Great view and great food and staff. The also have a fantastic happy hour with quite a few offerings from the Bay Area along with other very appetizing offerings. Great selection of beer, wine and liquor.

Much of this restaurant overlooks the marina, it's located directly below the patio. Outdoor seating is available around a fire table or poolside, and you can reserve specific tables to get the exact seating you want. We ate both lunch and Happy Hour meals here, were very satisfied both times. Service was very fast and friendly, the menu and specials were always explained quickly and accurately, no misunderstandings. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the location and even more so during Happy Hour, 4-7 pm. Worth noting, you can actually hear concerts (and the soundcheck) from Humphrey's next door, very clearly, and the tables along the edge of the patio adjacent to the hot tub actually have partial views of the stage! Seriously, we were able to hear an entire concert, for free while dining outside, unbelievable! Large portions, a great beer selection and quality food in a beautiful setting, it's all here.

We were staying at the hotel for the night and had dinner here before the concert. Nice views of the Marina. I had the fish tacos and a cup of clam chowder and both were pretty good. My wife wasn't too hungry and had the sliders which were also good. The have complimentary chips and salsa which was nice. The service was friendly and attentive. We finished up our meal with a carrot cake which we enjoyed. The meal kept us satisfied throughout the rest of the evening.

We had 3 breakfasts and 2 dinners here during our stay in San Diego. The wait staff was very pleasant and helpful. The food was good and hot, with a nice variety. I thought it was a little overpriced.

We enjoyed our breakfast at the club restaurant. Nice and fresh with a fantastic view. Non-happy hour drinks were expensive though.

We stayed at the hotel over Memorial Day weekend and chose the restaurant for breakfast one morning,. Indifferent service, cold food, warmed over coffee--I would not come back. Nice view of marina, comfortable seating. We did drop into the bar one night, and that was nice--large pours and excellent bartender. But I would not be in a hurry to eat there again.

We enjoyed several breakfasts here during our stay at this hotel. They offer a wide variety of choices and all were very good. We also ate dinner here two different times, both choosing lighter meals of salads or appetizers---all were excellent. I especially liked the way they prepared the salmon that was added on salads. Service was always excellent!

This restaurant is inside the Bay Club Hotel. We enjoyed Happy Hour half-priced appetizers, Nachos and quesadillas! The service was excellent and we appreciated that our server allowed us to move to a quieter area. In looking at the menu items available for lunch and dinner the pricing was very affordable. Beautiful views of the harbor.

That is the actual name of this eating establishment. We did order food to take back to our room (could just as easily done room service). Not an enormous selection but solid value and tasty food as well, priced very reasonably when you consider the location. No complaints here.

We are staying in the Bay Club Hotel and have eaten here 2 times. The dishes have been delicious! Ahi Tuna, bacon & shrimp Mac n cheese, fish tacos with salmon and the grilled salmon. Definitely worth it!!

Our friends took us for a birthday lunch. What a find! The view is spectacular, with large Windows overlooking all the boats in the marina, and the hills in the background. There is also outdoor seating. And of course there is the food. For lunch there were lots of choices of salads or sandwiches, including fresh fish. I had the tuna steak sandwich which came with a choice of salad, french fries, or fruit. The wait staff was very accommodating to any changes we wanted to make. The others at the table all had the grilled fish tacos, which that day was white Seabass. Everything was quite delicious. And since we were celebrating a birthday, they gave the birthday boy a choice of chocolate, carrot, or cheesecake, which of course came with a candle. It is rarely crowded here which means it's also quiet and you can hold a conversation and actually hear each other. All in all this was a great find, and we will be back.

I stayed at this hotel with a large group of friends. We had dinner here the first night and then breakfasts, lunches, and snacks the other days. Our food was always fresh and tasty and the service was superior. No complaints whatsoever. It was very convenient to have such a great restaurant at our hotel.

We ate every meal at this location, but the kitchen had problems half the time. Our first night we waited an hour for our meal. The next day, our lunch was timely, but my mom came in 15 minutes after us and had to wait 45 minutes.

