One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! My friends and I ended up going twice during our stay in San Diego. The food is great and the portions are generous, so come hungry. There was a bit of a wait the first day we went (Monday) but it’s well worth it. There was no wait on Tuesday so I assume the wait is more likely closer to the weekend.

Called in here for brunch . Very busy but given a table fairly quickly. I had the protein scramble which was very tasty. We also had the potato omelette which shouldn’t work except it does. The waiting staff were nice but one impression I left with was reticent with the coffee yet quick with the cheque!!

Really great food. Went for breakfast with a group of five. Sat out on the patio. Service was really good, and their recommendations were good. Tostadas were great, Oreo pancakes were great, lattes were good, lemon coconut pancakes were good, everything was good. Highly recommend.

The line was out the door when we arrived, but the staff was moving to seat people quickly. Our waitress was friendly and attentive despite the rush. Breakfast food was delicious, as was the cafe de olla. They had run out of their (apparently signature) coffee cake, but we had plenty of other options. We left full and happy.

We stayed in the Gaslamp district for our San Diego visit. This restaurant was a few blocks away and was one of the few open early. We liked the food so much we ate here twice. The decor is nice, as is the ambience, and while the prices were higher than we normally spend on breakfast, they seemed average for the area. Tip: Getting there early meant no waits. Both times there were waits when we left though.

Been wanting to try this chains in a while since I got to SD, I would say the food is good just the potatoes is so dry, I know that we dined at 2PM and probably they don't make a fresh batch again but regardless you guys open until 3PM we should get the same fresh potatoes like in the morning! The service is good, our server is very attentive! The drinks is good as well! One thing to add, I don't know if the musics are universal within the chains, but brunch place should have up beat music so the customers kind of excited to dine and drinks! VERDICT: Maybe I will comeback :)

This place... I was so excited. We went on a Monday morning around 9am. They had 2 hostesses. We were seated a table away from them outside on the sidewalk. The single woman at the table inbetween us and the hostess station left within 10 minutes. The table behind us was dirty and empty upon seating. As we sat, more people came up and there was a sizable wait. All the while, neither of the tables I mentioned were cleaned or filled. It took more than 40 minutes for someone to come clear the small one in front of us. The one that would have accommodated any of the waiting parties behind us was never cleaned nor seated during our entire meal. We waited over 25 minutes to get our food and it was cold by the time it arrived. And it was just ok as far as taste and quality. We spent well over an hour there total, got cold food after a long wait, and it was expensive at that. Not pleased and wouldn't go back.

We happened to be staying around the corner from this place at a property not offering breakfast. So two jet lagged hungry travellers found themselves touring the nearby streets looking for a vegan friendly breakfast and then we chanced upon Breakfast republic a place that seemed to answer the call with a whole vegan section on their menu. We ended up spending the whole visit thanking our lucky stars. The vegan section of the menu spoilt us for choice offering us a whole array of amazing sounding options from pancakes to burritos to even plant based omelettes. Finally we opted for the vegan ‘egg’ omelette and a vegan breakfast burrito. When these arrived they were better than we could have hoped for. My omelette was filled to the brim with wonderful seasonal fillings including asparagus and peppers. Alongside this I had wonderful sourdough toast and breakfast potatoes and a lovely fruit based sauce. The coffee was also fantastically strong and delicious. Service was also impeccable. Wish I was a local as we would be here all the time

Gustavo works weekdays in the mornings and is outstanding. He does an excellent job managing the entire restaurant. The food and coffee are outstanding! The orange juice tastes pretty fresh, almost like it was hand squeezed I would highly recommend it!!

This place is always popular, so you might have to wait a short while for a table at busier times. However, it is definitely worth the wait. The breakfast choices are ample so everyone should find something they like. Coffee is excellent too. Staff are friendly and welcoming, and it is good value. The yoghurt bowl is lovely. My only suggestion would be a few more healthier options like that on the menu. Otherwise, perfect for breakfast.

We arrived in San Diego early morning to start our vacation and needed to grab some breakfast. Looked on TripAdvisor and decided to try Breakfast Republic. Very happy that we did. This place is amazing! You can absolutely share a dish here. The food is excellent! Everything is fresh. Can't beat that. We enjoyed the French toast sampler. You pick 3 from the list of choices. Trust me, we went back and forth on what to try. Everything on the menu sounds delicious. We also went with a bottle of bubbles and a carafe of oj. After all, we were on vacation. We definitely recommend trying breakfast Republic. You will not be disappointed. Our server was Pablo. He was excellent and very patient.

Brendan is one of the best waiters I’ve ever encountered while eating out. The food was great and the whole atmosphere, awesome! We’ll come back to Breakfast Republic in San Diego.

We ate here while in Carlsbad on Thanksgiving morning. Even though they were busy, the wait time was surprisingly good. The food didn’t disappoint either. We ordered the Oreo pancakes and the tostadas with a side of potatoes — all three were flavorful and delicious! My hubby had pancakes and eggs, and he devoured his plate. I’d definitely return. Overall, a pretty solid breakfast spot, and we really appreciated them being open on Thanksgiving Day. Traveling to see my son, this made our morning so much easier.

You want to arrive early to avoid the line. They don’t take reservations and they offer indoor or outdoor seating. We had a party of 4 and we all loved what we ordered. Beware, the coffee and tea has a heavy dose of caffeine. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I thought the music was a little loud. Be prepared for a high homeless population in this area. A trip to their bathroom has some creative surprises 🤪 and don’t miss the egg beater light fixtures😊

Found this on Google and was not disappointed. Very good breakfasts and good portion size. Servers were friendly and attentive even being very busy. Definitely will return

Busy line in front which is always a good sign. I was alone so I could skip the line and sit at the bar. Good cappuccino (especially for US). Friendly staff to. I picked the yoghurt and it was really. Only the portion could have been bigger.

So when I went to breakfast republic, I enjoyed it. The food was really good and the place was very comfortable. The only thing that bothered me was the long line and I get that you have to wait most of the time at restaurants but this is a very long wait. Unless you call early, it takes about an hour or more wait. Though the service was nice. And I get that the long wait isn't their fault but it is a factor when considering where you may want to eat breakfast/brunch.

Came here for breakfast, food and service was great. The size of the pancakes were massive and very tasty. Very busy place but service and food was on point.

