Pancakes & bfast enchiladas very good as was bloody mary. Took 10m+ for server to get to table for first time. Took order and disappeared. Someone else brought food and nobody ever checked in at table to see if food ok. Couldn't find server you get check and had to get from manager.

A great place for breakfast. We had the quinoa cakes with poached egg and the lemon pancakes. The quinoa, egg and tomato basil sauce was an amazing combination of flavors and the lemon pancakes were so light and had the best lemon flavor. Our server, Emma H., did a great job and offered some great suggestions for things to do. A big thanks to her for recommending that we go to Kingston Mines blues club. We had a great time.

Calming ambiance, super knowledgeable and kind server and great food. What more could one want? In my opinion, when a server recommends a beverage/entree based on a conversation of what's on your mind and that beverage/entree hits the spot, then you fall in love with the place. This is Beatrix.

We wanted a lite brunch on our shopping travels, so popped into Beatrix. The decor was very nice, the staff friendly enough, but the menu was too heavy - nothing lite at all. We explored the food cabinet and the best we came away with was a Cinnamon scone with heaps of cream chesse (don't get me wrong, I am a big fan of cream chesse just not when the wifes around!) the coffee was coffee nothing great.

We stayed at the aloft hotel that houses Beatrix. They had a great happy hour burger special, and beer when we first arrived. We had breakfast each morning as well. It was very inconsistent, long wait times even with reservations, cold food, and in 2 cases foid that was inedible. The breakfast Shakshouka was so salty it was inedible, plus eggs way over cooked yet cold. The Chicken meatballs inedible because of amount of salt. In both cases management seemed not to care. The pastries were good as was humus. The staff were great at off peak periods.

I went to Beatrix with colleagues for an after meeting dinner. It was hot outside so I thought a nice cooling gazpacho would hit the spot. Everyone else’s food was great but the gazpacho was a thin soup with some chopped veg in the bottom and tasted like is wasn’t diluted 1:1 with vinegar. Someone clearly dropped the bottle in as it was inedible. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff served well but please check the acidity of something that should be delicious and fresh and if you get it in Spain a good deal thicker than heavy cream. Sorry guys.

We came here for breakfast after an overnight stay because it was close to our hotel. Had no idea what to expect but OMG! this place was amazing! So many unique, but not inaccessible food options. Great coffee & cocktail selections. We seriously talked about this meal for days afterwards! Go here!!!

Great brunch options. We tried the breakfast burrito and the shakshuka (which we enjoyed best of the two). Very friendly service from the server. The restaurant gets very busy with long waits so I suggest getting a reservation for brunch. It's connected to the adjacent hotel, and where we were seated, hotel guests were able to watch us eat as they were waiting in the lobby, which took away from the dining experience. But overall a good restaurant for breakfast and brunch options.

We were a walk in so had to wait for a table at the bar. Host kept us updated on the table availability as it was delayed. Bar team very friendly. Starters were delicious and mains good but not as good as the starters. Try the gazpacho and burrata. Our waiter was knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. Plus they were able to swap out all the high carb options upon request.

I waited 15 minutes for a table. Another client passed in front of me. After that (more 10min) when the first table wandered, I asked if I could sit down, heard that it would not be possible. Only when the worst table in the place was available were I offered a place. I asked pq could not sit at the other table, which had the same number of chairs and just heard that it was not possible. Since I was not treated with reasonable signature, I thanked and left. A good course of customer service would do good to the site.

This is a great place to go even if you have allergies. I had a scrumptious apple cinnamon muffin packed with apples, with a crispy top and creamy, dairy and soy free! There are so many choices and lots of people are enjoying it - it was full with a waiting time for a table at 10:15am on a weekday.

We are not brunch people, but this restaurant was worth the effort. Although a bit noisy due to all the hard surfaces, the food and service was exemplary.

I was recently in this restaurant attracted by the beautiful photos of the location and the food. I was a bit disappointed with the menu which, in my opinion, is a bit narrow and has few options and the quality of the food which was not much. The service, however, was kind up to the bill, when the waiter saw that the tip offered was not to his liking, he left without even saying goodbye. I'm not coming back.

Went here for brunch. I started with the Blue Boost Squeezed Juice. It is a combination Blue Berry, White Grape and Basil. The basil flavor tone's down the sweetness, making this a very refreshing drink. My wife and I shared an order of the Light and fluffy lemon pancakes, and the Green chili Enchiladas. The pancakes were light and fluffy, and had the amazing lemon syrup. The Enchiladas, were wonderful. They were filled with scrambled eggs, mixed with Roasted Pablano peppers, baby kale, Chihuahua Cheese, and pepper-jack cheese. Then topped with the Green sauce. We had a side of their Brown Sugar Bacon which was very good, and the Avocado toast. I asked that they serve the toast with the hot peppers on the side instead of on the toast. glad i did. The avocado spread was wonderful, and when i tried it with a piece of the pepper, the pepper overwhelmed the avocado flavor. Parking is street, of garage parking. I did not see valet parking for brunch. Lots of great flavors to wake up the taste buds.

We spent a week in Chicago and the concierge advised us to go to Beatrix for breakfast, on our first morning, as it was within walking distance, albeit extremely cold outside. Lovely friendly staff and as far as my experience goes of the US, a variety of healthier and different breakfast choices. It was so good that we returned four more times. The only issue was, on the Saturday, we didn’t reserve and the waiting time was over an hour, but well worth the wait. Very organised front of house staff. The avocado eggs Benedictine was the best as well as the avocado toast, with a side order of crispy bacon. Good coffee too. Anyone visiting Chicago should at least go once.

I had breakfast here after a 24 hour trip from Australia. I like the look of the menu with fresh food and vegetarian options. I had the Quinoa Cakes and Poached eggs which were delicious. The service was very quick even though the restaurant appeared busy.

Stopped in at the counter for a coffee to go and the very kind server said- have a great day- on the house! It’s the little things that set places apart. Thank you and I will be back!

Great restaurant, they quit serving breakfast at 11:30 AM, at it is wise to have reservations. We made it for lunch. Service was great, we had a fun waiter named Doug. We had chicken enchiladas and they were fabulous. We also really like the humus appetizer.

Without waxing poetic, I just want to say that I came here by myself after a tough day - only to have the utmost serendipity and pleasure of interacting with my server, Jose Serna. He was warm, affable, kind, and made my experience at Beatrix one I will always remember. I would recommend anyone dining at Beatrix to ask for him by name.

We had the Kung Pao Cauliflower for an appetizer that was delicious. Then we had the Chicken Bebe for dinner, also very delicious. The food was good and prices fair. Also good ambiance! I think a favorite city restaurant!

