Friendly and helpful staff but the restaurant has a cafe/breakfast bar type of feel which is at odds with its more up market menu...at least for dinner. Prices are quite good but I found the wine expensive for a cafe type place, normal for a more upmarket place. The menu features some interesting items. The Beaumont Salad as a starter could fee 4. The pork chop with caramelised brussels sprouts and baked sweet potato was delicious. My husband had salmon which he also thoroughly enjoyed and we shared a chocolate mousse cake which was very tasty. You wouldn't expect this kind of menu in this kind of restaurant...and I think most people would drive right past simply because of the way it looks from the outside..which is a shame.

Really enjoyed lunch at Beaumonts - we were driving around after a visit to Mission Bay, and decided to head north toward La Jolla, so glad we did. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was just terrific; we split a BLT, and one of us had salad, the other had soup (pork). All was great, we'd highly recommend it

Lovely lunch with visiting family at a dog friendly restaurant with great indoor/outdoor seating. Excellent salads and sandwiches. Good service in a relaxed friendly environment.

Came for Dinner with reservations on a Saturday night when they have live music starting at 9:15 pm. We were a party of 5 and Jared took care of us. He was helpful and attentive to what we needed. This place I guess could be a foodie type place as it is great to share dishes which we did but the $$ add up quick. I loved the Rigatoni Bolo all freshly made, keep it clean salmon as delicious but too small to share with 5. Carnitas lettuce wraps were tasty, roasted squash delicious, Brussels sprouts crispy like like them and tasty, crab bombs good, Drinks were OK $10-$12. Loved the gelato bon bons for dessert. cost $260 with tip for five, yikes. Music was good as well with couples dancing.

Not many places are open late in La Jolla for a meal. Parking is easy. It is a neighborhood type place with a good amount of food options. Service was disappointing. Guess we weren't locals so it didn't matter. Many empty tables with dirty plates just left out. We were offered seats inside, but the seats were dirty and fairly run down. Was hoping for more. Has a nice outside seating area that seems like it is capable of making people comfortable during all seasons,

Had the salmon; it was delicious; for $27. My wife had the chicken cooked in sea salt ($14); it was too salty and not very good. We both had two glasses of wine. For dessert we tried the Bananas Foster Bread pudding ($9); plenty big for two; flavor was good; they did not make it into a tableside performance as a flambé. Total before tip was $72...kinda pricey. They have a live 3 piece band on Saturday evenings; was fun to listen to. Street parking only and hard to find.

Had a really fun Friday evening at Beaumont’s. They have live music late in the evening which was lively but a little loud because the place is pretty small. We did eat dinner before the music started, it was good bar food - nothing special or memory worthy. Fun night but not because of the food.

Family of 4 brought our teenagers. Everyone enjoyed every single bite. Husband says he will never forget the Brisket Burger. Crispy salmon was perfect. I had the Prawn risotto. We also recommend trying the grilled octopus. Great spot for foodies.

This contemporary American restaurant figured it out! The place seems divided in 2 with bar and high tables on one side and booths and regular tables on the other. Atmosphere is very nice. Food is excellent. I have never seen so many family with small kids in bar. Clearly a local place. Must go if you have kids or not! Try the duck tacos!

Good atmosphere and service. The Don’t you Judge me drink was very strong and can sneak up on you forget mimosas this was way better. I had the chilaquiles and they are amazing and authentic. Located in a great area of local shops and restaurants, you shouldn’t pass this one up.

We (2) arrived without a reservation on a Thursday night around 6:45, we were promptly seated and before long our orders were taken, I had the Fresh Catch of the day and my husband had the paella, which was not rice but a pasta that was bigger than couscous. Both dinners were very delicious, service was friendly and efficient,. We topped it of with a shared Guinness Chocolate Cake, which was very tasty and not too sweet. I would recommend this restaurant to fellow diners. Be prepared that this is a bar and grill, with lots of boisterous people out for an evening!

My wife and I bought out Beaumont's completely to host our wedding reception last month. As a very local place this was their first wedding reception ever. Beaumont's did an AMAZING, professional, classy job. I can't thank everyone there enough: owner Dave Heine, the friendly and gifted GM Brandon Gresham, Head Chef Scott, bar manager Gavin, and the many smiling and caring Beaumont's staff members who took such care with every perfect detail. The food was plentiful and exquisite, the size of the venue perfect for our 85 guests (although they could've easily handled a couple dozen more. Thet created a whole new dinner menu, even special wedding cocktails, just for us. They have some wines, like Minassian Young Black St. Peter, which are virtually unobtainable in other San Diego venues. Our guests uniformly have called our reception at Beaumont's the most fun they've attended. Great job!

Got here early and walked the pretty neighborhood, then got a nice table on the sidewalk on a beautiful morning. I had the (huge) meat lovers breakfast bowl, she had the salmon bowl and our friend had the Chilaquiles. All large portions, all really good Service was very attentive, people (and dog) watchers will enjoy the views.

We ate brunch here on a Sunday trip to La Jolla and came away both filled and satisfied. The Eggs Benedict was fine and the large crowd was relaxed. Patrons were mostly young adults, some of whom had small children, with a few older couples thrown in. A soulful young woman with a guitar delivered songs from a seat near the front of the room. Neither the selection nor the style were quite to my taste and I eventually found a location where conversation was not drowned out. The vocal session was not too long and most people seemed genuinely appreciative of the experience. Pleasant wait staff and a variety of seating both inside and outside. Walking the flower filled alleys nearby rounded off our sojourn above the sparkling blue Pacific.

Really good food. Great variety. Our waiter was excellent. So glad we stopped in. Nice selection for happy hour, food and drinks.

This casual restaurant is amazing. I am still dreaming of the pork belly with watermelon salad. It was delicious. My husband had the bacon wrapped grouper, wow! They are friendly and efficient. The chef came out to make sure everything was satisfactory. Loved the whole experience.

