Great spot for some fish tacos and a beer. Good value for combo plates and great rotisserie chicken. The outdoor seating is nice too.

LA Tacos I told my phone to give me the best tacos in West Hollywood. Did not disappoint. Carnitas On point Carne asada same just overall awesome.

Surprisingly nice small restaurant that was recently updated. Definitely more than average seating for a place like this. Food and service were awesome. The Macho Wet burrito was a great choice. Highly recomended

This is a nice little restaurant with reasonable prices and really good food...And the staff is so friendly and inviting.

I have never sat down at Benny's only used it for Take Out, Good Service, Food and Prices. All of their food is good and the selections are also good. It is small with Ok parking. It is definitely not glamorous.

yummy hand made corn tortillas, I had chicken tacos and mahi grilled fish tacos, well for the next visit it would for sure be fish tacos, very tasty

Cool little spot with awesome French fries. I ordered the shrimp burrito which was really fresh and plentiful. They put a lot of shrimp inside ddedo every bite yielded shrimp

Service was fine and friendly but the food was very bland. I ordered a California burrito as I had looked up places specifically known for them in the area. Sadly I got a very oily/greasy affair with a dry, crumbling tortilla that was too thick to begin with. The fillings felt like mush. Each thing easily identifiable by sight but on taste no discerning flavors could be detected. No tanginess or citrus from the guacamole or sour cream. No crunchiness from the fries, no flavor or savory component from the carnitas. Just a collection of unseasoned unsalted ingredients masquerading as a burrito but not delivering on that grand endeavor or any lesser ones.

I stumbled on this little place while exploring the area. It was small, but the food was very good. I ate there and got take out a couple of times. In August, I walked in, and everything was completed different. I sat down, and the menu was different. When I got my food it was completely different. I drove by a week or so ago, and it was closed, so I am not sure what happened.

I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. This is THE BEST mexican food in Los Angeles!... especially the carne asada tacos. I've never tasted better. Also, the restaurant is nice, prices are reasonable, service is quick & staff is very nice and professional. Benny's deserves an award. I've told everyone I know about this place.

We ordered out of course- so this had to come in to go cartons and sit around- but it was still good! i was surprised at all the good stuff in the salad and how fresh it was. The chicken was good, not stringy, not over cooked. One of the better places we have ordered from while we are working

Benny's is a little restaurant with indoor and patio seating. The place can get very crowded and parking is limited. It is near the LMU campus. The nachos, guacamole, fish tacos, and chicken tacos were excellent. I would give them five stars, but seating was cramped and the restaurant was very warm. I would definitely eat here again. Service was fast and pleasant.

Benny's lies somewhere between Santa Monica and Los Angeles International Airport. Doesn't stand out. It seems to be a local eatery well know to residents of Venice and Santa Monica. The place is extraordinarily clean. The menu runs from Mexican to Mediterannean. The portions are more then ample and are well prepared. i particularly love the fish tacos. Bennies could get an awarrd for best in breed except it is hard to classify the type of restaurant Bennies is. I wouldn't call it fast food. Neither would I call it a restaurant. I would call it a great place to eat. A cold beer and a platter of a Benny's Mexican offering is heaven.

3 times I went here and each time they messed up my order including giving me the wrong item. Expensive for what it is. For the prices they charge I prefer to go to a restaurant where you order tableside from a waiter.

A hole in the wall Place ... great find. Reasonable prices, great quantity. Just wish it didn't take so long! Tons of vegetarian options - food and ingredients were fresh. My little ones loved the black beans and we were happy with our enchiladas and nachos. Would definitely return here!

Man so I'm a big fan of chicken and waffles, but this is like the new and improved combo. The tacos are really good, and they are made with house made tortillas so they taste fresh and authentic. Now here's the twist, instead of fried chicken, they offer rotisserie style that is so moist and flavorful. The staff here is friendly and efficient and they earned my return business.

Giant Burritos with French fries inside...What a treat! The Rotisserie Chicken & Grilled Steak burritos were Giant...Filled with meat, cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo and French fries. A Delicious combo wrap. 4 fresh extra salsas included for added delight. Take out, delivery and catering, not a full restaurant.

