My sister & I went to the Bread Winners Location in NorthPark Center. We asked to be seated outside, which we were, but after being seated no one came to take our order for at least 10 or more minutes. (And NO they were not busy) Finally my sister got one of the staff's attention and we placed our order. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, which was delicious with a generous protion of ham. My sister ordered the vegetarian burger along with a Bellini. However, the Bellini never came BUT it was on the final check. It was pointed out that the Bellini never arrived at our table and it was promptly taken off the bill. Prices are quite reasonable. Again, the food was good but the service was sub-par.

Wonderful atmosphere, fabulous food! We where there for breakfast and it was just delicious! The Bloody Mary mix is so good. Tons of fresh fruits and veggies.

We met up with friends for brunch and happened to arrive just before the rush. It was outstanding. Everything was wonderful. The service was excellent, the service was good, and the food was inventive, fresh, and tasty. Loved it.

We met here for lunch before a movie in the same mall. We were seated outside since we said 'first available'. I don't know if they were understaffed or if it was because of where our table was but we had bad service the entire time. Although there are a lot of tables outside (most of them covered (ours was not)) it's like we kept getting forgotten. Our table not being covered was fine for most of the meal but at the very end it started raining & we couldn't find our server. We stood around the server station (out of the rain) waiting for her to run our credit cards & then all had to awkwardly sign the receipts while standing in all the servers way. The food was good but the service pretty much ruined the whole experience.

I really can't say enough about this place. When we stay overnight in Dallas, it is our go-to for breakfast. So good. Service is always great. Baked goods are tasty. Food is well prepared and fast. A real treat. At all area locations - we frequent each one!

My son and I were in town for a brief visit and searched for a good place to eat a late breakfast. Bread Winner's was the perfect place to eat. I had Banana Bread French Toast and he had Chicken Waffles. Neither one of us could finish our plates there was so much food!! Crazy delicious. We'll surely be back again when we are in Dallas next.

I had a coupon for a free entree. Six months ago, my wife and I had a "bad" dinner. The next day I called the restaurant. The manager apologized for the bad food and sent me a coupon for a free meal. I was hesitant to go back, but the weather was pleasant and we decided to try it again. We both ordered the steak with a side vegetable and it was perfect !! Not one bite was "chewy" !! And to top it off, Sunday nights are "free" dessert nights !! We'll be back !! 😎

We were looking for a place to eat before we started on a long shopping day. One of the salespeople recommended Bread Winners. It was such a nice surprise to find this at the mall! Lots of fresh baked breads and dessert, plus a full bar. We had mimosas. I had the breakfast tacos and my daughter had eggs benedict. Both were well-prepared and delicious. The server brought us a small plate of a variety of sweet breads to eat while we were waiting. Despite the fact that the restaurant was crowded, the food came quickly. This is a nice change from all of the chain restaurants. The food was really good!

We've been here at least 4 times, truthfully, I've been hoping it will be better the next time. Not so. I'm done with this one. Today I had the Queen of Hearts salad and it tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for three days. I mentioned to the waiter when he asked me how it was, and all he could say was: 'Well, they make them fresh every day'. I know it's not his fault. C'mon. We all know when something's cooked fresh.. We still left a good tip for service but we're not going back.

Only negative was the wait but WELL worth it. Absolutely fantastic--service, food, atmosphere. My first chicken and waffles,

A group of gals were looking for a special place for lunch after a meeting. We ranged in age from 19 to 72. Our only problem with the experience was choosing from the amazing menu. Narrowing down was virtually impossible. So I ordered the triple combo with 1/2 BLT (full of yummy bacon, avocado, the usual tomato and lettuce on a good sourdough toast), vegetable beef soup, and a "small" Cobb salad. I ate the sandwich and about half the soup. The rest of the soup and all the salad made dinner for my husband and me. Other outstanding dishes were the patty melt on marble rye and chicken & waffles that actually looked very tasty. Each one of us took at least half our meal home. Service was professional and friendly. The restaurant was crowded even at a latish lunch hour, but we enjoyed great service.

