Monica was a fabulous waitress. Food was excellent and quick. We had the avocado hummus and salmon dish. Excellent. The pint house pink house ipa was exactly what I was looking for. Great place!

Excellent food and service in SAT

This eatery in the San Antonio airport is excellent. We had the omelette for breakfast and it was truly a flavor bomb with the most delicious smoked bacon and spicy salsa. Service was also top notch with Beth making sure we had what we needed. Very highly recommended.

Simple but tasty

Nice place to eat and drink. The salmon was surprisingly tasty, with some sweet and acidic notes, delicious. I’d eat there again.

Delish

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the restaurant. The chicken waffle wings and soup were delicious, and the cucumber martini was a delightful treat. Special shoutout to Monica, our waitress, for providing amazing service throughout the meal. Would highly recommend!

Fish for something else.

Typical airport rush in and rush out. Danielle was quick to the table. Handled order well. Good was quick. Beer selection about what your expect, but perhaps was looking for a bit more selection at a place called beer code. The fish and chips was very light on the fish and heavy on the fires. Final bill with tip 33.60. Bet was 8 and to was 5. Not a double bagel but certainly will try something else the next time while playing through San Antonio.

Amazing food and exceptional service

I couldn’t decide between a couple of items and Monica’s knowledge and recommendation made my experience extremely pleasant for myself and my taste buds. The chicken and waffles are by far the best I’ve had. Thank you Monica for the exceptional service!

It’s a busy Friday at SAT but Monica put a smile on her face and got our order out ASAP! If you find yourself at SAT go to Beer Code and ask for Monica. She will make your day!

Amazing in everyway!

My experience at the Beercode Kitchen and bar was absolutely amazing! I stopped by the bar on September 29th. The entire staff was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, gracious, and friendly! I believe the bartender's name was Vannessa. Although she was extremely busy when I entered the bar, she made a point to say hello and said "please give me a minute I will be right with you" I have experienced may airport bars and restaurants over the last 12 years and in that time, very seldom, on a busy day, did a bartender be so friendly and courteous to me and other patrons. Once I ordered my drink and a snack, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Irene, the Bar's manager, as she was the woman who brought my snack. I was surprised to see how effective and efficient the staff was and the overall performance of the bar. I contribute that to Irene as she watched everything and everyone. I have been a business owner for over 40 years, and this is the 1st review I have ever sent. You should know Irene, Vannessa and the other members of Irene's team were magnificent, it was like watching a concert! Bar food can be bar but somehow the experience I had made my snack taste like a 5 Star dinner!! When I visit San Antonio airport again you can be sure I will visit Irene and her team!! When I think of my visit it still makes me smile!!

This is an airport burger?!?

By Tony W |

Gotta say I had low expectations going into an airport joint for a burger- but it was really, really good! And the server, Monica M, was as attentive as a sit down restaurant in a downtown setting! Awesome.

Great experience

Service was great. Monica did a great job, super nice, and the food was good, really hit the spot. If you are looking for good bar/ American fare, you can’t go wrong.

Unexpectedly great food.

Tucked away in Terminal A of the San Antonio International Airport (near Gate 10), Beer Code Kitchen & Bar is the kind of spot that turns a layover into a highlight. On a recent trip, my wife and I ducked in for a quick bite, and we were blown away by how elevated everything felt—no soggy sandwiches or rushed vibes here. Our server, Anika, was an absolute standout. She greeted us with a warm smile despite the pre-flight hustle, took our order swiftly, and even recommended a local craft beer flight to pair with our meals. Her efficiency without sacrificing friendliness made us feel like regulars, not transients. My wife opted for the chicken salad, which arrived fresh and vibrant—crisp greens, tender grilled chicken, and a light vinaigrette that cut through the airport fatigue perfectly. I went for the Reuben, and wow, it was a game-changer: perfectly toasted rye bread cradling layers of corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Thousand Island dressing, all without a hint of greasiness. The fries on the side were golden and seasoned just right. For airport food, this was unexpectedly delicious—comforting yet refined, like something you’d seek out in the city. Prices were fair for the setting (think $15–20 per entree), and the beer selection lived up to the name with solid Texas brews on tap. If you’re flying through SAT, skip the chains and hit Beer Code—Anika and the team will make your wait worthwhile. Highly recommend for solo travelers or couples craving quality over quantity. We’ll be back!

Great food - nice variety

By PamRoad |

We stopped in for lunch before our flight. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety. They had the typical burgers and fries, but also had an Asian bowl that was delicious! Vegan and gluten free and tasty! Check it out!
