Terrible Staff, Mediocre Pizza

By Rachel S |

Belltown Pizza is right across the street from the Ace hotel. I thought it would be a great place to eat and easy to get to since I was staying at the Ace, however, the staff was terrible. The waitresses walked past me at least 10 times and took orders of other customers who arrived after me. Once they finally took my order, the pizza arrived and it really was nothing special and was kind of burnt. I would not recommend going here to people who are not regulars.

Been here a few times and thought the pizza is very good! Moderately priced.

good food good beer good ambience

By michael59102 |

Ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, large portion good meatballs souce not so robust was meat sauce could have a lot more meat in it, very tomato taste but that's ok with me. I was happily full and had a great beer with it. service was excellent vibe is good, I will go back for the pizza.

Serviceable

Reheated pizza by the slice after getting into town late. Would do it again but nothing to go out of your way for. Six or eight varieties of pie available

Excellent local pub abd pizza place

By unabacia |

Huge salads, not big but unfinishably huge. Excellent pizza; Great pub atmosphere with lots TVs to watch sports. engaging staff adds to the comfort; street side seating to on 1st Ave. A nice place to go, even better a good place to come back to if you are staying in the area.

Not New York but close enough

By Islandish |

Always on the hunt for good pizza. Sadly most places are bad and downhill from there. Yes I am pizza picky. Went to Belltown Pizza for the first time recently and have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was very good, the wait staff friendly, excellent beer selection and the bike themed interior is very cool. Bike frames as bar rails, nice. I usually get pizza to take out but this is a place I would go to sit down and spend some time. Will definitely be back.

Not good pizza!

By J P |

They messed up our order and the pizza they made was sloppy and had no flavor. There was hardly any sauce on the pizza as well. Not a good experience AT ALL! Overrated!

My fave pizza in Belltown. Open late so you can hit it up after bar-hopping.

The food was ok. I noticed a nice bar scene, but I didn't partake.

A nice place to enjoy with friends

By Carlos A |

My friends and I stopped here to get some drinks and try the pizza. We were satisfied with both, as the pizza portions were big and we all got the type of beer that we wanted.

Great value

We went during Happpy Hour and they have a $2 a slice special. We fed a family of four for $16 plus drinks and tip. The slices were huge and very tasty.

Brilliant Belltown Pizza!

By John A |

We went to Belltown Pizza as a family as we were staying a few doors along on 1st Avenue. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, giving us some great local knowledge about what to do during our stay in Seattle. The kids were made to feel welcome and loved the pinball and other games. I had some awesome buffalo wings and the beer was great too. We enjoyed ourselves so much we went back the following night and had some amazing pizza. This was our favourite place to eat in Seattle.

Yummy! I just wish they delivered.

Good pizza and fun atmosphere

By Donna S |

Stopped by after a very long day of sightseeing and started to head back to our hotel. We got a great deal that offered a 2 topping large pizza and a bucket of 4 beers for $20. The pizza had a nice thin crust and the slices were huge. Watched some soccer while enjoying our meal. The waitress was sweet and service was just right.

Pretty Good Pizza

By QueenBrie |

We visited this place after we got settled in our hotel. We were out touring the city and decided to stop as soon as they opened because we were starving! The prices are very reasonable and the pizza was delicious.

great food and ambience

We stayed at the Ace Hotel across the street and enjoyed a great pizza and meatball sandwich. Really good food.

Delicious!

Decently priced, awesome location and tasty tasty pizza! I will definately make a stop here if I am in Seattle again.

The BEST pizza in Seattle at a great price!

By KatGoddess |

We used to think Elliot Bay Pizza Co. was the best, but this is our new favorite! The sauce on this pizza is so good, and they don't skimp on it. When you walk in, it's like a pizzaria in New York, where you can peer through the glass window and watch them making pizza. Family friendly, although warning, this establishment is 100% smoking (you seat yourself), which was great for us, but maybe not for some. There is also outside seating when the weather permits. We also had the spinach dip, which was delicious, and they give you MORE than enough bread for dipping (which so many places fail to do). We also ordered a gorganzola pasta, which my fiance loved, I thought was a bit too rich. We also had margaritas, which were "ok," but we had just had some at Queen City Grill, so comparing the 2 is probably not fair. Overall, great, fun atmosphere. Slow service to start (we waited 10-15 minutes before seeing a server when first coming in), but after that, everything was perfect).

Late night pizza

By Amanda |

We arrived in Seattle quite late and was hungry but we didn't want to go far. We walked around the corner and found Belltown Pizza. We ordered single slices, pepperoni it was really good! we ended up ordering another slice each, but this time margarita which was equally as lovely. It was packed in here but service was great and food was lovely.

Nice calzone and pizza

By |

Close to Inn at El Gaucho and patio seating at sidewalk. Service not super fast but accurate. Prices reasonable.

Just Okay

By imacookiemonster |

I was expecting more based on what I read on Tripadvisor. It felt like a bar that served food. I'm glad the weather was nice so we could sit outside.

Good pizza

By SAGregg |

My wife stopped in here the first night and got pizza for the family on our trip to Seattle. Worth checking out...

There are better places

By Kturn336 |

We got a calzone and a sub. They weren't bad but they sneak in prices. I got a custom calzone with all veggies and they charged me $2 a veggie making it a $20 calzone. Plus the waitress never refilled my soda. The meals came with a salad on the side but no dressing was offered. The waitress wasn't friendly so I didn't feel comfortable asking for dressing, plus the salad had olives on it and I didn't feel like picking them off. I wish the waitress was nice enough to tell me the calzone would cost so much but she didn't. It was a waste of $34.

Better than Good

By Joshua D |

I parked in Belltown recently and overhead someone say they were headed to Belltown Pizza. 2 hours later I had a craving for pizza and decided to try it after learning our other choice had a 45 minute wait. No wait at Belltown and we thoroughly enjoyed our pizza. Will be back soon for more.