Very busy restaurant for a Sunday lunch. I greatly enjoyed the club sandwich I had. My server was excellent and worked hard to make it a nice experience for me.

Great happy hour spot with the family, we frequent this spot as location within Mall is great. Food is good, great flatbread and chicken and waffles.

I ordered eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was invisible and the ham was cold. The cottage fries were hot and the best part of the meal. No waitstaff ever returned to check on us. My dining companion’s Caesar salad was ample proportions and used a creamy dressing.

We stopped by for breakfast prior to seeing a movie. The eggs smelled like they had been cooked in rancid oil. When I discreetly notified the waiter, he offered to recook the eggs. The second batch was even worse than the first and I felt myself getting ill. They agreed to take $1.65 off of a $25 bill. The waiter kept saying that nobody else had complained. The croissant also had a strange flavor. Can't recommend.

We went to North Park and were ready to eat at La Duni ( highly recommended) but there was a 30 min wait and a huge group waiting so we thought we would give Bread Winners a try. Located right across the corridor, convenient but not busy - the first clue. The place was not particularly clean ( table, seat) and the lighting was not particularly good. The bread they served was actually pretty good. The greek salad with chicken was only so-so. The fish and chips were way too salty and overcooked. Didn't try the deserts.

We were in Texas for a wedding and went to Bread winners to meet some cousins we haven't seen in years. We met for breakfast. The food was excellent and the staff very accommodating.

We went here for Sunday brunch as part of a trip to take pictures of the little one at the pumpkin patch. We waited about 40 minutes. As noted by others, you need to be there because they call your name. I am giving it 4 stars because the food was good. I had the smoked salmon bagel. It was good but I would note that the salmon is the same as you buy in a package at grocery stores. And the person who assembled the bagel must be inexperienced because the cream cheese spread was on the side which meant that I had to take the salmon, tomato, onion and capers off the bagel in order to apply the cream cheese. In NYC everything comes dissembled so you can do it as you want easily. The wife's pecan waffle was very good she said. The Bloody Mary's were excellent. We got the Diablo (spicy) and asked for Absolute vodka for which they charged extra so the whole thing was $14 per drink. Overall, I thought the prices were a bit on the high side for just about everything. Our server would disappear for long periods of time so that was the worst part of the experience. Thus, it was far from a perfect meal but the food was good enough that we would return.

You must try the chicken and waffles! OMG! Best meal I had in Dallas this trip. I almost always take a dish exactly how the chef intends it to be eaten. It's an adventure. A small adventure to be sure but still an adventure. The savory waffle was excellent, the deeply dark fried chicken was perfect and not dry, and the cream gravy made me happy. There was hot sauce sprinkled on top of that. Warm syrup on the side. The coffee was strong and perfect and hot enough to burn my mouth and they served it with a couple of pieces of thick sliced banana bread.

Menu was slim so I picked the pork tenderloin. Wasn't too great. I feel like I could have made the same dish better. The atmosphere was nice. Sat outside. It won't be my choice to come back unless forced.

We went for breakfast this morning to the NorthPark location. It was a 30 min wait, no problem. Wife found seats at the bar but a young guy was saving 5 chairs at the bar for his friends. I asked two employees if seats could be saved for more than 15 min and they just shrugged their shoulders like they didn’t know, absolutely ridiculous they allow(ed) this. We left and went to LaDuni and had a great breakfast. The restaurant was 50% full because they didn’t have many employees, poor management!!

I leave so happy every time I leave Bread Winners. The food is fantastic all the time, every dish that I have tried has been amazing! Try the brunch food and you will be in heaven Check out my full review and photos on my blog below! http://wp.me/p4RyAk-20

Very busy Sunday but our wait was a short one. Waiter was attentive but not intrusive. Entrees were quite sizable....delicious but definitely leftovers.

