Although we live quite near, we had never tried this restaurant. We ordered one taco salad with grilled prawns and one with calamari. The salads were small with a lot of lettuce, a few pieces of tomato, and some chips on the side. The "prawns" looked like a few small shrimp and the calamari was only a few strips. There was a small of amount of sour cream buried deep in the lettuce and some pinto beans. A little salsa topped it off. The result was a soupy mixture without much taste or texture. Perhaps some of the other items were better, but one would expect a taco bar to excel at their specialty. We have other good Mexican restaurants in the area so we will not be returning to this one.

We'd previously eaten at 2 other Armory (near the Space Needle) restaurants before deciding to try Blue Water Taco Grill. We were enticed by the Happy Hour specials that included entrees, beer and margaritas. Each was only $5. I had the Barbacoa Street Tacos and a beer. The taco plate was served with 6 small tortillas made into 3 tacos, with onion and salsa topping. My husband had a cheese quesadilla, which came with pico de gallo and guacamole. since he didn't want either of these, I used them with my barbacoa to make 6 small tacos. Yum! My husband enjoyed his quesadilla and (weak) margarita. We enjoyed our meal outdoors in view of the Space Needle, in perfect weather. While not a huge meal, the experience was great. We saw other families dining with children and enjoying themselves...and we would definitely return.

Reasonability priced for good, quick Mexican food. I ordered 2 large tacos and everything was very fresh.

Breakfast burrito is super good you can not go wrong with anything you order

Just needed to grab Some quick food from a place that looked like it would provide quick takeaway. Location was nice so I stayed instead. Tasty food and good portions.

If you like cheapest brand of STALE chips on your nacho's then you might like it here, But I was completely disappointed. For a Mexican restaurant you should have a great plate of natchos! But they just put stale chips on a plate and threw it in the MICROWAVE. For $10.00 the cheese should of least have been layered and should of been completely melted. BIG DISSAPOINTMENT.

Hit up the Blue Water Taco for lunch with a colleague. Paid $6.50 for a chicken burrito with rice, beans, pico de gallo and guacamole. It was amazing, I plan on returning to explore the menu further.

One thing I love about my neighbourhood there isn't many fast food chains. We do have a Taco Bell/KFC that's about it. So when I need fast Mexican food this is where I go. The food is very close to being traditional and is very good.

We ate here after spending the day at the Seattle Center. The nachos and quesadilla were both very good. The margarita was decent, too. I'd eat here again.

Visited while in Seattle. Dinner was great and very authentic fresh costal Mexican style. There are daily specials and a complete menus on the big chalk board over the grill. Order cafeteria style and get exactly what you want on your dish. Seating is limited but at 6 pm we got right in. The tacos and the house plate were both great. Lots of ice cold beer on hand too!

I don't know which came first, Chipotle Mexican Grill or Blue Water Taco Grill, but the idea is the same. They have an extensive menu and the longer you stand in line to order the more items you see. They make the food from fresh ingredients and offer lots of options. Your order is made as you watch. My family had a nice meal and it was fun to engage the cook and servers. We will go back.

Visiting Seattle for a few nights and landed here for a quick bite on our way back from Seattle Center to hour hotel nearby. Fresh and DELICIOUS!!

Absolutely horrible experience! Ordering drinks was awkward because you order at a counter with no line of site to the bar. Menu shows only beer and Margaritas, but we saw plenty of the standard offerings (vodka/gin/whiskey). Pre-mixed Margs arrive in plastic cups and taste like sweet and sour mix out of the bottle. Minutes later watch someone pour a full 1.75 bottle into the pre-mix dispenser. At that point asked if we could possibly get another based on the revision. We were totally blown off. Left our full drinks on the bar and left.

I liked everything about the Blue Water Taco Grill. It was located less than a block from my hotel (the Mediterranean Inn) and was easy to spot with it's bright paint. With all the food choices nearby, this one called out to me. Ordering was fast and easy and everyone in there was friendly and worked to keep the customers happy. After ordering, you are given choices for salsa and sides. Everything was very fresh, too! Once you are handed your plate, you pick your drink (I went with a bottle of Dos Equis) and pay at the register. I opted to sit out in the back patio area. I had a salmon taco platter that was delicious. It was messy, but they had wet naps for that. Also, after you eat and put your dishes & trash in marked bins, there is a sink right in the hall on your way back in where you get to wash your hands as well as a mirror where you can check for bits of queso fresco in your teeth. :-D I would DEFINITELY recommend this place!!! YUM!