I absolutely love Beaumont's! All of this staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is great and the atmosphere is super fun especially on Friday and Saturday nights as they have great bands playing and I love to dance. I really enjoy bringing my friends to Beaumont's because I know they're always going to have a great experience. Thank you Beaumont's, you're my happy place!

We've eaten here twice, and will eat here many more times. I've had high end, sophisticated dishes with complex flavor profiles and beautiful plating, and the burgers are also good. Everything you could want. Satisfies my higher end sensibilities and my tween/teens insatiable low brow hunger. My son tasted the burger and said "this belongs in a museum" and that might be said for the sea bass I had too. Some of the dishes are rock solid without being blow you away, but the service and friendly owner are fantastic, and the music keeps you so happy.

We went for the band “ the Redheaded Strangers” fun country band. The drink prices were okay, however they did have Porter on tap which is a definite plus. The Lively crowd really makes a good time. The negative is the kitchen closed at 10pm and we were there at 10:08. I understand a kitchen closing, however as being a Restaurant Primarily they should offer something. People will be drinking for hours more, offer chips or popcorn something would be nice. Would I return? Yes. If I plan on Eating Anything, now I know Before 10PM.

Our appetizer of beer batter Tomatillo green tomatoes were outstanding along with the calamari & fried lemon slices. The main course of Sea Bass cooked on a bed of Hay wash outstanding! The Chef brought it out to show us how it was cooked & explained the hay smoke process. Very unusual satisfy able flavor. The fish was presented on a bed of fresh vegetables. The wine selection also superb to accommodate our meal. Don't miss this experience.

There was an issue honoring our reservation. The food was hit or miss. Some dishes were on the salty side. The wait staff was friendly, though the service was average.

I went to Beaumont's twice in one week, and we got the artichokes to go two more times! I like that there are options for seating. You can sit out on the tented sidewalk (opened in nicer weather), in the bar area or the dining area. The happy hour goes from 3:00-6:30, which overlaps with the dinner, which starts at 5. We started with happy hour both nights and ran right into dinner. There are several selections on the HH menu. The chips and guac were especially good, and the sliders looked amazing but we didn't order them. The white pizza was tasty as well, but the carnitas lettuce wraps were just OK. My husband had the Beaumont's burger which was juicy and amazing. I had a chopped salad which was very good, and someone else had the vegan plate which was a healthy portion. I probably don't even need to mention the artichokes, but they are to die for. Grilled and buttery, served with clarified butter and bernaise sauce. This is my new place in Bird Rock!

What a nice neighborhood place. Food has gotten better. Wife had local Halibut, I couldn’t say no to the Viking burger. Man! Really nice. The bruschetta as an appetizer was a little soggy but still ok. They have some great virgin special drink. Not too sweet, not too sour. Very refreshing. Starting at 9pm it’s getting really busy. Why? Life music is starting. We have been here several times. Always great bands and even a little dancing area. You have to try it!

Nice casual atmosphere with good service. Drinks were a little overpriced but tasty & the food we had for lunch was quite good.

I recently was married in San Diego and we did a brunch for 30 people at The Beaumont. Our experience was incredible. They sectioned off 1 side of the restaurant for us. We had baskets of danishes and pastries, and also beautifully designed fruit plates on the table as we arrived. We also had the best fesh squeezed OJ i ever had. The entrees were all spectacular and I suggest their famous Coast Toast which is the best French Toast ever. The service was impeccable as they were totally attentive and catered to every guests need. A special thanks to Jennifer Olsen-Davis the Office Manager that set up our event and to Shelly the Restaurant Manager.

Before seeing Star Wars at the Lot, enjoyed family brunch at this outstanding restaurant. The food was great. The atmosphere was very enjoyable. The service was excellent. Everyone in our group enjoyed there food. I had scrambled eggs and they were done to perfection. You will enjoy your experience here.

One of my favorite La Jolla restaurants. This is our "date nite" place. Good food, good service, cozy. You can catch a game if you sit at the bar. They often have live music. I like the habanero infused pineapple margarita. Yum!

Very expensive food that is average in quality. I have been here plenty of times to say this sort of remark. Yet somehow I keep returning to see if the food and the service get better. The good thing is they are very consistent . They have a pretty good wine and happy hour selection . It is so close to my home I keep going back. Near the beach, neighbor hood is fantastic!

I loved the food here, as did my family. There was something for all of us. The bartender, Alexis, was super, filling in as our server, too. The chef created a special dessert for us to share that melted in your mouth.

We dine at Beaumont's every time we come to the San Diego area. The food is consistently delicious whether it be for happy hour snacks or a scrumptious dinner and Chef Tommy never fails to provide an exquisite

I led in Birdrock when this place opened, and brought my daughter here today. Lovely kids menu and great fish tacos for me. Still quaint and friendly Birdrock staple.

I used former reviews to make a dining decision in the Bird Rock area of La Jolla. The comments from previous diners gave me the confidence to choose Beaumont's. The hostess greeted us immediately. The staff (both server and management) were attentive and checked back regularly. Service was timely. The food was delicious. Automobile parking was a challenge, however. Across the street from Beaumont's there are signs for 15 min. parking and 2 hour parking. Restrictions for all are lifted at 6:00pm, so a 6:00pm reservation turned out to be perfect.

They have the best chilaquiles in town. The only downside is that they only serve them for brunch on the weekends. This are not your typical chilaquiles, the have a modern twist but you will love them. They have scrambled eggs, poblano peppers, and the chilaquiles on top.

We did a quick tour of La Jolla and looked for a place to eat. This place has the appearance of a dive bar, but looks can be deceiving. The menu has many interesting sandwiches, wraps, pizza, and other dishes. We ordered a few sandwiches and wraps, and my younger daughter ordered a simple pasta dish. The sandwiches and wraps were excellent, very possibly the highlights of our day. We would highly recommend the grilled chicken sandwich, the cilantro chicken wrap, and the BLT. The plain pasta was average. The portions are quite large, so if you are not all that hungry, you might want to consider sharing.