Dinner with kids

By MarthaWK |

The pizza crust is amazing!! Pasta a little dry:(. Hummus plate was nice because they give you that amazing crust to eat with your hummus! There is skeeball & pinball for the kids to play while waiting for food. Also a nice outdoor seating area but the restaurant windows open wide & you feel outside even when inside!

Not worth it

By AnnetteD606 |

Service takes forever. We ordered two different pizzas, one sausage and the other was their spicy pizza with red peppers and garlic. Sounds better than it was. We won't be back.

Fat service, and slices available!

By Graham H. |

Good lighting, good atmosphere, fast service, pizza by the slice a great option! This place is also open late into the evening so after getting drinks in Belltown you can always grab a pizza slice before heading home safely in a cab.

Great Calzone!

By CMelam |

Belltown Pizza is your typical casual pizza joint. There are loads of TVs located throughout for watching your favorite team (Go Ducks!). The service was pretty slow, but fortunately we weren't in any hurry so it didn't hold us up. We had several calzones and a few pizzas between us. The pizza wasn't anything special, but those who had calzone raved about how good it was. We also had a large chicken caesar salad that was massive and could have easily fed 2-3 people. We had some obnoxious loud drunks sit next to us towards the end which was unfortunate, but overall we had a good time and would go again.

Delicious food!!!

By The Girl With Nine Lives |

Delicious pizza!!!! Particularly excellent spot to stop for a midnight snack on your way home from the bars 😉

Pizza and Beer

By timest |

Pizza by the slice and cold beer after traveling all evening was just what we had in mind

Comfort food

By CTaaB |

After a long day of walking and much seafood during our visit (delicious salmon,) we just wanted a casual setting and a "comfort food" meal of pizza. Belltown Pizza certainly "hit the spot." We kept it simple with a thin crust, mushroom & black olive pizza. My husband had a local brew and I stuck with soda. We took a small table outside and enjoyed a quiet, casual meal. Our server was very pleasant and efficient. The pizza was quite good and, for us, choosing an outside table made the experience just what we wanted. We don't think we would have enjoyed it as much if we'd have eaten inside because the atmosphere inside was more like a sports bar or college hang out. That said, we had a delightful meal and it was the perfect (brief) departure from the outstanding Seattle seafood.

Highly recommend

By rrqueen |

Ate here our first night visiting Seattle. It was right around the corner from the vacation rental we stayed in which made it vey convenient. I'm not much of a pizza fan, so I ordered the meatball sandwich. I'm picky about meatball sandwiches, but I have to say that their meatball sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. The rest of my family ordered pizzas and they said they were great as well. Great service and great food. What more could you ask for?

Fun place to catch a game

By Hotelsnobb |

Here for a Seahawks game with a group of friends. Fun atmosphere, lots of TVs, good food, and great service. Portions are huge...my cup of soup was more like a bowl and my half salad would feed 3 people! Prices are reasonable, so a great value. They have a separate restaurant area on the other side of the bar, so family friendly. Lots of variety of pizza choices plus soup, salads, and sandwiches.

Great Everything!

By Elli M |

This place was awesome! I was initially drawn in by the fact that they had an old school SkeeBall machine, complete with wooden balls. And I'm so glad they did because the pizza, the beer, the atmosphere, and the service were incredible! We ate there twice on our 4 day vacation, we liked it that much! I drank some excellent local drafts, and we tried 3 different pizzas. One had huge chunks of salami on it and it was killer! And our waitress the second day went above and beyond in her customer service.

Hidden gem

By KSY68 |

We were heading to another pizza place that wouldn’t serve us cause it was 8 pm and our kids were with us and it turns into a bar at 8 pm. The gentleman was extremely nice about it and recommended us to go to Belltown Pizza. We are glad he did. It was very good. We found a hidden gem. Not too crowded. Very friendly staff. Really liked the pizza. Would def go.

Nice People, Good Beer, Open Late what's not to like?

By RuffleScruffle |

We rolled into Seattle on a Sunday night and had an enjoyable time at this place in Belltown. Pizza was good beer was as well. It is semi-open to the outdoors too

Decent pizza, nice to eat outdoors

By pauthenticmovement |

Typical menu, but in a neighborhood with lots of outdoor restaurants. Chopped salad was a nice change from the usual.

pizzas are excellent here

Eat this pizza. It is worthy.

By Kevin G |

After traveling from Finland and discovering my Airbnb after about 20 hours moving through air, I dropped into this pizzeria. Excellent pizza, slow but very polite service. If I were to return it would be for a visit rather than takeaway. It was rather yummy.

Good pizza

By Melissa |

This was conveniently located for our stay in Belltown, we decided on pizza for dinner and ordered a large 18” pie, this was way too big for the two of us but we were given a takeaway box so that was fine. The pizza itself was tasty but perhaps wasn’t fully cooked in the centre. Still, was a nice base and tasty toppings to select from, you can even build your own if you wanted.

Under whelmed

By kate055 |

We chose to eat here as we had passed by earlier. We were handed a dirty crumpled piece of paper as a drinks menu and an equally dirty laminated food menus! We ordered a josh pizza it was ok have tasted better. I had Rose wine which was the most tasteless I ever had costing 8$! The icing on the cake was when I was charged $11 for a glass when we queried the bill the very uninterested server said they hadn’t updated the price list REALLY a piece of paper that had been kicking around for ever! He did reduce the bill TBH there are better cleaner places out there.

Not great

By lindsaylalla |

This pizza place would probably only serve well as an after hour, need food bc I'm drunk type of pizza place, but otherwise Seattle has so many other great pizza places. The sauce on the pizza tasted like it was poured from a can straight to the pizza. The crust was sub-par. The ingredients were spotty, and the waitress didn't even get our order right, and we only ordered two slices of pizza. About the only good thing is the hours!

