Just superb, food was incredible and hospitality on point. Also our waiter Salvador was a gem, definitely the best Mediterranean I’ve had at a fair price.

This is our favorite restaurant and we always come here for family celebrations and birthdays. I had Patte last time when I came with a friend so we requested her tonight when celebrating my uncle’s birthday. She is just so excellent at her job! Friendly, clear and direct about repeating our order, and just so warm and welcoming. She knows every detail of the menu and explains everything so well. She definitely made our family dinner so special and pleasant!

Excellent lunch. We have been here many times. Authentic Turkish cuisine. I enjoyed the Bosphorus wine flight. Excellent service from Olga.

Stopped in as a 3 for lunch. Sat at a booth with great views of the bar. Big windows to people watch or sit outside. Waitstaff was pleasant and willing to please. We started with flat bread with a few spreads, hot and delicious. Then dined on lamb, chicken saute and chicken skewer with rice. Personally I didn't want the saute meal to ever end. We had to pass on dessert since we had no room left. It was a dining pleasure. Enjoy

We came here due to its rating and were curious about Turkish food. I would rate it as one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The manager, Unal was charismatic and our waitress, Olga, extremely warm and wonderful. She made suggestions that were spot on. We shared the seven dip appetizer and 3 out of 4 of us had the Chicken Sauté with mushroom cream sauce that was to die for…so much flavor that had us making noises of pleasure bite after bite. We were filled half way through and wanted to save room for the amazing desserts. One had the pistachio baklava and 3 of us had the pistachio gelato. We had an early plane the next day or otherwise I would have had the chocolate hazelnut mouse and Turkish coffee. We’ll definitely be back the next time we come to town

What a wonderful, delicious surprise! We had the lamb shank with a glass of the Pinot noir suggested by our server Madeline. Madeline made the evening enjoyable from start to finish. She was so friendly and so lovely. We finished the evening with Turkish coffee and chocolate hazelnut baklova. We will be back again!

Food and drinks were amazing! You will not regret coming here. Olga was an amazing server, gave us a thorough explanation of the menu, allowed us to taste wine and gave us her recommendations. We had the mixed sampler cold appetizer and every single dip was outstanding. Happy hour drinks were delicious and great pricing. We will definitely be back!!

I had a wonderful experience at Bosphorous in Dr. Phillips! The lamb kebab was absolutely delicious, and the cabbage, onion, and carrot salad paired perfectly with the hummus, fresh and flavorful dishes. I usually visit the Winter Park location, but today I decided to try the Dr. Phillips location, and I’m so glad I did. Patte was amazing! She was kind, happy, friendly, and incredibly considerate, making the dining experience even better. Great food and excellent service, I’ll definitely be back!

WOW! What a great experience from start to finish. The food was amazing at this location. The service was spectacular. Very pleased never having consumed Turkish food before. The flavors were amazing and the presentation equally stellar. Cocktails were all half priced around 6pm and the appetizers and meals are reasonably priced for fine dining. Great place for a family gathering. We had a wonderful server, and wonderful food. Can't wait to go back again. We tried many menu items but the meal for two at $54 was our best option and pictured in the review. This place truly lives up to the hype and reviews. Tad bit difficult to find as it's in a strip mall near a Publix, but close to major areas such as Dr Phillips, and Turkey Lake Rd.

Magical Dining was phenomenal! Patte our server was excellent. I had the lanb shank, what a treat. First time to the restaurant, but won't be the last!

Spectacular meal…we were full on the lavash and appetizers alone! Had amazing service from Salvador and will be back, for sure. Husband had the lamb shanks and the meat fell off the bone and melted in your mouth. We were too full for dessert but ordered a chocolate mousse to share and practically licked the cup.

Fabulous dinner at Bosphorous! Deb was a great server, explained the menu and helped guide us in choosing a great combination of menu items. Food was delicious!! Chicken kebabs, salad, muhammara and eggplant spread with a beautiful lavosh. Baklava to finish—a wonderful meal in a very welcoming atmosphere.