Great food! Delicious, fresh and excellent value. This was a great find in the Queen Anne area and we will be back.

The food was excellent. My wife and I stopped in here for a quick breakfast and we were not disappointed.

We sat on a patio behind the main dining area. Had to walk thru a narrow walkway by bathrooms to get back there, but it was quiet and somewhat secluded. Enjoyed the food & experience. They did not serve domestic beer.

Was stating at a hotel right near this place, so decides to try it based on reviews I read. I think we were two of four people in the place. I'm Latino and love Mexican food, so am always looking for good authentic Mexican food. This food was good, but I should have known things were iffy when my wife ordered enchiladas and the woman built them like a taco and by pouring enchilada sauce on them they were suddenly enchiladas. Really?? I had a chile verde burrito - which was good, but seemed to lack a bit of flavor. I have to give them props for their salsa. Had the spicy and it had a great flavor and left my mouth feeling the sting. Overall, it was decent food, but just seemed more like Acapulco than mom's!

Blue Water Taco came highly recommended but mexican food is so abundant we didn't prioritize this restaurant during our visit. What a mistake! Everything we ordered was fast and delicious. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area, an unexpected bonus. If I'm ever back in Seattle I'm skipping the other taco/burrito places and coming back here.

VERY good! Its a little hole in the wall but dont let that fool you. It was so fresh. I had the chicken tacos with extra spicy sauce. no complaints

This is a mom & pop fast food Mexican food place. There was a variety of menu choices a la carte or full dinners. The food was prepared quickly and was good. There were 8 in our group so there were many meals to put together quickly. There are booths and tables available.

We were staying in a nearby hotel where the front desk clerk recommended this restaurant for a quick lunch. No service you pick up your food at the counter where they cook the food in front of you. Must say it was fresh quick and very tasty

Blue Water is Seattle's version of a coastal Mexican style restaurant and it does not disappoint. This was a first for me at this location, but the second time in all. The tacos and burritos here are very good. Better than some of the similar national chains, but a bit below some of the others. Prices are very reasonable. Burritos are a fairly good size and should be enough for a good lunch. Lots of choices for meats, seafood, and even salsas. The tacos are good here too even though at the time I had them there may have been too much on them and are a bit messy, but tasty nonetheless. Blue Water has about 7 or 8 locations around the downtown Seattle core with various hours so make sure they are open. I think there are a few that are lunch only, but some are open for dinner. If you want a nice alternative to the bigger chains, Blue Water is a great go to place.

We really enjoyed everything about this place! Atmosphere was great. Food was great. Price was great! I will return! A+!

The fish tacos here are amazing! But they are not cheap! Atmosphere is great, service is very good, a huge selection of tacos, filled with fish and not so much filler, you will definately come back here!

My husband and I stopped by this spot for dinner and margaritas. We enjoyed both. There are vegetarian and vegan options available. The margaritas were very good. You can have a meal and drinks and not break the bank. It's reasonably priced. The only fault I found was the system of ordering and picking up food was a little confusing....got it down now though for next time!

This restaurant is going 'green'. Loved the tacos. We sat outside where we could see that it was surrounded by a multi-cultural mix of ethnic restaurants. I'm glad we tried this Mexican food and you will enjoy it too.

We ate here at least 3 times while the Dota2 International was going on at the Key Arena. I love that they are flexible with toppings for the burritos and salads. Great takeaway food. I especially liked the chopped salad.

Service wasn't great, not bad but not great. Food was really good, again not great but good. It was within walking distance of the hotel we stayed at and decided to eat there before catching ride to the cruise ship.

We just moved here from the East Coast and were craving authentic Mexican food. This spot really fit the bill. It's also kid friendly and affordable. I had the fish tacos which were terrific. You can have the fish fried or grilled.

This place is great, has some tasty authentic cuisine and is right up the street from our favorite hotel...I love being able to stop in casually and have a good meal. Walking Queen Anne is the best!

This cafe is in the food court up by the Space Needle. The food was good if different from TexMex. The marquaritas were excellent. Very casual.

