Good food, bad service

By ShadraB |

Service was so bad we had to go to front twice to get help finding our waiter. Chris, your tip was as invisible as you made us feel. Food was good, but no refills on drinks, no follow up after food was out, waited nearly 25 minutes to get bill, sitting there with empty plates and cups as he walked by several times. He only had four or five tables, but there were no managers on the floor, and no other server noticed we needed service either. There are TONS of restaurants inside Infinity. Pick a different one.

Average place to eat

By galluvswarmweather |

We visited here b4 a Phillies game, wanted to try a new place. It is a loud restaurant, we were seated outside the restaurant, but still inside the complex, which was just as noisy. The food is good but I thought my sandwich was small for the price and served with bbq chips, thought something better could have been served with a sandwich. We ordered fries but never got them. So no big deal, we had our fries at the ball park! It is fine if you want to grab something quick before a game, but overpriced.

Good beer selection

By 3RedDoxies |

Good beer selection. A lot of Flyers memorabilia on the wall. Good service. Bartender knew the beer selections well.

Hell's Kitchen Lives

By Mark R |

Bullies Pub is in a great location, as it sits within the Infinity Live Complex. This complex houses many venues and sits "next door" to Philly's best sport stadiums and concert halls. With this in mind, it's easy to get food and drink. So, why go or pass up going to Bullies Pub. The bar service was excellent. Alex did a great job keeping the beer in our glasses filled. The kitchen did a horrible job. Pub grub is easy, and well made in most of Philly's restaurants. It failed here. We sampled the boneless wings, pretzel with questionable crab sauce and the sliders. These are not difficult items to generate, but the kitchen at Bullies failed on each item. Of course, the cost was way out of line given the product. I would suggest passing on this establishment and checking out the many other venues within the complex.

Best place to eat in xfinity

By lakers4life6464 |

went to xfinity live for the first time last month and was told to eat at Broad street Bullies. The garlic wings and waffle fries covered in buffalo chicken dip was AWSOME.Staff was VERY NICE and our waitress was the BOMB and very helpful.Cant wait to go back.

We stopped for drinks only

By leetl319 |

After a tour of Citizen's Bank Park, we stopped for some sweet tea (excellent). None of the other restaurants at this location would let us sit, unless we ordered food. Bullies was not only kind enough to let us sit at a table and drink our beverage, the bartender would not let us pay. I will definitely be back for dinner and drinks when we are in town for another game!

Used to be great....NOT ANYMORE

By V A |

Have always enjoyed BSB for all phila pre games. They have dropped their menu to less than a page —-and not very good food. Drinks menu had some good drinks.....if you wanted to drink 46 ounces—-wouldn’t serve smaller sizes—-could get smaller drinks that weren’t as appealing. Won’t be going back

WINGS! And other stuff... :)

By Paul G |

We went to Broad Street Bullies before heading to the Philadelphia Flyers game! The place was packed, of course, but the service was extremely good. The wings are huge (so don't order 20 for yourself unless you're ravenous). The menu offered some good takes on standard pub food. Perfect spot for a pre-event meal.

Nice just not cheap

By Banny9949 |

If tripadvisor had a "good" rating that's how id rate them, but not quote worthy of very good because of higher prices. However the do have very good beer selection and to save a few bucks you can get the 1 litre drafts. They even have huge size but our bartender failed to mention it when I asked. Prices are $10-$12 for the large domestic and more for others. Food looked good but we waited to eat in the stadium. Again over priced because of location and we were warmed that normal chef wasn't working and not get the chicken as planned. Fun atmosphere and great before a game! Fun place to hangout on gameday and probably good to just go watch a game. I'd join the beer club for $25 if you live nearby and can go often enough because that would end up paying for itself.

Fantastic

By Michael T |

We visited before the Army/Navy game and it was excellent all the way around. Food was great, service was great, atmosphere was great.

FUN!