Awesome food and great service!!! I had the carnitas lettuce wraps and my daughter had the cilantro chicken wrap. Highly recommend both!:)

My husband and I have eaten here a couple of times before and enjoyed it each time. Recently we went there on a Wednesday night with two of our adult daughters. The restaurant was pretty busy but we were able to park right outside. We chose to sit on the covered patio and the seating was comfortable and protected. One of our daughters was caught up at work and arrived later than the rest of us, but the restaurant seated us straight away and were attentive and accommodating while we waited. The Korean Street Tacos starter was a wonderful blend of flavors and we highly recommend it. For our entrees we had the delicious Crispy 12 hour Pork Shoulder, Little Gem Caesar salad and Pan Seared Scallops - all were perfect. We had the delicious Creme Brûlée of the day for dessert. I also recommend the Caribbean Queen mocktail for those not wanting alcohol. What really makes this restaurant special, however, is the wonderful service. Everyone works together to ensure nothing is forgotten and each diner is happy. My family love little local spots, off the beaten path and with easy access. Beaumont's completely fits the bill.

This is a "must do" neighborhood restaurant which serves up GREAT Mary's, & breakfast. A wonderful place to spread out and read the NY Times. The service is always attentive, food delicious, and drinks not be missed. Even live entertainment at times, but still you are able to chat comfortably. The outside tables are very pet friendly! Lunch and dinner also served....but breakfast is our favorite.

I have been to this restaurant many times and its great. They have a band that plays every couple of weeks. You can feel comfortable if you are by yourself or with a group. Also, they have a menu geared to kids too.

Sunday features a great brunch, local dogs & great jazz group indoors by the bar. We also ate lunch here mid-week and found the food both nouveau, well prepared and presented. In all worth finding near Bird Rock.

Nice outdoor patio. Inside it can feel a bit like a sports bar but there is a section away from the bar and TVs. The food is excellent - more than meets the eye. Both lunch and dinner have been excellent. At times it seems the service is a bit stretched; at our dinner on a slow night it seemed there was only one waiter and he kept apologizing for everything taking too long, but maybe that was an aberration. Parking on La Jolla Blvd was pretty easy. We'll be back.

This is just a real great place for a high quality meal in a casual atmosphere. This is a huge favorite with the locals. That says it all !

After a full day enjoying La Jolla, we looked forward to trying Beaumont's in the Bird Rock area. The hostess greeted us immediately and offered a few choices of tables. It was nice to have special pricing for bottled wine on Wednesdays. Forgoing the typical salad, we enjoyed Beaumont’s Brussels Sprouts. My husband ordered Beaumont Burger - it was good quality beef with a large amount of French fries. My entrée was the Local Halibut with sweet potato puree and fried leeks. The halibut was prepared nicely and tasted delicious. Initially our server was attentive, but as the meal progressed, it seemed she was more interested in chatting with her co-workers. The manager was very friendly and helpful.

A girlfriend and I stopped in for a bite to eat on a Sunday early afternoon and were really impressed with the great menu and live music! We enjoyed an appetizer of wicked good thick fluffy pancakes with maple syrup and a house made fresh berry preserve. Our entree was a very tasty breakfast (served until 3 PM)omelette and Signature Eggs Benedict. Can't wait to return and try the dinner menu and the interesting cocktails!

We had a family gathering in April (recommended by a local nephew) and the staff was super accommodating with fourteen of us as walk-ins! We eat here every time we're in Bird Rock, and although the food isn't fancy, but it's consistently good. You can get pretty much anything you have a hankering for; from guacamole to burgers to great salads. I highly recommend. It's good value.

Went here on restaurant with my boyfriend. Everything was great until I got my entrees. I ordered the Salmon and made sure to say I wanted rare Salmon because I am picky eater whenever I get Salmon. It came out Welldone and I had to send it back. The server was great, very friendly but it was a little awkward when he was standing at the table and waited for me to try my salmon to make sure it cooked probably. I would go back to try more dished they have.

Beaumont’s is one of our favorite restaurants and bars in La Jolla. The food is always good with a menu that ranges from healthy to comfort food. The bar is always busy and serves good cocktails. And, on weekend nights, they have live bands after 9pm. The brunch on weekends is also good.

We visit this locally-owned neighborhood restaurant periodically, and are always warmly greeted by the owners - Megan and Dave - when they are present! The bar is busy and Gavin the bartender is very friendly and accommodating. The happy hour drinks and food are excellent. The flat bread options are delicious and the guac-a-mame is terrific (although we always order it without the chips). The fresh baked bread is a favorite. Every server is knowledgeable, friendly and energetic. The menu ranges from salads and small dishes to large dishes. The ingredients are always fresh and each dish a unique treat. We especially like the grilled fish tacos and the lettuce wraps during the summer, and the cioppino or fish stew during the winter months. There is a special vibe that is enhanced by the relaxed, jazzy music. They often have live music in the evening. Ample, free street parking.

A friend who used to live near La Jolla told us to go to Beaumont's for breakfast, and it was worth seeking it out while en route to La Jolla from downtown San Diego. It's in Bird Rock, and we enjoyed the drive through the beach neighborhoods on the way to La Jolla. We had to park on a back street, and it was good we got there by 9am on a Saturday morning because it got real busy real fast. But we got a seat outside (the inside is very nice and zen-like; they are known for good dinners and live music as well), and loved the local vibe while drinking excellent coffee. My husband ordered what he said was the best breakfast he ever had--I believe pork huevos rancheros benedict. I had the famous -in-SoCal chilequilas--lots to eat, homemade chips. The waiter said they were the best chilequilas he's had and I did want to try them. (I really enjoyed them, but I am more of an eggs for breakfast person!) We would go back to Beaumont's for sure.

