We are at several good restaurants on our trip to LA but BOA was the one of the best for decor and layout of the tables. The food was excellent, we all had filets and each was cooked perfectly. I would certainly give this a great recommendation.

I love eating out at a good restaurant, especially on holiday. While staying in LA, I visited Boa with a few friends for dinner, it was extremely busy and reservations are a must since it is a celebrity hot spot, with loads of paparazzi. The food came out promptly, the drinks were nice, the restaurant is upscale, bit noisy since it allows people to walk around and your not restricted to your seat. They have a lounge section and an outdoor section. I had the kobe beef spaghetti and others in my party had steaks, I tasted the mashed potatoes, very creamy and silky, best mash potatoes I've probably tasted. The desserts were presented nicely and the portions are large theres enough to take home. A lot of upscale restaurants serve food displayed nicely, smaller portions etc... the portions are large with quality. Overall fantastic atmosphere and will be back next time I'm in LA.

Another night out in LA! Great food, loved the Caesar salad made at the table, fun. My steak was well done well, tasty too. I like the "shareable" portions of sides. The server was very friendly and helpful with our questions, he actually took time out to talk about where we were from etc. The room was a little dark for me. No celebs that we recognized but the paparazzi hang out here each night it seems in the hopes of catching someone I guess. All in all a good meal for a high price tag but we knew that going in.

I mistakenly booked our reservation for the wrong Thursday. Upon arriving the hosts could not find my reservation and then we figured out it was made for the following Thursday. However, the women were VERY accommodating and friendly. Sometimes at restaurants like this that are popular with celebrities, etc. you can find very snobby hostess! (like at STK!). These were the opposite and I really appreciated it. They were able to seat my fiance and I immediately. The food was great. The table Caesar salad was the BEST Caesar I've ever had! Our steaks were cooked to our liking. The mac and cheese was great too! There were quite a few celebrities dining while we were there and the paparazzi were camped right outside waiting. Can't wait to go back!

Saw waitress pick up used napkin from floor, then use it to wipe down a table, and then seat a customer at this table...yuck!!! That was a shame because the burger and fries are pretty good, much better than standard airport food.

We were taken to BOA by friends while visiting LA. Modern décor and interior, nice bar, spacious and very nice terrace area outdoors. I don't know if anyone can bring their own wine, but we did so that was a nice feature (maybe because friends were regulars). Nothing really jumped out at me on the menu, took a 10oz fillet which was good, not mind blowing, we shared vegetables and truffle fries. It was beginning of May and we were basting under the heat lamp until we asked them to turn it down. Extremely friendly service. Not wowed by the place in general, but everything was decently good. @livingraplyrics on instagram for pictures and other cool posts.

A very cool/smart looking place! Dress to impress! Service great. Cocktails fab especially the blackberry smash! a must! The best part of meal was the seafood mountain/platter!!!! You must order this if you love seafood great lobster, oyster and king prawns amongst other fish! Lovely

Having literally arrived from the airport we were very well treated at the bar while we waiting for the table. They said 20 minutes and it was 20 minutes Steaks were better than Mortons which is my benchmark Wine by the glass was decent and ok priced Great scene at the bar We ended up being the last to leave and got no pressure to exit the place. Good staff

Had dinner here on a Sunday night for my birthday. Located on West Hollywood / Beverly Hills line at the end of the Sunset Strip.Friendly maitre 'd, bartender and waiter. Both the restaurant manager and asst manager came by to see how everything was and not just cursory - we had an extended chat with the asst mgr who also came over to say good night as we left. Steaks cooked perfectly and we sat outside in the beautiful courtyard seating. Tables nicely spaced out so you are not crammed together. We were there just after the Emmys were over and apparently some celebs were arriving just as we were leaving to the flashbulbs of paparazzi. A very delightful evening in all! We live only blocks from here and had never been there, but will certainly return. And though I was treated to dinner, the bill was not as high as I had expected.

Eat there multiple times. Consistent great food and impeccable service. Best caesar salad in LA. Would highly recommend.

This place had a great atmosphere. We came for after dinner drinks. Plenty of seating indoor and out. Pit fires make drinking wine on a lounge out doors relaxing. Nice crowd. I left my Iphone on one of the lounges when I left. I rang the next day to see if the phone was there and to my astonishment it was. Staff had found it whilst cleaning and handed it in...THANK YOU!!