We were on a four week roadtrip and have been to a lot of breakfast places. Breakfast Republic in San Diego might have been the best! Our waitress was very friendly and pretty quick. The drinks (several coffee drinks as well as fresh oj) were close to perfect, as was the breakfast. We had two different benedicts and not only were the ingredients of very good quality, the composition was also great. A truly great breakfast. Considering the value, the pricing is more than okay! Thoroughly recommendable. We'll be back when we're in SD the next time!

Why is this Breakfast Republic rated so high? Why are people settling for such mediocre food and service? I ordered one of the Egg Benedicts and the first one I was served was cold. Our unapologetic waiter did replace it 2 minutes later with one that was luke warm. How is this physically possible? The butter on the pancakes at the next table never melted. When is this food prepared / cooked? Cuz it certainly isn’t fresh!

I liked breakfast at republic. It has many options and good food. The only thing, I think I should mention is that,it takes a long time to order breakfasts so if your looking for a quick breakfast, this wouldn't be the place to go. Otherwise it is a good restaurant.

Amazing breakfast. The hollandaise sauce was amazing. Good sized portions and quality food. A little pricey but worth it!

Great breakfast!!!!! Super good service and really good prices. Food was so flavorful and good portions . I would highly recommend it.

The food was honestly pretty good. The parking unfortunately isnt the best, you will probably have to park down the street a bit and walk up. This place seems to be a very popular place though so me and my girl had to wait 30 minutes before being seated(not a problem just a heads up it gets busy and you will wait). We waited a bit for our server to come back to give us our check so if you are not a patient person then this place ain’t for you. Again they seem to be popular especially on weekends. The drink selection for coffee was intriguing and different. I like that. I had their iced ube latte and i forgot the name of my girls drink but she got a coffee that was made up of vanilla, cream, and coffee icecubes. I had their upside down pineapple pancakes, when i got them they were bigger than i thought they were going to be. So be prepared for bigger portion sizes. They were very fluffy and slightly sweet without much syrup which is good. My only problem was i love syrup and sauces so when they only gave me a tiny plastic cup of syrup for 3 giant pancakes i was a bit disappointed. Overall we will be going back at some point because the food is good and its a cute little place and i like it ☺️

So good! We had an early flight and this was so close to the airport. The food was delicious. They have several vegan options. The mixed berry jam was so good I bought a jar so I could have it at home! My daughter went back a second day it was so good jealous because I was in a work conference). We visited on a Sunday and street parking was free. I think it’s free until 10 am too.

A great place to start your day in San Diego. The staff were nice and the food was good. The menu has a lot if options. I had an omelet with house potato and fruits.

It was so delicious that we went two day in a row to try different dishes. I love the Ricotta Frittata and Cinnamon Pancake.

Too wet obviously to be seated on their patio. It’s early and not to busy, first come, first served. It’s filled up since we arrived and it’s just barely after 8:30am. Gustavo is taking care of us today. You will be in good hands with him for your breakfast and brunch experience. He’s the best part of todays experience. The staff here are so fast about turning over tables, the clear off and the quick rag wipe and then they are ready for the next guest. We ordered the Mexican mocha latte with oat milk, comes with two shots of espresso, two immune boosts, green tea, gains bowl, chicken fennel sausage omelet with sourdough English muffin and a side of Turkey bacon and a side of the fennel chicken sausage too. $68.07 Not super flavorful or a strong spice to the Mexican mocha latte. It’s so-so. The immune shot is different with the pomegranate base juice for it, prefer the immune shots with the lemon juice base for me. Their house ketchup and hot sauce are both good on everything. Their house ketchup has a nice kick to it. The gains bowl is too bad, lots of different textures and flavors. The hot sauce makes it even better. The chicken fennel omelet is tasty, so good that we ended up ordering a side of the sausage again. The sausage is quite good on it’s own. The English muffin and potatoes were rather blah. The Turkey bacon looks quite pink and oddly colored, tasted fine, but was also super thin and not better substantial, not a lot to it. That dreaded 4% surcharge that’s separate from the gratuity. You do get to pay at the table, as they bring the machine, keeping it honest.

We were honestly attracted by the name, but we were not disappointed. Menu selections were wide in variety and there was something to please e very member of our group. Our server was excellent and helpful. Fast preparation and service.

stopped by for breakfast for the first time recently. what a find! great food. I had the shrimp and grits with eggs. absolutely fantastic! To wash it down they make a great bloody mary. Fresh mix and just the right kick. Bartenders were great. Obvious why there was a line out the door.

Waited in line for close to an hour but it was worth it. The food was extremely yummy. The chilaquiles were just as good as the ones I get in Mexico, the mashed potato omlete was great and the Jurassic pork (thick cut bacon marinated in paprika and brown sugar before cooked). Highly recommend stopping here for breakfast at least once.

Always on the lookout for a great start to the day. The breakfast is a great start, french toast, pancakes and the portions are spot on.

Seriously great breakfast and coffee. Another venue that came recommended by a San Diego resident, can't thank them enough. I had the breakfast mac and cheese and my girlfriend had the pesto and mushroom eggs Benedict, both were delicious. Go to this place hungry or prepared for a doggy bag take home.

Very tasty. We had the mac&cheese with eggs and the eggs benedictinos with crab meet. Size portions were good. The eggs benedictinos came with too much potatoes (maby some greens will be good) and the service was very slow so we wait a bit more than average.

This was one of the best breakfast ever!!! I had the breakfast burrito and half of it filled me up...their mimosas are also yummy!! If you have time, make sure to stop for breakfast here!!

I loved the variety of the menu, had a hard time making my choice. Settled on a veggie scrabble with the “upgraded” potatoes that included Brussels sprouts. Loved that they had a gluten free bread as an option at no extra charges and avocado was on my plate a no extra charge. Thank goodness they don’t have one of these restaurants in my town or I’d be there every weekend! Also really liked that with the bread they served a little dish with some jam on one side and butter on the other, very environmentally friendly instead of disposable little packets of each. Only caveat, I’d make sure to arrive before 9 as there looked to be quite wait when left.

Best food I have had in a very long time. Very nice portions, the food was fresh and delicious. The restaurant was clean and the waitstaff were very friendly.

Visited this breakfast spot based on distance from our hotel and glad we did. Churro French toast and breakfast burrito were fantastic!

The wait to get into this place, even on a weekday was ridiculously long. The food was good and waitstaff were efficient, but I don't know that the food was good enough to justify the long wait to be seated.

