Steak was rare even though medium was ordered and Crete brûlée was gritty and sugar burnt not brown.

It was busy when I went yesterday morning but I was greeted with a warm welcome by my hostess and my server. Set at a quiet corner table with a great view of the restaurant. Ordered biscuits and gravies with eggs with coffee and couldn't finish it. Breakfasts were not the cheapest but it was a very positive experience.

We ate here 4 nights as convenient and not crowded. Small selection, but all items tasted were very good (risotto particularly).

My son and I are staying at the Crowne Plaza hotel, where this restaurant is located, with my husband while he has a professional conference. We have eaten at this restaurant each morning, so three mornings so far. Each morning the baked goods and pastries on the breakfast buffet have been quite stale and hard. This morning the biscuit in my husband’s biscuits and gravy entrée was hard, too. Everything else here seems top notch, so not sure what the deal is with the baked goods! Lots of good and varied choices (other than the pastries/baked goods) on the breakfast buffet. My dinner last night was delicious. I ate at the bar and the bartender was very informative and helpful. Service is excellent!

We got the cheeseburger made our way. It was soooo juicy! The cheese was great as well, the tomato/lettuce fresh. The fries were good as well. The soup was tasty & the salad was fancy. Very good meal!

Good menu. Large meals and lite fair. Wait staff very efficient and friendly. Drinks were on the expensive side but they did not skimp on the booze

Wow first time I have had this in the new menu, it was awesome, perfect size for one person I highly recommend this place

We really enjoyed this restaurant for Breakfast. The Service was outstanding. Our Wait person , Sara, was knowledgeable and very attentive. We had a great Breakfast and were full... ready to attack the day. A Tip, ask for Sara. She is a great Wait Person.

We stayed a week at the Crowne Plaza where the Boxwood is located. We were at the convention center everyday until 5/6:00 pm. By the end of the day we did not feel like trying to find a place to eat. So we chose to eat here. We're glad we did. We had breakfasts and dinners here. For breakfast you can order from the menu or fill your plate at the breakfast buffet. The food was good and plentiful. The service was outstanding. All the servers were very attentive and quite friendly. They made you feel welcome. They have a good selection of beers and wines as well.

As far as the bar section goes, the prices were very overpriced and I wasn't impressed with the drinks. They did have top brands which saved them. The Jaeger was good. As far as breakfast the next morning, the food was good, presentation was good, however there were a few things I would change. The hot chocolate was too watery, needed more milk, the whip cream and chocolate sauce helped but still lacked cream or milk with the hot chocolate itself. It tasted good. The food I had was delicious being the biscuits and gravy, potatoes, and scrambled eggs. I would change the biscuits from cheddar biscuits to normal biscuits and the gravy was good but a little thin. It seemed like it had bacon instead of sausage in it. The potatoes however with the onions and peppers grilled were amazing. The best part of breakfast. My husband ordered the french toast which he said tasted really good.

Split charge and charge for bread which we didn't expect. Food was good and came out fast, service just ok. Very good burgers and Caesar, nice salmon, too bad prices are not 10-15 percent lower. But quality is good enough to stay busy with hotel patrons.
