This is another place where I like to sit at the bar, enjoy a good glass of wine, salad and an meal, at your pace. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Fresh made pasta, my wife enjoys the trout. They have outside seating, I'm just not a fan of being that far away from the kitchen and the bar. I like to sit at the bar and get the extra attention and speed. Good spot for sure.

The food was okay, not great, not something I would go back for. I had this idea that this would be like a true Italian kind of place. It was disappointing.

Located in the hip Ponce City Market Bellina serves some really delicious Italian food. The Carbonara was very good and the size of the portion was perfect. Nice and quick service.

Had a light late lunch of the pollo pannini which was very good chicken salad on a chibatta bun with a small side of cole slaw, with 2 small pours of house wine it was $38.00

We had a really hard time deciding where to eat at Ponce City Market, everything looked so good! But the fresh pastas of Bellina won us over. I had the chestnut pasta with mushrooms which was really good and not too heavy. My friend had the carbonara which she said was delicious as well. We each had a glass of wine and I enjoyed their wine selection. They had a lot of orange wines which I love, though they were at least $20 a glass, so we skipped those since it would've been almost as much as my entree and glass of wine combined. We sat at the bar and the service was good, one bartender in particular really runs the show - major props to him for keeping this place running. Sitting at the bar we also saw a few of the other dishes go by and they looked phenomenal and we were right by where the pasta was being made. I was glad we chose this place in the end, though I wish I could've tried all of the places!

We ordered the piselli e prosciutto. Reminded me totally of pasta cabonara. However, this dish was way to saucy for me and a little too salty. I wouldn't order it again, but I would come back to try something else after seeing other peoples dishes. They also have a little market where you can buy other pastas to take home. I went with the squid ink pasta, something different and I've had before so its very delicious.

Enjoyable location for a casual double date on a Tuesday evening. Ponce City Market is a fun venue, the food hall has a great selection of quality food choices set in a laid back atmosphere. We ordered pasta and the housemade sodas and sat out in the food hall area just out front of Bellina. I liked the lemon soda more than the apple, it had a brighter flavour. The pesto pasta was tasty and a very generous portion size. Reasonably priced too. The service was prompt, although it was a little strange that our meals arrived before our drinks. That said, would happily recommend it to friends looking for a nice or different place to explore and enjoy dinner in Atlanta.

We were excited to eat at Bellina since we have been to every other Italian restaurant in Atlanta and since this one is almost my last name, we thought it would be a perfect match. Our table was outside, wish was very nice to people watch, and enjoy the atmosphere. Started with the Misto board which was delicious but for the $18 price, I would expect more than 3 pieces of cheese. Double everything on it and they have a winner with that dish. What really turned me off was the presentation of the food. The plates look like they were used in the Shawshank Prison kitchen. The Misto board is very nice with the Bellina name burned into it but when the entrees came, it was chow time at Shawshank. Italian food is made with love, our dinners tasted like it was made by a relationship that is on the rocks and probably won't make it. Service was extremely slow, not sure if it was because we were outside or not. Had to ask for our table to be wiped off when we sat down. I would give them another chance but change our seating and menu items around to try something different.

The food is tasty but with scant portions and you should be prepared to pay premium prices even for lunch. Actually two of the entrees pictured are made up of appetizers priced separately. Full meals were in the 25 to 35 range. For where it is, I guess I should have expected noisy crowded and scant seating. It would have been nice though not to sit at high pub tables on backless uncomfortable stools. Will go elsewhere and spend more to have conversation and seating friendly atmosphere or sit out in the open court area where u fight for tables like u do for parking spaces.

This was the place I was kind of sad that I travel by myself. Otherwise I could have tried lots more food at this place. I had the charcuterie & cheese board and the quality was very good.

Sat outside for lunch. Great ambiance. Waitress took my order. Someone else brought it to the table. Server did not return to check on me until my meal was finished. Not great when they give you a kiddie cup for drinks. Feels like they only have one server for the whole patio. Food was outstanding. Has the season ravioli and a side salad Just enough food and both were excellent. The Very Good rating is for the food. If service was better would give them 5 stars.

This is part restaurant, part bar, and part shop for great looking Italian meats and cheeses. The wines are all from Italy. Pasta dishes are fresh and delicate. I had the trout, which was cooked perfectly. The butternut squash soup was much enjoyed by one of my companions. We look forward to returning to Bellina soon.

Have traveled to Italy several times and love true Italian food. We had the ragu and lasagna. Both were wonderful. The ragu has a little spice to it, and the lasagna just melted in Your mouth. We were there on a busy night and didn’t feel like waiting for table but the option to order and sit in the bar area is great. They still bring your food to you. Highly recommended!

Stopped in for a late lunch. Tried a Porchette Panini and wife had Pisella e Prosciutto, both excellent. Right size portions, attentive service. A pricey wine list, but cost offset by excellent recommendation from host. Genial atmosphere, rates a return.

We were lucky to run across this place while walking the beltway from Inman Park. It is a bit loud but also nicely busy and the staff are warm and helpful. They offer some nice cocktails and a few tasty appetisers both of which we enjoyed. The entrée were well prepared and flavorful. Everything was properly prepared and seasoned. Prices were reasonable as well. We will be back.

There are many places to choose from at the market. If you want have a little to time to sit and relax the food and drinks at Bellina are very good.

When you visit Bellina you feel the taste of Italy. The pasta, lasagna - spinach and mushrooms with ricotta and béchamel sauce and the meet balls were delicious. Looking around you can see little Italy.

Nestled in the Ponce City Market, this Italian restaurant offers lots of products to purchase and not many choices to eat. There are about 5 for each category - Salads, Antipasti, 7 for pasta and 3 signature dishes. I had the Quattro Formaggi - which was an elevated Mac&Cheese. You pick your item(s) and someone brings it to you. Mine was lukewarm. My daughter's Pappardelle al Ragu was much hotter. Both was good, but nothing fantastic. Mine was $10 and hers was $12 - which for this Market, I suppose was inexpensive. Would I go again? Not really.

We went in here just to try a dessert. We looked at the menu of course, it was sort of pricey. They are a restaurant & “market” all in one. The dessert we ordered was the tiramisu. It was divine.

Informal place with Italian dishes, good food, good beer, honest prices for being in Atlanta and very friendly staff, shopping center worth visiting

Tried the meatballs and the eggplant lasagna which had awesome delicate pasta. Also serve interesting cocktails.

My husband and I both got the Ponce Market wrong. We thought it was, uh, a market, basically a place to buy food. We got there and realized that it was more like the old Fanueil Market in Boston--an old industrial building transformed into a hub of eateries and shops. How cool! We strolled the ground level Food Court and found quite a lot to like but ended up back at Bellina. Just what our impulses demanded. Bought one porchetta sandwich (loaded with arugala and provolone, so good!) and split it. We each had a glass of wine. Just the perfect amount. the ciabatta bread was fresh and fragrant and the porchetta was yummy. What a great place this restaurant is. If we weren't there as tourists, we would have loaded up on cheeses and other yummies. And if I were more in a shopping mood, I would have followed up lunch with an little buying spree. Parking is weird. We ended up in the lot below the building but the machines rejected both our plastic and our dollar bills. There signs threatening booting and towing and I generally take that stuff seriously. Fortunately nothing happened. So just a word to the wise.

Sat at the bar, had quick efficient service with a slight delay in ordering. The food was pretty good, reasonably priced for location. They also sell cheese and bread etc. at another counter and it's quite good also. It's a nice place, but there are so many around.

I ordered the Georgia Shrimp and the pasta was amazing. Very fresh! The waitress was as attentive but a bit overwhelmed and needed help on the Saturday we were there. The menu is very small, I found myself looking for more options. But the pasta was first rate! When paying the bill, keep in mind that the restaurant automatically puts fees on the final check including an automatic 20% fee. That was a surprise.