This popular eatery was full when we got there and full when we left! It was buzzing with a Saturday crowd and a few dogs as it is a dog friendly cafe cum restaurant cum bar. The food was described as "edgy" and lived up to its billing. The Chilaquiles I ate were on spot with a sauce that blended well with the tortillas and the black beans were some if the best I had. My wife had a superb shrimp & crab cake and crayfish eggs benedict which obviously was edgy but delish! All in all good food, keep in mind dishes are large and the wait (first come first served can be lengthy. So plan ahead and if with dog better to sit outside.

Fun and lively breakfast spot with great food and drinks! Tons of vegan and gluten free options. Coffee Olla was so delicious as was the mimosa. Fun and very attentive staff. Shirts are super fun!

Insanely good breakfast. Our service was phenomenal and the food was equally as good. I can't remember our server's name. He had a short Mohawk. He was so nice and so efficient. He had great recommendations for what to get for our breakfast. My son had the bacon mac and cheese with an over easy egg and he devoured it. My daughter had the breakfast tostadas and she loved it despite being someone that doesn't typically eat breakfast. My husband loved the breakfast burrito and I had a pancake flight. We got a side of the Jurassic pork bacon and everyone loved it. So glad we stopped here!

We enjoyed custom omelettes here and thought the food was tasty and the portions adequate. The jam was excellent and the decor is clever. There was a line outside when we arrived, so expect a wait. Wish they had one of these in the Bay Area!

Wow! What a treat for breakfast or brunch! I will be going back all week of my San Diego visit. My wife and I dodged the 20 minute wait and ate at the bar around 09.30 on a Thursday morning. The bottomless coffee mug of drip coffee was excellent and I am 30+ year old Peetnik! My wife had their Mimosa, which put a smile on her face before the Maple Coffee Cake and Apple Smoked Bacon. I had a slice of toasted special rye bread and also levain bread (also served with avocado toast menu item), an order of Portuguese Linguica sausage and an order of grilled Brussel Sprouts with potatoes, bacon. The menu is very broad with Breakfast Republic rendition of many American breakfast favorites. We are coming back tomorrow to try some other of these and I expect my wife will have a smile on her face after that Mimosa arrives.

Great location in gaslamp. Food was really tasty. Highly recommend the Oreo pancakes. Very inefficient place. Quite a few tables sat empty for 10 -15 minutes because the host looked lost. Several people who came after us got seated first. People waiting completely blocked the sidewalk. Once seated, took a while for waiter to come and take order. My coffee came early, wife’s coffee didn’t come for 20 minutes. Asked twice. Once the food arrived, it was very good. Just the overall experience severely detracted.

I sat at the bar in a restaurant that wasn’t busy, yet the staff seemed indifferent to my presence. They glanced my way several times but didn’t acknowledge me. After a while, I had to ask if the bar area was closed. A young man eventually took my order, and while the food was acceptable, it didn’t impress. They never checked back on me, so I had to track someone down for a to-go box and the check. Overall, the staff’s demeanor was rude and dismissive.

Good food, terribly slow service. Go get the food just make sure you have enough time! Cool vibe, good size portions.

I accompanied my husband on his business conference to San Diego, and found this gem of a brunch restaurant in the Gaslamp district. In looking for restaurants, I do really consider reviews left on TripAdvisor, and I am surprised this does not have a higher ranking. The food at Breakfast Republic was amazing, and the service friendly. I highly recommend the pineapple upside down pancakes and lemon coconut pancakes, as well as the Portuguese linguisa. The tables are cleaned thoroughly between each sitting, and there is plenty of seating outside. If you are in SD, make time to stop at Breakfast Republic - it is well worth it.

Very nice ambience. Menu was extensive and the food was flavorful. Lattes and fresh orange juice available. Large selection of classic American food as well as Mexican and local influence.

Very generous plates with lots of options! vegetarian & vegan friendly. Staff were very friendly. Definitely recommend

This eatery offers large and tasty breakfast for a reasonable price. The coffee, both the latte and house blend, is delicious and hot as it should be. The food is savory and plentiful. The orange juice was delicious but in the small side. Service was good as well. I will come back here when I return to SD.

My food was great: veggie scramble with spinach, broccoli, tomatoes and mozzarella cheese and lemon coconut pancakes. My husband got the American breakfast which he said was ok, nothing special. It was a long wait to get in and then we waited a long time for our food. Mine was lukewarm but so tasty I didn’t mind. The staff were very nice but we got the impression that they were overworked. Probably could have used at least 3 more workers. I would still go back anyway because I want to eat this meal again!

This place had a lot of good reviews, so we decided to try it. I had the trio sample pancakes and my husband had one of the protein plates. It was very good. Would like to try other dishes next time. One thing I like was their ketchup had a little bite to it if you like spicy stuff.

Incredible menu, atmosphere and service. I had the pineapple pancakes and side of bacon, 14-year-old the Oreo pancakes, and hubbie the jambalaya. All exceeded expectations. A must for breakfast.

I wanted to try so many options. I did not care for the avocado toast however I did like the yogurt bowl. The kombucha was a bit watered down. I would definitely try a Benedict the next time.

After a 20 min queue, the service was slow. Then the food was over 30mins arriving and was very average. Overall disappointing.

This place had a fairly nice staff but if the place isn't clean the customers begin to second guess why they came here. No propane for the gas heaters so it was cold in the morning and the homeless guy asking for money while you wait was added bonus. Really, nothing worth bragging about nor would make me tell others to go here.

We ordered thru Door Das to be delivered to our hotel and this was a great choice. We had the veggie scramble with Rosemary breakfast potatoes and gluten free toast and gluten free raisin French toast with Bananas foster topping. It was so delicious we had the same breakfast the next day. The next time I am in Sa Diego I want to go into the restaurant and enjoy the food in person.

Truly worth getting out of bed for and well worth the walk to get there. This contemporary breakfast restaurant really hits the spot with an excellent choice of breakfast options and even a range of detox shots to start your day. Service is prompt and friendly would recommend to anyone who feels the need for a hearty breakfast.

We love small out of the way places with great food!! This was a great breakfast, great coffee and great service (Leah)!!

The food was great. Had the San Diego Benedict and it was delicious. Reason for the lower review is our table was sticky and wasn’t cleaned well. I realize they’re swamped and COVID is making it hard to maneuver (our table was literally in the street - but they’re adapting as we all are), however, cleanliness is a HUGE priority... especially right now.

The best brekkie place we’ve been to in San Diego! The variety of foods on offer was amazing, our server Kyle was amazing and our food tasted amazing. So - I’d say this place is amazing! Super clean, vibey, fun. Loved it. We had the 3 French toast sampler. The Banana Split, Elvis Presley (stuffed with peanut butter) and the strawberry (which was our fav!) We shared this and it was plenty.

