no complaints, no exclaimation points

By Kurt G |

Location and a very good menu that delivers brings us back. We have been here twice now and cannot complain about anything. However, this is Miami and if we were to go up to Coral Gables we could get a five star dinner for a few dollars more--and have. That is hardly a complaint as this is a chain. Our server was spot-on and the fish was fresh and very tasty--although the portions were on the small side. We waltzed in on a Friday night without reservations at 6:30 and got in--but those behind us were not so lucky.

Average family restaurant

By GarryDesAmours |

I wanted to take my daughter and her Fiancé out to chat a bit about their upcoming wedding. So, they picked that restaurant based on our friend's recommendation. In spite of our reservation, our table was not ready when we got in. We had to wait almost 30 minutes. The waitress highly recommended the Bang Bang which was very average. The highly publicized Mussels was not that exceptional. Overall, we ate but did not "dine".

I couldn't get a table

By gerry458 |

Worst greeting in my life. I couldn't get a table. They put me away and said, one moment and then let the people behind me get the table. My wife and me just look and turned around and leave the place. Someone recommended it to me and looks nice and clean. I felt very unappreciated and unwelcome. also discriminated. I try to call the manager to complain but wasn't available.

Great place!! Good enviroment!

By Conejo |

I love this place! the food is well presented and tasty... I tried a grouper with mango dressing on top that was delicious... The salads are pretty good too! and also the bar while you wait for your table! I will highly recommend this place for couples!

marvelous Mahi Mahi Underwhelmed Bacon Mac & Cheese

By Dianne G |

I love the new family meal deals ! So we ordered the Mahi Mahi and Grilled Shrimp family meal. I am most definitely not a fish lover but I love the Mahi Mahi and Mango salsa … I ordered the Bacon Mac and Cheese for $3.00 extra . The portion size was good - especially for a family but this was not Bacon Mac and Cheese. This was Mac and Cheese with what looked like a strip of bacon torn and put on top. So you only got Some bacon if you managed to get one of the “torn” pieces from the top. There was no bacon IN the Mac and cheese. Suggestion if putting the bacon . Directly in the Mac and cheese is too much , put a side of bacon pieces/ bits so that the family can mix it in their serving of Mac and cheese. The House salad was wonderful and the cookies were a delight . Just make that modification to the Mac and cheese… please!

Super restaurant

By Imagine |

After a car show Saturday 2/18/12 my girlfriend and I decided to eat at Bonefish...It was Great!... We ate in the lounge area in a booth...I had salmon with a mango based topping, side of mashed and asparagus ..I ordered the small size 6 oz. for $13.99 which was ample!...the 8 oz. size I think was $16.99...I also got the toss salad for I think another $3.50 which was outstanding made with their house dressing..a cold coors light and I was done!...my girlfriend got a chicken dish and loved it, she got a ceaser salad and said it was fantastic!... She got her usual glass of Kendll Jackson Chardonnay, which was overpriced at $8.90 All in all we can't wait to go back!...

Saturday night dinner

A nice restaurant for all the family, friendly staff and good food. You may have to wait in season but worth it.

Can’t get enough of the martinis!

By Sher A |

If we are in Canton, we stop for a beer and Martini. The seasonal expresso martini is so yummy and pretty to look at. We had the lunch special: Fish taco and shrimp taco, the corn chowder. Food is always excellent. The staff is always amazing!

Superb lump crab cakes

By Joseca80 |

We are regular customers and enjoy this restaurant. The lump crab cakes are the best we have had anywhere in recent times. Also enjoyed the very lean pork chop. Our female server was outstanding. It was the Saturday night before super bowl 51 so very busy.

BoneFish South FL

By Teresa A |

Great service, food is always consistently good, warm and excellent presentation. The house drinks are a good deal and quality liquor.

Excellent food, excellent service, excellent experience!

By marlecz |

Service is very attentive and waiters are totally knowledgeable of the superb menu offered here. The "bacon wrapped Atlantic sea scallops" was a very creative appetizer and I almost didn't wanted to order the main curse to avoid losing the wonderful taste of the combination between the scallops and the crispy bacon highlighted by a small salad in the center with mango accents. That was my third visit to this restaurant and it is very consistent with their food quality, fantastic service and casual decoration; I would definitively recommend a visit to try it.

Good Food and Good Prices

By Doslittlepeeps |

The ambiance is cozy and contemporary. The menu is simple (it's not a book with 40 pages) and the food is simply delicious. We enjoyed their bacon wrapped scallops - which was a bit pricey for only 4 scallops. The portions are just right (not too big, not too small) and the entrees were delicious. Good casual place for fresh seafood.

Everything is delicious

By Bahalau |

Bonefish is one of my favorites. The grilled fish is delicious, especially salmon and grouper with chimichurri. I also love the salmon asparagus salad. The filet and burger are good too if you don't like fish. Seasonal veggies and desserts are yummy.

Bonefish... the best fish in Kendall!

By Ricardo F |

This is one of the best fish restaurants for fresh fish in Miami. I have not only had great drinks at the bar, but enjoy their B B shrimp and fresh tuna appetizers.... dessert tops it too!

Great place to eat.

By Janet B |

Great food. I love Lily's Chicken. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. They also have a great happy hour.

Excellent food at reasonable prices.

By Wayneww1000 |

The service is excellent and the food is great. The prices are reasonable. Will definitley be back many times.

Good food and service

By HectorFL |

We had dinner there last night. The fish was fresh and it was refreshing that they are finally offering snapper which was sadly missing from their menu. The filet mignon was fine but did not include any sauce and it was just there by itself, and was very bland. I asked for a mushroom/marsala sauce which was brought right away. The side orders of potatoes au gratin and green beans were fine. The corn/crab soup was very good. The service was excellent from beginning to end.

Good Food and great service fish never tasted so good !!

By Graceloves2travel |

They have many new fish choices and also a great variety of drinks at the bar their fish is made with fruit sauces like mango and others need to try it

Dinner

By Hector E |

The food was nice and warm, all 4 of us were served at the same time. The drink recommended was very good. The dessert was very delicious. The ser er was nice so the experience was very nice with our couple friend.

Great food and service - a few things to be aware of

By mwooduk |

We took two friends here for a 60th birthday celebration. The service by Adam was fabulous. However, one thing for other people to be aware of; all entrees (which are delicious) come with two side dishes, all four of us asked if we could swap out one of the side dishes for a side salad obviously meaning INSTEAD of a side dish. The waiter said of course, np. When the bill came, we had been charged $4.99 each for each additional side salad as an additional add on charge which I was not expecting. I did not say anything as it was a birthday treat and I did not want to make a fuss in front of the guests but just be aware. Food is always fresh and reliable at Bonefish and they specials and wines by the glass are always unique.

Great lobster roll!

By Andrea C |

Their new menu features some great items. The lobster roll was tangy and filled with chunks of meat. It came with a side and slaw. The corn and seafood chowder is excellent. The seafood shrimp tacos were good also. Service was very good. Each table gets the warm bread and pesto dip. Will return often.

Customer dinner

By Eddiedwineguy |

we waited for 10 minutes before someone acknowledge us, the scallops are not as shown on their advertisement (way too small), not well condimented. the broccoli was undercooked ( again ). over priced for the amount of food served.

Good time

By Ja Bu |

Real friendly place. Not to fast paced to get you out the door. The bang bang shrimp is awesome as well as my main course shrimp and scallops. I will return

Birthday celebration

By Andysunkey |

Reliable for quality and service a good place for a birthday dinner. Good old Bang Bang shrimp in whatever form you like, some amazing PI mussels all went down well, Augratin potatoes good, crack cake and sirloin okay. Wonderful service with excellent wine choices.

Dissapointed!

