"Great dining experience!"

What a pleasant dining experience at the Blue Ribbon in Las Vegas! Awesome menu and pleased everyone in our group! The service was friendly and cozy atmosphere made the evening a very enjoyable one...Make sure to visit, you won't be disappointed!

Very nice variety of food

By mommaneedsatrip |

We had dinner here for the first time in August. I was very pleased with the menu. The menu wasn't huge, just one page, but there is a wide variety of foods. My husband had the oysters for an appetizer, and we both had steak for the main entree. Both steaks were cooked to perfection. The staff was very attentive. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice. It is a very comfortable space, not 'stuffy' at all. The food was very good, service was excellent, and environment very comfortable. I will return.

So Good!

By Rachelld66 |

We ended up at the bar at Blue Ribbon in The Cosmopolitan. Winston, the bartender was friendly while remaining professional. The drinks were good and strong! I got the Mai Tai, don't expect a syrupy sweet drink-you know you're drinking. I had oysters on the half shell and they were served traditionally with lemon, cocktail sauce, teriyaki sauce and a vinegar dip-simple and delicious. We also shared the fondue appetizer-delicious and generous portion. Great atmosphere for hanging out and relaxing.

Nice meal

By LostInTime |

I went here for a late dinner. The bacon and meatball appetizers were awesome. I ordered the fried chicken and it was really good. An enjoyable meal. I’d go again.

Excellent food, subpar cocktails

By LThomas1301 |

Dined on a weeknight early evening. Able to have comfy booth. Server was attentive. Food was very good. Branzino well prepared and tasty. Lobster also good. Chocolate chip bread pudding was delicious and crème brûlée was also very good. Only thing that didn’t hit were the cocktails. Husband sent back his and subbed mule was ok. Sangria was not great. Wines were good. Improve cocktails and this hits all the marks. Still a great restaurant.

Happy Hour

We went to the bar prior to a concert and enjoyed oysters, shrimp and beverages. Good prices and friendly, attentive service.

Excellent restaurant in Vegas

By Steve R |

This restaurant is in near the Boulevard Tower of the Cosmopolitan hotel. I really enjoyed the matzah ball soup, and the grilled salmon and vegetables entree was delicious and cooked the way I liked it. They also had excellent ice cream for dessert. The prices are a little on the high side, but the service was excellent and the food was great.

The BEST dining experience I've had in years.

By Mike T |

This was one of the best dining experiences I've had in years. Here's why: * Food - amazing. The fish dishes at this place are absolutely fantastic. Loved the combination of flavors and the presentation. And, they actually give great sized portions. So many Las Vegas restaurants charge a fortune for an entree that still leaves you hungry at the end. Not this place - we both actually left full, and were still talking about the food the next day. * Service - so attentive. Our waiter, Angelo, was probably the best server I've ever had. He was fun, super attentive, and very helpful. Twice he helped us make the right food decisions, guiding us in a non pretentious way to make the right choice based on what we were looking for. Even the manager stopped by to make sure we were happy. * Ambience - love it. It's dim, and pretty quiet for Las Vegas standards. So many restaurants here have you yelling across the table at your spouse. Not here - it was bustling, but not loud at all. One other plus - it's closed off enough that you don't get that nasty ambient smokey casino smell, which happens to other more open restaurants in casinos. * Cocktails - fantastic. I'm tired of the $17 Las Vegas cocktail that is mostly ice. You actually get a good sized pour here, the cocktail menu is super inventive, and if you time it right, you can get their cocktails for $13 each under their SoHo menu. This is a rare jewel in a city of otherwise overpriced and over hyped restaurants.

Terrific meal

By Jack H |

We went in early for dinner at 7pm as we were going on to a show. It is a nice comfortable restaurant with a good ambiance. The dishes that we had were fried oysters and duck breast also fresh oysters and skate. Everything was spot on and you get a choice of east coast or west coast oysters, I chose the smaller east coast ones which have a bit more salinity and they were absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and professional - can highly recommend Blue Ribbon. The total bill was $240 including 4 drinks and a tip, not cheap but this is fine dining in Vegas.

Nice Vegas Dinner

By Aaron |

Had a work dinner here as part of a conference. I enjoyed the filet and the champagne. I would definitely come back here to eat.

interesting menu

By Bill O |

stayed at the cosmopolitan and this is one of the restaurants that are located on the third floor above the casino. We decided to go here because it was described as seafood but it was much more than that when we got a look at the menu. they had a good selection of steaks and many of the appetizers were even Chinese food inspired along with sushi and a wide selection of meat and cheeses it was very interesting menu with lots of tasty items. I had a shrimp cocktail which was very good and then for my entrée I decided to go with you wagu hanger steak which was great. The dessert menu was also very good I had a chocolate chip bread pudding which did not disappoint. because there was so many choices on the menu I will strongly consider going again to try something new next time in town. The only negative was a small one as the restaurant is open to the lobby shared by five or six other places the front of the restaurant is a bar area and even though we made a reservation prior to they sat us in the seating section in the bar area even though the main dining area was not very full and I believe they did this just to make the restaurant look busier than it was to anybody walking by looking for a place to eat. since I made a reservation it would’ve been more appropriate for me and my coworker to be sat in a booth when so many of them were available.

The fried chicken is some of the best I've ever tasted.

By AP Cayman |

Last night my family and I had the privilege of dining at this restaurant. The decor and ambiance are welcoming and classy but casual. We started with the hummus and oysters for our appetizers which we delightful (oysters in particular we had the East Coast malpeque variety). For our mains we ordered the fried chicken which comes with collared greens and mash with gravy. Accompanied with a side of honey and some of the tastiest hot sauce I've ever had this is a meal will leave you feeling full and satisfied. Of all the fried chicken joints I've eaten at over the world this option is in the top 5 for sure.

Very good restaurant (but no sushi)

By MC6363 |

If you are in the Cosmopolitan hôtel in Vegas, looking for a nice place to have a late after show dinner, this is a very good tip. Very good see food, meat and even a topic call Swiss fondue which is excellent. Initially, we thought at Blue Ribbon NyC with Japanese fusion food and especially great sushi’s but not in this one. However, we have a great dinner still and have to say the the place was very welcoming. The manager Thierry (who happens to be French speaker) was also very caring and friendly. So definitely a place to advise if you look for a great easy and trendy place, with good food and flexible opened hours.

Excellent Comfort Food!

By The Phil Factor |

Large portions, delicious food. I had the catfish sandwich. Honestly it was fair, but my two companions had fried chicken and pork chops. This place prides itself on their fried chicken and it did not disappoint. I wish I had ordered. They have an excellent wine and beer menu. The prices were moderate. The wait staff was excellent.

Ashley was amazing, the food was delicious and the ambiance was lovely!

By WT-P |

We celebrated at the Blue Ribbon on July 20th for my husband's Birthday and our 31st Wedding Anniversary. Ashley was our waitress and she provided outstanding service! It was our first time and she really wanted us to know she was going to make sure our experience would be wonderful. We wanted to make sure what we ordered, we'd enjoyed and Ashley asked us what were some of our favorite foods, what we like and didn't like and she listened to us and made four suggestions such as: a Pinot Noir Wine for my husband, appetizers for us both which was a soup with some amazing grilled toasted bread and our main course, the steam Lobster that we both loved. Also, she suggested a Bread Pudding for desert topped with ice cream...loved it. Ashley provided customer service with a Spirit of Excellence. The waiter assisting was great, he was always right on time with everything, we never had to look for him, it was like he was waiting to assist and he was very kind. The Resturant decor was beautiful and for us, very romantic. The Blue Ribbon is now our favorite place in Vegas. We are still talking about the food and our experience with Ashley, she made our entire Birthday and 31st Anniversary a night to remember! She told us she was new and hadn't been with there very long. We never would have know it, she love her job and it showed and she was "seasoned". We know she's going to be a great asset to the team! Ashley you're Amazing, thank you for making our night so very SPECIAL! We will definitely be back in 2022!