Went went here twice for brunch as Beatrix was attached to our hotel. Everything we ordered was wonderful. The staff and service was excellent as well.

I had dinner Thursday without reservation. Menu was good as well as prices and space. Service might improve a bit having more attention.

The ambient is great and the service as well. However the menu for brunch has few options. We were expecting more from it as it was highly recommended by locals. The food was ok. Nothing out of extraordinary.

Fabulous Brunch! Make reservations if possible as you might have to wait, but wait is worth the experience. Flavorful food, great menu, energetic atmosphere and very polite friendly staff.

If you get to cope with the very loud noise, you can enjoy a good meal served by very nice wait staff. We could have been seated outside, but there the noise of the neighboring restaurants was even bigger… Each of us three had appetizers, entrees and dessert, all of them in a good standard. The chocolate cake was delicious, but the chia seeds pudding was awesome and vegan!

Yes--great brunch spot as all the other reviewers have said. On Monday, Veterans' Day we walked from the Hilton Garden Inn in the freezing cold and slush. Make a reservation--it's crowded. We were seated almost immediately (our reservation honored) but it took almost 15 minutes for our server to bring our drinks and take our order. Someone had called out (probably due to weather.) Even so, she really hustled and tried hard to bring everything quickly. The shakshuka was very good, as was the latte (I ordered two extra shots in it; four total in a large.) I had a cocktail also that was a habanero pineapple margarita. It was nicely tart, but very easy on the habanero. I like spice; I could have gone twice or even three times the punch. They have a big variety: coffees, smoothies, alcoholic beverages, sweet, savory choices, etc. It's in a hotel and so the rest room is behind the reception desk. No coats were checked, so I was careful not to step on everyone's winter wear as I made my way back there.

We had booked a table for 4 for brunch and were glad we did so as there were lots of walk ins waiting at the front desk for tables. There was good choice on the menu and they served a delicious Bloody Mary (apparently they used to have a BM bar back in the day!!). I enjoyed my hash browns, eggs, sausage, bacon and waffles!!

I've been here a few times and it's excellent. We really like the Straight A salad. I had the whitefish with parm/pistaccio crust on this visit and it was great. Serivce is always nice. Located in River North, I often recommend this place to out of town guests since it's walkable from most downtown area hotels. This most recent visit was with my parents and everyone was happy. It right near the Grand Red Line stop too.

We enjoyed a late dinner and breakfast here on a recent weekend. We arrived late on a flight from Boston and we were starving. We were grateful that the host staff found a spot for us despite the very busy Saturday evening. We ate light given it was late at night. We loved the Brussels sprout app, the Parmesan green beans, the avocado ceviche, and the kennebec fries. Breakfast was also delicious - this is a great spot whether you’re staying at the Aloft hotel or not.

This place was suggested by a coworker because it was her favorite and it instantly became mine as well. Wonderfully interesting menu with hearty standbys massaged into healthy delights. I had the Fluffy & Light Lemon Ricotta Pancakes - they were amazing. I believe this gem will be my repeat breakfast location for the next five days of this trip.

How can management not realize that their music is obnoxiously loud, when the wait staff is leaning over the table raising their voices to take orders? I enjoy loud music in a late night bar, as much as the next person, but it doesn't work at all for brunch, where people want to relax and talk. It's a popular place, so there were people standing in the entry waiting for their tables, but it just made the atmosphere that much more uncomfortable with people yelling and bad 80's music blaring. So much for a relaxing brunch. All of the above are addressable, if the management is attentive. The menu is small, with some creative selections, and the food was well prepared. Good pastries and good strong coffee. I would love to go back, once they decide to play music at a volume where we can have a conversation.

We were on holiday from NZ. Fresh delicious food with a flair is important to us and Beatrix did not disappoint. So good we came back three times. Definitely recommend the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl-sensational. Service was very good. Pays to book ahead to ensure you don’t miss out.

We have been here before but it has been awhile. I was visiting Chicago and one daughter lives there with her family and the other was in with her family. One daughter wanted to go to Beatrix and it worked out very nice. We had five children from ages 18 months to ten years and the waiter accommodated us very nicely to try to keep the kids happy. We had mixed drinks, beers and wine and shared the hot honey brussel sprouts plate which was very tasty. Three of us ordered the pistachio crusted whitefish which was excellent. One adult had steak and one had fish tacos. They have a kids menu which satisfied them- chicken fingers and pasta. The adults shared a baked smores dessert which was delicious and the kids picked out various cookies and donuts from the display in the restaurant. The staff was great and we had a great time.

We ate there almost every morning. I liked the variety of offerings. I recommend making reservations for breakfast because our last day we were unable to eat because of the wait.

Our server was so helpful when picking out food that would work for our party of 4. We were all pleased with our choices. The Chicken Bebe is their most popular dish. It was excellent.

I was somewhat disappointed by our recent experience at the River North location of Beatrix. Having experienced their Streeterville location, we had high expectations of similar service and delicious food. Although you can't help but enjoy the outdoor vibe of an active evening dining experience in the Fulton Market area, this experience lacked decent service, and better-than-average food. From the rude hostess, to the bland offerings, we were a bit put off with our overall experience.

I saw that they took reservations for breakfast which seemed odd, but we made them anyway. We were glad we did, even at 10:30 it was packed and there was a wait...but well worth it! One of the best breakfasts we've had, very health, very delicious, and very unique options.

I ordered a Chicken Bebe and a Barrel O’Monkeys beverage. I didn’t notice any banana du bresil, chocolate-walnut bitters in my cocktail. It was simple bourbon with the ice. Plus they added lemon peel slices. It looked like they were left after the previous client. The ground crackers on the chicken looked like porridge. Not good entree and cocktails.

The Beatrix is attached to the ALOFT Hotel. It serves well prepared breakfasts and the dinner menu is varied and interesting. Over a two day period we had two team breakfasts and one team dinner for a party of 7. Service was spot on and the food was well received. The beer menu was adequate but a bit limited but overall we recommend the Beatrix!

I always loved to come to this restaurant with my daughter! Whether the Oak Brooke or river north location! We always loved the healthy options on menu especially the Poke Bowl! They also make a great Cappuccino or Espresso Martini!

Try the cauliflower salad with ahi tuna. Very filling and tasty. Halibut came on a small bed of greens but no side dish. No bread served which is strange since they have baked goods. Tiny martini...ordered “dry” but not made as ordered...too much vermouth.

First, let me say that both the restaurant and the patio are warm and welcoming. The manu is packed with delicious items and we found it hard to choose just a few! A big shout out to the host, who was juggling so much and made it all look easy. Our server Lena was polite and informative, and super professional. Everything we ate there was just perfect. Two tips: one, make a reservation, you will be glad you did. And two, make sure to check out the pastry case. So so good.