We went to Beaumont's for lunch, the super friendly waitress advised us to take their new "it" dish: the fish tacos plate. Food was just OK, the ambiance is perfect for families with kids, prices are fair, parking is easy. I doubt i shall be back...i did not get impressed by the food quality, but i want to highlight that all the staff is very helpful. Birdrock does not have that many nice restaurants...so Beaumont's does not have much competition.

Brunch was very mediocre this time. I had their signature burger with fries. The fries had no seasoning whatsoever; nice and crisp but taste like nothing. A dash of salt after frying is a beautiful thing; dry fries cannot hold any salt. Burger is a blend of three meats but without any seasoning pretty meh.The burger bun was toasted but no butter/dressing on either half of the bun; no condiments offered except a tiny bit of ketchup. Hmm. My friends had egg scrambles with toast...dry toast. No butter on the toast, no butter on the table. The "butter" we had to request was not butter. Out of a table of five, three of us agreed we're not giving it a third try.

Explosion of flavor with the adoba tacos. Very good meat flavor. Very good combination of sauce and sour cream. The tees leches cake was a bit dry, taste was OK.

They're only open for breakfast on the weekends. One of their specialties is their French Toast and their Coaster. The French Toast is a Bread and Cie Baquette soaked in cream and baked. Take your mind off the calories and just enjoy. It's like they infused the bread with cream cheese! Add your own side of bacon or sausage, neither will steer you wrong. Good, friendly service. A must do if you're visiting LaJolla or feel like driving to Bird Rock from San Diego.

Loved that we could eat outdoors on a warm summer night. Enjoyed the atmosphere, band was pretty good, and the food was great. Roasted Brussels Sprouts is a must! The baby beet salad with whipped goat cheese was yummy. Flatbread was amazing. Enjoyed having a mix of different dishes. Next time I go back I will bring friends that enjoy seafood, plenty of choices if you don't.

I liked the vibe of this place, and the service was great. The restaurant is very open, and gets a great breeze through there (which was a bonus, as it was hot and humid the day we went). It wasn't very crowded, as it was just before lunch on a Thursday, so we got some great service from start to finish. The food, however, was just decent. To start, we got an order of the chips and "guaca mame", as well as the poke "mame" to share. The guac was okay, but the edamame part of it was a bit grainy, which threw the texture off a bit. The poke wasn't my favorite. The fish pieces were a bit too large - to fit on the chip, to share with a table - to be enjoyable, and it was also served on top of a bed of the edamame puree. The chips were tasty, though. I went with the mahi tacos, and my friend got the cauliflower tacos. We split the tacos between us, so we each had a fish and cauliflower taco per person. They were okay, a bit uninspiring. The two sauces they provided with the tacos were the most flavorful piece of the plate, which should say something about the flavor of the rest of the meals. The other two people in my group seemed to enjoy their meals, but one was a bowl of soup and the other was a BLT. You can't really screw those things up, right? It was a great spot for socializing and hanging out, and maybe for adult libations. But I don't think I'd go back for a meal anytime soon.

We were in a hurry to catch a play and dropped in on a Saturday night aroung 6:15 pm. The restuarant was moderately busy, but we were seated immediately and explained the situation. The waiter recommended a couple of dishes that could be prepared quickly (seared ahi and scallops) and we were very pleased with our selection. Lots of alternative seating arrangements and very family friendly. Also had live music later in the evening.

I came across a review of Beaumont's on a La Jolla mom's blog. She didn't disappoint. I was looking for a place where me, my husband and our 14 mo. old could eat dinner early, decently priced, and get good food. We were very happy with our trip to Beaumont's. They have some pretty good happy hour prices on wine and beer, as well as some small plates. So that is a bonus. Decent offering on kids meals, in terms of both variety and price, and I'd say at 5-6 PM - most people eating there were all families. Good sign. As to the food and menu? My husband ordered some fish and ceviche and said it was tasty, and I had something I longed for... just plain food. After being "out" on vacation and eating in restaurants, my body just wanted some plain food - no sauces, no bells and whistles. And I got it. They have this option (Just Clean? or something like that...) You can get grilled chicken or fish, steamed veggies and quinoa. It was perfect. I had a lovely sea bass, some steamed broccoli and quinoa and I didn't feel awful like I ate a stick of butter. Well done. Service was good, though a little slow on getting the food out. But other than that, family friendly and very accommodating. Would definitely go again.

I have eaten here in the past and enjoyed it. This time I was disappointed. Asked what the soup of the day was, " Short rib vegetable. Ordered this and what came was tomato Mediterranean. When I questioned another waitress she said sorry that was yesterday. In other words " too bad." Also had the regular hamberger. No taste, just dry and boring. Need to get the basics right guys.

Beaumont was recommended to us from a friend who frequents San Diego. It didn’t disappoint. The staff and food was amazing. Live band which kids loved. Definitely worth a visit!

Went to Beaumont"s cuz the wife was hungry and she darted into an open parking space. Zero prior research. It was around noon on a Sat so they were serving brakfast and lunch. I asked our waitress how to pronounce "Chilaquiles" and what 2 of the ingredients were : Rajas and Queso Oaxaca. (Rajas are peppers and the Queso Oaxaca was the cheese sauce.) She said it was great and it was great. Wife had the Fish Tacos and they were excellent too. They were out of Porter so I ordered an IPA at the manager's recommendation (and I don't like real hoppy beer) but it was excellent too. Kori had a "don't Judge me" cocktail , also very good. The food was so good that after BSing with Sandy for a bit we decided to change our flight home and spend another night so we could have dinner there and breakfast the next day. Never done that before. At any rate, had the windandsea chicken, risotto, grilled artichoke appetizer, salads and all were top notch. We were beat so didn't stay to hear rhe band, but were there at 1000 AM for breakfast. Wife had the Chilaquiles and I had the Chili relleno. Very good again. The "Keith Richard" quadruple expresso was pretty tasty. One minor nit: the bar tender at night is slow and he apparently was too lazy/busy to actually muddle the mint in one drink or put the rasberries and blueberries in the other drink. The not so minor nit, and I hope the managment reads this cuz I really hestitated to give this place a 5 star, is the men's room morning and night is poorly lit, and not very clean...like a fast food restaurant in a sketchy neighborhood. Sorta spoils a grest casual vibe and most excellent food.

