of the night. The appetizer, Tuna Carpaccio was apparently typical in Miami as the next day I saw pineapple carpaccio on a salad bar at Texas De Brazil. And there's the problem. For a quick three day visit I was knocked over by Texas De Brazil and would probably go back there instead of Basillico....which was merely a slight push.

The Best in Miami

By Olga P |

This is a small restaurant in Miami Springs, but the food is awesome and the servers very friendly. I work in the area and I never have a bad experience. Daily specials, and large menu.. They offer fresh fish of the day and meats.

awesome dining experience

We were staying in the area to get on a cruise the next morning. We googled restaurants near our hotel and were pleasantly surprised. Tastefully decorated modern restaurant, menu with varied choices, and welcoming staff. Food was amazing as well as service. A definite not to be missed place.

Italian Restaurant "Basilico",Miami Springs, close to MIA-airport

By roboesGistel |

We were here for a last dinner in Florida before returning home to Belgium after a month-stay on the Gulf-coast . We chose this restaurant because we like Italian food, it was close to our BW-hotel and we found positive feedback in tripadvisor. The interior is cosy and tables have white napkins. The server made several suggestions but we had already decided on a Carpacio de Manzo to start, followed by a steak with pasta and grilled lamb. The carpaccio was near perfect : nice red, tender meat and the exact amount of shaved Parmesan -cheese and seasoning ; the Rucola was also excellent and not the bitter-one you often find ! In the meanwhile we enjoyed our bottle of Pinot Noir My "Tuscan steak" was served rare ( as ordered) and accompanied with roasted potatoes : the meat was very tasty and tender and the sauce delicious. My wife's Australian grilled lamb was also excellent and served with an apricot-sauce and parmesan-risotto ; the meat was tender but slightly more cooked than ordered ! Service all through the meal, was smiling and professional. All in all a perfect dinner to end our Florida-vacation.

Amazing food! Unique Italian trattoria style

By Cachediva |

Here for work but is a nice place for couples too. Everything was delicious! I am a picky foodie and I was impressed. Do not let the front of the space here deter you. It is nice inside and quaint. I ordered the arugula salad and the ravioli that had fig on it. So delish!!! Only thing I'd change is cook the sauce warmer. Perfect service. The guy was very nice. Try this place!

GREAT RESTAURANT

Great restauranr, excellemt food, great pricing,Luchiano, waiter is great, overal experience is over the top

Great food and place, but please be a careful diner here.

By BHUANG69 |

My friend and I stayed in a resort nearby, read the good ratings of this place and decided to come by for dinner. On a Saturday night around 8pm, we walked in without having to make a reservation. The place is full on one side and is nearly empty on the other side (the restaurant was divided into two major spaces). We ordered the food and were both very happy with it. I had the 12oz skirt steak, which was cooked to my liking. The vegetable on the side was superbly dressed. It tasted clean and wholesome. My friend had the seafood risotto house special. It is very aromatic and very well cooked too. We both liked what we ordered. I was a bit surprised when I received the final check. This is where you need to inspect. What happened was that they added an item "automatic tips" and you are "automatically" charged 18% for their service. I am fine with paying good tips for great work and effort, but there are two major problems here. First, I would like to be informed that I will be automatically charged for tips once I sit down. It can be verbal or there needs to be a easily visible sign somewhere. Second, the service was not a 18%-level service. It was not terrible but it does not meet the standard either. The waiter did not come by to ask how the food was. We had to flag the busboy down to add hot water to our cups and when he came, he only brought the amount enough to fill up a cup, not two. If it were up to me, I would reluctantly gave 15% for this 10% to 12% level service. As a result, I am assigning the "food" a poor rating, based on the amount that we were "automatically charged" and the real service rendered. Food is very good and value is average. Overall, this place is a high-3 almost-4 rating restaurant. I am assigning a 3 overall because I think the service could be better provided that we were charged 18% "automatically". The danger of a mandatory tips is that the servers could have a sense of entitlement without really trying hard to get it, in my opinion.

Good value

Basilico is a little hidden gem in the area. The food and flavors are fantastic and the service is spot on. It's a cute place to take a date or the whole family, Nice wine selection.

Tripadvisor steers us right... EXCELLENT RISTORANTE!