First off the staff is great, bar selection is decent with a couple locals on tap which is nice. The food though is bland. Had the steak one night was decent. Good size but not packed with flavor. Other night I had the halibut. It was dry but again a good sized piece. Hotel is nice but there's to much within walking distance to eat at the hotel.

We ate several delicious meals here and they were attractively served. The wait staff was friendly and attentive.

We ate in the hotel restaurant because we were staying here and it was convenient. The food was average, not great, not bad. Service was very good.

Had a beautiful dinner. We had the grilled fish tacos. For a appetizer we had crab cakes which were delicious. Over all the everything was delicious.

Located on Shelter island near to the wharf, we found wine Wednesday to have the best values at happy hour. Bottles are 1/2 price as well as Appies from 4 pm to 7 pm. Located adjacent to Humphreys Hotel and stage where we were able to enjoy the live music of the Doobie Bros.

Almost every table has a view. Coffee is great in the morning, breakfast menu is good too. Happy hour - can't beat the prices.

John was awesome. If I had to complain about anything it would be that the bat closed early. The food tasted great.

We were staying at the hotel that the Quarterdeck Restaurant is located in. I am usually skeptical of restaurants in hotels, but this one did not disappoint. First, there are great views of the marina. Second, the staff are friendly and attentive. Third, the food is very tasty. We had a burger, the nachos with chicken, pancakes, the scramble with bacon, ham , and onions, and other breakfast dishes. We learned to split dishes because the portions are generous. We highly recommend Quarterdeck!

Monday through Friday, have a Happy Hour that is not to be missed! Friendly, efficient staff, and great food.

Waited almost an hour for breakfast order; others came and got their food much faster. When we finally got it, it was cold. When given the check, server asked how everything was, and we told her. She said she would have sent it back if she'd known it was cold, but we told her she never came back to ask. She deducted half off the bill. It probably was a one time mistake on her part.

Had a group of 9 and while the food was great, eat plate served hot, etc - it took over an hour for us to get our meal. Staff never made an attempt to explain, we always had to ask for updates.

John is so funny! Really enjoyed chatting with him and loved his humor. And the tall guy too. The bar configuration provides a really nice social atmosphere.

We spent a comfortable night at the hotel on our way back from Hawaii, and we ate breakfast in the grill the next morning. We both ordered the Sailor's Delight (two eggs any style, fresh fruit, bacon and toast. The eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly, and our server rustled up some good salsa for the eggs. Our server was friendly and efficient. The coffee was also very good, and we began our day of travel sated and happy.

Really everything is great- filet mignon, salmon, etc. Breakfast, luch and dinner are always great. Nothing to dislike.

Stopped to see some friends after an event and got excellent service. Sat outside on the patio and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. The server was attentive without being bothersome. The windscreens kept the temperature acceptable without a jacket. Nice atmosphere to sit and talk with friends

Do you want a view of the San Diego bay and Marina as well as good drinks and food? Then this hotel restaurant on Shelter Island for 31 years is the spot for you. The lobby area dips down into an open bar/cafe, part of which is the small Quarterdeck Restaurant on the right side. During happy hour this open space can become noisy, but at lunchtime there are sweeping views and a crowd of older regulars enjoying the seafood and Mediterranean menu. As my friend and I shared a baked crab cake (3) starter, a huge Cobb salad, and Potuguese chicken kabobs over wild rice, we left no room for dessert, but lingered over this delicious lunch and sipped sangria made to order on the hottest day of the year. Yum!

overlooked at each turn; salad was late and dinner was served a moment later, had to ask for the check after long wait, filet overcooked, delivered the mushrooms for the steak after dinner.

We took advantage of the free hot breakfast both mornings during our stay at the Bay Club Hotel & Marina, and had lunch here too. The fish tacos were some of the best I have ever had, and a simple grilled cheese sandwich was also very good. The prices are reasonable, especially for a hotel restaurant. They are under renovation at the moment though, so expect some minor inconveniences.

We had our two twin grandsons 8 years old, and they opened their arms to the boys. They catered to them which was good since it was kind of a fancy restaurant.

Perfect place, by the beach, close to the airport, also Old town San Diego. Lot's of places to go. Great food and service!