One of the best restaurants we visited the steak is amazing the mash potato is even better the food is rich but decadent and it was a very pleasurable experience. The staff are excellent very informative and made the overall experience one to remember Would highly recommend a visit

Came here on a recommendation from our son and daughter-Ina-law who are from SF, as Boa was recommend to them on a previous trip to LA. The four of us were able to make a on the day reservation as it was a Sunday night. We were seated in the outdoor area, the heaters were on, so it was nice. Ordered a bottle of Cabernet and placed our order. We ordered their famed salad, tossed at table side. Great little show in itself as the waiter prepared and tossed with expertise. My husband and son ordered the rib-eye, which my daughter-in-law and I ordered the Chilean Seabass. We also ordered two sides....the garlic mashed potatoes and brusselsprouts. Surprisingly, my husband loved the brusselsprouts. He normally hates brusselsprouts. We did find room to share a dessert among the four of us. We'd come back again when visiting LA again!

I was invited to Boa by business associates. They are also from out own town and had found the place on a top 10 list of restaurants worth a visit in LA. The restaurant was jam-packed, but we got our seats within a minute. Everything seemed very well organized and the whole get seated, get your menu, have you been here before, this is our concept ritual was very efficient, but still quite pleasant and personal. We felt no stress at all in our interactions with the staff, even if they had a full house to deal with and this is true mark of a professional. My 4 friends all had steaks, but I opted for a herb covered fish. The steaks were excellent and perfectly cooked to specifications. My fish had a dry and crisp herb crust, but was smooth and moist on the inside – have no idea how they cook it, but this fish was cooked to perfection! The sides are a meal in them selves. Our serving of jumbo asparagus were large enough to be a full meal on their own. Just wish we hadn´t ordered the rest as well… (simply too much). The wine pairing was top notch and elevated a top meal to excellent! Our desserts were like the sides – large enough servings to feed 2-3 people. I had the cheesecake and it was one of the lightest ones I have ever had – just perfect! The evening ended in the perfect way to put us in the Hollywood mode – exited the restaurant together with Al Pacino and Keifer Sutherland.

We've been to a few BOA's throughout the world and perhaps have been spoilt with service in the United Arab Emirates. We booked in advance after realising on Trip Advisor that it was a busy venue, and had hosted an Emmy After Party the previous night. By all accounts this is the place to celebrity spot - but we didn't see any! Seating was efficient, if not friendly, and the layout and ambience of the place was great. A real indoors - outdoors feel to the place. Seating was close together and a number of people asked to move seating as they were sat by the hostess to more secluded areas, (ask for a booth when booking). Food was really good and the Striploin was massive and delicious and cooked to perfection. The Truffle fries were lovely although got cold quickly and were filling considering the size of the steak too.... The only down size with the experience was the slow service, bread didn't come until we had our main course. Wine took about 15 mins and then we had to ask three servers for a refill. The server herself was excellent and friendly - but just seemed not to be there, although it wasn't that busy. We asked for the bill and waited another 15 minutes - clearly they were not in a hurry to turn the table over! Overall disappointing considering the bill amount.

Absolutely perfect evening for my father’s birthday , especially thanks to our wonderful waiter Andre who was very pleasant, super helpful and always on top of everything. The food was excellent (particularly enjoyed the cauliflower tempura, cheese baklava and steak) and the cookie dessert with candles they brought out at the end was amazing too. Highly recommend.

You will need to book well in advance as it is very popular (particularly with celebrities). Paparazzi were staking out while we were there both when we arrived and left. Not sure who was in there. Food is great and excellent service.

Beautiful building which is part inside and out. Great steak with a good wine list. Immaculate service and huge side dishes. Valet service is helpful as there isn't much obvious parking.

A great place where you can sit outside or inside. Quite a decent crowd. Met David Beckham once while there. Smart casual and great steaks. Loads of bars for pre or after drinks on Sunset.

Made dinner reservation with friends while on a trip to LA for a 40th birthday. Can easily say this was one of the best meals of my life. The service was top class & food was to die for.