This restaurant, which is located inside the Northwest corner of the Seattle Center House, has a friendly staff and offers both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages along with a good selection of Mexican dishes. This is a fast food place and set up like a buffet except they serve you basic combinations and then they add extras like sour cream and guacamole in the amounts you choose. The food is pretty good and the servers are very friendly. They could use an extra person to bus and wipe down tables because clean tables were hard to find but otherwise, the experience was fine.

Just a short walk from Mediterranean Inn. Polite staff who quickly fixed our togo order so we could eat it on the hotel rooftop. Fish tacos were tasty!

Grilled Steak Burrito

We were staying at the Sheraton around the corner and just wanted a quick diner-style breakfast. We were really surprised to find that the Blue Water Taco Grill serves a great breakfast. The food was fresh and the portions big. Delicious! We can't wait to test out the rest of the menu. Highly recommended!

I had the calamari bowl and the calamari was some of the best I've ever had! Friendly staff and tasty ingredients. We sat out on the patio and really enjoyed our first meal (lunch) in the city.

This is a great place to get a quick meal before or after going to the Uptown Theater or the Seattle Center. In nice weather, there is a patio where it is fun to have a drink with friends and get away from the city noise.

The Mexican scramble- 3 eggs with all the mexicali toppings and salsa, 2 corn tortillas- all for $4.20. Nice staff, fast service. Can't complain. In fact, a wild cheer!

You stand in line to order your food and its made while you are standing there. Tacos were ok. The Mexican Flan was very good.

We stopped in here, whilst looking for a Mediterranean place. It looked good, smelled good and appeared to be full of locals. We were not disappointed! I got the Salmon Taco plate and my wife got the Chicken. We both loved it, my salmon was Fresh and perfectly cooked. Homemade salsas and Guacamole were excellent. The Rice and beans , normally filler in a lot of places, was also excellent. There apparently are multiple locations of this eatery, we visited the Queen Anne Blvd by the Seattle Center location. Highly recommended.

After our trip to the top of the Space Needle, my husband, grandson and I enjoyed a very good lunch in the Armory building. There are several places to eat there, and our grandson made a great choice by picking Blue Water. You line up at a counter to order your food, and watch as everything is assembled exactly as you want it. I had the chipotle shrimp taco plate, soft tacos with nicely spiced shrimp, beans and rice and added a side of guacamole -- all was delicious. Our grandson really liked his kid's meal of cheese quesadilla, rice and beans and added sour cream and guacamole. My husband said his carnitas were great. A nice respite on a very hot day, and then it's fun to walk around the armory a bit and/or catch the monorail to downtown.

Stopped to eat because of the name! Great choice! The food was wonderful portions were large staff friendly.

We go to BWTG for the fish specials (salmon and tilapia) and find them to be a great plate of food. Plate comes with grilled fish, grilled veggies, rice beans, salsa, etc. Tasty and a good bargain. The HH margaritas are just OK. Service is your standard order at the grill type, nothing special, but adequate. (note that most of the photos shown for this listing are for another location, not the QA locale.

Almost always stop in for quick Taco's or other Mexican food before a Key Arena or McCaw Hall concert. Good food, just a few blocks away snd you csn get in snd out quickly. It's become a tradition!

Nice, fresh, wonderful tacos. I could eat here 18,000 times.

Apparently there are several locations in the Seattle area but we visited the location on Queen Anne, which is within walking distance of the Seattle Center. You order at the counter, cafeteria style. 2 of us had grilled fish tacos and they were excellent. Lots of toppings to choose from. I was worried that the salsa, pico de gallo and lime sauce would be overwhelming but the combo was excellent. Our daughter had fish tacos as well but she chose the breaded fish and they cooked it in the microwave. That was the one thing that kept me from giving them an excellent rating. Our picky son had chicken nachos and loved them. There are several salsas, medium to hot and a cilantro salsa, to choose from. It might have been the most affordable meal I've eaten in Seattle. Highly recommend and will definitely go back!

After spending more time than I cared to in downtown Seattle, I meandered uptown and discovered a very desirable ambience. Furthermore, as a Texan, I was craving el sabor from home. And then I wondered upon the Blue Water Taco Grill. This little joint nailed it. I ordered a custom prepared burrito bowl with grilled veggies and camarones and it was delish! Fresh jamaica tea, música mexicana and a friendly chat in Spanish. I got a food fix that’ll carry me back Texas with a smile. ¡Mil Gracias!