I had breakfast here every morning (4). Beautiful view. Food was excellent and came fast. I had a small dinner here when I first arrived and it was very good. For my last night in town I had an expensive dinner here but it was very tasteful and artistically decorated.

It is more about the view than the food. ON the recommendation of the waiter I had the fish and chips and they were good and a decent portion. The coleslaw was very finely chopped cabbage and it was delish.

The Quarterdeck did a wonderful job serving our large (20) family at lunch. Accommodated us with a table arrangement in a semi-private area. Wait staff got every order correct, kept our drinks filled and were patient and helpful.

We have had numerous one night layovers in San Diego and choose Bay Club Hotel and Marina every time. The in house resturant is so convienent, wonderful quaint atmosphere, fantastic view, food is great and reasonabllly priced. Bay Club will continue to be our first choice.

Service was friendly and prompt. Attached you will see the menu. Food was your average breakfast foods with no gluten free bread option but they gave me fruit instead,

The Quarterdeck,a small indoor/outdoor eating area adjacent to the Bay Club Bar and Grill, provides fine dining at reasonable prices. There are linen clad tables indoors and balcony tables outside. The only difficulty is during Happy Hour when the adjacent bar is going strong and the noise can overtake early diners. But the food, price and view of the bay is worth it -- or go later in the evening. Service can be slowish at times, but wasn't during the most recent visit.

the food and wait staff were great. They made every attempt to ensure we were satisfied. They were willing and ready to tend to all of our needs

very friendly staff with great orderves and prices for happy hour right on the water....If there is a concert next door at Humphreys you may want to reserve a table

Food was good. Prices are California prices - but it is in the hotel so it is convenient. John and Brian - the bartenders were great. Sarah the waitress was prompt and courteous.

The flavor of the meal and the service was outstanding! Happy hour drinks were delicious and the ambience was romantic.

Great breakfast, lunch and dinners - and top notch service. The variety is great and one can easily have a great meal, even if you are on a special diet or have dietary restrictions.

We had lunch and dinner at this restaurant. The bartender was incredibly friendly, as was or dinner waitress. We had an appetizer dinner. Buffalo wings were delicious, coconut shrimp were delicious, and the cheese and bacon smothered fries were delicious. Loved the view looking out over the marina. Thank-you for the friendly service!

I went there for lunch. The restaurant was empty. As I walked into the restaurant, none of the staff was greeting me, they just looked at me...until I asked if they are open. Only thing I like was the view, food and service were alright.

Great Restaurant and Bar at the Bay Club Hotel . Fantastic service . Great views of the Shelter Island Marina . Food was very good . Highly recommended .

A Bay Club Bar and Grill breakfast is the perfect way to start the day. Delicious and very reasonably priced. In particular, the build-your-own omelette was a treat.

I stayed at the hotel. Sat in a bar, ordered drink while waiting for the salad to take out to my room. Drink was great (Mermaid something???) and salad was well, "salad":) Salad was (I thought) away too over priced though.

A nice menu selection and great happy hour. Recommend the lunch, dinner and appetizers. You can sit with a fantastic view of the marina or in good weather outside on the patio.

Small cozy bar and grill. Happy hour prices on drinks and starters. Ending up staying in there for a light snack for dinner. Service was very good.

Due to a last minute change of travel plans, we found ourselves in San Diego. We decided to try out the Happy Hour and were warmly welcomed by John the friendly and efficient barman. If I was the owner of a bar, I would want this man for an employee. He ran the bar well, greeting locals who drop in by name and making visitors feel at home. In between this he dashed between the kitchen and the bar to drop off or deliver orders. We enjoyed talking to Mike, a local fellow golden retriever owner. We also chatted with other friendly yatchies who'd popped in for a drink. A range of drinks and appetisers at half price encouraged us to sample more items. Seafood was very good - try the chowder or the ahi tuna. Yum! Breakfast was good too, good choice and great staff. Oh, and the views are great, too. Water views both sides.

There tuna sandwich was to die for and worth the trip in itself!! Nice little bar and friendly staff!