The service was spotty and the seating not very enjoyable but they made up for it with excellent, fresh Italian food. It was a good people watching place and the prices were quite affordable for a sit down meal. Beware the wine by the glass is quite pricey and not all that special.

We had lunch here recently. It was amazing. First we ordered bread, olives and olive oil dip. The bread was fresh, the olive oil fragrant, there was a mixture of different types of olives. Delicious. I ordered a green salad which was dressed with a lemony vinaigrette-wonderful. Between my daughter and I we ordered the Ragù (Fresh pappardelle pasta, hearty slow-cooked beef and pork sauce); Piselli e Prosciutto (fresh Tagliolini pasta, Spotted Trotter ham, fresh peas, cream sauce). The flavors were amazing and for 2 moderate eaters, we cleaned our plates. I decided to try a Prosecco cocktail-wow! Sweet, fruity, refreshing and delicious. I will go here again and will enjoy it just as much. I highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates great Italian food.

Exceptional Italian food and service at this restaurant in the zoo cry City Market. I had a salad and some type of panini if I recall. Both were excellent!

Great service, excelent food and the deserts were awesome!! We came for a corporate dinner and were surpised with a pasta making class, so great!! Personalized attention by the owner, great experience!

We stopped in for a drink while walking around the Market. Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Food looked good but we only had drinks. Wish they had more wines to choose from though.

A friend and I took one of the cooking classes they offer and it was one of the best classes I've taken! The chef led the class and it was fun, informative, and a great night out. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking to go to a cooking class! I've also eaten at the restaurant and LOVE it!

Authentic Italian Pizza . . . Plain, simple & fresh. It took about 20 minutes and tasted great. Plain and simple, but they did it right. It was a Saturday night but the place was heaving - we had to do take out.

Italian food served pub style may seem like a mixed metaphor. It fits this place. It can’t decide if it want to be a restaurant, take-out food, deli, or grocery vendor. It doesn’t succeed at any. We went here because we saw it under construction and it looked appealing. The eye appeal is there, if you like the trendy, re-gentrified look of Ponce Market. It is noisy and uncomfortable if you eat in. The music is turned up loud and the hard interiors (eg, concrete floors) make you feel like you’re in a sound box. The food deserves mixed reviews. The menu is adequate. The butternut squad soup was flavorful and served warm. It would have been excellent if it had been served hot.The meatballs were very good, and warm. They would have been excellent if they had been served hot. The pasta with beef ragu was not bad, all fresh ingredients, but it was not very flavorful. The side of roasted potatoes was cold and ordinary. When asked about our meal, we noted the cold potatoes and they were replaced right away. But the replacement potatoes were no more flavorful and only sightly warm. Dishes were ceramic, but the cutlery was plastic. It’s hard to eat pasta with plastic, bendy cutlery. I felt like I was on an airplane. In the take-away counter, raw meat is kept next to cooked food. This is a risky practice and off-putting. So $40 for unexceptional food and we had to use plastic cutlery. This is not good value. There are other items for sale, such as olive oil, but nothing notable, everything very expensive and not enough items to make the place a destination for food shopping.

A busy eating and drinking spot of the Northern Italy style in Ponce City Market. They are an airy space serving Italian classic food, wines, mixed drinks, coffees and desserts. See pictures.

Good selection of wine - even though it is a bit on the pricey side. Good appetizers, we didn’t have dinner here, only wine and the meatball appetizer. They have pasta making classes that look so much fun. A class was happening while we were there and I wanted to go join it! Great idea to offer the classes.

This is probably my favorite food stop in PCM. Most of the time I get the Ragu dish - their favorite too - but they have other good stuff on the menu as well, like a spicy sausage panini. Delicious food, prices are fine, service is quick. They even have a bar in the back with more intimate seating. It's a solid sit-down spot.

This Italian restaurant/market is inside of the Ponce Market. Just a few options but very well executed. I had the Buccatini alla matriciana. Tomato sauce was creamy and fresh and the pancetta was crispy and spicy. My husband had the beef stew over creamy polenta and it was very yummy. Prices are very reasonable and quantity is just right. I liked this place as the menu offers different options from the regular Italian restaurants. Wine by the glass, shared tables and modern industrial atmosphere. Paid parking.

Inside the Ponce Market. It's a very casual place with few tables and a bar. Service was good and the food came out quickly, and it was pretty good. Nothing fancy at all, it feels very cozy, vibrant. Not sure if they make reservations, but it does get packed. Really liked the experience, I do recommend it.

We had a large party and were seated in the small glassed in section of the restaurant. Everything we ordered was delicious! Appetizers and Entrees were presented well and plenty of portions. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Some gluten free options. Definitely will go again.

A girlfriend and I went to Bellina on the recommendation of someone who works at West Elm. We sat at a high top in the bar area. Excellent service and food. We shared a three-item antipasto and then shared two pasta dishes: the meat sauce and the mushroom sauce. The meat sauce was the closest to an authentic bolognese sauce that I've had in a long time. The pappardelle were sauced just right. Ditto for the mushroom sauce, which was chock full of delicious mushrooms. Truth be told, we probably could have shared one pasta dish, but they were both delicious and we ate every bite. The $8/glass house wine was not bad.

The first 30 minutes or so of our experience didn't fill us with a lot of hope. While we had a big party the place wasn't overly crowed (it was a Tuesday night) and the drink service was extremely slow. In addition their specialty cocktails didn't really impress us and we're a group that tends to try these things at restaurants we visit around the country and world. However, when it came to the food both the appetizers and the main course were delivered timely and were excellent! In a group of about 10 people we probably tried 8 different mains and everyone loved their dishes. I personally had the chicken and while it was a tad greasy it was otherwise well cooked, good breading, nice little apple salad on it and was big! We skipped dessert so I can't provide any details there. The prices seemed ok although we weren't overly conscious of them.

I ate here on Saturday afternoon and sat outside. The atmosphere was pretty good with great people watching. Service was rather inconsistent, however, with no drink refills or checks to see if we received everything we needed. Our server offered good recommendations, and I opted for the prosciutto with peas pasta and my companion had a sandwich with pulled beef and tomato sauce. I really enjoyed the wine my server recommended to accompany the meal - light, crisp and refreshing. My companion's tea didn't arrive until after our entrees, however. The portions here are small - typically authentic Italian where one would order at least two courses, usually consisting of a primi and a secondi course to round out the meal. The sandwich was served on a bread board and due to the nature of it, required a knife and fork. The wax paper under the sandwich shredded in an instant, and the messy nature of the sauced beef was difficult to contain when slicing through really crusty toasted bread. It needed a side of some sort to be considered a full meal, and we would've appreciated a heads up from the server before ordering. My pasta was delicious, fresh and simple - nothing spectacular, but the best Italian meals are those that you could make yourself, and that let the quality ingredients shine. I just wish there was more of it. Value-wise, you pay for the atmosphere, I think. I might try some of the other PCM options next time around.

First, I had great service from the wait staff. But $9 for an EIGHT-ounce beer is unbelievable. Plus, a small to medium size spaghetti and TWO meatballs was $19. This is NOT a tablecloth and cloth napkin establishment. It is just a step above Italian chain restaurants that considers itself fine dining. I can help to feel I was ripped off.

Well prepared and perfectly seasoned, you can't beat the porchetta on house-made pane Toscano, paired with the seasonal butternut squash soup topped with winter pesto and mascarpone. A proponent of slow food, Bellina Alimentari is a great addition to Atlanta.

On a hot day this place caught my eye as a good spot to eat and have a glass of wine. Unfortunately there wasn't a lot of options if you're vegan. The staff was helpful.