Top notch

By LondonSimon |

Really enjoyed a superb dining experience here on our recent holiday in Las Vegas. Excellent unpretentious food served by friendly professional staff in a relaxed atmosphere. Not cheap, but quality seldom is. Well done you lot! Thank you.

Great service, great food.

By RoscoDaw |

Chic but comfortable place for a cocktail and snacks or sit down dinner. The bartenders are outstanding!

Mediocre food for the Price!

By Mymeggie |

First time at this restaurant and unfortunately we did not have a good experience with the food. First of all, I need to say the manager, wait staff and hostess was very polite and extremely attentive. The food was disappointing. I had the 1/2 of roasted chicken with potatoes and sautéed spinach. The entire entrée had a strong and strange flavor. I was not able to sleep at all that night, felt alert and over stimulated. I did not have any caffeine. I was very suspicious of MSG being used on the entrees which causes some persons to have a caffeine effect. I also felt the prices were too high for the quality of the food.

Chilled night out

By Meloney B |

So after a few days of trying to battle jet lag from the U.K. and not waking up at 4am every morning we felt good to go out for some proper sit down restaurant food instead of early dinner and bed. We had booked a table from our tablet in our room at the cosmopolitan and had a pretty good idea of the menu. The food was great but instead of sitting down at the table we had a few drinks at the bar first and then opted to eat at the bar. The barman Shea was great conversation and very prompt with drinks and knowledge on different cocktails. It was a very entertaining evening and the food was good too. Given what we ate it did feel a little overpriced, especially in comparison to a like for like back in the U.K. but that’s Vegas baby! Defo worth a visit if not for food then drop in for some time at the bar

Just amazing

By Agustin S |

Service was great. Appetizer was delicious meet was great and desert was amazing. It is better to pay a little extra and get great food

Amazing

By Kris H |

Best fried chicken I have ever had, super crispy but not greasy, the potatoes that came with it were awesome. Had some oysters for the appetizer which were also great. Attentive servers, would come back in a heartbeat.

WOW! Loved this restaurant so much we came back the very next night!

By JC C |

Located in the Cosmopolitan Hotel where we were staying, we were exhausted and really just wanted a nearby option for dinner. What a complete joy it was to find this incredible restaurant. The food is undeniably the best in Vegas! Service was delightful! Do not miss the chance to dine here, and for sure get the cheese fondue!

Great vegas restaurant

By Wendy B |

The hospitality at this location is outstanding. Chiachi always makes us feel welcome and treats Us well. Our server Ashley did a great job and took care of everything without being asked. The food here is exceptional. Great experience overall.

Excellent Food and Service

By ScoobySoo L |

I had a lovely dinner at this restaurant. The wait staff were very knowledgeable about the ingredients of each dish and what they recommended. I had the tomato soup and the shrimp tagliatelle, both dishes were excellent. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely too, it had a real homely feel, not stuffy at all. If I could change one thing, it would be nice to have a bit more time between courses.

Blue Ribbon Gets A Blue Ribbon

By eslmom |

A really fine dining experience in a casual atmosphere at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. We were seated a by a very friendly hostess. The menu was very extensive. We ordered the spare rib and shrimp cocktail appetizers. Both very well prepared and portions were generous. For main courses we had shrimp provencal and rack of lamb. Both excellent. For dessert we shred a banana split. Enough for 2 to share. We are looking forward to our next visit! Moderately expensive but well worth the price!

Amazing service

By LeaannG_11_09_2013 |

Mark was an amazing server. Great service from all the staff. Very tasty food had the Hanger steak and asparagus. Did I say GREAT SERVICE!

We were looking for a nice

By HassettFam |

We were looking for a nice place to have dinner- but not too nice or stuffy. Love the Blue Ribbon- nice causal but classy vibe. We actually ate at the bar- the pork ribs (app) and 1/2 chicken was awesome.

Amazing truffle fries!!

By pinkkitty427 |

Our party of 7 had dinner here one evening and it was outstanding!!! I did not have it but a apparently the fried chicken is to die for. Several members of our party had it. My shrimp roumelade was a bit different than I expected but still good, just not made like it is in Louisiana. Still, delicious dining experience.

More oysters, please!

By Andreava K |

I love a good oyster and while I am a little skeptical about ordering seafood in a landlocked state, Blue Ribbon's oysters tasted like they were brought in from the pier that day. Their quality surpassed the oysters I ate the month before on the coast of Maine. To top it off, our server, Matt, was EXCELLENT. He gave us the inside scoop on the menu to ensure we ordered the staff favorites, which were some of the most flavorful dishes I have ever tried. Don't leave this restaurant without ordering the fried chicken--it's cooked to perfection!

Ashley Awesome! Sweetie!

By Charlie A |

Oh my goodness! The service was amazing, Thank you Ashley! Our food was amazing as well! We both ordered the 1/2 chicken dinner, came with mashed potatoes and broccolini! Oh my goodness! We were so full, however, when we discovered from Ashley that crème brûlée was in the dessert menu, WOWZA! Just keeps getting better here! Thank you sooooo much for an amazing dinner on our last night in Las Vegas!!!!! You are all amazing here!!!!!

Best fried chicken ever!

By Brig |

Our daughter told us about this fried chicken being her favorite while living in NYC. She was right on target! Flavorful, crispy and juicy... it’s my favorite now!

NYC 2019 Dinner well done and a la carte menu possible...

By LHOVancouver |

A Group of us were hoping to be dining on the Strip (because of the NYE Evening closures) and decided to try Blue Ribbon as one of the few higher end Restaurants which gave options around both Tasting Menus and A La Carte (individual selections). We were not disappointed. The steak, lamb, paella were all tasty and great portions. Staff friendly and helpful. Side dish standouts include Cheesy Spatzle and Collared Greens. You gotta try. Good luck and enjoy!

Loved the atmosphere and food

By Amy |

This was my sit-down first restaurant I've eaten at since being here in Vegas and I absolutely loved it! Food was fantastic, loved the atmosphere, our waitress was named Ashley and she was wonderful! They only take reservations, but it was easy for us to get a reservation same day. Highly recommend eating here!

Not really cool enough for the Cosmopolian

By ShuGirl6 |

Average, a bit odd menu and quite boring. It's like they are going through the motions. Decor ok. Garlic toast very average...wont return.

Business dinner

By Matt P |

The food and service were excellent. The menu has eclectic selection of foods. Only complaint was that tables were a little close together but once food and drinks came didn’t notice.

Exceptional in every way. Worth the price!

By McHenry1 |

Exquisite atmosphere, superb service and a culinary delight. Wine list was also great. Be prepared for an expensive, but excellent evening.

We will be back!

By ShowOurKidsTheWorld |

We had a great dinner at Blue Ribbon. Awesome cocktails and excellent service. Loved the chicken wings, shishito peppers and oysters for appetizer. Enjoyed the 1/2 roast chicken for dinner. Others had the Wagu hanger steak and duck and truly enjoyed. Cool vibe and really attentive and professional staff. This has become a regular visit for us each trip.

Wonderful!

By Phyllis L |

We celebrated our 35th anniversary with a wonderful dinner at Blue Ribbon. The service was impeccable and they wished us a happy anniversary when we arrived. The oysters were the best we ever had. We rounded out our meal with a salad, filet, and baked potato. Everything was outstanding, including the bread. There was an extensive wine and cocktail list. A complimentary anniversary dessert was presented with flair. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion.

Fantastic!

By JeanaPfeifer |

Service and cocktails were great. The French onion soup was alright - however the butcher board (very generous serving!) and shisito peppers were outstanding. We also had the “bucket of wings” which were next level crunchy, juicy and AMAZING!!! Loved our meal! Blue Ribbon is a longtime NYC favorite of mine and the Vegas location exceeded all expectations!! GO!

Still the best fried chicken ever!