Nice Turkish restaurant with Turkish decor and ambiance. All staff were nice and friendly. Our server Salvador provided us with excellent service and was knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered two chicken sis kebab dishes. It came with 6 big cubes of chicken breasts that were marinated for 24 hours, good portion of rice, and a good portion of pickled vegetables such as carrots, beets, and red onions. We ordered pistachio baklava for dessert but it was okay because it was very dry. The food was very tasty, the meat was very tender, and the portion was huge! We packed up the leftovers! Will go back again!

From the start we were greeted by Unal. He was so welcoming. We sat outside since it was a beautiful night and not too hot. Nice music and fans outside. Salvador was our waiter. We had a couple of appetizers and mixed grill for two. It was delicious and plenty of food to take some home. 100% recommend. Fabulous food and first rate service.

The atmosphere was great. Everything we tried was delicious. The shrimp saute in lemon sauce was spot on. My boyfriend got the lamb shank and couldn't stop raving about it. My first visit to Bosphorous was about 10 years ago and my last was around 4 years ago. It is one of my “must visit” places when I am in the Orlando area. It was good to get back and upon entering it was clear it was different in size from what I remember. Mike, our server and culinary concierge seated us and, upon inquiry, confirmed the restaurant had been expanded and renovated a couple of years prior. I tend to always pick the lamb shank, and it was excellent, but you can’t go wrong with any selection. The quality of food is always important in a dining experience but having consistency is just as important. You will certainly experience that here visit after visit. What hasn’t changed is the excellent food, service and warmth you will experience. If you aren’t familiar with Turkish cuisine, Mike and the rest of the staff will certainly help you in your selection. Oh, they added a bar since my last visit, so that is a plus too. Thanks to Mike and the team at Bosphorous for another enjoyable dining experience.

Our server Salvador was so helpful in making recommendations. We had the appetizer sampler- fabulous and Mixed Grill for 2 - beyond good! Salvador informed that the meats are marinated in Turkish spices for 24 hours and the flavor and consistency were fantastic. Take your appetite because portions are large!

I was highly recommended to this restaurant by several friends, one of which who brought me! I must say, I’m happy they did! This place is absolutely amazing, and I’m a picky eater with a lot of allergies. They seriously care about their customers and check on your table frequently. I highly recommend going here! I was treated like family and so comfortable… I will be back for happy hour! Thank you for the amazing dinner!

What a wonderful experience eating and sharing food with each other. Salvador explained all the different foods on our sampler plate. I had a wonderful experience at Bosphorous on October 19. I had heard great things about the restaurant and stopped to have dinner. What I didn’t expect was to have a memorable experience and be treated with great care by Youseph. He recommended the best dishes, which is tough to do given everything is delicious and I was ordering for one. The restaurant was busy and yet he timed everything perfectly. The owner, Bunal, is also very friendly and offered me baklava, which is the perfect amount of sweetness. I walked in thinking I was going for a solo dinner and wakes out feeling I had dinner with friends. There is no doubt this place gives you an authentic Turkish experience from the food to the hospitality! Thank you to the staff!

Our Magical Dining meal was very delicious and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Our server was Salvador and he was amazing and very kind. Smart waiter who didn’t make any mistakes and got our order exactly how we wanted it. Brought us to go boxes even before we asked for them and was smiling and supportive the whole time. The portions are HUGE! If you are not too hungry, share a meal with your partner.

We went for Magical Dining and were completely delighted! We were warmly greeted and very well taken care of by Patte. Her recommendations were spot on. The cocktails are unique twists on classics and the food was delish. The Muhammara and Lamb Shanks were particular standouts. Absolutely 5 star experience.

Followed by lamb shanks and marinated chicken breast kebabs. Desserts were decadent - pistachio sorbet and pistachio baklava. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.

