Very friendly and helpful staff, the food was excellent with quick Service. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Plus it was good value for money.

I had a great time at Bocconcino. The food was terrific and the service was perfect. The owner, Rosario, is a great host. The vibe is casual and lively. You'll enjoy yourself. For a solo diner, I really appreciated the fact they haver a counter.

Nice atmosphere, friendly attentive service by waitstaff and owner "Rosario". Menu provides delicious "Anti Pasta" and "Insulate" "Secondi" Tip: additional seating in adjacent dining room

Cute Italian spot in North Beach that recently opened in late August. Proprietor Rosario is very engaging and rightfully proud of his new restaurant. A meat sauce fettuccini was the “hidden special” that locals knew about (and we saw next table over) and was made upon request and is likely coming to the next menu. Good Italian food, solid wine list, engaging staff (Pablo was attentive), enjoyable atmosphere (bright light on side wall needs a dimmer or be turned off) and reasonable pricing. Authentic Italian feel in an area w a number of tourist traps. Go and enjoy.

Very cozy place, very nice service, outstanding food. The pasta of the day with pork, pizza, light beer and Sangiovese wine, spectacular. Super recommended and invited back

Wonderful welcoming restaurant. The linguine with clam sauce was perfect, tiramisu was dey. Everything was absolutely wonderful. Great one selection, but would really impressed me was the way I was treated. It’s very hard to be a solo traveler at times and they were welcoming. I was so impressed. I got to meet the kitchen staff. They were lovely. I will be back.

Good neighborhood restaurant serving authentic Italian cuisine. Not an overwhelming menu with a good selection, also decent wine list. The pasta really stood out and would recommend.

Great place with a fun, neighborhood vibe and fantastic food. Small and cozy but great service and would go back in a heartbeat—my wife wanted to again on the trip but I wanted try other places. Gnocchi was outstanding as was the risotto special with pacific red snapper. While it’s a small bistro looks like a neighborhood joint, and it is —that’s the fun— the food is first class. Highly recommend !!!

A paradox , being discarded because Italian by an ITALIAN restaurateur . We have arrived in this fairly crowded place, we are waiting in line and for someone to come out and put us on the list, but as soon as the waiter (or whoever he is) understands that we are Italians he starts to rail against us saying that he would not give us the table because he had bad experiences with Italian customers, swearing and kicking us out badly, at our invitation to tone down the call reminded us that AMERICA IS A FREE COUNTRY and could say what he wanted, I believe we have been given Processing, for no reason, bordering on racism, having asked only for a table to dine and no Special Processing! Being very polite people we left without too many stories , but I would like to remind you that Italy is also a free country but no restaurant treats random customers badly just because it had a bad day , I believe that such an aggressive and racist attitude towards any customer , in Italy, it would have cost you your job! However I strongly ADVISE , America is beautiful, except for certain people!

A good authentic Italian restaurant in San Francisco , which is a breath of fresh air in California as you find a lot of non authentic Italian restaurants. Food and ambience was great

Excellent service, ambiance, and food! Our waiter (Italina gentleman) was very friendly and provided menu recommendations that hit the spot!

A really friendly restaurant with great feel and good food. The owner went out of his way to explain the food choices and the specials. Good prices too. The only down side was the very small glasses of wine

Great, small authentic Italian restaurant in North Beach. The best Ravioli di Pesce (fish stuffed ravioli in pink sauce) I have had, and we have traveled throughout Italy. The risotto was also spot-on, excellent bread, service great, wines paired perfectly by our server (thanks, Eileen) and the price reasonable.
Felt like in Italy!
I've been in this restaurant with my family, we're from Rome (Italy) and we missed a good pasta during our USA vacation. The restaurant had been open since 4 days, the atmosphere is warm and cozy, the owner, Rosario, is an Italian expat who clearly loves what he does, very kind and talkative with us, the food is delicious and with a good variety of choices, especially the pasta is made the real italian way. For me it is a 10.