They start you with a complimentary plate of delicious sweet breads, usually fruit or spice. There is a nice menu with daily specials but we often opt for salads. The San Francisco Cobb, the Chinese Chop, and the Southern Fried Chicken salads are all quite good. They kindly provide WiFi while you wait but we couldn’t get a connection.

Bread Winners was as good as I remembered! It was a frequent of mine ten years ago when I lived in the area, and I went this week with two of my kids while back in Dallas. We had a great experience. Highly recommend!

We visited here late on a Sunday afternoon and both chose the crab Benedict and were not disappointed. Additionally we enjoyed the fact that our coffee cup was never empty.

We enjoyed a very good breakfast of the eggs Benedict and the Avocado toast. Added a warm cinnamon roll to top it off. The eggs Benedict were very good and a huge serving, enough for 2 people. The Avocado toast was so good that I ate it all, even though I intended to only eat about half of it so I could enjoy the cinnamon roll. But the cinnamon roll was excellent as well I would highly recommend it. Best of all Courtney gave us excellent service and was so friendly. She made eating here a real treat.

Nice place for brunch and breakfast located inside the mall. The waitress was very nice and pleasant. Everything we ordered was large in servings and we couldn’t finish it . Everything tasted decent except the Kobe burger which was overcooked. Drinks are decent and small in size.

Loved sitting outside watching the kids play in the courtyard in their Easter best! Pretty spring flowers and modern art. Menu very large. Brought my mom and husband. Ample portions fair price. Great wait staff. No line at 9:30 am but really filled up at 10:30. Doesn't take reservations on Sundays. Yummy mimosa that you pour a cute bottle of champagne into your glass of OJ. Parking is outside the mall so you will have a bit of a walk.

I've heard great things and was excited to try out Bread Winners. It was delicious! We went on a Sunday morning, and it wasn't too crowded yet. Our server was very nice and brought us the sampler of their breads (so good!) My husband had the french toast which he said was awesome. I had the farmhouse breakfast tacos and they were really good too. The portions are large, neither of us could finish our meals. Our server was really nice and boxed us some pastries to go. I will definitely be back!

My friend and I went to Northpark Mall to shop and went to Bread Winner's for brunch. It was fantastic! I had jalapeno bacon (YUM) and a giant pecan waffle. Everything there is made from scratch and they have tons of decadent and beautiful pastry and bakery items. The staff were so friendly - our waitress was great as were the managers who came by and chatted with us tourists. If I am back in Dallas I will definitely go back to Bread Winner's.

Two of our kids just moved to the big D and we went to visit. They suggested Bread Winners and it was wonderful. Sit outside!! It's beautiful. Our waiter was patient and very helpful. Loved the plate of breads/muffins while we decided! We each had something different and it was all delicious!! I had the Normandy French toast! It was not overly sweet (I didn't use syrup) but perfect! The only thing to be aware of, no mimosas on Sunday before 10am. Texas law! Didn't matter. We were there past 10am. Don't miss this place!!

I was in search for Dallas’ best Cinnamon Roll and this place was recommended to me. I’m not saying it was awful but it was not the “cream of the crop”, as they say. I’m very particular when it comes to Cinnamon Rolls, don’t get me wrong if you are in the neighborhood this is a GREAT place to go to. It was very clean and had a great “Brunch” vibe to it. The seating was plenty, with great seating on the deck out front where I enjoyed my cinnamon roll. You order your bakery needs/sweets at the bakery bar and you’ll have to fight your inner sweet-tooth demons looking at all the goodies, they are all mouth watering. Especially the Caramel Pecan Cinnamon Roll, which I desired to purchase. The icing, caramel, and pecans are phenomenal. A++ on presentation and taste. The reason I docked it a star is simple because once you get past the “over-the-top” toppings..the cinnamon roll was dry and nothing kills a great roll like dryness and that’s exactly what happened to this one. Other than that it’s a great place for Brunch/Lunch and get the cinnamon roll but I’m still in search for the best Cinnamon Roll in town!