Located in the hotel of the same name the food choice were very good and the food excellent. We had an early dinner and a breakfast and both were great and the prices very reasonable. Service was very good. Highly recommend eating here. Chilkdren do well here too.

Stopped by for a glass of wine with a friend and stayed for their light dinners offered in the bar area. Good food and service at a reasonable price.

Good happy hour prices and John the bartender is great but very slow service and very unfriendly manager named John who is not nice to his staff nor very friendly towards customers.. We had the unpleasant opportunity to witness him yelling at customers because they questioned him about service. Not a good plus for this establishment.and we will not be back because of him and have warned other people about his rudeness. I doubt if the man can even smile. Other wise the staff was great. The food yummy with good prices' Very small pool so if you are a swimmer don't expect much. Great view of the marina and a beach across the street with a great view of the city. Close to the airport and destinations in San Diego. But truthfully I would only stay there if the other hotels on the island are full and beware of the night bar manager. We suggest the Kona Kai .which has an excellent staff and wonderful management that actually caters to you and makes your visit super enjoyable that you want to come back to.

Great place, had a romantic weekend where I proposed to my girlfriend and afterwards had great sex! We saw a concert in the evening and enjoyed more of the night at the bar.

We ate here several times for breakfast and one dinner. Food is basic but satisfying. Drinks are good. Service is outstanding. It is not the place you go for a gourmet dinner but a satisfying meal at a reasonable price.

Shared by the boats in the marina, this little restaurant with the view does a brisk business. I ate here for several meals and wasn't disappointed. The servers were friendly and the bar is in the same area if you want a drink.

Assume that whatever you order will be mediocre and unseasoned. Assume that it will take an inordinately long time to arrive. I know it seems convenient, but don't do it. Additionally, happy hour 1/2 price drinks does not apply to soda so if you are being nice to your kids, watch out for their 8 ounce root beer to set you back $3.

Loved the view and the service at the Bar from John the Bartender. He was super friendly, funny and provided great service and drinks. The food it mediocre and could use some help. Ordered the Cajun Pasta and really didn't enjoy it, need more variety. Service was awesome but food needs help!

One of the things we love here is that breakfast is included each morning. It is buffet style with Patrick serving up the food and the laughs. We also had lunch & dinner meals and the food & service was up to the high standards set at this hotel.

We had breakfast here and enjoyed it. Nice comfy place to start the day Good service, good view Casual experiance

On a week night in October this was a very quiet restaurant with good service. The food was excellent (home-made style hamburger with excellent beef), fries and salad. Service was good. View was of boats sitting in marina - nothing exceptional. We did return for a second meal on a different day so we did like it.

Average but expensive hotel food when you add the a la cartel items. Unable to accommodate requests for gluten free breakfast.

Food was good, not a lot of menu choices. Beautiful view of hundreds of boats in the marina. We had a fluffy omelet and corned beef hash & eggs - both prepared well and tasted great!

We stayed the night here which was located right next to Humphreys where we were going to see a concert that evening. The hotel was nice and clean and the bar and restaurant were average. They do have great views of the harbor and beach. We got the dinner package which included the room and dinner. The dinner was below average, but the room was great. What was great was that we could walk next door to the concert at Humphreys. Overall, a good experience.

Very attentive staff, great presentation of food and never rushed if you want to stay and linger for visiting with friends or discuss the upcoming or future meeting.

Food is over-priced and unless John is at the bar working, don't count on being served in an efficient or friendly manner. Breakfast was horrible. We were the only customers sitting in the waitress with the long blond hair's area. It took 10 minutes for her to bring our ice water and menus, and then she never offered coffee. She disappeared afterwards and we finally flagged down the dishwasher and requested coffee and condiments. Our orders - two for breakfast - took about 20 minutes. When one of the bussers walked through the swinging kitchen door, we saw our waitress standing in the kitchen, reading the white board and yawning! FINALLY our food came out and it was cold. We were charged $2.50 for a cup of coffee that tasted like mud. Will not eat here during our stay at the hotel which is kind of sad...

Loved my chicken dish. Views from table were so good but noise level was a level high. Everyone having a good time, though and service was very good to great.

