Enjoyed a wonderful Mothers Day dinner with the family. We live nearby and tried this great restaurant on a friend's recommendation. Kids (teens) enjoyed the steak and Fries- had a few bites and it was outstanding. We enjoyed a $20 bottle of red from a special list- available Sunday thru Thursday (I think) and it was perfect. Chicken was excellent and the hubby had the lamb and it was super, as well. Our server was lovely and sweet. We will be going back soon!

Betty is a good restaurant. It just is not as good as Crow. I am sure it will eventually catch up to its sibling but it has not yet. I should probably say that Crow is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle and I love what they do. Betty just seems to be missing a little something and I do not know exactly what it is because you can see a lot of similarities across the board. Either way, Betty is definitely worth a try. It has one of the better burgers in town and obviously a delicious chicken that is very similar to the one offered at crow. Also, don't miss out on the ice cream cookie sandwich!

Food was quite good and the servers more pleasant than Crow.

Took my parents here for dinner after a night at the Ballet. The food was all really good, and the service was great. The roasted chicken was fantastic and the house-made chocolates were awesome too! Would definitely eat here again. Important side note...Betty has a nice, quiet atmosphere, so we were actually able to have a conversation over dinner!

Betty, like its sister restaurant Crow, specializes in quality yet comfortable fare. We had the steak frites which was big enough for two to share. The steak was nicely spicy, and the frites were good, if not quite up to the legendary frites once served at the now sadly departed Cassis restaurant. The menu isn't large, but there's a nice variety. The servers were very good. It was a fine place to take our young son (though they don't have a kid's menu) since the atmosphere is relaxed and laid back.

Went here before the Pearl Jam show. Very cool place. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Great service. Charcuterie board was a great start. The lasagna rivals what I had in Italy. We will go back!!

I've been to this restaurant a couple of times over the past year. The restaurant has a casual and funky vibe, very relaxed. Service is okay, not particularly attentive. My colleagues and I typically share a number of salads (very good in the summer), a bottle of wine, and split a dessert (the desserts are quite decadent here). The salads use produce that is in season, and are consistently good. The desserts also are based on fruit that is in season (the blueberry pie was very good). That said, the menu is not particularly innovative--it's good comfort food, which is just fine! .

6 PM reservation, taking my wife's 101 y/o uncle to dinner, it was a dark and rainy night, and we were DELIGHTED with our dining experience in every way. Booth near the front, great bottle of Sancere, Started out quiet, as restaurant filled up (this is a popular local bistro) it got a bit louder, but never hindered conversation, great ambiance! The soup was a wonderful winter squash/ wild rice with mulling spices, so it smelled like fall, scrumptious! We shared a salad, butter lettuce, avocado mousse, citrus segmants, pine nuts, & lemon verbena oil, out of this world. Entrees were Halibut done to perfection, the House Potato Gnocci, delicata squash, foraged mushrooms, sage, browned butter, toasted hazelnuts, parmesan, and the house pork & chestnut sausage, creamy polenta, braised kale, crispy shallots. I already made a reservation for next week. Hard to pick the winner in the grouping, large portions to boot! Our server was Natalie, sweet as pie, Felt like a great restaurant in France we visited recently where you felt that you "owned the real estate" while you were there, no one trying to turn our table even in a busy restaurant. I reflected my feelings about this in my generous tip. Don't miss this Seattle, neighborhood GEM.

We like to sit at the bar here and watch the food prep. The chefs are friendly & after a few minutes of watching I often change my mind about what to have! My husband loves the Betty burger. The French fries are amazing. Tonight I had the house made tagliatelle with summer veggies & it was excellent. Desserts of blueberry pie with tarragon ice cream (amazing!) and a 'smores baked Alaska were decadent and perfect. This has become our "go to" place in our Seattle neighborhood.

My favorite neighborhood restaurant! Food consistently good and staff friendly. Very comfortable and "cozy".

Food was good, not great. Service not so great. For the money I recommend going elsewhere, like Dinette.

Came in with a couple of friends on a Saturday night without a reservation and we were able to snag a seat in the bar where we were served from the main menu. The nettle risotto and field green salad were fantastic. Since I live in the neighborhood, I've eaten here several times and have never had a disappointing meal. Will be back.