Beaumont's has a lively vibe and wonderful staff! Live music is an absolute bonus in this very cozy establishment! We went for drinks and music; I would recommend ordering a narcissist to drink if you like whiskey...refreshing and tasty! Such a great place....I can't wait to visit, again!

We are Canadian "snow birds" visiting La Jolla for a month to escape our cold country! We found warm weather, warm people and delicious food and service at Beaumont's! We rented a condo right across the road and fully enjoyed our access to Beaumont's. Unique menu, live music, great hospitality and make everyone feel "part of" this amazing community! I highly recommend it!!!

We had dinner at this wonderful restaurant. They have a patio in front that is dog friendly and they make you and your pup feel very welcome. Food is terrific and very creative. I loved the Pan Roasted Jidori Chicken Breast - interesting combinations that worked well together. Portion sizes are generous. Be sure to make a reservation - very popular place

Sweet, inviting place with outdoor dog-friendly patio. Great menu; the grilled cheese benedict (who thought that up? I love you!) was unusual and incredibly delicious. Great bloody marys and micheladas. Also live acoustic music for Sunday brunch.

Great eats service a tad slow to start with but it all warmed up well. Shared starters were great. Great Burger had by two and some great indulgent salads had by others. Very quiet on Sunday night and we were the last ones out at 9.30! Really love the area I must say.

I really enjoyed the food...I got breakfast burrito and my husband got the greek omelet. Both were fresh and very tasty. I just found the singer to be OK and it was so loud with the restaurant noise and music. Hard to have a conversation. Maybe next time I'll sit on the patio!

When we visited this restaurant, we were looking for a light meal. We made a meal of three delicious appetizers with the Trio of Sliders being our favorite. We also enjoyed their margaritas, both the Lime and the Pomegranate flavors. Delicious. Service was good for a busy Saturday night. We'd go back.

Beaumont's is a comfortable, cozy restaurant with a menu that has something for everyone. The food is very good and the prices are reasonable for San Diego/La Jolla. There is definitely a friendly vibe at Beaumont's, which makes it all the more appealing. We plan to return on the weekend to enjoy the music and dancing!

Go to Beaumont’s. Grab a bar seat. Talk to the people next to you: an Attorney, a retired Chief of Police, a Realtor, a college student. Then listen. Through fantastic pure humor you will learn the cause and solution to life.

We stopped here while just out and about in a little stint in San Diego. We had read good reviews and decided to give it a try. We sat in the open patio out front and several other tables had dogs... a great way to get out with your pet! Our dinner was better than expected, and everything was well prepared. The service was a little slow with only 2 servers, but we were on vacation and so it didn't affect us much. A great place... we will be back on our next trip the Bird Rock!

Small place with great service and wonderful food- very fresh and well-presented. Highly recommend this place for casual get-togethers.

We were referred to Beaumont's from a couple on the beach (Neptune). We split an awesome Viking Burger, enjoyed two glasses of Malbec and the delicious chocolate cake. There was an unusual mishap with our bill and processing. The manager stepped in and resolved the matter beyond expectation. Outstanding management. We will come here every time we come down from Idaho. LaJolla is our new favorite goto in San Diego. Thank you Gavin for Superior Management!

I go to Beaumont's at least every other week. Their burger is to die for and happy hour is from 3 to 6:30, excellent to go and have an early drink. The staff is consistently friendly and the menu doesn't change much, which I happen to like.

Referred by a local, we enjoyed a great lunch. The brie nini-panini with apple & prosciutto was wonderful as was the kitchen sink salad. Waiter was very accommodating & substituted the Tomato Bisque for the side salad. Will definitely return.

We stopped in for lunch, nice place, trendy, but nice. had the soup and 3 kale salad, and added chicken for the protein. very tasty, and service was good.

We always try to make a trip to Beaumont's when we come to San Diego. It's a great local eatery. Reservations are not required on weekdays. The food is pretty good. They added some new things to their menu which I think is a big plus (filet, salmon, cheese board etc.). I really liked their rigatoni bolognese and my mom always orders the scallops. We also always get the Shishito Peppers. They're killer. We love this place because it's casual, there's usually no/minimal wait, parking is easy, and they have nice covered outdoor seating options. Will it be the most spectacular meal on your trip? Probably not. But for what Beaumont's is, it's pretty good. I recommend.

The staff are very attentive and friendly, the live band on Saturday nights are a ton of fun if you don't mind being packed in a bit by crowds have fun and a tight dance floor, they have a full bar, great wine, and the food is very good. My favorite thing to eat is the Ahi. It's definitely the best Ahi appetizer in La Jolla. The green sauce and large pieces of fancy crackers are perfect accompaniments to the ahi. If you want a quieter option on a Saturday night, they have a larege covered seating area before you enter the indoor part of the restaurant.

We had just arrived in LaJolla and had heard good things about Beaumont’s so decided to try it. We enjoyed the outdoor seating and the wonderful breeze. Our waitress was very nice who we enjoyed visiting with. I had their charbroiled burger which was delicious. It had a crispness along with the toasted bun. My husband enjoyed the fried shrimp tacos. I think we will be going back again before we head back home. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Casual, friendly with great service. Patio is very pet friendly. Great brunch food without humungous portions. Loved the eggs benedict.