We came here for a late breakfast during the week, everyone in the party enjoyed their selections. The staff was knowledgeable about their offerings and made great recommendations. After we heard later about their caramel pie, we came back for it (twice)!

Had a mini-reunion dinner with a college friend at Beatrix, and it was a pleasant surprise for both of us. Though it was a little busy on a Tuesday night, it wasn't too loud and our waiter was prompt and attentive. I recommend the blueberry tom collins, the burnt honey chicken, and the warm gingerbread cake. All super delicious and perfect on a cold evening.

Many thanks to University of Dayton Alumnus John Economos, Partner at the Beatrix for making sure our University of Dayton krewe of 15 doctoral students, faculty and recent alums could enjoy dining with him in Chicago during a recent academic conference. What a beautiful resto! I particularly was impressed with the bakery display- simply beautiful. We enjoyed impeccable service and solid food while there and I'd recommend Beatrix North to any friends in Chicago and those headed there. Thanks for a great experience!!

We had a great breakfast here for what we felt were fair prices. The yoghurt was amazing and the breakfast tacos plentiful and creative. My espresso arrived to the table a bit tepid, but it was rather busy when we were there.

Visited for brunch. The food was okay, except the waffle was room temperature (ands we were seated next to the kitchen). Next time I'd advise IHop or Denny's--and they are much less expensive.

We were in town for a concert and staying at the Aloft. Dinner menu looked good and it was convenient before heading to the concert. Very pleasantly surprised. Varied menu with something for everyone. I had swordfish kabobs that were perfectly done and flavorful. My wife had vegetarian ravioli that she also loved. Came back in the morning for breakfast which from the size of the crowd appears to be a popular location.

We went here twice for breakfast while in town. It was very busy on both occasions, and we waited for around 30 minutes both times. The food was great; I had eggs and bacon. It was very tasty. The staff were friendly and attentive on both visits. I would definitely recommend

The menu is eclectic and inventive. Wide variety and plenty for vegetarians. The meatloaf was terrific and the burrata was divine. We were so full we couldn’t even order the amazing sounding desserts.

We’ve eaten breakfast / brunch at Beatrix on a previous visit to Chicago. As our hotel was near one of their stores, we wanted to return. We were two couples and a high chair and throughly appreciated the attention to our needs. The menu and service were great and the counter dedicated to “sweets” is spectacular. The expresso options are also admirable. Like many breakfast restaurants in this part of the city, expect a crowd after the city wakes up and wants to eat breakfast on the weekend.

Wow, great brunch. Homemade yogurt and granola delicious! Everything was so fresh. Top notch chai latte. Got lucky with 2 bar seats, but definitely a hot spot.

We ate dinner there last night and enjoyed it thoroughly. We looked at the brunch menu and before we left made reservations for this morning for brunch. Again, we were very happy with the food. Our server Brittany was exactly what one hopes for in a server but rarely gets: extremely pleasant, helpful and efficient. We left a little perturbed with the front of house operations though. We arrived at 9 am on a Sunday morning which we fully realize is ground zero for the crowds to enter in search of good eats. We’re very reasonable people and wouldn’t expect to be seated at a four-top at such a busy period. Yet while we were waiting to be seated we observed other two-person groups seated at four-tops. We were shown to the very last open two-top, barely outside the confines of the kitchen. We politely asked if we could be seated elsewhere. To the credit of the person seating us he did ask the person at the host station and he came back and stated they needed to leave the four-tops open for larger groups. We didn’t make a fuss and accepted the table originally offered, and while we enjoyed our food, were continually grazed by waitstaff trying to exit the kitchen as well as sweating from the heat eminating from the open kitchen just feet away. But I did a slow burn as we continued to see other parties of two being seated at four-tops after we were well into our brunch. So while we would likely return, I’d like to know what the secret handshake is so we can avoid the worst table in the house next time. Reading other reviews it seems our experience is not an isolated thing.

I feel annoyed when I go to pricey places that in my opinion are not delivering whatever they’re charging Food was delicious and restaurant is beautiful but dishes were expensive and super small Brussels sprouts were dry! I had to order 2 dishes because one was not enough I wouldn’t go back to this restaurant

We stumbled across this little place for a Sunday brunch. It was excellent. We had the Avocado toast and Breakfast Burrito. Both were excellent.

The Chicken Bebe was just awful!!!! No flavor. Massively salty. Very few asparagus. At best it would be served as a bad meal in school. How is this meal acceptable? Waste of money. ( but I still tipped appropriately because I did not want to punish waiter.)

Whatever you are looking for in a restaurant, you'll find it at a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant somewhere in the Chicago area. Take Beatrix, for example. There are five locations--River North, Fulton Market, Streeterville, Loop and Oak Brook. It's a neighborhood coffeehouse and restaurant and meeting place featuring an in-house bakery with signature cookies and baked goods. Most convenient to me is the 519 North Clark Street address, in River North. For early commuters, the coffee and pastry center opens at 6 a.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. on Saturday. Breakfast is from 7 to 11 Monday through Thursday, lunch from 11:30 to 4 Monday through Thursday and dinner from 4 to 9 Monday through Thursday, 3 to 10 on Friday and Saturday and 3 to 9 on Sunday. As an 84-year-old retiree, lunch suits me just fine. I started with a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice and a bowl of vegetable tortilla soup. Then a prime burger with white cheddar cheese and house-made giardiniera on a classic bun with Kennebec fries. For dessert, I had chocolate cake with house-made hot fudge. And I washed it all down with a glass of house-made lemonade. And I went home with a half-dozen freshly made chocolate chip cookies.

Six of us had brunch at Breatrix celebrating a birthday. It is very lively with an expansive breakfast menu. Among our selections were omelet, kid's pancake, hash browns, enchiladas to name several. Every item was perfect, served promptly and courteously. The birthday person received a complimentary chocolate cake, enough to share, with a candle. Just a lot of fun.

Went for breakfast , ‘greeted’ by a miserable girl who didn’t want to be at work. Slow service throughout food average at best. Tips, tax, a contribution to running costs amounted to a poor value dining experience. There’s a lot better out there. Try Meli on north wells street, food and service is far better.

Food was certainly good especially the Korean Beef but the service was average with a few staff overrun and many of the other staff appearing ambivalent and doing little to help.

Had a good lunch at Beatrix and boy was the place packed on a Friday afternoon. This location seems to draw more people than the West Fulton location. I also think the food is done better here. That's just me. Kale salad is always good. Even the veg burger was good. Menu is good because everyone can find something to eat.