By Tamara A |

We had to come back 4 months later to see if we had dreamed the fried chicken. Could it really be that hot, juicy, crispy a second time? Yup. It was. Our server was fantastic, fun and knowledgeable. We had the hummus again and were in heaven with a nice bottle of wine. Next time, we have to give China Poblano equal time, but we're glad we revisited the chicken. It was as good as we had remembered.

The best steak I've had in years

By Oakville Eats |

We came here for a late night dinner after a show with no expectations. We were blown away by our mains...I had the wagyu hangar steak with peppercorn sauce and my husband had the branzino with farro, slivered almonds and shallot vinaigrette. Both of us were blown away. For a cheaper cut of meat, this was better than ANY steak I've had in home country of Canada (with all their Alberta beef and such). Excellent service overall, and after making friends with the restaurant manager, he walked us down to a secret watering hole in the Cosmopolitan that we would've never have found otherwise. All I can say is wow!

Cheers!

By Shineykate |

Atmosphere is loungy/sexy/cool. I felt cooler just sitting in their soft leather sofa. Margarita- two thumbs up...but they offer lots of crafty cocktails and wine offerings. We ordered the charcuterie board and it was enough for a table of 5! I wish we could’ve eaten more. Easy, smart-casual place to pop in for a meal without fuss or stilettos.

Visited twice in one werk

By Lynn_Lyon |

I ate at the bar and the bar staff was exceptionally helpful with wine and food recommendations. I had the salmon jalapeño sashimi both nights and loved it. The first night I also had the red trout with spatzle and sage that was heavenly. They had a nice bottle of French red wine for about $60 too.

special experience

By Nancy M |

Everything we put in our mouths was delicious. moreover, the staff made us feel really special and made our experience fabulous!

Solid Restaurant

By Dan D |

Blue Ribbon- a sort of strange menu that has changed over the years, but they have some unique items that are underrated. A shame they did way with the Matzah ball soup, but there is still plenty to eat well here. The rib appetizer and the seafood platter are great. The mains are all solid, and the Greek salad, that for some reason they call the iceburg, is simple and refreshing.

Great food and service

By Peter K |

We had dinner here on 3/5/2020. We wanted to have a whole lobster dinner and the Blue Ribbon was one of the few places that offered that. The restaurant is located in the Cosmopolitan hotel and opens for dinner at 5 pm. This is our second visit to the Blue Ribbon. We found the food and service to be excellent. The lobster was excellent (the kitchen will remove the lobster meat from the shell if you want) and comes with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. If you are looking for seafood, this restaurant has an amazing assortment. The pricing is upscale Vegas but worth it.

Late Dinner loveliness

By Jennyc1965 |

Thus restaurant is on the 2nd floor at the Cosmopolitan Hotel where we stayed, with an entrance next door to the Bellagio. We had a late dinner after a show and was not disappointed. We decided to go after walking around the hotel not quite deciding what we wanted until we got here. At reasonable prices, I had a glass or two of local Rose wine, which was dry and crispy. I started with clams which lovely, big and the juices were stunning- I had extra bread to mop up the juices! I then had seafood pasta which was equally as good but I couldn’t finish it. My husband had a steak and found his really good. We were served by Peter who was a Ryan Philippe look a like and equally as funny - thank you Peter! If you weren’t working we would have loved you to join us for dinner! This restaurant is a must do, we would definitely recommend it, and hopefully we will be served by Peter again!

Pricey but Quality

By OishiMizu |

High end restaurant, a bit pricey for smaller high quality portions. Great service, great ambiance inside the Cosmopolitan. Food: first, the oysters were high quality fresh. Second, the sashimi was good, but just a few pieces (6 slices in all). Third, the baby squid had nice flavors but could use a little more salt. Fourth, the Branzini was amazing. Fifth, the lobster was delicious. Drinks were all done perfectly (Moscow mule, white wine, pot wine). The complimentary bread was warm and refill was nice.

So good!!!!

By 123grd |

Loved this restaurant! We had 5 in our party. Two of us had the salmon. It was delicious!!! The rest of the table ordered the Branzino, roasted chicken, and a burger. We started with the cheese fondue and a side order of truffle fries. So good! Everyone loved their meals! Loved the atmosphere too! Our server Joey did a great job. Answered all of our questions, very friendly. We went to the John Legend show at the Zappos theater in Planet Hollywood after dinner, this is a great restaurant to go to before a show at the Zappos theater. They take reservations and the theater is right across the street.

Nice dining experience

By short4cj |

Loved the selection of food to choose from. Ordered their fried chicken for dinner since our waiter said they are known for this dish. Was not disappointed with his recommendation! My colleagues enjoyed their meals and we all agreed we would come back again.

Great meal

By cadman125 |

We ordered lobster and steak filet. Both were wonderful. Very delicious filet! Creme Brûlée was tasty for dessert.

An amazing experience, highly recommended!

By Jason B |

This place is amazing! Sat at the bar and James was our bartender, helped with every decision and was completely knowledgeable about all the food. Set me up with the best Old Fashion I have ever had. I started with the Escargot, amazing and very hot (temperature hot). James suggested dipping the bread in the Escargot sauce, just unbelievable. For dinner I had the Braised Short Ribs, melted in you mouth. There isn’t anything I can say about this restaurant that isn’t too quality. The ambience and attention to detail are beyond expectations. I will most definitely be coming here again.

Great steak house

By nancee6338 |

Great steak house with cool sides and terrific service. Beef filet mignon was so tender and well seasoned. Cheesy spaetzle are really and enough for 2 or 3 people. Grilled asparagus are also recommended. I will go back next time I'm in Las vegas

Great place for a lobster dinner

By Peter K |

We had dinner here on 7/11/19. We wanted to have a whole lobster dinner and the Blue Ribbon was one of the few places that offered that. The restaurant opens for dinner at 5 pm. We found the service to be very good, the lobster was excellent (the kitchen will remove the lobster meat from the shell if you want) and BR has an amazing amount of seafood. The pricing is upscale Vegas but worth it.

Excellent as always

By nicolaleeds_UK |

Excellent food as always but the service is what sets it apart and keeps us coming back. Special thanks to Steven this time, great menu recommendations.

Great food and service

By Mo M |

We went for dinner to celebrate my son’s 20th birthday as we are staying at the Cosmopolitan. Food and service were great, very generous portions. We had the shrimp for starters and then for mains my son had the lobster (picture attached), daughter had Salmon and I had the wagyu deluxe burger. All of it was very tasty and our server was very polite, helpful and d super fast.

Excellent Dining Experience

By Meyerblings |

First time dining at Blue Ribbon in The Cosmopolitan Hotel. Stylish decor with a great variety of seating options. We were seated in a large booth, very private. Started with the shrimp cocktail which was delicious. The cheese fondue was lovely, great presentation. My husband had the half chicken with mashed potatoes and spinach. He couldn’t stop raving about the spinach, it was the best he’s ever had! I had the salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The food was all excellent. Service was very good as well. The menu has many different, appealing options. Reasonable prices for this dining experience. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Really enjoyable

By Dana G |

The food and service were excellent. Poke - excellent. Iceberg wedge with chunky/creamy blue cheese - excellent. Branzino - excellent.

Appalling, Appalling service

By Baz |

We went to this restaurant as a treat. It is described as 'fine Dining' but it is very far away from that. My wife was eating her starter and was not finished when the waitress came and took it away mid mouthful as our main meal was ready. We let this go so as not to cause a scene. Our mains arrived and i finished before my wife (food was ok). The waitress then came and took my glass away which again was not finished. I had finished my meal and the waitresses reappeared and then started to wipe down the table whilst my wife was mid meal... Appalling. Avoid this place if you want a fine dining experience.

Lots of excellent dining options to choose

By DennisG50 |

It is a more casual option in the Cosmopolitan Hotel with lots of food options from steaks to oysters to fish and pasta and everything in between. It was well presented and super friendly service. All of the dishes we chose were excellent. Go and enjoy !

Excellent

By 795suneelj |

This was excellent, my wife had the Oysters followed by the Steak Tartare, I had the Pate followed by the Pu Pu platter , which had a fried oyster that my wife said was the best she's ever had, and she's eaten the all over the world, our waiter Julian was absolutely wonderful.