By nmd102267 |

I took my parents to Bonefish Grill for Father's Day. My father ordered the filet mignon, my mother ordered a filet as well and I ordered the chicken. My chicken was rubbery and very dry and I managed to only eat 1/4. My father was pleased with his steak. My mother got a strip sirlion rather than the filet and it was very dry and rubbery. They acknowledged the error made in the kitchen. Stephanie the server was very polite and did a great job. I can't say I was happy with the Manager - Justin about how he dealt with my Mum's meal. He wanted to charge her for a sirlion steak as he accepted they made a mistake and did not give her the filet. The right thing should have been to take it off the bill. We were not about to wait for them to cook a replacement. My mum was not happy. Of course when I asked for his name because I intended to write to Trip Advisor only then did he take it off. However, we insisted they put the sirlion back on as we did not want them to think we wanted a free meal. So, don't do steaks or chicken at this place even though on the menu. But, I have had seafood there before that was not outstanding as well. Lastly, Justin the manager did not handle the situation well and needs to step up to the plate rather than flaunt around thinking he is a pretty boy peacock. Other than this, the place has a lovely ambiance and my wine was fine for a house wine at a happy hour price. Oh and since we payed full price for their error...they should have at least offered a dessert after the mess up and let us leave with a bad taste.

Good Kendall Restaurant

By Gator2357 |

Always of high quality and friendly service. Very interesting and unique seafood dishes. Specials are very good also

What a Nightmare!!

By Luv2travel101974 |

We live in the area, therefore, we tend to visit this restaurant several times a year and we have always enjoyed it's food, great service and drinks. That is until recently, when one night I was home sick and my husband and children went for dinner. After being seated they waited over 15 minutes for a waiter to come by. When that didn't happen, the asked another waiter to please find them whoever was supposed to serve their table. After this, the horrible service continued with their orders taking forever (no bread was ever brought to the table as it is customary) and once the orders arrived two of them were wrong. To add insult to injury the waiter, some guy by the name of "Eddie" kept being rude to them and being unapologetic for the mistakes. My children started texting me from the restaurant about what a horrible time they were having and I had to call in to the restaurant and request to speak to a manager. Thankfully, I was able to speak to Ms Leysi (not sure on the spelling) and she was able to make their horrible night much better! She was kind and sweet and felt so bad for my husband and children that she waived their tab and even gave them a $25.00 gift certificate for the next time. It is a shame that our excellent opinion of this restaurant had to be tainted by this horrible experience. We are thankful to Leysi and hope we are able to forget and think of this as an isolated incident and be able to come back.

Perfect Customer Service

By Bruce P |

I love it when the Managers come by and GREET THE CUSTOMERS.WOW!!!!!! The General Manager (ASH) and the Assistant Manager (LORY) came by twice to our table for a greeting and a laugh it was so heart warming to so see how passionate they are about there customers. You want great food and good customer service this is the place you would get all and then some. Our waiter name was BJ and he was outstanding!!!!!

Delicious Brunch

By Chaz T |

There were no small, expensive plates. Food was affordable and plentiful. Service was A1 also. Would come back again

Good restaurant in the suburbs

By frez |

Great food for a chain restaurant. Service is always excellent and the food is very good. We come very often and had never had any disappointment. Appetizers like Bang Bang shrimp, their Ceviche and the Corn and Crab chowder are excellent. I normally eat the Ahi Tuna Tokyo Style, and really is sushi grade tuna.I was also surprised at the great steak and pork chops ,with a name suggesting to be a seafood restaurant....don't let that stop you from ordering either of those plates if you feel like meat....The desserts are always good. I only wish they had a more extense wine list, but other than that is a place worth trying.

Excellent food and service

By travelfamily483 |

Delightful server and great food. Nice relaxed dinner with pleasant atmosphere.

From bad to worse

By Delatorrellc |

Bonefish is a chain and was not great but not bad. Over the course of the last few months the service remains great but the food has declined exponential. We ordered the lobster fritters tonight and we got 5% lobster (see pic) the swordfish ravioli was flavorless and dry. Awe full..

Pieces and food!

By Sophi B |

Bonefish grill is a cozy place... it has a super nice bar area and full dinning room. Their specialty is seafood... grill seafood to be precise as their name implies. They usually have a Cath of the day specials as well as an every day menu. Prices here are high for quality of food.... don't get me wrong, the fish is usually good but sides are another story. Their crab rice, salad among others are lacking in presentation and flavor.

Not good for the price

By Dan S |

Went here with family for dinner Sunday night. Place had lots of empty tables. Lots of tables were unbused or not set. We were given a table partially set with table cloth but no silverware. We figured the bus boy was out that day. Ordered sirloin with crab cake. Steak was undercooked. Sent steak back and ate the crab. Steak arrived 10 minutes later slightly more cooked but much more seasoned. Too salty. So my surf and turf turned into a crab appetizer and separate steak snack. Went to the restroom and it had not need serviced either. Paper towels all over floor and no soap. Guess that guy didn't come to work either. This would all be expected if this was IHOP or Applebees, but bonefish is a higher end restaurant with three times the price of cheap chain food I expect some attention to detail.

Fresh shrimp and scallops!

By Alfred R |

My wife and I visited this particular Bonefish Grill. They have a new shrimp and scallop dinner plate with delicious Spinach and green beans as sides. It all tasted delicious and fresh.

Great meal

By cmcjec |

We had a large party and the service was excellent. Every meal came out at the same time, cooked to perfection for 24 people. Steak and crabcake were delicious. Martini was very dirty! Prices were reasonable.

My family been to this restaurant a few times, but last night was a disaster. Quality of food was bad, the pace was slow and the atmosphere a nightmare. A party of 6 had the place upside down, many of the people attending made several complaints to the servers and the manager but nothing was done, at the end everybody was cheering when they left. The manager didn’t handle the situation well causing uncomfortable dinner...not going back and don’t recommend this place for quiet families...

Terrific Service and Great Food

By Audrey F |

I think only the 'locals' know about the Bang-Bang Shrimp special on Wednesdays evenings--it wasn't listed on the "Daily Specials" sheet and it was fantastic in flavor and presentation. Our server, Raul D, made our visit super enjoyable too. He laughed as we tried to decide among the 6 of us what dishes we would be sharing and how many of them to order. The crab cakes were absolutely wonderful and a nice sized entrée too. One of the daily specials was guacamole with crab and a mango salsa that I sure wish I could figure out the full recipe -- it was delicious.

Good Seafood bad everything else

By Aaayron |

Stopped in here for dinner on a Sunday night. Not crowded at all for primetime Sunday evening. I was not in the mood for seafood even though my wife was. She ordered the scallops and shrimp while I ordered the pork chop with cheese and prosciutto. the waiter must have been new because after we ordered, he made me point to the menu to shown him what we wanted. We each had a glass of wine. A merlot from Sonoma and a Cab from Napa. The waiter of course mixed them up. I thought that merlot was a little strong, but we figured it out. No bread yet. salads arrived, cold and crisp. still no bread. After asking twice, we finally got bread just as we finished our salads. Entrees arrived. My wife's scallops and shrimp were very good as was the couscous. However my pork chop was burnt on one side with the cheese over it in a poor attempt to hide the hard burnt crust that my steak knife struggled to cut through. I was so hungry, I did not send it back, although I should have. I scraped off the cheese, cut away the 1/8 inch of burnt crust and continued. The chop was no chop, but a piece of shoulder or pork leg or something. Lots of fat and no bone. And they must have added salt in addition to the prosciutto, because it was salty salty salty. And then there was the so called marsala sauce with burnt black chunks of whole garlic cloves. But now the French green beans. After all, who could screw up green beans? I am not used to crunchy raw green beans. Boys, the water is supposed to boil and then you put the beans in for 30 seconds. How hard is that? But the potatoes were at leased half way cooked through and were mostly edible once you picked out the raw hard chunks of potato that were not cooked all the way. It is obvious that whoever supervises this kitchen on Sundays is not doing their job. For those of you who choose to brave bonefish grill. Stick to the seafood and you should be ok. But those in your party who are not seafood lovers will not enjoy their meal. I did not complain as the waiter only seemed to care about flirting with the hostess girls, who I might add, watched us walk right past them and out the door without so much as a thank you, come again. Nothing. We won't be back. Not even if someone else is buying. I would rather get a to go order from Wing Stop next door.