Great staff, good food, nice room, great view. Free and strong WiFi. Everything about this place exceeded expectations.

We had room service one night, when we didn't feel like going out. We had the Jumbo Prawns - which were like rubber and not seasoned The spicy pulled pork sandwich - not spicy and very boring, the fries were soft and no salt on them The club sandwich - was ok, the fries had the same problem as above... Eat somewhere else, the are several good restaurants in the area

Had breakfast. Good food and great view. Service was a little slow . The food choices were good. Wife is gluten free and they had some choices for her. Corned beef hash was a good choice, reasonably priced.

I thought it might justbe me but I heard the visitors at the table next to us say we would like our food hot this time". We had to send back 2 meals of our dinner parties meals.

Our neighbor used to have his boat here and knows the staff well. I went with him one evening for drinks. The bartenders, John inside and Dan outside, are quick with a drink and some wit, and that made the experience all the better. The outside area adjacent the pool is a nice place to hang out on a warm evening. Over the deck rail is the southwest portion of the Shelter Island Yacht Harbor. Always enjoyable viewing the boats. If you're out on Shelter Island, give this place a try.

Happened to find The Bay Club Hotel on hotels.com because I needed something decent and close to the airport. This place for the bill. As I didn’t want to leave the hotel, and didn’t have a car anyway, I opted to try the in-house restaurant, Quarterdeck. Food was really good and the service by Ryan was very attentive. I was dining alone, but that didn’t phase him and his great service made a big difference. Tomato Bisque (recommended by Ryan) was terrific, and the Pork Chop was good, except it was covered in some sauce I was not expecting. Regardless, it was delicious and just what I needed.

absolutely the best tasting food - why leave your motel!! with so many places to choose from, after a long day of sight seeing - just go back to the hotel, and enjoy the best food around.

Food is very reasonable priced. Food was served hot and presentation was very nice. The service during happy hour was slow, however that was the only time. Morning breakfast is very good for a complimentary meal.

We enjoyed eating here. We could have walked to some of the more notable restaurants, but loved the service and the view from here. Nice people

We had dinner at The Quarterdeck before attending a concert next door. The restaurant had a good selection of seafood and meat dishes. The ground prime rib burger and taco salad were very tasty. They have a happy hour with $1.00 off beer and house wines and reduced prices for appetizers. We enjoyed their coconut shrimp and their clam chowder soup. We stayed at the hotel, so we paid for our parking. You might be able to park free across the street (we did once before when we attended a concert at Humphreys), but you should check to make sure it's ok.

We ate at the Bay Club Bar and Grill after a super busy day. We were all just exhausted and needed a good meal. But this restaurant went above and beyond because we not only got a good meal, but were all able to unwind in the relaxing atmosphere. We were seated outside around a table top fire pit on a balcony overlooking the bay. It was great and we are ready to go back! The waitress was super sweet and went out of her way to meet our dining needs.

This is part of the hotel on the water. They have a nice small quaint bar. the food is above average and they have good service.

My husband and i were staying at the hotel next door and wanted to watch some football and grab a beer before we were off to whatever activity we had planned next. Well needless to say we never made it to the other activities because we ended up sitting at the bar from 3pm-11pm . We had drinks and appetizers, and entrees. Everything was amazing. I highly recommend the Asian salad. The bar tenders switched shifts halfway through our visit but they were all so nice and welcoming we didn't want to leave. This was a great place to eat and hang out!

Stayed at hotel, great for breakfast, had dinner and happy hour, with 1/2 of appetizers and $5 off seafood app, cheap wine and beer til 7 pm. Great clam chowder. Small with small staff, and service can be slow if large groups but good reasonable food.

This is fair food with barely fair service. They have an agreement with boat slip owners which generates liveaboard boaters hanging out at the bar for hours.

great atmosphere, love that its by the water and so refreshing, pool at the restaurant and very family friendly ! will be returning

The view is wonderful. You can see Point Loma !! It's on the water. The food is good and service always pleasant. Great cocktails too.

We had their Calamari and mixed drinks. The view of the marina was very pretty and the Calamari was excellent. Go during the happy hour and the Calamari is half off.