Went there to send off 2016 and had to settle with a set menu, so not sure how this compares with their usual offering. I thought the restaurant itself was well-designed, without much pretension or particular refinement: low light, generous seating banquette... I liked the big backlit pictures of fall foliage and the candles on the tables. I could have done without the tv screen at the bar and the place was noisy, but not uncomfortably so. Still: not a place where to whisper "I love you". The service was impeccable! Several staff attended to our table in an attentive, efficient manner, without pressure to eat quickly. Food was served promptly. Main waiter was knowledgeable and reliable. Brilliant! Potentially the best thing about this place. The food itself was hot and tasty: goat cheese baclava was to die for, and best beurre brun sauce I've had in my entire life. Portions were on the small side: salad was tiny, and I got one raviolo on my plate (didn't even know you could use the singular of this word). Also: spinach was TOO salty and gritty under the tooth. So: great but no Michelin star. Word to the wise: this place is expensive! We had to pay $25 PER OUNCE for a piece of on-the-side Wagyu beef. Also had to pay $40 extra for a few shavings of fresh truffle on our plate. If you're looking for good value, Boa is not for you. I was happy with my experience, and this was a wonderful way to usher the new year. Crowd was older and stylish: I felt a little out of place but overall delighted. I would probably not go back considering the variety found in L.A. and the value of that particular place.

Everytime we eat here it is perfect, great dry aged beef, great wines. Try the chapellet signature cab savin....

Beautiful atmosphere, Best steak & Beautiful service I had the lobster mash, king crab with T bone steak delicious 10/10

Went on a Sunday evening for my Birthday. secured the half price wine deal. Im a man who loves a good steak & this place delivered. Quick service Excellent food.

Sadly, I think perhaps people in SoCal don't know what good food tastes like. Food wise, there were some high points and low points. High points were: Caesar salad made table side by a charming young man; goat cheese baklava; Snickers dessert. Everything else I tasted was either average or below average. My steak was nice, but under-seasoned, and naturally there was no salt on the table. Sides were nothing special. The dining room is really nice. Open air. The waitress was adequate. The worst part of the night was a situation with a Sommelier. One of our party of 7 had an issue with how something was handled. Rather than just apologize and right the situation, the Sommelier decided to have an argument with the person at my table to the degree that he went and got a busboy to prove to my colleague that she was wrong and the Sommelier was right. I've eaten in a lot of fine dining restaurants and have NEVER seen anything like it. Inappropriate doesn't even describe it. This probably went on for 5 minutes while the waitress was going over the specials. It was distracting, bizarre and set a really bad tone for the whole experience. There is nothing which would bring me back to this place. Not even the amazing Snickers.

Very good, nice atmosphere and great location. If you like good meat, that s the place to be! Don t miss it if you are in LA. Definitely worth it

this is a great spot. The food was average, service was good but nothing really special. The burger was so hyped but I found it just ok...

My wife and I went out for a romantic dinner at Boa during our visit to LA. The restaurant has an excellent atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff. This is also a celebrity hotspot, however we didn't see any while we were there, Our waiter Nick was helpful and courteous, and made several excellent recommendations. There was also never a moment when our water or wine glasses were empty. The food is really the best part of the whole experience. My wife had the 40 day dry aged steak with blue cheese and I had the 21 day dry aged steak with peppercorn rub. Both steaks are beyond comparison. They are fairly pricey, but the portions are huge, and the quality is amazing. I highly recommend either, but the 40 day dry aged with blue cheese is one of the best things I've ever eaten. If you want an amazing steak, give Boa a try.

My wife and I decided on BOA following the positive reviews on TripAdvisor and the great sounding menu. The restaurant is modern/fresh decor and tasteful lighting which creates a nice ambience. As we entered we were greeted by multiple members of staff, all extremely pleasant and interested in how our day had been. We were about 15 minutes early for our table but were given the option to go immediately there or to the bar. We chose the table. As we were shown to the table the young lady casually enquired as to whether it was a special occasion. My wife mentioned that we were on holiday in the US celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We were seated outside. Although I was initially concerned, there were plenty of patio/overhead heaters and we felt comfortable throughout the evening. The waiter introduced himself, asked whether we wanted tap or bottled water and gave an overview of the layout of the menu. After a few minutes he returned with the water and took our drinks order. He made a recommendation regarding the Caesar Salad and when he returned with our drinks took our food order. My wife ordered the Caesar Salad which was made at the table and was very tasty. I ordered the French Onion Soup (Soup of the day), which again was very tasty. Both were good sized portions. After this, both my wife and I had the Petite Filet steak. It was mouthwatering and very filling despite its appearance. To top off the evening, we were presented with a sparkler and baked Alaska to celebrate our anniversary - on the house. Overall, a superb evening and we would definitely go back again if we were to come to LA again.