We got there on a Sunday right before 6pm and the waiter, Mike W, was kind enough to tell us that happy hour was about to end at 6pm. So we were able to put in a couple of orders before the happy hour was over. We ordered Lavash with 2 appetizers. Excellent as always. The Lavash is huge and tastes great fresh from the oven with butter and sesame seeds. We ordered the lamb chops with rice. They were excellent. We've been there on numerous other occasions. I highly recommend them for Turkish/Mediterranean food. I never had anything I didn't like.

Went here because of good ratings, but greatly disappointed. Overpriced and poor quality. I ordered Moussaka, which should have layers of eggplant, potato and bechamel sauce with a light crust of toasted Parmesan. Not this one, one or two small chunks of eggplant mixed with ground beef and covered with mozzarella. Absolutely worst $25 entree I have ever had. My wife’s stuffed cabbage was not much better and on top of everything, charged extra. Do your selves a favor and travel to Kissimmee to “The Italian Joint”, which according to TripAdvisor is 21st rated Italian Restaurant in Kissimmee. Another joke rating from TripAdvisor, which I personally have lost faith in.

There were 5 of us. The combo appetizer and the bread were good. My Lamb Saute was not good at all. The sauce was very sour, and the meat pieces were tough. The rest of the group didn't say much about their food. Baklava was so so. All in all, I have eaten much better mediterranian food in other places.

Victoria is a star. Kept everything fun while getting our order right and out to us fast. Love this place, will be back next time I’m in Orlando.

She had the perfect balance of service and didn't overserve nor leave us in need of assistance. Started our meal with lavaș and apps. We ordered chicken and beef şiş for entree. Hidden in a strip mall, this is our top choice for consistently great food and value in Orlando. Two visits per trip is not unusual. Each dish a winner, among the very best we’ve had of that offering. First-timers should sample lavas puffed bread w Karisik Meze (7 dips including humus, ezme, babaganoush). Favorite mains: lamb (shank or med-rare chops), moussaka, and creamy shrimp casserole. Tell server early that you’ll finish by sharing Kunefe (“knife cheese”): a wheel of warm slightly soft cheese encased in a thin crust of shredded baklava, topped optionally w pistachio ice cream. Amazing! Servers remain informed, courteous, and helpful. William turned me on to the melt-in-your-mouth lamb chops, and timed perfectly the prep of the Kunefe.

Salvador was very nice. Explain all the different foods. The food was delicious. The service was great. We were celebrating birthdays.

We immensely enjoyed our dinner Thursday 13 March. Mike our waiter was superb and went through the entire menu providing his favorites and recommendations were spot on. Five of the six were first time visitors and everyone had a perfect time. Each flavor was spot on and outstanding. I highly recommend Bosphorous and ask for Mike and mention he was recommended.

Bosphorous is my favorite restaurant. The Turkish food, the staff, the environment is all amazing! Every time my parents visit we make it a point to have at least two meals here. And their kunefe is probably my favorite of all restaurants in Central Florida!

Olga was our server. She was very nice and attentive. It’s always a great experience eating at Bosphorous. From ambient lighting, knowledgable staff, and food that hits the spot every time - all for a reasonable price, there isn’t a reason why you shouldn’t come.

We had a great lunch here. Our waitress Madeline was SUPER welcoming and very friendly. If you are thinking of coming here, just know during lunch time is a perfect time as there was plenty of open seating. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic!! Highly recommend this one if you like lamb. The shank is always perfectly cooked, moist and flavorful. The sauce its stewed in is full of delicious goodness. Also the restaurant itself is very beautiful. We always come here whenever we are in Orlando and it never disappoints.

Had a quick bite there, the food was okay I think the meat portion of the dish could be a little more. But the service and cocktail was top notch. We did not know about their changed timing and went there right before closing but the server/ bartender Victoria was amazing. So much positive energy even for day end and gave us suggestions to order food.

