Oh my….so Delicious

By Jert T |

The hype is real! Not a bad thing on the menu… highlights for me were the duck prosciutto & the peppered noodles… but I can’t complain about anything I put in my mouth- oh… and the wine is also s’good.

Best Italian restaurant in Atlanta

Truly excellent Italian restaurant, excellent variety of mozzarella and sausages. We tried the mafalde, really very good. For now there is no comparison with other Italian restaurants

One of the best meals I’ve had in Atlanta

By Bcoop8 |

The food was some of the best, if not the single best, I’ve had in Atlanta. The service was top notch, and has surpassed much more expensive places in Atlanta that I have been to. Our waitress was knowledgeable, patient, and very helpful in making decisions on what types of mozzarella and other cheeses to get. Her recommendations were amazing. I would highly recommend the TAGLIERINO (small meat and cheese board) for 2-3 people. We also added on FATT' A MANO mozzarella at our waitresses suggestion and I am glad we did. It was a completely differently flavored ,but amazing mozzarella, than the one that came on the mini board. The Arancini was delicious. For the main course, she had AGNOLOTTI stuffed with squash and I had Spaghetti and both were amazing. For dessert we had a slice of the Layers of Lemon cake which was also amazing. Since we ordered the TAGLIERINO, FATT' A MANO, and Arancini before 6 it was all half priced. Total bill after tax but before tip for all that plus 1 cocktail and 1 limoncello was $145. Great deal for all the half off food. Very worth it. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone, especially any cheese lover. And if you don’t know your cheeses or Italian food, the staff is very knowledgeable and can help you make an excellent choice. Will definitely come back again. Also, highly recommend the valet vs parking yourself. Definitely worth the $5 cash plus tip.

Great Cheese and Meats

The cheese and meats are fantastic! I would be back just for that. The pasta is good but not amazing like I was hoping for, since they say it is homemade. I have trouble believing it is homemade. It did not taste homemade. Everything here is also very pricey. You order a drink and they charge you for soda. They should just charge extra for the drink and not break out the soda cost. The service here is very good and friendly and knowledgeable. I also have trouble paying for valet parking ($5.00 plus tip) when there is no option for self park. If you come to a restaurant to eat, you should not have to pay to park. Overall, this is a good restaurant, but there are limited choices and with the way they nickel and dime you for everything, I am not sure I would be back.

Opinion about the restaurant

This restaurant is incredible. The service is really good and the food is marvelous. And the restaurant is cozy and for every class of reunion. But personally I would recommend to go with friends.

Fatt Amano Cheese..... That's all you need but the rest was good too!

By soitgoes14 |

We popped in a little after five on a Sunday and sat at the bar. We received great service at the bar and the restaurant filled in around us as our visit wore on. This is in the old Bocado location. It is set up similarly but they did a great job making everything feel fresh and new. Bar service was fantastic. They got busy but our waiter/bar tender walked us through everything and was patient on our first visit. We were looking for a small bite so we made a board. We opted for two cheeses (Di Bufala & Fatt Amano) as well as on meat Finocchiona. The meat was fine. Enjoyable no better or worse than you would expect. Our board came with some crackers, olives, honey, and artichokes. All good. The cheese was excellent! The Di Bufala was good. Honestly if I tried it on its own I’d probably would have been quite happy with it but the Fatt A Mano was a show stopper. Fantastic! Also, we tried a couple cocktails and wine. All excellent! The two cocktails I got were rum based and I can’t recall their names, but both were excellent. Though one was a bit on the sweater side. I would definitely come back with more of an appetite and try other items but I don’t think I’ll ever not be able to resist an order of the Fatt A Mano cheese!

Bastone: mozzarella and wine bar

By ServingLooksATL |

Bastone is a mozzarella and wine bar serving up some delicious dishes in an intimate atmosphere in West Midtown Atlanta. My favorite part was the handmade pasta. I felt like I was at one big dinner party with friends. I ended my reservation by leaving a handwritten note in Bastone's red notebook full of customer experiences. This is the perfect spot for an impressive date night! Keep reading to learn what I tried at Bastone. My first course was a choice of mozzarella and a choice of salumi from the mozzarella & salumi bar. The mozzarella I choose was that fatt' a mano. It is made and hand-pulled in-house and literally melts in your mouth! For salumi I choose an eighteen-month prosciutto di parma. I loved the thinness of the slices. Next course was insalate, or salad. I choose the roasted broccoli caesar with anchovy and breadcrumbs. This dish was so good and savory that I forgot it was actually a vegetable. Last was the handmade pasta. I choose two. First was the casoncelli which had shrimp, ricotta, 'nduja. And tarragon. Then I tried the farro garganelli which had short rib, bitter greens, and almonds. I honestly cannot choose which pasta was best because they were both too scrumptious to the last bite! @ServingLooksATL : Showing you where to go next in Atlanta.

Great Food

Came here sort of last minute for dinner, and we're still able to get a reservation. We got immediately greeted & seated. We started with the meat & cheese board, which comprised for us buffala & burrata cheese, along with prosciutto & salami for meats. It was great. For entrees, we enjoyed the Agnolotti(short rib) & the Duck Lasagna. Both dishes were delicious to the last bite! Service was fantastic & prompt. As the place is small, parking is by valet, and only around $5. I'll definitely come back again.

Amazing! Delicious! Have to try this place!

Amazing! Everything was delicious! Our server Noah was awesome- he had great recommendations and we really enjoyed everything that was brought to our table. There are tons of great new spots in Atlanta to try, but we will be returning to this one over and over again. Truly a gem!