Breakfast Republic has some unique breakfast dishes. The farm house decor is nice and the service is good. The eggs, potatoes, and toast are good; however, the brioche French toast is delicious!

My daughter had looked at reviews for breakfast near our hotel and had suggested trying here , it did not disappoint. We had a short wait and then were seated inside, coffee was quickly served, the server took note of the allergy in the group and confirmed that she would let the chef know when preparing the food. Each of the 3 of us loved the food served we ordered pancakes, eggs benedict and a breakfast tostada, this breakfast was one of our favourites of our holiday would recommend.

When I know I'm not having lunch, I like to find the best bfast joint in a city. This is it. Creative menu, but lots of traditional options. Full bar. Craft Bloody Mary's and GREAT STAFF.

As we were entering the restaurant an older couple whispered to us, good food! The food was beyond good, it was phenomenal and the staff was amazing as well. My friend wanted a coffee mug that they were sold out of and I asked one of the owners could we purchase the display and he said, yes because we were not locals.

So.. I wanted to try something new for breakfast. A friend had suggested Breakfast Republic. So, I took my son there for breakfast. Too many options from which to choose! He had a Frittata and I had a Scramble! Food was hot and good!. Only down side of our visit was that the service was very, very slow. However, I will take slow service and good food over fast service and marginal food any day!

I found this place by accident but what a find. The team was so friendly and attentive. I tried the breakfast mac and cheese based on the review from a woman sitting next to me. She said it was amazing so I couldn’t pass it up. It arrived cheesy, and perfect with 3 eggs on top. Looking forward to another visit to San Diego so I can bring my husband here. It is our kind of place.

Good choice of menu. Breakfast/brunch menu good. Plenty of staff. Do not over-order as portions are generous ! Worth a visit if you are this end of the city

Waited 30min 11am on saturday, place its too noisy for me for breakfast, the music volume and tempo is high so i felt rushed to eat and get out. Food is serve in about 10min but it arrived warm. Food is averge & nothing special. Had a breakfast mac & chees, house coffee its just ok. Food portion 8/10 Food temperature 5/10 Food taste 7/10 Service speed 9/10 Restaurant Cleaniness 7/10 Waiter attentiveness 9/10 Maybe will try other BR location.

Shrimp and grits with poached eggs DELISH! Great flavor in the grits perfect texture. Server very nice, quick and efficient. Wish there was one in Oregon

We arrive just before 9 am on a Sunday and did not have to wait. My omelette was full of sausage and had the right balance of spices and flavors. The hash browns are homemade and I enjoyed the real potato taste. My wife's churro pancakes were full of cinnamon and yet not too sweet - - a perfect balance. It was one of the better breakfasts we have had in a while. Well done and highly recommend !!

We live in downtown San Diego. Always wanting to try new places. Stopped into The Breakfast Company today . It was fantastic. Get out of your comfort zone. I had the chicken confit and grits. It was fabulous. The rhubarb preserves was a perfect touch. The wife had banana nut bread pancakes.

If you don't want to wait, you need to arrive bright and early for this place. We tried to go to the Breakfast Republic at the Liberty Market on a Saturday morning and there was almost a 2 hour wait. We came to this location on a Monday morning, and waited about 45 minutes to get seated. After finally getting to have breakfast here, I understand the wait. They have exceptional food, a menu with so much variety, and really great staff. Our table shared a sampler of pancakes: Churro, cookies and creak and coconut. It was like breakfast dessert! All of the food was outstanding, and we all left very satisfied. I highly recommend this place if you aren't in a rush and don't mind waiting.

Gorgeous food and really good service. Loads of choice on the menu. Definitely visit here if you’re in San Diego!

The only one star is we got a large table, we were 13, in a very good waiting time, but that’s all!! It took an hour to get our food and came one plate at the time, between first to last plate served took almost 30’ !!!! Spoke to the manager and she could not come up with a good acceptable excuse. Good totally average , nothing special. Terrible experience in general. Not recommend this location for this restaurant chain at all , mostly if you are a large party.

Breakfast republic is my favorite breakfast spot in SD. They have great coffee and breakfast cocktails. It’s a perfect place to go with friends and split the pancake flight and get a savory dish also.

I had breakfast here this morning, and it was less than a satisfactory experience. I ordered the traditional Eggs Benedict. I specifically asked for the English muffin to be toasted and to add tomato onto the dish. When the plate came out, it was very messy and the did not look very appetizing. The English muffin was raw and there was no tomato. I pointed this out to the waitress at the bar where I was sitting, however she seemed more concerned with playing on her phone, then getting the order correct. She did offer to have the dish remade for me, but due to time constraints I passed. the coffee was quite bitter. The lack of attention was alarming and I will not be returning to this location for breakfast. If the kitchen staff cannot get a simple order correct it terrifies me what they might do with someone who suffers food, allergies.

My wife and I ate here and we were not disappointed. The food, the service and the atmosphere was great. Busy at 8am on a Sunday but worth it. I had the steak and eggs. My wife had the corned beef hash and eggs. Spot on. Couldn’t fault it. A bit of a gem.

This became go to for breakfast during recent visit for a conference. I visited several times over the course of a week and sampled different items off the varied menu for each (Jambalaya, Breakfast Burrito and Jalpeno Cheddar Sausage Omelet). All were excellent, as was the latte I had during one of my visits. Service was fast and friendly. Quick seating at choice of table, bar or window. I also really enjoyed lack of presumption. Just great food, and friendly / competent wait staff.

we came here for brunch and had to wait 50 minutes for a table however once seated had good service we had pancakes with real maple and bacon ham and sausage omelet that were delicious. one had a burrito that was very good. one had a skillet dish that was excellent the coffee was excellent

Excellent for a late breakfast or brunch, but be ready for waiting a line. This place is full everyday. Good fast service, the food is not standard American size, a bit small more suitable for European style, but enough to feel full. Prosecco is good, I will try mimoza next time. They have vegan options also. Definitely recommended.

Starting with the warm welcome and large, bright, not overcrowded dining areas, breakfast here was a great experience. Staff were friendly, the order was taken and the food delivered swiftly. It’s a great introduction to the scale of American breakfasts.

Popular spot, often a long wait for tables and then for food, too. Menu actually not that big and perhaps unnecessarily complicated at times - sometimes a simple option is best! But the portions are large (particularly anything you get with potatoes), food is really nice and value excellent. Service can be slightly hit and miss but not a big deal.