Beaumont's is a great place to eat and listen to music. Dave, the owner does a great job of selecting the music and Gavin is my favorite bartender. Great food and music. Definitely a must.

beaumonts is a very good place to eat at. This place serves great brunch and dinner. Also beaumonts has a live band come in after dinner. Also the food is amazing, and the service is great. The food would always come out on time and no problem. the atmosphere if the restaurant is also amazing there is an outdoor seating place, bar, high booth, booth and it is very modern. beaumonts is located In the center of bird rock so you could walk to the beach. Over all I would recommend this restaurant to family and people who are on vacation. But I think anyone would like beaumonts.

This was our breakfast stop before heading to the beach on the Fourth of July. Immediately we were greeted by a friendly and hospitable staff. I was impressed with the quality of service. One member in our party received his order wrong and was slightly rude but the servers handled it in a professional respectful manner. I was pleased with the service and their consistency in customer service. The food was also phenomenal! Thank you for a great atmosphere and dining experience. I highly recommend this place and if you have a dog it is dog friendly!

The food is always fun, and the service is always great. The chef likes to use local foods and is willing to take chances with his ingredients. If we lived in La Jolla this would be a regular haunt for us. Can't wait to go back! The bird rock area is quite eclectic, and the folks in this area (including those that work here) are always very friendly. Sit on the patio.

Some friends took us out for lunch while we were in town. I wasn't expecting much, but all of our food was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate a very simple request. I don't live in San Diego, but if I did, this would be a favorite.

We treated several family members to an evening out and it did not disappoint. We started with the special, $ 25 bottle of wine and a varied selection of menu items. Everything we ate was fresh and scrumptious. The wait staff was fabulous as we had a leisurely meal out. I can't wait to return.

Found this little place just before enjoying a sunset from La Jolla. Burgers and fish were good, good value for money, the staff was nice as well. The bar side of the place is also very nice, good atmosphere and nice people.

We were visiting in La Jolla and were taken to Beaumont's and had a super brunch. Great Bloody Marys and one thing you should try is the fried chicken and waffles ! Fantastic !! Service was great and we were seated on the spot.

I stopped in for a quick bite and had a good lunch. I ordered the 1/2 cuban sandwich with 1/2 chopped salad. The cuban is more like a cuban-style panini (versus a real cuban sandwich) and it was good, but not great. The chopped salad had a nice mix of items in it and it was tasty, but not great. I'm glad I didn't order the full version of either of them as it was a nice mix to have halves of each. Overall, not over-impressed with the food but wouldn't be opposed to going back again if someone wanted to go there. The server was friendly and attentive as well as other staff.

This place hands down has the best food and a great atmosphere! We really enjoyed our food here and we're so glad we found it! This place rocks!

My wife and I visited with a friend and we both had the grilled fish tacos and we both thought they were very dry. It might have just been a bad day for the kitchen but for the price, we should have received perfectly cooked fish! The restaurant has a comfy vibe going on and the rest of the menu looks delicious so we will try it again and hope for better results!

After staying in a vacation rental in La Jolla Village for 2 weeks, we spent our final 2 weeks in Bird Rock. Beaumonts is one of only a handful of restaurants in this village so was handy to walk to for food and a couple of drinks. On our 2nd visit, I'm assuming because it was quiet, our main courses arrived and were plonked down whilst we were still eating our soup. Not something that a decent restaurant would do I thought, but never the less the main - burgers were quite tasty and we gave them the benefit of the doubt. We decided because there was live music on the following Friday to reserve a table. We orders starters and for main I ordered Chicken and my husband ordered the Scallops which came with Corn and 'English peas and tendrils'. My husband asked if he could have the fingerling potatoes as a side (these accompanied another main course) bearing in mind we already knew that they didn't do substitutions but were prepared to pay for the side. The waitress said she didn't think so but would enquire! She came back from the kitchen and said the Chef said NO!! For goodness sake it wasn't as if he had to source it from scratch. The only other potato side on the menu was Goats Cheese Mashed Potatoes and, as my husband doesn't like goats cheese he didn't bother. When the main came there were 3 scallops - quite large I grant you but the dish looked small, even to us who do not have huge appetites. Quite expensive we thought at $26! This has been the only restaurant during the whole of our month long stay where it appeared the chef came first and not the customer - other restaurants and we've eaten out most nights, from casual to fine dining restaurants have always been flexible if required. I would also add than on previous visits my drinks (the same drinks) were $7.50 each - last night they were $9.50! We couldn't even be bothered to query it and decided to vote with our feet. We may come back to La Jolla but wont be back to Beaumonts.

I'm truly amazed there are reviews calling this place fit for foodies. Our meal was equivalent to bar food. Even the fries were ordinary. We sat inside but had to leave due to screaming kids in the booth next to us. We moved outside next to a loud, drunk group of couples. We basically ate as quickly as we could to leave. Our waiter was friendly but very unprofessional. He seemed like a surfer turned waiter at night. He was not very informed about the details of the menu. Of our ten nights in the area, this was the only bad meal of our vacation.

They have terrific burgers. The place has a nice atmosphere also. You shoul try 'le beast' burger for sure. We totally like it.

So impressed with how inviting they were with little kids. We enjoyed the mussels for appetizer which was delicious! Our entrees were okay with the shrimp risotto good but not great and the big eye tuna being a little overcooked. The service was so amazing and the live music was great!

Small plates and a good selection of wine, beer, and mixed drinks made for an enjoyable evening. We’re always satisfied when we visit there especially at happy hour. If you want good food and drinks, this is the place for you.

My husband and I were just out for a walk and decided to drop in for a snack (and a mimosa!) Sat outside and enjoyed the great SoCal weather while people watching. Now that is MY kind of vacation!

We were there on 9/28/14 and Nick was our waiter. He made our visit so enjoyable. Their brunch selection was outstanding as well as their presentation. Everyone should try the coast toast (french toast) which had a lasting flavor to the palate. The cinnamon croissant melted in your mouth. We also returned to the restaurant and had lunch which was wondeful as well.

Stopped by here on a whim on the way to a family members from the airport for a quick drink and to catch up. Even though there was music playing, we were able to sit outside and still be able to talk without shouting. The tuna poke was tasty and just enough for a lite bite.