Good food reasonably priced

Beware of the fish tacos!

By Luisgina |

For some reason- the Weston location popped up in my review request....this review is for the KENDALL location. The fish tacos at brunch were rotten-literally! ...and smelled awful. Unfortunately for me, I realized it after eating a bite...and paid for it later with a horrendous stomach ache. Management was apologetic and comp'd an appetizer (nice for my family...not so much for me). This was my second 'rotten fish' incident at this restaurant - A few months ago, I was served a grilled fish filet that smelled of bleach (fortunately, I noticed in time). The servers were excellent during both visits...which was the only reason I decided to give it another try. Won't make it a third time...that's for sure. Disappointing. :-(

Blueberry Sangria

By Edmund438 |

Nice atmosphere and conveniently located in West Kendall. Very good food at very reasonable prices. Arrived early evening, group of 5. Only problem was that waitress didn't pick up appetizer dishes until we flagged her down and asked her to do so. Wasn't very busy at that time. Attention to customers.

Best Crab Cakes in Miami

By ali m |

Crab cakes are particularly delicious and enjoyable, and the great six jumbo coconut shrimp in a thick sweet teriyaki glaze are to die for. The service was off on my latest visit, but the food brought to us was so good, you seem to forget about the bad service. Great overall, and highly recommended for a formal, yet colorful meal.

Seafood Cooked to Perfection

By Catherine M |

My husband and I enjoyed an early bird Father's Day dinner. There was no wait but the restaurant was packed. The waitress was very knowledgeable and helped us select the best option on the extensive menu. Plenty of sides such as spinach and coleslaw for those who are watching their carbs, and the calories are helpfully printed after each dish. There are also chicken and steak for those who don't want seafood. One caveat: even the specials are "pricey", e.g. around $23, but well worth the money. Our wait time was a little long, but every table was full and we were having a good time visiting. Also, the bread is fresh baked with olive oil dipping sauce, and the waitress checked on us frequently to get more bread and refresh our drinks.

Caught by this Bonefish

By diane l |

We have been back to this particular Bonefish many times on shopping trips up from the Florida Keys, or on way back to the Keys from visiting family in Boca Raton. There is a reason we stop here often. Most of the Bonefish Grills we visit are friendly and serve good food on a regular and consistent basis, especially for a franchise. This particular Bonefish has more character and a wonderful sense of friendliness not often encountered in many other restaurants, let alone a franchise with multiple places throughout the South East. It all starts with the welcoming hostesses and hosts at the door and extends to the owner-manager Diego Trotz who has put together a well trained staff, comfortable with what they do and who seem to be happy to care for their customers. Last week we encountered Gabriel M as our server who could not have been more pleasant and more concerned for our comfort and for our enjoyment of dinner. While the food is pretty much high quality and delicious in the many Bonefish Grills we have enjoyed, of special note here was a very sincere attempt to make us feel welcome and to provide us with the best service we have had in a while. My Wife and I shared an order of their "Bang Bang Shrimp', delicious fried shrimp soaked in what was once a secret sauce but has since been deciphered to include several spices, siracha?, pepper, mayonnaise and other 'stuff' that makes it impossible to resist. Ahi tuna rare and well presented, and even their salads are crisp and plentiful. But good food or not, it is the service that makes this Bonefish terrific, and to all the staff we have experienced especially Gabriel M, we truly appreciate their dedication and expertise!

Chimichuri filet

By Wild Miami |

Bonefish at 120th street in Miami usually has good food. Last night I tried the new special of chimichuri filet. It tasted VERY sour. I scraped off the chimichuri sauce and ate the meat, but it was also sour from the sauce. I got sick when I got home last, and I am also sick today. Don't order it!!!

Great food!

By Marcella R |

We have always had a great meal and service each time we dine. They do everything to make your dining experience pleasurable. I suggest to make resevervations on weekends.

Fresh fish creatively prepared!!

By Steve F |

Welcome addition to West Kendall, dinners all are artfully-prepared. Fresh fish and great combos; enjoy appetizers, soup, salads and save room for dessert!

Great seafood

By Sam |

If you are looking for a great service, good and delicious seafood, then you should visit this place. It was so good that we went back within 2 days. I appreciate top level service, and this place has it all.

What has happened?

By HND30 |

We went for lunch after the rush and the service was poor and slow. We ordered a soup, appetizer and entree and asked the waiter to bring the soup and appetizer together but it did not come out that way. The soup was salty and cold. Our waiter was absent and the server had no idea what the issue was. We ate the appetizer of dumplings quickly and then went onto eat the fish sandwich which was small and tasteless. When the waiter finally came back and asked was everything alright,we pointed out the issues but he did not care at all. He basically left the check and ran. The only nice thing about this lunch was the hostess who was pleasant and seemed to be doing everyone’s job! We have eaten here before but will not be returning.

Our first visit

By halterp11 |

We took a group of nine family members and our experience was good with some small problems. The menu offers a good selection and you can find a meal to fit most budgets if that is a concern for you. The first observation was that the entrance, exit and wait area is all one and the same and not well thought out. Once past that the ambiance is nice-but the service is just fair. For example each of us had a couple beverages and the empty glasses were not removed during our time there. The server that took our order got 2 of the 8 entrees incorrect and did not offer to correct it! While most of the food was very good, the service needs to improve or they will lose customers. In Miami there are too many awesome seafood restaurants too get away for long with lackluster and just plain poor service! The macaroni and cheese is awesome however as was the Ahi Appetizer.

Awesome

By DianBa |

I enjoyed the quality of the food. The portions were also pretty large. Service was exceptional. I would like to go again.

I have always had a good experience at all the ones I have been to.

By Surfsid |

Good service, good food, very crowded. Plan to wait outside on line on the weekends. It is located in large shopping center, with plenty of parking.

Great food, poor service

By David G |

It is a shame that the food quality does not match with the service. We begged for wine and water, the waitress in charge expended almost half an hour talking s...... with people seated next to us forgeting about the rest of the clients. She never offered dessert or coffe , and the minimum tip she was expecting was 18%, ridiculous !!!!

Nice early dinner

By Chiefvr |

The corn chowder soup was delicious as always. The mahi mani was also very good. The service was OK.

Highly recommended!

By Chona C |

My family of four came for an early dinner. The place had a nice ambiance and looked clean. The food was very good and delicious. My husband commented about his salmon as "melting in his mouth". Our server was Raul and he did an excellent job. Unlike other restaurants where the aroma of the kitchen sticks to your clothes, at Bone Fish Grill this doesn't happen. You leave the place still smelling good. I highly recommend this place. My family and I would surely go back to this place.

Excellent Salmon

By Gregory J |

My wife went to the SW 120th Street location in Kendall, Florida, last week. As usual, we ordered the Atlantic Salmon, which in our opinion is the best fish on their menu. Regardless, of which location we go to, the Salmon is always served to our liking. The staff is alway cordial and the service is great.

Surprisingly good

By TobyBlades |

I had a soup and Fish Tacos Very very good. Lots of healthy choices on the menu. The place was clean, the service was perfect. This is a spot that I am going to have to come back to!