Excellent! And the atmosphere equally as excellent. Food was superb! My wife had cilantro eggs benedict and I had Mr. Presley, stuffed French toast with peanut butter, banana cream and bacon.

We went to the one at Liberty Station and were very lucky because it’s always packed. Had a wonderful breakfast!!! They have very good coffe and their juices are fresh!!! Loved it. The service was very nice!!!

Theres a reason it's best breakfast San Diego 2017 2018. Amazing. I got the breakfast burrito, all 4 of our breakfast were superb! Great service to!

Big breakfast served on a platter, you will not leave hungry. Would have rated excellent, still very good flavors, a bit too buttery overall for my taste. Lots of choices on potato sides. Friendly efficient staff. Popular spot. Counter stools, patio plus the regular seats. Good choice for powering up to walk the Gaslight.

I liked that the restaurant catered to different dietary styles. My girlfriend and I were able to have a lovely breakfast without the fear of her having a reaction to gluten in her food. Overall the restaurant is of decent size and they also have outdoor as well as indoor dining options. They're opened earlier than most of the other breakfast places in Gas Lamp Quarter.

GAS-LAMP BREAKFAST REPUBLIC THE lemon zest pancakes were superb... light with just enough lemon and sweetness that I didn't feel like I had a lump of wood in my stomach AFTER i ate one. Also ordered the fennel chicken sausage omelet ( I don't usually like or eat sausage) but... I wondered what fennel would taste like in a sausage omelet... the answer is GREAT! Last ..... before I got my order I decided to experiment with one of the restaurants creative coffee concoctions which is a favorite ordered by patrons...YIKES I thought Jack and the beanstalk's GIANT had come down the stalk to help me polish off the frothy 3 cup CUP with Oreo sprinkles atop the whipped cream and inside the drink (somehow WITHOUT it tasting like glue!).. I gave it a five rating for quality, taste, creativity and Service..( my server was so patient so many interesting choices ( still want to try the pineapple upside down)....She was quick, personable, efficient and professional..... The atmosphere appeared to look like a young and upcoming professionas/couplel hang out (I came at 2:15 pm on Thursday) I felt fine even though I was twice most of their ages (SURPRISE...DIFFERENT BREED) they actually talked with each other rather than just glue noses to their phones with a glazed look while sharing tables. Only suggestion... get a little help to wipe the tables up a little quicker..ONE person cant do everything... Kudos to the Chef!... Portions are HUMONGOUS had enough leftover for two other meals!

Breakfast as it should be. All the old favourites, all done well. The coffee in particular was very good. Enthusiastic, friendly staff, although they did make a small mistake with my order (wrong kind of bread) - nothing so serious as to spoil my experience

This place was so cool. In an area where space is at a premium, they had room for us to sit and eat without feeling claustrophobic. Plus, what a creative and cool vibe this place has. The cold brew coffee pot that was on display was entertaining all by itself, not to mention the coffee cups, wait staff's shirts, etc. VERY clever. And did I mention the food was delicious?! Great selection. Unique menu items. Great coffee.

I arrived Saturday morning at 930 and there is a long line and 30 minute wait to be seated. I ordered the Crab and Crawfish Benedict with the Bubbly Belgian cocktail... PHENOMENAL. When visiting San Diego in the future I will definitely return. Highly recommend🍴

Apparently voted best breakfast in San Diego, we were expecting something special. After queuing up for 30mins, we were eventually sat at a very noisy table. The breakfast dishes we tried took a long time to arrive and were average at best. We also had to ask (and wait again) for coffee refills. Not really worth queueing for in our opinion...there are better places in the vicinity for a good breakfast.

The food was great. My daughters had the churro pancakes, and they devoured them. My husband had the Portuguese breakfast and I had the American. My son had the cinnamon roll pancakes. A very good breakfast. My only quibble was the crass yellow t-shirt hanging with the other store merch--not cool.

The service is fast and the portions and quality are phenomenal. It was absolutely an incredible breakfast. Dishes are very large and can be shared. Will go back to try other dishes during our visit to San Diego.

Food was very tasty and flavorful. Server was nice and attentive. Restroom could use some attention as the floor was wet for some reason. The music was a little too loud.

We stopped in on the last day of a great vacation in San Diego. My husband ordered chilaquiles and I ordered the crab cake Benedict. The only reason I gave two stars instead of one is the coffee and cocktail were decent. Absolutely no flavor at all to the chilaquiles, no salt, no spice, even the house hot sauce was bland. My Benedict was awful, just a really odd taste and wayyyyy fishy. I took one bite and it turned my stomach. I traded plates with my husband, first time I’ve ever had to do that, neither of us are picky or food snobs, so this was a crazy experience. Now, sitting at the airport we both feel nauseous. I don’t usually post bad reviews, but I don’t want anyone else to ruin their day with this place, it looks good on paper. It’s not.

This was our favorite breakfast when in San Diego. I guess the line can get really long, but we got there fairly early on a Sunday and only waited maybe 20 mins. They have a varied menu with some unique items. Good drink selection and lots of milk alternative options. Portion sizes were very appropriate too! We loved this place!

This place is amazing! We passed several breakfast places headed here. This was the only place w a wait and I now understand why! Must go! Breakfast tostadas! Service was excellent too!

Before we even step foot inside the eatery, my partner and I met Megan. We were curious about a street parking space with no meter and she happened to be on her break. I hated to disturb her but she was so polite about assisting us. We noticed she had on a Breakfast Republic shirt and remarked that we were going there as well. After, getting situated with parking we walked a block to the spot and it appeared bustling with customers. The hostess informed us that there would be a 20 minute wait. We opted to sit at the bar and lo and behold Megan was there to greet us again! We quickly sat down eager to receive more of her cheerful personality and quality customer service. She was very attentive and made us feel so welcomed. We took her suggestions for a Rooster Flight and Brussels Sprouts Potatoes (so yummy), paired with our Omelettes. Everything was delicious and we were so glad we made this our last stop in Downtown San Diego. Megan deserves a little something extra this season please treasure her always! Thank You Again! P.S. Megan that parking spot was legit! 👍

Unique breakfast selections with great food. The Portugese sausage scramble was great. The lemon coconut pancakes were a little too sweet but very good. The sourdough bread was great.

Loved the menu I saw online, but when I got the breakfast tostadas, it was really just beans from a can and shredded cheddar from a bag, mixed with a few other ingredients. Not bad, just not great. Especially after having breakfast at The Mission, just up the street, the day before.

Fantastic food, fresh local ingredients, and very unique offerings. We enjoyed the food so much we went to breakfast twice here while in town for a few days.