By wbcrops |

We were aazed at the whole complex. The outside bar and bands playing. So much fun! Our trip went over the top when we went to this pub after a flyer's game( that they won!) and my husband met Dave Shultz! He has admired him forever and was wearing his jersey. What a fabulous trip to Philly and this topped the cake!

Great Place

By JimDeBerry |

Went here before Bonnie Raitt concert. Good Wings, Good Drinks. Great Hockey Decor. Pre-game, post game, concert after party, no game, it's still fun.

There are better places to eat at XFinity, but sometimes you don't have time to wait around...

By lostintheair |

Short wait time, super friendly staff (our waiter Chris was excellent!!), but the food was AWFUL. Fried pickle spears saved the meal and they were just slightly better than the fried pickle chips you can get at 2 or 3 other places in the building. I ordered the cheese steak waffle fries and if i had a dog i'd be embarrassed to feed it to him or her. A giant pile of slop, in a delightful, thick grey-brown sauce, with minimal amounts of steak. For a dish as bland as it was, all i could taste was salt and regret. My fiance ordered the buffalo chicken egg rolls, and honestly, fried, greasy egg rolls would have been an improvement. The shells were so dry you could crack them in half, and the "chipotle ranch" tasted like someone just poured seasoning (and WAY too much) into a ramekin of ranch dressing. The house-made chips were good, and the horseradish sauce that came with the pickles was pretty tasty. The only thing keeping this place from a "Terrible" review was the beer list, which features a huge (40 or 50) range of domestic, craft, and imports on tap and draft. Needless to say, I will wait the extra 20-30 minutes to eat at the Victory Beer Hall or NBC Sports Arena in the future.

Awful

By Ed K |

This probably has been the worst two that I have eat in Philly in years. we got the loaded potatoes which was nothing but cheese and mush we found one piece of green onion on it and a few pieces of bacon off of four potatoes. Dunno I had the fried pickles which were super thin and came in a pile and everytime you try to take a piece up the breading fell off. For entree I got the chicken breast sandwich which was nothing but a new piece of precooked chicken. it's a shame I wanted to like the place even though it is extremely noisy. the waitress was the only saving grace. She was very likeable and very attentive. I'm sorry I can't rate her separately.

Great Tailgate Spot

By Melinda R |

These folks held an awesome tailgate in the early morning prior to the Syracuse/Temple game. I had a very light Crispin hard cider with their amazing Asian chicken wings. Friends with me had wings of other varieties, which they also thoroughly enjoyed. Great location next to the sport complex. Highly Recommend!

Solid pre event option if going to game/concert in Philly.

By CoachK2525 |

Nice locale within Xfinity live complex in Arena/Stadium section of Philly. Nachos are awesome and great price. Staff could be a touch quicker. Solid selection of beers/drinks on and off tap. Would go back easily!

Great place for those who love to watch sports

By Michelle M |

Again, I am an avid loyal Philadelphia sports fan, so the review may seem biased, but I love our sports teams. This facility is beautiful, and it has a lot of areas displaying a variety of Philadelphia sports memorabilia. There are different sections divided up with a variety of bars and restaurants. You can go there to watch sporting events with hundreds of other fans or go after a Disney on ice with the family. It is a fun atmosphere to go to. The only thing that I didn't like was the cost of parking in the sports complex area, it can get pricy depending on the event.

Good spot

By bpinch |

Very loud but good. No table service, but no big deal. We visited Bullies after the Boston and Philadelphia hockey game. So it was busy. Ubers just outside de bar wanted $40 for a $15 cab ride. Negotiate or get scammed

Flyered Up

By TommyBoy94 |

INFINITY LIVE is a fun, amped up venue for a youngish crowd determined to have a good old, loud time. I like the Broad Street Bullies because of the large screens and Flyer motif. All of INFINITY is a great place to watch and listen to sports or just to stop before or after an event at the Sports Complex in South Philadelphia. Watching a hockey game there is like being in a smaller and almost as loud Wells Fargo Center. If the game is important enough you get accompanying pyrotechnics, music blasts and loudspeaker cheers. (And yes, once in a while a Flyer game has signficance). The food is average Philadelphia tavern faire for the most part, but tasty and while not cheap, is cheaper than inside the arenas and stadium. The staff are young, eager, fun and easy to look at.

