Cute Place!

By 377julietr |

Found this place on google and decided to give it a try. Loved the decor and ambiance. The best thing is that you can see the open kitchen and I loved that 3 out of 4 were young women chefs! The food was fresh and tasty. The Americano coffee was delicious! Would definitely go back.

A very nice meal

Happened by chance to have dinner at Beakers and Grey, Wynwood. Very friendly service and great food. Very delicious meal for all four of us. One of the appetizers were so good that we ordered seconds. Reasonable prices for excellent quality.

Underwhelming Happy Hour

By Nicole R |

This was my second time at this bar. My first visit was very pleasant, and went away satisfied that I had another happy hour location to rely on. My visit today was not so good. I give Beaker & Gray two thumbs up for their $5 cocktail/beer/wine selection for happy hour. Wine was a generous pour and a very good quality. Unfortunately their $5 plates are something I would be embarrassed to serve. The crudite "root vegetable" dish was just silly. None of the vegetables had been cut as though they were meant for an actual dish; they more closely resembled farm animal fodder. I separated the randomly sized pepper pieces and when the bartender took the plate away he asked if I was through. I tried to politely mention they didn't seem fit to actually serve and was told "they're just red peppers". He's not wrong and I am fully aware it was just a $5 happy hour dish but point is if you don't care about a dish don't bother serving it. Used to really talk this place up but it's not worth going back. TL;DR solid happy hour prices for booze but don't bother eating

Birthday Celebration

By Lourdes Companioni |

Terrible experience, the food was not good at all, it was very salty, the waitress started saying they were closing at 4 pm instead of explaining the restaurant concept and different options in the menu. It was a reservation for my Birthday, so they knew the reserved table was for an special occasion, I felt really bad, and I ended paying the bill because it was extremely expensive and every body was so unhappy that we ended up hoing to another restaurant after that.. I asked for a burger and is was so salty that I couldn't eat it..and the bill was over 600.00 dollars..I advised others .. so you can think in a better option when looking foe a restaurant..

Beaker & Gray

This was our first time visiting this establishment. Went for brunch. Food was high quality. Average portions, tasty and unique combinations. Service was good. Would definitely go back here.Server and chef attentive to allergies. I appreciated that. Also flexible.

Great food and service

By Mr_Review |

This little spot is great to come and unwind for lunch or in the afternoon after a long day. The good is great and the people here are very nice.

Great local restaurant/bar

By deesroses |

The drinks are always delicious and you can’t beat the food. You could also walk to other places around that area.

Wonderful food and service

By rosew704 |

We came here for our last lunch in Miami and it was great! No ask was too much for the staff who clearly knew the menu really well. The food was really great and the inside decor is lovely!

Great Tapas restaurant in Miami area

By dondescough |

We stopped here for dinner the week before Christmas- not much of a wait- we chose to sit outside- It was our first or second night in Florida and to be a little chilly was better than snow! Our server was very helpful in his suggestions- we had quite a variety for the 5 of us in terms of drinks and dishes

Fun place with wonderful service !

By Sancurly |

This review is long overdue. Went with some girlfriends for dinner on a Thursday and all tables were taken! So we decided to sit at the bar. Food was fantastic, drinks were delicious and our bartender was fabulous! I wish I’d remember his name. He recommended drinks and appetizers and I’m glad we followed his advice. We will definitely come back !!

Worst Food Ever

By acmiami182018 |

Went for lunch with friend had the steak and ribs everything comes in a small dish and look like a stew no good we got both sick with diarrhea.

Beautiful Wynwood location- Delicious cocktails

By michaely777 |

Great place to grab a few cocktails and some laughs. Beautiful decor, and wonderful service. The plates are a little on the small side so order accordingly.

Really loud rap music

By mcg1001 |

This restaurant feels more like a bar, especially given the volume of the rap music that was playing. If that’s your thing, fine, but it wasn’t ours and it was so intrusive that we left without ordering.

Best food I’ve had in a long

By marco1234_2011 |

Best food I’ve had in a long time. Great flavor, great setting, loved the music and outdoor seating. Really fun.

Brunch in Wyndwood

By Rachel D |

Great place for breakfast brunch lunch! Very interesting menu, flavors and presentation were on point. Exelent service!

Actually good without trading on image

By SteveB834 |

After a few people said we should visit Wymwood whilst we were here, we grabbed an Uber and headed over. Couple of beers in a local brewery bar and it was time for a bite. Several of the places that TripAdvisor thought highly of were not accepting walk-ins and we stumbled upon Beaker and Gray. Let me preface this by saying we regularly eat at Michelin starred restaurants: The food here is fantastic! We had the Mongolian beef, burrata and the duck. All were very, very good. Better than the Chinese restaurant at a well known local hotel the night before that cost four times as much. Marcus was great, suggesting drinks and generally being awesome. If this place was on south beach you'd be recommending it to everyone. The places nearby with queues are trading on image. This place is actually good.

Not what I was expecting!

By teranel26 |

As a family, we were looking forward to a great lunch together however the hostess was not friendly at all. Drink order took forever, I ordered a coffee and was forgotten until I request it again. The meal took also a long time just for salad, appetizers and chicken sandwiches in a restaurant that was not busy. They actually deserve a poor review (2) but quality of the food was great. Roberto was great, he sure tried his best.

Sunday Brunch

By Lyta R |

Everything was perfect, food, ambiance, treatment. I would go back every weekend. The plates are perfect size and everything was super delicious.

Good meal and great ambience

By Hedra68 |

We visited B&G on NYE for an early dinner. The staff was great. Our hostess was extremely a accommodating and the wait staff made sure we were taken care of. The dining room has soft lighting and gray decor. Luckily for us, we were able to get a table right away before the midnight crowd. We absolutely loved the wild mushrooms, the shrimp and scallops tapas. The pumpkin gnocchi was a bit too salty for our taste even though it seams to be a customer favorite. Our drink orders took longer than expected given the fact that the restaurant was not full at the time which is why I gave the restaurant four stars instead of five. Regardless, this place is great if you are in the Wynwood area.

Loud, poor customer service

By Sabrina A |

The music is super loud, so unless you are prepared to scream I would skip, as it is is impossible to have a conversation. Food was ok, our only issue was the spicy mayo on an egg and bacon sandwich, as it was actually very hot not spicy. When we advised the waiter, the manager came and apologized. He offered to redo the sandwich, but we advised it was not w as the person had a stomach ache following the hot sauce. Up until there the review would have been good but unhappy that at 14h on a Saturday they only had a brunch menu available no lunch. The problem was that the manager came back to advice the menu stated the sandwich has spicy mayo..as to justify the excessive amount of hot sauce it had. Frankly, i personally eat rather often hot food, I tasted the sandwich... the mayo was hot not spicy.

Great Tapas

By Peggles75 |

Excellent service by Jacob and every dish was delicious. Favorite was the cheeseburger croquettes and the mushrooms. Can't wait to return. Mocktails were superb!

Very cheap administration

By JP Castro |

I came to this place to joint a party and while waiting I went to the bar and asked for a Dewars on the rock and YOU HAVE TO BE SO CHEAP TO USE A LITTLE CUP TO MEASURE THE SPIRIT YOU ARE POURING and only in a very places in Miami do this For me that was enough to realized this was a CHEAP PLACE and decided mot to go eat dinner there. I am not coming back ever

Fantastic! Unique and Delicious!

By MrBenWright |

This was one of the best meals that I ate while in Miami! The food is creative, unique and absolutely delicious. The restaurant has an open kitchen which is becoming more common but it was nice to see. I spent some time watching them cook and was very impressed to see how fast they made these absolutely delicious tapas. The chef and his staff are efficient and very friendly - they even took a few moments to say hello though they were very busy. Each dish that came out was better than the next. Oh and I almost forgot the bar! They have a spicy maracuya (passion fruit) drink which isn't on the menu that the bartender made for me! WOW

Unique and good food

By Amber E |

We really enjoyed eating at this place. We liked the unique taste of the foods. This restaurant serves smaller portion sizes that are perfect to share. We ordered multiple dishes with the group and this was the right way to go.