By BigJohnTexas |

My wife and I were staying in a hotel near the airport - on the strip - and were contemplating eating dinner there, since it saved us the effort of going out. I am so thankful that Tripadvisor is what it is. Within a few minutes of zooming around, I found out that one of the highest rated restaurants in Miami, a small Italian restaurant in a little strip center was within two miles. And now I know why it is so highly rated! Basilico Restorante caters to the locals. That was quite obvious when the almost every group that entered on the weekday evening was greeted with a hug and/or kiss. I asked our waiter what it took to get that kind of greeting, and he said he would need to know me a little better. It is too bad we don't live here, because within a short period of time, he would know me that well! After one of the best Caprese salads that we have had in a long time, I went for good old Frutti Di Mare with spaghetti. It was as good as I have ever had. My wife had a pasta dish with Italian sausage, arugula, and tomatoes, and ate it all, which is far from her norm. Folks, if you like eating Italian, as we both do, and you end up stuck for a night near the Miami airport, then get to this place for a meal. If you live in the Miami area and have not eaten here... it's your own fault. Because if you read the reviews, including this one of course, you have no excuse from not making this little restaurant one of your regular places to eat.

Excellent food and excellent service

By 64geoff |

This small restaurant offers excellent authentic Italian food, and the service was impeccable. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Very difficult to make a reservation. Bad Attitude. Good Food.

By paisaMiami |

There is no way to make a reservation online. They do not answer the phone during the day and you can not leave message with your reservation. You have to wait until they open an hour or two before you want to go. We got there 5 minutes before our reservation and they did not have a table available. The manager who has a little bit of attitude said we were 5 minutes early!!! The place its very crowded, the table are super close, you are practically on top of each other. The food was good, but we are not going back to that location. We can go to the other location at Doral where you can make a reservation, they answer the phone and don't have attitude. Who needs that?

Excellent

By Isabel I |

Went several times and this Valentine's Day. The fixed menu was out of this world!! Appetizer: tuna tartar, primo piatto: ravioli spinach ricotta with truffle sauce, secondo piatto: filet mignon and dessert: strawberries with zabaione. Yummy!!!!

Great dinning experience.

By JacknKathy |

We were laying over in Miami with a flight to catch the next day and our UBER recommended this restaurant. Boy were we surprised when the food came as it didn't seem like much when we walked in. Best meal we had on our hole trip. Excellent service. I just wish I lived near so I could go on a regular basis.

Best Meal of our Entire Florida Vacation

By Annette S |

The storefront of this Italian restaurant is somewhat deceiving as it is located in a strip mall and is not a stand-alone location. Don't let that stop you from dining there because they really know how to do Italian right!. Once inside, you will see white tablecloths and a beautiful wooden bar. The wait staff are all excellent as the service was top-notch. They were attentive, but not pushy. We asked how long they had been in business and the owner said more than 20 years. We each tried a different entree. I had an antipasto that consisted of a grilled portabella mushroom with a side salad of spring greens. The mushroom was stuffed with tomatoes and covered with prosciutto and melted cheese. Both the grilled mushroom and the side salad were drizzled with a delicious balsamic. My husband had the clam linguine and he loved it. The sauce was light with a strong garlic flavor that worked very well with the clams. My daughter ordered the spinach and cheese ravioli in a creme mushroom sauce. It was amazing and melted in your mouth--so good. This is how Italian is done! After the meal, my husband and daughter ordered cappuccinos and they disappeared very quickly. The restaurant had a good wine selection and the prices were reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling in Miami and staying near the airport.

Delicious!

By Mesbin |

While we were In Miami we ate here based on the reviews. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. The food was delicious. We will definitely eat here again when we return to Miami.

Nice little Spot

Stumbled across this place and we had some delicious pasta dishes. Gnocchi alla Gorganzola and the pesto linguini with shrimp! Yummy!

Valentines Eve

By KarlF |

There were roses for the ladies when we two couples had dinner at Basilico the night before Valentine’s Day. But the highlight of the evening was the food. Two of us had Gorgonzola stuffed ravioli with a pear and fig sauce. Ambrosial. Tiramisu was fluffy but,of course, caloric. Service was attentive and friendly – this is a family kind of white table cloth restaurant. A lovely experience on the evening before a flight from Miami international airport minutes away.

Late night dinner selection

By LIV4ADVENTURE |

We flew into Miami on a late flight, and this was located just down from our hotel. The atmosphere was very nice - dim lighting, small restaurant, cute tables. The service was less than appealing. They weren't rude, but it was clear there were favorites, and we weren't one of them being outsiders. Requested a semi-sweet red off their list, specifically not dry, since we didn't know their menu locally. Ended up with a cabernet, which was VERY DRY. Food was good, but nothing outstanding. Chicken on the Caesar salad was very dry. We weren't offered anything after our meal, but clearly there was a dessert menu as we saw others with it. It felt like we were being shooed out and no one said anything to us as we left.