Xfinity Live

By MNGophers2000 |

We were able to get a seat at the bar during the Frozen Four. Not a Flyers fan, but like the hockey set up and the bartenders were friendly and helpful. The food was decent. The whole Xfinity Live setup is great near the two stadiums and arena.

Must be 21 to Enter

By SkysMommy4 |

Don't make the mistake I did and try to bring your teens here to eat before a game, they won't even let u in unless u are 21 years old. No idea why that is as we just wanted to eat. Food is ok, I think it becomes a hangout and club after concerts etc

Great waffle fries. Extra carding was not appreciated.

By Shauna M |

I was at Infinity Live! because my parents were picking up numbers for the Philadelphia Love Run at a tent next to the Infinity Live! building. My parents and I went to the Infinity Live! building to go pick up some lunch. Upon entering the Infinity Live! I showed my ID to demonstrate I was 21+. After showing ID, I received an orange wristband. That was totally fine, not a problem. My parents and I walked into the Broad Street Bullies and were given a table to watch the hockey game because my father is a Penguins fan. The waiter came and asked what I would like to drink. I requested a cider and showed the wristband I received after showing my ID at the door. Regardless, I was still asked to show ID again. It always irritates me when people do this to me. If I didn't have to show my ID when entering Infinity Live!, it would be totally fine and it is totally understandable. The fact that I already showed ID got me annoyed. My father ordered potato skins and a pretzel app, while my mother and I got wings and waffle fries. The food was very good and were all at a reasonable price. Overall, it had a fun atmosphere and the food was great. If the incident with the extra carding did not happen, it would be my first choice at Infinity Live!

Great Place To Grab A Drink Pregame

By AlphaRam |

We stopped in here to get drinks before a Phillies game. I was not happy after getting a terrible cheese steak at Geno's. Anyway, the drinks and the service helped to turn my evening around. Judging by the food I saw, I should have ordered food here. Lots of TVs in the place to follow sports.

My favorite place in xfinity

By Shopaholic_x0 |

Broad Street Bullies is my favorite bar in Xfinity. It's always a good time. They play good music and there's always a huge crowd. Bartenders are friendly too.

Not as bad as other reviews make it out to be

By Lisa M |

We decided to come here before a show at Wells Fargo Center. We had never been to the Xfinity center before so we didn’t know what to expect. The whole place is a bit loud and overwhelming with TV’s. It’s the worlds greatest sports bar, indeed. We picked Bullies since it seemed like the better option. Drinks were good service was decent enough. Our food was quite good. My husband had the club sandwich which was loaded with meat! I had the fish and chips. It was good. Not amazing, but good and better than I was expecting. Tartar is a bit thin. I would come here again.