My husband and I were recommend to go to this restaurant by our hotel, The Roosevelt. We wanted a steakhouse with great atmosphere! We couldn't get a reservation until 9, but were told to go early and sit at the bar. We got there at 8:15 and our table was ready. We were on our honeymoon and the concierge at our hotel did tell them that. We were immediately seated and the next thing we knew our waitress brought us 2 complimentary glasses of champagne saying congratulations. We were very surprised and impressed. The staff was unbelievably friendly! Our waitress recommended ordering the caesar salad, so we did! It was prepared by a friendly chef at our table. He explained the process as he made our salad and it was amazing! It was the best caesar salad we had ever had! We both ordered steaks and they were awesome as well. We are from Kansas so beef is important to us. I would definitely suggest the filet over a strip, but that's a personal preference! When our meal was finished our waitress brought us a complimentery dessert with a big sparkler and had congratulations written on it. Again, we were completely surprised. We couldn't believe they went out of their way to make us feel so special! For those who are into seeing the stars we were told this was a hot spot. While we were there we were a few tables away from Chris Bosch from the Miami Heat, my husband loved that! The atmosphere is intimate and trendy! The best restaurant of our honeymoon trip!

Another amazing experience at Boa and the place never fails to deliver! Our waiter, Scott, took amazing care of us (so did everyone else), the food was perfect (Kumamoto and grass-fed filet mignon), the portions are generous, the scene is always nice. My visits were almost 2.5 years apart and equally exceptional: a testament to the quality of Boa.

Boa Steakhouse Boa steakhouse is a 'must do' restaurant for anyone, visitor or local, when in LA. It is located in the West Hollywood area so convenient to access from most parts of LA. There is a nice bar there but we didn't give that a go. The main restaurant is spacious and light filled with high ceilings, timber and soft leather, cosy booths and tables giving an atmosphere of sophistication and comfort yet privacy and intimacy too. The members of the staff who attended out table were attentive and informative without being too intrusive. The wine list was impressive and when we expressed an interest in a Napa red the sommelier, Lance, came and spent a bit of time helping us out with our choice and offering advice on our upcoming trip to Napa. He even typed up a list of vineyards as suggestions for us to visit. We were very impressed by this interest and help especially given that the restaurant was getting quite busy. The food was amazing and two of us tried steaks. I rarely eat steak out but was impressed by the fillet mignonette as it was the most tender and flavoursome steak I have EVER eaten. It was difficult to narrow down a choice of dessert but the one we tried was a work of art and taste sensation as well. The red wine that Lance chose for us was amazing too and my husband has now searched online through our local bottle shops back home in Australia to see where we will be able to locate some! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a special and memorable evening out whilst in LA.

Great atmosphere. Intimate decor. Great for people watching although I haven't spotted any celebrities outside of the Housewives of -----

Absolutely wonderful. One of the best meals I’ve eaten. Great vibe in restaurant. Cheery nice staff. Cannot recommend enough. Can’t wait to go to LA again to visit here again. Well done BOA!!!

Boa has an interesting decor, some areas open to the sky, with comfortable seating arrangements. Although not cheap, the dishes are generally reasonable value for money. The wine list is fairly extensive, with quite a few available by the glass.

Love this place! If you are in west Hollywood put this on your list. So tasty and some of the best food I've eaten. Perfectly cooked fish and wonderful service.

Had a group meal in Boa. The service was great, staff very friendly but what you would expect in this type of establishment. In fact the staff all seem to be models or use to work in ex Abercombie kids, now all grown up. This place has a god location and outside area with views of the sea front. We all had steaks and to be honest was very very good, cooked as required and the sides were also well presented. The downside is the price over $50 bucks for a steak plus sides, not cheap, so not one for the family, but good friends wanting a cool location.

Haven't had this good of a steak in a long time. Great appetizers too. Worth the price tag. Dessert menu needs some work though

We arrived at the restaurant after walking in the heat for 40 minutes. After 15 minutes we had to ask for a drink and bread. Our waiter was extremely unattentive. We waited for 225 minutes and then asked the manager Richard to take our order as our waiter was hopeless. Richard was superb and the service thereafter was absolutely faultless. The food was amazing and Richard gave us a complimentary dessert. We would definitely go back as the manager really looked after us.