We had a ton of fun and delicious food. You can't ask for much more than that. Wait staff was attentive and very good. The wait was long, but it was well worth it!

I enjoyed the food, location in downtown Chicago and ambiance. Good service. All recommended for a family and/or friends get together.

We loved everything about this place. The decor, the ambiance, the staff, and especially the food. Do not miss this place! We had the chia bowl and the pot roast egg sandwich (our server's personal favorite). I am so glad I asked his recommendation. The sandwich was perfection. The pot roast alone would have been amazing, add it to an egg sandwich with sweet jalapeno relish and it was incredible.

With so much of options available I was literally confused what not to eat. They have rich mix of all possible combinations available. Veg/Non Veg/ Vegan. I specially like the way the staff is helpful and friendly to all customers.

Our dinner here with friends did not reach the level of forgettable. This is a corporate style operation of a character that at one time could be found in shopping malls in suburbs around the country. The menu choices we tasted were either spicy or overly sweet. Cocktails have numerous ingredients but, seemingly, not much alcohol, Service is perfunctory and we were rushed, which was strange since the very large restaurant was not even close to being filled, This establishment also serves as a coffee shop and I once had a decent breakfast at another Beatrix operation located in nearby NW Hospital, It might be ok for a lunch salad. Desserts are especially over sweet calorie busters topped with what tasted like imitation whipped cream. While inexpensive in absolute terms for the value it is overpriced.

We had a reservation for the restaurant via Open Table. We arrived on time, but still had to wait nearly twenty five minutes. The restaurant was very busy, however there were nearly a dozen open tables. After we were seated, we waited another ten minutes for a server to acknowledge that we were there. On the other side, the coffee was excellent and the food was ok. Lots of other choices in town.

The atmosphere is awesome - the food is mediocre. Ordered chicken and waffles and got 1/2 a waffle and 2 burned pieces of chicken. Mimosas were good! Expensive and the food is not that great.

Was told by a friend to come check this place out - it was fantastic ! The food was perfectly matched with the juices and coffee - staff was on point with information and prompt ! Loved it

The food was very good. Coffee was great. The issue with low rating was the service specifically from the host. Understanding the staffing challenges currently the wait and cook staff were very busy and keeping tables moving. There was 5 young women standing at the front desk giggling and carrying on the whole time doing nothing to help the rest of the staff turn tables. The long wait times were due to them.

We had a delightful lunch at Beatrix. The restaurant was opened to the outside, which was nice for enjoying the warm weather that day. The food was great. I had a delicious ham and cheese croissant with an arugula salad on the side. Others had the green chili chicken enchiladas, smashed avocado toast, and an enlightened Caesar salad. All were excellent. The service was very good. For drinks we had an oat milk cappuccino and mimosa. The restaurant is located with the Aloft hotel but it did not have the feel of a hotel restaurant.

We ate four breakfasts here as guests in the adjoining Aloft Hotel. In addition to standard breakfast fare, the menu includes unusual, imaginative preparations, a welcome change from many hotel restaurant buffets. Avocado Benedict was very satisfying. The traditional English muffin was absent, replaced by an avocado (peeled, halved and seeded). Avocado toast was another winner. Lemon pancakes, cauliflower grits and eggs, and enchiladas were tasty. The variety of delicious pastry items is enticing. Service was excellent; the restaurant attracted guests from outside as well as from the hotel.

Difficult menu, lots of odd choices. Not sure why it’s so successful. My pork sandwich was ok, but the hash brown was just awful. Greasy and flavorless. Must dishes appeared to be too heavy for a light brunch.

I ordered the Mushroom Quinoa burger which I had enjoyed at the Fulton Market location. This time I was disappointed. The sandwich was incredibly salty. The saltiness covered up the other flavors. The fries were floppy and seemed to have been reheated. Overall not the best experience.

We had some family in town and decided to get reservations at Beatrix for Breakfast. As our guests had toddler in tow, we thought reservations may not be necessary as it was kind of early, but wanted to be safe. I am really glad we made the reservations as this place was extremely popular - especially with folks who had children (they had ran out of high chairs (But they provided one as soon as one became available). Although the toddler made quite a mess, both the staff and the other guests around were extremely accommodating and playful, which made for a great atmosphere. We had a variety of dishes including the egg sandwich, tinga tacos, enchilidas, and the belgian waffles - all the dishes tured out to be fantastic. We ended up sharing all the dishes amongst everyone. In addition, we tried a variety of there juices which wasa great way to start the morning.

Freshly squeezed juices were great, portions r huge , food depends on what u order but fresh ... overall good for breakfast but I miss few breakfast staples.. also some dishes were on a spicier side

We were seated within minutes of our reservation and the place was very busy. Service was very good. The waiter was able to describe the dishes including the size of them portions. We both got cocktails: Pour Decisions - very refreshing; and Beatriz Espresso Martini - spot on taste. We shared the green bean appetizer- cooked to perfection- Al dente. For the main we enjoyed the Wild Mushroom Teriyaki bowl - great seasoning; and the mushroom and quinoa burger - very moist and cooked to perfection! Both came out at the same time and served hot. For dessert we tried the caramel pie - very creamy, smooth, and delicious!! We couldn’t finish it all. Highly recommend!! We will be back

We visited Beatrix in River North for Sunday brunch. My wife and I were joined by a couple of friends. This restaurant is handicap accessible. One of our friends is in a wheel chair and the hostess was very accommodating. The food was quite good as was the coffee. I ordered the egg white omelet with extra vegetables and a side of toast. Food tasted fresh as well. The only nit (and this has become commonplace post the pandemic) is that the portions have gotten smaller. Service was great. Our waitress did not try to hurry us along even though there was a steady stream of customers. Overall, a great experience.

Joined local friends for a satisfying brunch while visiting the Windy City. Service is professional and friendly. Generally bustling atmosphere but not noisy enough to drown a normal table conversation. Well prepared food delivered exceptionally fast. I tasted the cauliflower grits and prefer traditional stone ground corn because the cauliflower lends a sulfur flavor and aroma that is disconcerting. Otherwise good choice of venue for reliable service and quality.

I came here on a Saturday morning after making a reservation and had no wait time at all, contrary to other Chicago breakfast spots. The service was great and the fresh squeezed juices (pear ginger pineapple) are amazing. I tried the lemon pancakes and eggs with brown sugar bacon and both were very good! Highly recommend

I went to Beatrix for breakfast twice and went out with a fan. The croissant with ham and cheese and the waffle are the highlights: tasty, well made and quickly reach the table. The pancakes left to be desired, with a strong egg taste. Immaculate service on both visits — on the second day, we still earned a delicious chocolate cookie as a courtesy. A place that delivers well in taste and sympathy.