Neighborhood Sports Bar/Pizzeria

By backpacker31 |

Stopped in one afternoon to watch a football game and have a beer. This is a hybrid sports bar/pizzeria with a lively atmosphere. Although I didn’t order food on this visit, I liked the atmosphere and friendly staff, so I decided to return a day or so later to sample some of their Italian food. I ordered a veggie calzone which was quite good - stuffed with red onions, artichoke hearts, spinach, olives and tomatoes. It was served alongside a small salad and marinara sauce. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable.

Super greasy pizza

By Jbailey0525 |

Some people may like their pizza dripping with grease, but I'm not one of those people. This was the first place we ate when we arrived in Seattle and it did not give me a good feeling about the rest of the week. However, the service was quick and the cheese sticks were great, but the pizza was terrible. I barely got through one piece and it definitely wasn't fit to keep for the next day. My Dad will eat anything and even he wasn't interested in it. My husbands calzone was just awful... Some places assume that more is always better, but that just isn't the case with a calzone. It was so packed full of stuff that it hadn't cooked in places. We don't plan on returning.

Good pizza

By jegnm |

We dropped in from the condo next door and sat on the sidewalk on a nice Sunday evening. We had the Four Seasons pizza. It was excellent and it passed the cold pizza test the next day. Very good service. Fun to watch the wide variety of people walking by.

Average Food, Good Service

By SeminarTrekker |

We ate at Belltown Pizza on unusally hot July evening in the Belltown neighborhood. Service was good and helpful but the pizza, pasta and salads while came with generous portions was average in taste. Good value but I'd probably try another place when in SEAtown.

Good Pizza and Beer

By semimu |

Belltown is great place to grab a pizza and beer with friends and watch the game. The pizza is more NY Style (thicker crust).

Good for a quick bite

By GoChicaGo5 |

My husband and I rented an apartment in the building above Belltown Pizza for a week. While the pizza really isn't anything spectacular, they have a nice beer selection. We found ourselves stopping in here for a late night snack on several occasions during our stay. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to visit this restaurant, but if you're hungry or craving a beer and are already in the area, it's not a bad bet.

Decent pizza with TVs and good drinks

By StrollMyWorld |

Do you ever have one of those nights when you are traveling for business where you want to go into a place, sit down, watch some sports on TV, have a good drink and some cheap eats? This is the perfect place to do just that. Nothing fancy, no attitudes, a friendly crowd........I will be going back.

Delicious pizza and a nice place!

By Simon Lesage |

My friend and I were hungry and didn't know what to eat. We passed in front of the pizzeria and the smell catched us. We ordered two 12" and finished them all. 9" is enough for one person. Try the bbq chicken, it is really good with a home made sauce. All the photos and bikes hung by the roof make this place very unique.

Great pizza & teens actually allowed in

By SpeedieGirl |

Trying to find a place to eat with our teens at 6pm in this neighborhood was such a pain. None of the other restaurants would let us in because we had "under 21"ers with us. For dinner. In daylight. Even in their outdoor areas. Fortunately, Belltown didn't have such a rule. We had pizzas and ordered them "well done" (we prefer NY style pizza) & were pleasantly surprised at how good they were. Bathrooms were old but very clean. Service was very good. Outdoor & indoor seating. (And a bar where you did have to be 21 or over to sit)

Nice little bar for excellent pizza on 1st Ave

By Bob F |

When in Seattle, always make it a point to stop at Belltown Pizza--whether it's with my girlfriend or taking employees. Nice little bar with excellent pizza! Pick the right day for Bingo and you may just score a prize! Seriously, some damn good pie at Belltown Pizza.

Yummy Pizza

By Cl_Ann_Ton |

It's a Belltown-Place first of all and it serves great Pizza. On good evenings you can take your seat outside on the Patio and enjoy your meal while watching life on 1st Avenue. We had our Pizza made with our own Toppings but our daughter opted out for a piece of cheese-only Pizza - and honestly, this was sooo good. So if it is true that you know a good restaurant when the "easiest things" taste the best than you found yourself some good pizza here!

Simple Meal but Good!

By redhead_roaming |

We were able to ask our waitress for the two of us, how much to get and she was spot on! We ordered a pizza with only half of it with cheese and they got it correct. It was a pretty simple meal but it was nice to sit outside and still watch the game inside. The pizza is thin!

Perfect spot to stop!

By Erica K |

Stayed at an airbnb in the Belltown district and stopped by here on our way back to the condo. Had great service and good pizza! The building was clean and the staff was friendly. Would highly recommend this to anyone!

Great, cheap slices!

By Adrian L |

Busy Friday night, but we still got our order in quick and had our pizza delivered within 10 minutes! Bit oily, but otherwise a good slice to end the night in Seattle!

Really Good Pizza!!

By txtrvlrs |

We ate here our first night in Seattle. We found this spot not too far from our hotel. The service was good and the food was really good. Very neat atmosphere. We ordered a large pizza and it was great. Would definitely eat here again if we were in town.

Very very good pizza

By John B |

We ate here with a family of 12. We made a reservation just an hour before we went. They were very accommodating. The pizza was some of the best. The service outstanding for our large group. Minimal waiting for the food. Try it you can't go wrong!

Great late night Pizza!

By Randy M |

A must visit for a slice and a nightcap after a night out in Belltown. I prefer when I can order a whole Pie here as I like the freshness of a za when it comes right out of the oven, but at 1am, who am I to be picky. The individual slices are still really good and the bartenders here pour a good drink! I've always had a great time every time I stop in and highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a delicious slice and good company. I've heard the place also gets pretty crazy for Seahawks games. Watching a football game here is on my short list to do next Seahawks season!