I had dinner with a large group of girlfriends at Boa. It was a gorgeous July night and we sat on the patio. There was a chill in the air but the waiter made sure we were all close enough to a heater. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and modern in style. The food was spectacular. For a place that focuses on steak, I took a risk in ordering the scallops. But it paid off!!! They were the best scallops I've ever had. Perfectly done--I wish I could have more right now, but I live in Dallas. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in West Hollywood. Everyone really enjoyed their meals that night, and the service was excellent for a group of 10.

Fab decor and exceptional service . Blake our main server was superb, all the staff were great. Lovely decor and really comfy seating too. So well organised too, it was Halloween so fab costumes worn too. The impossible burger and skirt steak were good and we had some delicious New Zealand wine too. Lovely evening and not rushed either.

This is one of the BEST restaurants my husband and I have ever been to. From the service, food, atmosphere etc it is definitely worth spending money on. I also recommend you try their Ceasar salad - it is made in front of you, from scratch! The meals are so delicious - even when you are full you want to keep eating. If it's a special occassion - be sure to mention it and wait for the special suprise. Anyone I know visiting LA in the future I will most definitely recommend this restaurant to them!

BOA is always allot of fun, great atmosphere, people are fun, love the bar here and always a good chance to see a star or two. Luo Diamond Phillips was in the house this night. OK well he's still a star right?

Very nice semi covered outside seating area with tables nicely separated so you don't feel like you are seating on top of the next person. The salmon was delicious and my husband was very satisfied with his steak.

We were 7 people eating and we all loved it. The steaks were amazing and some of us believe its the best theyve had. Although very pricey it was worth it!

This is one gorgeous restaurant. I took a client there, and we enjoyed the best service (Donald), and everything we had was delicious , but the steak! as a steak house it was disappointing that the featured foods are not up to par. My guest did enjoy his New York steak, but my wife and I split a big rib eye steak on the bone, which was both tasteless and on the dry side...one expects a more 'juicy' rib eye....the sides of asparagus, mushrooms and baked potato were very well done, and the selection of martinis and wines were excellent as well. Our GREAT waiter (Donald) recommended the eclair dessert...good choice! So all in all we had a good time, but what happened to a good steak in an upscale steak house?

I loved this place for a casual business dinner in front of the ocean. The Steak meat was fantastic, The sides gigantic and tasty. Very nice service.

Great place The atmosphere The service And of course the food. A bot expensive, but definitely worth it

The title says it all. This place charges way too much for an average tasting meal. I can't really complain about the meal; it was okay. But you can get the same quality at just about any roadside steakhouse.

It's a memory that will be everlasting Food service / Drink service and absolute professionalism this restaurant exudes ... Lance and Brent are amazing ... We booked from Australia and on arrival felt like the most important people around ... Cheers thank you....

BOA is undoubtedly one of the best service experiences we've had. You just feel like your totally immersed in the LA lifestyle and it's great just to soak it up. Not that it's pretentious or just for the rich and famous...this is a restaurant that appeals to everyone. We went there for a family (of 6) anniversary celebration - the attention to our needs was very impressive; the menu was outstanding; particularly the choice of steaks, which were of a very high quality. We could not fault it. Price wise (when we converted dollars to sterling) it was exceptional value. Would we go again...? A definite YES...Loved it.

on par with their other location, good food and nice atmosphere if you're looking for a more upscale choice that isn't stuffy.

This restaurant - both in Santa Monica and Sunset Boulevard - in a word 'amazing'. The food is simply divine and the service first class. The restaurant on Sunset is probably the 'coolest' I've ever eaten in. You cannot tell where the outdoor begins and the indoor ends. The steaks are 'melt in the mouth' delicious and the Goat's Cheese Bavette unlike any other starter I have ever eaten. I could fly to LA now just for this dish. Spotting celebrities to boot was the icing on the cake.

I do enjoy a good steak house in London and this was just as good if not better as the bar area was worthy of a night out alone, the service unbelievable as was the steak and the signature Caesar salad made table side just topped it off