THE WINGS

By Allison |

The food and cocktails were delicious but the highlight was the chicken wings. I'm not kidding, they were so GOOD

A good variety of great food and drink

By bbarnes822 |

We liked this restaurant so much we ate there twice during our Vegas stay. I know this restaurant is know for its chicken but it has a good deal of other delicious foods. The first night I had the Barbequed Duroc Pork Ribs. Fantastic and what fun! They arrived with their own little fire pot. I also split the Paella with a friend. Very tasty indeed. On our next visit, I doubled up on appetizers and had the Ribs again plus, the chicken wings. I’m not much of a drinker but my friend was impressed with the wine choices and moreover the knowledge of wine by our server. I think his name was Adam.

late night dinner

By robert s |

we got to the cosmoplitan late after the rodeo and we were hungery the hostess said the kitchen would close in ten minutes so we said lets get started the waitor told us the same thing i ask if that was enough time to cook the fried chicken he said yes i told him tthat is what i wanted my wife ordered the fondue platter she enjoyed and i stuffed myself unbeliveable out of this world the staff were fabulous and no complaining

Lovely birthday dinner with my boyfriend

By Florence B |

The service and food at the Blue Ribbon was excellent. My boyfriend and I both got a steak that were cooked very well and the food was overall very good.

Beautiful Birthday Celebration

By Ronald S |

Stephen was a fantastic waiter. Chaichi made sure everything was perfect. The ambiance is so much better than the online pictures make it look. It was intimate and comfortably luxurious. Hanger steak was great as was the Colorado Rack of Lamb! We will be back! Thanks

Seriously overpriced for ok good

By tommyt106 |

The waitress informs us this place was famous for the chicken wings. Seriously? so we tried it as an appetizer and had seafood for the main course. Like with most casino restaurants, you are paying for the decorations. The food was good but wasn't something that you cannot get off the strip. I don't know if I can recommend coming here for the chicken. Paella Royale was good. Salmon was also good.

Great meal

By jamessM8197IB |

We enjoyed a very good meal. The steak and fish was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. The oysters were fresh and were good. Good portion sizes. The sashimi was excellent. It was about 100 dollars per person for the entire meal.

You really should try it

By 1travlgirl |

So, I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this place. I was blown away by the general ambiance. Very cozy and sophisticated. I loved the jazz playing in the background. All of the staff were friendly (hostess, bartenders, waiters). The food was really good. I had the red trout and the was very happy with the dish as a whole. Went with a group this time, but will come back for date night in the future.

Great Meal!

By bardarwalls |

This restaurant was recommended by a local and it did not disappoint. The service was excellent and food was amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The truffle mashed potatoes and steak was delicious as well as the drinks from the bar.

Excellent dinner for 8

By Ed S |

Fantastic dinner for 8. Great food, wine and atmosphere. The bone marrow, seafood, steaks, fried chicken were all top notch.

Good service and very tasty food

By Deepwater_diver |

We decided to stop by for a business dinner. Service was very good and they have nice selection of alcohol. Onion soup was very good, but I found it to be nontraditional in how they lay the cheese and the bread. Kinda lazy... Wagyu steak was delish and cooked medium rare perfectly! Great vibe and food!

Sooooo good!

By wheretogowheretogo |

I treated my mom and daughter to a few days in Vegas and Blue Ribbon was a must try for us after doing some research. The ambiance was super chill and comfortable. The servers were all fabulous, especially Rachel! She has a great sense of humor and for us Canadians...that's MANDATORY for a server. We each tried something different and we weren't disappointed with anything! The Paella was HUGE! Definitely could have fed our party of 3. The Skate was AMAZING! The Pu Pu Platter was the perfect sample dish for my mom. So many things on the menu were intriguing, we'll have to go back to try it all! The best restaurant at The Cosmopolitan. Thank you!

Best of the best!

By B & D Southern |

Our first visit to Blue Ribbon inside the Cosmopolitan on the Strip. Donna & I travel for pleasure and work and on average stay close to 90 / 100 nights away in hotels. We can honestly say that we will be excited to return and make our first stop at the Blue Ribbon, Ken one of the Managers and our server Christine did an amazing job to look after our every needs! Thank you. Bill & Donna Waterloo, Canada

Changed reservations at the last minute, and happy we did!

By krissacramer |

A waiter recommended Blue Ribbon in place of a more formal streak house and it was a great move. Unlike your typical steak house, Blue Ribbon’s menu was much more comprehensive. The food was all amazing. We had a party of 6 and ordered a range of Kobe Steak, pasta, and steak tartar to name a few. Everyone was happy with the dinner. Along with all the cocktail choices, there wine menu was great too. 5 stars for sure. I would go back.

Great Restaurant - Great Food - Great Service

By LlewellynPatrick |

I was tired of eating in my room after day long conference. Loved the review of the Blue ribbon Brasserie in my room. I ordered their fried chicken, served with mashed potatoes, gravy and collard greens. It was simply delicious. I prefer Coke Zero to other diet colas, but this was a Pepsi establishment. However, I tried Mexican Pepsi, and even though it wasn't diet or zero sugar, it was the best cola I have ever tasted, albeit 50% more expensive. The people who lock after me were brilliant - they explained what I needed explaining. They were attentive without being in one's face. The evening was so good, I returned again for the same again, before leaving town, and it was just as good.

One of the best experiences!

One of the best experiences I have ever had in Las Vegas! Ramsey is the best bartender! The foo was great and the drinks were flowing!

Vegas can still suprise

By Richardw151515 |

Visited this restaurant in the Cosmo twice this week. Twice? With all Vegas can offer? I had the fried chicken, went back for more! The very best I have ever had, how I said to my son, can you get excited about chicken? Well if you want to know .....visit this place... AMAZING! Service great, bar staff best I have experienced in Vegas, not been open long but shot up my list of favourite places in This great city. Just go and have fried chicken, but I am sure whatever you have will be the best!

awesome food and great service!

By JamesEA1 |

Menu was very interesting and you can have Duck to Chicken and all things between! Very good service!

Great dinner

By lucycan |

Nice setting. Bar was great. Eclectic menu. Service was wonderful. Cool drink menu. We split the fried chicken and broiled lobster and could not be happier. The mashed potatoes (I know, right?) were incredible! Highly recommended.

Where Chef’s go to Eat!!

By Jon M |

An old favorite styled around the SoHo district this place delivers great food at a reasonable price (for Vegas). Like a bistro but incredible savory food. The escargot is fantastic and the Shrimp Tagliatelle is as well. Great service and a nice atmosphere. Would definitely come again!! Well Done Blue Ribbon!!

Food was AMAZING, dark quiet room was not - request main dining room

By MadameJade |

I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Everything we had was 9 out of 10 delicious. We started with the shrimp remoulade and fried oyster appetizers. My husband ordered an old-fashioned and I ordered a SoHo Spritz which was interesting and refreshing - similar to an Aperol Spritz. For the main course, my husband ordered the sweet & smoky catfish. He said it was great and I tried it too - definitely one of the most unique tasting fish dishes I have ever tried. I had the Branzino fish. Wow. I have never had the pleasure of experiencing a perfectly crispy fish skin. It was amazing - it crunched like a chip, but then the fish underneath was perfectly moist and not overcooked at all. Bravo. This brings me to the bummer of the meal. We were taken past the gorgeous dining room full of ambiance and a lively atmosphere to this dark room with about 6 tables. My husband almost got up and left because no one was waiting on us, then someone came just in time. I cannot figure out why we were taken to this dark room for dinner. My husband has great status at this casino and even has a hostess. Maybe because my husband had on a baseball cap? - Our flight had been delayed 3 times then cancelled. It was a long travel day, and then my husband's luggage was not on the flight. So while I had on a dress and heels, he was still in travel clothes - khaki pants, baseball cap, Nike pull-over. Looking back on it, while the food was outstanding, I somewhat regret spending one of our 4 Vegas dinner nights in the dark room. If you go, just tell them you want to sit in the main dining room - unless you are looking for a totally quiet, subdued dinner atmosphere.

