Amazing experience. Food and service were top notch and everyone made us feel so welcomed. Best chicken parm I’ve ever had.

Great dinner in the heart of Philly! The dinner portions are perfect and the service of staff was professional, witty and engaging; across the board from the manager to the wait staff. We could not relate to the negative experience other encountered; we never witnessed it. Our group of four really enjoyed the food and experience. Highly recommend the filleted branzino and let the wait staff recommend the wine. They are truly knowledgeable. Would definitely return again.

Great vibe, service and food. Not fancy or high end. Owned by two brothers who bought after Covid. They are young but have worked there years. All their “homies” work with them. Funny, irreverent and sometimes profane, they all take pride in Bellini’s and it shows. Delicious and fun!

I’ve been to Philly several times in the last few years — always staying at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar (HIGHLY Recommend but that’s a different review). Tonight I visited Bellini. The service was phenomenal (thanks Robert!) — knowledgeable, kind, efficient. The ambiance is excellent and the food is clearly homemade and authentic. Robert asked why this is my first time at Bellini — Now I’m asking myself the same thing! Make sure you don’t make the same mistake. Try Bellini - you won’t be disappointed.

Great service and a nice, European atmosphere (but the windows need to be cleaned). Our waiter was attentive and poured a nice glass of wine in a unique way. Zuppa de Pesce was fantastic, as were the arugula infused gnocchi. Pasta and lasagna were a bit gummy, but very tasty. Desserts were amazing too.

I searched for “good happy hours near me” after getting a massage just up the street. This place did not disappoint. Every single thing I ate was absolutely delicious. The meatballs were so rich- possibly the best I have ever eaten. I had intended to only do happy hour, but once I heard that they made their tiramisu in house, I couldn’t resist ordering some. I’m so glad I did! Wonderful, friendly service and delicious food… who could ask for more?

We were a large party. The staff and the food at Bellini were phenomenal. Really loved the decor and interior of the restaurant. It’s not a large space so one feels like one is in someone’s home. Will definitely return for another meal next time we are in Philadelphia.

Getting and holding my 9yo grandson's attention and respect are rare events, but Michael, our server, did this effortlessly. Had a quippy exchange with Justin every time he came to the table. Imagine a 9yo with smile on his face for an entire meal! I mention this because we've never (not once!) had a server with these skills serve us anything but a great meal. In this case, superb eggplant, chicken parmigiana and lasagna. Thanks, Michael, for keeping that string going....

We had dinner there once. We particularly appreciated the chicken parm. The food was tasteful and the vegetables as sides absolutely excellent. We will certainly return when we will be back in Philadelphia.

Came for restaurant for a fixed price menu. I am so glad that after a mess up with my reservation I agreed to sit at the bar. First Chris the bar tender was a delightful host and entertaining. He made terrific suggestions about the menu choices. The chicken parm is the best I have ever tasted. The friendly service was with every person I encountered. I hated to leave that is how much I felt like family. The funny thing about this restaurant is I live three blocks from it and have never visited for the entire 15 years they have been open. Bellini has now become my neighborhood restaurant that let's me feel as if I've traveled to Rome for a home-cooked meal.

This restaurant should be ranked Top 10. Great food, very friendly service, great ambiance. Will be returning for sure

Quaint setting that is well decorated. Clean bathroom. The DoverSole was excellent. Will return this Summer on next trip to Philly

We arrived bearing a paper gift certificate from during Covid and asked to have them verify it since we had failed a previous attempt to use it online. We were informed that they would not honor it since “it is not the same restaurant” that we bought the certificate from. Check their website. It says opened in 2001. The new owners bought an existing business, but now choose to dishonor an obligation that came with that purchase. But that’s not all. We were regulars there since 2001. Now we never will go back, and will suggest the same to our friends and contacts. Bad business practice. I’d rate them zero if I could, and that is too bad, because we were regular for a reason.

Loved the Warm fun friendly staff. The Classic Italian atmosphere is perfect . Excellent meal! We ll be back! Perfect night!

Fantastic. This family owned restaurant is top notch from every aspect- food, service and drink. Especially good is the cosmopolitan- it is the best I have ever had……..and I’ve had many! The waiters are efficient and friendly

We organized a graduation dinner for 20 people which was amazing. The food and service were fantastic. All the entrees and apps were delicious and cooked to perfection. We were treated like family.

We were 4 pax for dinner. We ordered 4 differant main dish and 2 first inorder to taste them all. All of them were the best ever ate at any Itaian restuarent. The service was great and all main dish was served at same time. The disert- afugato, was just excelant. Go there, you will enjoy

Oh my goodness, loved this place. The inside dining room is beautiful. The staff was pleasant, helpful, and did not rush us. It was quiet calm and peaceful. The food was very good. The gentleman who owned the place stopped to talk, and was helping his staff. Well worth the money we spent. Would definitely recommend to anyone who visits Philadelphia.

We were there for a family dinner while on holidays. The service was OK, if you're not the kind of person who'd feel offended by being asked where you're from and if you were "born and raised" there... The note was above 200$ but food was not up to the expectation or to the price. It was average and very salty. The worst was the fettucine that was supposed to come with lobster and that came with disgusting fake crab fingers instead. We did not want to cause drama, we paid, left a good tip, but wanted to underline this with the server and ended up having the weirdest and most rude conversation with the owner. I won't recommend it, especially for the price and the total disrespect for customers.