Benny’s is not fancy but the carne asada taco was very good. Reasonable, fast service. Nice location opposite the park.

In the category fast food, this is definitely a good place. Recommended by friends, I went there for their chicken soup and carne asada. Quick, tasty, good ingredients and nicely priced.

We were in LA for three days and my son suggested a quick Friday lunch at Benny's Tacos upon arrival. WOW! I had the vegetarian taco and it was outstanding. The veggies were cooked and seasoned to perfection and the greens were crisp. It was served on a tortilla with a side of chips. There was a white chipotle sauce that was amazing. Lunch was so good I made my son bring me back for dinner the night before we left. For dinner I wasn't sure what to get so I spoke with Christian (the manager) and said what I felt like having. He suggested a chicken bowl. The serving was huge (enough leftover for my son to have lunch the next day) lots of chicken, lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, black beans and cheese. The staff at Benny's is very friendly, the atmosphere relaxed. Both times we ate on the enclosed patio (and were able to keep up with the Master's action) on the big screen TV. This place is by far my favorite on my recent visit to Los Angeles. I can't wait to make a return visit and go to Benny's. All the menu items can easily be made "to go". I felt the prices were reasonable and the food excellent. Christian is very friendly and accommodating and really runs a great shop. You won't be disappointed if you visit Benny's. They even serve breakfast!

I had two carnitas tacos with black beans and rice. The price was reasonable, and the food was delicious. The service was great!! I would go back to this place regularly if I lived here.

Visiting family in LA and ordered take out on our way to a play. We always stop at Benny's when visiting LA. The food is good and the portions are large. On Saturday late afternoon when we placed our order it was ready for pick up right when we were told it would be so we weren't delayed for the play. They have some delicious chipotle sauce to dip with their chips but I couldn't remember what it was called. We did our best to describe it when placing the order. When I went to pick it up the staff wanted to talk to me first to make sure they included the right sauce with our chips, tacos and tostada bowl. They were willing to let me sample sample different sauces which wasn't necessary. They wanted to make sure I got what I wanted after traveling 2000 miles! After speaking with them I decided it was the orange chipotle sauce. Wow, it was so good with their chips. I really appreciated the crew and their efforts to get me the right sauce. Next time I come I will know what to order. Thank you to Benny's staff on Saturday PM August 9--you guys rock!

Visited this restaurant after arriving at LAX and it was a great decision. The restaurant is very small, but offers outdoor seating. The burrito I had was fantastic and unique. This restaurant definitely has its own local style for food.

We are so glad this spot is in our neighborhood! What used to be a good but quiet place is now hopping most of the time. Not your typical LA taco joint, my wife and I have definitely been stopping in more often than before. Food is good, not fantastic but that’s fine with us as we are rarely disappointed. Love: Any taco, burrito and Chicken soup. Plus, the place is really reasonably priced for the quality and quantity. Final note is the chicken soup is excellent. Thanks!

Delicious food, nice atmosphere, kind personal and a lot of food for small money. We would defiantly come back!

I had been driving by for years. I had time so I stopped. The place was packed...to me, that didn't mean it was going to be good to me. I like fried hard shells, not preformed store bought. When they brought my good to the table, I was worried. I was pleasantly surprised. The carne asada was the tenderest I have EVER eaten. It came with guacamole that I didn't have to pay extra for. So yes, it's a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for me.

My wife and I looked at a competing review site for great Mexican places to eat in Venice, well we saw the reviews and gave this place a shot. The reviews on this other site were false and we were let down with the quality of food. The chicken isn't so fresh and the service doesn't cater to everyone. You don't speak Spanish, you get looked at rudely, and last time I went you had to pay for refills! The salsa isn't fresh, and the price is a bit high for what it is. Just do your true research and try it for yourself.

Just plain good!! All is good. Sevice good as well. Breakfast menu is excellent. The chicken soup is like real soup mom makes...and it is not salty like many soups from grocery stores and other fast food places. Recommended this place.