Swanky meets Casual in a Delicious Dining Expereince

By seneruss |

The Blue Ribbon in the Cosmopolitan is the perfect spot for a romantic meal, a business dinner, or a gathering with friends or family. I know, because we went twice recently-- once with just Hubby and myself, and then again for my daughter's 14th birthday. Our date night meal was incredible. Service was spectacular and staff provided just the right amount of checking-in without it being too much. I am celiac and have a seafood allergy, so the risks of cross contamination while eating out can take away from the pleasure of the experience. At Blue Ribbon I had no hesitations about ordering a gluten free/shellfish safe meal. Our server was beyond helpful with recommendations and I could tell she knew what she was talking about. A manager even came over to check on us and make sure that everything was okay. (It was far beyond 'okay'!!) After a cocktail each, we ordered a nice bottle of wine to have with our mean. I had the filet mignon and my husband had the poke appetizer and a main of salmon. Both of our meals were delicious and prepared perfectly. We ordered Even though neither of us had enough room for dessert, my husband ordered the bread pudding, which he said was to die for. Which is why we decided to go back again with the family! Birthday girl LOVES filet mignon and a loaded baked potato (I had the same). Hubby ordered the chicken this time. Our son, who is a little more adventurous in his menu choices when eating at restaurants, ordered a catfish sandwich. He thoroughly enjoyed his meal, topped off of course with the bread pudding. Birthday girl was presented with a candle-topped ice cream sundae, and somehow she managed to 'share' my creme brulée with me as well. Again, service was exemplary. Blue Ribbon is now one of our 'new favourites' in Las Vegas. The ambience is a little hard to describe-- it is somewhat dark, but not too dark, and to me it has an old fashioned vibe with a modern edge. We are counting the days until we can return for another wonderful meal. If you are staying at the Cosmopolitan, or anywhere else in Vegas for that matter, make a point of treating yourself to a deliciously satisfying meal at Blue Ribbon.

Good but there's better

By Barb S |

We dined early by Vegas standards in order to catch a 7:30 show and were seated immediately. This is located in the Cosmopolitan where we were staying. It wasn't bad by any means, but after eating at the other places here (Zuma, Beauty, etc), it paled by comparison. Our server was very nice. We ordered cocktails, sashimi and a shrimp cocktail for appetizers. Very good. We were surprised by their bread basket - slices of what tasted/looked like white Wonder bread. I ordered the salmon and my husband had the roast chicken. Mashed potatoes had an odd, grainy texture. We had the strawberry sundae for dessert. Like I said, it wasn't bad, it was just underwhelming for a $250 tab for 2 people which we have no problem paying if the meal is surprisingly wonderful. This wasn't.

Amazing Dinner

By mariean2inette |

Last night in Vegas so we thought we'd wing it and pick a random restaurant. I'm glad all the other places were booked, because this turned out to be the best meal we had during our entire trip. The service was beyond excellent, everyone behind the bar was awesome and super friendly. The food was amazing, you need to try to escargot and the truffle mash. I can't wait to come back

Atmostphere, Service and a Delicious Meal

By Jill |

Gorgeous restaurant with excellent food and service to match. I had salmon, my guy had the fried chicken, it was ALL good. But get the fried chicken. It was legit!

What a great place

By Kevin C |

People matter and this place proves it. The staff are knowledgeable but not overpowering helpful but not interfering So you understand the wonderful service. Now enjoy the food. The menu is a mix of seafood and old favorites. It is not cheap but it is great value Never have I eaten in a place where I walked out as if I had just left friends Fantatstic

Eating at the bar is fun.

By McWett |

We ate at the bar before a show. Ramsey was our bartender and asked us what time our show was so we wouldn’t be late. A great mixologist he made perfect cocktails with amusing banter. The oysters Rockefeller were especially great.

Last-minute accommodated a party of 15!

By jelemus3 |

I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied that Blue Ribbon was able to accommodate a party of 15. The atmosphere was inviting and the service was above average for a our group. Though the vegetarian options were limited, the restaurant was quick to present reasonable alternatives for the vegetarian friend in our group. I was delighted by the fondue, oysters, and paella Basquez shareables. And my main course duck breast was well done, juicy, and flavorful.

Good Food but Costly

By jordansbulls |

Went to the Blue Ribbon at the Cosmo’s and got the Salmon and truffle fries along with the GGG cocktail. Very good food but costly. Overall $200 for two people.

First-Rate American Cuisine

By adalbert3 |

Diverse menu that can satisfy numerous palates and desires. They do a very good job with the Yellowtail Jalapeno Sashimi if you are looking for a light appetizer. However, many would argue that you are short-changing yourself if you come to Blue Ribbon and do not order the Bucket of Wings--they are known for them and they do not disappoint. Our group ordered four distinctly different entrees--Branzino, Crispy Mississippi Catfish, Duck Breast and Wagyu Hanger Steak--each of us were quite pleased with our selection. Our server was personable and helpful and the place has a nice vibe. Check out my photos for more details.

Awesome food

By Nick H |

This place is typical of the Cosmopolitan - stylish, well appointed restaurant backed up by attentive and friendly staff and most importantly - great tasting food. My wife and I shared a couple of dishes including the mixed sushi and fried chicken. Both were excellent. Great cocktails and beer options too. Something for everyone here!

YUM!

By VegasTrvlr |

The food at Blue Ribbon is absolutely delicious! I had the Red Trout, it was the best fish I ever tasted. The skin was crispy and the fish was tender and tasty with the almond brown butter and the mushrooms over a soft egg noodle, it was so good I could not stop eating it! One of my friends had the lobster and my other two friends ordered the fried chicken, everyone in my party loved the food and we cleaned our plates! Here's to another great dinner in Las Vegas! I highly recommend Blue Ribbon!

Top Notch Food and Service

Dinner was amazing and our server Tim provided some of the best restaurant service we’ve had in a long time. He truly made our meal a memorable experience.

Vegas does Fried Chicken!!

By LD865 |

After spending 5 long days in Vegas for work a co-worker recommended Blue Ribbon for the fried chicken - it was delicious!! But we also tried many other delicious entrees/appetizers thanks to the fabulous & fun server, Saylor! Looking forward to our next visit in the future!

Love the atmosphere

By Jason C |

Wife and I love to sit at the bar, enjoy the fantastic fondue, and chat with the bartenders. Service is fantastic, even when we have been with larger groups.

Fantastic Variety of Food and Excellent Service

By Teresa T |

We've been to Blue Ribbon in New York and to the Las Vegas restaurant several times. I took my husband here for Father's Day. The variety of food on the menu is fabulous. There is something for everyone here. We had Matzah Ball Soup, French Onion Soup and Pate for appetizers. We also had the lamb, chicken burger and chilled lobster. Everything was delicious. The service was outstanding - Jason our waiter was fantastic. Dessert was great too!

Single best steak ever...

By Happyonholiday1 |

Okay, so... this place is pricey... Now that’s over with and you have agreed you’re still going to go. Cut out the middle man and order the filet with the truffle butter. It was so good I didn’t want it to ever end. No, seriously I didn’t even want to swallow it. It was that good 😂 I have enjoyed good steak the world round. SA, Australia lots of the States, you name it and I did not know it could be that good. Service impeccable, lighting good, seating good. Just go (and order the filet...)

Open late gets the order.

By j3ffr3y111 |

Open late gets the order. My wife was meeting with me in Vegas and her flight got in late so this was our only option for sit down service. I got the poke bowl and fish, both were surprisingly good. I was happy mostly to have a late option for a quiet dinner!

Good food..ok space and service

By OurFamily312 |

Sushi and filet was excellent. Prepared perfectly. Bread pudding was also killer. Atmosphere is good but not great. Not too much buzz. Our server wasn’t very good. She tried to get us to order all our food before we even got our drinks. Give the high prices, I would probably not go back.