Went for dinner. Made a reservation on Open Table. Table was ready on arrival. The place had a nice atmosphere and if you were lucky you get parked outside. The staff had parked and filled up the guest parking lot! Food: We ordered the meat plate and cheese plate to share. Whilst the meat plate was nice and tasty the cheese plate was very lack lustre. 2 cheeses, one hard, one soft. Small slices and portions and 3 crackers from a box - not worth the money We ordered the chicken, took 25 minutes. Was very small, very dry and covered in crusted salt. Ordered the MP fish of the day. Salmon was cooked perfectly and covered in crusted salt. Had the rib eye steak/frites - yes covered in crusted salt. Burger and chips, yes covered in crusted salt. Is this to make you drink more, eat less I am not sure. maybe they think is it trendy to use Himalayan sea salt or something - its not the seaside and the food is inedible with too much salt. We mentioned this to the wait staff and she just went, oh, ok. Nothing......................we did not order dessert....won't return until we see less salt on the food, it was realllyyyyyyyy salty,.....

One of the best Happy Hour's in Seattle. Very friendly staff (they are genuinely friendly and are glad you've come to their restaurant), tasty and varied HH menu selections, generous wine pours. Get there early as it's popular and the bar and lounge fill up quickly. Very reasonable prices.

Great neighborhood and the best Gazpacho! Open windows, friendly staff... really enjoyed this restaurant

We were running errands errands all day, and got home too late to cook, so we walked to Betty, not really knowing what to expect. My wife has many allergies, and the staff was very accommodating. She had the house-ground burger substituting greens for the bun and cheese. She expected salad greens, but the kitchen sauteed up some kale and garlic, and gave her a small green salad instead of the fries, because of her peanut allerge. I had the best cassoulet I have had in the States, with a large lamb sausage, porl chunks and duck on the bone, topped with seasoned bread crumbs.

Betty is a pleasant, bustling restaurant. We went early and there was plenty of room, but it was pretty full by the time we left. The crowd seems mostly local -- people coming from work or home to meet friends or family. The staff was very pleasant and helpful -- and patient with children too. The decor is pretty simple but there are distinct areas in the restaurant and although there was plenty of background noise it never became obtrusive. The food was definitely good. We had a nice charcuterie plate -- three types of meet, with almonds and two or three kinds of olives., nothing exciting but all good. Salad was nice, as was the chicken, trout, and boar ragu. Meyer lemon tart for desert. For a neighborhood restaurant, the food was wonderful (perhaps high level comfort food is the best description), and the price was not too bad, all in all. Good choice of wines as well. I'm from out of town, so I don't think I'll be rushing back, but if I lived in Seattle this would be on my list for relaxed, friendly, and satisfying dining.

My husband and I tried Betty for the first time during Seattle Restaurant Week. We enjoyed everything we ate, and the service was friendly and efficient. Note to Betty: Please sell your Tomato Jam by the jar!!!

Wasn't as good as Crow.

Not worth the fuss.

Food is excellent, cocktails are pricey. Service was slow, I waited 10 min to get a spoons the waitress forgot to give me for my Italian Wedding Soup. The broth for the clam appetizer was amazing.

When we first moved to Queen Anne a neighborhood in Seattle we quickly set out to find a new place to eat. We found it at Betty's. Love this place warm and cozy in the cooler months and super nice in the warmer months as they open the front windows. The menu has a huge selection of any fare you would want. They can also have a simple dish prepared for you alone. My husband and love to sit at the bar and watch our food being prepared something I would not do any place else. The chef is great there as he takes the time to talk and explain what he is doing to prepare these meals. Great for friends and couples kids ok if they are well behaved. One of my favorite places is Betty's..

Goooood Steak Frites!

The whole roasted chicken is one of the best I've ever had. Every time my parents come to town to visit, we have to make a stop here and get the chicken. Service could have been more prompt, but other than that, we love it.

Overall not a terrible experience. Service and staff are very good. They make good drinks (Betty Draper is a good choice). That's the good news. But we've tried this place twice now and found the food to be only average at best and not a good value for the price. Green salad was wilted and not pleasant. Our steaks were very tough and full of fat and gristle (borderline gross). Cheese platter was poorly presented, fried green tomatoes were lousy. Really want to like this place but after a 2nd chance we won't be back. Far better choices on the QA hill.

Yuk. Had the cassoulet. It was not good - at all. Horrible, in fact. My friend's meal was better but not great. The atmosphere is good. Drinks are great. It's just that the food is bad.

First visit to Betty Restaurant and Bar, but not our last. We frequently went to Crow (sister cafe) on our trips to Seattle until it closed. We had never tried the sister cafe until now. We were delighted to find Crow's Lasagna and Oven roasted Chicken (slightly different). The lasagna was excellent and exactly as I remember it! My spouse had the jumbo prawns & wild boar sausage. And the bar makes perfect martinis and provides a decent wine list.