Near our condo

By johnson1165 |

Very convenient to where we were staying, and after a long day of a walking sightseeing trip in Seattle we decided to stop by here. I had the sausage hero and it was very tasty and big. My wife had a slice of pizza good but not hot. It was very busy and it met our needs.

Completely Dehumanizing

By ~ASD |

I used to be a regular customer of this establishment because of its convenient location near my residence. One night my friend took me there because I had ran out of food stamps and hadn't eaten in literally three days. The waiter let the people behind us to tables first, and when I tried to speak up the guy called the cops. I tried leaving a review on their FB but everyone told me to have just gotten over it. I'm sorry but this place needs to step it up. It's nothing new that businesses on this block homeless and poor, I've accepted that. But we are real people. Got it? Please understand you can't just toss all of us out on the street because we demand some agency. Sorry if we're "bad for business" You're bad for our community.

Best pizza & beer in Belltown

By AbsolutelyDubrovnik |

Always superb pizza & beer in the heart of Belltown over the years. The place has changed hands a couple of times but the basics are always good. Great sports bar also

Fun Pizza Restaurant

By oldranger81 |

During our visit to Seattle, we stayed in an apartment above this pizza place and had to stop in to see what it was all about. It turned out to be a fun place for dinner - game area at one end of the restaurant make it enjoyable for all ages. Craft beer was very good and the pizzas even better - fun combination of topping ingredients. A bit pricey, but then again most Seattle restaurants are that way. Service was good and the place has a nice vibe to it.

Rude Waiter

By Michael Hartmann |

On October 8, my family (wife, son, sister and brother-in-law) went for dinner. Started out great, but having a carafe of water spilled on the table and the waiter wondering why we wouldn't want to stay at the table of pooled water underneath our fee (the next party were wondering the same thing and didn't sit in the pooled water section). Next I ordered a Diet Coke. The drink I received was translucent and tasted nothing like a Diet Coke. A second waiter (this guy was awesome) commented, "Did you order a tea?" and when I told him no, he took to back to get another. A few minutes later, he brings it back and the same thing, translucent and tasting nothing like a Diet Coke, Pepsi, etc. Then the original waiter comes back and asks how everything was, and I tell him and the response I get it is "Well Diet Coke sucks". Not the response I was looking for, I don't care if I like 3 wolf shirts, I want what I ordered. He then tells me, "We support local, we only have Seattle Cola". Cool, but when I asked for "Diet Coke" don't bring me Diet something else. I don't know the amount of times I've been told that only Diet Pepsi is available and do I want to have that. Saves me and the waiter a hassle of figuring out if they'll have what I want. (Bottom line, I don't want comments on what I'm ordering, unless I ask for suggestions, which I didn't). My sister and her husband ordered the "make your own pizza". Which was pretty decent. However when time came for the bills, they were charged 2 bucks for each of the three toppings, which amounted to 20 bucks for an 8 inch pizza. My sister brought this up during the bill, and when she did the waiter asked, "Where are you going with this? Do you want me to charge you less or what?". My sister said, "No, I wanted to bring this to your attention to the fact that the menu states cheese pizza with 3 toppings, for 4 dollars." (Still listed as that on the menu as of October 13, 2021). My bill still included the original Diet soda, which I had sent back as the bill still listed the soda, that I never drank (other than tasting the drink originally). I requested the removal of the soda, which took approximately another 15 minute to adjust. Bottom line, the food was good. The service of our primary waiter was the worst. We weren't rude, we didn't make a scene when the water was poured over my wife and respectfully asked for (and thanked) our waitstaff during service and subsequent billing. The rudeness and snarkiness of the waiter was uncalled for, and came across as a hipster dufus, the was more impressed by his tastes and expectations than making sure his table got the right pizzas, wings and mac n' cheese for a later evening meal. I recommend that if you receive a bill for more than the listed menu items you send that back, get it adjusted and if you have a sassy waiter, not adjust the tip for the adjusted bill. All in all, a terrible start to our week long stay in Seattle showing my family where I grew up.

Great Pizza

By Amber |

Went here on our girls weekend. Service was great. Food was even better. Conveniently located. Close to water and market.

Good, random find!

By Melody S |

We got into Seattle from Vancouver late Friday night, and were starving, so found this place walking distance from our rented condo. It was a great find, and helped it was open til 2am! Friendly staff, big, yummy slices of pizza, and cold beer/drinks! Also helped we had some random boys we met to entertain us for the night. Fun place!

Veg slice

By M. Hart |

Nice large screens to catch the game. Lots of craft beers at reasonable prices (especially for the city.) $4 slices brick oven Napolitano style, and quite good quality.

Another Great Pizza Place!!!

By Ken |

The pie was great, the cheese bread was fantastic and the service was good. All in all a great experience, we will be back for sure! I love the décor, it's very unique.

Belltown Pizza

By James A |

Amongst a plethora of other restaurants nearby this holds it's own. Great pizza and atmosphere, friendly staff and really good value.

Great food!

By Riley108 |

We ordered the cheese bread, which was amazing! We also ordered a pizza, which was delicious! They don't serve Pepsi or Coke products. The Diet RC cola was ok. We were there during the week and they had a daily special although we didn't order it because it was more than 2 of us needed.

Great happy hour specials

By yogi6947 |

Was next door to our rental and ate there twice. Very good pizza and salad and nice beer selections. Friendly service. Good deals at happy hour.

Basic but good food

By Eaglet64 |

We were renting an apartment in the building above the restaurant so this was a convenient stop when we got back after a day's sight-seeing. The place is quite basic with wooden booths at one end and a bar at the other. There are some tables on the street if you want to eat outside. The service was good, pizza was nice and we would eat here again if we were in the area.

Good Pizza -Horrible Service

By job_tourist |

They have a limited bar selection. The pizza was great but the service was non-existent. One waitress and a guy who was busy drinking and socializing while he helped out (very little). No one checked on us or asked if we wanted another round. We had to find someone to give us our bill and still waited for it to be delivered. Horrible service. Disappointed since pizza was really good but won't go back.

