The service from Sol has been great every morning, and the breakfast sandwich is delicious. A great spot to stop for food and drinks.

This a great spot to end your day. Tania is an amazing bartender. She is super friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our drinks and our food. We highly recommend stoping by for a drink and food.

This is a hidden gem...I almost missed it if we weren't staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. Great food. Fun little menu. Staff was nice and welcoming, allowed us to pace the service which was great as we were on a family fun trip. We had both breakfast and appetizers at this place. Both experiences were great. I would go back if I am in the area again.

Great for a late night dinner. Tanya was a great host and had awesome recommendations! The pesto chicken is absolutely delicious.

I am in town on business and walked by the hotel, decided to go in because of the happy hour sign. The experience couldn’t have been better, the wine selection was great and so was the steak frites. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, next time I am in town I am definitely stopping in .

This spot has great service and great food. I am staying at the Homewood for work and enjoy each time I come in for a bite to eat. Jason was awesome in particular.

Went for lunch while my husband worked.😊I order what they called a Grilled Cheese on their menu. Different from the traditional grilled cheese; this one had mozzarella cheese, mortadella and pickles. Great combination of flavors. If you had a”Cubano “ Or cuban sandwich is what it tasted to me. Served with lots of season fries. It was really yummy!! Thank you Sol for some great service.

Visited for Happy Hour. Fish taco was limp and anemic looking on soggy taco shell. Limes were dry. Ordered more limes and received more dried out limes. Chicken tenders were crisp on outside and moist on inside. Very nice. Good fries. Good old fashioned. Nice view of harbor to watch comings and goings of boats. Attentive waitress.

The food was awesome. Sol the waitress was very polite and attentive. Bartenders make the best drinks. I will eat and drink there again.

This is a great place for drinks and casual food. We stopped for night caps and Jason, our bartender, was super friendly and helpful.

This spot which sits on the corner where locals know the Chna Camp owned by Tom Phat survived over 50 years must be the best of all hotel establishment restaurants near Little Italy...the multi-layered grilled cheese which is called "grilled soup" paired with tomato bisque and is simply deeeelicious... and the apple cheesecake which came out warmed with sliced strawberries on the side left no trace on the plate...thank you to Tania for your amazing personal service...grand slam!!!

Sol was a wonderful and kind server. The food was good, but Sol made it even better. She’s so kid and helpful. This was a wonderful breakfast experience

Bought the same coffee, same size but the late afternoon coffee was about 50% more in price. Asked the server why and basically had a lame excuse saying it was a difference coffee. NO IT WASNT. I ordered the same coffee. If she gave me something different, that was her choice but it tasted exactly the same. A little bait and switch there. Should be illegal.

The staff here is AWESOME!! They are so friendly and attentive. The bar has good drinks and great food to munch on. The lounging areas are sooo comfortable with couches, chairs, and even games to play!

Great happy hour offerings, and 7 days a week. You don't see that often enough. We had the Spicy Drunken Shrimp app, it was delicious, not to spicy. A great place to enjoy cocktails and snacks. Must check it out.

I was famished after a morning stroll and popped in for a quick bite! Best burger and fries! My server, Sol, was precious!

We had a wonderful experience with Tania! She is our waitress this evening. Her attention to customer service is refreshing and welcoming! She has earned a PERFECT 10 for her customer service and attention to detail. It was a pleasant surprise and I hope the management realizes what a jewel of an employee they have! I had the burger and it was cooked to my liking! My wife had a wonderful peaches and berries salad with chicken that was scrumptious! And yes, we would eat here again!

We were there on a Sunday evening 5pm and they had trivia!! It was easy to play along and so fun to pass the time with drinks and friends. Plus it was HAPPY HOUR! Apps were great and service was friendly. Recommend checking it out!

We recently had a lovely family breakfast at Bayside Kitchen & Bar, where the service shone just as brightly as the morning sun. Our server, Sol, was the epitome of excellence, managing to be attentive and swift without ever seeming rushed, which anyone dining with a toddler can appreciate. We started our morning feast with an order of French Toast and the kids’ pancake for our little one. Both dishes were beautifully presented and tasted even better than they looked, which is saying something! I opted for an iced espresso, which was refreshingly robust, while my wife enjoyed a perfectly frothy cappuccino alongside a crispy side of bacon. What really set our experience apart was Sol's thoughtful service. She was wonderfully patient with our son, making sure his pancake was just right and even bringing a little extra syrup for him to enjoy. It’s rare to find someone who not only delivers great service but also genuinely adds to the joy of your meal. Bayside Kitchen & Bar, with its cozy ambiance and stellar staff, led by the amazing Sol, is a must-visit. We left with full bellies and happy hearts, already looking forward to our next visit.

Disappointing is a very mild term. I must say from the reviews I expected better. From the beginning of our experience service was poor. No water was brought to the table when we sat down. The prices on the menu include no salad, or bread, just the entree. I will say they have a very limited menu, so what they offer should be outstanding. It wasn’t . The food was cold and I don’t remember the server even checking on us. I see all these 5 star reviews and my 2 star rating is generous. I would not recommend nor would I return for free.