This great taco place was within walking distance from our hotel, the Mediterranean Inn, and was recommended by the concierge. So glad we stopped by. The food was amazing, the staff helpful & the prices reasonable. My daughter had the carnitas street tacos and I had the carnitas taco plate with pinto beans. Delicious!

So this place advertises that they have passion and pride in their service and food. Unfortunately on the day we tried them, that staff was out to lunch and the ones who were there could have had more interest in anything else, but being there. They were totally NOT interested in taking orders and threw food together like it was garbage...so actually not to far from it and cheated us on the portions...food was bland, stale and devoid of sustenance. Won't be going there next time we're in Seattle!

The food was good. It wasn't spectacular Mexican, but more like cafeteria-style. Good value for the price especially in a tourist area.

I ate here while I was visiting in Seattle, and I'll admit, I was a bit hesitant. I'm a super picky eater, especially when it comes to Mexican food. I had a hard time picking out what to eat, but I went with the chicken nachos, they were soooo good, I had to force myself not to eat them all or I would have gotten sick off of them! One plate of nachos is defintately enough for two people to share. Very good, next time I'm in seattle, I'll totally be eating here!!

We had breakfast. I had the breakfast burrito. Fresh ingredients and salsa. The flour tortilla was light and tasty. My wife had the Mexican scramble with corn tortillas. It was fresh and wonderful. I wish we were able to return for lunch but we have a cruise ship to catch. Definitely would come! Try it! Reasonable prices

Excellent Ribs and atmosphere.

We stayed at the Downtown Hilton & needed to find a reasonably priced meal near by. This was recommended to us and it was good. My only complaint was that my soft tacos were spicy when nothing in the description said it would be. The flavors were fresh and yummy.

Stick with the tacos, they are yummy. Options for chicken, fish, steak, etc. Great house margarita, cute little outside area out back. We always eat here when we are in the area.

Basic amazing Mexican food calamari was excellent and tender. Get a bowl so that you don't fill up on shell. Hot salsa is great

Fresh, authentic, clean and great value. A great, non-fussy bite to eat in an adorable venue with friendly staff.

I was out of town for a few weeks, and was devastated to see upon my return to Lower Queen Anne that Taqueira Jalisco on 1st Ave N had closed down. You could go in there, it was cool and shady, order and eat leisurely, watch the television, munch on the endless nacho chips, make small talk with the staff... I shall miss it so much. And the twin owners --David and Danny; Geraldo, and the other friendly wait staff. So, in desperation I went to the Blue Water Taco Grill on Queen Anne Avenue. Very different. The guys behind the counter were nice. Prices are okay. I did not realise that by simply ordering a ground beef burrito with everything on it, I would get it all in one roll, in a paper bowl container. Even though I said twice that I was eating in. I would have preferred the rice, and the beans served separately. It was difficult to manipulate; well, it was difficult to extricate from the aluminium foil into the bowl in the first place. Of course I used a knife and fork, and wondered if it were supposed to be eaten by hand. They advised that next time I should ask for the Asado Plate. They are nicely described and reasonably priced on the menu. The food tasted fine, and as I say the guys were nice. It was well patronised. But it lacked everything that reflects how I described my former tex-mex local, i.e., Taqueira Jalisco. Ah well, changes upon changes....

Everything was cooked before your eyes and it was almost like a subway setup. A bit pricy for fast food. The tacos are recommended!

We were staying in the Queen Anne area while visiting to watch some baseball over a weekend and finally decided to stop by the Blue Water. We were very glad we did. The dining area isn't large but the seating is adequate & comfortable. During the summers the front doors and windows are open giving the dining area a "fresh" quality. In the back there is a small patio that during the summer months is very popular. The Happy Hour features a small nacho with a several 8 oz Coronitas in a bucket of ice. On a warm day beer and nachos hit the spot.

Got the Tostadas there. Not bad!! And their Orchata is pretty good too. Reaonably priced.