On my recent visit to Seattle I met a foodie friend at Betty. It is a nice little neighborhood place where the staff seemed to know almost everyone. All the employees that I came into contact with were professional and friendly. Our food came out quickly and was delicious. I highly recommend the Brussel Sprouts! Yes Brussel Sprouts.

My husband and I had a great dinner experience at Betty with a group of friends. The chicken was fantastic and everyone enjoyed their meal. The restaurant is really pretty and has a great vibe, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The cocktail and wine selection is great too. I would definitely recommend as a couples dinner or dinner with friends.

I live in the area and never choose to go here and eat, but some how have ended up here on several occasions with friends wanting to go here. The food is very average at best the menu is kinda blah. They do have a nice wine selection but that's about where the appeal ends for me. Every time I have had a meal here whatever I ordered was lacking in seasoning and tastes bland. Not sure why so many people like it but I assume that it's based on price point and that there are not a lot of restaurants to choose from in Queen Anne. There are to many great places to eat in Seattle to have just an average meal here.

I have been going to this spot for a few months after driving through Upper Queen Anne. The menu might be limited to a few [somewhat-pricey] items changing every 2 to 3 months with a few signature staples, but the quality is quite striking. (The pan-seared, striped bass was very good, but the oven roasted chicken and steak entrees are impressive from previous visits. A few staples like the lasagna and burger have been popular.) Dessert can be limited, but is noteworthy. The staff was welcoming with the mood music mixing alternative pop and contemporary R&B. If you can find parking, then this spot is something to note.

This place has great food and great service. Been eating here since before I lived in Queen Anne. It's worth the uber ride if you're visiting the city and staying downtown. Known for their roast chicken, but the rest of the menu is good. My favorite rib eye. Sister restaurant is Crow in lower Queen Anne. There is a lounge area, and a back patio if it's sunny out. They have a good happy hour menu if you're around early. I think it's 4:30-5:30.

A colleague and I chose to eat at Betty during a conference in Seattle. The menu is a bit bland (i.e. roast chicken, ribeye steak, and burgers), although the food was good. (The fries were probably the most memorable part of the meal - really crisp and tasty.) Nice wine menu - lots of local choices. The atmosphere is a bit noisy for table conversation, but not horrible.

Betty is a fairly trendy, smallish restaurant in Queen Anne. The menu is small, but the food is delicious. Likewise, the beer selection is small but very tasty. The wine menu is more substantial, but we didn’t try any. They have a solid happy hour with lower prices on every type of drink, not just a select few. The restaurant is fairly small, but they do have a small patio in the back, which was great for a summer evening. All in all, I really enjoyed our dinner here and would recommend as the best place in the neighborhood.

We were starving by the time we got to Betty's and it was getting quite late, but we were welcomed in and chose to sit at the bar as the restaurant area was a bit quiet. They have a varied menu and great wine list. We shared the melon and prosciutto, then I had the steak which was very tender and tasty - I personally found the jus a bit overwhelming however. My husband had the pork tenderloin which was very well cooked. We were only in Seattle for a couple of nights, but I would be very happy to return if in the area.

This is a restaurant that we go to once a week. Almost always sit at the counter and enjoy the friendship with the chef and what is on the menu that evening. Ben is a great personality and always makes you welcome. We love to go for happy hour and have the appetizers and the main menu is perfect too. I can't say enough about how we enjoy having Betty so close and so comfortable. Highly recommended.

Bad start. We ask the server if the betty burger is made from grass fed beef. she says she doesn't know. we ask her to ask the chef, then she says "ok, it dosen't. Wow, she was lying. she did know and just hoped we'd order it anyway. Ok, no problem. just a little lie. Service was very slow. Waited for our check for almost 1/2 an hour after we have finished desert. Ok, they were busy. Finally, after getting the bill which was almost $200 with tip, we sign and before we can rise from our chair the manager comes to tell us to get out she has a reservation waiting for our table. WHAT!! This is the first we've heard this and we were the ones waiting for them. Yes, a small problem in the scheme of things but so rude. It's not like we were camping. We had been trying to get out of the place for a 1/2 hour. And now, with their money collected, they tell us to get the hell out of there. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE. SURE MONEY MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND BUT DID THEY HAVE TO BE RUDE TOO?