I've been to this restaurant a few times now. The first time I've visited it was only open for a few weeks. The food was good but a little on the bland side. The entrées sounded delicious but did not Live up to the descriptions. I'll order the lasagna the first time and it was so so. I went back a month later and it was much better. The lasagna went from a 6 to an 8. It taste better, had more sauce and cheese. The temperature was not great. It was barely warm. I almost took it back to have them reheat it. I think the rating on this could have been a nine if the temperature was right. Some of their other items also got better over time. The cheese and charcuterie was good as well. Not large enough for 4 though. We also got the meatballs as another appetizer. That was also very good. The Ragu was ok. Noodles were a little on the Al Dente side and it lacked moisture. I wouldn't get it again. The Francesina was also very good and probably one of the most flavorful items on the menu besides the lasagna.

Went here on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Kind of a casual but upscale Italian Vibe. Kind of expensive, but goes along with a lot of the PCM pricing. Biggest issue for all of the food is lack of spice/flavor 1. Pasta with sausage and kale - sauce was thin (actually has some water from the sauce or pasta in the bottom of the bowl) and lacked flavor 2. Pasta with pesto - very bland and the cold pasta was overloaded with thick pesto - too much pesto for the portion 3. We ordered mushroom Ragu and instead got beef ragu - had to send it back of course. The mushroom sauce was the best of the night 4. Service a bit disjointed with not all of the entrees served at the same time. Sprite and cappuccino came at the end of the meal. 5. Asked if bread came with the pasta and said it was an extra $2. Then had to ask separately for olive oil. I believe they are going through a lot of growing pains, but they need to kick up the spice in all of their dishes.

The food was fine overall. We got a charcuterie board. It was fine, but the price was just a bit too much for it. It was one of the less busy place at Ponce, and that helps if you are looking for food without the line.

I wrote a review some months back when we had a bad customer service experience. I have to give ups to the manager who contacted me and asked to give them another try. Its appreciated and we decided to a few weeks back. Our waitress this time was a very nice young lady who was way more schooled than the previous waiter in the art of making the customer happy. We found the food to better this time around as well. Its a great spot in Ponce City Market and would recommend.

Went here with some colleagues for dinner, and had a very nice pasta with ham, peas and a cream sauce. We shared the Misto board appetizer- it seemed a bit pricy for what it was, but was enjoyable all the same. The paninis that my friends ordered looked great too, featuring a nice hearty ciabatta like bread. Got to sit out on the patio which was lovely, but we did have to wait a bit on the Sunday evening to get a table for the 6 of us.

Freshly made traditional Italian Market favourites with a Tuscan farm flair, from house baked breads, creamy polenta, or Arugula with peaches, hazelnuts & parmigiano cheese in a champagne vinaigrette, to roasted eggplant lasagne rich with mozzarella & parmigiano cheeses, basil and pomodoro tomatoes. Or perhaps a locally sourced shrimp with lemon & chives dish. P Varied pastas. All looked as delicious as ours were. Gluten Free & Vegan options available. Full bar, Wine & Beer specials, House made sodas, signature coffees & hot chocolate. Fragrant take away cheeses, meats, pastries, fruits, desserts, truffles & more at this Ponce City Market delicacy treat & meet. There's also a Bar/Club scene we didn't attend but you could inquire about, and in addition to holding private events they give cooking classes.

Did some takeout from this spot and enjoyed every bite. Nice staff and great options. nice offerings for light bite or a meal.

We were trying to find a spot that could comfortably accommodate 6 people on a Saturday in Ponce City Market. We decided to take advantage of Bellina's large tables. We were so glad we did! Everything we ordered was delicious! From the high quality Spotted Trotter meats to the fantastic tomato soup with marscapone. All of the employees were extremely friendly and helped to make this experience excellent.

It was a sunny day and we had just finished lunch. We just wanted a drink. They have a nice selection of Italian wines at reasonable prices. We were able to take our drinks out onto the patio and enjoy the sun. Good, friendly service. Next time we want to try the food.

Situated in The Ponce City Market, delicious traditional Italian cooking can be sampled on the quick. Everything is served fresh, the bread is freshly baked, the Italian Rose wine was good, and the portion provided by the lunch specials sufficient to satisfy your hungry cravings. It's a busy place with a lot of customer traffic, but nooks are provided to isolate you from people passing through.

This is one of a number of restaurants located in Ponce City Market. We went for an afternoon to look around. This is a very cool little place full of shops and people. We decided to top by for lunch. If you go to the back of the bar you will have full service. The food was OUTSTANDING. All is made fresh, onsite and really good. If you like to relax with a glass of wine and enjoy some really creative Italian offerings you will not be disappointed in this place. This will be a place that I return to next time in Atlanta.

First time at Ponce City Market and we toured the entire facility before deciding on Bellina for a late lunch. Quickly seated on a busy Saturday afternoon, we started with the meatballs appetizer for sharing. Four big meatballs, very tasty sauce and bread provided a great start to our meal. Our pasta entrees of Ragu and Amatriciana were fantastic and plenty of food for the two of us. Service was very timely and helpful. A real nice afternoon provided by Bellina, it's kitchen and servers. Thanks to all.

Do try their homemade thyme lemon honey soda. It isn't too sweet. I had the pesto and it was divine. There's just something about fresh pasta.

When you are strolling though Ponce City Market and you feel like stopping for a bite to eat, this is a great choice. The food is excellent, but the wait staff is another matter. Maybe there is a good reason they are called "waiters." OK, maybe that was a bit too harsh. You have to remember this is first and foremost an Italian market within a busy metropolitan shopping location, and the restaurant in my opinion is a secondary business. The food however is worth the wait. The Antipasti - Vegetable Plate is good, and their Ragu is ok. Not outstanding, but exactly what you would expect from a ragu. On the other-hand, their Pollo al Forno is exceptional. That single dish made the visit worth the wait. Chicken cooked to perfection, and oh so tasty. Yummy, yummy...

In the last visits to Atlanta my family had told us about Ponce City Market which has stores, restaurants, offices and flats. Today we decided to visit it. The place is in an old Sears stores that has been totally refurbished. Bellina is just one of many eateries in the place. Every store and restaurants is expensive. They even charge for parking. Bellina itself is ok. I had a chicken salad sandwich. The bread was pretty good. I would rate the sandwich a 4 out of 5. I ordered it to go because there were no cool drinks I wanted to order. It was 91 degrees that day. It cost $12 not including tip. I found it overpriced as compared to other places elsewhere in Atlanta. The service was fine. There is really nothing there that will attract me to return. I looked at a sport coat in a men's store and almost choked. $995 for it. A pair of jeans at another store $225.

Daria the manager and Shauna.. Who was unfortunately not our server but I asked for her descriptions of the food so I would know what to order and she is a wealth of information. She describes food with the passion of a foodie. This place is mondo beyond in terms of flavor. I am not a eggplant fan. However, after Shauna described it to me "How the pasta and eggplant were cut into very thin layers...." it was too much to resist. She was right. I have eaten pasta in Italy and some amazing restaurants across the US in several large cities... My taste buds still ahve dreams about this place! We also had another homemade veg pasta dish - pomodoro, also amazing. I took a cook fo cannolis to go and was not disappointed. This place rocks. The flavor, the exquisite texture of the pasta and the alchemically created combination of flavors still lingers on my tastebuds and my memories.

Popped in for drinks n adult dinner. Unfortunately, tween son wasn’t interested in menu so we got him a piece of pizza across the way. Manager approached before our meal and next rounds of drinks arrived informing us that they “ didn’t allow outside food”. We canceled our meal while he finished his pizza. Hope the $$$ we didn’t drop there was worth it. The nearby restaurant reaped the benefit. Sometimes you have to think outside the box

Located inside the Ponce Market. Great service and food is good too. We started with a table of chesses, toasts, olives, prosciutto and focaccia bread. Cesar salad was big and tasty. Leek soup was delicious. Then we ordered Ravioli, Spaghetti with shrimps and Carbonara. Everything was good and customer service was awesome.

We found this restaurant by accident while shopping in Atlanta. Fantastic knowledgeable staff and great food and wine.