Inconsistent. That's the word that best describes our experience at Bread Winners North Park Mall. Service is inconsistent. We went early for breakfast, when the place only had about 5 tables in service. Greeted promptly by the server and a quick first round of coffee. After that, the coffee just seemed to disappear. No automatic refills and the server who took the order almost never appeared again. Breakfast orders are substantial. The food was OK but you can easily split a breakfast dish between 2 persons. Save yourself some bucks by doing so. This is especially the case since you tend to fill up anyway on the home made breakfast breads that are immediately served with your first (and virtually only) coffee. I think you can do better elsewhere for breakfast.

While visiting Dallas, I broke the screen on my cell phone and ended up at the Apple Store in Northpark Mall. As we were leaving we decided to grab some brunch and came upon Bread Winners. The food was delicious, the service was great. I had the chicken and waffles... wish I would have gotten some to go! Will return next time I'm in the area.

Bread Winners opened up a few months ago at Northpark Mall in Dallas, and the word has quickly spread. If you arrive on a Saturday or Sunday for brunch, expect long lines. Fortunately, you can give them your name and shop around for a bit. The food is good, and the sweet breads served as an appetizer are a real treat. Having said that, the portions are enormous. I feel that it is somewhat wasteful, because it is way too much food for one person. I had two eggs over easy with breakfast potatoes and bacon (see photo), while my daughter had breakfast tacos. They were both very good, although the eggs were cooked a little more than the "over-easy" that I ordered. The only thing I've had from their menu that I would avoid in the future is the eggs with brisket. The barbecue sauce slathered over the entire plate was a real turn-off. Otherwise, this place is a winner.

We split a southern eggs benedict and both had a mimosa. The southern had pulled pork, a spicy sauce, and was absolutely perfect. The bread samples they give you are awesome. You will not be disappointed with anything!

Shopping can sometimes build an appetite and a great place to quell your hunger is Bread Winners at the North Park Center. My wife and I enjoyed a leisurely lunch there recently. Plenty of selections from which to choose, good food and service. We have eaten there on several occasions and have always enjoyed our experience.

Looking for a good sit-down restaurant to eat at in NorthPark, we came upon Bread Winners. The place often comes up in Yelp searches and usually has people waiting to be seated by the host/hostess. Though I know this place is better known for its brunches, we decided to test the place out during dinner. The restaurant is deceptively larger than it looks from the entrance. The place is really wonderful when there is good weather because of the large porch area and the walls that open, allowing the breeze through the back dining area. We had a good server who was attentive and patient with us as we had never visited before. I only wish he had been a bit more present when I needed a water refill or a take-out box. We were first served the complimentary crusty sour bread that was tasty and fun to dip in the olive oil and balsamic dipping sauce. However, I would have preferred butter instead of the sour balsamic vinegar to pair with the already sour bread. I also felt bad in creating a huge mess from the crumbs due to lack of bread plates. Now onto the food: Shrimp and Homestead Gristmill Sharp Cheddar Grits: My personal dish and quite decent. The size was enough for one hungry person or two meals for a smaller appetite. The grits were noticeably cheesy and appropriately stringy from the cheese. The grits did not feel like it came out of a box. I had 6 good-sized shrimp that went well with the grits, though there was still some slight fishy flavor left behind. The peppers and salty pork belly were good to accompany the grits that could not be paired with the shrimp. The sriracha sauce was bright red and I feared it would be too spicy, but it turned out to give just the right flavoring and barely any spice. I only wish there had been more shrimp and peppers, but the meal was satisfying. Buttermilk Panfried Chicken Breast: Overall a fair dish, but poor texture-wise. One could barely taste any spice or flavor from the jalapeno applesauce and I am not sure why it was there. The chicken breast itself tasted fine, but the bottom was soggy, the breading was falling off, and some parts of the breast were extra chewy and almost dry. The mashed potatoes with a hint of rosemary flavor were otherwise average, even with the tiny lumps indicating that it was "not from a box." Though the dish appears to be a specialty, I would not recommend it. Ultimate Strawberry Cake: I believe Bread Winners is known for its desserts, but this cake did not appear to be a shining example of the bakery. It is shockingly pink and we couldn't taste any real strawberries though there appeared to be little pieces in the cake. The strawberry flavor we did taste was very artificial and reminded me of toothpaste. The icing was fair and edible, but it was more like the kind you would get from the grocery store and not what you expected to pay $6 for. The cake was also a little crumbly and dry. A disappointing end to the meal. Overall, the shrimp and grits and our waiter is what made this a fair dinner. The cake was disappointing and the meal was decent, but not good value. I would recommend this place if you want a good sit-down area to relax after a day at the mall, but do not expect too much from the meal.

