The Ribeye was beautifully marbled, juicy, and seared with a perfect crust. The Lamb Lollipops were tender and elevated by a vibrant tomato-serrano chutney that added just the right kick!

Fantastic service, awesome food! NOT your San Antonio typical steakhouse! This is more like a high end Vegas Steakhouse! A must try

Decided to try a different steakhouse for dinner and because of the price I figured it would be similar to jprime or something like that. Didn’t see an appetizer we wanted so I had a tequila old fashioned until the salads arrived. With my dinner I had Havana and coke. (Both drinks were good) Now I wasn’t impressed with the dinner at all. My steak lacked seasoning and the chimichurri had too much vinegar for my liking. Had the lobster mashed potatoes and they tasted boxed and were pretty dry. For the price I expected better quality food but the service was amazing and a nice restaurant to celebrate special moment. I would say just try it for yourself but it’s just not for me so I won’t return.

Blu came recommended to us so we decided to give it a try. If there was a rating between average and very good that would have been a more appropriate rating as I see them as above average, but still some issues with the food, I defaulted to ‘very good’. First the service was terrific; Blake and Mickenna were both fantastic and get a bravo from us. Knowledgeable, friendly and kind. The atmosphere was sexy, candle lit with a modern vibe; we enjoyed the ambience a lot. Very few kids, not that we mind kids, but at a higher end establishment, crying babies can ruin a fun date night. We sat in a half-moon shaped booth and it was comfortable and elevated. We started with the caviar. When you have an appetizer that starts at $125 and goes up to $325, you had better be spot on! Those are not rookie prices and if you can’t deliver on the dish, better to remove it from the menu. Lots of issues with this starter and I hope this helps the kitchen. When serving caviar you should place a mother of pearl spoon, for each person, at their place setting. We found one spoon under a mountain of ice as we were finishing the dish. It came with 6-8 tiny ramakins, all with out serving utensils. We tried scooping out with our knife since a butter knife was never provided. They forgot the crème fraiche, which after we asked for it, they brought back another ramakin with a tiny amount. But the worst part was the blini’s. These tiny pancakes are the key vessel for the caviar. They were scorched on the outside and raw, runny, pancake batter in the center. We both got one, loaded it with caviar, just to put it in our mouths and gross, batter ruined the caviar. Again, if you can’t execute a dish, just take it off the menu. The Caesar salad had a delicious dressing and the romaine was fresh but they fried the anchovy in tempura batter. It is a melt in your mouth tiny fish, frying it in heavy batter is a hug mistake, odd tasting and oily. We shared the NY strip flight next. Came beautifully presented and the steak was very good quality wagyu. In Texas, great wagyu is easy to find, and this was on par with many of the other steak houses in the area. A bit on the pricey side at $200. The star next to the steak was the truffle mac and cheese and it was some of the best I have ever had. Al dente pasta, shavings of truffles and a lovely sauce. Desert was their layered marbled cake with white and dark chocolate. It was good and a very large piece which we brought home.

Let me start by saying the dress code may say “business casual,” but ladies, don’t hold back—bring out your best! Think fur coats, sparkly dresses, red-bottom heels, and a bold red lip—everything glamorous! You are going to feel like a Queen! BLÜ Prime made our 3rd anniversary unforgettable! From the intimate booth with rose petals to the surprise layered cake with fresh fruit, every detail was perfect. The food was incredible—lamb lollipops, a 16oz ribeye (shared for us in the back), creamy lobster mac and cheese, and flavorful Brussels sprouts. Ethan, our waiter, deserves special praise for elevating our experience. He was not only knowledgeable but also genuinely invested in making the evening memorable. He suggested two red wines to pair with our meal, and after sampling both, I went with his top pick—the Belle Glos. It was phenomenal, so much so that I ordered a bottle to take home! My partner had the Black Panther cocktail, which was complex, smooth, and equally impressive. We ended our night with two Carajillos, which were a whole experience on their own. Hands down, they were the tastiest we’ve ever had and paired perfectly with the anniversary cake. The attention to detail at BLÜ Prime is unmatched. Every staff member contributed to the magic of the night. Their attentiveness was seamless—you feel cared for every second of your visit. BLÜ Prime is truly a place where fine dining meets extraordinary service. If you’re looking for a special occasion spot (or just an amazing meal), I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you, Ethan, and the entire team for making our night so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

It has potential but its just like most other high priced steakhouses. Barn doors are not a good idea. Service needs to be worked on.

Went here for business. Incredible service. Carlos and each member of the team were super attentive to every detail. Enough touch points throughout the meal without being instructive. Steaks selections were unlimited and steaks were perfect. Our table had everything from Wagyus to bone in filets. Everything was perfect.

Absolute 10/10 experience for elegant fine dining. Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service and the food was great. Seasoned well, good size portions....the drinks? Top tier. Bring your wallet, however, as you will pay the price but it will be well worth it.