Wow! All I can say is wow! From the moment we entered the restaurant we felt welcome by the host, Unal. Our server Olga was fantastic. I have never had a menu tour before and it was so nice as she told us about many of the appetizers, dishes and the wines and drink list. Olga made many recommendations. We had 7 dip appetizer with the bread, and it was all very good. I chose the chicken sauté in the cream sauce for the main course and to say delicious doesn’t do it justice. It was one of the tastiest things I have eaten in a long while. I ended the meal with the pistachio baklava and it was so good. Between the impeccable service by Olga and the incredible food I highly recommend Bosporus Turkish Cuisine!

I can’t say enough on how amazing this place is!!! From the minute we entered, greeted with super friendly girls. Our waitress Patti is super professional , very pleasant and extremely nice. I told her that the manager is lucky to have her!! The food is unbelievably delicious, very tasty and very yummy. This is my favorite restaurant in town. For starters, Salvador was such a gracious and charismatic waiter. He was incredibly attentive and made a great recommendation, introducing us to a new dish despite being a repeat customer. There is not a single item on this menu that will disappoint. Everything is delish!!

We love Turkish food, and were excited to see this restaurant right at the top (#3) amongst over 3000 restaurant options in Orlando. We were so impressed with the warm, friendly and extremely professional service. Olga was our server and she offered some EXCELLENT recommendations for both meat eaters & vegetarians alike at our table. We began with sharing the seven-dip appetizer with lavash bread. My husband and friends enjoyed chicken dishes, and I had the Turkish okra sauté, which was one of the most delicious meals I have ever had in Orlando. We finished up with desserts and all agreed that the pistachio baklava was out of this world. If we lived near here, there is no doubt we would become regulars!

Dinner with family and Olga did an amazing job helping us with dinner. It can be chaotic with kids sometimes but she was very helpful and attentive.

Zachariah was the perfect server - so friendly and efficient.! The food was incredibly delicious! Such tender lamb kebab cooked perfectly medium rare. The lavas bread was fresh, warm and absolutely scrumptious! Never disappointed in Bosphorous… Always such a fantastic dining experience. The decor is exquisite and the music was apropos to the Turkish cuisine. It made me so happy to see such detail put into a dining establishment. There is a reason Bosphorous is so successful.

Came with the family and enjoyed everything. The Lavas bread is a must! Wife had Chicken Adana Kebab and I had Shrimp Saute with cream sauce both were delicious.

This was my first time trying Turkish cuisine and it absolutely exceeded my expectations! Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and truly unforgettable. Youseph and Unal were incredible. They took the time to explain each dish and wine pairing, making the entire experience feel warm and welcoming. Their knowledge and hospitality made such a difference. If you’re curious about Turkish food or just want a meal that feels both authentic and special, I highly recommend Bosphorous. Great food and atmosphere! Wide variety of kebabs along with other options. Great lavash bread. All food was tasty, meat was very tender, lavash was warm, and drinks were good. And service was great as well - our server Olga was exceptional! Will return when have a chance.

Hoped to get this out when I saw the menu and reviews. Didn’t disappoint. We were having a late lunch so my husband had the beef kebab. I had the beef liver and french fries, hot appetizer and we had the lavah bread and a spicy cold appetizer made with green peppers and walnuts. The beef was cut into small chunks and was lightly coated in flour and then fried. Made it wonderfully crispy. The fries had a dusting of spice, but it wasn’t spicy. Just tasty. My husband said his was good too. Olga did a great job explaining the menu and letting us know about the different things they offered. They have lunch specials as well. Food is very reasonably priced and extremely good. We’ll have to remember this when we are back in Orlando.

Definitely get the mixed appetizer plate! The lamb shank and lamb cops were delicious! Patte was our server and she gave us great service and recommendations!