Took my son & his family to Bread Winners in North Park mall. Really love this location since the tables are not as close as they are in some other Dallas locations. The server was awesome, Very attentive and friendly despite the busyness of Sunday brunch. It's a winner.

The food was good, but pricey. My main issue was - dirty tables. Even after we asked the Bread Winners staff to wash the table, they didn't do a very good job. It you find yourself here, you will enjoy the meal; but it is nothing to go out of your way to find.

Absolutely great food and we have always had such a good experience with the staff who are friendly, helpful and personable. Sometimes I think we go too often because they know our names, but, hey, when it's that GOOD, you just keep wanting to go back!!

The flat bread and spinach artichoke on the appetizer menu were delicious! Service was top notch - if you go request Eddy as your server, he is amazing!

I was in town visiting and went here for lunch while shopping. The sample breads brought immediately upon seating were a delicious surprise! I ordered the special of the day - a hot turkey sandwich with fruit. It was good and a beautiful presentation! Would have liked to try a dessert but that will have to wait until another time or maybe it would be a good to-go treat. Good, quick service as well!

I was out shopping with my best friend and it was time to eat. She had never been to a Bread Winners and so we went, based on my good experiences in the past. Not sure why these other folks weren't pleased with their meal, but we had good service and great food. We shared an appetizer and entree, then shared dessert. The smoked gouda fondue was delish as was the bread served with it. When there was still fondue left after all the bread was gone, we asked for a few more slices. You've never seen so much bread as the waitress delivered. We had plenty to take home and share. Nice evening.

This is one of my favorite breakfast/brunch places to visit while in Dallas. I always know that I’m going to get good food and quality service. Be sure to make a reservation or get there before 10 because it’s always packed. They do a good job of moving everyone along as well as they can. Luckily, since it was just two of us, we were able to find a spot at the bar and we were in and out! The cinnamon roll French toast is a must try! I like this location because you’re able to walk around the mall afterwards!

Ate here late Sunday morning for the first time, and it won't be the last. After a 30 minute wait, we sat outside in the mall courtyard. The menu variety was great making it difficult to decide what to order. Before ordering, a small plate of various delicious breads were brought out. I had the chicken and waffles, and let me just say it will be difficult to order anything different. The waffles were bacon, jalapeño with a fried chicken breast and awesome heavy on top. The syrup and hot sauce was a nice touch. My wife had the vegetable omelette which looked great, and there's a good selection on the kids menu. Plenty of brunch beverage selections. The service was average, but they were very busy.

These restaurants have been around for a long time, but I finally went to one this year. So glad I did. Amazing sandwiches, great atmosphere, reasonable prices. I've put them on my go to list for casual meals. Oh - and the bread, out of this world, but the place is great even if you're not a bread eater.