You can find better

By as1023 |

This was recommended to us by a local. Pizza and meatball sandwich weren’t anything special and it was over priced for what it was.

Family Seahawks Weekend

By jennisnowflake |

My husband and 1 year old daughter went to Seattle for the weekend to see a Seahawks game. We were staying in a condo above Belltown Pizza and stopped in after the game. The service was great and they brought out my daughter's slice ASAP as she was starving. Good glass of wine and the Veggie Roast Pizza was to die for, the pesto and squash were a great combo.

Perfect Late Night Pizza Spot

By Beth O |

Belltown Pizza has delicious pizza and salads and cool relaxed vibe. We rolled in around 10:30PM on Saturday evening after having driven up from Portland for the Seahawks game the next day and were pleasantly surprised that it was open late. The atmosphere is very chill, they have some old video games and skeeball if you want to play, they also had tv's up above the bar playing sports channels. I would think it would be a great place to watch a game. We ordered a large pizza and a salad along with a pitcher of beer and some hard cider. The food came relatively quickly and our server was attentive and friendly. It was pretty slow for a weekend night but there was some crazy stormy weather going on so maybe people were just staying in. We enjoyed our food and time thoroughly and will definitely come back next time we are in Belltown.

Strange little semi-biker bar with decent pizza

By metaungulate |

This over-decor'd place is very busy with a strange and eclectic mix of 50-60s memorabilia and motorcycling images and stickers. There is even a motorcycle over the end of the bar although it is an old 125cc or so single cylinder two stroke... the type of bike that no self respecting biker would even glance at. The pizzas are ENORMOUS and although they are a bit on the greasy side, they have ample toppings and the crust is thin and decent. The service is extremely fast and friendly. It's a fun stop in downtown Seattle!

Dinner

By lizzo24 |

Excellent from the moment we walked in. You seat yourself, the waitress immediately took our order and the pizza was delicious! Highly recommend and we just walked by it and tried it.

Good pizza

By SM_Lsne |

We wanted to go for a pizza and someone in the street told us it was her favorite! So we gave it a try and were not disappointed. Good pizza, nice atmosphere.

Good lunch

By jdflanag2016 |

Pretty nice lunch. Didn't eat much as we were just arriving into town. Meatballs and sauce was very good, as was the caprese salad. Would definitely recommend.

Not good! Skip this place for dinner....great place to watch games and drink though.

By SteelCity13 |

We had dinner at this place the night of a storm cause were staying in the condo right above it. We really wish we hadn't. The pizzas was mediocre at best. I really cant say anything good or bad about the food it was edible. The drinks and atmosphere was fun though. Tons of TV to watch the games. Would go back to drink but not for food.

Wish We Skipped this One!

By LKWendel |

There were so many hopping places in Belltown, along 1st Avenue, but we chose this one because it offered pizza and pasta. Well, we were very disappointed. The place ran out of pasta (and it was only 7pm), as well as the soup of the day (chicken noodle), so we substituted the soup for the black bean. It was so spicy, I couldn't eat it. Our waitress seemed nice, but must not have worn her ears that night. My son ordered a Stromboli, and she brought him a Calzone!. My other son ordered a Sprite, and she brought a Coke, We asked for a knife, as it was missing from the table, and after waiting 15 minutes, she announced they ran out of clean knives-huh?? She finally came back and announced that she had to clean the knife herself! The tomato/mozzeralla salad was fresh and tasty, but I was already turned off from the gastronomic experience. With so many other restaurant opportunities in this area, we were sorry we didn't try a better place.

Yum!

Great little local spot with yummy pizza and caprese salad. Very friendly staff and lots of tvs for NCAA basketball! Would definitely recommend!

Walked out

We gave up on the waitress after 15 minutes. We enjoyed the complimentary water but clearly the restaurant was understaffed and we weren't looking for dinner that would maybe get served by 10 pm if we were lucky. Our family of 4 easily walked without anyone attempting to stop us. Walked down the street to Buckley's and enjoyed a prompt delicious meal.

Can’t say worst pizza I ever had, but close

By GWN1960 |

First the good - sports bar vibe and friendly staff, cardboard has more flavor than the dough - pepperoni has little to no flavor - sauce has no flavor. Someone from this establishment should actually try and taste a variety of doughs, cheese blends, sauces and ingredients - as of now eating a pizza box would equally disappoint, but less calories. Burn some more and go anywhere else!

Good Food

By dlsatty |

The menu had a variety of pizzas and sandwiches, all reasonably priced. We had the Seattle hot dog which had cream cheese on the bun which was surprising good. A small pepperoni pizza and the veggie special. Good beer selection. Server was super attentive.

Small but close to shops in Belltown area

By Greatplacesnv |

The pizza was good and the selection of beer was good. Kind of a slow night for the staff. It took a while to get the drinks but the pizza came in on time. Small place on 1st ave but I would recommend this place

Great neighbourhood pizza place!

By Canadian_Cait |

We stumbled across this place walking through Seattle and grabbed a seat on the patio. The service was prompt and friendly and the menu had a good selection of more unique pizza combinations than just the usual suspects (i recommend the Derby!) The pizza was delicious and very filling - none of us could finish one of the smallest pizzas ourselves.

Good food, great hangout

By white_wolf71 |

We were staying in the condo just above this establishment, so it became the default place to get a quick bite. NY style pizza, pretty good, not overly greasy. We ate there 3 times during our 4 day stay. Checking tenders and the salad were also good. The place is a great hangout spot. We happened to wander in on Sunday night and they had free Bingo going on. Winner of each game got a free drink. My 11 year old son ended winning a game and got me a shot of tequila for Father's Day (Yes, he just earned some bonus points for that). Staff was super friendly.