Upscale, indoor, outdoor, restaurant in the delightful seaside town of Bird Rock. Food is delicious and we experienced a new beer while there! An added plus: we could bring our (well behaved) dog to the restaurant and ate outside in their covered patio.

We came for lunch before heading over to La Jolla cove, and I'm glad reviews led us to this place. It's on a nice street with free 2-hour parking, plenty of time to enjoy a delicious meal. My husband got the fish tacos, which we tend to try any time they are offered, and we both thought they were some of the best we'd had. I got the breakfast tacos, which came with queso fresco and avocados, two things that make me happy. There were plenty of options for our teenagers, though my oldest daughter thought her grilled cheese was too crispy. Kids - what can you do?

Great Sunday brunch. They have a guy that plays guitar and sings very well. The atmosphere is really calming. We sad on the patio and got really good service. The carne asada eggs benedicts is SO GOOD. Very filling, you could split this if you want to drink more. This place is dog friendly too. I will be back.

You can choose just the original hors d'oeuvres or share main dishes, all good. The salted caramel dessert disappointed my husband...compared to the French version tasted in Paris 2 years ago....!

I've managed to eat at Beaumont's on a few trips to the area now and have always had very good service and consistently good food. The atmosphere is very relaxed and hip. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Great variety of food and drinks for everyone in the party and always delicious. I recently had the Tomato salad light and refreshing, followed by the Carnitas lettuce wraps always crunchy and filled with flavor and on the last occasion followed up with dessert.. the Dark Chocolate Pots de creme which was sinfully amazing and well worth the regret of eating something so decadent!

We arrived at 8:00 p.m. and had to wait 1 hour (we didn't make reservations) but we went to the bar and had a drink. We were seated in a nice booth in front of the band, Lady Dottie and the Diamonds. They started playing around 9:30 p.m. We had eaten an early dinner around 4:00 so we decided to split a Pear salad and then the Fettucine with Butternut Squash & Sage Brown Butter sauce. The food was excellent. The crowd was mixed 20's to 60's. Everyone danced until 12:00 midnight. It was alot of fun.

According to “The Best of La Jolla” Beaumont’s is not to be missed when visiting the area. Entrenched in the heart of La Jolla’s admired Bird Rock seaside community, Beaumont’s is a central meeting spot for locals to gather for fabulous food, hand-made cocktails, and top-rate entertainment in a casual, yet contemporary atmosphere. When you walk in the door you automatically feel like a local. The vibe is fun and the live music is the perfect complement to the atmosphere. When we arrived our server gave us the option of ordering brunch or lunch. After dining at The Mission, lunch was the way to go. The first thing I noticed on the menu was the Truffle Fries (you know me) and the next was the Remodeled Grilled Cheese with Kale, White Cheddar and Smokey Horseradish. My order was complete, well except for a beverage. Taking one look around I noticed almost everyone in the place was drinking a bright orange cocktail. The server fills me in on their signature drink the “Don’t You Judge Me”, a cocktail made with Kettle One Citron, Champagne and a splash of Orange Juice. Now we were acting the part and fitting in with the locals. The food was great, especially my Truffle Fries. My other half ordered his own portion, knowing I wouldn’t share with him and before I knew what was happening mine was gone and I was onto his. That’s what boyfriends are for right? We also tried Beaumont’s Burger which is their special 1/2 pound three meat blend; it was juicy and cooked just right.

This place was a nice surprise. There were 3 in our party and we shared everything, so there was a lot of variety. We could experiment with things you don't get very often. Delicious!

We had a good early dinner here with our children. There was a decent children’s menu although the food they had seemed quite average - a huge portion of bland tomato pasta and an expensive pizza flatbread. However my husband’s and my food was great - a tasty salmon dish and a healthy chicken and quinoa one, plus I enjoyed a yummy cocktail in happy hour : ) Seemed fairy expensive for what we had but was a nice meal out and maybe just the £ exchange rate!

This was my first time to try this place....My Daughter told me about it and we decided to give it a try....WOW it was great !! Food was excellent and the staff was great...parking can be a little tuff but not too bad.. We will be back !!!

Beaumont's, the Southern La Jolla place to be. Good, interesting food: check. Attentive bartenders: check. Variety of entrainment, live music: again, check. Social scene for locals, couples, those singles over 30 on the prowl: check, check, check. I love Beaumont's. For all of the above reasons.

We were looking for a place to have a nice dinner...with two young children in tow...on a Saturday evening...at the last minute! The places we tried first (the ones with the great views and great locations) were all booked. Beaumont's was able to provide accommodate us with a 5 p.m. reservation. We found parking right out the front door, which was unexpected and helpful. There was not much ambience here, but the people were friendly, and the food we ordered was fantastic. As an added bonus, the happy hour specials on both food and drink made for an affordable evening out.

Picked up Sister-in-law & nephews from airport & drove them to La Jolla's....house they rented was around the corner from Beaumont's!! How lucky for us....the menu is HUGE, the nephews each had a fancy yummy burger, we ordered a few appetizers to start & everything was delicious! Prices were not crazy either! Will be back!!

Best Pancakes I've ever had. Decided to go with their special pancakes, and I was not disappointed. They were the best I ever had. However, the server told us they were taking them off menu because they are difficult to cook and make a mess.

Beaumont's is my neighborhood spot, but it gets lots of traffic aside from locals. My favorite is brunch (great bloodies and inspired egg dishes), while lunch and dinner are staples for the family too. It's a good mix of family and trendy - the bar scene is clearly good for 20-50, but it's also comfortable for families in the restaurant.