Will come back

By BikerKittyKat7 |

Brunch was amazing. I got the waffle sandwich and it was perfect, I recommend it if you like the sweet and salty flavor. It was perfectly crispy yummm. Bottomless mimosas are good too but they have a two hour limit. For desert the guava cookie with coffee ice cream is a must

Fit for foods with a cosmopolitan feel

By Shawn C |

Food once again was amazing. Creative and delicious. You can't go wrong. Desserts are OUT of this WORLD.

Extremely Overrated.

By Bfordtraveller |

Disappointed overall. The cocktails were great, and so was the service, but the music was too loud to hear the servers. More importantly, the food was overly salty and frequently overcooked or cold. The croquettes, for example, were served at room temperature and the sauce very salty. The scallops, on the other hand, were overcooked and chewy. Basically inedible. A sure sign the chef isn't paying attention. I can make better scallops at home! Given the price, etc, I was disappointed, to say the least. Also, the accessible bathroom is a storage closet! Sure, this place tries very hard to be hip and trendy but ultimately it failed miserably due to the poor food quality.

This place is a must!!!

By frez |

Came for lunch two days ago. As i don't hang around Wynwood area, never heard of it before. Oh Boy!!...our table of four ordered the Octopus Bowl upon recommendation of one of them. My God!..grilled octopus on a bed of Israeli couscous, with feta, cashews nuts, olive and micro-greens. A perfect balance of flavors that touched every corner of my palate!!....prices are reasonable,($19), while portions are satisfactory they might not be enough for huge appetites. Cocktails, wine and beer prices are lower than similar joints. Can't wait to go back.

Excellent!!

By Shanu K |

This restaurant is Tapa based. All the tapas we ate were better that the previous one. Food was delicious and service was excellent. Highly recommended!!!

Great happy hour.

By Almpt3 |

Great happy hour, music and good food. The wings, cheeseburger croquettes and the chicken skewer was great. Our bartender was really good as well.

Favorite Meal During 4 Day Stay

By Carrie M |

My husband said that the shrimp & grits were the best he’s ever eaten, which is saying a lot from this southern foodie.

Yum

By YourHelpfulWendy |

Cozy brunch spot in Wynwood that serves up delicious American comfort food. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with exposed brick walls, wooden floors, and plenty of plants. The menu features all your favorite brunch classics, plus new and cool things like the waffles with truffle oil that I LOVED!!! In addition to its delicious food, this amazing place also has a great selection of cocktails and mimosas. And the service is friendly and attentive.

Outstanding food and service.

By Brett Gosper |

Outstanding food and service. Relaxed and refined with personality. Buzzy atmosphere with a great vibe.

Forgotten Appetizer & Gigantic Cup of Ice

By Cory P |

Inside was so loud you couldn’t have a conversation so I sat outside. I got my cocktail 10 minutes after I ordered it. I thought the entire experience was a joke. After waiting for my $15 cocktail I was expecting something nice. I got a GIGANTIC cup of....ICE! It had some juice and some alcohol in it but for the most part it was just a gigantic cup of crushed ice that toppled almost over the glass as it peaked above the glass. I laughed as I thought it was a joke, however it wasn’t as I requested another cocktail I got it in about three minutes and it turned into Into block of ice in a smaller glass just with less alcohol and more juice. When I ordered my cocktail I ordered an appetizer which never came and about 25 minutes later the waiter came around and was like did you receive your appetizer? At the 30 minute mark I said “No I haven’t received my appetizer. I’ll take the check”. Thank G-D they came out with check and they gave me the appetizer free of charge. It was a nice gesture so that’s why Beaker and Grey receives a 3/5 instead of 2/5. I won’t be returning but good luck to them and anyone else who goes here ☺️

Creative and delicious lunch at the gateway of Wynward

By PearDr0ps1 |

I was in Miami for a quick, city break and, obviously, my trip wouldn't have been complete without a tour of the Wynward murals. Beaker & Gray was a good starting point location-wise to line the stomach before a day of playing tourist. First of all, the service was exceptional. The staff were friendly, warm, and excited about explaining the menu, which I always appreciate. I ordered the skirt steak bowl, which was hearty and delicious, even though the portion first appeared small. My cuz ordered the octopus and couscous bowl, and I had serious food envy. It was so tasty! (But it did finish too quickly!) It was a classy joint, I liked the simple brick walls and bronze fittings. We sat on the high tables with a nice window view for prime people watching :)

What amazing flavors!

By Pineapples-a-Plenty |

Small, intimate setting. Inviting, friendly. Our server was terrific. And then the menu. Wow! We had a large variety of options that included the octopus, chicken, big eye tuna, and glass noodles. All sensational. We had the cookies & milk dessert, and the liquid dulce de leche. PHENOMENAL!!! Their corkage fee is $25. We brought in a delicious bottle of 2480 cab. Amazing! Can't wait to go back …

Decent Brunch

By GreyTravelor |

My friends took me out for brunch at this nice restaurant a couple of blocks from the Wynwood Walls. I tend to shy from Wynwood during the weekend but was pleasantly surprised that this place had parking and was not filled with tourist. Staff is good. The bar is well-run. And the food is quite good and inventive. I plan to take my wife to dinner soon to try the dinner menu and will supplement this review. Definitely a good place for brunch.

Great Brunch!

By orlandofoodlover18 |

Really enjoyed the brunch here. The chilaquiles were fantastic and I would recommend to everyone. The shrimp and polenta was also good. Definitely give this place a try.

Spectacular! Excellent food, excellent service!

By CaioeRe |

Beautiful and welcoming atmosphere with the best food and best service! We just happened to walk by and decided to try our luck on a new restaurant, what a sweet surprise! We definitely plan on going back when we come back to Miami!

Interesting place, it's almost perfect fusion between simplicity and foreign flavors

By A little Country Hopper |

I'd to be honest, Beaker & Gray was not our first option. But the other place we chose was closed, so we decide to give a chance to B&G. It was a great deal. We felt very comfortable, simple, well attended. The flavors are truly amazing, it's like a strange mixture between rustic and sofisticated. We always like to taste something new, and this time was a blast. We'll attend to some night to pick up that scene.

Kyle was great made custom cocktail, and made recommend local places to visit.

By Mike S |

Kyle was great made custom cocktail and recommend local places to visit. Would come back and try the food, open kitchen and a great bar.

Hidden jewel

By Alejandro Z |

Came here at a friends suggestion. This place has a nice bar and a great decoration. I would recommend it.

Good food good prices

By JohnPatsi |

We enjoyed our celebration at this wonderful establishment. The table was nice and the waitress Ronnie was very good and informative in helping us determine which dishes to order. I would recommend it

Impromptu day drinking - wonderful time!

By David B |

Hadn't planned on going here but walking around Wynwood one afternoon, came across this place and decided to sit down for one drink. Which, due to the helpfulness of the bar staff and the interesting cocktail menu, turned into at least 3 drinks. Really appreciated Oren and the crew behind the bar patiently answering all our questions about mixology and providing recommendations. Will definitely come back on our next trip to Miami!

excellent dining/bar experience

By simmie17 |

We dined before our cruise as I had read reviews and the place sounded intriguing. The restaurant is in the arts district of Miami. Our cab driver got lost, though the Uber driver taking us back to the hotel was fine. That said, the experience was excellent. The drinks were top notch. Our server Brenda was super helpful in helping us navigate the menu. She was wonderful. The chicken wings were very good as were the glass noodles. All the other dishes were really very good as well, including the chorizo and the pork belly. Service was very attentive. We really enjoyed the dining experience. I admit I cannot compare to other Miami restaurants but I would say that we had a great dining experience.