My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time on Monday May 30th. My husband ordered an omelet and I ordered a vegetarian dish. We ordered the pineapple pancakes to share. We had an abundance of food and every dish was simply filled with flavor and delicious. There is something on the menu for everyone.

Arrived early Saturday morning and the parking gods on our side. The restaurant was starting to get busy but they were able to seat us right away. The items from the Bar were exceptional. All the food items once they arrived were outstanding. The server was a bit distracted and was dropping off the bill before everyone even had their meals. She apologized and the missing meal was found and delivered, it was worth the wait. Will be going back next time in town.

food. drinks. staff. all was awesome. best meal in SD so far. we will definitely be back. after a few disappointing places in san diego, this was an

What a breakfast served on a platter. Will satisfy everyone with so much to choose from. We had most breakfasts there while on travel. Try it you’ll like it too.

Typical American Restaurant with a wide variety of dishes and an excellent combination between them, perfect to share with friends or alone, also with good prices

Came here before heading to San Diego zoo for the day. Wait was less than 10min at 830am. Busy place. Menu definitely had my attention. We tried the pancake sampler which fell short on taste. Pancakes were not light and fluffy and the toppings were nothing to write home about. The American breakfast was a large plate of overcooked scrambled eggs, bacon that was not extra crispy as ordered and potatoes that were again nothing memorable. The smores iced mocha was a nice touch but not enough to make us return.

Eggs Benedict with avocado and hash browns were really delicious, good size coffee, OJ glass could have been a bit bigger

You may see a line of people waiting for this restaurant however it is a very bad bad restaurant. We ordered two lattes. What we got was a swirl mess of coffee and milk. When I asked the waitress about this she said that it was a brand new person who doesn't know how to make lattes. She said that the new person has to practice and that we should just accept a bad latte. Clearly there's no training at this restaurant. And the waitresses don't care that the staff don't know what they're doing. Melissa is the waitress. Clearly she doesn't like the restaurant or customers. Then I asked for the manager. The guy who came over was too afraid to say he's the manager his name is Isaac and he has one bad ass attitude. Can you imagine when they get a new person in the kitchen and so they practice without training and you're going to get a bunch of garbage at your table for food. This is the way this restaurant works. There is no training and management doesn't care.

We got a lovely warm welcome from Gustavo as we walked into this fabulous place-menus, water & coffee straight away. We then spent an age trying to choose something to eat because it all looked so so good. And when it came it was! Fresh & light & something a bit different-right down our street-& a perfect way to start the day

Convenient place to eat especially since some hotels in the area do not have a restaurant or are very expensive. This place has a good variety and the place was good. I wish they would have had more gluten free options.

Went here twice during a two week stay here and both times were perfect. Didn't have to wait for a table, though we did go on weekdays both times and there was a queue on a Saturday during Twitch Con, but it's worth it if you do have to wait. Because the menu is so good we struggled to choose what to have our server suggested having a benedict and swapping the home fries for a portion of one of the trench toast items (pictured).. They add $4 but it's totally worth it! Home fries are home fries.. It was so good we returned to try something else off the menu and loved it both times! Best breakfast joint we found in SD...

We went right after we had just landed and had a bad experience with our rental. My husband and I decided we needed a nice brunch spot with mimosas and this came highly recommended on a couple of sites. Our bad moods were lifted almost immediately. Their service was top notch and their selection of food was fantastic. We ordered a couple of mimosas which you can also order a bottle for the table. My husband got the California breakfast burrito which was massive. He said it was really good and not something he usually sees served for breakfast. My stepdaughter got the s'mores french toast. While it was definitely too sweet for my liking for breakfast (more dessert-like), she was happy. I do have to add, they do not have a kids menu, which is kind of a bummer. The French toast, plus a side of fruit was $18.50 altogether which is a steep price to pay for a kid to eat. I got the bacon, cheddar, sausage, and jalapeno omelet and it was one of the best omelets I've had. The potatoes that it was served with were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with the right amount of seasonings. In all, while it was definitely more than I've ever paid for breakfast, it was worth it for the food and service we got.

I had a very tasteful and fulfilling breakfast in this place. Even pricing is bit high (as in USA overall), value for money was good.

They were obviously the star pupil in Martha Stewart’s class on Self Promotion for success and I love it! Located in the historic Gaslight District, great service, interesting menu options & fantastic food. No detail too small for creating interest. Enjoy your surroundings!

I want to start by saying the food here is good. But I'm only giving it three stars for two reasons: we were seated outside where there was a bonanza of flies buzzing around, and our food got served to us cold. The mornings are chilly enough, so that didn't help. They dont do reservations, so you arrive and get on the waitlist. We waited 50 minutes on a Monday morning, just for reference. Once seated, I had the churro pancakes, Jurassic pork (thick-cut bacon), and a side of eggs. It was good, just barely warm at all. My wife had the antioxidant shot, followed by the Steak N Eggs. She said it was good, but just needed to come out hot. It almost seemed like our plates sat too long in the kitchen. The service was fine...actually it was great. However, just get there early & ask to sit INSIDE.

We were told by our travel agency that this is the best breakfast in town and were not disappointed. Lots of gluten free options, hipster vibe, and our food came pretty quick. I was recommended the San Diego eggs benedict and omg so good. Our server was triple sat and didn't get flustered at all; experience was excellent. My only complaint is this place is WAY too busy to have a single bathroom for women and single bathroom for men. The line was 4 to 5 people deep at one point.

Good breakfast and allot of food.. good place, to fill up the first morning coming to America. Or just when hungry..

I had the oreo chocolate pancakes and they were filling and good, with quite a large portion for the price. The bacon was the best bacon I’ve had in a breakfast joint here so far. Service with a smile. No wonder it’s so busy and people are in love with the place.

We went here based on reviews and they weren’t wrong! My husband had the shrimp and grits with a roasted flavored corn. My husband told the waiter it was as good as the grits we had in Savannah GA. I tried it and u can’t go wrong, amazing! I had the avocado toast with strawberries sprinkled with pomegranate seeds, the toast was thick and seemed to b homemade or from a great bakery. Service was top notch as well.

Here's a funky breakfast spot in the Gaslamp district in San Diego. Just a few steps from our hotel, we were happy to discover this unique breakfast in a fun dining room. The menu has so many delicious offerings from savory to sweet. I chose the Portuguese Linguisa scramble which came with potatoes and toast--delicious . The coffee is also very good and the service fast and friendly. Absolutely try this!