It is a very famous place and do go with reservation as it is generally busy. The ambience is very nice. The server takes time and explain the dishes. We were too full and yet wanted more. You will find people from all walks of life. We had a super experience.

Excellent place for soups, salads & more. Everything was fresh & tasty. I went for brunch with my daughter. The atmosphere was happy and light. The ambience is good too.

In mid-March for lunch, only half the tables were open so reservations were essential. A menu with a wide range of choices. I had the tuna poke salad which was excellent.

Prices are good. Food is good. Service is good. I had the turkey French dip and it was lovely. My friend had the tuna poke bowl. She enjoyed it. It was a great place to bring me, an out of towner.

Loved the bar. Stopped in for drinks only on the Happy Hour Menu. The also had Happy Hour food but we had other plans for dinner elsewhere. The bartender was very friendly and make some really good drinks. I thought the entree prices were a little steep when I perused the menu. They also charged a service fee due to cleaning during Covid which I found to be unacceptable as other restaurants were not following suit.

We stopped here for breakfast during our trip. The place was really busy but the staff was friendly and our food was really good. They had a good variety on their menu and the coffee drinks were SO good. It’s convenient they have the coffee shop area AND a restaurant for diners. We stopped at another one of their locations for just coffee while walking around and got a HUGE cinnamon roll cookie that was delicious. They had a huge variety of pastries and all of them looked fantastic.

This is a classic "style over substance" kind of place. It looks very modern and nice, the menu has some hipster overtones to it. I was expecting a good meal. The first clue that the experience would be lackluster was the fact that our waitress had not even walked back to the kitchen before our food came out. (She put the order in electronically.) We are talking like less than 2 minutes. Which means everything was in hot hold, not made fresh. That's understandable for some things- like the fancy oatmeal I'd ordered- but not other things, like the sandwich my husband ordered. How long had that been sitting there, waiting to be ordered? It tasted like a long time... Some things are personal preference- like the eggs on the sandwich had been baked in a tray and cut into square opposed to made fresh to order (don't care for that)- but other things were messy. My oatmeal came out with a big slosh of it up and over the side of the bowl, which means pretty clearly that the person who was plating it simply didn't care that it looked messy. Then because our food had come out so fast, we had to wait for our waitress to catch up and bring us the correct cutlery, condiments, and even our coffee came out much later than the food- because that was made to to order. And honestly, the coffee was pretty good. That and the waitress, who did her best and seemed distressed at the way the kitchen had filled the order, are the only reasons for 2 stars instead of 1. The last thing... we'd ordered a side of bacon because it sounded fancy- maple glazed or something like that, and we wanted to try it. It was like the bacon you get in a buffet that was cooked hours ago and sitting in a steamer. Super unpleasant to eat, and I think it was $7 for 3 slices, which really made it unpleasant! I'd go again for coffee, but nothing else.

We went for breakfast. The menu was challenging as everything sounded great. We went for the oatmeal and the yogurt/granola. Both were outstanding. Special and memorable which is hard to do with oatmeal and yogurt/granola. This restaurant is part of the aloft hotel which makes me want to consider staying there just for the proximity to the Beatrix.

The food was okay but the staff seemed to have no drive. We were served hot tea - 10 mins later the milk arrived! One server knocked over a jug of pancake syrup, didn't even say anything and had to be asked to clean it off the floor and replace it. Consequently breakfast took far too long. Wouldn't recommend it.

Great place, great food, great people!! If you came to visit Chicago and you are looking for an excellent ratio between quality and price, this is the right place.

We walked from the Palmer House Hotel to this location for breakfast because it was in a cute neighborhood, and online it looked like a good place to eat. The four of us (two couples) came here on Thursday, August 28, 2025 to have breakfast. The seating inside was half empty. No one was sitting at the outside area despite it being a nice warm sunny morning. We went inside to ask for a table. The young lady snobbily said they couldn't seat us because the kitchen was backed up and it would be an hour to get seated. We wondered what the problem was, because the place was half empty. We said, there are plenty of tables available both inside and outside, when can we be seated? Another staff person said we could be seated in about 15 minutes. We gave a phone number that they would send a text when a table was available. There is no waiting area inside, so we waited outside. After 30 minutes, we still had not been called, even though other people arrived and were seated. A server came outside to seat people on the patio. We asked why couldn't we take a table outside. He didn't know what to do and left. After 45 minutes, we left to go eat at The Smith nearby. About 3 hours later, we received a text that our table was ready. What kind of lame business is this? Just terrible. I recommend staying away from this very disorganized place.

We dined here with family three nights ago. We were impressed so we returned for lunch today. We split the Straight A Salad and the Green Chili and Chicken Enchiladas. Both were quite good. The straight A salad consisted of arugula, avcodo, almonds, Asian pear and asiago. The tacos were excellent also. The atmosphere and the service both were very good. We recommend!

We went for happy hour. Snacks were delicious. We ordered the Tuna rice and whipped feta. Service was phenomenal. Highly recommend.

I'm vegan, so when we travel, finding restaurants that have food for me and my omni husband can sometimes be challenging, so when I found Beatrix, I was excited. Having eaten there, in their comfy chairs, with the wonderful atmosphere, helpful waitstaff, vibrant menu and VEGAN DESSERTS, I can say without a doubt, that if we are ever back in Chicago, our first stop will be here. LOVED IT!

My first time in Chicago and I wasn’t disappointed. Beatrix was around the corner from the hotel and it looked like a nice, decent place from the outside so we decided to go in for Breakfast. Lovely decor and furniture inside and a warm welcome on arrival. Lots of choice on the Menu and the service and food were excellent. Freshly made while you waited, no pre cooked food. Absolutely delicious. I would definately recommend Beatrix to anyone.

We really liked this restaurant. The menu didn’t match the one we saw online which surprised us but it was really good. We tried the cauliflower grits and fried egg. My son had the kale cakes with poached egg and my daughter had the lemon pancakes. I just recommend you make a reservation on the weekend. The wait was about 35 minutes

Honestly, my favorite restaurant of all times! Their straight A salad, chicken Bebe, and beef are my favorites! And of course delicious chocolate cake with a perfect latte! Highly recommend it!!!

Quite a trendy spot with lots of business people in - food was tasty but it was very expensive for what it was and felt a bit too formal for a breakfast.

In the hip Fulton Market area. Clearly very popular. Pastry plus full breakfast (try the baked French Toast ). Don’t think they take reservations.

Food was hit or miss for our family of four. My bacon, egg and cheese sandwich was like powdered scrambled eggs on a hamburger bun. Pay at table with QR code BUT it only takes Apple Pay. Server didn’t seem thrilled when he had to come back for my credit card. Took his time coming back for sure. Average chain restaurant, wouldn’t come back.