Best Mussels

By manodetrapo |

We had dinner at Bonefish Grill Friday 17 July 2015. While it appeared it was very crowded (Friday evening crowd), the 5 of us were seated promptly. For appetizers, we enjoyed the best Mussels we have ever had (Mussels Josephine); they were very tasty in a flavorful sauce of tomatoes, red onion, garlic, basil, lemon and wine. We also had fried calamari and while they were crispy and tasty, the portion was very small. We also had Sea Bass, Scallops, Ahi Tuna, Lobster Tail and Shrimp. Overall food was very good. The cocktails were excellent with the Cosmopolitan taking 1st place. The service was AMAZING. Justin was our server and he was extremely pleasant, attentive, funny, accommodating and very professional. The cocktails, appetizers and food were all served at the right time and without any rush. Overall, we had a great experience at the Bonefish Grill in Miami at 120th Street.

Great place for seafood

Great service, quality and quantity of portions, and atmosphere

By annaralvarez |

I went with a friend on the Saturday night before Mother's Day wihtout a reservation. We were greeted very cordially and proceded to sit at the bar. The wait was about 20 minutes (they had told us 40) so we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere, service and food was excellent.

Very good food,and service.

By Chris T |

Seafood is excellent. Service is very good. atmosphere is very pleasant also. very clean place. music is low. not a noisy place.

Great Appetizers and Cocktails

By meg3768 |

I go to the location on SW 8 street and 142 Ave. We usually sit at the bar or the tables in the bar area and enjoy appetizers and a cocktail. The bacon wrapped sea scallops and the coconut shrimp are my favorite. The shrimp are huge and come with a nice sweet sauce. The martini i always have us the ocean trust mango martini. Its not too strong but mellows you out as a cocktail should. I highly recommend Bonefish for appetizers and cocktails!! Its a great hangout with friends.

Poor brunch choice

By Arthur T |

Had the Sunday brunch , menu was low on items. Ordered a western omelet. Wasn't western more a south western tasted like an egg shell taco. Expensive and not worth the time. I'd pass for brunch.

Ladies Night...

Great meal

My second trip there this year - big improvement. Excellent salad and entree - grilled brussel sprouts were a meal in themselves. Rum coconut pie was yummy. Fast efficient service. Bathroom needed a good cleaning!

Fantastic service, great food, good location

By MJ778 |

We were served by Gabriel M. He was very professional, informative, passionate about his job. Friendly and made our experience memorable. We order two soft shell crab appetizers who where huge and delicious. Total home runs. We recommend this restaurant for everyone, any age. It is very well located, with plenty parking inside a Shopping Mall. The cuisine is American, seafood and they do offer gluten free dishes. Their home ciabatta warm bread with their pesto is a killer! See my photos posted. We had visited this restaurant before, it is one of our Family favorite. This restaurant also offers great variety of side orders, soups, and they do have wood-grilled steaks, chops, lamb, for the meat lovers. If you ask for Gabriel you will for sure have an amazing memorable service. They have their menu available in the outside for your convenience. They do accept reservations, because they do get very busy, but you can always walk in. They have a Sunday BrunchWe shall return soon.

Delicious and Fresh food

By Elizabeth Guerrero Miami Realtor |

I went today with my clients and they were so happy with the restaurant's ambiance and service. Our waiter was amazing. We ordered steak, lobster, mash potato, crab cakes and broccoli. We also had to have the BANG BANG SHRIMP! For dessert we had creme brulee and coconut creme pie. I will be returning. Everything was excellent.

Reliably good food and service

By mwooduk |

We only come here 1-2 times a year for special occasions as it's pretty pricey but as always the food was delicious and our server was attentive. We started with the Bang Bang shrimp and then each of us had a different menu item - and all of us were happy with our choices. I advised our server it was my friend's birthday but they did not give her a birthday desert or do anything special which I thought was odd but maybe they don't offer birthday treats at Bonefish Grill? Anyway we had a lovely evening, there was an issue with one of the restrooms but the staff handled it with dignity as it was quite awkward. I had a 25% discount coupon from AMEX which was accepted easily which meant we didn't have to pay for one entree which helped with the bill quite a bit! Reservation was made on line ahead of time and the whole process was painless and I would highly recommend you make a reservation. This place is crowded every night of the week!

Smaller portions every time I return

The Chilean Sea Bass used to have two options. I used to order the regular (larger) portion. Now, there’s no choice and I’m being charged for regular and the portion is half the size.

Excellent!

By Snottycat |

Huge variety of seafood choices! The mussel appetizer is AMAZING!! Great menu for kids and non seafood lovers! Full bar ! Warning make reservations all ways a wait it's that good

Great value

By Charlesq1975 |

This is a very good restaurant to go to with kids. The service is good. The wine list is good. The food is very good. It's not gourmet dining but when it comes to a fresh seafood restaurant for families this is a good choice. It's better than Red Lobster (although they have improved). The fresh ceviche was awesome!!! it had a hint of ginger that was a great touch. i had the grilled local grouper with fresh green beens which was perfect. My wife had the ahi tuna which was great. The kids' meals were good as well. For dessert you have to get the chocolate brownie because they make it on site. - Cheers

Love their soup.

By Chiefvr |

Had dinner with my wife and really loved their soup. The employees were very friendly. The food was very good. Have been there before and will definitely return.

Against oblivion

By Julio F |

When we arrived at the place and the hostess was bad I told him that we came to celebrate a birthday that with a happiness and a little sweet was enough..... NOTHING, what was my surprise that you forgot, as you forgot to bring a second beer and bring it at the end of the meal it seems that the workers of the place have bad memory... in short pay the bad memory of both with 14% of the bill.... BONE FISH, BAD MEMORY...

Go Heat! $5 Tropical Heat Martini Mondays!

By Captain Charles G |

What better way to watch the Miami Heat then here at the local Bonefish wirh Johanna and a $5 Tropical Heat Martini on Martini Mondays!

Enjoyable evening with great seafood.

By DRMc1946 |

We dined here for my wife's birthday as a "date night". While the restaurant was busy on a Friday night, we were seated pretty quickly. All of our seafood was fresh, and the sides were fresh and flavorful. Wait staff was attentive and kitchen was prompt in producing our food. We did notice that there was a sizeable wait for people arriving after 7:30, and the restaurant was packed. Either arrive early or make a reservation if you mind waiting!

Best place in Kendall

By Mauricio D |

Great place for family or date. The food is always cooked well and the service is superior.

Disappointed no bang bang Wednesday

By Miranda W |

They have stopped the Wednesday special bang bang shrimp. Very disappointed. This was a drawing card to come in and buy drinks which is where the money is. Food good but will not be back. Our waitress was awesome!

Bang-Bang Scrimp Ugh!

By fun-phaeton |

My wife brought me home Bang-Bang Shrimp after dining at the Bonefish Grill. The take-out bang-bang shrimp (see picture) do not even qualify as “turds”, being not only dry and shriveled but half the size of those I have encountered in the restaurant. Apparently take-out orders do not matter. I have dined at the Bonefish Grill numberous times and have even provided a positive review. Apparently I was wrong or maybe the quality has just declined. I called to complain and was told “we want to make it right”. I requested a “proper” order of bang-bang shrimp be delivered to my residence, but was told NO. I was then told the cost of the “turds” could be refunded. Or I could come and get another order, which would result in additional cost to me. With so many GREAT eateries in Asheville why go to the Bonefish Grill?

Tasty food, fun atmosphere

By anadiaz00 |

This is an informal restaurant, family friendly, good to go have drinks, eat all types of seafood or American food, watch sport games at the bar TV, eat sashimi at high tables, have good service, and just a fun and relaxed time. Be sure to order the chips as side order option, they are fabulous!!