This is the best pizza I have found in Seattle. Thin crispy crust, and lots of good toppings. I even like it the next morning, or frozen.

Build your own calzones!

By TravelGoddess86 |

olive, pepperoni and artichoke calzone was amazing! Comes with a green salad, but the waitress never asked what kind of dressing I wanted..so it came out with nothing. Found that a bit odd.

Really Good Pizza!

By Raquel M |

My family of four was looking for a dinner spot that was within walking distance. We stayed in the Condo complex just above this location so what more could you ask for? The condo rental staff made a point to say "don't go to Belltown Pizza, it's not very good" so of course my husband and I did the complete opposite and went there. It was very good, staff was very nice and most importantly for me, it was family friendly. We're form Arizona and not accustomed to so many restaurants (I guess bars) with signs that said "no minors allowed". The pizza is thin sliced which I like, my husband had a meatball sandwich and he also said it was very good.

This was our meal of choice for 1 night in Seattle and we were not disappointed. Wonderful pizza, good beer on tap and cheap liquor! Very impressed with the food and really pleased with the price.

Great pizza!

Went right up to the bar and had great service. The beer selection was very good. Had two slices of pizza and filled me up. Atmosphere was very nice. Many TV’s showing games. Nice local bar.

Good local spot

By jejri418 |

My friend & I arrived late in Seattle and were looking for quick beer and food. Randomly, we found Belltown Pizza. Based on the restaurant appearance & other patrons, this was a locals spot. Exactly what we wanted. Two seats at the end of the bar. Quick service. Bartender was personable & good. Two thin slices of cheese pizza & hawaiian - both delicious with good charred crust. Reminded both of us of the pizza we get back east. Definitely will go back especially for a late night stop!

5 Stars

By Adam P |

I'm from the UK and was treated here by some business partners, Amazing Pizza! Massive portions! Great beer and good service. Only fault that some foreigners may be disturbed by was the smell of weed. Other than that, 5 stars.

Tasty lunch!

By Vanessa M |

Stopped in to Belltown Pizza for lunch last week, right as they opened at 11:30. I enjoyed a custom Stromboli, and my friend had a veggie single slice. Both were delicious! Our server was great - attentive but not hovering, and the overall atmosphere was pretty cool. The only downside was that my meal seemed a little pricey- 16.50 for a Stromboli with 3 toppings. Not terrible, but not something I would go for regularly.

Worst pizza I've consumed in a while..

By David D |

We ordered the Margherita Pizza - which was horrible. The pizza lacked cheese in a big way, honestly over half of the pizza didn't have a drop of cheese on it, the other half had a sprinkling. The sauce was pink and runny like tomato soup. I do not recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for a good pizza... Service was mediocre, we asked for some dip for our pizza and were treated like we were from Mars.

Great pizza and atmosphere

By jmg912x |

This was a great place for a quick slice or two of pizza. We loved the pizza, pac man, and ski ball!

Pizza was ok, a bit expensive

By Nick P |

Stopped in while walking by late on a Friday night. We were hungry so we gave it a shot. The pizza was ok, nothing special. We had some beers. The place looks more like a bar than a pizza joint. The service was fine. I found the pizza prices to be a bit expensive. $19 for an 8 slice, 12" pie. Seems high to me. This place served its purpose - it was late and we were hungry. I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Good New York style pizza

We asked our taxi driver where to go for good pizza and this was good pizza. The restaurant is a bar and restaurant certainly not fancy but the pizza was delicious.

very friendly place with the best pizza in Seattle. The beer and calzones are equally good. Reasonably priced and a wide variety of food for vegetarians as well

A must-try in Belltown!

By Kat |

Excellent pizza! Such a great variety of different pizzas to try! What is really awesome is that you can order two different kinds of pizza, but on one pizza. They will just do half one way and half another way for you. The crust is a perfect thinner, crispy crust. Prices are reasonable and the staff is very kind. Highly recommend!

Love Belltown Pizza

We ate three times at Belltown Pizza while visiting Seattle. The pizza was delicious, the drinks were cold, the grilled cheese and tomato soup was perfect, the service was friendly and efficient, and the music was loud! Great vibe.

Basic Pizza Joint but Cool Place!

By BMacSeattle |

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Unfortunately due to an oven malfunction I was limited to pizza slices and salads. Was hoping to try a calzone or something similar. But, I made do with a slice and a green salad. Honestly..its wasn't bad at all! I also ordered a cider on tap. The place has a full bar. The female bartender was extremely friendly, cool vibes. Made sure I was taken care of. Definitely a good place to drop by for a quick lunch despite the oven issue. Looking forward to going back and kicking a few more back.

Good local pizza

By Macanudo |

This was downstairs from the condo we stayed in during our visit. I had a slice the first night after a late night arrival. We ordered two pies later in the week for a quiet night in. This is good pizza. They have several specialty pies and you can make your own. Plus, they have a tabletop Galaga archade game. (Not to brag but I did set the high score while I waited on my to-go pies.) This is a great place to drop in for good pizza in Belltown. They are also open late for those with the munchies.

Tasty Food, Nicely Served

By The Whittocks |

My wife and I dined here during our stay in Seattle. We'd come across it by chance because our hotel (The Edgewater) was a short walk away. We ate on a Friday evening, sitting at one of the outside tables. Our waitress was efficient without being over-attentive and the service unhurried. My only complaint is that I wish she'd told us just how big their 'medium' pizzas are. They would have been 'super large' here in the UK. We ordered two, intending to share them, but each was about the size of the front wheel of a penny farthing bike! We boxed one of them and ate the other. But they were delicious.

Large Caesar Salad - means LARGE!!

By 4_Travlin_Fools |

We were staying in the Belltown Court Condo/Apts and wanted to have a night in and recover from site seeing. I had the large salad - it could feed four people! Our daughter had the spag and meatballs, and hubby ordered a pizza. It was all very good and we had enough food for lunch the next day.