A great place with plenty of seats. It looks like a place for business lunches with many formalities. The menu is a bit chaotic for there mix of various foods nn that nn particularly impressed me. However the service was very courteous at a suitable price m.

Nice menu, plenty of interesting options and all the food we ordered was good. Would definitely recommend. Cool environment too!

Nice sidewalk eatery. We had a tasty breakfast while watching the city come to life. The lemon pancakes were terrific!

Service was very slow during a lunch time visit. Food was a bit all show and less substance. Hamburger was average. Crab cake was ok at best. Flavors were not very intense. Much better places to go in Chicago.

Had a wonderful breakfast here. Scrambled eggs tasted wonderful. Also recommend the steak and eggs. Coffee was the best I have ever had in the States

This is part of the Lettuce Entertain You group and it feels a little corporate. Food was good - nothing overwhelmingly great, but all solid. The vegan risotto was good - light and well cooked (a bit al dente, not mushy). Someone had salmon with a chocolate sauce that was surprisingly good and the skirt steak was also good. Large portions - three of us shared a kale salad and each had plenty.

definitely enjoyed my meal; however there weren't enough menu options available with regards to half portions and or more varieties to choose from. Apparently their old menu listed here on Google has outdated pricing information and food options. This evening when I entered the restaurant for the first time the hostess spent a lot of time assisting a customer who was seeking a carry out order. I was very patient and she then took care of a caller for a few more moments so again I waited. I just wanted to tell her I was seeking a table outside but she seemed busy and I could see she might have needed extra help. As I waited I noticed several empty tables outside; but the hostess said I'd need to wait an additional 20 minutes for outside seating so I agreed to join the wait list and took a seat by the juice/coffee bar and decided to try a kale green juice. It was $8 but Google states it's $6.50 regardless it tasted good and I sat comfortably waiting for an outside table to be cleaned. My phone alerted me my table was ready and the hostess approached me and asked me to wait a bit longer as she took care of other guests inside the restaurant. I decided to step outside to wait for her and she showed me a clean empty table where I sat waiting for my server to approach me. I took some time to figure out what I wanted and I picked the ahi tuna tartar and chicken tortilla soup. I would have loved a half portion of their larger salad; but my server stated there are no half portion options. Later on after I ordered i asked another sever about smaller salad options and she said they actually do have tomatoes with arugula for $7.95 but she said my server was new and not completely familiar with all the options here. My tortilla soup was excellent and well portioned. I definitely loved the tomato based broth and rich textures like crunchy chips and well made tender chicken pieces. The ahi tuna however was pretty tiny for the $14.95 I was charged and I really would have appreciated less avocado and much more raw tuna considering the price. I would have also loved a bit of bread 🍞 served with my soup or before my meal but they don't offer bread here. The dinner menu is a bit pricey so a serving of complimentary bread would have been appreciated. I'm leaving 3 stars because the service here was a bit slow and my tuna appetizer just wasn't a good value for the money. Both my dishes were tasty but the prices should be lower if they have tapas style options here. Great place for people watching though! I also noticed the breakfast items listed are more reasonably priced so I'm assuming most people come here to enjoy breakfast and brunch. In summary I felt the hostess was a bit chilly and the fact that I was ignored while she assisted other people and customers on the phone really ruined the mood for me. Two hours after dining here my stomach was grumbling simply because the portions on my oversized plates were so small especially for the amount of money I spent. I paid $8 for a green kale smoothie as I waited for an outside table; then I spent $14.95 for a miniscule portion of tuna tartar and $9.50 for a tortilla soup. Altogether I spent $33 plus a 20% tip for very little food, no bread basket and extremely slow service. I had written a review of my experience here on Google and yelp and an employee at this restaurant sent me a private message via yelp asking me for my phone number so she could reach out to me today; but no one bothered to call. I don't think the managers here realize how disorganized everything is here. Regardless after spending so much money on a meal my stomach shouldn't be grumbling with hunger just two hours after a meal.

Awesome food! I stayed at the hotel that the restaurant is in (Aloft). They made great coffee, juices and eggs! Big fan and I’m sorry I didn’t eat there more.

This was our last night in Chicago for RSNA week. The food was great. I would recommend it to any one who wants a bar/ restaurant feel.

Had the most delicious filet mignon pot roast, melt in your mouth delicious! Very nice restaurant and to die for desserts.

Found at North Side Chicago Pool. Relaxed Mood and very well decorated. Dishes with a lot of creativity. Great place, if you want to try new flavors

$4.00 charge for ice in my cocktail? Do I need to tell you more? If so, then you enjoy being screwed by a restaurant! Oh, TripAdvisor requires 100 characters so...this is the worst screwing by a restaurant since I last visited Italy in 2019. When I protested about the charge for putting my Johnnie Walker Black on ice, the waiter offered some idiotic, and no doubt well practiced reason. Your reason for avoiding this tourist trap is in the headline. Best wishes!

Very busy and nice cozy open atmosphere. Food is good for the price. But the dinner reviews suggested a much better meal. Meal was actually servers too quickly for a relaxing evening.

An omnivore and vegan go to dinner and both leave happy and raving about the food. The cauliflower appetizer is so flavorful! It’s fancy enough for your little black dress and casual enough for slacks and a sweater. Loved it. Great flavors across the board.

Had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. Did not have to wait for an indoor table, which was next to the wall open to the outside. I had the "Wonderful egg omelette" and it was. My husband had the bacon, cheddar, and egg sandwich, which did not disappoint. We had never heard of this place and were pleasantly surprised that there is another location in our suburban area.

We loved the Beatrix and see why it is so popular here in Chicago. We went here for dinner (steak frites and enchiladas were especially good) and also for breakfast pastries (angel foid muffins are good!!). Highly recommend Beatrix to those visiting Chicago!

We enjoyed brunch on a Saturday morning at Beatrix. Lemon pancakes are exceptional. Quinoa cakes with poached eggs and eggs your way are dishes we enjoyed. Our waiter was amazing.

We were looking for a low key place with a light menu with vegetarian options. Our concierge recommended Beatrix. Very interesting menu with many unusual options. We had a very nice meal. It was very lively so I would not recommend for a quiet meal. Service was very good. I would recommend the Ravioli.

Stumbled on this awesome experience because restaurant in hotel didn’t open til 5! I started with the orange mango pineapple nectar and it was the best first drink for the day. I ordered the green Chile and chicken enchiladas and they did not disappoint. It was cool inside as the weather outside was over 100. Great friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Located in the new Aloft hotel. Fantastic cocktails, esp the Tumeric infused bourbon. Brussel sprouts are a must also recommend the Chicken Bebe. Get a side tho. Wonderful service. Would definitely recommend. Part of the Lettuce Entertain You group.