Disappointing visit on a VERY crowded night

By Luv2Travel_19438 |

My husband and I stopped here for dinner before a Bruce Springsteen concert at Citizens Bank Park. As you can imagine, the place was overrun with customers, and the staff tried their best to keep up, but that was pretty much in vain and overall we had a disappointing dinner. I will say I've dined here before a few times, and usually liked it fine, but that wasn't the case on this particular visit. Once we were seated, it took our server about 10 minutes to get to our table, and probably another 10 minutes to deliver our drinks. Considering the crowds this was pretty much to be expected and didn't bother us as we'd allowed ourselves plenty of time before the show. About 10 minutes after our drinks were served, a different server delivered my husband his burger - setting the plate down and leaving immediately. My husband soon discovered that his request for "no pickles" was forgotten, so he was disappointed about that, but considering the crowds he figured he'd just put up with it (but really didn't like the taste because he really does not like pickles). It took at least another 15 minutes for my dinner to be delivered (my husband was nearly done with his dinner by that point). At one point during the wait our server stopped by to apologize for the delay, saying the order for the burger went in before the order for my chicken sandwich. Mistakes happen, and I appreciated her apology/explanation. Unfortunately when I did finally get my meal it was a big disappointment. I ordered something called a "Crunchy Chicken" sandwich, which turned out to be 4 chunks of deep-friend chicken thigh meat placed in a brioche bun with lettuce and a mild mayo sauce, but it was unwieldy to eat as a sandwich (pieces kept falling out), so I soon resorted to using a fork & knife. What's worse is the taste of the chicken, it was gritty, which makes me wonder if some of the "crunch" came from bone marrow (it sort of tasted like that might be the case).Whatever it was, it was not at all appealing to me, and I would recommend that customers who come here avoid this sandwich. Based on past experience, I can say that the Broad Street Bullies pub does burgers MUCH better... By the way, the restaurant was unbelievably loud when we were there. My husband had an app on his phone that indicated the ambient noise level was 84 decibels. I'd brought earplugs with me in case I needed them at the Springsteen concert (turned out not to be needed there), but ended up using them in the restaurant because it was uncomfortably loud and I didn't want my hearing shot before I even got to the concert. Granted, most of the noise came from the crowds of people there and the furnishings of the restaurant, but the blaring music added to the din. if this had been my first visit to the Broad Street Bullies pub it might have been my last, but based on past experiences I know they can do better (and probably usually do). However, if/when we return I do plan to stick with ordering a burger for sure.

This is the only place to pre-game close to stadiums but staff got overwhelmed quick!

By GeoGiantPa |

Combine an airport bar and Applebees and you get Infinity Live. Its close to the stadiums which is great but when this place gets packed the staff and equipment (taps where going down left and right) can't keep up. Would i go back, maybe, but before i went back I think I'd try hitting another bar then Uber into the stadium. The food was okay, again, if you like the food at Applebees you will like this place.

Great pregame meal

By sconrad1961 |

We decided to forego eating inside the stadium before our Phillies games and try out Xfinity. The food was very good, big portions and affordable for being in a sports bar in a large city. It's very hard to have a conversation though because there are so many other bars also right outside the door. Would stop in again though as we had an enjoyable time. Our server was very attentive to us also.

Why So Rude?

By Heather Crowley |

We came here on the Lacrosse NCAA Championship Sunday. The Syracuse alum were hosting a pre-game event. We paid $5 to get in and it was supposed to get you beer and food specials starting at 10 a.m. We arrived at 10:15 and when we walked in nobody greeted us or anything. We awkwardly sat down at a table. We were promptly told they weren't open. We said well there are SU alums outside taking money for people to get in here and they paid to host this event here.....starting at 10 a.m. The girl gave us a menu and said you get $4 Coors Light and three appetizers (the bad ones) were half price. Yeah, that's not worth it. My mother went to the bathroom and on the way there a girl (we assume she was a waitress) said "Why are you in here, we aren't open yet? Get out." Regardless, we ordered a few beers and appetizers. We went outside to play a few games the Alums had set up in the outside area. We came back to get our food. I had a special order on my loaded fries and it arrived wrong, so I finally just said give me regular fries, which were $5. My sister got Buffalo Chicken Rolls for $10 and she got three, that's right three. They were about the size of small spring rolls. The Xfinity Center is a nice complex, don't get me wrong. It's all new and well built. But the service, food and restaurant experience was horrible.

Won't be back

By SandySue123 |

We came here two hours before a concert with lots of time to get dinner. We waited a long time to get menus, a long time for our order to be taken, and a long time for our meals. When our meals finally arrived mine was cold and my partner's had mustard (he's allergic) and he couldn't even eat it. They offered to make him another but it was going to take too long. We hurriedly ate what we could because it was getting close to concert time. It was a Monday evening and it wasn't busy so I'm not sure what the problem was. In addition I was not happy with my meal quality. I had a chicken wrap with dried cranberries and apple. Pretty simply you would think. I guess apples are really expensive in Philadelphia because there were maybe three very tiny pieces of apple. And one lonely dried cranberry. We won't be coming back to eat here, sorry.