Does not fail to disappoint

By Delatorrellc |

Living nearby, every few months we decide to give this restaurant another opportunity. Unfortunately it delivers on mediocrity or worse consistently. Poorly trained staff, wrong temperatures, bland food, etc. the only thing driving these reviews are that there really is no seafood restaurant nearby.

Lies and soggy fries

By Oldfart3000 |

I called at 1:15 and asked if the restaurant was crowded and did I need a reservation. I was told yes and yes. I busted my hump to get there by 1:30 (I live close) only to find that the restaurant was 30% full with immediate seating for walk ins. Nevertheless we both wanted some fish so we ordered: she a grouper sandwich; me fish and chips and a Cesar salad. Service was slow but acceptable. When the food arrived the fish was very good, but my chips and her fries were not recently cooked which made them soggy. Also, no Tabasco just something Mexican thing called Cholula, which tasted a little musty and was not hot.

Overpriced, plain cooking

By Rafael Q |

We ordered a sirloin steak in the menu advertised at 8 Oz, what it came was a thin slice of a sirloin steak, much small that the 8 Oz of the menu, the sides, rice and mashed potatoes we very simple, no elaborate cooking at all, tasteless Also ordered was the tuna steak or should I call it MINI steak, after e0 years of traveling and eating put this steak got the award of the smallest tuna steak I have ever seen. Also not elaborate at all. Very plain. Side like before mas potatoes and rice super plain, no taste them. Dessert coconut pie was like eating a coconut right of the tree. Maybe they lost the recipe. Overall the food quality was very low and the portions super small even for a small appetite person like my wife. The bill for these two items, the mentioned dessert, 2 beers and iced tea, a whopping $ 108. I would suggest you use you money wisely and go to almost anything restaurant in SoMiami or Coral Gables where you will have a better meal.

Great place to eat

By photoggirl1000 |

The staff are all very friendly and the restaurant is clean and nicely furnished. The food is very good and they cook to order. I wanted a scallop/shrimp dish without shrimp so they gave me extra scallops. Our waiter was great- memorized all of our dinners with changes and got it all right without writing anything down. For four of us, each with drinks and one shared appetizer, the bill came to $88.

Exceptional

By rola733 |

We enjoyed the ceviche, crab cakes and salad with salmon and the key lime pie! Service was excellent. Atmosphere very pleasant. Look forward to returning.

So Good

By Robbie G |

We like to eat in the lounge because there’s never a wait and the service is always excellent….i think it’s impossible to get a bad meal here, and the GM “Ash” makes sure of that…..he visited our table 3 times to make sure everything was perfect, and it was……the bourbon salmon is second to none ……I got the Mexican sweet corn as one of my sides and it was delicious 😋…..my wife got the seared tuna and it was equally delicious……if you haven’t been to this Bonefish I would suggest you go and you will not be disappointed…..

Always good food and service

By ray raposo |

Bonefish Grill has become my wife's favorite restaurant. There are 2 locations we visit: On 142 Avenue & SW 8th Street and this one on 125 Avenue and 120th Street. Both offer the same high quality seafood, and separate bar area. The salmon, the trout, any fish dish is cooked well. Don't miss the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer, delish. I also like the Shrimp Pad Thai, spicy but great.

It's Like A New Jersey Greek Diner, Only Much Darker

By Retired_Miami |

We have been eating for years at this Bonefish Grill since it opened. The food is always consistent, not saying that once in awhile you get a bummer of a meal or lousy service. Recently the corporate brain dead greedy honchos decided they had to change the decor and squeeze in as many tables in order to squeeze as many clams or oysters to the bottom line. If you have ever eaten at a Greek Diner in New Jersey, the new Bonefish Grill decor is much worse and the menus are much smaller than those diners, and the new Bonefish is so dark inside that one would think the corporate reason is for the diners not to be able to spot a roach or some other thing that does not belong in the meal! The waiters and customers have very little room to maneuver to be seated or for the meals to be delivered. Obviously, the brains that came up with the new decor do not want any plump customers that have been on a cruise!! Yes, the Bang Bang Shrimp and other appetizers, soup and salads, Kobe beef burgers and tacos, fish, steaks, bowls, baked chicken, lobsters, stone crabs in season, deluxe sides, and desserts are very tasty. The wine selection is large. The noise level is now over the top, forcing this loyal diner who used to dine several times a month at Bonefish to now dine at the most, once a month.

OOOPPS They did it again !!!!!!

By Bruce P |

I Just Would Like To Say This Place Is At Its Best. The Customer Oh My !!! -The Customer Is Outstanding. The Food Was Great Like Always, But We Had This One Server Her Name Is Karisa, Oh My !!! She Is One The Best Servers We Have Ever Had At Any Restaurant. For All The Tables She Had, She Made Us Feel Like We Where The Only Ones There Which We Were Not ( FULL HOUSE). You Can Hear Other Customers At The Restaurants Talking About How Good Of A Server She Is. That's Talent !!! I Asked Her To Call Her Manager Over Because I Needed To Give Her A Accommodation. Great Job Bonefish.

Unacceptable Treatment at Bonefish Gril - 12520 SW 120th St, Miami, Fl 33186

By Elbio L |

My wife and I have been loyal customers of Bonefish Grill for nearly 20 years, and we have also been Dine Rewards members for many years. We have consistently chosen your restaurants because of the quality of service and respect shown to guests until today. We had a confirmed reservation for 6:45 PM, arriving with the expectation of enjoying a peaceful and pleasant evening. Upon being seated, we politely asked if a particular waitress could take care of our table. At that moment, we were abruptly and rudely interrupted by the restaurant manager, Mr. Ash, who stated in a very disrespectful tone that this waitress could not serve us because she was performing other functions. The issue, however, was not the staffing decision itself, but rather the manner in which Mr. Ash addressed my wife and me. His tone was improper, dismissive, and unprofessional. He spoke to my wife rudely, offered no greeting, showed no courtesy, and then walked away without so much as a smile or acknowledgment of our presence, despite our long-standing loyalty and having a reservation. Both my wife and I felt deeply disrespected and humiliated by this interaction. As a result, we chose to leave the restaurant immediately, carrying with us a very negative impression and a sense of being completely mistreated. After almost two decades of patronage, this experience was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. Unfortunately, due to this unjustified and disrespectful treatment, we have decided that we will not return to this location or any Bonefish Grill ever again, as this type of behavior from a manager does not reflect the standards of hospitality and respect that your brand claims to uphold. Will take our business to other restaurants for sure.

Food

By Rozez4me |

Food wasn't hot then when reheated it was over cooked. Scallops and shrimp were gritty and over priced not a lot of food.

Prices of spirits have DOUBLED in recent weeks!!!

By italiano7711 |

My wife and I have been going to this Bonefish Grill for drinks and dinner for over 10 years. Even after they re-opened after COVID-19 closures, we went for dinner even with the social distancing table setups. Macallan 12 scotch shots have always been about $10.50. We had dinner last night and ordered three rounds of Macallan each. When the bill came, prices have spiked up to $18.30 per drink. I did complain to the waitress, but she blamed it on COVID and restaurant management. $110 plus tip on just a few drinks it's just ridiculous, even for a restaurant... Remember this restaurant is in Kendall, not Miami Beach or Coral Gables... I would not be having drinks there again.. you can count on that!!