Duck confit was raw

By shermanthedog |

Duck confit was raw for our friend who we were taking out for her birthday. They took it off the bill but damage was already done. I loved my short rib but we won’t be back.

Great ambiance and good food!

By Jurgen P |

This restaurante has a great ambiance and great food and drinks. The service is just above average for Miami.

Excellent tapas and adventurous atmosphere

By Bob C |

Went on Friday early and squeezed in. Nice atmosphere - festive. Food tasted awesome everything we had. Will be back.

Wanted to lick the plates!

By AGoodIslandGirl |

Upon arrival, the 3 of us were promptly seated in a very comfortable and adequate table. I don't know how my son found this place but we were so glad he did! The atmosphere was cozy and conducive to conversation; the food recommended by our excellent waiter was off the charts delicious, and our cocktails were very satisfying. Almost forgot to mention the dessert options were also scrumptious. :) Oh, the manager checked on us a few times which was a plus. A member of our party, my daughter-in-law, is an excellent waitress and she was even impressed! When we return to Miami, this restaurant is a must!

Delicious lunch near the Wynwood Walls....

By Ginny N M |

We enjoyed a generous lunch at a lovely restaurant near the painted walls of Wynwood.... The service was good and the crowd was eclectic.....

Fantastische avond met heerlijk eten!

By Demi D |

Diner at Beaker & Grey is a great experience. It is a cool place with nice workers. All very kind and polite. The food is absolutely great! Try the cauliflower if you want to be surprised, it’s fantastic! Also the chicken thighs are great. All of the dishes are great. We’ve went on a friday and went back there at tuesday. Both times very very good.

Outside of Wynwood’s main

By BlueShoesAdventures |

Outside of Wynwood’s main street sits Beaker & Gray. It was pretty slow for a Friday night but the mood was cozy and chick! The server was exceptional! The food: A bit spicy for my taste...it seemed everything had a bit more spice than my taste buds could handle. The music: At the beginning it was pretty cool but after 6-7 songs they all seemed the same. I actually believe it was the same artist being played the whole time we were there. In summary, nice place to go hang out...be aware of the spicy food and ask for variety in their music selection!!!!

Nice to have lunch after Winwood Walls visit

By Huatch |

The place is super nice, and serves high quality fresh food. I tried the grilled chicken sandwich and it was very good, a little too much mayo for my taste but very very good. The lox (salmon) bagel was THE best! It comes in a peculiar presentation, it doesn’t look quite like a bagel, it comes with some sort of mini donuts but you definitely should try it. The menu is very small, if you’re picky about the food you’ll have trouble finding something you like, but it’s a foodies best place to be.

So fun!

By Allison Archer |

A great brunch place for a big group of friends. High energy, fun staff, cool decor, and yummy food. The bottomless champagne/mimosas don’t hurt either. The sticky bun sweets for after brunch are addicting, so be careful!

Great restaurant in the Wynwood area.

By Mutti1171 |

Great restaurant nestled in the heart of the Wynwood area with unique drinks, flavorful foods and great atmosphere. They have a great and unique selection of foods for there brunch, lunch and dinner menu. At dinner they dim there lights to give there place a nice ambiance so there atmosphere feels relaxing and cozy. The staff is always friendly and quick to refill your water and remove plates and bring fresh platting or utensils for the next order. There portions are not large so it is perfect to try different foods and to share. It only took me one visit to this place be a regular customer.

Great Happy Hour

By Sam S |

We came in to take advantage of happy hour and were pleasantly surprised. Happy hour runs from 4-7 on weekdays, which is when we were there. They also have late-night happy hour which is great on Mondays-Thursdays (11-2 am). They offer a couple $7 cocktails, like mules and margaritas. I especially enjoyed the finger foods on the happy hour menu, which included mac and cheese bites and croquetas.

Great dining in Wynwood

By Rob F |

We had a great dinner at Beaker & Gray. The small plates were excellent and completely sharable. The craft cocktails were the best we had in Miami and the service was excellent. The space was very lovely, dimly lit and the noise level was not deafening.

Good is Good but not Great.

By JanineHBim |

A overall good experience. The restaurant was busy on a Wednesday night which made it a bit loud. The drinks were quite good - I recommend Rosé Coloured Glasses for a fresh and not overly sweet option. Again service was good with pleasant staff but it was obvious they were keen to turn the tables as everything was a bit rushed. Food again good - small portions for sharing. I had read the pumpkin gnocchi was the one to pick and it did not disappoint. On recommendation we also ordered the hamburger croquettes, yucca and smoked duck. All good. Overall everything was just that - good. Not overly memorable or special but a good spot to grab a bite that isnt overly expensive and has a decent vibe.

Great find

By Cathy C |

We stumbled on this place leaving the Wynwood Walls area. It’s urban industrial chic in a transitional neighborhood. The whole restaurant is open with a few tables on the outdoor patio. There’s a big, nice bar. The chairs were uncomfortable but they make a great michelada beer drink. We decided to have lunch and were able to sit at a table. It filled up quickly after that. We had the waygu burger and chicken wings. Both were very good. The free Biscayne Trolley picked up nearby to bring us back to our Brickell area hotel. It was a fun New Years Day discovery.

Great ambience, tasty and good tapas. We were surprised on every plate ordered. Highly recommended. Try the octopus and hamachi, best plates. Also try the shrimp and polenta.

Average

By Jeni |

Disappointed in the quality and taste of food particularly for cost. Cool vibe and great waitress. The restaurant was super dark and you could not even see to eat your food...That was kinda weird.

Great food & will go back

By Gary S |

Reasonably priced, good service and great food with complex flavors. Had the grilled Romaine salad to start which was simple but tasted great. Tried a side of the Loaded Fries recommended by our waiter and am glad I did; the preparation was unique and they were decadently delicious. For the main course, I had the grilled Octopus Bowl. The portion appeared to be small but was actually very filling and the flavors were complex. For dessert I had the churros (picture attached) with two dipping sauces; chocolate and cream. They were a great end to the meal. The only drawback with the restaurant is that finding parking is a challenge but definitely will go back to try more things on the menu.

Brunch was excellent

By Edward H |

Beaker&Gray is a trending bar / restaurant I Wynwood! Although brunch menu on Sunday is limited the Wagyu burger was delicious and the mango salvia mocktails very refreshing!. I decided for desert the guava skillet cookie which was sinfully rich but really good! Alas all great restaurants are remembered for the service and ambience and I had a rather impatient waitress who gave me my check before I finished ordering and the noise level would be considered loud so bring your earphones enjoy the food and hope you get a more pleasant waitress Peace

Fantastic service, very nice restaurant

By Medicine_Man2004 |

The restaurant is great. Food was fantastic - we shared four sharing dishes which were all very good. The interior is pleasant and it’s close to the Wynwood walls (5 mins gentle walk). This was all positive but the service really stood out as outstanding. We were slow to choose, had lots of questions about the dishes and nothing was too much for our server through the meal. She was lovely, pleasant, patient and informed. We both felt she was a real asset to the restaurant and made a very positive contribution to our night. I don’t think I’ve ever highlighted a server so much before but she was excellent.

Great Drink Menu

By Renemesis |

Went for dinner and really liked the ambiance. They do really well with the drink menu and have many options for you to get your drink on. We tried sharing plates tapa style, left hungry. I would suggest just ordering your own plate and doing the tapas thing elsewhere.

Great spot. E

The heirloom tomatoes were fabulous. Great waiter. Alex. A great night in Wynwood. Miami friends said to come here. They were right.