Attentive and knowledgeable staff

By Bunkerhill4343 |

Ended up at Broad Street Bullies at the Xfinity Live at the Philly sport complex because the Xfinity bar was such a disappointment. Thankfully, the bar staff at Broad Street Bullies was very pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable. They must have some good management who knows how to train the staff in being customer focused. Great job. Very nice beer selection and a good place to spend some time before a Phillies or other game at the complex. I highly recommend that the Xfinity Live bar folks take notice of how well Broad Street Bullies is operated and perhaps learn from it.

Sports Beer Hall

By laser20814 |

Located in the parking lot of the South Philly stadium complex, it is a good place for those who don't care to tailgate to get hammered before and after pro games.

Great burgers!

By Lisa B |

Perfect place to go if you are going to the Wells Fargo for an event. Burgers were outstanding! And so we're the fries. Go hungry!

This is the place to be if you love sports

By NonnaG143 |

Anything you want in bar food and drink plus Flyers jerseys of those same Broad Street Bullies that rival the name of City of Brotherly Love. But We Love our Bullies.

Good food and fast service!

By Elcd87 |

Stopped in about an hour and a half before a Saturday night Taylor Swift concert, so you can imagine how many people were looking to eat, but they handled everything like pros. We only needed to seat two people, so it was easier to seat us than it would be a large group, but we waited 25 minutes max for a table. The waitress was super friendly and asked if we were going to the concert. She made sure to get our order in and back out to us ASAP so we could be on our way to enjoy the show. LOVED the Philly cheesesteak waffle fries, but could have left the chicken tender bites behind. Overall good experience, I’ve eaten here before and will again. Bonus, they were even playing Taylor Swift music knowing that their crowd would be primarily for the concert!

Essential post-game drinks with very lively atmosphere

By Dr Stephen |

My wife and I called at Bullies after a 76-ers game in October 2017. Expect to be id'd and tagged at the door. Fir an hour after the game, drinks and selected snacks were discounted. Service was fine, given that the place was packed. Expect quite a few "noisy boys", and boisterous behaviour. But (at least for us), it was warm-spirited and overall just a part of game day fun. We'd very likely call again. Final thought - a good place to wait for your Uber. Drivers seem to know it well.

Really good sports bar

By Ritchie Cortez |

It's inside this huge sports complex that I highly recommend if you like a good bar scene. If you like ribs, they are excellent here. Great place to watch any sports.

Pre-Game Drinks & Food

By DaveJHarris74 |

A superb bar situated within xfinity live in the Philadelphia Sports Complex. The staff are friendly and polite and the set up is ideal for meeting before the big game. The food and drink were nice however the chicken wings were amazing!! I wish I could visit this place more often but living in England I can only enjoy it when I get to visit. Highly recommended.

Pre-game meal

By Alan G |

I was planning on getting a meal at the ballpark prior to the start of the game, but noticed this pub as I was walking along. Having an interest in pubs, I decided to enter. Glad I made that decision. Menu is quite extensive. Burgers are excellent. I will have to try some of their other choices the next time I gat back that way.

Stay away from the fish and chips

By Debbie S |

We went to Bullies today before the Phillies home opener. My husband ordered the Bullies Burger and loved it. I ordered the Fish and Chips and was so very disappointed. It was 2 very small pieces of battered cod and had absolutely no flavor or seasoning whatsoever. It was served over french fries which could have used some more salt. The "cole slaw" that was served with it was about a tablespoon of shredded cabbage with a little dressing and celery seeds sprinkled on it. It too was bland as heck. For the price ($14.00) it could have been a heck of a lot better and had more fish with it. I for one will never order this item again.

