The table was not cleaned between our entre and dessert and dessert had to be sent back as was not prepared correctly. Second desert was done wrong as well.

Great dining experience began with a very pleasant hostess seating us. Stephen was our server and did a fantastic job. Also Michael the manager stopped by and visited to make sure we were having a great experience.

We were staying at the Omni Hotel and had dinner at this restaurant. The weather was perfect to have an outdoor dinner as well. It’s a beautiful scene and so calming. We ordered drinks, I had the Tropicali. Fantastic rum mango cocktail. Their cocktail list is extensive and so fun! They have a breakdown where it will tell you if it’a fruity, earthy, strong, etc. We ordered the oven roasted oysters, crab cake, and burrata salad for appetizers. The oysters were different but good. I’m not use to having BBQ sauce on them. The crab cake and burrata salad - DELICIOUS! My friend ordered the special of the day, which was a Sea Bass with purée potatoes and vegetables. He cleaned the plate and said it was just exceptional. I ordered the risotto with salmon on top. Now that was a beautiful pair of foods and I also finished it all. Lastly we ordered the chocolate molten cake and goodness, that was a dessert I can eat everyday.

We always enjoy our meals at Blind Salamander’s. The food is fresh with great service and a view. The grapefruit blossom cocktail is so refreshing You won’t be disappointed!

I have eaten here a few times now. Honestly, extremely happy with this place and the fact that it is close to my home. Staff is friendly and well educated on their products. Food is flavorful and of good quality. Drinks are good as well. The sound can be loud if packed but on Christmas Eve our waitress stated they were working on that. I see this place being our go to for awhile. My favorite is the short ribs. They fall off the bone and are very very very flavorful. I enjoy the food is not overly salty which a lot of restaurant food can be. This place is not understaffed. Your water glass will barely get below half full. If you go early you could be out numbered by staff to customers. Thank you Omni for the remodel and this addition to the area.

First time at this new restaurant in The Omni Barton Creek Resort. Wide range of appetizers, salads, entrees, and deserts. Started with oysters from New England and PEI, then on to a salad and finally halibut as the entree. Large wine by the glass selection, as well as full bottles. Suggest for a special occasion. It is pricey. The service was excellent. The view of the Barton Creek Resort is spectacular.

Disappointed. I love the venue but the food this visit was subpar, which was too bad since I’d raved about the place to my guests. The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail appetizer was overboiled and thus chewy. The entrees of redfish for $47 and the salmon for $44 were undercooked, even though nicely seasoned. The pasta main dish was a very small portion - literally a few tablespoons for $30. The dessert chef’s versions of tiramisu and baked alsaka were highly decorative but bore no resemblance in look to what would be expected, and the flavors were just reminiscent. And, I cannot leave this unsaid: the waiter used the royal “we”. No one speaks that way in real life so I presume he was trained to do so. It comes off as affected and patronizing.

We decided on the spur of the moment to try this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. Located in the Omni Barton Creek resort the setting is wonderful. Service was well timed. Burrata salad was a great fall taste. Cod and Scallop dinners were expertly prepared and served just at the right pace. All around it was a wonderful evening.

To spend over $100 per person you expect to walk away with rave reviews. Not last night. Although the service was very good, the food was beyond bland. We had mussels, Mac and cheese, steak tartare and a salad for appetizers. The salad was finished the rest were not. Three filets and a pasta dish were ordered for the main course. The pasta seemed ok the steaks were tasteless, as were the mushrooms they came with.No taste of salt, pepper or anything else. There was a sauce of some kind over the steak but there was no taste to it either. I think there must have been a new chef because I have eaten there before with much better results. Change the number of stars to one, I’ve had much better meals at whataburger.

Came here for wine and dessert after dinner at Crenshaw’e. It was a lovely experience in every way. The raspberry chocolate dessert was fresh and delicious, and the wine was great too. The highlight of the evening was lounging on the porch, overlooking the lush and beautiful Texas hill country.
Nice place for dinner
We had a nice dinner here when we stayed there at the hotel. The service was really good. I wish the menu was a little larger but we all found something that worked out well