Christmas Party

By western u |

Good pizza. This was provided for the Christmas party. They had a bunch of vegetarian pizzas. I prefer lots of meat. The meat one I had was good, but I would have liked a little more meat. I had the Thai one too. I think it might have been all veggies. It was good, good flavors. Salad was good.

Buyer beware

By John S |

My family was staying at a nearby Seattle hotel and came across this place as the nearest pizza place. So we figured we'd give it a shot for an easy dinner. The menu doesn't list soft drinks...only beer and wine. There's a reason for this...it's not Coke or Pepsi! Which contradicts what our server told us when we asked her, that they served Coke products. We all knew as soon as we tasted the drinks that we had been had...and the bill clearly stated this as well. Diet Royal Crown ain't the same. The pizza was poor -- for example, it uses rather generic canned tomato sauce (you can see the large cans stacked clearly from their window -- at least they aren't hiding THIS). The pepperoni on the pepperoni pizza on their website looks far superior in quantity and quality from what was served to us. Also, their website also has a section titled "video games". They literally had ONE video game (two other video game tables were turned off --apparently broken). Ever had the feeling you've been cheated?

Spot on

By kehirlo |

Popped into belltown pizza as it was across from our hotel and it always seemed busy. We ordered salad and we're about to order a pizza each but the waiter said one wud be enough as they are big 12 inch pizza.he was dead right. It was a perfectly stone baked Base pizza with excellent frwh toppingo and loads of cheese yum.washed down with a bottle of beer..perfect! The price from pizza salad and 2 beers was very reasonable and I wud return for sure.the staff are also very friendly and accommodating.

Average Food but Good Prices

By Chris1A1B1C |

The food was average (and chicken alfredo a little sad), but it was one of the cheapest places in the neighborhood. Nice relaxed place to sit and have a few drinks with some decent food. Service was a little slow, but all the restaurants in town seemed to have staffing issues.

Great Happy hour!

By GetBent58 |

Stop in for a cheap slice and craft beer! Also the best chop salad around. Service is normally fast and friendly, I have only ate pizza and salad there, but the other food looks good. Fun pinball games too!

Thin Crust pizza Yumm

By spitfirem2015 |

Thin Crust pizza Yumm, was two adults and a 2.5 year old granddaughter we ordered a medium pizza, had none left over. If you like leftover pizza get the large, we probably would have eaten more. Also had the PNW salad, wonderful salad, although not very large.

Good eastcoast pizza find

By Michael R |

We ate there last night, and we really love the pizza. The place is like a little neighborhood gem, with good pizza, cold beer and friendly people. It tends to get a little loud, so not a great place for a romantic meal. The price is good also, and the staff remembers us when we go back, which is really nice and welcoming. The booths are a little stiff for me so we usually sit at a table, and they always have a game on the flat screens.

Good Choice for a Slice and a Beer

By WilsyPV |

We are staying in a VRBO between 1st and 2nd Street and Belltown Pizza is on the bottom floor of the block of apartments so it seemed a natural stop for some late night nourishment. Not at all crowded on a Monday evening and we were quickly seated. A number of large screen TVs were carrying games, but the volume level didn't hinder conversation which can be an issue in many sports bar settings. The menu has a varied offering, pizza obviously but also calzones and stromboli as well as hot sandwiches and pasta dishes. They were featuring a local stout which was tasty and my wife opted for a glass of Washington State red. We had a Margherita pie, a meat calzone and the house side salad. Our orders came in a reasonable time and the crust was excellent. We will return during our stay in Seattle and take advantage of the happy hour offerings.

Good toppings; unexciting crust

By Luv2TravelFarNWide |

This wood-fired pizza joint offers a wide variety of interesting pizza toppings. We tried the thin crust Duncan (spicy Italian sausage, red onion slivers, baby spinach leaves and blue cheese) and it was quite good. However, we were disappointed with the crust -- mostly a flour-y taste, not up to the usual flavorful Italian crust. Also rather pricey, but so is everything in Seattle. Overall it satisfied our craving for pizza. Can't say much about service because we did take out. But at a typically busy time (7 pm) they had our pizza ready within 15 minutes of calling in our order.

Nice Pizza p;ace in the Belltown neighborhhod of Seattle

By paul_czerny |

My wife and I were staying at a nearby apartment had dinner at the Belltown Pizza the day that we arrived. The selection of toppings is very extensive. The pizza was great and very reasonably priced. They have a good beer selection but only have a house wine. A good place for dinner.

Tasty Pie

By Ectoplasm Fantasia |

Popped in on a whim as was hungry and easy to get to. Sat outside. Service was excellent. Ashley/Ashleigh our server was great. Thanks. Great choice of pies and toppings. I had a calzone with mozzarella/ricotta and prosciutto. Delicious, fresh and bursting with meat - too much to eat in fact! My husband had the BBQ sandwich which was also tasty. Good drink selection and very easygoing. Got advice on places to visit too! Nice vibe.

Poor service; not impressed

By Rheanna S |

My friends and I did not have a great experience here. It took quite a while for a waiter to come over to our table and take our food order (someone else had brought out water earlier). The waiter that finally came over was not very nice or friendly. We had a question about toppings on the pizza and when we asked him, he simply said ‘Well it's right on the menu, if you would just read it....’ We had read the menu before asking him and the explanation on the menu wasn't clear so that's why we were asking him. We had expected better customer service and we were not impressed. The pizza wasn't great and I don't think it was worth what we spent. The crust had no taste and it was like eating cardboard. Eating here was pretty much a waste of time and money and I would rather have stayed home and made something there or gone to Zeeks Pizza. This may have been an off night for them, but either way I will probably not return to Belltown Pizza to give it another try.