We were driving from LaJolla to San Diego in our normal anthropological meander when we stumbled across this lovely little restaurant. We came in as strangers but the staff immediately made us welcome and comfortable on a foggy day. We wanted a light lunch because of our anniversary dinner plans later in the day, and the waitress and waiter both suggested the quiche of the day, a lovely asparagus, white cheddar concoction that was light and perfect for our choice. Mine came with an insalata mista and my wife enjoyed a side of fresh fruit. Between the wonderful food, the friendly staff, we truly enjoyed our stop ans would not hesitate to come again. This restaurant reflects the friendly folks we met while in town, Please stop by and give it a try!

This food was outstanding. We shared Portuguese Seafood Stew and Grilled Shrimp Risotto. What a perfect combination. The stew was full of seafood in a wonderful broth. The Risotto was rich, creamy, and flavorful. We wish we had more people with us so we could have sampled more.

Very cozy, little cafe that has a great "happy hour" and lots of choices in the menu. The Cauliflower tacos were amazing! Nice beachy ambiance, and funky hip decor. Will come back for sure.

My hubby and I popped in one Saturday afternoon for an early lunch/late breakfast. We had been wanting to try Beaumont's for awhile, and were excited we finally made it in. My husband ordered the Short Rib Hash and I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich. We also decided to share a Bacon Bloody Mary! The Short Rib Hash was excellent and you could tell it was made fresh from real meat. My pulled pork sandwich was wonderfully tender and juicy. However, as great as the food was, it was the Bacon Bloody Mary that stole the show! We are not fans of Bloody Mary's usually, but his was something special! The flavor of the tomato juice and bacon was incredible, which led us to order another one. We have tried to make this at home since, and have been unsuccessful, which means we will be back!! The atmosphere was so chill, we really didn't want to leave.

Great place, but the hours on trip advisor are not correct.Call restaurant or view their web site for actual times of operation.

It was just over the road from where we were staying for a few days during our road trip in CA and only popped in for a drink following our long flight from the UK. It was lively but not noisy and an easy going three piece light band were playing. They added to the atmosphere. Good range of beers and wine. People were also appreciative which to me indicated a good local clientele and we may choose to visit again. I did not study the menu but it appeared to offer a good range. Staff all very friendly and helpful.

There's a reason why I end up at Beaumont's multiple times a week -- the people. Sure the food is great. If it wasn't, then I probably would have never gone back a second time, but the staff and other local patrons are truly what make this restaurant great. It's like sitting at home and eating an awesome meal with your friends. I'm glad to see this place continue to do well.

My friends and I came in for a nice lunch around 1:15 p.m. The waitress was nice but not too attentive. We ordered the "Everything but the kitchen sink salad," a chicken with greens salad and a chicken sandwich. The Everything but the kitchen sink salad was great with blue cheese dressing, Italian dressing, 4 types of cheese, avocado, carrots, chick peas, carrots, artichoke, red onion, tomato's, greens, cucumbers, corn, broccoli and water chestnuts. There were a few other ingredients but I couldn't recognize them or name them. The food was tasty and fresh. The restaurant was not busy and only two other tables were in the restaurant. The reason I gave an average score was because we told the server (twice) that we wanted to split a salad and sandwich and it still came to us not split.

We ate here on Easter Sunday because we were visiting from out of town, and they were close to where we were staying and were open and had plenty of tables. I had the fish taco's and they were absolutely delightful (if a bit messy). My daughter got the wedge salad with fried chicken and bacon, and cleaned her plate. We both felt that the meal was one of the best we had on our trip. Service was good, food was great and we'd definitely return given the opportunity.

We had brunch on the patio twice on our trip to San Diego. Although the patio is small, it is very nice and there was always seating available outdoors. The service was quick and friendly The brunch menu is on the smaller side, but there was still a nice array of choices both sweet and savory. Everything we had there was very good, but the Coast Toast was french toast perfection! It was crispy on the outside and soft in the middle and had a hint of lemony flavor. We didn't get there for lunch or dinner, but the menu looked good and if we're ever back in the area we'd definitely give it a try.

We always end up at Beaumonts for at least one meal while visiting our parent, who live down the hill from Beaumont's. Very reliably, their carry was terrific. My mother in law ordered salads to take to an outdoor pops concert. We loved our salads. I had the chopped salad, which is nice when you have it for carry out because it is easy to eat without a knife or shoveling large chunks of foor into your mouth. The dressing was tangy, but light and not overpowering. The goodies included finely chopped artichokes, olives, roasted red peppers, hearts of palm and goats milk cheese. I have been there many, many times and I just love this little gem that does everything so well. The crowd is local, but very lively and festive. Their brunch is also superb. Its a good thing its walking distance because that early day drinking and live music begs for a little walk, and then a nap.

Yes! They do it ALL-and all so well. Interesting Drinks, Salads, Entrees, Nibbles, Brunch, Lunch, Happy Hour or Dinner-Beaumont's exceeds at creative and casual neighborhood dining. It's a great place to grab some extremely reasonable eats and a drink for Happy Hour, Family/Kid Friendly, Hang out for Drinks at the Bar with girlfriends or the Bros (there is a TV for those who can't miss a game), Pup friendly patio seating etc. Menu options are good, fresh, tasty and mostly pretty healthy. Reasonable prices for the quality and supa dupa friendly service from the front door on... Decor' is pleasant enough for a relaxed date night and casual Family night too. Portions are perfectly sized not supersized. My only critique is I'd like the Mexican dishes with some kick but I believe the majority of the food here is seasoned appropriately for the friendly eclectic local crowd.

I love eating here. The food is great and the staff is even friendlier. Stop in for breakfast on the weekends and enjoy.

This place looks a bit modest at first sight, but it is really a nice place with a variety of local guests. Good bar with good drinks, live music and good food an brunch on the weekends. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
A quick breakfast
We found Beaumont's as an accident as were driving through. What a great find. My husband had the carne asada benedict which was amazing. I had a scramble. The multi-grain bread was amazing and so was their homemade jam. Sat on the patio and met some neighborhood 4-legged friends who were also visiting the restaurant. Everyone was so friendly.