Nice ambience and gods just ok. Nothing special but nice, good to go with friends for a dinner and some drinks

Very good

By mos_privat |

We had been there during our Miami stay. Found under the best ten restaurants in Wynwood. We didn‘t try the others but for sure it is one of the best! Very good food and friendly and helpful service. It is all served in tapas style to share. We’ve ordered a few and it was all perfect. The Spanish Octopus and the Cookies and Milk were just stunning. Whoever is there need to try that. We will be back.

Loved it !!!

By Constanza R |

It's a tapa style restaurant, where you order dishes to share. Very savoury, food is excellent very good service. I recommend it 100%

Outstanding Experience

By hugoa834 |

The food at this establishment is just outstanding and we were taken care of by Destiny, a gracious person and great professional. She thoroughly knew the details of the menu and gave us several outstanding recommendations. Highly recommend the savory Croque Madame. Well worth making this a destination when visiting Winwood.

Some great eclectic drinks!

By Vicki C |

A great place to o in Wynwood with a unique selection of drinks. I tried the Mai Tai and a Bacardi sour drink which was delicious with a unique taste with great presentation. They have happy hour mon to fri. They off different drink menu for lunch and dinner. We didn't eat here, but food looks good.

Two thumbs WAY up!

By Pineapples-a-Plenty |

We set out to find a worthy spot for a big birthday celebration, and this place was a bulls-eye! Pretty easy to find, and to park. The setting was very pleasant, and inviting. Lots of chemistry from the get-go. Our server was Monica. She's a pro, and looked after us perfectly from start to finish. We were a group of nine, by the way, and blended in really well. We brought our own wines, and cake. What was nice (we checked beforehand) was the $15 per bottle, and cake charge. Reasonable. And then the cuisine. Wow! This will blow you away. They serve tapas style, and candidly, every single dish was excellent. Among our favorites were the octopus, ribs, cauliflower, pumpkin gnocchi, shrimp, and scallops. We had more, by the way! All was terrific. Cheap? Not at all, but what a spot for a special evening. We'll be back!

Sorry to say

By Nancy R |

I passed by this place 100 times and finally ate there today at midday. The food, drinks and service were great. We ordered “Dewars neat”. When the check arrived they had served us Dewars 12 years at $17 a shot. This is one of our regular drinks and were never served 12 year without being asked first. I feel like we were ripped off!

Wonderful Sunday Brunch, Perfect to start the week

By Judy K |

Two teachers, our son in law and daughter,. suggested we go to a restaurant run by former students. The experience was extraordinary from the first sip to the last bite. We sat outside and watched activity in the Wynwood district while we enjoyed innovative taste combinations that had been perfectly matched together. Our beverages were especially creative. We won't miss having another meal there when ever we return to Miami. .

Trendy, hip and delicious

By circusgurl |

Great space - love the exposed brick wall! Tapas style! Loud and fun! The glass noodles were great, so were the short ribs, cauliflower and the croquettes. They make an awesome Paloma. Service was really good but it also wasn't crowded the night we were there. Street parking.

Great all around

By Ryguy412 |

Megan made the holiday night extra special with fantastic and charming service. Food was really delicious - go with the Spanish octopus plus the Thai chicken curry. When we come back , we will return for sure. Merry Xmas all!

Nice and cool

By MayeG09 |

Easy to make reservations theu Open Table - nice ambiance and decor, the bat is super cool and allows for patrons to hang out - service was excellent and the food options are good, they have a vegetarian menu as well, so they were able to accommodate our entire party needs. The food was really tasty, the croquetas were our favorite, along with the shrimp and polenta! Short ribs were so tender and nice, but a little salty, not bad if we would have had like mash potatoes or rice on the side - the steak was nuce too and the chimichurri was amazing! Overall a very nice experience... Will go back for sure!

Very impressed!

By www.DinedThereSippedThat.com |

Inventive menu & cocktails in a trendy spot near Wynwood without the attitude. A friend brought us here, they do offer valet, 2 walking blocks from the Wynwood Walls. Inventive small dish menu - everything was excellent! kale salad was a little boring, orange gnocchi was excellent. For 2 people one large plate and three small plates is perfect. Super good drinks too. Good service, but they get super busy and had to put effort to get a drink order in. Wish this place was closer to home so I could return more often. Highly recommend it! It is busy, gets kinda loud and medium level music so don't go if you're looking for a quiet place.

A wonderful place to experience food

By maredoe |

I came here with friends the night before we left port on a cruise. I didn't know this was a place for small plates and sharing. I was honestly put off by it at first. Once I ordered and we all began to pass our dishes around I was delightfully pleased by literally every aspect. I had an amaretto sour that was the best I had ever had. For dinner, I had the calamari which was to die for and the miatake mushroom. Between the six of us, it was as though we ordered majority of the menu. We all agreed the miatake and the calamari were the two best dishes of the evening, though we loved everything!

Fresh, innovative, and DELICIOUS

By melissakoniver |

Not one bad thing to say. I've been for dinner and brunch on the weekend. The service is always impeccable and the food is full of flavor. The best part is that it's family style and you can try 10 different dishes for decent prices. I recommend the curry noodles, scallops, chicken wings, and mushroom butternut squash dishes for dinner. Brunch has a great menu too, the cheeseburger hash is UNREAL. Ask for Alex as your server, he'll take great care of you!

Excellent food and service.

Our second visit in the past several months, and B&G delivered once again ... The setting is nice. Open, airy, with lots of charm. Their is a buzz of excitement that will get your attention the moment you enter. As for the menu, in a word, delicious. The octopus was probably the highlight. The menu is rather diverse, though. Heirloom tomato salad is fantastic. They offered a special cocktail with Johnny Walker, and it hit the spot. Service is good. Consistent. And overall, B&G gets the highest marks! Will be back ... note that this is not an inexpensive spot. We dropped $50 per person, and two had no alcohol. Just an FYI ...

Amazing.

Had an awesome meal. Very attentive service thanks to Josh, and absolute probs to the chefs, myself dad and sister enjoyed! The daily special was lit.

AHHHH-MAZZZZINNG!!!!!

By Rynda420 |

Had dinner and drinks on a random Sunday and let me tell you!!! If you're considering this spot, it is a foodie's dream!!!! It's tapas style with international cuisine and an exceptional bartender (man-bun ponytail guy)!!! The ambiance is real cool!! I obvi haven't tried everything but from our table of six here is what you HAVE TO TRY!!! SHORT RIBS and TORTELLINI OXTAILS!!!!! The flavors in both of these are OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!! If you just have to get chicken wings wherever you go you can check these out as they weren't bad but you should go for something different! The drinks were also really good - the Billy Club is everything if you're an old-fashioned kind of girl or guy. The Long Island is a perfect classic and for the sweet drinkers the Rose Colored Glasses is tasty!! For dessert we all shared the Dulce de Leche molten lava cake number - not too rich so if you like just the right amount of sweet go for it! To make our experience that much more enjoyable, our server, MONICA, was more than AMAZING! She'd been through a lot the week before with Irma and other things yet her CUSTOMER SERVICE was IMPECCABLE!!!!!! Thank you Beaker and Gray for an incredible evening!!

New Years Eve

By tls41664 |

We visited here on New Years Eve. We requested a table outside on the small patio. They tables are close together and side by side. The people left next to us and 2 woman came with their dogs. The dogs were at our feet and in the aisle. We were in the middle of our dinner and the restaurant was full by then so we couldn’t move. In fact one of the dogs got stepped on by a server as she was trying to serve meals. The situation definitely changed the atmosphere of our evening. The 2 woman spent the whole time tugging on their dog leashes and talking in dog voices. We were having a lovely evening until they arrived. My husband had an Old Fashion and enjoyed it. I had a Rose’ Wine and it was very good. We decided to share small plates for dinner. We had the Cheeseburger Croquettes. They were delicious but could of been a hotter temperature. They were just Luke warm. They were out of the Burrata which we wanted to try. We tried the hamachi, my husband liked it, I am not a big fish eater. We did enjoy the B&G Salad, it was light and fresh. THe Chorizo was delicious with the tzaziki sauce was a nice touch. The skirt sauce was delicious with the chimichurri. We decided to skip any desert due to the dog situation. We would return but hope the dogs would not be back also.