We hit this place for dinner our last night in Chicago and it was great! Super nice staff and awesome food! My 20something son got the regular prime burger ( he has burgers everywhere) and said this was one of the best. The staff was kind enough to make me their quinoa mushroom burger they normally only serve at lunch and it is the best veggie burger I’ve ever had! And like my son I’m on a never ending quest for a good burger - just not a meat one. It was actually crispy - which you almost never get. Also I hate impossible or meat imitation burgers. The fries were also perfect. It sounds like I’m being paid to write this so I’ll leave you with 1 ding - the bakery had vegan items so I got the chocolate chip cookie to go. I make a lot of them myself so I know how easy it is to make a good one but I think the difference here is theirs is also gluten free which I didn’t need. So it was a bit soft and under baked feeling - though I don’t think it was. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a chocolate chip cookie so I ate it, but it came no where near the delicious dinner!

Just went in to grab a coffee, super busy place, everything looked and smelled amazing. Ordered a honey cinnamon latte to go and it was delicious, not to sweet. Would I recommend going? Yes, even just for coffee.

Be sure to try the Bebe Chicken meal....fabulous. A great place to do girl time, couples, family events, or just to chill like we were.

My daughter brought me here to try the banana cold brew she loves and the coffee bar. The Barista was Mario and he was fantastic. So friendly and knowledgeable. We loved the coffee and will definitely be back.

We came here for brunch before shopping. The bloody Mary’s are amazing. The brunch was good I had 80 traditional eggs and sausage breakfast which was good not necessarily exciting. The kale salad is recommended.

We enjoyed our drinks and dinner at Beatrix. The noise level actually allowed us to have a conversation-- what a concept! Everyone's food was fresh and tasty. We would eat there again.

This was a great Saturday experience during our stay in Chicago. We arrived around 8 before the crowds did, and our waitress understood the vibe and suggested mimosas to kick off the day. They hit the spot. The French toast with berries was unlike anything I've had, super sweet and the bread was crisped just right. It had a nice glaze on it that really smacked. The bacon was a little pricey, so when we only got 3 strips as a side I was a little worried...but it was just the right amount! Very rich with the maple coating on it and it melted in your mouth. Recommend for sure!

The food was great, very well seasoned. Was able to sit with my dog on the patio. Loved the decorations and ambience. It was busy, but still good service and good suggestions. Would return. Definitely recommend.

We had breakfast on a Sunday morning. Didn’t have to wait too long and was given a nice table in the back (which was much quieter than if we had sat in the middle of the room). Our server was polite, but quite slow. Not very attentive either. I ordered the eggs and bacon. Bacon was great, everything else was just okay. They have a variety of different breakfast/brunch items that sounded interesting. Very young, hip crowd. Not really not my kind of place. A bit too much if you’re looking for a relaxing Sunday brunch.

We were just passing by and I saw a lady eating a great salad and my eyes just pull me in to the restaurant. We both ate the same salad and it was great, fresh and tasty and well served. Next day we went there again and ask the same salad, it was already 2pm, it was not the same, I think I they run out of ingredients and just put lots of greens and the other stuff was not there or not enough, but still good and still recommend the place,oh and we had the same waitress in both days and she remember that I did not want celery in my salad, amazing.

Make reservations - everything is scrumptious, but the lemon ricotta pancakes KILL. Juices and bloody mary's are great!

It’s like eating outside but with the protection of being inside. The food was wonderful. Ambiance was supreme. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely delicious! We had breakfast here and the lemon pancakes are amazing! Service was great also! S’mores latte sooo good! Even grabbed a bunch of baked goods to go! Definitely coming back

Had breakfast of egg white omelette which was good as well as the cappuccino. Orange juice was fresh squeezed and very tasty. Service was great.

Very nice cafe! Big salads and fresh smoothies! Very friendly staff and atmosphere! Reasonable prices.

I had breakfast here several times throughout a recent stay. The spicy chicken tinga was excellent, along with the omelette. The staff was friendly, service was quick and the restaurant location brings in a mix of location business people and hotel guests.

Great food and service sitting outside on a nice day! We had the mushroom & quinoa burger and the hot honey fried chicken sandwich, both were really nice.

Fantastic spot for breakfast! Our parties had the Migas, Shashouka, breakfast sandwich and the chicken tinga. We all shared the french toast. Everything was perfect and the service was outstanding!

A 20 something hang out... lots of young of business women on cell phones. The menu is restricted to cute items with offerings like "bamboo rice" and Ricotta lemon pancakes, Quinoa burgers and Egg-white omelets, at high prices. If you want to get together with a group of girlfriends, this may be the place.

We stopped by for drinks before dinner. They let us sit outside in their covered area, and were eager to get the heater on for us. Our waiter was very attentive. The wifi didn't work.

We had a pleasant lunch, good food, and excellent service. It was busy but the staff were attentive and helpful

Just had brunch with my sister to celebrate New Year's Day. We both had the Pot Roast and Egg Sandwich (very good) and split the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes (absolutely to DIE for and a must if you come for brunch). We also had the Valencia OJ (best OJ I've had at a restaurant) and my sister had the Banana Joe (which also comes with liquor, if that's your thing). She got one to go it was so yummy. Monica was our waitress and was so friendly and energetic! Would request her next time we come back, which is going to be sooner than later. Great start to 2020 :)

Went here on a beautiful summer day, when they had the walls open. So we had the feeling of being outside without the traffic. The burnt honey chicken came with sautéed spinach and tiny roasted potatoes and was tender and delicious. The salmon with chocolate-chili sauce included a really great almond slaw and corn tortillas. Would definitely order it next time. The skirt steak had a delicious herbal Chimichurri. Generous portion, perfectly cooked. It came with crispy fries that came with a lemon-chili sauce that was unconventional but it really worked. Finished with an angel food muffin from the bakery. Service was excellent. Planning on going to another location near my home soon!

The menu is relatively small, but the offerings are healthy and fresh. The chicken kafta kabob had a delicious herb sauce. The staff is on point. The latte was excellent. We went for lunch on a Monday and were seated right away.

Great food and service. We stayed at Aloft and had breakfast there. Food was really delicious and prices fair. They also had a great variety of pastries and coffee available at all times.

If you are anywhere around Northwestern Memorial Hospital, this is a nice place for brunch or any meal. They are always busy and worth the wait. Their brunch Mexican bar is excellent and we have never had a bad meal here.