The food tasted good and fresh. The menu was unique and the staff, very nice and accommodating. I loved the atmosphere. And the complimentary bread was tasty as well. Would definitely like to try more of the menu too.

Of the places to eat in the Food Hall of Ponce City Market, I think this ranks as one of the top. Their pasta is fresh and made in house, and they vary their menu by season so you can always be assured that they're using fresh ingredients. A staple on their menu that is served almost year round is the parpadelle ragu. The dish is simple but delicious and has never failed to disappoint me. The portions are generous, so a great place to go with friends and share dishes. I personally like just ordering up front and having the food brought to your table. I don't see a need for the full service dining part.

An accommodating manager helped our party of 7 people get a great table in a quiet room (so we could actually talk to each other) on a busy Saturday night. The appetizers board with cheese and salumi was delicious. My shrimp pasta was also delicious. Those who got the pasta carbonara were somewhat disappointed as it was far too dry and a bit bland. Our wine (nice Sardinian Cannanou) paired well with the meal. Service was great throughout the meal.

Much better than expected. The service was prompt and friendly. We didn't want to eat too much for lunch and asked to split a pasta dish- no problem. The wine list was limited and was all Italian wine. We had good food and the price was in line.

Good service, fair price and the legitimate taste of Italy in Atlanta, GA. The shrimp paste was very tasty. And the point of the pasta to the tooth.

I placed an order to go to eat in my hotel room. The order took a little longer than expected to be ready. The restaurant was very busy when I arrived to pick up my order. I ordered the fettucine carbonara and garlic bread. The food was good. I didn't know if was possible but the bread was too garlicy for me. Overall it was good experience.

Place is located in PCM which brings a great atmosphere , the food is good ( not amazing), service is good but the vibe is quite unique ... you feel out of Atlanta.

One of the few places in Ponce that you can sit and enjoy a great meal in the restaurant. I tried the gluten free Pesto, and it was very savory and scrumptious! Our waiter gave great recommendations on wine pairing, too. A fun place to drop in and sip wine or grab a quick bite while shopping.

Delicious place, design so modern and the food is good with a fair price. The wines deserve a special attention..

Sat at the bar trying to get a glass of wine, took our order and then proceeded to takes care of anyone else but US. So we left very disappointed. Looked like a great place but have to pass.

First off I love Ponce City market its a great spot and this is in a great location. But the only reason this even gets a 3 from me is because of the very good live entertainment. Ross Pead and the Cypress knots were awesome! The restaurant not so much. The wine choices are not great just ok. I dont know if it was just our waiter or not but he was bad. We ordered a salad, Italian entree, bread and wine. Didnt see him for awhile finally our salads came, had to flag him down what about our bread we ordered and wine??? Didnt see him for another while finally showed back up wine we ordered is out, but what about the bread as customers around us had theirs??? He asked me about another wine, I wasnt in the mood anymore and missed half my meal. The entree shows up before the bread....wth??? Anyway I will give some ups to the manager he came be and offered the very late bread at no charge. Still doesn't make up for the bad service however and if I were the manager I would have offered the customer at least a dessert or drink. Oh yeah the entree was eggplant and was so salty we didn't even finish it. So this place could be ok if you sit and listen at the wine bar and maybe order an appetizer but I cant recommend the food or service.

After trekking the Beltine for an hour-plus today, my friend and I decided to eat at The Ponce City Market. We chose Bellina because the food we saw patrons eating looked good. We ordered lunch (deli style, stood in line and took a number) and our food was promptly served. We later noticed there was a full-service restaurant and bar located at the "Street side" of the market, but for our purposes, the seat-yourself option worked fine. Bellina is designed to look like an authentic Italian upscale eatery. I ordered the $12.00 "special lunch" while my friend opted for a sandwich. My entree' consisted of a very small sandwich (billed as a half-sandwich) and a decent-sized side salad. The chicken salad sandwich was tasty, but just too small, more like a child-sized portion. The salad was a decent-sized side with fresh lettuce, one shaved watermelon radish, and little else save for a smattering of EVOO. My companion fared a little better, opting for a full-sized sandwich (not on the menu, she asked for it) for about 12.95. It was also chicken salad, and she liked it. The sandwich was served with a teeny-tiny side, a cauliflower salad, which she reported was delish. My friend also ordered a pomegranate water mix, which she enjoyed. All in all, the place was very beautiful, clean and well-organized, but the food was good, not great. It is not a great value for the money. Perhaps we should have ordered a bowl of pasta, and maybe we will give Bellina another chance. The restaurant appeared to be new. On the other hand, there are many good restaurant's to choose from at the bustling PCM. So maybe not. Either way, it will not trouble me.

12/27/2015 - 1:30 PM My wife and I had a very enjoyable day just looking around at the Ponce City Market. I am a native to Atlanta and remember this building when it was a Sears & Roebuck store right across the street was the old Atlanta Crackers stadium the area was really booming then. Hopefully this market will help to bring back the area. We felt very safe and at ease. Their are so many great places to eat, no matter what your craving you will find it here. We chose Bellina's because of a craving for Italian food. We both had pasta dishes and shared a beet salad. The food was excellent and the help was very good. You order your food at the counter to go or in house. They will bring your food to your table, you have a number for the order. I always have a hard time leaving a tip for this type of service but will generally leave 10%. I'm not sure that many people tip at these types of restaurants. The food was a little pricy but the quality shows in the food and cooking. We will be back again but will have to give some of the other place a chance first.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch while walking the beltline path today. The staff are attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the finocchio salad, rucula salad and misto board. Delightful salads with fantastic parmigiana cheese, fennel, apples, arugula !!! So delicious. The misto board had an amazing combination of cheese, bread sticks and charcuterie. We will return to this wonderful place!

A few days ago, I met up with some friends for Lunch and also to visit Ponce City Market. I liked the PCM and the Food Hall was great. One day, I will have to check out each restaurant - they have a large assortment of eateries. My friends wanted to sit inside a restaurant, instead of the food court and we selected Bellina Alimentari. I did know what to order but selected the Panino - pork and salad - it was excellent - lots of flavor and I didn't over eat. My friends chose Lasagna, meatballs, potatoes and the butter squash soup - they all enjoyed their meals - nothing left on their plates. They also sell many of their own food products. When I went to the water station, I noticed a larger area to eat, a bar and some sofas. I would recommend this place. I forgot - you order your food at the counter and they will bring it to your table.

Bellina Alimentari is one of the eateries in the recently opened Ponce City Market Food Hall. This was my first time at Ponce City Market and I decided to give this casual spot a try for dinner. It's a cross between a counter service restaurant and market store. The short menu features Italian fare. Because of how the menu was designed and typeset, it wasn't a quick read. Ordering is done at the counter where you're given a number, the food is then brought to your table. I had the Pumpkin Soup and Lasagne Alla Bolognese. When the food was brought to my table, it was set down rather carelessly. With the soup spilling over onto the tray and no apology from the person bringing it. Considering the prices, I was surprised to see the food served on paper plates. The soup was missing something. It lacked flavor and it wasn't warm enough. The Lasagne was very good, but the portion was small considering the price. The total price of my meal along with a soda was $24, and that's without a gratuity. For me the prices here are too high food you're ordering at a counter and served on paper plates. I'd rather spend that kind of money at a nice sit down restaurant with good service. Parking at Ponce City Market is by the hour.

Had always wanted to visit Ponce City Market and we finally made the trek from Alpharetta. Asked a sales rep at Anthropologie where she would recommend and she said she had recently eaten at Bellini and it was very good with great service. You can order at the counter or eat in the back with wait staff. We chose the latter. It is very small with a bar, high tables and 3 booths with one small round table. We chose the booth as it looked more comfortable. My entree, squid ink pasta with octopus was absolutely delicious. But I was underwhelmed by the atmosphere and service. Waiter did not offer to refill my ice tea. These restaurants are not what I would call a fine dining experience. We are an active retired couple and I felt the Ponce City Market would be more appreciated by millenials. Sorry, but for great dining, we will be heading to the many Avalon restaurants.