Good food with too much attitude...

By eli_chi_mad |

I will try my best to be fair with this review since I have been to this restaurant several times and had a pleasurable experience. Went back last week after two years and believe the quality of the service has decreased quite a bit. I had a reservation for a party of 3 at 9:30 and arrived at 9:20. The hostess said to us that we were going to be seated close to the time of our reservation so we could wait at the bar. So we had some drinks at the bar and realized there was a table for 4 that was empty for a long time. We proceeded to ask the hostess if she could sit us at that table and she said that it was for a larger party. (We were 3, not 4....I think they would use the same table). We had to wait for 30 minutes for our table while there was an empty table right in front of us. After we were seated, the table remained empty for another 20 minutes until another party of 4 was seated. So they made us wait and gave us a a lot of attitude for nothing. On a different note, the place is very loud that you can barely have a conversation with the person next to you. In terms of the food, the best dishes were the cheeseburger croquettes, burrata and reuben fried rice. The tortellini, even though could have been a great dish, the sauce was too strong and so overpowering that ruined the dish; the pumpkin gnocchi tasted more like flour. I would pay more attention to customer service to keep a consistent service. Overall, an OK experience.

Waffle Sandwich 🤤

By Jordan O |

Went for with a girlfriend and was not disappointed. We shared dishes and left stuffed! Must try the waffle sandwich, so good! Plantains were on the savory side so I dipped them in the waffle syrup. My complaint would be how loud it is in the dining room. Very industrial so not much to absorb sound. There is outdoor seating as well. Will definitely go back for brunch if I’m back in Miami. Just a couple blocks from the Wynwood walls so you can walk off the waffles :)

OK DINNER / NOISY VENUE

By rcfoulkes |

HIGHLIGHTS - Nice ambiance - Good and attentive service - Food Menu is made to share. Most dishes are made to share. If you like sharing plates is a good option" - Make a reservation if you are planning on going over the weekend - Great Bar selection - The place is good for dinner and drinks AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT - Is a noisy place at night, if you plan on going and enjoying conversations maybe is not the place for that - Prices are somewhat higher than expected

Small plates...but not really small plates

By Robert J |

I ate at Beaker and Gray solo while on business. I would say the patio is as solo dining friendly as anywhere I've been. At 9:30 PM on a Monday night the place was still lively. Such is the Wynwood area of Miami. The menu has a list of small plate dishes that all read very well in their descriptions. The server informed me that choosing just 2 would be plenty for a solo diner. He was quite right. The food was so rich and delicious, there is no way I could have eaten a third "small" plate. I had the cauliflower and the pumpkin gnocchi. This was an amazing pairing (thanks again to the server). There were too many layers of flavor to begin to describe it all. I highly suggest just dropping in and experiencing it yourself. I had a FL brewed Trippel that was also wonderful. Great list of FL beer and inventive cocktail menu. I would return here without questions.

Amazing Brunch!!!!

By JuanDiegoZelaya |

Great music....and awesome food.... Try the waffle paninis......simply spectacular. The dumpling chorizo omelettes... French toast.... Everything was just better than the previous....

Excellent Food!

By lnkrider |

We had some of the best food we've had in a long time! Great cocktails, decent prices (for Wynwood) and a really diverse menu. We had the Reuben Fried Rice, Pork Belly, and Shrimp with Polenta, and one was better than the next. Amazing combinations of flavors served "tapas" or small plates style. The 3 dishes were a full meal for 2 of us. We will definitely be back- there were several other dishes we're looking forward to trying.

Check it out.. you won't be disappointed...

By rmmdi |

Since I like to cook (and being from NY) I take no pleasure in admitting that I'm a self described pain in the a..s when it comes to eating out. Typically looking to critique anything instead of enjoying the food, and company of friends and family (trust me, they'll all agree).. So when I was invited break bread with friends and fam on a Saturday night I eagerly accepted. The restaurant was close to downtown (Wynwood area) and easy to find (Uber was about $5), once inside the interior design was tight... nice feel, intimate (but busy) room, properly lit, with a well stocked sizable bar.. Relaxed at the bar with friends while waiting for the rest of our party to arrive, and the bartender (Joe) was attentive, and on point with our drink service... which ultimately began having the desired effect. Once seated, we were surprised to find that all the dishes on the menu were tapas, but the taste of everything ordered (at least 8 dishes) was exceptional... try the braised ribs, and the milkshake with chocolate chip doughnuts for dessert (you'll thank me). So if you're looking for a nice "go to" spot give it a try... I think you'll be pleased... hope this was helpful..

Good Brunch Spot

By leef1512 |

Cute place in Wynwood to eat lunch-close to Wynwood Walls. The brunch menu has a variety of options to choose from. The English breakfast is under the "shared" portion, but can definitely be eaten by one hungry person. The shrimp and polenta was also very good, but was a bit small. The food is very good, but a bit pricey for a fairly standard brunch menu. There's a bottomless option for $25, but no one at the table took up that option.

Modern American Cuisine.

Every was amazing..!! Service, food, music..Drinks..!! Daily Happy hour at 5pm...very interesting cocktails menu..my favorite Diablo..

Wonderful restaurant with amazing service!

By Amanda M |

We flew into Miami a day before our cruise and need somewhere to eat dinner. My husband found this place on Yelp. We ubered from the Doubletree and had an amazing dinner! Recommend the chef tasting course. It was unbelievable with great service. Every course had great flavors! Thanks for a great evening!

Fantastic dining experience.

By Shelington |

So this hidden gem of a place in Wynward serves up some of the most original and inventive dishes I’ve ever tried. Every single dish we tried was incredible. Must order the cheeseburger croquettes which are a flavour sensation and very moorish. The short ribs were rich in taste and beautifully cooked to perfection. The lamb dish was so good we ordered three portions. It’s small pieces of tender lamb crispy on the outside and melt in the mouth soft inside accompanied by a chilli paste type sauce and a mayo. The vegetarian cauliflower dish also very good. The sesame Asian style chicken wings are so addictive. Must also try the desserts - the cookies and milk are mini donuts with gooey chocolate inside and mini milkshakes. The ‘chocolate’ dessert was also amazing. The dulce de lece dessert was equally incredible. Service was fantastic too and on point at every level. This was one of the most memorable meals I’ve had in a very long time. Thank you!

Good dessert

Dessert was amazing ! The place was nice ..bar service was a little slow but besides that we had a good time

Excellent Brunch

By Alamills |

We’d had dinner at Beaker & Gray some time ago, so going there for brunch was a new experience. It was an excellent experience. We got there relatively early to make sure we got a table as we hadn’t made a reservation. We sat on the narrow terrace outside as the February weather was pleasant. Everything we ordered was delicious ... the mimosas, Bread & Spreads, Wagyu Burger, Granola, but the winner was the French Toast. Our server - Rafael - was great. Everything was served at an appropriate pace and in the order that we requested from the start... we felt totally comfortable eating without feeling hurried. Top notch all around.

Very good food and service

By Soumaya B |

The food was excellent and service was great! The dulce de leche desert was magic - please try it!!!

Superb Food and Service

By MBQ |

Of all the small-plate concept restaurants I've been to, both the food and service at this one far surpasses all the others I've tried. Following Manager Abby's suggestions, two of us ordered an appetizer and 3 other dishes and one was better than the next. The cauliflower dish was especially incredible! But the service was even better...it has to be experienced. They simply can't do enough for you. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. It's in the Wynwood area but it didn't take us long to get to from where we were staying in South Beach.

