My wife and I had a lovely anniversary dinner at Brassica. Lionel, our host, greeted us upon arrival by name and wished us a happy anniversary. He was fantastic before and during our arrival. Likewise, Taniecha, our server, was delightful. Not only did she provide excellent suggestions and service, she put up with me - five starts all by itself. I highly recommend the fine service and dining at Brassica!

We had lunch at Brassica after checking in, it was excellent. Yellow corn bisque and salads. We were glad of that because we were planning on having my birthday dinner there as well. We were greeted and my birthday acknowledged by the hostess. The four of us had wonderful entrees and appetizers. Red snapper, steak frites all great. Their stone ground grits were excellent. Service was friendly and welcoming. The torte they gave us with "happy birthday on it was a nice touch. We had breakfast each of the 4 mornings we were staying. Everything was delicious, pancakes, French toast, omelets, all of it we enjoyed thoroughly. Our friends left a day before we did, so we returned for dinner on our last night. Again, wonderful food and service. We were so glad the restaurant was good. The bar for drinks before and after dinner was also very nice and convenient.

Food was very disappointing. First time dining here. Lovely greeting by valet and doorman, beautiful interior, sophisticated dining design, very courteous wait staff...kind of ends here. Something is seriously wrong in the back end - the kitchen. Ordered steak frites and trout, both were overcooked but more importantly, the Steak Frites meal was cold. Who wants to eat cold Steak Frites? The "steak" was not even close to what the cut should be, and the 6 fries, well just not good either. Trout looked desiccated from being such a thin sliver of meat on skin and just dry, very dry. It was difficult to understand what the disconnect here is with what is supposed to be a classy place. Skipped having dessert. Not a place to recommend. Again, something wrong with chef and kitchen crew.

Stayed at the Waldorf and ate the food here, looks like their kitchen provides room service too. The corn bisque is a really very nice dish, has shrimp, so could double as a main course. The salads were also excellent. Pasta dish was good too. Also had breakfast which was just fine. Service was friendly. I would eat here again if staying at the Waldorf.

Superior experience from start to finish! The Little Gems salad with browned butter honey mustard was fabulous. I had the steak frittes, and it was melt in your mouth tender with a delicious Demi glaze (fries were tasty but not as crisp as I prefer). My husband had the boar shank with sausage and sauerkraut. It was fantastic! Lots of German flavors and the best sauerkraut ever. Our deserts were hummingbird cake and the caramel pot de crème. The hummingbird cake was a delicious 4.5 (we missed the pineapple from my recipe), and the pot de crème was a 10 out of 5. THE BEST DESSERT we’ve ever eaten in all of our travels (France, Italy, and Austria). The richest, creamiest, most decadent dessert ever!

Didn’t get drinks for 45 mins. Brunch took 3 hours. Server paid zero attention to us. Had to ask for water. It was horrible. Everything you don’t want at a restaurant. Do not eat here.

We had a superb breakfast on Sunday morning. Mohammed had all the details for each of our selections; pointing out all of the local purveyors that were used in each entree. I just love eating local. The chef provided an excellent omelette for my spouse and I thoroughly enjoyed the pimento cheese grits and eggs!

After a long day, we didn’t feel like walking, so we “settled” on eating within the hotel. I didn’t expect much, based upon the 3.5 rating, but after looking at the reviews more closely, I realized there weren’t really any recent reviews. I was pleasantly surprised by our evening! Pretty much everything was excellent. Some amazing fresh made butter and bread started the evening. As an appetizer, I had the duck which was nice, and my wife had the Sautéed Brussels Sprouts, which she loved. She had two sides, the Pimento Mac & cheese and the Collard Greens, which she also loved, as a main course. I had the wild boar and it was tender and tasty. I have to note, they even have the best ice I’ve had; sparkling clear and long lasting! We were too full for dessert, but our waitress (I’m sorry I don’t remember her name - she was great) offered to have them delivered to our room. The desserts, the Baba Au Rhum and the Caramel Pot De Crème, were delivered on schedule and were both amazing! Needless to say, the service matched the meal, top notch! I would definitely recommend Brassica!

Terrible service, food ok. Atmosphere very nice and convenient to shopping ares of Atlanta. Stuff not equal to quality of food which diminishes the experience.

While staying at the Waldorf we enjoyed extremely friendly, attentive servers each morning of our stay. What a wonderful way to begin the day. The menu is a large, unique offering sourcing ingredients from local farms/small businesses.
Bad experience
Would give only one star, but the staff was very nice and friendly. Out table was not ready at our reservation time. We had to wait in the hotel lobby for 20 minutes beyond our reservation time. Once we were seated and ordered we had that miserable experience where you see everyone else getting their food, even though you were there much earlier. Almost the entire placed turned over before we got our food. The quality of the food was very average. Very unlikely we will return..