Incredible authentic Italian!

By Charles D |

Hosted a business dinner at this location, and it was incredible. Started with the apps, fig and cheese prosciutto was awesome, the antipasto was spot on... salmon ceviche was very tasty. Had the pancetta fettuccine for the main course and it was fantastic. Truly one of the better restaurants I’ve been to in sometime. Beer and wine only.

Great Place to eat

By P DeRiu |

Went there for diner and was pleasantly surprised. The outside does not look very promising being a small place in an average strip mall location. But surprise the place has very authentic Italian food with the staff all having Italian accents . Always a good sign. The menu was vert traditional but also innovative at the same time. Service was prompt and courteous. The inside was tastefully decorated. The staff knew what they were doing . The food was fantastic and well prepared . You know it was good once you start taking photos of your plate and posting it on social media. It was like you were right in Bella Italia. Very good place to go , don't let the location fool you you will not be disappointed. I would go back again in a second

Quaint but Magnificent

By Roadtripgal5 |

Nestled in a strip mall, somewhat unnoticeable, but delightfully delicious! Service was professional and inviting to our two younger children. Menu offered many options. Food was truly delicious from the main courses to the sauces. Every detail on key. Just wonderful. Don't be fooled by its strip mall location, this is fine dining!

Best Italian food!!!

Even though this was a business trip this restaurant would be a great place to impress a date. The food was amazing and they treat you like family! This is a must if you are ever in the area!!!

Small, unobtrusive, with excellent faire

Small out of the way ristorante. White tablecloths and awesome real Italian faire. Super wait staff and service. Wine list is very good. If you desire Italian, not American Italian, this is a must go to place. Reasonable pricing.

Great Food Near MIA Airport

By Hunt901 |

My wife and I were staying at Candlewood Inn and Suites prior to catching a flight the next morning. Since the hotel has no restaurant we searched for nearby places and found Basilico Ristorante. It was a short walk from the hotel and in a strip mall. The restaurant is small and intimate. Doors opened at 6 PM and it filled up quickly. It seemed like most customers were locals and many regulars. My wife ordered a scallop nightly special in a nice sauce that she really enjoyed. I had wonderful lamb chops with risotto and a spinach salad. Prices were quite reasonable for the high quality we received. This restaurant is a gem and highly recommended.

very friendly ok food

By MikeBirdman |

A storefront restaurant in a small strip mall at the back of the airport. A really friendly family run restaurant. enjoyed the experience. the food was ok not stellar.

Very tasty and friendly service

By AHappyWander |

My boyfriend and I went tonight, we ordered a special shrimp pasta for starter to share, then a filet mignon and chicken stuffed with ricotta and sun dried tomatoes for mains. Pasta and steak were amazing, chicken was chicken (I was being less adventurous than usual today) but the flavour mix was great and I really enjoyed it. All meals were very reasonably priced and full of flavour. Our waiter was very friendly, service in its self is worth going back for :) We had the chocolate soufflé for dessert, I am so nervous ordering these / lava cakes in case of failure and there is no lava but I can tell you now - it was AMAZING and beautifully presented! Do it!!!!!

Surprise !! Very Good!!

By coni82 |

It was really a surprise! On my way to the airport I made a stop in a small Italian restaurant and it was a very good experience. Service was so good and very friendly. They offer a nice table despite we have no reservations. Excellent menu with specials of the day. Highly recommend this restaurant!!!

Building from the outside may give you mix thoughts but when you walk in, get service and taste the food, and you will be surprised Excellent delicious food with good prices. Absolutely worth it to go back again.

Fantastic Group Dinner

By Darren L |

Excellent dinner with a large group of friends. Across the group we tried quite a variety of items on the menu and all enjoyed. The service was great and we were able to make a reservation for our group a week ahead, so they were all set when we arrived. You might not think, given the location, that there would be such a large crowd on a Monday night - but it was full.

I look forward to eating here often while staying in a nearby hotel. The staff are friendly and informative, always helpful with insightful suggestions. The food is well prepared and consistently a high standard. I know when I come to Basilico I will leave happy.

I like neighborhood restaurants!

By Karen G |

This is a small restaurant, at the end of a strip mall on a busy street. Once inside it is quiet and smells delicious. Food was very good, waiters were friendly. Prices reasonable. We were in the area for a seminar and this was easy to reach from the Hilton Garden Inn West/Miami Airport. Didn't have to go through too much traffic.