The wine bar is very comfortable, sleek with excellent service. The pasta is fresh, tasty and original flavors. Loved the butternut squash soup and the reunion island cocktails

We happened by Bellina while searching for a dinner spot. Friendly knowledgable staff helped us decide what to order. 3 cheese ravioli as a special and lasagna a regular menu item, plus a mixed soda and no flour chocolate cake were shared. The dessert was superb as was the ravioli. For me, the lasagna was too salty, but I ate it all. The local is ultra hip with perfect style and charm. Thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience.

Here on business so this is where we ended up. I've been to several places at PCM and most are lackluster. This is one of the better ones. The lasagna was fairly good. Nothing to write home about or incite you to travel here, but fair.

We had a family dinner recently (6 people) and ordered many things from the menu including appetizers (Miston board), dinners (Carbonara, Ragu, Polpo, Pomorodo, Milanese) and many specialty drinks. Everything was delicious! And there was a mistake with our reservation and they went above and beyond to make it up to us. The entire experience was wonderful!

My husband and I had just walked 8 miles on the belt-line and were starving when we got to Ponce City Market. Nothing in the open market appealed to us so we decided to have a sit-down meal at Bellina Alimentari. We could not have been more pleased. I was especially excited because they had gluten free pasta. We were so thirsty from our walk, and they immediately brought us water and a water bottle. My husband had a homemade grapefruit drink, and I had delicious tea. We each had the Carbonara - mine with gluten free pasta. The portion was huge, and it was delicious. Our very attentive waiter told us it is their most popular. We sat outside and, eventhough, it was very hot outside, it was cool on the covered patio. My husband said the bread was delicious. We were too full for dessert, but I am sure they have some good ones. They hand make the pasta, and if you sit outside, you can watch them make it through the window. I was so very surprised at teh quality fo the food, at a reasonable price. Ponce City Market is so very fun to walk through as well.

A different experience if you don't want to go to a restaurant. It's got more of a food store feel, where you place your order with the cashier. The food is obviously Italian-inspired, very tasty, and light. Great meal.

Stopped at Ponce Street Market at the start of a girls’ trip. We had thought to go to the rooftop, but when we realized it was more of a social and games, we decided to go to this wine bar on the lower level. The service was good, the wine was good. The charcuterie board was okay… mostly bread, we thought there would be more meats and cheeses. The atmosphere is very quaint and comfortable. Overall, it was a good start to our fun girls’ weekend.

I love good pasta, so I decided to give Bellina Alimentari a try. I sat in the bar and found service to be fairly slow at the end of the bar. The last seat near the service station is sort of in a traffic area too... maybe it should get deleted. The ragu was very good, although the portion is small (which makes sense, since its to be eaten with a main). I didn't love the wine menu, which started at about $15/glass and went up from there. Since it was a mixed experience, I visited again before reviewing. I went to the walk-up counter the second time. I ordered the pesto and shells and a slice of the Neapolitan pizza as well. Both were just okay. I want to like Bellina, but I just didn't love it.

This restaurant is definitely worth visiting but prices are steep for the kind of ambiance you are getting. The staff: Everyone I talked to was nice, warm, and welcoming. Our server was very attentive. The ambiance: As mentioned initially, the restaurant is beautiful, clean, and well decorated. The area is fairly open to the outside and other persons walking around in Ponce City Market, so it tends to get noisy and precludes any chance at a quiet Italian meal (at least on Saturday nights). However, while the restaurant is transparent to those milling around outside, it is also transparent inside, where there is no wall or room dividing you and the kitchen, and you can see everything that is going on. So it's by no means a quiet cozy dinner. Although they had a sofa seat for two which was nice. The food itself was excellent: We had the East Pole espresso tagliatelle which came with shiitake mushrooms and kale. It was really delicious with crunchy bits on top which added a nice crunch. We also ordered the vegetarian lasagna which was different from lasagna I've eaten in other places, very authentic, with eggplant, pomodoro, basil, mozzarella, parmigiano reggiano We ordered a red wine and white wine. Our bill came to $70! 2 entrees and 2 glasses of wine! Parking in Ponce City Market: There should be plenty of parking available, and it is at an insignificant price, even on weekends. I don't know how often we would frequent this place.

First visit to the market and Bellina is one of the first stores. Didnt need to go much further. We tasted cheeses, charcuterie, breads and spreads. Every single one delicious. Kevin was knowledgeable and friendly and wonderful help to choose things we’d like.

Was excited to try this place as this was the last restaurant we had not tried at Ponce. It was just okay. Service outside was rather weak (server was actually eating a King of Pops as he was outside on the patio he was servicing). Cheese and charcuterie plate was a joke. $18 for three small pieces on one cheese, a few breadsticks, olives, 2 meats. Not worth the price paid especially the lack of cheese expected. Instead head down to Biltong Bar for their cheese and jerky plate. Same cost but so much more to offer. Overall the place was ok. Not great but not the worst.

Wonderful fresh made pasta! Olivia is one of the best servers in Atlanta! She knows the menu and always makes you feel welcome! Thank you for the wonderful service and great food!

Absolutely delicious! Pastas were absolutely as they should be, al dente and flavorful. Ragú and GA Shrimp pastas were outstanding. Can’t wait to come back.

First time here and the service outside was not that great. Seemed like one guy and i practical had to yell to get him to stop. But he did get some water for my dog, but only because i asked. Just ordered a beer so can't judge on the food. Beer price wasn't bad but the service seemed kinda slow. I say pass

The wine bar area provides a great location for a comfortable meal. Our second time here for lunch and on both occasions the food has been wonderful, the wine very well priced and excellent service.

We went here with friends on a Saturday afternoon and we ate outside and didn't feel we had the best service but it wasn't bad. The food was very good, the barrata cheese was crazy delicious as was the charcuterie. The porchetta sandwich was good, but certainly, just sliced pork (tasted like processed meat), rather than a fennel based porchetta with lots of flavor. Nice wine selection.

This place never disappoints. Their pastas are hearty, cocktails delicious, and service super friendly. Nested in the Ponce City Market, a repurposed Sears/train station/police headquarters, this place is charming, relaxed and… chick. Do not miss a stroll at nearby Atlanta’s Belt Line Corridor after having a big meal!

I was lured to this place by a colorful selection of pasta, which is made in front of you. My food looked pretty, but it didn't taste that great. Black Polpo pasta wasn't cooked long enough. I like el dente pasta but not super hard. Carbonara tasted better minus the raw egg, which should be listed as a raw egg, not farm egg on their menu. The portion was way too small. Tiramisu tasted better than pasta. I saw employees eating Domino's Pizza there. It is sort of sad that they won't get a free pasta meal on their shift.

On my second visit to the Ponce City Market Food Hall, I way over-ordered at this casual combination Italian market and eatery. I had a hard time choosing, and ended up adding cheese-stuffed meatballs to a large penne pomodoro and what I assumed would be a side beet salad. Wrong! My salad - with escarole, both golden and red beets and ricotta salata - was entree sized and tasty. The sauce - made with San Marzano tomatoes - was pretty good over the fresh large penne pasta, and the meatballs were really good. There seemed to be a full service area, but I ordered at the counter and sat at a table, where my food was delivered to me. All the orders coming out looked good. Overall, this is a good option at PCM!

We had a leisurely day as we walked enjoyed the walk around the markets and picked Belinda to have a drink and snack then lunch because we liked the look of it but was disappointed as the service was slow. The had sufficient staff but the bar was slow and our second glass of bubbles was flat. Had to send it back. The cheese platter was good but was so disappointed with the pesto pasta which was tasteless. The gluten free pasta with squid in a tomato sauce was good and the kids meal was passable. Disappointing as the atmosphere was great and being able to watch them making pasta was fun.

My husband and I were let down by our choice of pasta dishes. The flavor just wasn't there. Service was great, however!