Went here randomly while looking in the area for places to eat. Seemed like one of the cheaper places to eat (it was not the cheap in the end). The food was good and they have a great backdoor patio that was great to just have a drink, relax, and take in the air. Overall it was a good place, I think they accidentally overcharged me, but it was still an ok price. I would recommend it, but watch them as they enter it in the cash register as I think they press too many buttons ;)

We loved the food here and the portions were great

After attending an event at Seattle Center, we were hungry & thirsty so headed into the Armory to grab something. Happy surprise was the Blue Water Taco Grill. One of us was gluten-free, one vegetarian. I ordered the vegan quesadilla which was simply excellent. Just right amount of cheese, fresh tortilla and filling was Field Roast grilled with seasonings. Delicious...quick, fresh tasting and filling. The beans were just right. Lots of food for the money. I definitely recommend this place. Added bonus was the Seahawks game and we were winning when I left.

Stopping in here was sporadic for us, and we were a little skeptical, but holy mackerel was it ever worth it. I had a burrito and my partner had enchiladas, and oh goodness me they were wonderful. Staff were quite welcoming, and had a lot of patience when I had no idea what to order. A wonderful place for meals or snacks, depending on how hungry you are. The flavors though, oh geez, we are for sure going to try to go again some day!

The restaurant is open and inviting but busy in its decorations. The food was great! The carnitas was very good and big. Clearly, this was a neighborhood favorite. Three generations were working together.

No, no, no, no, no. I'm pretty sure they heated up frozen fish sticks for my "fish tacos." The least you can do is head two blocks over to Taco Del Mar.

Loved the breakfast tacos and burritos. We were at the Sheraton Seattle downtown and it was across from our hotel. Had difficulty with ordering just because of the language barrier, but that's OK. The food was delicious and they corrected any mistakes. Would definitely recommend it as a local chain to try with very fresh food.

6 pm on a Friday and with no customers in the place should have been a clue. Food was bland, and the corn tortillas for the tacos tasted dried out and stale. Guessing they might be better during lunch when there is more food going out the door - probably fresher earlier in the day.

The food was great, fast, and well priced. I ordered a salmon taco which was delicious. My husband got the quesadilla special and enjoyed it too! There is a choice between black and pinto beans which is nice for a fast place. The restaurant is not air-conditioned which only matter in Seattle in the middle of a heat wave, so we ate outside in the shade which was also nice.

There was a queue out of the door at lunchtime, so I figured it must be good, and it was. At the front of the queue, you make your order and then you walk along the little production line as they put it together for you. That means you get to say exactly what you want in your burrito, or whatever you order. Result - perfectly delicious lunch. Enormous, filling and not too expensive either.

We were staying at the Inn down the street and it was Cinco De Mayo so we decided to pop in for some tacos. They did not disappoint. We each had two tacos and left fill. The ingredients are fresh and they prepare right in front of you. We had beef and prawn tacos. Both were excellent but I favored the prawn one. Eat here you won’t be disappointed!

I work in the area and frequent Blue Water Taco Grill several times per week. The line is sometimes out the door, but the food is worth the wait. The burritos are excellent - they offer several types of meats and have both black and pinto beans. Everything is freshly made for you as you walk down the line and select the ingredients you prefer. They have at least five freshly made salsas too - the hot is my favorite, and it can be pretty darn hot! If you're in the area and looking for a big phatty burrito for lunch, this is your spot. They also have a great patio out back and do happy hour!

Whenever we drive thru Seattle we make a side trip here. If you want a great burrito or fish taco check it out

The beer is very cold! Have a Corona and the big Burrito! It was nice and close to my Hotel and not too far away from the event that I was attending each day, the NW Arcade and Pinball show.

This place was so delicious and so cheap we ate lunch here for three days straight. Each day we left feeling extremely full and satisfied. Now back in Canada every "Mexican" place we go we compare it unfavourably to blue water taco. Best burritos I've ever eaten.

Ate here again after a two-year absence or so. I had a fish special plate -- very good. My friend had fish tacos -- they were OK. Rice and beans are good. They will hold back cilantro if you ask -- always necessary for me! Actually, I'd rate the place at 3.5 stars if possible but I'll bump it up to 4 because of the people working there.