Horrible customer service

By Inspire324232 |

Am beyond disappointed and livid at your establishment. We frequent your location often and have never experienced something like this. We made our reservations online to avoid the wait and were anxiously looking forward to our weekly dinner there. Only to discover the horrific treatment we received today. Upon getting there, there were no issues. I proceeded to say my name and that we had reservations for 8:30 pm. They seated us very quick. However, the tables were very close to each other and our daughter is immune compromised so I kindly told the lady if we could have a booth and we were okay to wait longer for it. Which we were- in no way was I expecting one right away. She went back to the hostess and explained that we were willing to wait for a booth. The hostess then addressed me and asked for my number. I in turn to her- "you should have that information from my reservation". Her response was that I was no longer with a reservation and would need to be put on the waitlist. Honestly, I didn't understand that but didn't even complain instead just decided to wait. Only for a few minutes later to be told by the manager that if we were the ones waiting for the booth and to have a seat. I explained I had been sitting for most of the day and prefer to stand and his response was no you can't stand there you are blocking the entrance although we were not by the door. We were actually by the hostess area making sure to leave space for others guests. At this point I turn to my husband and look back at the hostess and the manager, Ashe. And they are chuckling. I refuse to be treated in this fashion especially after working hard and paying for a meal. I went back up to the hostess area and advised her that I would no longer be waiting since I didn't appreciate to be treated in that fashion. We left and I called from the car to ask for your information. Upon asking for your information the hostess again chuckled, I even asked her what was so funny. Am not sure what is going on there but a loyal customer should never be treated like this. I expected much better treatment.

An absolute gem...

Great quality of Fresh Seafood and Great Service

By Francis R |

Food was delicious! Was here for a mother's day special they had, very convenient prices. Have been coming back ever since. Come here if you are looking for fresh seafood that tastes amazing.

Good seafood

By Andrea C |

Good variety & choice of sauces. Service is very attentive. Seafood portions could be larger for the price.

Consistently good food and bad service

By Lauren S |

The only place you get decent service is at the bar. If you sit in the dining room you will wait 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledges you. Then your order will be wrong, you won’t get everything you, and the servers will make you feel crazy. Literally has happened to us 4+ times. The food is good so sit at the bar.

Bonefish excels

By 0626flora |

Great dinner, as usual, this particular Bonefish location always lives up to expectations. From appetizers to desert, quality shines.

Shrimp

By ckcMIami |

As always the bang bang shrimp was banging! Remember Wednesday's they have a special on the bang bang shrimp! My favorite is the rainbow trout, it is always on point. The service was superb, I have never been disappointed.

Bonefish grill in Langhorne is awesome. They accommodated us in everyway. I eat a special diet and they never have a problem preparing my food the way I request. The staff is always pleasant, friendly and go out of their way to fill your every need. There was 14 of us with 7 sm children. Both waitresses were wonderful.

Love to sit at the Bar!

By Luly |

Friday nights at Bonefish are always a nice way to start the weekend. Great cocktails and delicious menu won't disappoint with so many food choices and preparations. The bartenders are very social, funny and friendly. We love to meet new people and sitting at the bar gives us that opportunity. Keep it Bonefish!

Fish was badly overdone (both orders)

By Gabriel |

Great menu, poor execution. Enjoyable after sending the fish back to be done right - but this is a fish place, come on guys. Tuna and grouper, everyone knows not to overcook those. The creamed spinach was fantastic, though. That was the highlight. Fishcakes were also excellent - that's an appetizer with a great sauce.

Review

By Reviews O |

Great service from Daniel ( Dani ) & food was great! Will definitely be coming back for the salmon and getting a table with Dani!

Below Average!

By Bigdave2359 |

Had a reservation and still had to wait almost 1/2 hour to be seated. The portions are small. They brought out our diner before we were finished with our salad. The tables are really close to each other. Won't go back

Great time

By L C |

Go to dinner here weekly. Always enjoy the food, service, and atmosphere. The mussels appetizer is alwlays great. Always order a different meal for main course, and it's always fantastic. Will continue to go to this restaurant.

Always Good

By camiami |

If I want to impress friends this is where we go,we ask for Will ,the best waiter ever ,and we are assured of a good dining experience. Try the Bang Bang shrimp and you will be back, the desserts are awesome and large enough to share. Okay I've talked myself into it, I'm going NOW.

Good time

By rmpbrasil |

Real friendly place. Not to fast paced to get you out the door. The bang bang shrimp according to my family was very good. I am allergic to shrimp so I did not try. We had to wait 50 minutes to be seated, my fault I should have made reservations, but they had complimentary bang bang shrimps served while we waited to be seated. Denise and the young male waitress serving the bang bang shrimps at the door, were extremely nice. Thank you. The food was excellent. I had the Salmon and my husband had the Trout. If you are planning to go, call ahead and make a reservation so that you don't have to wait.

Consistently good

By Andrea C |

We came on a Tuesday. There are special complete meals starting at $15. The meals include salad, entree, and dessert. There are about 6 choices and price goes up depending on entree chosen. They also now accept AARP card for an additional 15% off the bill. Makes Tuesday the day to go!

Creative Menu

By Dave R |

Although a national chain resturant, when you first walk into the Kendall Fishbone Grill your first impression is of an upscale eatry. Their skilled bartenders quickly offer one of their many tasty concoctions which will set the tone for relaxing conversation with your dinner partner. I love the Bang-Bang appetizer which are shrimp in a gooey tasty sauce!!! (Awesome). We always go with the daily special which guarantees fresh high quality seafood at a reasonable price. Beware that on weekends the place is packed but management has arranged plentiful seating outside, there is waitress service so you can order one of their tasty drinks and let the weekend begin while you quickly forget weekday worries!

Lunch

By Pathfinder543647 |

Always great service and nice atmosphere. I rather sit at the high top near the bar. Less noisy and good service. If you're going to dinner be sure to make reservations. It gets very busy

A nice stop for Lunch

By risitodeplata |

Decided to have lunch with my wife. We hadn't eaten in a Bonefish grill for 12 or 13 years and decided to give it a try. They were doing some remodeling, but everything was clean. We were seated immediately. The waiter was friendly and answered our questions. The meals were delivered fast and the food was good. When in a fish restaurant it is always good to order fish and we did and both dished were good. We have since returned to this restaurant to eat again. And actually tried to stop there a third time but they were closed to finish the remodel that should be done now.

Excellent

By Blake S |

Food and service outstanding. Will.go again.Poke excellent. My cobia was cooked to perfection. First visit. This one was much better than some of the ones visited in the past.

Bad service,worse food.

By Sebastian d |

This is actually the 2nd time this happened to us at Bonefish. Me and my family went in with reservations but still had to wait over an hour. We sat down like around 10pm (almost their closing time) I ordered the 2 lobsters with the filet mignon, lobsters came out completely raw asked to have them well cooked and they brought it back burned, including the meat which was ordered medium well. Waiter refused to take it off out bill, not that we insisted but at least complementary desert would have tried to take the bad taste off our mouths, my husbands salmon was also undercooked and the salad had no dressing..in other words awful I would not recommend anyone to spend their $ here.

Stone Fish Grill

By Dinora S |

I am not sure if this is the correct name, however it is located in Kendall on 120 street. It is a great place for a romantic lunch or dinner. My husband and I went there in January and we were pleased. We have eaten there before and it is always a great place to have a meal. The wait time is minimal. The food takes a while but it is worth the wait. Try their seafood and Italian cuisine. It is located on the corner of the shopping center and easy to find.

Delicious food and outstanding staff and manager

By Matty R |

We often eat at this location and the food is simply scrumptios, it never fails. Ahley the manager is a visible presence always trying to accomodate the needs of the customers. Last night we had a situation where my friend made the reservation for ten at a different location, Ashley immediately set a table for ten and acommodated us. Danielle, our server, was efficient, friendly and simply amazing for a large group like ours. We appreciate such excellent service and congratulate the chef on the delicious meals that we enjoyed!

Had a Gift Card to use

By Edmund438 |

Someone gave us a gift card for Christmas and decided it was time to use it. Nice restaurant easy to find with good parking. Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. We had the haddock which was good and the ceviche which was interestingly delicious and different. The cold blue moon is always good. The only problem, experienced before is slow service even though we were early and only three tables occupied. A large restaurant, but as customers arrived, they placed them all in tables next to us which crowded everyone into a corner of this large restaurant!