Friendly place, fresh toppings

By activechica |

If you like thin crust pizza and appreciate fresh ingredients on your pizza, Belltown Pizza is your kind of place. We tried the Four Seasons and a simple pepperoni and loved them both. We got our pizza to go, yet would definitely return for one of the daily specials and love the ambiance ~ booths, outdoor, or bar. Service was friendly and timely.

Good spot to drop in for a bite

This was a ‘go to’ during our week in Seattle as it is on the first floor of our rented condo. The smell of pizza and Italian spices is alluring. We loved their pizza. The kids the Mac and cheese and pinball.

'80's night is hilarious

By PeeJay1 |

My hubby and I stayed at the Inn at El Gaucho which is basically right across the street from this great pizza restaurant. My husband runs a pizza franchise in our hometown, so we always like to check out the competition when we travel. It is more of a bar/restaurant, which is an atmosphere we enjoy. We walked in on a Saturday night after watching a band play in Belltown. It happened to be '80's night. They were playing all the classic 80's songs, and the bartender was dressed like, well lets just say that we called him "CC Deville". We're in our 30's, and the music was really fun and everyone else in the restaurant was singing along to all the songs too. We had a great time, but actually their pizza was spectacular too. I got the pizza with feta and tomatos or something like that. Their crust is perfect and the toppings are fresh, and do not taste frozen like most places. We liked it so much we came back the next night too.

Sunday Surprise.

By IOM-Trev |

I only popped in here for a couple of drinks on a Sunday evening, ended up staying to last call. The original idea had been a bit of bar hopping but being able to get seats at the bar made moving on less desirable. The barman was friendly, ska music was playing on the sound system. There was even Sunday evening bingo. The smell of pizza cooking was too tempting so I ordered a slice, pepperoni and jelopeno peppers. It was a pleasant way to spend a evening.

Excellent pizza. Check out their Monday-Wednesday specials.

By CaptainBill1 |

Stopped in for pizza after hearing about this place from the condo manager where we were staying. She mentioned they had the best pizza in town and she was absolutely right. If you are there on Monday thru Wednesday they have 2 super specials. A large two topping pizza (enough for 4) and 4 beers for $20 or the same pizza and a bottle of wine (which was very good) for $25. The service was excellent and our server Kati was outstanding. Great place to enjoy good food and watch some sports.

A very solid average place. I rarely sit down to eat here, but if you live in Belltown, it's the start of a classic date. A delicious pizza pie, a bunch of films, and the best of intentions when you get back to your place...you really did mean to watch those movies, what happened? :)

Outdoor Seating!

By BellsGma |

This quaint pub has outdoor seating, a big plus in my book. The pizza is good and they sell by the slice as well. The ceasar salad was fresh and delicious. The service was very good and the decor entertaining.

Outstanding local pizza joint

We were recommended this spot by a local, and I am so glad that I asked! We popped in around 6 pm on a Monday, and it wasn't busy. Food was delivered quickly, and it was fantastic! Great service, great selection of drinks, and a really fun atmosphere!

Just okay

By CONatureGirl |

First I'll say we didn't try the pizza, so maybe it's better than the other food? We had a small amount of food in our rental and needed something small to supplement for dinner, got a spaghetti with garlic bread and a Caesar salad. The salad was excellent!!! Spaghetti just so-so, not the best sauce and the bread was the worst garlic bread...but the staff were helpful and got our takeout order done quickly. Would be ok in a pinch but probably better places to go...looked like a fun place to drink beer and watch sports.

Perfect Pizza

Popped in in the evening - great service and nice welcome. Nice sports stuff on the TV's and lots of offers if threes a match on. Pizza was sooo good - nice open kitchen so you can see what's going on. Overall - excellent

great pizza, even for a takeout order. large is huge! we ordered a traditional pepperoni and sausage and were happy with the price.... it was tuesday and they have a great sit-down $20 special..... but our two teens can't drink beer, so it didn't really apply to us!

Pretty good pizza

By Libby B |

The pizza and calzones were not the best we've ever had, but definitely tasty and well above average. The pizza is covered with fresh ingredients and the crust is not too greasy. I really enjoyed the one with mushrooms, tomatoes, goat cheese, and fresh basil. Service was slow but the single waitress seemed pretty overwhelmed, and when a second joined her it got better.

Watery pizza

By OregonRainman |

Unbeknownst to us, It was happy hour and should have ordered their pizza by the slice. Instead we ordered a "freshly cooked" Marguerite pie and it was extremely runny. What a mistake! The server, while not rude was not very attentive and should have pointed out the specials, which would have generated more sales for her employer while giving us more choices. Now that we know what not to order, we will probably be back on our next trip to seattle

What a Special Place!

By FiFiFranklin |

We visited Seattle recently and rented a condo through Airbnb. Belltown Pizza came highly recommended from our landlords, and boy oh boy were they right! It is a cute place with a fun, casual vibe. They also have a wonderful Happy Hour. We enjoyed Belltown Pizza so much that we went there four times!!!! We even took a pizza out to camp where our daughters were doing a 60 mile Susan Komen Walk for breast cancer. The pizza is truly one of the best we have ever eaten, and as a huge bonus the staff is just incredibly friendly. I wish I could remember all the employees names, but Kish was one of our waitresses and Jo was the bartender. They were just amazing! I can't recommend this place enough.

used to be better

By travel_princess82 |

we visit seattle at least twice a year, and once we discovered belltown's pizza we couldn't stop thinking about it. we loved the pizza from first bite. beer is good too... and the ambiance is lively for dinner or late nite. BUT the last time we went there in december, they had changed their menu, and our favourite pizza was gone. we could still choose our toppings, but we couldn't remember exactly what it had on it. we were with another couple and we ordered 2 pizzas, and the spicy pizza was just normal pizza covered in drippy hot sauce. ruined the flavour. we were very disappointed, and i'm not sure if we will go back there now.......