Okay, here's the difference between Blue Water and Taco Del Mar. When you go through the serving line at Taco Del Mar it's kinda like chow line in an Army mess hall...complete with 2-3 semi-robotic grunts behind the formica counter ladelling out pre-measured cups of meat goo, beans and rice onto your tortilla. If they made you drop and do 25 push-ups before you could get in line, the analogy would be complete. When you go through the serving line at Blue Water the first thing you notice is that the menu is way broader. So you order and notice that they're immediately putting fresh ingredients on the grill. Then you notice the basket of chips in front of you along with cups of various salsas. So during the short wait for your fresh ingredients to cook on the grill you taste a few and decide which flavor of freshly made salsa you want today. Next they custom build your burrito (or whatever your order may be) offering a lot more options than TDM including fresh chopped herbs and veggies. No push-ups. No robots. And for a moment during each visit, you can almost imagine you're at a Taqueria in Merida, or Zihuatanejo, or Tulum...or...sigh...

We had a nice simple dinner here - the food was extremely reasonably priced and tasty. It's obviously popular in the neighborhood as there was a lineup that formed as we ate. Good margs at a cheap price too! A great stop before taking in a flick at the Uptown Cinema.

Great fresh pinto beans with grilled shrimp tacos with delicious green and red salsa for only $8.00. How can you go wrong for dinner here? Everyone was super friendly and the bar and booths were quaint and I could people watch in my booth by the entrance and window to the street. I was a little hesitant about spending a dinner here in the berg of Seattle but it was super good and I am glad I did. Fun, fun, fun and tasty too.

This a was a great find just a short distance away from the tourist trap that is the Space Needle. The tacos (steak and Chorizo) were excellent. Add a $3 margarita and lunch was complete.

Being from southern California I like to try regional Mexican restaurants. They have very good Salmon tacos. Wasn't able to find out which region the were from but this location in the Queen Anne region of north Seattle is worth a try.

Servers were mediocre. Food was the same. Plastic utensils sucked. It filled the void but it wasn’t as good as it looked. Cheap plastic utensils makes it hard to eat. I’m not rushing back to do it all again.

Ask for Arturo! He is great and makes you feel like an old friend! Food is delicious! We had the steak tacos and a veggie burrito. Tastes like home!

There is no option to choose the armory location on Trip Advisor yet so this is as best as I can do. The food was very good. They had both Pacifico and Negra Modelo on tap which is always a good beer option. The street tacos are just that, Mexican street tacos. Had the Carnitas Tacos that were pretty good.

Average mexican restaurant that is high in priced compared to the small portions. They give you plastic ware to eat with and when you are done you put your trash in different bins. You order at the counter and sit down, there is no waiting on you.

We were tired. And just wanted some good food..not ambience and high dollar, stumbled into the joint, it was great !! Food was fresh, service very fast ! Quiet, relaxing.

Great place for Mission-style burritos and other Mexican food. Try out the back patio. The horchatas are pretty refreshing too.

Just what I had in mind. The plate had beans, rice, four tortillas, cheese, beef, lettuce and pico de gallo. Added some avacado. Delish!

Close to hotel and good food. Good sized portions, made freshly in front of you. Reasonable price. Would visit again

Ate at the Blue Water near the monorail at about 20 minutes before closing. While I could tell most of what I ordered had been sitting there a while, it was still pretty good!! I absolutely loved the vegan chorizo taco! Corn tortilla, fresh cilantro and some raw onion! Mmm! The lime fresca(?) styled drink was great as well! A bit sweet, but after adding a little water, was perfection.

We stumbled in here looking for dinner before a concert at the Key Arena. Just a quick half mile/mile walk from the Key, we got a large dinner and beers before the concert. Everything is made to order so the chef waits for you to tell him what you want. We both ordered the salmon tacos-delicious! We also got a few beers (although overpriced) was still nice to have a alcoholic beverage with our dinners. Overall, great family run business with custom made dinners. Glad we went to an early dinner as the line to order as we left was approximately 10 people long.

I was in the mood for tacos..first I went to pesos down the street, but they don't serve food between 3 and 4 & it was 3:05..we were starving and couldn't wait! We walked down the street and saw this place, and boy i'm glad we did!! The beef tacos were so delicious and prices were very reasonable!! I will definitely be returning!

Stopped in for breakfast. Fresh, fast, friendly. Burrito with bacon, eggs, chesse, salsa and on the side an order of beans and potatoes for 6bucks. Great taste and they make it all fresh as you order. A real find.