Great food and excellent service in private dining room to celebrate life and family. Meatball appetizers were a favorite by all. Ragu, eggplant lasagna, carbonara, and GA shrimp were all enjoyed. Tiramisu was by far the best of desserts. Nice place to enjoy time with the family.

If you've ever been to an Eataly location, you will understand what this is when I tell you it is very similar but on a smaller scale. We sat at the bar, enjoyed watching the food preparation and busy atmosphere of the lunch crunch. The best salad and the meat balls were both delicious. The bread and olive oil were a special treat. All together it was $28, tip included.

First day in town on a vacation and hubby and I were just walking and exploring around our AirBnB. We found the Market on Ponce which is a cool place with eateries and shopping. We couldn't decide on what to eat for dinner so we thought Italian would be a win. Started with the meatballs appetizer. The bread served with it was positively delicious: meatballs were super tender and the tomato cream sauce was incredibly flavorful. I had the pasta ragu for dinner and it too was incredible. Hubby had the Italian panini. Unfortunately that was a miss: bread too thick for the filling ratio and too much mayo made it slide around and it wasn't pressed like panini we are used to. This was really good overall however so give it a try.

This is the second time I have eaten at Bellina Alemantari. The first time was wonderful and the second time was equally as wonderful. As is my norm, I sat at the bar to eat and, as is usually the case, the bartenders can best guide you as to the best things on the menu. Sitting at the bar sometimes provides a second source of entertainment as in the adjacent room, they sometimes make the fresh pasta. It is an art they masterfully conduct. The pasta is among the finest I have had and I would have to say, the menu regular Ragu with tagliatelle pasta is the all star. Being seasonal items, we tried the Polpo squid ink pasta with braised octopus and the Georgia shrimp pasta. On a previous visit I also had the Lasagna (which was excellent), but the pasta is the real standout here - so don't miss it. My only comment would be the Georgia shrimp and pasta had a bit too much onion in it, but it was still delicious. Otherwise, everything else is truly excellent. Try this place and sit at the bar. You won't regret it.

This was our first trip to Ponce City Market. The space looked urban, chic, and we were excited to try a new restaurant. Our first choice was closed for a private party, so we chose Bellina as a runner up. The menu looked good, and the decor suggested that this might offer some authentic Italian fare. Having not been to Italy, I can't say whether it was authentic or not, but even if it had been, the presentation was so poor such that we would not have been able to enjoy the experience. We arrived at 7 PM on a Tuesday evening. The restaurant consists of about six full service tables, a bar, and a few tables which operate in quick service fashion (order at counter and eat at the table). There was only one table left for full service, which three of us took as a business dinner. We were seated quickly, and that's about the last thing that happened in a timely fashion for us. A server did come to take drink orders, warning us right off the bat that they had apparently been hit hard over the weekend and were dangerously low on red wines, as in, there were two glasses of red wine left in the restaurant (I have no idea even what kind of wine that turned out to be). The other two in our party took those glasses of wine, and we were served water. Then we saw no other servers for about fifteen minutes. My husband went to speak to a manager. Part of the problem seemed to be that the bartenders were doubling as servers, and the bar appeared to require more attention than the tables. We were also at the end of the row of tables, so no one ever walked past us. Eventually someone did take our orders. Between three of us, we ordered two salads (to share), an order of the bread "baked in house", suggesting to us that it would be served fresh and warm, and three pasta entrees. It was past 8 PM before we even received bread, and we were really disappointed at the quality of the bread. There were two kinds of bread--perhaps one came with the meal and the other was the special one we ordered. Neither was warm or fresh tasting, and despite a promise from the server that he would return with balsamic vinegar to dip with the olive oil, he never returned. My husband went to speak with a manager again. The balsamic vinegar eventually arrived, but by this time, we had been hungry enough to eat most of the bread, even as cold and chewy as it was. The salads (one beet salad and one with the farro) were both good and had been thoughtfully split (though they had each been split in two and we were sharing amongst three, but this was not an issue for us, as we hadn't even expected the split). The pasta dishes turned out to be disappointments again. By themselves, the pasta entrees may have deserved four stars, but the problem was that the first entree was served, along with the crispy potatoes on the side. The two other pastas did not arrive. Being polite, the one person who had gotten his entree would not touch it, and as two of us had lost our eating utensils when the salad plates were taken away, he could not even offer us a taste of his dinner. Then the server came back with two more entrees, neither of which we had ordered, so she had to go figure out who had ordered them. Then our actual entrees were finally brought out. By this time, all three pastas were barely lukewarm, and the crispy potatoes were no longer crispy. We dared not to return anything back to the kitchen, as we had waited long enough for food. There were no offers of cracked pepper or extra cheese, and when I did ask for pepper, I was given a very cafeteria-style pepper shaker, not what you would expect in a nice restaurant. There were three choices for desserts, and they turned out to be the same items as we had seen in the glass case at the front of the restaurant. But the flourless torte turned out to be much smaller than the one we had seen in the glass case. Perhaps it would have been wiser to order one to go. The tiramisu was just okay. I would not recommend either one again. In all, the food, had the pasta been served hot, could have been given four stars if we had considered just the salads and pasta. The desserts deserved fewer stars, and the bread was an out and out disappointment. In all, on a weeknight, dinner for three people took nearly two and a half hours, and this was after speaking with a manager twice. The menu also happens not to have an appetizer section at all, though we knew this before going into the restaurant. On the plus side, the servers were friendly (if scarce) and the decor was attractive. Not that we told the restaurant this, but our dinner guest is a senior design director for a major hotel chain, so entertaining an expert in the hospitality industry at this place was a bit embarrassing for us as well.

We had a 7 hour layover so from our 20 day European honeymoon and decided to be crazy one last time since my hubby had never been to Atlanta so we Uber'd over to Ponce City Market. We got lost trying to get up to the rooftop but found this cute little spot and decided to settle instead but boy were we wrong! We were greeted by Erin, Avery and David and due to it being an odd hour between lunch and dinner, we basically had the place to ourselves which was so relaxing after a long day of travel. Erin was attentive to our taste and whipped up incredible cocktails! Avery and David came through with amazing recommendations. The bread was chefs kiss, so good and we loved the homemade Mac and Cheese so much that my husband wants to go back to Atl just to have an actual meal from this place! 12/10 recommend and at some point, we will be back! Thanks again and hats off to the team that served us and made my hubby's first time in Atlanta so memorable ◡̈

Great vibe, super friendly bartenders, food was great although we only had apps. Would definitely return for dinner as pastas looked great.

My husband did enjoy his ragu pasta. However, my cod was just okay. Nothing to write home about and I asked for spinach instead of green beans and it was a small amount of spinach...............very small. The chairs at the table were uncomfortable and we had to ask for ice water as it was a hot day and they were serving table warm water. Service was good. I love Ponce City Market so we will have to try another place.

If you've never tried polenta, you've got to get yourself to the Ponce City Market and try some! They are like smooth, airy grits. Divine! You can get them topped with meat sauce for a side, or ask a double as an entree. (menu reads: creamy polenta, meat ragù, parmigiano reggiano, under the "sides".) After I finished one helping, I sure wished I had ordered two! I happen to have to live life as a gluten free diner, but I'm happy to report that this dish is GLUTEN FREE! These are so yummy that I wanted to bathe in them, use them for eye-cream at night, and get married to them. I'm making plans to get there again soon!

Good, solid italian food in a very nice spot and with good service. No real complaints as a good place to go. Not exceptional either but solid

Great Italian restaurant with fantastic service and food and ingredients to take home if you need to! We started with a great bee called a Night on Ponce. We then shared the Misto board (Foccaccia, Tallegio, Goats Cheese, Coppa, Njuda on toast, veg , relish etc) and the Tuscan soup which were very good. For main we shared Pomodoro, Ragu and Carbonara which were all delicious. Lovely sangiovese and good coffee came to $137 between the four of us which was excellent value considering the quality. A must visit

We stumbled upon this place in the Ponce City Market recently. The pasta was amazing. There are 2 way to eat, order first and then sit down, or be seated in the back portion of the restaurant and have regular service. 2 of us sat in the back area in the green sofa chairs they had. It was a little hard to eat at these chairs because the table is very small and high, especially for 2 people.