It was getting fairly late, and my wife and I made a last-ditch effort to find dinner before hunger turned me from Jekyll to Hyde. Bread Winners is one of the more recent restaurant additions to the mall, so we thought we'd give it a shot. We were both thoroughly famished, so I insisted on an appetizer of hummus and pita to start things off. The hummus was really fresh and creamy. The pita triangles were warm, fluffy, and delicious. This was a nice start to the meal. I was really excited to see ribs as part of their dinner selections. Done and done. I ordered the St. Louis Ribs, which come with green chile mac & cheese on the side. The mac and cheese was spectacular! It had a nice crust of toasted breadcrumbs, which went perfectly with the gooey, delicious cheese. The chiles added a kick to the mac that was really enjoyable. My ribs weren't quite as pleasing as the mac and cheese had been. For starters, the meat was pretty overcooked. I was able to separate meat from bone with almost no effort at all. The rib meat itself was tender, but stringy like pulled pork. I also think the cooks need to work on their butchering skills a bit, because 2 out of my 6 supposed St. Louis ribs still had part of the rib tip (knuckle) attached. The ribs were rather disappointing, but I could have eaten a whole trough of their mac and cheese. Bread Winners is definitely not a place to go for good barbecue, although my meal as a whole was pretty enjoyable and much tastier than the usual mall food court options Read my full review, complete with pictures: Search "The Barbecue Fiend"

I had researched this place before we came to Dallas and on our very last day, we stayed in Uptown and so we went here before the airport. I would have eaten here more than once if I had only known 10 days before!!!! I had to have the eggs with grits and a biscuit. I savored every bite and the bacon. We got a cinnamon roll and brought it back to California.

Very nice turkey sandwich with jalapeño gravy. Fried potatoes were somewhat bland and soggy. Overall meal was good with a nice waitress.

My wife and I had dinner at Bread Winners in North Park last night. We had previously gone to bread winners elsewhere and have always had great meals. VERY DISAPPOINTED Our table was dirty and wet when we sat down. My alcoholic drink was served without ice which was a surprise. I had to use ice from my water glass. We were near the bar and it appeared that they had run out of glasses so they were sort of cleaning old glasses. On several occasions, waiters tried to give us someone elses food. My wife had the range chicken served on rice. The rice was ice cold. It seemed that there was insufficient staff and those present where each doing two jobs. Very disappointed overall.

Went for breakfast. Ordered a cup of coffee and half a waffle (love that they have 1/2 portions!). Waited about 10 minutes to get waited on while about 10 waiters stood 5 feet from me and discussed what they did the night before. Coffee was finally poured and the waiter poured it 50% full. I asked for a full cup. Asked for a refill of coffee after no one offered and my cup had been empty for a while. Got a look by a different person as my waiter wasn't the one to bring coffee. Then it took about 5 minutes for the waiter to return with the coffee. Also poured a 1/2 cup. Had to ask for a full cup. Got the first waffle by a 3rd server. Cold. Sent it back. Got the 2nd waffle from the 4th server. Warm but no butter. I asked for butter. Was told they don't serve butter with waffles ( I am not making this up.). Asked for butter. By the time it came (in a tin that was frozen and the butter was an ice cold mass also) my waffle was also ice cold. Should I go on? Asked to speak to the manager. He came and actually just stood at the end of my table and glared at me. Did not say one word. He was not receptive to specific feedback at all. Also gave me a look. Must be part of his training program. This was a Saturday morning at 9:30 AM in January. Training, management tone, and execution are far below standard for North Park. Won't go back and have already told about 50 people about this experience.

While there was a good selection of product and the atmosphere was okay, the service was so-so, the food was so-so, all at a price that was not worth any of it.

We visited the North park location, great food and wine list. Ramon took good care of us, wish I could've eaten more items.