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant last week when we were on holidays in Chicago. We are from Ireland and a friend of mine who is from Chicago highly recommended Beatrix. We visited the Beatrix restaurant in Streetersville on our first day in Chicago. We ended up eating there three days in a row! The food was amazing but it was the friendly waiter and manager that we were bowled over by. The manager in particular was the most professional and friendly restaurant manager I have ever met. Our food was a little delayed and (without us even raising any issue), the manager came over and apologised and offered us more tea and coffee. He then arrived with a plate of hummus and bread for us to eat whilst we waited on our food. He chatted to us about Chicago and overall made us feel so welcome. On leaving, the waiter gave us two free cookies to take with us. We both agreed we have never experienced service like this in a restaurant in Ireland or abroad. The manager was a true professional. We went back to the restaurant two days in a row after that. The food is incredible and it is a fantastic brunch spot. I will say that we visited Beatrix in another location in Chicago on our last day and the service was much slower. But it would be hard to beat the staff in Streetersville!

A recommended spot for Sunday brunch on our visit Beatrix was packed though tables are turned fairly quickly and it is a big room with an outside terrace. We had the Eggs Your Way with Turkey bacon and Belgian waffles (no cream) and both were very good. Accompanied by a glass of California Sauvignon and a Mimosa with orange juice. Service was friendly and efficient. A good spot for brunch. The damage €76 including a 3% surcharge which seems to be added in several restaurants we have been to during our visit. Service 20%.

On my trip to Chicago we went here for breakfast and it was lovely. There was two of us and we got Belgium waffles and 'eggs your way'. It was delicious and the staff were lovely. We went on a Sunday before a bears game so it was quite busy.

Came here our first night in Chicago, we were celebrating my birthday. We were given champagne and dessert on the house, not to mention the exceptional service from all the staff. The food was also fantastic. I recommend without any hesitation.

We were sent here with our surprise vacation. At first look, trendy, couches with tables, small bar area, open air in areas. Atmosphere was great. It was myself, 15, and 13 year old. They were concerned at first by looking at menu that nothing they would eat. We ordered fish, chicken, and steak. OMG they were all fabulous and delicious. My margarita was good. The kids even said they would definitely eat here again. So good!

This is for the oak brook location. We were seated quickly and staff was attentive. Our server continued to stop by and fill our water glasses our entire visit.. Would have gotten a 4 but we ordered med burger but ot was delivered dry/well done :( We did not send it back because we had an appointment after lunch. Mushroom/quinoa burger was amazing with or without the saracha sauce.

Erik, Erik, Erik!!!!! What was destined to be an amazing dining experience, this server made exceptional. Delicious cuisine, great atmosphere and Erik…… 5 Star Experience! Happy Birthday Connie Girl!!!!😘🥰😍

The baked good and coffee selections were delightful. A good variety of gluten free & vegan friendly options if you are into that lifestyle. My friend had the burger - which he raved about. I snacked on hummus & got baked goods to go. The bar program was average as well as service.

My son and grandson treated me and my husband to breakfast on Father's Day. The setting was delightful, the service attentive and the food delicious. When I asked for a decaf refill in my half full-full caf cup, the waitress brought me an entire new cup filled with hot decaf! This thoughtful event has never happened to me anywhere else. Only one small recommendation: I ordered a cinnamon roll which was not on the menu. I think it came from the to-go pastry bar. It arrived at room temperature on a too-small plate with a giant lump of cream cheese (?) frosting on top. I think I should have been warned about the cream cheese, or given a larger plate so I had the option of scraping it off. Also, I think I should have been asked it I wanted it warmed. Maybe this happened because it wasn't a menu item. BTW, the cinnamon roll was super yummy!

I decided to dine here after having a great lunch at Beatrix Fulton location. What a disappointment! I was dining solo and they sat me at the worst table near the kitchen and then was ignored by all servers. I had to go to the front to ask to be served and moved to a better table. I ordered the steak frites and I have never seen a thinner steak. Service after that was questionable at best. Only good thing I can say is fries were good. Stay away from this location.

The food rating is a 5 and the service is what I am giving the 3 for. We had a 4:00 reservation and we were finally seated 15 minutes later. We watched them clear tables and not seat us quickly. They were not busy and had staff standing around. We ordered the burrata cheese appetizer, a salad, Avocado Ceviche and a cookie. The food was fresh and delicious! Go there if you have lots of time and patience!

This is a great place for a breakfast business meeting. And if you’re looking for gluten-free options, you’ve come to the right place. I had an egg and grits dish that was really tasty. The service is excellent, with lots of oversight and attention to keeping your coffee full and hot.

Don’t get me wrong, the food was good, but our server was even better. We’d reserved for Sunday night of July 4 holiday weekend but the restaurant had loads of room by the time we arrived. I’d pushed the reservation back a couple of times from the road. We got a great table by the open window to watch the street. We split a salad to start and then went with ribs for me with a substitute of mashed potatoes and fish for the hubs. We had wine, server was happy to get me a good taste to check I liked it. The salad was really tasty, lots of crunchy stuff with interest for the palette but it wasn’t the one we ordered. When the bill came our server comped the salad and brought us a couple of yummy treats to make up for the confusion. We also had a good chat and he really seemed to like his job. We liked him in his job! Will be recommending this place to friends for sure.

We like coming here for happy hour on Fridays! They have a great happy hour with $6 drinks and half off food. LOVE the buffalo meatballs. YUM! We were sat at a table around 4pm (had a reservation) waited a full 10-15 minutes before my husband went to host stand and asked if we were going to have a server. Finally someone came over and she was shocked that we hadn’t been greeted yet. She was fantastic -we had great service once she finally got there!!

We came to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from law school. No mention by the restaurant- nothing. Service seemed off tonight. It was not our first time here. Our daughter picked Beatrix to celebrate. Getting more drinks took a while - never got more water. Food was outstanding as usual. Crispy Brussel sprouts and feta appetizers!! Five stars ⭐️ Blackened fish tacos were good, but expect to make them yourselves and the talapia wasn’t really blackened. Everything with it was good. Everyone enjoyed their food We got cookies for dessert and they both were outstanding!!

Very lively restaurant on weekends. Diverse menu with a lot of options. Everything we had was good except the pancakes because the syrup was very watery.

Absolutely delicious! I made a reservation again for the next day, I had to go back. There was so much I wanted to try. I would definitely recommend this restaurant—obviously.
Excellent service and food
Went here for dinner 2x last week. Was so great the first time that we went back. Excellent food, service and drinks. Brussel Sprouts and cookies! But seriously the burgers, 5 A salad and pasta were also great. Located in the hospital building, but on the street, so I did not expect much. I was very wrong.