I shouldn't say too much good about Betty as I don't want everyone to go there… However, it is in my neighborhood and I try to go at least once a week. Angie is my favorite bartender ever and the food is amazing. This is a local neighborhood joint and when I am there I see the same content faces over and over. If given the options, I would just go to Betty and forego the rest of the offerings on QA and possibly even Seattle:)

Highly recommended. A friend lives in Seattle, and took us there the first night. Everything was terrific. I had the garlic chicken, which was delicious, as was everything else on the plate (potatoes, vegetables, etc.) My friend and I split the kale salad, and I'm glad we did; it was really tasty, but it would have been too much food if I'd had it myself.

Dark bar, happy bartender. Odd seating arrangement, tables are separated from a large structure. Clean place. Cocktails $9.00, Rose' $8.00. Fries, very good and plentiful, $5.00. Smoked salmon was good $9.00. OK, not over-the-top.

They had a pretty limited menu but each of us wanted one of a couple things. We loved everything we got and the service we got was great. From the street, the sign makes the place seem campy, hence why we've never been there but I'm glad we went!!

My wife and I visit Betty regularly and always have a pleasant experience. We sit at the bar and their bartenders are knowledgeable and attentive. Their food is always good if not exceptional and they are a great neighborhood restaurant.

We went for a casual business dinner to Betty and it was wonderful. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and everything from the roasted Brussels sprouts to the cauliflower to our entrees were fantastic! Don't miss the chicken - it's totally worth the wait :) in all, it was a cozy atmosphere and a great meal. I would definitely go back!

We stayed in Queen Anne, and ate here twice for dinner. If you aren't in the Queen Anne area, I can't say that I would go out of my way to eat here, but if you are in the area then it is worth a stop. Two of the items we tried were so great. We had a housemade pasta that was delish! The squash blossom starter was unique and quite tasty. And we had one item that was so-so, which was the chicken de lima (?) soup; the broth was excellent, but the chicken was dry. This was also the same soup of the day two days later when we ate there again. And we had one item that wasn't good, in my opinion, which was the peach cake. Very dry as though it was several days old.

Restaurant down the street was filled so snagged the last table at Bettys. A terrific choice! Chicken was excellent-like eating in Paris-crispy skin, juicy inside. Cassoulet also great. Owned by a very personable sister(Angie-great bartender!) and brother(Robbie) who attend to everything . Need a more choclatety desert and it would have been a perfect meal. Will definitely return soon.

Nice atmosphere. Limited menu with no specials on a Thursday night. My entree was not hot so I sent it back. It was returned and still was just barely warm (I had lasagna). Because I was with a group and didn’t want to delay meal I accepted the lukewarm entree. Waitress when returning with “hot” entree told me it was the right temperature. Regardless of that, I just don’t feel like the menu etc justify the price to eat here. The lasagna was mediocre. My friends seemed to enjoyed their dinners. Service was okay.

Recommending Betty for Happy Hour. The Frites are amazing. Thin and cooked well but not burned and a huge portion. Lemon Drops are also on Happy Hour special though not listed. The vodka martini with olives worked well, but the bartender will make whatever you'd like. The atmosphere is great and we had the sun shining on our backs as we sat at the bar. We also had the manchecho is olive leaves which was also great - just hard to compare when the frites arrived.

OK, I eat the Betty burger almost every time. But I do eat the fish, steak and salad. They're all great. The chef is pleasant and make's this local restaurant friendly and warm. It's a great place for good food that regulars in the neighborhood frequent.

This restaurant is seriously good. I have been here about a dozen times and never had a bad meal. I recommend it to everyone I know.

This was my second trip to Betty and both times enjoyed the food and atmosphere . This is the second restaurant owned by the owners of crow . The food both times has been excellent staff professional and inviting .

My son and I ate dinner at the Chef's Counter (required because my son is just under 21). Watching the cooks was very interesting, indeed fun. Our main meals were excellent - a steak and short ribs. Our deserts weren't overly special. We will come back.

This is a small neighborhood restaurant, a very friendly place. We just wanted something simple for dinner, not a crazy expensive deal. I had an excellent burger, just right. The menu is small but varied. We would go back!

The food at Betty is consistently delicious. The service is excellent. The staff is very friendly and caring. A lovely dish is their roast chicken. Come Sunday through Thursday for their 20 bottles of wine for $20.