Bayside Kitchen & Bar does a great job every time. I come for work meetings every other month and I am always treated like royalty by the team there. Special shout out to Jason, Tania, and Sol who are great at what they do and always smiling and helpful. Thank you for making our visits more enjoyable!!

Great atmosphere and excellent customer service from Jason. Some coworkers and I stopped by to hang out for a few minutes and brainstorm ideas for the next day. A few minutes after we left I was standing in the hotel lobby. Jason came running into the lobby holding my favorite hoodie which I had left near my seat in the restaurant. It impressed me that he had taken the effort to find me instead of just tossing the hoodie in a list & found box. I sincerely appreciated that.

Tania was the best. Tania had excellent service and the food was great. The bloody Maria’s were delicious. Can’t wait to come back and see her.

This restaurant is located next to/inside the Hilton Garden Inn/Downtown San Diego. For the sake of time, we decided to eat here since we were staying at the hotel. I was a bit worried that it would be expensive because hotel restaurants often are, but t his was a great surprise. The food was delish. Prices were spot on. Good service. We were both pleasantly surprised with the experience and would definitely go back.

There are many places to eat around this area but I come to this place for the amazing staff! Jason at the bar makes delicious drinks and Tania is awesome and took great care of my family. My husband was craving a pasta and the cook even came out and offered to make him something! Chuy he said his name was. Awesome staff!! Thank you.

We had a great experience! Our server, Vee, was awesome! She had great energy and gave us good recommendations on what to order. We would definitely come again for the fun atmosphere and hospitality.

We ate dinner here and breakfast while staying at this property. Breakfast was stale bread, Raisin Bran with no milk, and empty juice containers. For $10pp. Lunch and Dinner menu was limited to 8 items - a few appetizers (chips, wings) a burger and a few other bar/airport food items. The burger was good but it took nearly an hour to come and the rest of the food was terrible. Lunch was $54 for a burger and chips/salsa and 4 drinks.

The service was perfect atmosphere was great. I had the fig salad with steak. Tania was my server definitely asked for her again. I will be back.

Sol was great very customer oriented, the food was good nice atmosphere. I had fish tacos and they were very tasty. They had other options too, the salmon was good

I am a Hilton Diamond member and have visited many, many Hilton properties all over the US. The bartenders at this hotel are the friendliest, helpful on suggestions (for their restaurant and restaurants that are walkable from hotel). I was on a work trip and looked forward to Jason knowing my drink each night. Also, he is engaged and works his butt off with a smile on his face!!! That type of service is very rare these days!!! Jason made me feel right at home! I will be back.

The Bayside Kitchen & Bar is one of my favorite stops downtown when I need a cocktail or bite to eat. Great design. Very clean. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. They provide excellent customer service and go out of their way to remember you & welcome you on a return visit. They have big screen tvs if you need to watch or catch the score of a game.

The food is great and the servers are even better! We had a 6 day cruise and stayed here at the connected hotel for two days first. When we got back, we were warmly greeted by the three servers that we had had before the cruise. They were friendly and kind and even remembered the drinks and foods that we like. I’ve never been treated so well or felt as welcomed as I did at Bayside Kitchen!

Hotel restaurant and bar with a Golden Girl theme. Great staff in the restaurant. Sol was fabulous! Pretty good location closer to Little Italy and the sea walk.

Very good Old Fashioned. Fish tacos. Beautiful presentation with very disappointing taste. Fish was tepid at best with anemic looking batter and soggy taco shell. Fries good. 2 huge chicken tenders very nicely done--crispy on outside and tender on inside. Served with dill dipping sauce. Limes for tacos were dried out. Asked for more and got more dried out limes.Nice setting. Attached to very modern, upscale hotel. View of harbor with ships coming and going.

In this restaurant there was very delicious breakfast, extremely friendly service in a quiet relaxed atmosphere. Special thanks to Virgie! For my husband's birthday we were surprised with a cupcake after breakfast and while watching the European Championship game Switzerland against Germany with free beer, thank you very much!

We tried the bomb tots, crab cake sliders, BKB burger, and our kids got the chicken tenders and mac and cheese. Everything was so delicious. Tania was so friendly and helpful. We will be back for sure!

Came for trivia night (which is held each Sunday). Had some appetizers including Chips & Salsa, Chipotle Shrimp, and Truffle Fries. None of it disappointed! The trivia was engaging, staff was so attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxing just as it should be down by the Bayside. Def. coming back again!

I spend one week a month here and look forward to seeing Jason. He goes above and beyond for his customers. Without Jason, this place may not exist as he has created relationships with his regulars that cannot be replaced.

The food and service at Bayside is very good! We had Huevos Rancheros and it was delicious. Our server was Sol and she was so delightful and friendly! We will definitely return and hope to see Sol again.

Great food, good service, in a fun, comfortable, clean setting. My wife and I had lunch which was really good, the burger was really big (had 2 huge patties) as was the chicken sandwich we ordered. The overall feel and vibe of the restaurant is fun and cool, with shuffle board outside and a wide variety of seating options; we totally forgot we were in a hotel. Draft beer list was solid, although not extensive, it had some good choices. Service was prompt and friendly, overall a great lunch!