This is an informal hole-in-the-wall with delicious fresh food and excellent service. I was at a convention in Seattle and the location is close to the convention center but without the inflated prices, long lines, and bad food in the center itself. I went back for many meals, eating mostly fish tacos (nice fresh fish) and breakfast burritos. It is truly a great find. The only thing that disappointed me is that they are closed on weekends, so I couldn't enjoy a final meal there.

Stopped in because it was close to the Mediterranean Inn. I had the Al Pastor tacos and they were phenomenal. All three men working there were friendly and kind. I will go again when I return to the city.

We weren't sure what to expect as it seemed like a Chipotle Grill with a different name. My husband had a burrito and I had a special with Chorizo and it was all very delicious. The service at the counter was great. We did sit at a table by the door in November and it was very cold outside and the door did not shut all of the way all of then time and the draft was very uncomfortable. We would definitely eat here again!

I got their special. The flat grilled tilapia and it was delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone. Very fresh food, good flavors and kind service.

We went down to the Space Needle and then decided to grab a bite. We decided to grab a taco each. They were affordable and loaded with fresh toppings. I had tge shredded beef... cant recall the name but it was spiced and just delicious. Fresh ingredients and they loaded them up. Great meal. Great price. The Armory is a cool spot to see. Live entertainment. Was worth the stop. If you like Mexican food and fresh ingredients.... give it a try :)

We went to the Armory in Seattle Centre, looking for a quick lunch. The Mexican-style food was tasty and fresh, gave us lots of choices in our meal, and was inexpensive. The place was not very busy and it was a clean and comfortable place to eat. There was a band playing in the Armory and it felt like a good choice.

That's exactly what I thought wen I walked in, and pretty much the experience I got. Although, nobody said "Welcome to Blue Water Taco Grill!" Although, that's pretty much an unnecessary mouthful. What was a necessary mouthful was the Prawn Burrito. It was awfully good, and I did it with the smokey chipotle salsa. Blue Water Taco Grill was a good, quick place for lunch in the heart of Downtown Seattle.

This restaurant is excellent for a quick and delicious meal. The seafood is so delicious and the ingredients are really fresh. It's great on a budget too.

Cheap and good (especially if you like spicy)

I popped in here for a late lunch by myself and had the chicken taco plate. I was being friendly to the staff but did not get any response back. I felt very uncomfortable sitting there by myself. The food was OK but nothing special. The chicken that was put on the tacos came from a big bowl of slop. There was way too much liquid which made eating the tacos very messy. The food was not very warm either so I had to eat quickly. Not a problem as I was desperate to get out.

Takeout or eat in, very tasty and great value. Don’t let the basic decor put you off...recommended for a quick meal.

The girl behind the counter was plain rude. Her colleagues were nicer. Food was horrible. Mexican food should be full of flavour and can be so tasty but in stead we got tasteless plates... Definitely won't recommend going here.

My wife and I had lunch here on September 14. Together we had 3 tacos, 2 burritos and a soft drink for $19.65 We ordered at the counter similar to Chipotle - we watched them create exactly what we wanted. It was fresh, authentic, tasty Mexican food in a comfy laid back environment. It was just plain fun.

Great food and quick service and affordable. They have a couple of tables out side.

Great place to have some very good food. It was recommended by a hotel guest, very good experience. The food was delicious and the cost was reasonable. A big plus was it is less than a block where we were staying. The staff is fantastic!

Busy day in Seattle needed a quick bite to eat to get us through the day. Spoke with a customer outside the grill, said he eats here all the time, some of the best tacos in town. He was correct...damn good tacos at a reasonable price. will eat here again if I'm by this way in the future.

If you want Mexican, in a quaint cozy location before or after your visit at the Seattle Center, this is the place. It's much better than an over-rated past it's prime greasy burger joint across the street. The place can get crowded, but the prices are very good.

Clean, delicious mexican food!! Very reasonable pricing. 1/2 block away from our hotel, the Mediterranean Inn.

My husband and I moved to Seattle a few years ago amd wondered if we would be able to find good Mexican food, and then we discovered Blue Water! We enjoy their food so much, one (or both) of us eats here on a weekly basis. Their ingredients are fresh, and the food is always delicious.

I had a shrimp burrito. I had the "Deluxe" which included cheese, guacamole and sour cream for an extra dollar. The portion of shrimp was modest. Overall the burrito was satisfactory, but, with a Negra Modelo, set me back almost $15. It doesn't seem to me that I should have to pay extra for cheese on a burrito. Nothing wrong with the food, but it wasn't brilliant and it was pricey for what I got. Doubt I'll return.