Big restaurant very busy, vibrant with local people. High ceilings with different types of seatings. There was outside seatings too. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Menu offered varieties. We had pan cakes and traditional breakfast. Portions were big but too much fried potatoes and a bit too greasy for us. Maybe some people like them that way. All dishes were attractively plated and tasty. Only one comment about the crab meat egg Benedict, the crab meat cake was bit too greasy and hard to distinguish the crab meat taste. Services from staff were excellent.

Went on a Sunday around 10am-11 and had about a half hour wait for two. The wait was certainly worth it and since we browsed the menu while in que we ordered right away and the food came out quick. I had the Chilaquiles which were fantastic. My wife’s breakfast burrito was monstrous. It was honestly the biggest breakfast burrito I’ve ever seen and that was even without the bacon. I got a little ambitious and figured since I wouldn’t eat until my flight later that night I would order the churro pancakes as well. They were delicious. If you are in downtown San Diego just know that this is the premiere destination for breakfast.

what a menu with terrific options. anything jurrasic was outstanding. fast friendly service with excellent coffee. Highly recommend.

Love finding restaurants that are offering Vegan options! Staff is friendly, portions are generous, service is good, and the food is delicious. Easy to find, no wait when we were there (during the week). I would recommend and would eat here again.

Breakfast Mac-n-cheese is a winner. But come hungry as all portions are huge. Fresh orange was really fresh. Mimosa was surprisingly reasonably priced. Table was sticky and not very clean or this would have been a solid 5.

Very poor quality breakfast. We ordered pancakes and omelet. Omelet was undercooked, raw egg oozing, bacon was not cooked in omelet. Pancakes were good but can’t goof those up too much. Waitress did not apologize , seemed annoyed. I then asked to replace with just scrambled eggs and bacon. She brought out eggs that looked like they were the scrapings from a pan. Cold bacon. Will not return !

Having read some reviews and spoken to hotel staff who recommended Breakfast Republic we were really looking forward to our visit. When we arrived it was really busy and you knew why. One look at the portions being served up at the table next to us suggested both quality and quantity weren't going to be an issue. We weren't;t disappointed. The omelettes were huge and pancakes just as big. Overall quality of the food was really good and very tasty. The only slight downside was that because they are so busy you did feel they were trying to turn around the tables at pace. We'd literally just finished when the bill was there and we were gone. Just a small point, but important nonetheless

Trendy breakfast location with good food and polite service. Nice open air atmosphere on corner. Party of two had a breakfast frittata and shrimp and grits. Shrimp and grits was excellent. Frittata was a bit bland, and accompanying hashbrowns were a mixture of spongy and crunchy. If you go on a weekend go EARLY or be prepared for a LONG Wait. We initially tried on Sunday and the line waiting for entry was 30-40 yards long. Went back on Tuedsay AM and then had no wait to be seated. This could easily have been a very good review with a few small improvements in operation.

Very funky venue with great menu. Relatively good quality with reasonable prices. Good service. We enjoyed our breakfast

Excellent food and service although it was very busy. I had American breakfast and my companion had chicken fennel sausage omelet.

I rarely eat breakfast; however, when in SD I plan to eat here at least once. Great food (well, I am not fond of the Jurassic Pork) and in good quantities. Eat there!!

At 8 AM on a Saturday, I thought I could pick up a breakfast sandwich and a coffee to go and be on my merry way. I was wrong. When I arrived, a line quickly formed only to put your name on the waitlist, which the hostess informed everyone 35-40 minutes. I asked to put in a to go/take away order, since I wasn't going to wait THIS long to dine by myself. She asked me to wait. "Sure!" The signs of the horror film quickly manifested in front of my eyes. The friendly hostess was obviously overwhelmed and apprehensive. She needed help. Every minute, more hungry patrons lined up to put their names in. How the hell am I going to get my order in? I studied the menu, asked another server to order a breakfast sammy and a "Cocky" (cold brew coffee - it's explicitly typed on the menu). Easy right? I paid and waited. And waited. And waited. People who I saw on the waitlist, when I ordered my order, were being seated inside... After 45 min I asked, "hey I know you guys are very busy but could someone check in on my to go order?" Within a minute a server came out with a bag. "Uh, where's my beverage?" "Oh, they are making it now..." Another 10 minutes goes by and a server notices a sad man (me) holding a food bag... the other hand grasping an imaginary drink. "Are you waiting for something sir?" "Yes, I am waiting for my Cocky." She disappears and returns with my drink, thanking me for my patience. An hour is gone, my breakfast is probably cold as the ice cubes in my drink. I walked back to my hotel (Westin Gaslamp) and inspected the breakfast sammy. It looked sexy: the sunny side eggs, tomatoes, bacon on toasted sourdough seemed appetizing. As suspected they were cold and the potatoes were inedible. Even the homeless in San Diego deserve warm food. The only two good things happened today: my patience was tested (and I remained calm) and the Cocky was a delicious cold brew coffee. That is it. Gordon Ramsay would berate the manager with reckless abandon and a lot of name calling e.g. "You Donkey!" Someone needs to be accountable: run point, expedite, turn over tables and provide a positive dining experience for all Breakfast Republic customers. I bet if I dined inside, I would have experienced slow service due to a full restaurant and backed up kitchen. The waitstaff seemed very warm and polite! The food that I saw pass me to diners looked beautiful with generous portions. But I will never know. I am not coming back to lose another hour of my life for this nonsense.

A lot of great breakfast options in a fun ambiance. We went for egg dishes but the table next to us had pancakes which looked delicious so we will be back to try them.

creative menu, awesome staff, amazing food. just go. best breakfast ever... the coconut pancakes and the shrimp frittata were perfect.

I stopped here on my first morning in San Diego, and I kept going back. I know there were other options, but it was really that good. Of course, there was a wait for a table for some people, but I expect that at a good restaurant. Some people may think they don't have enough employees, but several restaurants we visited are having trouble finding employees. The staff that served us were very friendly. Throughout our week, we enjoyed the avocado toast, shrimp & grits, linguisa sausage scramble, mixed veggies, upgraded potatoes, GF toast, linguisa sausage side, and bottomless coffee. Coffee (regular and decaf) was very good. (I like to have a strong coffee flavor instead of the weak watery coffee that a lot of restaurants serve.) We love the atmosphere too. The only menu item that I felt needed improvement was that the brussels sprouts in the upgraded potatoes were too tough. That might just be my preference. I was glad to be able to get some vegetables, so it was worth it to me. Also, I ordered the Cocky 12 cold brew coffee. It was very good, but the coffee ice cubes were too much. It looked like they took up over half the glass, and they weren't melting very quickly. I feel like I missed out on a full glass of cold brew. I really wanted to try the Red Booch Kombucha, but they did not have any on any of my visits throughout the week.