Excellent !!

By Julia R |

A real surprise ! Everything was delicious... we had to start the steak tartar that it’s prepared in a modern beautiful way with a wonderful twist. As a second we chose the paella, not the thin “patella” but the one we always had at home... tasty with lots of big shrimp, squid, chicken and the twist hot chorizo !

Disappointing

By footballwatford123 |

Having heard great things about this place we were very disappointed. Being big fans of fried chicken and trying many that Vegas has to offer this wasn’t the best. My tenders were excellent however the pieces of breast that I have weren’t. Firstly they were side breast pieces and they were very dry. I was expecting better.

Incredible all around

By NonaKim |

We had one more night in Vegas, were pretty worn out but wanted a really nice meal with quality food but not the craziness of most typical Vegas restaurants. This was just the ticket. Splendid service and amazing food. The quality of the martinis, oysters, steaks.....spectacular. Wonder decor. We will come back for sure.

I'd go back for the truffle mashed alone!

By BigMac1983 |

As the title indicates, their truffle mashed potatoes are absolutely phenomenal. I could probably go there, only eat them, and be pleased with my visit. We also enjoy their fried squid a lot. For main entrees, their large ribeye is great and I also enjoy their hanger steak. I'm a big fan of their Old Fashioned as well.

Excellent Food and Service!

By Kimbosold1 |

Had a conference meeting in the Cosmo and we stopped in the Blue Ribbon for a drink and ended up having dinner and we were glad we did! Sat at the bar and had great service and great bartenders. I had the pork chop and my friend had the Filet and both were excellent. Great to find this hidden gem! 👍

Ok for business dinner

By epsharon |

Ate here as part of a work group dinner. Atmosphere of restaurant was nice, kind of dark but not too dark and service was great. Not sure what happened but didn’t get our first course until after we’d been seated for an hour. Salad was good and had nice big chunks of blue cheese. Filet and potatoes was excellent. Wished there was a vegetable. Chocolate Bruno for dessert was phenomenal. Great food but took 2.5 hours for three courses which felt unnecessarily dragged out.

American Brasserie at its finest

By Tammie H |

Wonderful atmosphere, great service and delicious food. Highly recommend it. The selection of fresh seafood is sublime.

Great food and friendly staff

By KatieTags |

We had a great time eating here. There’s so much variety on the menu and my husband and I were both able to get several things we wanted. Great truffle fries although I was a little disappointed with how much extra they charged me to have truffle fries instead of regular fries.

Enjoyable visit! Check it out!

By area51 |

Recently went to dine at Blue Ribbon Brasserie at the Cosmopolitan before attending a show there. Was looking for something not too fine dining, casual and fun and this place was spot on! The menu is what I would consider more 'American' with emphasis on seafood including a seafood 'raw' bar. Oddly enough, we tried their version of a Chinese classic - the 'Pu Pu Platter'! LOL So their version included: a BBQ Chicken Wing, Pork Spare Rib, Sesame Shrimps, Fried Oyster, Chicken Skewer and a Duck Egg Roll. Now it is $20 per person but as you can see a good sampling of different items - the bbq chicken wing is more 'lollipop' style and the sesame shrimp and spare rib were amongst the favorites. We also had the Fried Catfish sandwich and it was good portion sized - nice and crsipy outside and juicy on the inside. We also had one of their signature deserts: Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding featuring Vanilla Ice Cream & Hot Fudge - ideal for sharing. A good music mix was playing and the restaurant had a nice energy - and we enjoyed great and consistent service from Ken. Would highly recommend as a fun, casual option or a place to hang out with friends and enjoy appetizers, raw bar and cocktails. Hope to visit again soon. Check it out!

Excellant Service

By Turtledove8 |

We had an awesome dinner there, however it was the service the was super great and memorable. Joey was our server, he was super knowledgeable about the menu, however his personality and service were outstanding. He had us laughing from the minute we sat down until we left. We enjoyed their wedge salad, steaks were very good and the shrimp pasta dish, excellent. Evan the General Manager also made us feel special and offered us great service too. Overall, this is an upbeat restaurant, very enjoyable and if you are lucky enough to get Joey, a real blast!!

Best place in Vegas for a whole lobster dinner

By Peter K |

We ate dinner here on 4/12/21, it was our third visit to the restaurant. We had the whole lobster dinner ($68 each up $10 from last year), wine and dessert. The dinner was great, the lobster perfectly prepared and shelled, the potato and corn on the cob were also prepared well. The service was very good and the restaurant looked like it did pre covid (you still needed to be masked when you were not eating but the place was busy). Overall, a great choice for dinner

Great dinner

By lucycan |

Table of 6 for a work dinner. We had a wide variety of items. Fried chicken was amazing. Branzino very good. Cocktails perfect. Excellent service.

Fried chicken and a tomahawk — who would have thought?

By rleary13 |

Who would have thought that a high-end steak restaurant at the Cosmopolitan would have the most amazing fried chicken wings you’ve ever eaten? A little bit of spice, tender meat, and perfectly breaded make these wings the BEST I’ve ever eaten!! My wife and I thought our meal could only go “downhill” after those wings; we were, however, mistaken. We shared a tomahawk steak. Wow!! This too was also the best steak I’ve ever eaten before. Perfectly cooked and tender, this steak was a little piece (or big at 32oz) of heaven dropped onto my plate. The service was top notch too! Great place to visit the next time you’re in Vegas.

So damn good

By Dan C |

So many pompous diners around you, but the mood is right and the meal is delicious . Rachel was fantastic . She made many recommendations and was extremely genuine . Get the fried chicken.

A fantastic meal

By cleavetoo |

We happened upon this restaurant while searching for a different establishment. The wait was short so we decided to give it a shot rather than continue searching for our intended destination. What a great decision. First, our server, who’s name I believe was Stephen, was OUTSTANDING. Stephen is the essence of what you want in a server: Excited about the food being served, knowledgeable about almost every dish on the menu, confident enough to explore suggestions with you and help you craft the meal of your dreams, all with a smile and the kind of service you want to take with you everywhere you go. My dinner guest had a steak. It was literally cooked to perfection. Super juicy and tender, a fabulous cut of meat, and delicious. I “thought” I wasn’t as hungry and opted for a tasty bbq ribs appetizer. The order comes with 4 bones and since these appetizer orders tend to be smaller bones, I opted to add a couple of bones so that I could share if needed. The ribs also come with a tiny hibachi grill for carmelizing the sauce! Really done right! We got shareable sides, mash potatoes and gravy and spinach. Wow. Of course, the ribs were completely far and above what I was expecting and I only got through two of them. The mash and gravy was incredibly tasty. There was a distinct flavor of butter and the gravy was not too thick, not too thin, but just right. Super tasty and yet complimentary to the potatos. The spinach wasn’t soggy or over cooked. The dish was lightly sautéed and perfectly flavored. It was a meal and an experience I wish I could have again and again. Too full for desserts. But Stephen convinced me to take a piece of cake to go for later and it also did not disappoint. This restaurant is in the Cosmopolitan. I was staying at the Paris so it was close (just across the street). The atmosphere was comfortable and not too loud and distracting. I don’t have a single negative thing to say about the experience. Eat here. Enjoy!

Beautiful dinner

By nicolaleeds_UK |

Excellent food, lamb cutlets were perfectly cooked pink and silky smooth mashed potatoes, my partner had the filet which was also beautifully cooked.

Excellent Everything

By Gabo R |

Great place to eat, I recommend the stake tartare and the oyster to begin the journey, then I had the Branzino which was nice and my father opted for a bone-in ribeye which he said was immaculate.

Yummmmm

By Gris115 |

Great food and nice cocktails. Service was so-so but food made up for it. Table favorites were steamed clams, sautéed baby squid, and paella royals. Note - the paella royals def feeds more than 4 people...it’s huge!

Great experience in Vegas!!!