Sorry Bay Club, we were not impressed with the food at your restaurant. It just was not that good. You do have great views though.

The Bay Club Bar and Grill is part of the Bay Club hotel property on Shelter Island. Good bar, good drinks, friendly staff, good food, and good generous breakfasts for hotel guests. Outdoor seating by the pool enables you to enjoy the Humphrey's concerts next door during the summer.

Are you in the mood for an open bar meal? Do you want an intimate dinner for two with a view? Both are available at this hotel restaurant on Shelter Island in one large open space. Immediately off of the lobby there is a large open square bar whilte a few steps up in an intimate space with about 10 tables. A huge bank of windows forms one long wall that looks over the yacht club part of the bay and to one side a balcony provides outdoor seating. There is a wide variety of drinks and brews available and the food with Mediterranean overtones is tasty and appealing presented.

We ate breakfast there twice. The staff was very friendly and the view wonderful right next to the yacht harbour. Prices are ok, portions big enough.Service quite quick.

Stopped for happy hour after driving in. With happy hour (M-F 4-7pm) it was reasonably priced. Beers were a little on the expensive side. View was amazing with a large glass window that overlooks the marina. Food was tasty and well presented. Staff was ok. Nothing notable. It they seemed distracted and didn't put in the extra little touches.

What a bargin! This restaurant was so good we returned for a second night. My family is picky (Mom, Dad, Sister, and Brother). Everyone was delighted. The prices is medium (14 to 19 dollars per entree), however it was like eating in the very top restaurant in San Francisco or New York. Super bang for your dinner dollar.

Nice restaurant with a view. Good prices. Delicious food. Enjoyed the crab cakes and short rib dinner. Very relaxing atmosphere.

Dessert and Coffee or tasty alcoholic beverages on the patio overlooking the marina and if you are lucky, catching a performance going on at Humphrey's for free.

We can’t say enough good things about this place. L&I hosted a 30th wedding anniversary here. Sales staff, wait staff were all great. But we were most impressed with the food quality and presentation. Good friends recommended this pace and eat here often. We can see why.

A year ago I wasn't very impressed with their food but there is definately an improvement. During my recent stay I enjoyed the Swordfish dinner. It was the best meal of my 3-day San Diego visit. I noticed some new faces & they were all very attentive & professional. Great job , Bay Club!

We stayed at the hotel next door, Humphreys, and ventured in here one evening for a meal. The restaurant had some great views of the harbour on one side and the beach on the other. The interior was quite plain but very neat and tidy. It lacked a bit of atmosphere as no background music or hustle and bustle. We went midweek so it might be a bit busier at weekends. I had the steak and my wife had a local fish. Food well presented and very tasty if a bit bland. Although the restaurant was not very busy the food took a while to arrive but we were not in a rush so not to bothered. Both servers were pleasant without being overbearing. Overall reasonably priced meal.

I love dining in the grill, great food! The bar area is pleasant and has a great happy hour! Great staff!

right on the beach and board walk. but its still private so you dont have to deal with the people walking by. they had a great bloody maria (instead of a bloody mary.) great staff. you can bring dogs on the patio which i loved. beautiful location and scenery!

We only had happy hour and appetizers here, but everything was well prepared. Great service, and beautiful view of the marina.

Many hotels do not have a good restaurant open for lunch. This one is not only open for lunch but has a great view whether you sit inside or out. I am a local and bring friends her for lunch and they are always surprised it is here!

My Wife and I stayed at the hotel recently and ate breakfast there almost every day. We also had early dinner there one day as well. The food was very good and well priced and we ate outside on the patio deck overlooking the Shelter Island Yacht Club. We had several different servers and they were all attentive and personable. We have been staying at the Bay Club Hotel for many years, but have come to appreciate their dining options more recently.

Great place to entertain friends during our stay here. Nice happy hour appetizers Well prepared entrees & reasonably priced

We ate here the night we arrived for a 4 day stay. It was mid-week when most restaurants in the area close at 9, they were open until 10, and this worked well for us. The food was good and was certainly adequate, just not great.