PROS: Steak was great, perfectly cooked, portions are plentiful CONS: Some overcomplicated sides, expensive, one on our table had overcooked meat If you want an epic steak then there are a few places to go and Boa certainly delivers on its promise of quality meat. It's rather expensive, of course, but then this is LA and prime cuts aren't going to cost back pocket change. A table of 12 of us were well handled, all bar one of us who had an overcooked steak (like really overcooked - but we're British and clearly too polite to send it back). An oddity as my medium rare was absolutely perfect and among the better streaks I've ever eaten. The waiters and sommelier were attentive without being too in our face. They never interrupted conversation which was a nice touch a lot of other restaurants could learn from. My only cpersonal omplaint is something all too many American restaurants do - overcomplicate the flavours of side dishes. The broccolini, for example, was tender and would have been delicious if it wasn't covered in chilli and garlic - and there was no mention of that on the menu. Now I'm a fan of both chilli and garlic, but such big flavours just get in the way and weren't needed. Instead I stuck with the jumbo asparagus, lobster mash (yes, really), mac 'n' cheese (although it wasn't strictly mac, given the pasta used) and was tres happy. The surf and turf portions looked fantastic too. Don't order too many sides though as they're giant and we left far too much over. In the company of good friends and the odd celeb (hi La Toya Jackson) I enjoyed this place a lot. Just one or two things as detailed that hold it back from being even better.

I came here for a private event. The food was amazing. The service was even better. The venue itself was gorgeous. It was just VERY loud with the group next to us.

Beautiful atmosphere. All of our steaks were cooked perfectly (and we had some picky steak eaters with us!!! LOL) The sides are as impressive as the steaks. The service is as good as it gets!! High priced but they back it up.

2nd visit to boa and the it was okay. Unfortunately it took an hour for our food to arrive which followed our reservation not being listed so Overall a bad start to the meal. Service was okay but could more friendly.

By far my favorite steak place in LA. The atmosphere is great with inside our outside seating. Salad made table side are the best. Steaks are out of this world. Bar area is perfect for socializing prior or after meal.

me and my husband tried getting reservations 2 different nights and they were completly booked they did how ever get us a seat at the "Lounge" it was very hard to eat our food on a couch we had to slouch over and our back were sore by the time we were done it was very dark in there you could barley see what you were eating i got the N.y strap and lobster twice bake potato and the steak was like rubber and all grissle and i wasent much on the potato either it was very expensive i dont think id go back. We had a lovley waiter who was very nice but other then that i didnt enjoy boa

Food very good. Atmosphere great. Terrific location in west Hollywood. Steak is really good. Service was great. I would recommend. It is expensive though.

Upon arrival, this place is awesome. Great hostesses. My waitress Sasha was amazing. The food and service is excellent and the atmosphere is so hip and fun!

Pre booked a table with at least a months notice. When I arrived I nearly had to wait 1hour and 45mins for our table. when we sat at out table it was probably in the worst place they could have given us a table at. Then we sat down 20 mins went by no one gave us service. I had to get up eventually to find the manager and as him whats going on. I understand if you are having a busy night. But you come over to the table and let them know that you are busy it called etiquette. Eventually came over and gave us a round of drinks on the house. Then when we got our food it didnt arrive at the same time and mine was cold. But I was so hungry at that point I was no tin the mood to send it back. I would have given them one star but they did give a round of drinks on the house so they got 2.

BOA was recommended as a restaurant to go to for my wedding anniversary and the it was great. Walking in the door man has the door waiting for us to enter and the hostess was anxious to confirm our reservation. The bar area was cool and the architectural layout was modern and fun. Everyone was dressed to kill. Lots of room to stand around the bar and plenty of tables to enjoy your dinner. Definitely make reservations a few days a head of time. I ordered the 21 day old ribeye, my wife the seabass and both were very good.

Where do I start, Well I guess with the service which right from the start with the hostess was great. We decided to eat at bar which we do a lot and the bartenders were also wonderful. My wife had th filet and I had a 40 day dry aged NY strip. Both were cooked perfectly and delicious. I had mine with a blue cheese rub and thought it was right on the money. We shared the truffle cauliflower witch again was over the top. Cant wait to get back next week!

My wife and I ate here towards the tail end of our honeymoon. The concierge at our hotel booked the restaurant last minute for us. This is a very trendy, modern style restaurant, clearly a lot of wealthy people like to eat here as there were Ferrari's, Roll Royce's, etc parked outside. It is an expensive place but I never mind paying more money for good quality food and that's exactly what we got. However the only gripe I'd have with Boa is the wine list, it's hugely expensive. Being honest a lot of the wines are seriously overpriced. Wines I'm used to buying when out for meals were significantly more expensive then I'd be used to paying. I guess, judging by the clientle most people won't care. As it's a steakhouse we both ordered steak, I had the bone in Kansas filet mignon and my wife had the petit fillet mignon. We both agreed it was probably the best steak we've ever had. They were both so lean and tender, you nearly didn't even need a knife to cut them. You could just pull the steak apart with a fork! We ordered two sides, onion rings and French fries - both of each were massive and gorgeous. The decor was really cool, contemporary and modern, a style I really like. Atmosphere was great too, very busy and a nice buzz around the place. Next time I'm in LA it'll definitely be a restaurant I'll visit.