By Cristiane L |

My husband loves fried chicken and said it's the best he's ever eaten! We divided the delicious Provençal Tagliatelle Shrimp, well served with shrimp and unmatched crocancia Fried Chicken, pure and tasty vegetables, hot entry bread with soft myolo and crispy shell don't miss out! Look I'm not a bread lover

Top notch service with a bilingual runner

By Vegas Boy |

After browsing around the restaurants in the casino we decided to gave a shot to Blue Ribbon, what a wonderful experience with the chicken and the translation from English to spanish from Jaime the runner, we decided to order the Paella PETITE Royale , jummm good choice, service was fast and efficient, drinks ok , prices just right in the quality of the food , this place have the best service and food in the cosmopolitan will comeback for sure nexts time with the whole family.

Fresh and very tasty with great service

By S Logan |

This place was delicious. I could have eaten most everything on the appetizer list alone! We opted for the sautéed baby squid with was cooked perfectly. The bread was fresh and so good for dipping in the sauce.. I tried their fried chicken, which is their main thing and it did not disappoint! My friend got the branzino and she loved it. If you are in the market for a very American style surf and turf place with great decor and quality service, this is a great choice.

Chicken & Steak from the gods ... PLEASE READ

By Wizardofbrum |

I was with my wife looking at all the restaurants the cosmopolitan had to offer and although everywhere looked good. Blue ribbons menu drew us in , I had the steak and my wife had the fried chicken. We both said this was our best meal Of the trip. The steak was pure fillet and watered in the mouth , I also need to say the mushrooms were out of this world. 10/10 we will be coming back.

Welcoming Staff and great food

By Ian C |

Service was very attentive and food was excellent albeit I chose the Pate as an appetiser which was enough for two delicious but really too much. The staff all seemed to work well together with chefs delivering the food and what appeared to be management helping out clearing and setting tables. Would definitely recommend.

Salmon was small and way over-priced

By NenaOregon |

My husband and I had dinner alone in an almost empty restaurant. We sat in a booth and I felt uncomfortable in that setting. The salmon wasn't very good and it was very expensive for the small piece received. I wasn't impressed.

Amazing place to dine

By Minklehole |

Fried chicken. Oysters. Collards. Sounds crazy but wow it was delicious. Price was fair. Clean and beautiful Server was so nice. Enjoy !

Nice American restaurant

By Ogi0 |

Great steaks, quick service, nice atmosphere. We stopped by for dinner, the place is more expensive than the reviews say...

Great food, phenomenal service!

By Teri V |

We were staying at the Cosmopolitan and chose this restaurant for dinner one evening. It didn't disappoint. Portions are large, paella enough to share. Cheese fondue yummy and they are very helpful with wine selection.

Manager sucks

By maryrose g |

I was disappointed with one of the manager at blue ribbon. He was arrogant and definitely doesnt know good custumer service.we are seated and starting immediately with some cheese fondue some old fashion drinks, order wings only as appetizer and my husband brought 1 slice of pizza from secret pizza, he came to us and let us know that outside food is not allowed. The he say he said it is uncomfortable like i dont care what you do but its not allowed. It will be much better if he offered at least box to go so we can put it aside. And continue eating and let us enjoy our food because we are about to order some steaks too. So he felt like he is kicking as out which disrectful and uncomfortable so we just get check and left immediately without eating what we order. I love blue ribbon and i always drop by there everytime im in vegas and im also guest here at cosmopolitan.

pretty good

By tc3399 |

I ate by myself at the bar, but I liked that the tables were all not right on top of each other. The food was good, I wouldn't go so far to say great though. There are no sides included with the steak pricing, and the sides are all expensive, a simple baked potato should not cost $14. Service was ok, but the restaurant was less than half full so it would have been nice for someone to just check with me at least once to see if I needed anything. And also to not have finished my Pepsi without getting a refill. Overall, it was good enough that i would go back, I just wouldn't say it was an absolute must of places to eat.

Solo diner trying the best of the menu, welcomed with great hospitality.

By Doug M |

Food and cocktails were wonderful. Even more so, the hospitality. Tim, Matt, Sheelah, and Stan, thanks for making me feel welcomed.

The overall experience was wonderful.

By billhollowsky |

The overall experience was wonderful. We had a large group to tend with but all the drinks, appetizers and meals were served timely and in a coordinated fashion. All the dishes were delectable and the service was impeccable. I will be back.

Amazing Food. You will not regret coming here.

By Ashley V |

The fried chicken is to die for. Soooo amazing. We also had the shrimp pasta that was delicious as well. Great great place.

Blue Ribbon Surprised us

By JoshC |

Went to Blue Ribbon inside the Cosmopolitan for my birthday dinner and the food is so good. I heard they were famous for the fried chicken and I see why: It was delicious! My wife had the wagyu burger and it was very good as well. This place is what I would call nice casual. Very good food with a laid back atmosphere.

Not to be missed!! Fabulous Food!!

By dorotheas117 |

This was a delight. After days of on the run with a convention what a pleasure to dine at Blue Ribbon at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. The food was fantastic and the service was perfect. Just enough, not too pushy or too attentive. That perfect service that seems naturally intuitive. This is a not to be missed restaurant!!

Two Great dinners

By Mike T |

High end food with casual atmosphere. Paella was some of the best I've every had. Foie Gras was also delicious. Surprise was the Bone Marrow. Hot peppers were a table favorite. It was so good we actually went back a second time - which we never do.

The Blue Ribbon French twist at the Cosmopolitan

By PascalPicks |

Blue Ribbon brasserie in Las Vegas will ground you just before or after you take your wallet for a spin at the elegant Cosmopolitan Casino Hôtel with a French Flair .on my recent visit there with friends I was received warmly by the staff who is very professional friendly and represent well the Bromberg Brothers sense of hospitality they first created over 30 years ago in New York We started with the freshest east west coast oysters and moved right into the truite meunière Chicken wings Popsicles deep fried , Crème brûlée for dessert all meal with a French Sauvignon Blanc called “Lieu Dit “ excellent. Blair the Bartender suggestion. I will definitely recommend this solid Cosmopolitan sure bet . Bon appétit Pascalpicks *****

I also had the onion soup which is my favorite baked French onion soup to dye! Others had lamb chops, duck, oysters & salad. Everyone was happy with their choices. Matt was our waiter and was excellent. There were others who brought out food, drinks, checked on our satisfaction and cleaned up. Seemed like a well run business. which was delicious. Website allowed us to make a reservation, but when we arrived we were informed the restaurant has been shut down for a while by a hotel employee.

Diverse Menu at the Blue Ribbon

By JBentraveler |

Our large party of 6 decided to stay local and eat at the Blue Ribbon. The restaurant is not the most fancy in Vegas, but offers great food at a fair price. The service was very good and we appreciated the recommendations. The web site needs a little updating as this is much more than a sushi place. We had the grilled squid, fondu, and bone marrow for our appetizers. For dinner we split the paella for 2 which was excellent! The lamb chops that were a healthy portion, the steak filet and the strip steak. We added mashed potatoes, and grilled asparagus.Everything was very tasty! Add in a few bottles of Patricia Green Pinot and we were all set. Definitely worth the money.

Best Ever!

"The food is phenomenal and the staff is exceptional! Hands down, this is my favorite place to go within the USA!!!!!!!!

Bit of everything

By bcheong |

Stayed at cosmo and had dinner here. It’s a menu with pasta, paella, burgers - so maybe a pan western menu. The oysters and sad were ok. Chicken main was juicy. Paella was dry, and different from how the spanish would make it. Good service

Excellent Food & Service

By John W |

Our family of ten enjoyed dining out here. We split the large paella for four with another couple — and it could have the whole table! The very best paella that I have ever ordered ... lobster, clams, shrimp ... so much more than ever expected! Highly recommend!