My granddaughters wing tips were so hot she couldn't eat them. The waitress did take that off our bill. I had to ask for our server to come to our table twice. When she did serve us she was fluttering around. Forgot my wine. Forgot the shrimp appetizer. The coconut shrimp was over cooked. The sauce wa terrible. The location is nice but all restaurants on shelter island have a nice view.

I recently enjoyed lunch and dinner at the hotel's restaurant while visiting San Diego and staying at a different hotel for a conference. The bar area adjacent to the hotel lobby has a wonderful view of the marina! I was told it was recently remodeled. I enjoyed the daily special for lunch, red snapper - which was delectable, and returned for an excellent filet mignon during dinner on another day. Also notable is the garlic butter and bread served with meals which is really good! Meals were served timely by enjoyable staff and I enjoyed the wonderful view of the bay at Shelter Island. There are several televisions in the bar area for catching the game. I will definitely be returning here on my next trip to San Diego.

This is a restaurant located inside the Bay Club hotel on Shelter Island. They have outside dinning on the patio which overlooks the boat docks. It is also next to Humphrey's which also has Jazz concerts. Food is great, service is great.

We had dinner here one night and the second night, we had drinks and small plates. Everything was great, well prepared, fresh and service was prompt and pleasant.

Booked as we saw squid steaks on online menu. Didn't have them. Long wait for food which came on cold plates..suggesting food had been sitting around waiting for the server perhaps? seared tuna was stone cold in the middle and quite unpleasant. Sent it back for a flash/heat up. No empathy or apology from server...would not recommend.

appreciated the free breakfast buffet. the bar area dining was very noisy but made up in viewing and food.

Daily breakfast was average. The view was beautiful overlooking the marina. We purchased breakfast with a package otherwise we might have eaten elsewhere for variety.

We had breakfast and later on, drinks at the bar. Breakfast service (and later the bar) was very fast and very friendly. Compared with other restaurants on Shelter Island, prices were a bit lower and I'd have to say it's a huge value. You get very good food and drinks with a nice view of the marina, from inside or outdoor seating.

We had a bottle of wine in the restaurant after check in and it was tasty and reasonably priced. In the morning we had a delicious breakfast. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I have a mixed review. The food is Very good and prices are fair. They were short staffed (especially knowing of a conference in town). Waited a long time for service. Ran out of desserts, told us the fire table was not working when it was. The waitress we had most of the time worked very hard to accommodate the kitchen timing (great job Marissa)!!!! Has beautiful scenery

The food and drinks and staff were great. The venue was quiet - not many people when we were there. Great view of the marina.

This is the restaurant for the hotel of the same name. It has nice views and most of the patrons are the guests. Food was good, nothing out of the ordinary at ok prices. Has a very nice view of the bay

Had drink and appetizers over looking the bay. Food was good and it was happy hour so everything was half price. Would recommend doing the appetizers rather than a heavy supper.

One of the things that the USA is usually renowned for is prompt customer service. I am sorry to say that this was sadly lacking last night. After having been on the road since 7am and sitting down to eat at 8pm I was in no mood for delays, that's what the I5 is for. The Maitre D escorted us to a table looking out to the harbour, nice view and could see the nightly fireworks from the seaworld centre. A waitress dropped off 2 menus and promptly disappeared. The default setting would have been to ask us what we wanted to drink, but know she was gone in a flash. After pondering the menu we were ready to order, 1 waitress was at the bar having a drink and chatting to a customer the other 2 could not be seen. Note, the place was not busy. 10 mins later we caught a waitress who informed us that somebody else was waiting on us, evidently not. The food was great, plentiful and well presented. I don't mind paying a gratuity when it has been earned but you are automatically stung here for 18%! At the end of the bill there is also a line to add a tip? If I was going to give a tip based on our service, it would not have been 18% of our bill. To close this we had better service from Emma Jeans roadside diner earlier in the day.
Pleasantly Suprised
Both my wife and I had dinner here and were expecting hotel food. I was pleasantly surprised with my Salmon. It was flaky and tasty. We both enjoyed our meal and food it reasonably priced for the area.