We visited BOA Steakhouse for the first time as a large group for a birthday. Some in our group had been to BOA before and had mixed reports (mostly overcooked meat). The location is great. Watch parking though as there are signs leading you to an entrance on Cory. This parking is NOT validated at BOA. It is mostly for Soho house. The attendants dropping the car were awesome, the ones when leaving were quite plainly rude. Nonetheless, the staff were great while ordering drinks and appetizers which were average: bass ceveche and some fries. The table was a mix of meats. I had the venison loin no sauces as I wanted to really taste the meat. It was tender, lean, and a solid portion. Great job on the venison. A couple of people reported overly cooked (beyond what we requested) meat. The server actually argued with our evening's host. The server asserted if he takes the meat into the kitchen under the fluorescent lights, it will appear as perfection. This line of discourse went 2-3 times with the host just saying, the meat is too well done for his taste. As a side I had the bacon and brussels sprouts. They were average. NOW the BEST PART: the desserts are to die for. Great job on the Coconut cake which is just slightly larger than the Great Wall of China.... AND the Bread Pudding was beyond perfect! Note the restaurant was crowded and it seems many celebrate birthdays here. The servers bring dessert with sparkler candles. If you know this and like it, then it is fun. We had fun with it all!

Best place of a great steak in la Service was perfect like always Food excellent The place really to be Ambience was also very nice

Food is really good. Decor is gorgeous. Perfect date night restaurant. Highly recommend. Recommend making reservations.

Dined with my son who attends UCLA to celebrate some of his recent successes. Atmosphere is wonderful, particularly in the outdoor terrace area, which is picturesque and very comfortable, especially later in the evening. Food was perfect. My son’s filet came out just right, as did my salmon. The Lobster mashed potatoes were suoerior to those of Jeff Ruby’s. Dessert topped off the evening. Taylor, our waiter, was very friendly and provided top notch service. We will be back!

This restaurant had great service and friendly staff. The food was tasty and enjoyable. One remark I would say is that the food is a bit over priced.

Had a great meal here. Sat on the patio and enjoyed an amazing steak with a friend. Well worth the price. Very hip spot and you never know who might be eating at the table next to you. Service was great. Overall a great meal and experience.

Seven of us went to celebrate my sister's birthday. BOA is definitely a happening scene. We had a reservation, yet we had to stand around for 10 minutes waiting for our table when the place was nearly empty which was annoying. We all ordered a variety of steaks, and each of us had the house special caesar salad. The salad was drowned in dressing and was just average. The price was absurd considering what we got. The steaks were excellent and well prepared. The sides were good, and we had a variety. The server encourage one side per person which was way too much. Half as many would have been ample. The bill was around $700, so I wouldn't give this a good value rating. It was a fun, festive place, with great service and better than average food. There are better steakhouses in town, and better value

Being a massive "steak-fan", I must say I am not easy to please! But BOA is just right every single time!! The quality, the cooking, the sides everything is amazing! Definitely one of the best steaks in the city

The reason this gets 3 stars is because this is NOT the best LA experience. If you want AMAZING food at an amazingly high price- this is your spot. However, as far as experience goes... It's a bit snobby and every girl in there is smooching on some old rich guy. But back to the food- the Caesar salad is phenomenal. Truly great the way they prepare it from scratch. And the best sea bass filet I've ever had in my life. It cost me like a week's worth salary (I need a new job!), but it was worth every penny. So if you're on the sunset strip and you want to spend money on food- try out BOA:)

Expensive upscale steak house. You will spend at least $100 per person. Food and service was very good. Ambiance very attractive. We sat in a comfortable banquette.

This is the typical subset blvd hotspot. Floyd mayweather in the back room and all! Lol but don't go for that, I mean unless you're wanting to star gaze. The food here is amazing. Not quite a maestros or prime 112 as far as flavor but a whole different experience and definitely great quality even for Te price point.

Good atmosphere with friendly staff. Excellent choice of lunch menu as you would expect from this famous brand.

Great restaurant, great food, good service and friendly staff. Not a cheap restaurant but you don't mind paying a little more when it is so good, cheers.