You'll find a lot of regulars at Betty, and it's easy to get to know the staff. I have been there at least a dozen times, solo, with husband, or with friends. They'll take good care of you and are great handling special dietary needs. The small menu has some fixed items, with seasonal changes that keep it fresh and interesting. There is usually (always?) a vegetarian option, but leans carnivore/seafood and a vegan wouldn't not do well. I do agree with another reviewer who noted the saltiness that can creep up, and I would recommend that they dial it down a notch or two and let patrons add salt at the table if they want. Prices are eminently reasonable without any sacrifice in quality or atmosphere, including great deals on bottles of wine during happy hour.

This non-assuming restaurant threw us off at first. However, once the food started coming, we were amazed at how fresh and fantastic it was. The wait staff was delightful. Definitely going back.

We were so lucky to get one of the last tables this Fri. night. At 5, we were it in an empty restaurant and by 6, Betty Restaurant was jumping. Atmosphere, not too loud, staff friendly and efficient. The cassoulet was a perfect choice for a cold night, as were all our choices. Sticky toffee for dessert wow. There were rather beautiful unusual/surrealistic pictures on the walls

Great food, awesome drinks

While the dinner menu is somewhat limited, we enjoyed every dish. For me, the best plate of the night was the roasted chicken. Savory crunchy bits of garlic and herbs with a clean tasting, perfectly roasted piece of chicken surrounded by tiny roasted potatoes and fresh green beans. My husband also enjoyed his lamb. We shared the apricot roulade with rich, tasty coffee to finish. I would definitely return.

Wow the steak and fries were so very memorable. Loved the taste. The kale salad was so tasty that my daughter and her boyfriend ate this selection before I could take a bite. Loved the cocktails- the Betty. Safe restaurant in beautiful Queen Anne Hill.

We were here with family before a concert. They were sensitive to the time pressure. The service was attentive, but not hurried. All of our food choices were excellent and promptly served. The waitperson was interested and had some interesting conversation. Delightful evening

Angie (and the food) are great. We generally go on Thursdays and she is always there to greet us and catch up on life. I'm a rye Manhattan and wife is a slightly dirty martini to start. Cassoulet in the winter and steak frites the rest of the year, but overall you can't go wrong. Great spot.

I was looking for a last minute reservation on a Saturday night in Queen Anne and read about Betty on Yelp. Reviews were pretty good and I believe they were understated. This place was perfect. We were seated right away although the place was full. The service was very good. The menu was not abundant with choices but we all really liked our selections. I had spaghetti made with wild boar meat sauce that was spicy and very good. I would recommend this place to anyone. Parking is easy.

Located on Queen Anne. Ate during mid-week and it was busy but able to get a table without a reservation. Service was friendly and good. Good choice of beers on tap and wine with prices reasonable - $5 for a draft and $9-10 for a good glass of wine. Meal choice was adequate - pleased with the wild boar spaghetti, others had risotto and the steak which were fine. Desserts were above average in quality at $8 for most items. As in many restaurants, it was a bit noisy, but quieted when a couple of big parties cleared.

I've eaten at their sister restaurant Crow a lot and Betty is just as good. Had the sockeye salmon, perfectly cooked, loved the green beans and even liked the cucumber which I normally don't. Highly recommended

Nicely prepared and fresh is what you can expect at Betty's. The menu is not extensive but what is on it can be counted on for high quality. I enjoyed the roast chicken, beautifully browned and nicely seasoned. My only qualm was the air quality. The kitchen exhaust fans didn't seem to be working as they should the evening I was there so the dining room was quite heavy with cooking odors and smoke.

Counterbalance and Manhattan cocktails were mixed well. Cured meat appetizer was great, especially the marcona almonds. Green salad and tomato/mozzarella plate also really tasty with wonderfully simple vinaigrette on the salad. Sockeye salmon entree was cooked perfectly. Blueberry pie to go was okay, crust could have been flakier. Staff excellent!

Food and atmosphere was really good. A good spot to go for a next relaxing atmosphere on a night out with the wife, gf or a few friends.

This is a great place in my neighborhood where the food and service can always be counted on to please. The menu is small but changes so you can go often and not get bored.

I always have a good meal at Betty - so four stars for consistency. Betty is really a neighborhood restaurant so goes for slightly upscale comfort in food and ambience (the neighborhood is upper Queen Anne after all).

Having dined at Betty on numerous occasions, sampling many different dishes (some delicious, some bordering on the mundane), I have to say the last two visits, approximately 3 weeks apart, were disappointing. Someone in the kitchen is much too generous and handy with the salt shaker. Moderation, please! Some of the dishes (fries, special of the day fish, fried Wisconsin cheese curds were almost inedible due to their salt content. Waitstaff is generally good although some long waits for mixed drinks occurred on several different evenings. Betty is good value and does have a varied and interesting menu - but it can be spotty.