We were there on 12/28 with a group of friends and ordered over $150 worth of food, including the meatloaf which was dry, and pasta that was bland. We sent an order of olives, which cost $6, back for fresh ones. The staff, including the manager did not want to accommodate our request. We had to argue with the manager until he begrudgingly switched them out. In a fit of anger, he threw the olives in the trash can. I didn't expect this type of service, especially from a new restaurant where the average meal price is $20-25 per person. The service was poor and slow. I had to get up to ask the cashier where our drink order was. My guess is the staff is inexperienced and there's a lack of service training. I was willing to overlook the mediocre food and service because I understand that it's a new restaurant; but the manner in which the manager dealt with our request was unexpected and unprofessional, therefore I will not visit this restaurant again.

Fresh caprese sandwich is excllent. They hav lots of quality provisions as well as Italian chocolates.

A wonderful culinary experience in Atlanta. The food was marvelously prepared and the service was second to none. They had gluten free pasta that my wife and daugther enjoy.

We dined here for lunch, and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Italian Cuisine. I had the Eggplant Lasagna, which was delish!, and my friend had the Brasstown Beef Short Ribs, and he did something he rarely does - he says "try this", which means he was impressed (and he's not easily impressed), I tried it, and the short ribs were scrumptious. Great place for Authentic Italian food.

We dined at this restaurant Sunday June 18, 2017 for lunch. We placed our order at the counter and then waited for the food to come out. It appeared that the kitchen was clearly unorganized. The food came out in stages and the manager stated it would be out on several occasions. The issue that sent me over the edge was when I bit into something hard in my chicken salad. I WAS LUCKY I DID NOT BREAK A TOOTH. I took it up to the manager and showed it to her. I told her I thought it might be a bone and she stated that it was boneless and would show it to her chef. That was it!!! No apology or anything I would not recommend this place poor service small portions expensive and poor management

Went in for lunch. There was a short wait at the counter order. The order taker was very professional and made a few suggestions. Our food was delicious. Short wait time for take out. Sat outside to enjoy the weather. Loved that the restaurant market. This was a great stop. Will be back. Vegetarian options available.

...really we said “WOW!” several times as we enjoyed our fine lunch! The four of us each had a different entré: carbonara with bacon and a runny egg yolk, tagliatelle with shiitake mushrooms, Georgia Shrimp with tarragon and lemon, and a baked eggplant lasagna. All wow-inspiring. We shared an appetizer: melt-in-your-mouth meatballs with soft focaccia to sop up the sauce. Our waiter, Chris, was attentive and truly helpful without interrupting conversations. But we needed his advice for wine and he brought samples of his red and white recommendations. My negroni was outstanding. Another cocktail at the table, a Compari and soda was pronounced “best I ever had!” The whole staff was energetic and personable.

Great little wine joint in Ponce Market. Good selection of Italian wine and the food was very good. Great for meeting friends or a date.

Gorgeous (but small) location at our favorite Ponce City Market. We sat outside. Food was delectable--comforting Italian-style pasta with deep flavor. I got the Ragu and my husband ordered the vegetarian spinach lasagne with bechamel sauce. Service was a bit slow, but friendly. We'll be back.

I treated my best friend to a day at Ponce City Market in honor of her birthday. She chose Bellina Alimentari from which to dine based on the fact that at 1:30 pm the establishment had the least amount of people in line to purchase food. I ordered a chicken salad panini and she chose a pasta dish with a meat ragu sauce. I was severely disappointed in the chicken salad panini in that the chicken salad was nothing special and the panini wasn't even toasted. It seemed like more bread than actual chicken salad (or even the few sprigs of limp arugula). The side was a watery, tasteless giardiniera, which consisted of a single piece of cauliflower and less than a teaspoon of chopped onion and red bell pepper. My friend's pasta dish was heavy on pappardelle pasta and very light on meat ragu. The total cost of our meal (with a single glass of Sangiovese wine) was $35+ dollars. Very overpriced.

I like this restaurant a lot. The carbonara is the best I have ever had! The service is good, but a little slow. I really recommend the place.

Disappointing. Order at the counter from the not particuarly interested employee; they bring your food. Real forks and decent napkins. Tiny portions for pretty big bucks. My son's $12. panini was a 4" by 4" cold ham and cheese. Excuse my lack of sophistication, but a panini is a hot press, so shouldn't a panini sandwich be cooked on such a press? Never seen one that isn't. If you don't want cheese and gluten, you're out of luck. I had the charcuterie plate, that being my only option. Interesting, small with little variety. The side salad was about 1/3 red onions. I'd say from looking around at other people's food, that you should stick with the pasta dishes. They seemed adequately portioned and my guess is they're pretty good. But there's better and more reasonalby priced food all around in the market.

We sat out on their patio which is so nice and peaceful compared to their busy and noisy market/restaurant inside. The service is unbelievably slow and not very good. My husband ordered the minestrone soup and the waitress brought him an asparagus soup instead. She said she hoped he wouldn't mind but they don't make the minestrone on the weekends! Something she SOULD have told him when he ordered it!! They brought us the wrong salad, and took about 30 minutes to bring us the one we had ordered. It was the Farro salad and we really enjoyed it. The pasta here is housemade and delicious! We especially enjoyed the lasagna - spinach and mushrooms with ricotta and béchamel sauce. This is not an inexpensive place - they charge $2.00 just for a piece for bread to eat with your meal! We ordered the Tiramisu for dessert and were really disappointed - it came in a very small glass and did not have much flavor - maybe that is why they only gave you about 1/2 cup serving of it! (and charged $6.00!!)

Took the family to Ponce City Market on Sunday morning. Opted to do lunch at Bellina. Had the caprese sandwich with a side salad, thought it was very tasty. I have two kids under 9 and they had the pasta and loved it. I thought the food was good and service was fine. Would do lunch again.

This place was amazing. Homemade noodles to die for. Great salads. Neat space located inside Ponce City Market. Various gourmet food stores that you can buy as well like noodles, cheese, chocolates, seasonings. Right across from a beer place. Best of both worlds. Amazingly good food except for the regular spaghetti. Don’t even bother!

Lots of choices in Ponce Market, but you will not be disappointed by Bellina! The rucola salad was refreshing and fresh. We loved both the polpo pasta and the georgia shrimp pasta. And be sure to try the apple badil soda! Yum!! Felt like we were in Italy again!

Had dinner there. The food was Very Good. I had the Carbonara with Shrimp. The taste was different for a Carbonara. Compliments to the Chef. The service, I originally wanted a salad and add shrimp and was told Im sorry but we dont do that. I was trying to be healthy and not have carbs. The girl at the check out should smile which would make the patrons more comfortable and her job easier. Over all the experience was good and I would definitely try it again. They also have a wine bar.

We went there just to have some wine and a cheese plate. The cheese ,olives and prosciutto was very good. The wine could have been better. They don't have a good selection of wines.

grab a few plates & share with friends. we went across the way & grabbed a few different wines & shared! we tried a few incredible dishes & it was so fun to talk business & have a little pleasure!

We had a late lunch at Bellina in Ponce City Market with our nephew. It’s noisy, but not overwhelming. I’m generally not a fan of serve yourself food establishments, but the food was so good, it was worth it. Plus, we were in a bit of a hurry, so it worked. I had the veggie lasagna, husband & nephew pasta Ragu, daughter Pasta Pomodoro, plus shared salads. Salad was ok. Not quite enough flavor and dressing almost non existent. But the entrees were delicious! Highly recommend!