Saturday Brunch

By Julio B |

Great place for a brunch. Great atmosphere and service. We had the polenta dish and several drinks, bread pudding for dessert and the whole experience was suberb. Our waiter was friendly and prompt. Great parking area.

Great food and atmosphere

By Tiago M |

We love the place! Great atmosphere design food and drinks. Both lunch or diner. But you better know what to choose as it can get a bit confusing. Not ideal for big groups as portions are on the small size and you never know how many to take. But love it and do recommend!

seriously good

By adrianloader |

But for a couple of things, which are admittedly personal taste, Beaker & Gray would have scored a five. So close ! The drawbacks ? First, it can be very noisy, making conversation at a larger table difficult (I know it's usual nowadays but why have background music when the joint's full, no-one is listening to the sound system and it just makes everyone speak louder ?). Second, the food tends to be a little on the sweet side for my palate - not so much the main ingredient but more the accompaniment. For instance, the halibut is historic but not the sweet corn sauce that comes with it. Otherwise, this place is great. The service is terrific, attentive but not suffocating, with all servers happy to help and not a dropped ball all evening though we were a large group. The menu is nicely laid out with small(er) plates for sharing separated from ones with larger portions, and many interesting and appetising dishes (despite the above comment) which are well prepared and well presented. The beer selection (all in bottle) is pretty good, the choice of cocktails ample though sometimes a little too adventurous (who needs cucumber juice in their gin ?) and the wine list decent enough for most folk. There is valet parking as well as a few spots at the side of the building, and the location is convenient (two blocks walk) for Wynwood Walls (urban graffiti art) if you wish to walk off some calories before or after dining. We reserved because of the size of our group and then had to change the number twice but were readily accommodated without a murmur. Whoever runs this joint knows what they are doing.

100 dollar lunch

By Thomas v |

We just sad down for a bite of lunch. The place has a nice atmosphere. Although it was only 25% full. The waiter was grumpy and did not seem to like families (2 adults 2 kids). But the wagyu burger was great I must say

Great stop

By AdrianWhitehead |

The place was packed but cocktails and service excellent - loved the vibe - they were on point - next time we try the food

Excellent food and service near Wynwood Walls

By Rich H |

Family member recommended this restaurant since it was a short walk to the Wynwood Walls area. Cool upscale industrial feel to the place. Very friendly service. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals. I got their wagyu cheeseburger with gouda and bacon jam. Very tasty and cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend.

Fun for Happy Hour

By JAX B |

Beaker & Gray is a fun, cool place for happy hour. The music was great and the crowd was fun. They have drink specials from 4p-7p cocktails are $7 and beers $5. The drinks were great along with the chicken wings. We also ordered some entrees as well. For the entree prices, even though the waitress said it was more like tapas, the serving for short rib and pumpkin gnocchi were extremely small. I think my toddler would have left hungry. I would definitely come to B&G for drinks again.

This deserves a 5+ rating!

By Jennifer B |

The three of us ordered a bun of tapas and shared everything. We had two bottles of one of the Albarino wines. Absolutely delicious! Very attentive service. The tapas were all yummy- Shishito pepper, asparagus, kampachi, green papaya salad, wild mushrooms, duck breast and octopus. Would love to go back and try more!

Sunday Brunch

By Aida F |

The service was excellent; food was nice but a bit on the hot side; the music was too loud, so everybody was yelling

Delicious

By ana carolina f |

Great menu, many interesting options, tapas style and most of them cost around $16. The gnocchi was outstanding, so much that we had to order another one. The pork belly was also delicious, but the portion was ridiculously small, only came 2 pieces. Cheeseburger croquetes and ox tail tortellini were also great. The hamachi wasn’t special, and the desserts also disappointed, not as creative as the rest of the menu. We ordered the liquid dulce de leche, it was overcooked and not liquid at all, but the house was nice enough to bring us another one, much better, like a lava cake. Service was really nice. Prices are high, but so is the quality.

Unique bar and eatery in Wynwood

By Gator2357 |

Interesting bar and restaurant with a unique decor. Service very good and cocktails are very good. A great place to get together in a relaxing atmosphere

Good food and cocktails

By Twyndefossen |

Stopped there while exploring the Wynwood neighborhood and the Design District. Sat outside, and while the view from the patio was nothing spectacular, the food and drinks were very good and nicely presented. It's a "hipster" style contemporary restaurant, it seemed casual at first but I saw some dressed up and good-looking people there. I would go back if I was in that neighborhood again.

Good place…OK food

By CTRocks |

The place is very sexy. The service is good. The music is a bit loud. The food is OK. Very limited menu. But everything is sweet. Shrimp salad-sweet. Rib fried ride-sweet. Chimichurri sauce-sweet. Would likely not return.

Small Plates Rich Food

By Latonya H |

Certainly a place for foodies. Food is divine but they aren’t small plates by happenstance. The food is rich and very tasteful so you really need to share, toast a good cocktail and enjoy!

Excellent atmosphere

By Rentatile |

This place was recommended and rightly so. Had the Spanish Octopus and one of their German beers. Tapas style plating was gorgeous and food tasted amazing 😉 Recommend going as a group as it’s really close to other tables and has that big room, happy, noisy vibe to it. Service was patient and attentive throughout.

Love this place

By Ramzi_MB |

Amazing food and customer service. We went there for a brunch and the place is always busy but we sat down pretty fast. The server was attentive, friendly and professional. We tried a lot of the brunch menu items and they were delicious. We will be back again and also to try this place for dinner.

Everything was perfect!

By Julia Gratone |

We had six different dishes and each one of them was better than the other!!! The service was perfect too. Awesome choice.

Top-notch gastropub style dining

By thedoublee |

This place is noisy when full but the food and drinks were outstanding. They were super busy when we showed up with a group of 6 and no reservation but they were able to work us in. Waitstaff was very attentive and helpful with the drinks and food choices. Some of the greatest hits were yellow curry, wild mushrooms, cauliflower, sandwichito. Looks like menu changes up frequently which is a good thing, everything we had was good to excellent.

Best restaurant in Miami

By Cyril M. |

Best restaurant in town!!!!!! I’m In love!!!!!!!!!!! Me and my husband haven’t try such a good food in a long time!!! And we loves going to restaurants and trying everything. This place is amazing!!!! A bit crowded and noisy but the food worth it!!!!! Try the polenta. Is the best!!!!! It has pineapple my husband is not a fan of fruits, I love it but he doesn’t and he loved it!!! So give it a try!! Also you need to know that on Saturdays and Sundays they only have a brunch menu and then after 6 they have the dinner menu.

Great place and amazing food

By Anne |

The restaurant was a great surprise! Service was fast and nice although we were a group of 7 persons. We all loved the food. Definitely recommend this place in Miami! It just does not look so fine outside, but is very cozy inside.

Best food ever

By Jess P |

As an avid foodie and home chef, my partner and I both agree that the food at this restaurant was literally some of the BEST food we have ever had. This restaurant/chef deserves a Michelin star. There are no words that can describe the multitude of flavors that you experience in one bite. We literally were speechless for a majority of our dinner. The drinks we on point. I would highly recommend trying (in this exact order): Shishito peppers, Shrimp salad, oxtail tortellini, and the dulce de leche dessert (I think this is close to the name). You will not be disappointed.

Best in midtown

By Enrique R |

this is great place. Every time I go I enjoy the environment, the food and the service. Risotto is spectacular.