Our server Olga was FANTASTIC!!! Her recommendation on each dish we ordered was superb. This was our first time at this establishment as well as enjoying Turkish cuisine. The owner was also amicable. He came out to greet each customers and to ensure our experience was up to par. I highly recommend bosphorous (Orlando) to anyone.

Olga was great at recommending things on the menu. Everything was delicious and the portion sizes were great. We ordered from the magical dining menu and there were good options. We got the kebab, lap shanks for our entrees and the chocolate moose for dessert. Will come back!

The food was excellent, served quickly and nicely presented. We enjoyed the sampler of dips and the lunch portion of ground lamb patties. It was a generous portion with 3 patties with rice and veg. Our server was pleasant and helped us with explanation of the dishes.

I’ve been to this location a few times, and the food is always wonderful! All of the servers are also great, but we especially had a fantastic experience here today with our server Michael. Michael was very attentive, kind, and professional, and he really went above and beyond to make sure we had a terrific visit. Thank you Michael and the culinary team!

Server Youseph K anticipated all needs before you had to ask. Glasses never went empty. He monitored dining to time servings. He brought our extra plates before dinner arrived for those sharing entrees. Fantastic server!

We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Bosphorus Turkish Restaurant, thanks to Mike, our fantastic waiter. From the moment we walked in, Mike made us feel incredibly welcome with his warm and friendly demeanor. His hospitality was unmatched, and he went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable meal. Mike’s recommendations for food were spot on! Every dish he suggested was flavorful, authentic, and exceeded our expectations. You could tell he was genuinely passionate about the menu, and it made our experience all the more special. Thank you, Mike, for making our visit so enjoyable!

I began dining at Bosphorus-Dr.Phillips with my parents when they opened in 2012. It quickly became one of my favorite restaurants in Orlando to dine at for Birthdays, Celebrations, including everyday evenings when good Turkish food was just being craved. Funnily enough, Bosphorus actually inspired my graduation trip to Istanbul, Turkey because of how much I’d grown to love Turkish food. However, last week I experienced by far my least pleasant dining experience not only at Bosphorus but at any restaurant that I’ve dined at. My friend and I decided to dine at Bosphorus for her last meal prior to Orofacial surgery. Upon entering the restaurant alone, waiting for my friend to arrive, I was seated roughly around 8pm at the booth directly behind the hosting stand, the manager on duty waved down a waitress, whom I would later know to be named Victoria, to come serve my table. Victoria then proceeds to walk from the kitchen to the front of the restaurant shaking her head left and right as if to say she wouldn’t serve me. I don’t think that she knew I was observing her, but the manager clearly noticed that I saw this interaction and stepped behind the wall so that I may not see them talking. This disturbed me greatly and left me confused as if something I did was wrong. I was trying to process what happened and expected to get another server when Victoria came around the wall to my table, overly cheery. Almost as if she was trying to over-compensate for me noticing her behavior just moments before. At this point, it would have not only been appropriate but also professional to address what I saw so that the dining experience could move forward with the air cleared. However this did not happen. My friend arrived and saw that I was unhappy, and I went on to explain to her the interaction that just took place. This upset her and she asked me if I wanted to leave but I declined, saying that this was her pre-surgical meal choice and that we should atleast enjoy the meal while we have the chance to. When Victoria came back to the table she referenced us as her “friends”, continuing to be overly amiable in hopes to smooth things over. I was polite, yet direct when speaking with her while ordering. That is when she told me that they were out of the Donor Kebap for the night and she suggested other Lamb options. Despite of only ever ordered that one dish for over a decade, I went along with her suggestion, and ordered the Lamb patties. I was told that they tasted similarly to the Doner and were a great substitution. Upon receiving the food, the patties were burnt and hard. I brought this to our servers attention when she then apologized for the quality of the meal and stated that she “actually noticed that it was burnt coming out of the kitchen and would tell the chefs.”. If burnt food was noticed coming out then why was it still served? The manager came by and apologized for the state of the food and offered my friend and I gelato for the inconvenience….. At this point, I declined to ordering anything else. I didn’t want my food to be remade, I didn’t want to order a different meal and I certainly did not want an “On The House Gelato”. My friend then opted to have her food taken to-go stating that she didn’t feel right eating there anymore. From the initial head-shaking interaction, the turning a blind eye to the situation, and the quality of the meal, my dining experience had been ruined. And from my favorite restaurant at my favorite location at that. Despite my interaction with Victoria, I feel as if the Manager missed out on an opportunity to execute leadership from initially not clearing the interaction up that she was aware that I witnessed, but by then only offering a gelato to make amends for the dining experience as a whole. Before leaving, we asked a waiter what our waitresses name was where he then told us. He asked if everything was okay and when we said “fine.” He proceeded to find his manager who was alone outside and most likely talk to her about us being visibly unhappy. Which would have been another opportunity for her to address us and the situation. At first I wanted to speak to the manager privately about everything that had happened, but as the night went on I believed that she would have either been dismissive of my experience or not held neither herself or the waitress accountable. All of their exchanges for the remainder of the night seemed very friendly and giggly after the waitresses public display of disapproval of wanting to serve me within my first 2 minutes of being seated. I’m following up on my experience to communicate how deeply bothered and disappointed I am in Bosphorus and the staff that I came in contact with. I hope that this experience isn’t the new norm for future patrons that choose to dine here. As of now, I do not see myself returning.