Good option for brunch. Recommended the scrambled vegetarian eggs and the Julio’s Huevos. Good coffee and tasty original mimosa

We chose to eat here in spite of the 30 minute wait but it was sure worth it. Sandwiches were large and tasty. They were served hot and promptly soon after we ordered. Our server made our visit even more pleasant. JoJo explained the menu and suggested several items. Her recommendations were right on target and we so much appreciated her advice. She made our meal so enjoyable. If you decide to eat here, ask for her. You will not be disappointed. We will be back as the food and service are excellent.

Had a great breakfast with my daughter and friends. They live in Dallas and are regulars. I highly recommend it and will go back. I had the breakfast tacos and they bring a nice plate of sweet breads when you sit down. We had great service even though they were slammed.

OK. It was soooo hard to choose from only a couple of dishes. And, they have the most delicious desserts imaginable. My advice --get the Mexican Chocolate dessert. Yum! And, they have a key lime pie that's to die for!

Great place to get breakfast before shopping at NorthPark. Breakfast starts with a nice selection of coffee cake and then continues with a nicely varied menu that includes some southwestern style egg dishes as well as numerous Benedict's. I also enjoyed their cheddar grits.

Food was good, but parking and walking through the mall is not for us ever again. It is inconvenient for those of us looking for a good meal and not shopping. The Lovers Lane location should never have been closed. It offered free parking in a convenient location. We won’t be back.

Enjoyed the food greatly! The atmosphere was very good. The service was fast and friendly. My wife really likes the hot chocolate.

This is not the first time we've been to a Bread Winners for breakfast but the experience was vastly different this time around as compared to our other visit. Granted it was to a different location not too far from this one. We were there a week ago and there were 6 people in our party and this was for breakfast on a Friday morning. When we got there, we were told to seat ourselves and so we did, towards the front of the restaurant. The person who took our drink order might have been the manager, I'm not sure. Within 5 minutes of him taking our drinks order, a waitress came over and wanted to take our drinks order. When we told her that it'd already been taken, she just walked off. Nice! Unfortunately, it turns out that she was going to be our server for the meal, she came back with our drinks and to take our order which was fine. However, a 40 minutes later, our food still wasn't there, I was about to say let's just go when the food appeared. They were not that busy but apparently short staffed. This 40 minute wait caused us to be late for an appointment we had later on after breakfast. The food was decent, I had the French Ham Benedict and it came with asparagus. My only complaint about the meal is that the kitchen staff really need to break off the ends of the asparagus rather than just cutting up the entire thing and cooking it. The ends of asparagus are very tough and not really edible. My husband enjoyed his breakfast, he had chicken and waffles and the kids had pancakes. Our waitress only came back once during the meal and then later on, we had to call her over to ask for our bill which took another 10 minutes. All in all, not a very pleasant dining experience. We won't be back to this particular Bread Winners after this.

Located in the upscale NorthPark Center Mall, Bread Winners Café is a good choice to visit. We went for brunch on a Thursday. As they were transitioning from breakfast to lunch, service was a bit slow. But what struck us most is how close together the tables and tall-back seats are to each other. We literally had to move the chairs from the tables next to us in order to sit down. Complimentary muffins were brought to the table - a nice touch. We ordered mimosas, the farmhouse scramble and the Southwest Migas Scramble - which was spicier than expected. Overall this was an enjoyable dining experience and Bread Winners is worth a visit if you are in the area.