I took my daughter for dinner at Bellini and besides the food being great, the staff was equally up to task! We both enjoyed our meal here and will be back for sure next time in Philly.

It was amazing Food and the staff there is always helpful and funny. It’s always a great time going to eat here as it feels like a family restaurant. The food is consistently delicious and the options are always changing with the specials that are always a hit.

The maître d’ had the worst attitude. He even went as far as asking our group to leave due to others waiting for our table. We had only been there for an hour and a half . Made a rude comment that we couldn’t do “simple math” . Who does that!!! Will never ever return

We spent a month in Italy this summer and loved the food. This restaurant reminded us of authentic Italian food from the homeland. It was very good. The service was fantastic!!! Good portions and selection. We will definitely visit here often when we visit.

Bellin has been one of my favorite restaurants in Philadelphia for years. My wife and I have eaten here more times that I can count, we have brought numerous friends and family members to Bellini for meals, and we have NEVER had a bad experience. The food is consistently good, and Francesco continues to work his magic in the kitchen with new standards for the menu and an amazing selection of evening menu specials. Menu favorites include the duck ragu and the pasta with lobster. But,. honestly, we have never had a bad experience in all of the visits, and the kitchen is very accommodating when it comes to special requests. The service is uniformly attentive and friendly. I urge you to try Bellini; you will not regret it.

My wife and I are frequent Italian restaurant goers. The homemade ravioli and the the seafood entree were both very good. The service and atmosphere were excellent, and although place was fairly full, the noise level was reasonable. The homemade bread was about the best I've ever tasted! Wine bottle prices were excessive even for downtown Philly. Overall we had a very enjoyable time, and that's what counts the most.

Bad! Receptionist very rude and disorganized with reservations! Which made the experience bad! There are other great restaurants in Philadelphia that are happy to welcome tourists and with respect!

A friend and I went here for happy hour and I think I had one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in Philly. Our waiter was so fun and it was nice being casual in such a nice place and having fun. The food was amazing. There was a burrata special we got to start that was a great interlude before the chicken parm we split. Definitely recommend splitting as the portion is MASSIVE. Get it with blush sauce it’s fantastic. The happy hour drinks are very well priced. One of the other waiters came by to chat with us a few times and told us about all the desserts and I wanted all of them after he explained. Alas I didn’t have enough stomach space. We loved every minute of our time here and will definitely be back.

This is a wonderful small italian restaurant which really has the heart of philadelphia. The atmosphere is welcoming not overly formal. More like a well run family restaurant. The restaurant has a wonderful selection of homemade pastas. The sauces are to die for. The appetizer of evening Arancini was outstanding. Bread was amazing with homemade fig dip. Home made ravioli was perfect and so was the Tortelloni Affumicati with goat cheese was amazing. Too full for desserts but wine and drinks were excellent. The staff was wonderful, but special kudos to our server Robert who was gracious, amusing and gave wonderful insight into local philadelphia culture as well as the great food available.

I've walked past this restaurant a thousand times and always thought it looked charming. I decided to give it a try for my wedding anniversary, and we had a lovely time. The fare is essentially Italian, but with enough variety to please just about any palate. We started with Calamari, and appreciated the option to have it grilled rather than fried. It was excellent. My Arugula salad was unexceptional, but wound up making a nice pairing with my entree. The Roast Half Duck may not have been the best I've ever had, but was still quite good, especially the sumptuous Cabernet reduction. My wife loved her Seafood Assortment though, particularly the linguine and the white wine sauce. All in all it was a delicious meal, and certainly well worth the very reasonable price. Best of all, however, was the service. The wait staff was polite, friendly, attentive, and professional. And the atmosphere is pleasant; it has the feel of a quaint European bistro, the noise level is reasonable, and the tables are decently spaced. Parking is always a challenge in the city, so we took the PATCO train in from South Jersey--the last stop (15th-16th & Locus) is just across the street from the restaurant--which made coming and going hassle-free. I would certainly recommend Bellini, and look forward to returning in the future.

A comprehensive kids’ menu + an extensive menu for grownups makes eating here a breeze. Both the host and our server were delightful, friendly, and extremely hospitable to me and to my children. The streetery kept us dry in a rainstorm, which was shocking, but true!

Phenomenal service and great meal. We got two specials and they were great. Robert, our service was very knowledgeable and helpful. Entire wait staff was wonderful

Following a show at Marion Anderson Hall, we had a reservation for the first time to eat at Bellini‘s. I can’t believe how fantastic this restaurant is. Everything is custom-made, the pasta is amazing. We opened with bruschetta and Caesar salads. The homemade seasoning in the Caesar salad was unique, and bruschetta exuded freshness. Entrées included Tortelloni Alfumicati and linguine Al Ragu di Astice. Drinks included a Bellini blossom, and an excellent primitivo by the glass. Desserts included chocolate mousse, and a trio of sorbet’s. Everything was absolutely first-rate, and the service was efficient and pleasant. We truly enjoyed our experience at Bellini’s, and will be going here frequently in the future.
Last night in Philli - though we’d love to come back
We were delighted to have found Belinni - great food and service. Thanks to Nick for being an exceptional host…wish we were staying longer as would without doubt revisit. Loved the atmosphere in here.
