I just happened to stop in here when I was walking around Pacific Beach the staff wa very friendly and the sand which I ordered was delicious and big enough to share with two people. Their sweet and sour sauce is great you need to get some on the side for your sandwich. I would recommend this place for sure.

Huge sandwiches and great lemonade. Pricey as is everything in Del Mar. Worth a try, would recommend.

I couldn't find a better restaurant to buy a sandwich of any kind, I try the tuna and tose are pretty big and very good made, the people thats work there is very nice and they have a few tables so you can eat your subs there

We went walking down the boardwalk. Stopped at The Crystal Pier and saw Boards and Brew on the corner. Stopped in and ordered a French Dip and my wife ordered the TOMMY. The sandwiches came to the table fast and great tasting. The service was excellent and the place was super clean.

Happened on this place by accident but sooo glad we did! The food was excellent and very large portions. The service was excellent, very friendly staff. I had the Cobb salad which was outstanding, another person in my party had the Turkado which was also excellent, very clean establishment.

Jetlagged, hungry and p****d off at paying stupid prices for below average food, this place was just what I needed. A huge sandwich, tasted great, good service; no nonsense food. Shame there’s no coffee, but worth the visit. I’ll go again before I leave (more than once suspect).

My favorite is the turkado sandwich. These sandwiches are huge and only $6-7! Every sandwich we had here was delicious.

Very good food! The cashier was very friendly and offered lots of help to choose what I wanted. They even have good GF wraps. My husband is a sandwich lover and rated this up at the top of his faves.

We had food delivered two nights in a row — food was that good! Ate leftovers for lunch. The California turkey sandwich, the pastrami sandwich, Chicken Ceasar Salad were so flavorful… And yes the special sauce was unique and delicious. The meats were well prepared; even smelled good!

Thirsty for a tasty brew and a quick bite after people watching on the boardwalk at Pacific Beach, we relied on reviews and its proximity to the beach to pick Board & Brew. After I ordered the Baja Chicken sandwich, I asked what beers they had on tap only to learn that the actually have NO LIQUOR LICENSE. Upon further investigation, it turns out that they haven’t for some time at this location, yet continue to hold themselves out as if the do! Further, the food was average, not bad, but not great. We strongly suspect that a little alcohol is typically necessary to make the food better!!! I loathe false advertising and they capitalize on just that here! Rename this place - “Average Board and NO BREW, NO FUN AND NO GOOD”

Very good food, great location. Good variety/choices on the menu and reasonable prices. Service was fast and friendly.

My wife and I were with friends. Split a chicken caesar salad that had more than enough chicken for two.

Sandwiches are large and very tasty and they even carry a gluten-free tortilla, which was delicious. This is an eat-in or take-out facility. The counter staff was exceptionally friendly and acted like he was glad I was there. Great service. I totally recommend this place.

Enjoyed a weekend in San Diego and ate here twice. The food is delish! I had the California Delight both time. Fresh and quick. Staff very friendly. On the second trip, the dining area could have been a bit cleaner. Spills on the floor and trash can full!

If you need a quick fast food type meal in a restaurant with no character, this is your place. I felt let down after reading the reviews, this place is a glorified subway.

Great sandwiches, made to order near Pacific Ocean in San Diego (Pacific beach area). They have lots of indoor seating or you can eat outside. Super casual...you can ride your bike or walk to order.

We went to the one in Pacific Beach. This place had the best and biggest Cobb salad we've had in ages. The turkado sandwich was excellent too. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Seem to like their jobs. We actually went twice in 3 days, as the food and service was great!

We went here on our last day of being in San Diego. The whole sandwich was good. There wasn't too much of anything added. It was just right. My significant other took half of his and ate it on the plane!

Sandwiches are great, the prices are reasonable and the staff is nice. Great place to grab a quick lunch.

One of my very good friends recommended I try Board and Brew, while I was visiting San Diego and it was seriously one of the best sandwiches I have had in my life!! I also really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, and that there was indoor and outdoor seating. I highly recommend trying out this place, and to get there special sauce, it is actually to die for!!!! Next time I visit san diego, I am coming back and getting a Turkado again!!!!

It was a great sandwich, but a little pricey. It was certainly enough and they brought it pretty quickly.

Went to Board and Brew for a sandwich - the place was packed with people which is always a good sign and it did not disappoint! The sandwiches were huge and delicious - enough to share. Great choices, fast and friendly service, we will be back!

Location recommendation from hotel staff it was extremely busy with all seating taken. Had chicken club sandwich on French baguette was delicious & right on the money. Staff very pleasant friendly & patient with a first time customer. I went with their recommendation overjoyed I did & will pass the good word around

We got sandwiches from here for a take meal while staying in PB. The sandwiches were fresh and tasty with great tasting bread.

I just wanted a bit of food so i avoided the brew bar. The sandwich ills worth the price and erythromycin impressive. I had the Turkado. I shall have to come back and sample the beers as well.

Went with a group and got space to sit, fast ordering and delicious sandwich!! Really nice to be able to get a good craft beer at a reasonable price.

Love this place! Second time here! Last time in SD they had a plumbing problem or something and were closed? We were thrilled to experience them again this trip!

I've traveled alot, this could be the best sandwich I've ever had. The California Delight is amazing! The place is amazing! Lines out the door, service is super fast, and prices are very reasonable.

We had the Cobb salad to go and ate it in the hotel on the lanai. It is a very large salad that we both ate without adding the dressing, it was delicious! Honeymoon salad (lettuce alone without dressing, ha ha). Our only regret was that we didn't try this place sooner, because we would have been regulars.

Right on the corner and close to the beach. Sandwiches and salads are excellent. The portions are a good size. Caesar salad was fresh and the chicken very tender. The Baja Beef sandwich is awesome! Street parking available in the area but it can be busy.

I looked through so many reviews for the best sandwich shop and this was it. I ordered the Veggie Sandwich and added chicken- it was the bomb! So massive I could hardly fit it in my mouth. We will be back!

Simple! Big portions! Turkado was amazing! Fresh turkey, delicious sourdough bread, jack cheese, and yummy avocado! Definitely recommend this sandwich shop!

This sandwich place was a great surprise for us. We were wandering near the hotel looking for food and stumbled upon it. I was very leery of someone putting Sweet and Sour Sauce in my sandwich, but it is not what you would think. And it makes this place stand out well above all other sandwich places. It is a must try sandwich with all fresh ingredients and great potato salad! The girl who took our order was beyond friendly.

This is a great place for an afternoon brew and munch! With some awesome beers on tap, an amazing food menu and a group of servers who really know what to recommend and how to treat guest, how could you go wrong. If your in the area, definitely check out board and brew!

If you want something quick and healthy this is the place. Great employees, yummy secret sauce, good bread. I just wish my Turkey Sandwich had a little more Turkey. Gobble! Gobble!

Saturday at PB means crowds everywhere near the beach. If you are on the beach or nearby and you need to grab a sandwich to go - this is your stop. The Turkado w tons of avocado and turkey on sourdough was HUGE. The left coast pastrami was my husband's choice and it was massive as well. Nothing beats a great sandwich on the beach.

A great sandwich shop very small but does have tables to eat in. They have a special sauce for the sandwiches which I highly recommend, although I do not know what is in it. The portions are large and prices are average. A great place to grab a quick bite while walking the beach.

Everything here is good, if you are looking for a west coast vibe with great sandwiches and a good rotating beer menu, this is your spot. Try the roast beef spicy or the baja chicken and ask for extra special sauce. All the sandwiches are huge and cheap!... YUMM