Excellent

By jomofl |

We were staying at the Cosmopolitan where Blue Ribbon is located (on level 3) so we made a reservation for New Years Eve. My husband ordered the filet with sides of potatoes and sautéed mushrooms. He said all tasted really good. I saw they had paella on the menu and took a chance. It was fabulous. I’m from Miami and grew up eating paella on calle ocho in Little Havana so I know some great paella. This was as good as any I have ever had. I couldn’t stop raving about it. They also feature oysters and other fresh seafood. It’s actually quite a diverse menu. Service was also excellent. Restaurant is upscale but not stuffy. I will be back every time I’m in Vegas.

Excellent Food & Atmosphere

By FWPHIL |

My wife and I decided to try the revamped Blue Ribbon inside The Cosmopolitan. Previously more of a sushi bar, the updated menu DOES NOT disappoint. We started off with some delicious baked oysters. For the main course we had the surf and turf. I have to say the bone-in ribeye and lobster were by far among the best I've ever tasted and were complimented by the savory truffle mashed potatoes. Just writing about it makes my mouth salivate. Serge provided great service during our dinner; very polite and accommodating. Don't skip on the creme brulee for dessert, it's just as delicious as everything else we ate. The after dinner espresso martini was a hit as well 😉 Bon appetit!!!

Fabulous experience

By 206aliceo |

Had dinner and everything was wonderful. I had fried chicken with mashed potatoes and collard greens. I didn’t like the green, very bitter. My husband had escargot and lobster. Chicken had great crispy skin and potatoes had gravy. Lobster was perfect and escargot made the way he liked it, lots of butter and garlic. Prices a little high but typical for Vegas. Atmosphere very nice although a little noisy but that hotel is very loud no matter where you go. If you want a more quiet space, ask for a booth way in the back.

to dry for me

By 705paddy |

not a bad flavour but to dry but I like my chicken juicey over cooked tends to be dry.you get a good amount of food for your money overall I would not go out of my way to go here but if I was passing by and hungry iwould..

Top notch

By BarrettJL |

I’m sure there are a lot of restaurants in Vegas that are overhyped and not about the food or service. This is not one of them! Excellent in both categories.

Very average food for the high price

My husband picked this restaurant after reading its reviews. The food was not bad but not good either. The $38 fried chicken was breaded way too much and the breast meat was too dry. I picked the 5 course meal that was $85 and it was just OK… honestly, I’ve had just as good, or better foods in some of the National chain restaurant. Not worth the money.

Wonderful Ambience and Food

This place was wonderful. Great ambiance, excellent food. I had the branzino and my husband had the steak frites. Both were wonderful. Our server was excellent (I wish I could remember his name). I felt like we got our money's worth and it was one of our favorite meals on our Utah/Vegas vacation.

Vegas Casual

The wagyu hanger steak & lobster were excellent, the branzino was delicious & our server Rachel was friendly, helpful & prompt. The menu is pretty extensive so everyone should be able to find something they like. Wine list by bottle & glass fit the restaurant.

Quality steak and seafood - Get the steak tartare!

By BPROK |

Stopped by for a late night snack. We started with the steak tartare - crazy good - fresh meat, cornichons, capers, smalled cubed beats served with airy waffle chips (could have eaten 3 of these). Also ordered the fried chicken (4 pieces - take some away) and Pu Pu platter (BBQ chicken wing, spare rib, sesame shrimp, fried oyster, chicken skewer and duck egg rolls - heads up - only one of each, all tasty, just wish there was more). Super attentive service - very fair value and excellent flavour.

Went for steak, stayed for fried chicken

By R.G. |

Made my first visit to this place with the intention of ordering a steak. As I sat at the bar, I noticed everyone seemed to be enjoying the fried chicken ($38). Said "what the heck" and ordered it. Probably the best restaurant fried chicken I've ever had. It was four pieces (leg/thigh/breast/wing), collard greens, and mashed potatoes. Greens were o.k., potatoes were good, but the chicken was clearly the star. If your budget allows, I highly recommend.

Delicious and beautiful restaurant.

Delicious and beautiful restaurant. The steamed crab legs and fondue are amazing. Jerome offered next-level service - he’s AWESOME and is a role model for the service industry.

Stellar dining experience

Incredible dining experience. The decor was beautiful. The service was excellent. The bread and butter was great. The fried chicken with the hot sauce on the side. Absolutely the best fried chicken I have ever tasted. I highly recommend this if you like fried chicken. We also got the teriyaki chicken meat balks which my wife thought was too salty but I loved them. My wife didn’t enjoy her pork chops unfortunately. She felt like it was artificial from the flavor, sear lines being too perfect, and the overall look of it. Our dessert was also excellent. We got the chocolate chip bread pudding and a special that’s not on the menu which was an ice cream filled donut. Both desserts were incredible. Highly recommend blue ribbon.

Nothing to write home about, other than the prices

Food was fine. There wasn’t anything wrong with the food, it just wasn’t anything imaginative or amazing. I didn’t see much on the menu that was vegetarian. It seemed crazy expensive, although I recognize that this is due to location. I had their specialty of fried chicken. I don’t normally order fried chicken, but nothing was striking my fancy because the menu was so boring (steak, 1/4 roasted chicken...). I am not into slabs of meat generally. Fried chicken for one person is $34 (or $38 if you want all white meat 😂) - in the normal world you could take your whole family out for equally good fried chicken and all the fixings. Potatoes may have been homemade but I am not convinced about this. The best thing about this restaurant is that it wasn’t overly noisy like a lot of places. My large group was able to have good conversations over dinner. This is actually a pretty rare commodity these days, in my opinion, and really the only thing that kept me from giving this a two-star rating. But I would not go back.

Inspired by the New York original

The Blue Ribbon Brasserie in Las Vegas was built on the vision originated 25 years ago in New York City's SoHo at the original Blue Ribbon, known as the restaurant "where chefs go to eat." Located at 3708 South Las Vegas Boulevard in the Boulevard Tower of the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, the Las Vegas version of Blue Ribbon draws inspiration from the bustling energy of the Las Vegas Strip. Blue Ribbon Las Vegas is part saloon, part oyster bar, part American eatery and part international culinary tour. It offers the original SoHo eatery's long-time favorites such as Beef Marrow and Oxtail Marmalade and Pan Roasted Skate with Crispy Potatoes, Shrimp and Bacon and a multi-tiered shellfish and caviar extravaganza served over ice and other fresh delicacies from the raw bar. Open from 5 to midnight daily, it is an entertaining experience for one and all. My wife and I started with escargot, BBQ pork ribs, shrimp cocktail and cream of tomato soup. By the way, did you know that shrimp cocktail was invented on the Las Vegas Strip? For our main course, we had Branzino with arugula salad and salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus. For dessert, we shared a big banana split with three flavors of ice cream and three toppings and lots of whipped cream. Calories, anyone?

Felt like I was on hidden camera/prank show

Walked up to have dinner for 3, no reservation, restaurant is half empty and it's 7pm on a Tuesday. "Can we have a table for 3?" *looks at seating chart* "We don't take walk-ins, I can make you a reservation at 7:30 for this table right here." *gestures towards table next to bar* "Can we have it now since it's empty?" "we don't take walk-ins sir, I can make you a reservation for 30 minutes for now for that table." LOL

Great ambience and relaxed setting, located in the cosmopolitan hotel - comfortable seating with quick and friendly service. Escargots were great and the rack of lamb - medium well was quite appetizing. My son had the Sweet and Spicy Catfish - not enough spice if you’re coming from the Caribbean and a bit on the sweet side. Wife had lobster 7/10. Overall good experience!

Top Notch

By DreaLovesToTravel |

The food and service were top notch. We were able to get a last minute table for my sister’s birthday. Angelo and staff were very professional and knowledgeable. I had the salmon, asparagus and mashed potatoes. Highly recommended food experience. They even brought ice cream out for my sisters bday and sang to her.

Nice Restaurant (away from the hustle and bustle) with Great Service

By valerie135 |

The salmon was fabulous. The people were amazing. The service was fast and efficient. The free anniversary ice cream was delectable. Love this place so much. The only recommendation we would have is a more reasonably priced steak selection. $68 for an 8 ounce fillet is on the high end. We will be returning.