I've had better service at a McDonald's. I sat at the bar since I was there on business alone and was amazed at the lack of attention. Server asked my order and never spoke until after I pulled out a credit card. There was no check back on how the food was...it would have been impeccable except the Monterrey Enchiladas with chorizo came without chorizo. *ahem* Okay, mistakes happen and you can recover, but you have to say hello. The black bean sides were undercooked, but again, mistakes can be overcome, if you stop by and say hello. It is hard for me to chase you down while you are regaling your friend with a discussion of your new boyfriend who is younger than you by a couple years, but that is okay because you're both nerds. Also, quick FYI, when I am eating out I dont want to hear about my server's face rash after a shitake mushroom ramen meal of some sort. It wasn't entirely clear despite her obvious excitement (her volume kept driving up) as she discussed him rushing to get her a Liberty burger, hot tea, and benadryl. Finally, I am glad he stayed the night and saved your life when you stopped breathing otherwise I would have never learned that he has unusual expectations of women from his addiciton to breasts in anime. If you had not all but yelled this to the other bar guest I would have never know except to guess he lives his life in mom's basement. Sorry, but your food is not good enough despite all the processed sugar to make a meal incorrectly (technique AND order) and then not interact with your guests. I get served at McDonalds. Given what you charge, I expect hospitality, i.e. a two way conversation. Don't be Maddies.

We went with our family on a Saturday morning. There was about a 10 minute wait and then we got seated outdoors - which was great! But that's when things started going down hill. It took a long time before we got our order taken. My husband and I ordered the same breakfast. When it finally came, my breakfast arrived but his didn't. When we asked the server we were told "It's on it's way". 5 minutes later we asked our server again and received the same answer. After a little while longer, I went inside and a different server asked if she could help me. I told her we would like refills on our drinks. She came out and gave us refills and coffee. My husband's breakfast still had not arrived. When it finally did, everyone was finished with their breakfasts. There was no apology from anyone about the delay. I didn't ask my husband how his breakfast was but mine was no better than average and the potatoes were barely luke warm when they arrived. I'm putting the bad breakfast down to the fact that they were very busy but I don't know that I would ever want to go back.

We loved this place so much we went two mornings in a row. The first morning I had the Nature pancakes with a side of fresh fruit and the pancakes melt in your mouth. Probably the best I've ever had. The second morning I tried the pecan pancakes and they were great as well. The Vanilla Chai Latte was also a great beverage. Will definitely go back when I'm Dallas again.

Great place for a meal at the North Park Mall Friendly staff, outdoor seating available and an extensive menu. Requests for small changes to dishes were greeted with a "no problem" attitude Good food and great service

This café has a little of everything from pastries, to eggs benedict, to sandwiches and of course, the best bacon I have ever had. Who doesn't love bacon and if you go here you must order the jalapeno smoked bacon as it is completely divine! The wait is a little long, as I heard it is always crowded, but definitely worth the wait.

We came here after shopping at the North Park Center. Nice bread. We decided to order some food for dinner. The menu is only for brunch or breakfast but we managed.
Not worth the time.
I was at NorthPark Center and decided to try the Breadwinner's Café ... This was a mistake. It started off poorly - the host had abandoned his station, and I waited over 5 minutes before finally a man at the pastry counter took charge. As he tried to get someone to seat me, the host returned, ignored me, and then finally said he didn't think there were any "wheelchair ax" tables ... the pastry counter many just shook his head, grabbed a menu, and took me to a table at the far end of the restaurant. Once seated, service was quick. I went for the indulgent "French Ham and Cheese Benedict" with coffee and cream. Definitely the wrong choice. Fresh coffee. (+1) Several opened/used creamer cups in the bowl of creamers (-1) Plate of 3 breads ... all very good (+1) The main dish was delivered very quickly ... It came with fried potatoes - which were less than warm. A chilly room temp, at best. They had not seen heat in a long time. (-1) Supposedly served with hollandaise sauce - there was none. (-1) Supposedly served with 2 sunny side eggs - both over cooked (-2) Waitress stopped by to ask how it was - I said "it's just ok, not very good" but she didn't really listen, and responded with GREAT! and moved on. (-1) Wheelchair "Ax" (Accessibility) Very poor. There are only two (maybe three) tables that can accommodate a wheelchair, all towards the back, and all require careful maneuvering around other tables and chairs in a not wide enough aisle. People had to be moved out of the way, interrupting their dinner. I MIGHT consider buying some of their breads and other pastry products from the counter - but I won't ever eat here again. I certainly cannot recommend it.