A menus based on what is fresh. Several vegetarian options. A full bar and affordable wine list. The Queen Anne neighborhood offers shopping and great views before sitting down to eat

really good food

Great neighborhood restaurant on the top of Queen Anne. The food and service are consistently wonderful. Wine list isn't huge, but good and fairly priced. We prefer to sit at the chef's counter so we can watch the action. We had the rib eye and fish special (salmon tonight )- both were excellent. The rib eye was perfectly cooked and came with great bistro fries. The salmon was fresh and tasty. Reservations are strongly recommended.

We had the sockeye salmon - and it was GREAT! The wine and cocktails were good - but the service was merely OK. I would certainly go to Betty again for the Salmon!

This was our first dinner out with friends post-COVID. My wife had their mushroom ravioli (homemade pasta with King Oyster mushrooms, Ricotta, leeks, nettle pesto & parmesan) and I had their Crow's Lasagna (handmade pasta, Italian sausage, marinara, basil pesto, bechamel & parmesan). Both dishes were delicious.

the food and the service were both excellent I had the beef dip and the taters yummy. I would go back again

Four of us had excellent meals and reasonably priced wine @ Betty's last night. Sevrice was well timed. Prices are a bit high (average entree about 23$) as everything is ala carte, but there is a price fixed meal for $30- three courses, which is a good deal and my husband enjoyed. I had one of the best ribeye steaks with thin little frites I've had in years. Husband had spicy lamb sausages in a complex tomato broth, plus posole soup and carrot cake! Our friends had giant pork chops. All of us are semi-foodies and we liked the meal a lot.

While the service at Betty was friendly and charming the evening I ate there, the food left something to be desired. The touted seafood special on this night in August sounded fantastic, but tasted rather bland. Unfortunate, given the price of the meal. As a visitor to the city, the restaurant came recommended as one of the Queen Anne neighborhood eateries to visit. I wish had I had gone to the nearby pizza establishment. My dining partner had a similar experience with her meal. This review is based on one visit to the restaurant.

Cozy restaurant with a nice vibe. Good food, good service.

the decor is warm and inviting, but the food is uninspired. Crow is the better, consistently good choice.

I hadn't been to Betty's for over a year, but last week had a fine meal with my spouse and a friend. The steak Betty built her reputation on is fabulous, and so big two of us could have been satisfied. Maybe I shoudl have skipped the large wedge salad as a first course- also good wtih green goddess dressing. Husband had halibut special on pea greens and loved it. He shared my enormous serving of frites, in the belgian manner. I liked that we could HEAR each other too, so unlike some spots. It's not cheap (steak = $26), so still toward a special event spot, but very good.

Went to Betty’s before our play at the S style Rep. Sat at the Chef’s Table to watch the cooking. Great food (chicken and Betty Burger. Food was cooked impeccably and service great. Our favorite pee-theatre spot in Seattle

I maybe have steak once a year, and from now here is where I order it. Perfectly cooked med rare with crispy fries in adundance. all 4 of us ate my fries but I was miserly with the steak. Other couple both had roast chicken and husband had boar pasta. Big servings so we all brought food home. I appreciate no pressure to order drinks. Only down side_ it is noisy. Still loved it.

Betty is a nice space but the food is just mediocre.

Great location....great atmosphere and good food (not great)...but their butter lettuce and walnut salad is one the the best I have ever had! I really like this restaurant.....

This is a place that does things right. We went to Betty's for happy hour after walking y it so many times. All items were very reasonably priced, we tried several different things and we were pleased with all of them. The menu might be a bit too traditional if you will, but the food was cooked right. Also if you sit at the counter you can see the chefs cook your food which is a definite plus, I like to see what goes into my plate and I like it when the kitchen is kept in a proper manner and they are not afraid of showing it to the customers.

It's okay, but for the amount of money the food is not that great. The service was nice.

the food is simple but perfectly prepared. you know you are in a good restaurant when the vegetables could stand on their own as a dish. they have an excellent wine and beer list. the decor is contemporary but comfortable. service was excellent.

My husband and I were visiting Seattle, staying in the Queen Anne neighborhood. This place came recommended by our host - and we really enjoyed. Small place, smaller menu, but really tasty food and good drinks. Recommend making a reservation ahead as they do get busy on the weekends. Will be back on our next visit.
Crow's sister restaurant. Not as good as Crow though.