I ate new york steak and ordered medium but the taste of burned was dominant. So steak is average and taste is is like regular meat not special, i am disappointed. Maybe my expectation was too much

Nice way that the restaurant flows from indoor to outdoor patio ( yet still with a high roof, a unique really different area for seating). Good food- nothing outstanding. Service was a bit abrupt/ not friendly.

Hosted a birthday dinner here and it was truly an LA experience. Excellent decor and food. So many beautiful people dining it really felt very modern Hollywood.

Took my wife here for her Bday dinner and the atmosphere was lively. The place is set right by the beach so it is popular and the views are great. The food was average. Honestly my wife and I could whip up a better Rib Eye garlic mashers, veggies at our home no doubt, but I have to admit the desert they gave my wife for her Bday was out of this world! Some sort of Marshmallow crisp on top of vanilla ice cream and warm really really tasty chocolat cake, drizzled with home made carmel sauce and these mini whopper like chocolat things. Amazing.....

Okay so I didn't eat there but went for drinks and watched the food come out of the kitchen for a couple hours. It all looked good - but it's a steak house so what's the difference. The important thing is...this place is a scene on the side where the bar is and outside - if you go, sit there because LA is about watching people and no one eats anyway. Good drinks, good people watching.

Nice ambiance with spacious table well separated from each other which made it very good for a conversation. Service very attentive. The Cesar Salad made by the table is spectacular. They add a little bit of hot sauce that you do not taste but you can feel all the way. Very tasty. The porterhouse was good but not spectacular. Maybe a little overcooked, but not as tasty as some of the other good stakehouses

Great service, pretty people and wonderful food. We sat outside, gorgeous night. It was a very special night. I plan on returning, often.

I absolutely loved this restaurant. Beautiful setting, fantastic food, and really spectacular service. I especially liked that it is an upscale restaurant, but does not feel particularly stuffy. Yes, it is a pricey dinner, but very on par with other steakhouses I have been to. The caesar salad made tableside was really supreme. We also really enjoyed the chipotle corn as a side. I am going to make a point to go back whenever I am in LA.

I my opinion this restaurant is more for the wanting to be seen crowd then a good steak house. The bone-in rip eye (medium rare) was disappointing. On a scale of 10 I would consider a 7 at best. The assistant general manager Trent T. came by our table after the meal and I expressed my opinion. A very nice guy who seemed customer oriented, apologized gave me his card and told me he would make it up to me the next time I,m in Hollywood. Well maybe, but not for steaks.

Very popular steakhouse with a fashionable crowd, who look like celebs even if they are probably not! Comprehensive menu and excellent service. Vast portions - we over ordered - and sharing, even main courses, would be a good idea if you are not ravenous. Efficient and reasonable valet parking.

the food was outstanding and the service was very good...service would have been better but several times we had to wait too long for things and ask for things more than one time....restaurant was crowded but this is no excuse. I was shocked that the bill was not higher. The two tier seafood sea food extravaganza was an amazing value and high quality (although a few items were not fresh)...filet with gorgonzola was delicious

Hands down the best steak I've had in LA. Every time I come here it's cooked to perfection and the service is amazing. You get what you pay for. I recommend the filet mignon with the blue cheese crust and peppercorn sauce with the truffle cheese fries and Brussel sprouts Enjoy !!

We went to Boa in West Hollywood and were very pleased with our meal and the service. Everyone said that Boa is the best steakhouse in LA, and while that may be true, it doesn't quite match the best NY steakhouses. This is not to imply that it is not good -- it was extremely good (and a great place to see stars coming to eat -- we saw two) -- it is just not at the level of Peter Lugars or Del Friscos. The crab cake was delicious, as was the potato leek soup. The french onion soup was good, not great. The staft was simply incredible. The waiter and bus staff were extremely attentive without being intrusive and the manager was very engaging and pleasant when he came over to visit. If in LA, I don't think you can go wrong eating here.

Great atmosphere, lovely food. The best sea bass I've had. Pricey, but the fillet was huge! Service was very good too. Almost guaranteed to see at least one celeb there and the photographers are usually outside waiting for them!
Great food & romantic atmosphere...
My party of 5 had reservations on Friday 13th...boy what a treat. I had the steak, aged to perfection, and the table side ceasar salad. yummy!!!Everything was wonderful...even ran into a couple of celebs. My sister was also treated w/a birthday dessert. Service was fast & very attentive. Next time in LA I'll be back!