We ordered the chicken sis kebab with rice. We substituted the red cabbage, pickled beets and carrots for a garden salad with carrots. However, most of it came with a lot of onions. Regardless, the dinner portion was very good with rice and 6 pieces of cubed boneless chicken breast. We also ordered 2 dips, the cucumber yogurt and humus in order to dip our chicken. It does not come with any pita or bread. We found that the dips are little overpriced. Food was delicious! The atmosphere is very nice and of Turkish/Mediterranean design. Service was good.

We stopped by Bosphorous while running errands in the area. It was such a great surprise! The ambiance, attention and the food to die for. Olga was awesome and we can not wait to go back.

Not sure what to do for lunch while driving around on Mother’s Day, we ended up here and had a great experience. Olga, our server, was very knowledgeable of the menu and friendly, and helped us with our order. The food was delicious and Olga’s service was on point. We just left but we already can’t wait for the next time!

After the wonderful appetizer, we could have shared the entree with the four of us. It was my first time in a Turkish restaurant. Salvador kindly told us about each item. The flavors were divine!

We eat here whenever we visit Orlando. Food is delicious, prices are reasonable, and the service is always great! It is obvious the manager loves what he does, cares about the patrons and keeps things running smoothly! On this visit, our server Michael did an exceptional job taking care of us even with a sudden late dinner rush. We look forward to coming back on our next trip!

What a treat! Everything was fresh, delicious beyond all expectations, attractively presented, professionally and pleasantly served (by outstanding server Mike...I'll ask for him again). We tried many things, and there was not one item that we would not order again. The sauteed eggplant appetizer and the bread service were especially memorable. The kebabs were fresh and wonderful...and the portions were generous. The flavors were outstanding, without being overly spiced or "herbed up" which is sometimes done in lower quality Mediterranean places to disguise the poor quality of the base products. Not here...everything was top quality. Even the beautiful decor and the lovely music added to the experience without overdoing it. I could go on and on, but why? Just go, say hi to Mike, and have a wonderful meal.

We live in Orlando and went here for a birthday dinner. Sharing a hummus appetizer with lavash bread, a lamb kebab entree, and two happy hour drinks made this a reasonable special occasion meal—and we had enough for leftovers! Michael was an excellent server. We can’t wait to come back.

Absolutely delicious! The food was phenomenal and huge portion sizes. Difficult to pin what was our favorite but if you visit definitely try the cold appetizer platter!