Excellent Sea Food

By nikrang |

Great Food , good prices, value for money. Great times with family and friends on various occasions.Alway go there at least twice when in Miami.

Always good.

By pboos |

Despite forgetting to book our reservation our party of six was quickly seated despite the restaurant being very busy. All the food ordered was excellent.Service spot on.Great ambience. One of the best places to eat in south Miami. Good value too.

Worst birthday dinner

By Laura S |

Came here last night for my boss's birthday dinner with his family and it was a horrible dining experience. Our server was either high and couldn't do his job, or he just shouldn't be a server at all. He messed up one of our orders, the filet mignon, and without even apologizing or asking if we wanted something else instead, he simply took it and didn't come back for 10 minutes to tell us they were making a new one. We waited and waited, by that point everyone else had eaten except the one who ordered the filet mignon. By the time we had paid, her dinner hadn't even come out yet. Of course, they CHARGED us for the meal, you know, the meal one of the people at the table ordered and had yet to eat. By this point my boss was furious, his two kids (2 and 4) we're getting irritated of sitting down for such a long time and were basically screaming, one of the people at the table hadn't even had dinner, our server was clueless and missing, and of course, they had charged us. He decided to call the manager over, Demonte, who was also clueless and told us that "had he been aware" of the issue he would've tried to handle it. Seriously? What kind of management oversees this restaurant? He then proceeded to offer us vouchers for NEXT TIME and a slice of key lime pie... Mind you, a SLICE. Overall, my boss walked out of the restaurant saying this had been the worst birthday dinner he had ever had. What was supposed to be a delicious and fun night out with friends and family turned into a headache. I doubt we be coming back anytime soon, at least not while Demonte is working and overseeing the restaurant.

Awesome food and service

First time we have ever gone to a Bonefish. The bread was awesome, the service fast and the food DELICIOUS. Order the bang bang shrimp app. Yum!

Bonefish Grill- Miami

The food was great but the service was better I appreciate the extra effort. My wife and I ate twice there the food and service was that good.

Consistently good food

My husband and I love the bang bang shrimp. It’s great every visit! That is the only menu item that we have eaten that is worth going back for.

Martini Monday's - Best $5 hand crated drinks in town!

By Captain Charles G |

Can't beat the price especially for $5 hand crated designer martini's. The food, service, and ambiance are great as well the hand crafted drinks from Adrian and Johanna behind the bar.

Great Meal

By Fred W |

Second time we have been to a Bonefish and this second experience didn't disappoint. We shared the Mussels appetizer and it was so filling that all we had for a second tasting was the Coconut Shrimp appetizer. Both items were wonderful. Also have to note that they make a fine cocktail. Very attentive service at the bar.

Don't skip dessert!

By JAX B |

Came with my family for dinner on a Friday night and was very pleased with everything. The place gets very busy on Friday's so I highly recommend call-ahead seating. My husband I and got the special of grouper and shrimp and loved it. Best of all was dessert...creme brûlée! The BEST! The coconut cake is amazing too. Don't skip dessert when you come here.

Great Go To Dinner

By phyl22 |

Bonefish Grill can always be counted on for a great dinner. Delicious, fresh food with lots of options (great for Weight Watchers) as well as friendly, efficient staff. They take reservations and now have a rewards program. All bonuses. Would eat there anyway!

My wife finally met her match.

By blackfootcamp |

We were vacationing here in Miami with my brother and his wife. Bonefish Grill was on my brothers wife wishlist and there happened to be one right down the street from the condo we’re renting. My wife an I have always loved the Bonefish grill. It’s got a simple elegance and all the white table cloths make a great impression. We were there early, as is our style and were greeted by some very enthusiastic employees who showed us to a great booth and then Edwin thoroughly explained the menu to my brothers wife. There was the openers of focaccia bread and olive oil and then there were the margaritas. My wife is somewhat of a margarita expert, she has drank them all over the world. But here, I think she finally met her match. After several sips she started to smack her lips and her eyes rolled back into her head and she explained in a raspy voice.....I think this is the best margarita I’ve ever had. That statement obviously led to the consumption of several more. Meanwhile, the rest of us enjoyed Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos and fish and chip dinners. The meals, like the margaritas, were expertly prepared and presented . And also like the margaritas they were quickly dispatched .

Superb!

By SandraD75 |

Excellent place, we usually meet up with our sister and brother in law for dinner at least once or twice a month. Love the Bang Bang Shrimp and the Bacon wrapped Scallops and of course always pair it with a Hpnotiq Martini! Awesome ambiance and the service is always good!

Great late lunch

By AlexdvRN |

I found a BG gift card that was given to me years back and decided to go and have a late lunch and ordered one of their specials. The catch of the day wild north Atlantic Haddock was perfectly seasoned and grilled, moist with a little crunchy little bread crumbs sprinkled since I had the butter sauce on the side. The fresh grapefruit martini was awesome and the food service was excellent.

Terrible place to eat or order from.

By Danny L |

Wow, that's all i can say.... I have been a devoted customer to Bonefish on SW 120th Street since they opened. This was the last time I ever eat there!!!! Let me start by saying all the corporate changes have not been for better, they suck! The tuna app, the bread, the potatoes augratin, etc., etc. I use to tell people all the time, that I never had a bad meal at Bonefish! Not anymore, the food sucks! And the inability to get an order right is incredible! The managers should be fired! As far as the food, the tuna is FISHY, it tastes like bait, over and over again! The Salmon tastes like bait, over and over again! We just ordered, the tortilla chips that go with my fishy tuna were freaking stale, and inedible!!!! Are you kidding me!!!!! No oil for the bread...... I am sad to say, I hope Bonefish closes down, because if you are going to serve crap, you don't deserve to be open....

Nice place BUT

By WelllllEnuff |

Incredibly overly, heavily, intensely salted food shockingly defies any and all concepts of quality control! How can the chef not be aware?

Great food and service

By Striker2106 |

This is a great resturant if you want good service and great food. Our server, Justin, was so attentive and although the place was full made us feel special. The Kobe beef burger was good, as was the Grouper sandwich and the bacon wrapped scallops. The prices are very reasonable and not out of reach for a family especially if a special occassion. We will return!

Unbelievably fine!

By WelllllEnuff |

Hospitable and attentive service, complemented by excellent fare — flame grilled snapper with tangy poblano | citrus sauce, perfectly prepared string beans and spinach; flame grilled chicken breast with goat cheese, also perfect; Lamb Lollipop appetizer well seasoned, could've been leaner. Never expected this superb quality from chain restaurant!

redemption

By Bruce A |

Last night's dinner was excellent. My previous dinner experience was disappointing and we said so; but have withdrawn the report because last night was so good. The food excellent, the waitress the best, and the manager very nice. Maybe the prior dinner report(withdrawn) was disappointing because I ordered the grouper baked and not grilled. It, therefore ,did not taste fresh. I have been informed all fish on the menu is fresh and now I believe it.

Thumbs up

By LysaN66 |

Second time visiting this place. The food is pretty good. I had the ahi tuna with jasmine rice and it was great. Our servers was really nice and had great recommendations

Pleasant atmosphere but not up to expectations.

By Gayle B |

This is the second time I've dined at Bonefish Grill. The atmosphere is pleasant and the wait staff both friendly and efficient. The food was not as good as my last meal there. Not bad, but nothing special for the price.

Felt ripped off

By Susy P |

Ordered $200 worth of take out (dinner for 8 people). The food portions were very small. For example, the rice, which was a side with the fish, was, at most, a couple of heaping tablespoons. The 4 men in the dinner party definitely did not get enough to eat. It was very embarrassing!