The restaurant was very clean and had both indoor and outdoor spaces for dining. The ambiance was very straightforward with a majority of local customers. The clientele was composed of dressy casual business people as well as common workers such as senior citizens, law enforcement personnel and delivery drivers. These people were driving Teslas, Mercedes as well as Hyundai's and company vehicles. Others just walked over from the surrounding community. A few tourists like us benefited greatly from the level of accountability Benny's rises to in serving the locals. The best of all was the awesome food (seafood, mexican food, California cuisine, and more!). Salsa bar was phenomenal and prices were fair! If you ever visit Benny's you too will be a permanent customer!

Went for dinner on a Tuesday evening around 5 pm. Parking was limited because several LA Sheriffs were eating and their cars were in the parking lot. Since it was Taco Tuesday, I ordered the 3 taco special (carnitas, shredded beef, and carne asada). There was an extra charge for the shredded beef and carne asada, which was fine, but I think the lady who took my order should have informed me that there was an additional charge for those items. The tacos were very good and had slot of meat. My husband had the 2 taco plate that included beans and rice. He said everything was good but wasn't hot enough. We will go back to try the chicken next time.

We purchased dinner here through Grub Hub. The food was excellent at a reasonable cost. After a long flight from Barcelona, taking an Uber to this location wasn’t appealing so we ordered, with the recommendation from our hotel. We weren’t disappointed. Next time we’re in the LAX area, I won’t hesitate to order from Benny’s again. The California burrito was humongous and delicious. It was big enough to easily feed both my wife and me. And, we didn’t have to leave our hotel, which was 2 miles away.

What took me so long to try this place?! Not only is it close to my work but it's within walking distance so I don't have to deal with moving my car! Well finally, a groupon brought me in. I had the Southwest salad and splurged on the shrimp. It was tasty grilled shrimp over salad with all sorts of delicious embellishments. This is silly but you know what I lived the best? The sliced spicy carrots. For some reason there aren't that many restaurants in LA where I find them. You can order to eat inside, in their nice patio or to go. I immediately went back the same week (not with the groupon) and split a carnitas burrito (we had to try their home-made tortillas) and we split the same salad. She, though originally hadn't lived that place, was converted by their burrito. She didn't live the salad as much as I did but that's fine, more for me! Because I accidentally kept this review as a draft and didn’t publish I can tell you I have also tried their chicken and their fajitas! Everything as great as the last! We also find that it is very popular when we order for events at my work. #MexicanFood #RoastedChicken #MakesMeWander

I was hungry for Mexican food at work, so while searching for something different than my local one's Benny's popped up and I remember seeing a line outside when I had passed Benny's tacos several times; so I decided to give it a try. Excellent choice , i have ordered from them several times now using grubhub and doordash and in person once; the food has never disappointed me. The portions are big also just yesterday, I ordered the chicken enchiladas lots of flavorful chicken and I had enough for two meals. This is now my go to Mexican cuisine . If you dine-in there is a patio and the staff is awesome.

I had the grilled fish taco and the shrimp taco. Each one comes with a few chips. Great value for $8. The fish taco had a good amount of fish and a ton of toppings cabbage and tomatoes. Too big to bite. Lots of flavor. I had to eat some filling first before I could bite it. The shrimp taco had pineapple. Just enough to give a tiny sweetness. Both cooked perfectly.

This is a great little restaurant to get Mexican food in West Chester. It's very casual with a good price for good food and good portions. We really enjoyed the cheese enchiladas and rotisserie chicken quesadilla. The staff was very friendly and attentive, like Bianca. Plus the patio ambiance for seating was very pleasant. With the warm amber lights and heating lamps, I would happily come back frequently for dinner.

OMG ... Benny's demonstrates how terrible Chipotle is. We were sending our daughter off to college at Loyola Marymount and stopped into Benny's for lunch. Amazing food. Cute patio for eating. Order at the counter and they deliver to the table. The rotisserie chick is good ... maybe lacking some flavourful compared to Peruvian style. The Burritos are very big, maybe big enough for two but once you start eating one, it's hard to stop.