5 stars for cocktails

By Nicci P |

Cool vibe in the trendy Wynwood area, more upmarket than most bars here. Delicious cocktails. We did not eat but the food looked good too. They have happy hour specials :-)

You Will Enjoy the Experience

By Allen L |

Excellent Weekend Brunch with unusual and tasty offerings. Rice Crispied French Toast was a decadent indulgence. Egg Whites under vegies was healthier, and just as good. There are "regular" offerings, such as bacon and eggs, but why do that when the alternative delights are available. We started by splitting salads. They were delicious and large enough for two. Great Service. We ate outside to avoid the noise, although the level did not seem to bother the diners filling the room. Open Kitchen and big bar. Valet Parking Available for a fee.

Open your mind and your stomach

By JustTravl |

Great food that is different! Ambiance and service are great. Not the usual Miami crowd. Great location in Wynwood. Drinks are very good as well. Keep an open mind and enjoy!

Amazing Food

By Caroline_ss13 |

We went there for drinks, but ended up having dinner. The food was amazing!! We were a group of 6 people so we ordered about 9 different tapas dishes and they were all very good!! My personal favorites were the wild mushroom, octopus, pork belly and the risotto. The portions are a bit small to share with 6 people so I would suggest ordering two of the same dishes when you're more than 4 people.

Delicious Brunch

By Melissa G |

Delicious Brunch - had the pink slip cocktail and burger both yummy! My friend tried the pork waffles- highly recommend!!

YUM!

By H B |

Food was delicious! We had the French Toast...which was actually made out of sourdough and rolled in home made rice krispies....Amazing...Burger were perfect and the shrimp and polenta was also great! It was a little noisy but that contributed to the vibe. Great brunch place!

What a pleasant surprise!!

By tanyamcamacho |

My husband and I visited this place last night for dinner. We were very impressed with the service. The music was loud where we were sitting and we were asked what could be done for us to feel better. 5 minutes later Remyl the manager came by and lowered the music and told us to enjoy our dinner. The service was excellent. Our server was Megan very attentive. She recommended the best dishes (not the most expensive) Now the food... small plates meant to be shared. The flavors are very unique. An interesting fusion of latin american spices and fresh ingredients that put together were very pleasing! I have to say I loved this place and we will definitely be back!!

A SMALL WONDER OF ECLECTIC DINING

I was looking for foods for my nephew to try in the area of Windwood in Miami, Florida so he would taste something other than latin cuisine, and I found it here Chef Andres Kaifer show me some foods I never knew excisted here in our town marvelous food.

Best Drinks in Miami

By Nicole R |

Stopped in for drinks only. The bartenders are so talented and creative. It obvious they're passionate about crafting cocktails and they love building a drink for you based off whatever spirit your in the mood for. They also have a Great drink menu but we just opted to see what these guys could do on the fly and wow... very impressed. Will definitely be back. Didn't try any food but the menu looked great and so did all the dishes coming out of the kitchen.

Amazing service, delicious food, great ambiance

By Emily D |

I never write reviews, but I felt like it was necessary after such a wonderful experience last night at Beaker and Gray. I made a reservation for 15 girls (a challenge in itself with such a large number), but our server Abby handled it with such ease. She was FANTASTIC, organized, timely, and extremely friendly. The food was unbelievable! Our favorite tapas were the croquettes, the tortellini, and the scallops! The quaint ambiance of this restaurant was unforgettable. I truly cannot say enough good things about this place. I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone in the Miami area!!

Excellent brunch

By Tangosmom2 |

I was looking for a late brunch after attending an art event with a friend. Brunch is served until 4 pm on Sundays. My friend had the Shrimp & Polenta and loved it. I had the Oxtail Croque Madame and thought it was out of this world! This was yesterday and I'm still thinking about it! We both had a glass of Cava. I thought it was a good deal for the price and definitely would recommend and wish to return. Jason was our waiter and he was excellent as well!

So good!

Super cool

By perbuhl |

We just dropped in on our way, got a table at once. Valet parkering $10 or VIP 20 . Risotto too greasy but other dishes were great and tasty. RedWine by the glass as usual in USA too hot. Nice experience good ambiente nice music

Awful service

By Drivexx |

We went for happy hour intending to stay for dinner but left after the appetizers. We asked for sparkling water and slices of lemon. Still came. No lemon. The lemon did come later. The cocktails were excellent. Asked for a second round. My partner's came but I had to request mine a second time. We had the yucca chips and chicken wings for appetizers. There were very very few chips and they were really thin and oily so you could really only taste the oil. We asked for chicken wings or lollipops (i forget) not to be spicy and the server said that was possible, but the ones that came 20 minutes later were extremely hot and spicy. We told the server, but never saw her again. It seems that the servers are employed for their youth and how good they will look in tight black outfits (very good) because the service was among the worst we've had in Miami.

Loved it!

By cindy s |

I took a colleague that was visiting from out of town to dinner tonight at Beaker and Gray. I’m happy to say that the drinks, food and ambiance were all excellent. I had a Manhattan on the rocks and it was served with a big square ice cube and a delicious dark cherry just the way I like it. We shared four small plates and each was just luscious. The burrata, the grilled shrimp, the mushrooms and the short rib were all exceptional. Our server, Destiny was delightful! But best of all, I could have a great conversation without having to shout over blasting music. I can’t wait to go back!

Really good - inventive cocktails and excellent food. Highly reccomend!

By scooby_d00_uk |

Visited here with a friend a few weeks ago and was really impressed. We had a reservation in the main table area, but elected to stay put in the very comfortable bar area. Staff were great - a Scottish gentlemen looked after us during our visit and recommended some very tasty small plates. From the drinks menu, the Zapaca old fashioned is a must try! As we left, the staff kindly provided us with a little list of other cool cocktail bars in Miami. Excellent service and would definitely return.

Loved our dinner from apps to desserts!

By Eileen D |

The staff is attentive, the food is delicious and the desserts are heavenly. If you are in Miami do not miss this extraordinary dining experience.

Ill try again as the food was very good.

By BiminiSea |

Went here for New Year Eve dinner. Very nice overall place. My wife chose three plates and I chose two plates & a beer. Both of my choices and the beer were not available. Reason to why I removed a star from the rating. The other star is missing because the portions were really tiny for the price. Other than that everything else was perfect and the food was really good. Will be back!

Best Brunch Around

By GJ_GlobalTravel |

Great service, fun space and really creative menu. We had the frozen yoghurt and chewy granola which is sweet in every sense. Really nicely presented with quirky style, lovely chewy granola and some fresh frozen yoghurt. The de-constructed cheeseburger is also amazing and a really creative twist. The kale and egg whites is a step above too - overall they created a really fun brunch which is unique. Could have tried everything on the menu! Service was great too with good recommendations for the local area.

Really good food and great experience

By Journey with Josh |

What a delicious experience. Started with a tangy watermelon mimosa and avocado toast. For the main, had CHILAQUILES and SHRIMP & POLENTA. The chaquiles was spiced nicely Ava very flavorful. The polenta was creamy and smokey.. very good. We sat on the patio with attentive service. Fun atmosphere inside. Will definitely go back.

Delicious Wynwood dining experience

By Coco |

Delicious Wynwood dining experience - but hold the salt plz! Came here impromptu after exploring Wynwood on a Saturday afternoon. My fiancé and I had no problem snagging a table around 7 PM. We ordered drinks and some food to share. We split the blue crab curry, pumpkin gnocchi, and cauliflower. The pumpkin gnocchi was exceptional, a definite must get, with pillowy soft gnocchi and delicious pork rib. As a warning the portions are pretty tiny, and my fiancé is not, so we got the cauliflower after the mains because he was still hungry. The cauliflower was okay. I found it almost inedibly salty. All of the food was a little over-salted tbh. The salt + small portions for price brings this from a 5 to 4 star. Service was nice and attentive without being pushy or pushing us out. Vibe was cool. I would definitely come back when I’m back in the area.

beaker & gray

By Jenna W |

I have nothing but good things to say about Beaker & Gray. Walked in with out a reservation on Saturday night party of 2 and they were able to sit us right away. Our server Michael was excellent and had plenty of recommendations, ask for him when you go. The food was delicious, served tapas style so make sure to order a lot of dishes. We ordered the Shoshito peppers, oxtail tortellini, lamb belly and cheese burger croquettes. It was plenty for our dinner date night. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be a returning guest.

tapas style

By Pamela B |

the service was really good and love the tapa style to share. Many good options and the portions just perfect. My favorite dishes were Risotto and the dessert "Dulce de leche" out of this world!