Food and service are consistently good - MANAGEMENT of this location is EXCELLENT

By Capt-Adi |

Bonefish Grill has consistently well prepared, fresh fish with lots of "specials" for variety -- and the even have a VERY NICE hamburger platter and Lilly's Chicken for those who don't do fish -- their sushi-grade Tuna appetizer is always fresh and a generous portion. For those with a smaller appetite, any of the SALAD platters with a smaller portion of fish are just right. Try the Jamaican coconut custard pie if you have room for desert!

Poor quality of food

I ordered a salad which seemed to take forever. Then I ordered a mahi-mahi, which was super hard and overcooked, and I sent it back. They brought me another one which was a bit softer, but very bland and exceptionally plain for the price I was paying. My cousin ordered the chicken, marsala, and what they gave him grilled chicken with some type of barbecue sauce on top. They did comp his meal, because honestly they knew that it was not chicken marsala. My mahi-mahi stayed on the bill, despite it being equally awful. Needless to say, I will not be back as I did not enjoy the meal at all.

Good food, drinks and ambiance

My husband and I have come to Bonefish Grill on a few occasions and have always had an enjoyable time. Whether it is meeting up with friends or dinner just by ourselves we have a good time. We have always come in the evenings and parking is usually available. Sometimes it is crowded, but the wait for a table is never really that long. If we do have to wait we usually grab a drink at the bar while we wait. On our most recent visit I tried the Blackberry Sangria, which was delicious, if you are into sweet drinks. We also tried for an appetizer shrimp that was topped with lobster in a delicious cream sauce. The server brought out some warm bread with an olive oil and pesto type sauce to dip it in while we waited for our entrees. I picked the wood-grilled Atlantic Salmon in a mango salsa sauce with a side of mashed potatoes and the seasonal vegetable. I wish I would have known what the seasonal vegetable was because I did not like the string squash that much and would have liked to get something else instead. My husband went with one of the winter menu specials -- Lobster Thermidor on Mahi (a piece of Mahi covered with lobster and crab meat in a cream sauce). The fish is always very fresh and has a great flavor. I usually like to get something sweet to finish off a good meal so we shared the cookies and cream flatbread, which is a new item on their dessert menu. It is baked flat bread with a whipped cream topping and crumbled pieces of Oreo cookie and chocolate drizzle. So good! Overall we are always happy with the service and food.

Real Fish!

When in Miami, FL. if you want real fish, from the ocean not a lake you must go to Bonefish Grill. Exquisite dishes from grouper to Chilean sea-bass prepared to perfection. The atmosphere is elegant and romantic and the staff is very professional. A bit pricey but not more than any other upscale restaurant, in fact better.

Very good service

Excellent service by Elizabeth who was very patient as my lunch guest was late arriving! We both had a drink, my friend had a Mojito and I had a glass of wine which was delicious. Elizabeth bought bread before the meal and we both had the crabcake with lobster tail which comes with two side dishes. I had fresh vegetables and sautéed spinach which was delicious. The meal was fabulous, however for lunch the price is pretty steep at $26 per person for this particular entree. However the staff are top-notch, and the atmosphere was nice and peaceful.

Delicious

Great Food, slow service

On a business trip and was a part of a party of 13. Table ready upon arrival. We had 8 appetizers of which all were good with my favorite the Bang Bang Shrimp and the Calamari. I ordered Crab crusted Alaskan Cod, broccoli, and White truffle macaroni and cheese. Winner!!!! I would order this over and over again. Only complaint was the service. The sloth-like pace would have been painful had the business talk and get-to-know-you chit chat filled the time.

Great seafood

My husband and I have eaten at Bonefish Grill ever since they opened in Kendall. We had been looking for a quality restaurant in our neighborhood and this is it! the pan Asian salmon is wonderful as is their house salad. Everything we have ordered has been outstanding including thie house bread. We recently tried the coleslaw and were NOT disappointed. It has an Asian dressing which is unusual and very good.

Great food.

First time here went with appetizers since it's was 9pm, to give it a try. The freshness and quality of the food was outstanding. My wife and I had the Bam Bam shrimp and I had mussels with garlic lemon sauce and tomatoes it was delicious. The bread was great and plentiful along with the drinks. I most certainly will be back to try seafood dishes.

Fantastic food and service

Everytime I have gone to Bonefish I have been pleased. I use to live in Fl and now live in Texas where there is only one Bonefish up by Houston, where I do not live. Everytime I go to Fl I make it a point to eat at Bonefish. The bread is always hot, the appetizers are just yummy and o my goodness the seafood is to die for. I mean the fish was plump, tender, and juicy. I finished it off with their no flour added brownie. After tasting this brownie I can not enjoy another brownie like I did this one. It was warm, had warm fudge, ice cream, whip cream, and was topped off with macademia nuts. All ingredients complimented each other. The service was wonderful. The waiter always made sure we were ok and he was very pleasant. I am definitely returning.

Pleasantly Surprised

My husband and I went here on a whim for our anniversary. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a nice place. The food was fresh, service was awesome, and it is not too pricey. I loved my first visit to Bonefish and it definitely wont be my last.

Never Againb

We went to dinner there on Wednesday night. We were seated and a few minutes another couple was seated next to us. I was amazed how quick they were taken care of. After about 10 minutes sitting there we had to flag down a waitress so we could order a drink. Finally the drinks were brought to us and a glass of water. After a long wait the waitress finally returned to take our orders. As we sat there waiting for our appetizers were were in need for both more water and drinks The waitress finally showed up and took our orders for drinks. Appetizers finally were brought to us, but not even water was served. Again finally water was brought to the table. Eventually my wife's drink was brought to us. I was still waiting for my beer. All this time I could see the 2 managers peering out at the tables. After another 10 minutes another waitress asked me if I was waiting for a beer and I said yes. She told me they were out of the beer I wanted. So I had to order another type that I didn't like. Our waitress finally brought the beer and told me they were out of the one I was drinking. I told her I knew that but why didn't she tell me that earlier. No answer. I told her I couldn't believe how bad the service was. When the dinners came out, the vegetables were cold and the meat looked like they took scraps from peoe leftovers. She had no answer. We were disgusted by now so we got our bill and I told my wife she did not deserve a tip. My wife felt bad and gave her a tip. I call it rewarding bad behavior and service and disgusting food. We will never recommend or will we ever return there again.

Great food always. The bang bang shrimp and corn chowder soup was delicious! The drinks are amazing and the service is always friendly. Bonefish is our favorite for special occasions.

Hidden in a strip mall but always great food

Bonefish Grill has always served great food at great prices in a dining experience that, even though it is a chain restaurant,it is a chain that I like and I have never had a bad dining experience at any Bonefish Grill. The fresh baked bread served with olive oil and pesto is always a great start at Bonefish. I like to add a little salt and pepper to the olive oil to jazz it up a little. And for anyone new to Bonefish, you have got to try the bang bang shrimp. On this particular dining experience we decided on two different types of tacos so we should try both and share. The bang bang shrimp taco is the best of having bang bang shrimp and a taco at the same time. It had a great light sauce topping the taco and the salad green inside was perfect. This was served with fresh uncut green beans . These are an awesome choice and lightly seasoned. Perfect combo with the bang bang shrimp. I chose the fish taco with fries. Again, these tacos have a great seasoning and sour cream topping with a delicious chutney on the fish. Bonefish has many choices and always seems like a great an mostly healthy alternative to some of the other restaurant chains out there. Large selection of menu items for any seafood lover to enjoy.

Busy Friday night!

The food was good but the salmon was out of this world. It was busy and I see why. I don't normally like seafood but I enjoyed the fish here. The issue was the wait which they can't change. The service was.... I don't want to say bad but was lacking. Our waitress was sweet and did a good job but she was always busy. It wasn't get fault, I think she had so many tables.

very nice place
