Stylish Italian Spot with Mixed Experience

By Jay F |

Had a pleasant experience at Bottega with the kids. It has a modern Italian vibe with social media post-worthy decor. Parking was a bit of a challenge given its location but you can bravely take BART. We were seated promptly indoors but they also have the outdoor dining option. The staff was welcoming and attentive. Pasta was tasty, but not mind-blowing. Cocktails were well-balanced. Overall, a nice spot for a meal, but didn't leave a lasting impression.

Some of the best Italian food we’ve had, just be prepared to not be able to carry on a conversation without talking loud

The mushroom ravioli was amazing and the sausage pasta dish was incredible that I chose with a pink sauce. We felt a little rushed almost as if they want people on and out quickly. It is loud inside and therefore you have to almost yell to have a conversation with each other to visit. The noise level makes it hard to understand the staff when you have a question.

Super cute and delicious neighborhoods Italian restaurant

This Italian restaurant is a true gem. Everything is delicious and tasty. The mezzamaniche was outstanding, lots of sausage and mushrooms, and a sauce that was just right. The prosciutto and Burrata pizza was also awesome awesome. Portions were plentiful. The service is also superb. And the prices were very reasonable; two entrees and a glass of wine was $60, and were enough food for two people that we brought half of the pizza home. We’ll be back!!

Restaurant Review: Bottega – San Francisco, CA Perfectly posted in the heart of San Francisco, Bottega presents a comfortable combination of a rural old world and contemporary stylishness making it an amazing place to eat out. The warm cozy atmosphere and the constant attention from the waitresses gets you ready for the trip in the culinary world which is unforgettable from the very first step. Atmosphere: ★★★★☆ As far as the decor goes, Bottega tends to showcase a friendly and stylish decor, the kind in which there are exposed bricks, soft lights and a little decoration such as the walls that feature the Italian cuisine. Whenever you are with friends or your special someone, the setting is comfortable yet classy, and no one feels self-conscious. Food: ★★★★★ What is most – enjoyed about Bottega is the fact that all its dishes according to season showcase the best in the market and make every chef’s heart go ooh La la to Italian. The appetizers are burrata and embroidered tomato salad— the burrata is soft, distinctive in the richness of its fullness thanks to the contents in it. Then, the handmade pasta is heroic in that the tagliatelle with ragu is thick and fulfilling and is a heavenly experience. And finally, do not forget about tiramisu, which is light enough but sufficiently emollient that you are left with something perfect after your fresh meal. Service: ★★★★★ The staff at Bottega is very well-educated and really cares for the food they serve. Their attention is also very professional, as they help without being annoying, such tha

Arrived at night in San Francisco hungry and tired. All closed at 9 p.m.... But San Google tells us that this place is open until 11pm, so on by taxi to reach it. Warmly welcomed, we sat down and immediately the atmosphere became home. We wanted Italy, good things and pampering and we received everything. Excellent quality products, friendliness, courtesy and professionalism. The bill was really friendly, we just couldn't ask for more. It is already our favorite restaurant in San Francisco and of course we will be back before we leave for Italy. Thank you guys, you're special! Shroud, Helen and Peter.