Bella is in a corner of the Ponce City Market. You order at the counter. and if you are seated inside, they bring the food to you. First of all, the wine bar in the back, is fantastic. Great selections, and good recommendations by the bar tender. The Butternut Squash soup was wonderful! The meatballs were really good, and we got a couple salads from the to go counter to share which we enjoyed. I was really impressed with the selection of Italian goods for sale in the space. Fabulous Olive oils and vinegars. It is definitely on my return to list. They also offer cooking classes, and have a great private dining room for a small group..Chef's table type dining! Love it!

This was my first visit to Bellina and I was very impressed. Great food! The staff was excellent as well. I’ll be back next time I visit Atlanta in January

Our family wandered in here one busy Saturday afternoon following a walk from Inman Park. We decided to eat at Bellina because the line and crowds weren't as bad here as some of the other food places in PCM. The atmosphere is very clever, and lucky for us we found a table right away, so some of our group ordered while I grabbed the dining spot. We were 4 people, and lunch was about $62. What does one get for about $62 including tax and tip? Two smallish pasta dishes, an arugula salad with plain tasting hard to eat croutons, one radish, tons of onions which were not listed on the menu, and a $12 chicken salad sandwich that was also small for the price charged. We all laughed at how small it was for the cost. We also had a $4 specialty soda (meh) and a $5 beer. We also had two pieces of focaccia bread with a tiny bit of olive oil. The pastas were rated "OK" which was disappointing given the expense and portion size. On a positive note, the servers and staff were very pleasant and helpful. We'll not likely return here given the prices for just OK food.

Their selection of fresh pastas were perfect. Tonight we had their squid ink variety. We paired it with paprika shrimp, butter poached scallops, vodka sauce and some of their imported ricotta cheese. Delicious! We have two more of their fresh pastas to try along with a red pesto sauce and cherry tomato sauce. We can't wait! There was also a gianduja bar that is simply divine. A treasure for sure! Next time, we will be trying some cheeses. Their selection is stellar!

We recently ate here and it is really overpriced. The ambiance is kind of like eating in a marketplace deli. But the food was really delicious and it is all Italian imported or so they say. We ate their olive bread, ravioli, pomodoro, mac'n cheese, lasagna, roasted fingerling potatoes. tiramisu and panna cotta. I would go back just for the food!

I convenient place to stop for lunch while cycling on the Atlanta Greenway. I had not complaints with the food, which was above average but not outstanding. Service was slow even though the place was not packed. I think the crowd it attracts aren't looking specifically for an Italian restaurant, therefore a few draft beers instead of bottles for cans, would be nice. Also, this is the South but not iced tea, regular or sweet, was available.

We were in PCM and went into this place just to get away from the hustle and bustle. I'm so glad we did. The meatballs were great but the ragu was simply delicious. I don't really love Italian food because it's typically one note, but you could taste all the flavors. I loved this place. Good quality food. Fresh ingredients. Good service. Would definitely recommend.

We ate here for lunch, yummy pasta. You can tell they use good quality olive oil and expensive products. Major con was we were here with an elderly family member in a wheel chair, and the full service area and wine bar in the back, didn't accommodation handicap. Also they only had 2 maybe 3 tables (4 tops) in the dinning area that could accommodated handicap (we were 5 people). We had to eat in the walk way and told they would serve our food in togo containers, but once I said they had no handicap family tables they were willing to serve our food in normal plates/dishes. Another con was, my sisters pasta was so spicy, too spicy and the menu didn't even specify that it was spicy.

They offered dining at the bar, at tables and outside tables. We didn't find an available three person table and opted for eating at the bar. We sampled their two original, speciality drinks; the Apple and Rosemary and the Lemon and Thyme. We preferred their Lomon and Thyme as it was refreshing and tangy. We ordered the lasagne alla bolognese (fresh pasta, beef and pork ragù, béchamel, parmigianoreggiano, prosciutto cotto), Schiacciata (Spotted trotter rosemary ham, mushroom spread, taleggio cheese), and Bucatini all'Amatriciana (large spaghetti noodles with a hole in the middle with spicy tomato sauce with pancetta). All were good, but lacked that special pizazz that would make them memorable. With so many competing dining options available at the Ponce City Market, we probably won't give them a second try.

Order a platter of cheeses and a bottle of wine. You'll think you're in Europe! The wait staff is superb and my husband and I cannot wait to go back again. Very relaxing.

My partner and I usually dont go out to eat anymore because so many restaurants leave us wishing we had cooked at home. Bellina was excellent from the drinks at the bar to the food. Quality good tasting food. Not good tasting but incredible. I had the spinach lasagna and from the first bite to the last, it was incredible. Thanks to you all at Bellina for a great meal. We will be back

The atmosphere here is really cool and the decor is beautiful. All of the waitstaff were really nice and happy to give recommendations. I got the Carbonara and it was really good. They serve really yummy cheeses and meats too. Definitely trying that next time. Looked like they also have cooking classes? How cool!

The location at Ponce Market is great with Bellina one of many options. The food was very good with house made pasta (Pappardelle Ragu) and the Pesto Rotini were excellent. The wine offerings were limited but good although somewhat over priced by the glass. I would recommend for a late evening dinner in surroundings.

Met at Bellina's for a business lunch. Seated quickly and a server followed immediately to bring water and get drink orders. We selected a light appetize of break and olives which was a perfect start to our meal. The server was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu and was very helpful answering questions and providing guidance. My colleagues ordered the Ragu and the Green Pasta w/ Shrimp. I ordered the Rapini, a dish I had never tried before. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and the service was handled very well by the staff. Both colleague's dishes looked amazing, and both said that their food was delicious. The rapini dish that I ordered was exceptional. Perfectly cooked homemade pasta, broccoli rabe, shaved cheese, and delicious locally sourced ground pork, all perfectly seasoned and combined to make a delicious dish that is definitely on my "must order again when I am back in Atlanta" list. I highly recommend Bellina Alimentari for anyone seeking an authentic homemade Italian cuisine experience in a wonderful and eclectic setting that is the Ponce Market.

The food is amazing and they sell a lot of Italian products. It made us feel like home. The service was outstanding, they kept asking if everything was good. The manager came to talk to us in Italian as soon as she heard we were Italian speaking. We will come back soon and I am eager to try one of their products to cook at home.

The food was really good. It was genuine Italian food. The pasta was homemade. The soup and salad was delicious. The portions are generous. I would recommend going here.

While in Atlanta we went to Ponce City Market, we looked around and settled on Bellina Alimentari. for the Italian. Having lived in Italy, unfortunately can be critical of what I'm eating but I have an open mind. The food was good, flavorful. But, needs some improvement to be better. The carbonara was dry, too Al Dente so absorbed all sauce, the egg yoke was cracked and sat under the heat too long and hardened so it did not have the creamy effect. But a good attempt, flavors were there, cooked a bit more and a few more spices would have made it a more enjoyable experience. The Smoked Ravioli my daughter had. The peas overtook the dish and you could taste very little. The ravioli's were cooked properly, the mushrooms you need to like earthy flavors and heavy handed peas and you will love the dish. Personal opinion was peas were too many and just simply overpowered the dish. Appetizer we had the Misto Board, it was good, the goat cheese was really good, the peppers "HOT", and the rest average. All in all a good place, nice atmosphere, price is what to expect in Atlanta area and location. Again, I am critical, thought good but room for improvement. The water was knowledgeable, but a bit lacking, took a while for him to show up. We sat outside so that had a lot to do with it I'm sure.

Awesome, delicious 😋this restaurant it's like European and Brazilian restaurant... with fresh food.
Wonderful experience
Went to Bellini's after walking around the Food Court at Ponce City Market. Sat at the bar and had a very nice time. Adam was the perfect host/bartender. The wine he poured after getting our likes was perfect. The cheese & meat plate was nice; the minestrone was rustic but exceptional. A little pricey for lunch but still we enjoyed our time here.