I love discovering new places that we absolutely adore!!!

By Journey61077508300 |

Woweeeeeeee so my family and I discovered this absolute gem this evening! We sampled quite a lot of the menu, my favourite being the cheeseburger crouquettes, Brussel sprouts and Pumpkin gnocchi! Husband and son enjoyed every thing else so much and it was really fun to try different combinations and flavours!! Don’t skip dessert even if you’re full because they’re amazing!!! We have added this to our Miami restaurants list now to re visit whenever in town!

Very nice.

By Melanie M |

The food was delicious and not heavy. Great spot for delicious food that is perfectly priced and the portions are perfect. The service was excellent, from the sweet and funny hostess (young lady with dark brown/black wavy hair), to the server Raul and the manager who paced the restaurant to make sure we were ok. Each person who brought out our dish and re-filled our beverages was simply amazing! Even the valet guy was nice. It was $10 to valet so we parked on the street but I wouldn't mind valet next time if street parking isn't available. Looking forward to going back. Thanks Beaker & Gray team!

Excellent Tastes and Flavors

By JSuth2000 |

Beaker and Gray is hip place in the trendy area of Wynwood, and the food matches both vibe of the neighborhood. Very inventive menu when it came to cocktails as well as food. More of a “small” plates sharing menu, and their was no shortage of menu items when it came to diversity and flavors. Had an excellent octopus dish that was different from the traditional presentation at other restaurants. Also enjoyed the chimichurri steak. My wife and I were pleasantly full with three dishes, and the prices were reasonable. Good place for a beginning to a night out, and we took advantage of the location to bounce around to some other places afterward.

Great food, awesome cocktails, fantastic service

By Kapil C |

Great food, awesome cocktails, cool ambiance and excellent service! Fantastic hospitality by Jennifer A, really appreciated her excellent service! Favorite dishes: octopus, Falafel, WW? (Amazing cocktail- their take on a tequila old fashioned but spicy too)

Good food in a former factory space

By Eduardo H |

This cozy yet hip restaurant is located in the Wynwood art district. The decor and menu are very interesting. Ordered a couple of small plates as starters: the Sandwichitos (pork belly, watermelon rind, Swiss cheese) and the Pork Ribs (with hoisin, anise and farofa). Followed with the Risotto (red shrimp, wild mushroom, uni butter) and the Short Ribs (with pearl onion, tomato mustard and a scallion churro). Food was delicious, service fast and courteous. Although we had beer and wine, there are. Any other options in its full bar. Prices are very reasonable! I would definitely visit the restaurant again while visiting Miami!!

Accomplished modern vibey

We visited b&g last Saturday night in trendy Wynwood with 20+ guests in town for a family event later in the week It’s always a pain to get seating for such a big crew and then to get food that suits every taste including vegan and vegetarians Top marks to David and his team. We settled in advance on a fixed range of 10-12 tapas that would accommodate all tastes progressing from cold starters to warm dishes Service was attentive and crisp. Food was very tasty well seasoned and loved by all The area is a block walk from the buzzy art walls and I recommend strongly to any visitor to Miami as much more trendy and on pulse than old hackneyed South Beach We’ll be back next visit to Miami

Excelente night out

The place has a nice vibe. We were seated and our server suggested 2 dishes per person as they are tapas size. We asked him for his recommendations. After a few questions about our likes and dislikes and restrictions (none) he suggested 4 dishes... there were delicious.

Excellent food but noisy and dark

Delicious food and service. Very spacious. Good happy hour deals. Everything great except the noise level and lighting inside. Its very dark inside with limited lighting and too noisy to hear anything your friends are saying.

Solid Creative Spot

I had high expectations, as I read all the excellent reviews. I was happy with my lunch. The chow and service was very good/excellent... really a standout for the Miami area. This is an excellent, casual place...and I like the fact that they take chances with some of their unique combinations. Don't go expecting greatness and you'll be very happy. Our lunch of glass noodles (very good), chicken wings (excellent), roasted cauliflower (VG). Reuben sandwich was huge... enough to share (VG) served with fries or excellent cole slaw. Wagyu burger, excellent w/good fries. Really liked their Chardonnay choice... Joey Tensley. Service was excellent from Krystal S. Management kept a watchful eye. Dishes/presentations were plated with exacting care. Will be back.

Great cocktails and good small plates

By PaulSnood |

Arrived early to meet up with friends and sat at the bar for a couple of cocktails. Friendly and professional, the bartenders shared their expertise as we watched them trying out new recipes. My first Cocoa Boulevardier was amazing, and after everyone else arrived and tasted mine became the go-to drink of the evening. Some memorable small plates were the Asian Chicken Wings, Fried Haddock with Creamed Corn, and "Ruben" Fried rice. Very good service, from the hostess, aforementioned bartenders and services in a nice, if a little dark atmosphere. Would def return for drinks and lite bites at the bar next time.

A Serious Must

I love Beaker & Grey. The food is amazing. The drinks are unique and delicious. The service is excellent. There are lots of trendy places to eat in Wynwood; this is the one to go to.

Delicious Lunch

Stopped in with three friends for a lunch before an international flight and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and a safe haven from the scorching sun. Food came out quickly and was delicious. Service was friendly and gave good recommendations.

Great restaurant to grab a bite. Went here for lunch with a few friends and ordered a Shrimp Po Boy sandwich and fries, delicious. The service was good and the atmosphere was chill. The only negative thing I would say is that it was very cold inside. Other than that, it was an enjoyable visit.

Must try

Great attention to food and details. Everything I've had was tasty and really refined. Wow I'm really surprised by the quality of the food. The waiter suggested cocktails that were right on point with my tastes. Great experience and nice atmosphere. Highly recommended

Hip restaurant in Wynwood

By acedaughter |

Good service, good drinks, good food -- what more can you want in a restaurant? (The only reason for 4 rather than 5 is that the restaurant was very loud -- hard for 4 to converse.) Our waiter was great at offering suggestions, and they were spot on! Make reservations -- it's a popular place on a Friday night.

Great food & artisan cocktails

By DJARod |

Our group of seven people had lunch at Beaker and Gray and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. They have a good selection of beers and wines and excellent artisan cocktails. Our service was attentive but they weren't crowded when we were there. Because we were a fairly large group, we were able to ample quite a few of the lunch menu offerings, including the B&G salad, the baby spinach salad, the Wagyu burger, the Chivito and the octopus bowl. We were all pleased by what we got. We also ordered a couple of sides: loaded fried, roasted cauliflower and wild mushrooms. We all agreed that the roasted cauliflower was the star of our meal. The only cautionary note I would offer is that because of al the hard surfaces of the decor - wood, metal, cement - I think it would be difficult to hear each other if your group were any larger than ours.

Consistently good

My boyfriend and I have come here twice now, once for lunch and once for our anniversary dinner. Note that the lunch and dinner menus are fairly different. The drink selection is diverse and delicious, but the food leaves a bit to be desired from a portion standpoint. We’ve had several yummy plates, but I came home wanting a snack after dinner, which, considering the price, didn’t leave a great taste in my mouth. The dessert drink with the cold brew coffee is absolutely amazing - and I don’t typically order after-dinner drinks. The cheeseburger croquettes on the dinner menu were also delicious. Skip the wings. Would recommend for happy hour and bites.