If you're visiting Venice and you're looking for some good, SoCal Mexican, this is the spot. The tacos are great (all of them). The macho wet burrito is delicious (and DEFINITELY macho - that thing is huge). Don't forget to order a Churro - they're filled with some kind of cream and it was the best churro I have ever had!

Visited last week for lunch one day and dinner the next with the family, including 3 and 1 year old grandsons. The one year old couldn't get enough of the grilled veggies and chicken. The 3 year old who only eats peanut butter sandwiches was actually eating the chips and salsa. His mother almost fainted seeing chopped tomatoes going into his mouth! The variety of foods offered are plentiful and the servings are large. I have visited Bennys before but this time tried the Veggie Quesadilla for lunch. Large portion loaded with veggies and a great overall flavor. For dinner I tried a bowl, brown rice, tons of veggies and rotisserie chicken. Outstanding. I really suggest you order a side of chips and some chipotle sauce, DELICIOUS. We sat on the screened porch, relaxed and watched some soccer on the big screen while we visited and enjoyed the meal Easy going staff who are more than ready to assist or answer questions. Christian the manager keeps things running smoothly. Can't wait to return.

we just happen upon Benny's, the meals are huge and very tasty, loads to choose from, and the special tgis month ( Sept)is all breakfast items $4.95,, nice cold , we sat outside therefore there is loads happening and noise but thats why you choose to sit outside

i love the tacos and burrito bowl here. their hot sauce is the bomb the only downside is the service. I am not very impressed by one on the guy at the counter he likes to look down on people he has weird green eyes and comb his hair with super shiny wax ew.

I'm a fan of this place. The only criticism I have is that it's a little on the pricey side for what you get. The food is fresh tasting and delicious. Lincoln Blvd. can be a real challenge depending on the time of day so plan accordingly.

Used a Groupon for the Santa Monica location. Manager clearly annoyed by use of Groupon. Paid $6 for $10 of food. Manager said I had to buy "more than $10 of food." Incorrect, but what can you do? Rotisserie chicken good but salty. Food will end up costing more than, say, Baja Fresh for similar items.

Excellent little spot! Great friendly service with a smile. Fast and affordable and kept very clean. Food is homemade and very tasty. Salsa is delicious and made in house. We would definitely come back!

Was looking for a place to take our nephew for a quick bite to eat. He recommended Benny's Tacos and Chicken Rotisserie. The place is rather small and there is limited parking. We were fortunate to find a spot in their parking lot. We found a table in their patio area to dine at after placing our order at the counter. Service was good. Prices are affordable. Food was ready in a reasonable amount of time. Most importantly, our food was delicious. With one exception, I was not thrilled with the churros for dessert. It tasted stale. Other than that, it was a good visit.

Delicious! You MUST try the California Burrito! You will thank the day you read this review! AND they have GREAT chips!!! Oh, and they have breakfast too!!

Truth is this Bostonian would have driven by the kitschy "goggle eye" street sign were it not for a strong recommendation from a local. The rotisserie chicken and the fish tacos were sensational. I travel to LA 3-4 times a year, and I now know where to get my 'south of the border' fix on future trips. The manager Christian was very helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The place is tiny but they have plenty of patio seating so we didn't feel rushed to eat and leave. And the prices are VERY reasonable!

Wide variety of delicious and nutritious meal, popular to students, family and friends of LMU. Limited parking in the restaurant, ok to park in the neighborhood street. Fast and friendly service.

We went to Benny's for lunch. The menu affords great variety including chicken dishes and traditional Mexican fast food. The food is tasty and ample and the prices are very reasonable. They serve breakfast all day which may be in my future!
Delicious Food
Small place with a delicious Mexican food. The cashier wasn't friendly or patient, but the food and other crew members made the visit worthed. My family had a pleasent experience and we recommend Benny's to anybody. This location is close to Loyola Maurymont University and is packed with students, neighbors and loyal costumers. The place is small, not fancy, but you can have any meal filled with great food from Mexico.