The food and coffee is delicious. Even though it was very busy, the service was still good. I will definitely eat here again.

A true retro experience, delicious in all respects. Great service, not very crowded at 8 am on a weekday. Bottomless coffee. Ordered the American breakfast, 3 eggs perfectly prepared over easy with crispy potatoes and super juicy, delightful sausage links and a slice of whole wheat toast. Great berry jelly. Super high value. Can’t wait to come back on my next San Diego visit to the Gaslamp District.

We had lovely breakfasts here during our trip . It’s a busy restaurant and it would appear has a lot of repeat customers. Great staff and atmosphere. You’ve got to go .

50% of my order was brought out wrong. They are always out of English Breakfast Tea. The staff doesn’t know how to toast bread or muffins - ongoing problem since this location opened. Service is sub par & management is clueless! I live across the street but will not come back ever again!

Good early and expect a wait. We enjoyed walking around the near by shops so the wait was easy. Portions are huge! Order wisely and share. Staff for us was great. Out door seating. The only negative, at Liberty Station in general, are the constant flights taking off directly over head. Enjoy.

We went on a weekday at 9am and had plenty of places to sit down. However I couldn't sit down because the manager was talking to someone at the table next to the table we were directed to. I had to wait for her to acknowledge me before I could sit down. We ended up leaving after 10 minutes. No one approached us with water, asking us for our order, or to just tell us hi. Based on the reviews we'd expected much better service. We ended up walking out. There seem to be plenty of staff standing around. Instead of two people standing at the front podium and talking, they needed more staff in the restaurant to make sure things like this didn't happen.

This place was well worth the wait!! We waited about 30 mins for a table for 2 on Sunday morning. The breakfast burrito was amazing and super filling ! Food was great! Loved this cute sign in the bathroom sink

We wanted a healthy, hearty breakfast, with vegan options, with fresh ingredients, with delicious and satisfying food. We hit the jackpot! Service is quick, food well prepared and served hot, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Not once did we feel rushed, so we simply enjoyed the food and ourselves. Omelets are wonderfully made (jalapeño, bacon, cheese; harvest omelets), the potatoes are fabulous, the rye and sourdough bread fresh and delicious with fresh butter and a raspberry sauce, and the coffee very tasty. A very satisfying experience in every way!

We always go here while in San Diego. Excellent food. My wife gets the Shrimp and Grits every time. I try most everything from the menu. The various eggs-benedicts are great. Big fan of the Jurassic Pork too. Great service, great atmosphere.

Great place for breakfast. Also have got vegeterian variants. The best time to come to the openning (less crowd)

Although service started slow (saw staff coming in late) we had a very good breakfast. The food is excellent. I would return

A great find during our trip. The food here was very creative and tasted wonderful. The staff was quick and very attentive.

Way to expensive for average food and service. Breakfast patatoes were ice cold at 7.45 in the morning!!I also tried to get the waitress’ attention multiple times to get a top up of coffee!

Creative breakfast combinations, featuring unusual waffles, pancakes and omelets. Big portions at fair prices. On the noisy side and on weekends expect to wait upwards of a half hour for a table if you don't arrive when they open. Didn't much care for their standard body mary, but that's just a matter of taste. Otherwise, lots of fun.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4.5/5) If you’re in San Diego and craving a lively breakfast spot that knows how to start your day right, Breakfast Republic is worth a stop! I ordered the jalapeño sausage and bacon omelet, and it was packed with flavor, spicy, tangy, and downright addictive. The jalapeño sausage had just the right kick, and their homemade hot sauce tied it all together perfectly. My husband went for the breakfast burrito, which came loaded with eggs, cheese, and all the good stuff, plus a side of rice and beans. The burrito was tasty, though the sides could use a little extra seasoning to really make them pop. The portions were huge (come hungry!), the food came out hot, and the service was swift and friendly: shout-out to Adrianna, who took great care of us and kept the vibe upbeat and fun. With reasonable prices, great energy, and creative breakfast options, Breakfast Republic definitely earns a spot on our San Diego favorites list. Perfect for travelers who love generous plates and bold flavors!

Enjoyed Republic Breakfast thoroughly. Food was fabulous and the wait staff was very attentive and nice. Had the omelette and chiquillas. Tasty!!

For our first visit, we chose a weekday. We were seated in just 10 minutes. Our server was attentive. To get a first impression, we ordered a range of menu items: granola, coffeecake, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and a spinach-and-tomato omelet with potatoes. Everything was delicious. We loved the lively atmosphere. We’ll be back.

So we decided to walk here from our hotel. It was 15 min. The wait was 20 min unless we chose to sit outside. So we did. No heaters, it was windy. The service was good. The food was good. I would go back.

We had a 25 minute wait but it was well worth the wait. The portions were large and the beverages were good. The service was excellent and the staff was polite. I had one of the immune builder shots after breakfast.

Decided to go here for breakfast on my final day and wish I had found this spot earlier. Great breakfasts! It was really busy when I went so service was slightly slow, however it was certainly worth the wait and I would happily wait for this food again.

Very interesting menu selection. We had the eggs Benedict and the French toast. Both were very tasty. To drink, we had the coffee, bloody Mary, and mimosa. The quality and taste of the bloody Mary was worthy of any good bar. The service was good, fast, and helpful. The server knew the menu. It was a Monday and the traffic was light. I would presume it is very, very busy on the weekend.

Great place, fun atmosphere and great food. I had the breakfast burrito(HUGE) my wife had the Jambalaya, both were DELICIOUS Highly recommend it his place!

Anniversary trip, staying down in PB at Pacific Terrace. We ask at the Deskperson for breakfast, ?this was the ( go too) place! so thankful we did. Sit at the bar if possible, enjoyed the great service and watching all the delicious types of beverages they offer there. Food was good and came in a timely fashion.

We were lucky to only wait a few minutes for a table as there was a huge queue when we left. I had the bacon pancakes, which were fine - not amazing, but others in my party seemed to enjoy theirs.

Excellent service, delicious coffee and a wonderful breakfast! Had the jambalaya breakfast and an American . Both were tasty.
Delicious breakfast and unique combination of ingredients.
Delicious breakfast and unique combination of ingredients. I loved it! It offers a great variety for vegans and vegetarians. Kind staff.