The service was kind and fast and was a walk through and order setup. I had the veggie taco salad, which was decent but my husband got the veggie burrito and it was delicious. If I were to go back I would for sure order that instead. The cookies that are for sale in the line were just ok, not really worth buying. We also got nachos and loved them! It's cheap, good, and casual.

Stopped off for a quick bite while waiting for a movie to start. The service was friendly and the person behind the counter did a nice job of building the burrito. But after the friendliness and the preparation, the food itself tasted "flat" and unflavourful. It sort of hit the spot.

Two of us recently tried Blue Water Taco Grill for breakfast on the recommendation of the concierge at our hotel. It's a Mexican restaurant that seems to specialize primarily in lunch (and maybe dinner) so I was a little hesitant, especially when I walked in and saw that the dining area was pretty modest - one of those places where you order and pay at the counter. We were pleasantly surprised! They started cooking our food as we were ordering it with all fresh ingredients. I had breakfast tacos and my husband had a breakfast platter with eggs, pancakes and sausage. We were both happy and full by the end of our meal. Hot, cooked to order breakfast at a good price!

Great food, quick service, great price, small outdoor seating area at the back. Staff work very hard.

Just around the corner from the Mediterranean hotel. Enjoyed my tacos and a nice beer after a long day of travel!

Very reasonable, very fresh and very tasty. We ate here twice, once for breakfast and once for lunch. Would have eaten here again, but closed on Sunday.

For great Mexican food, served by pleasant staff, in a convenient and quick format, make sure you stop by this little place. We loved everything we tried; it was all tasty and fresh, and the value for money is exceptional. Any of their burritos or quesadillas is great-large portions and yummy!

Ok. So I hate beans. I try to choke them down when I can, but I usually never get more than a few forks full. At Blue Water Taco Grill, I ate all my beans and almost licked my plate. I love Mexican food and this place really delivers on taste. The food is a five out of five, with an assortment of meat, meat combos, and vegetarian options. I'm salivating right now thinking about it. The place is sort of a hole in the wall, so don't bring a first date here unless they are into that sort of scene. It's not terrible, it's just not super clean or a suit and tie kind of place. What it is, is great food made fast and to your order. Tons of options. It can get busy and crowded at lunch so plan accordingly.

Went for a quick dinner, and were not disappointed. Great prices and great food. A real taste of Mexico.

If you are near by key arena and need a place to grab a bite look no further. The pork and pulled beef were amazing.

Was in Seattle on holiday with wife. Plugged into app looked at reviews from fellow trip adviser users for nearest to me at the time came up with this great place authentic mex food. wife and I r of Mexican descent and from San Diego so we know mex food. Good food great tortas. thanks for the recommendations

True Mexican, the food tastes good and the prices are reasonable. One tip, order one main meal and 2 plates. The servings are BIG!

We rested in the Armory during the Folk Festival and found this place to have great chips, salsa, and guacmole but the star was the packed shrimp ceviche with just the right amount of heat and lots of shrimp

While at the space needle, we ate here. Very fresh and flavorful tacos, fresh lemonade, excellent Spanish rice...great price and friendly service.

Very nice tasty food.Drove from Edmonton Alberta , Visited Vancouver island snd drove to Seattle .The owner was so helpful and would advise on our request.Took a picture with owner .Do amicable.Recommend.

Stopped for a quick bite after a long day of touring. The staff was friendly and professional. The food was tasty and filling.

I can't say that I loved my fish taco . . . it was average. Perhaps a little disappointing, even. But I will say that I at least enjoyed the ambiance and the décor. It's no doubt a great place to eat if you're looking for something quick and decently priced. Will I give this place another try next time? Sure. I would be especially interested in their drinks, as my husband returned to our table with some interesting drink samples that the staff kindly provided for free with our meal.

Wow, were we surprised! Great beef quesadilla! Old fashioned soda like Fanta Grape! The prices were good here, we were very happy with the food.
Good tacos for a fair-price lunch
They've got a pretty good assortment of tacos and other Mexican food. It's not street-side cart authentic, but it is authentic Mexican, complete with imported Coke. They've got a couple tables on the sidewalk. The food was a solid B+, and there was plenty of it.