Don't go if you are eating

By oddjob |

Reasonable Sports Bar with no table service. Tables were wobbly beyond belief and chairs were breaking under us. The biggest problem was the food. Pretty much inedible and an above premium price charged. Eat anywhere else at Xfinity but here

Great Place After The Game in Philly

By audittflyer |

Bullies is located in the Infinity Live center at the Philly Sports Complex - lots of choices of pub / bar fare here - Bullies has a decent list of draft and bottled beers; the burgers are excellent and service was good despite the crowds. Bullies is a great place to chill before or after any game - nice to sit with a burger and a beer while watching the parking lots empty out knowing that you will be avoiding all of the traffic!

Grest

By Mpriester |

We went in before a ball game, not 100% sure what we were going to get. Because of the location I was kind of expecting an overpriced meal but the prices were very reasonable. I had the wings and they were easily the biggest I’ve ever seen.

Wish there were more places to choose from

By disneybonvoyage |

We went to Xfinity before a LAX game. There was no direction in the Xfinity area as to how to get a seat so we made our way to Broad Street Bullies and were able to get a table. While the wings and burgers were good and fairly priced, however my husband had the sampler platter at $16.99. There were 2 wings, 2 small cheesesteak rolls and 2 onion rings. So not worth the price. We also ordered the cheesesteak rolls as an appetizer to share. Good luck sharing, there were only (3) small rolls for $9.99. Definitely would not order again. Just seemed like some things were a good value and others were not. Atmosphere was loud, but it is a bar. We were just really disappointed with the whole area when trying to get food on-site before a game and having a place to sit to eat it. I would suggest stopping somewhere before you get to the game site area.

Go here

By Sophie D |

Good food and environment, nice staff, walking distance to all sports facilities, beer menus are digitally displayed, ample parking.

Fun place for a meal

By CMEDS |

Had dinner here before a 76ers game. It was packed, but we were able to get a table. The one big complaint I have is it is extremely loud in the restaurant, making it very hard to hear both the people at your table and the wait staff. The food is basic, not a ton of selection, but good. The prices are a bit higher than warranted, but it is the sports complex area. It was a fun place to be when sports are going on and at the time there were people celebrating the Flyers win, watching the Union and Phillies, and waiting for the 76ers game later than evening.

Alot of TV Screens

By zetaspeechlady |

Pros: 1)You can literally watch every game on the over 20 or so TV screens located throught the restaurant. 2) It's huge 3)Big hangout for sports fans 4) Located across from the football and baseball stadiums. Cons: 1) We had to pay $5 cover charge per person. 2) Very crowded, 3) Have to wait forever for a vacant table, 4) if ur able to find a table on your own then you risk the hostess asking you to get up or you won't get an assigned waitress. Overall, wait and eat inside the stadium if ur going to a game.

Food?

By Mike M |

We were early to a phillies game and decided to grab a snack and beer. The steak waffle fries were gross. It was unpleasant to even smell. The pretzel bites were burnt but with the mustard and cheese sauce we didn't mind them to much. The place has a cool feel to it though. Oh Just don't get a draft beer (warm/flat).

Bas experience

By Patricia |

My husband an I decided to eat here before the Phillies game bad idea. I first ordered a beer. When the beer came it had a strange taste like it had been sitting around awhile and a metal taste to it. It also had a strange smell. I sent it back and decided to just drink water. We ordered our food I got chicken nuggets from the appetizer menu they ok but not great. My husband ordered a brisket hamburger When we got our food they brought out a brisket sandwich with no burger. we had to send that back .We waited a little while and he got his burger.. He ordered a medium burger but got a burger so well done it was hard to eat. We also ordered a coffee which never came. To say we will never go back. Should have just eaten at the ball park at least we would have gotten better food at the same price.

Gluten free drink before Streisand

By Ken S |

Nice staff and high energy atmosphere attached to Xfinity. Loud but fun. Omission gluten free beer and potato skins sans bacon and cheese worked well. Burgers r pre-blanched so rare or medium are not options. Go early and sit at bar. Great selection on tap.

Just average

By mss12078 |

Location outside the stadiums is really the biggest draw. We sat at the bar and had a couple of beers which I thought were reasonably priced. Service was OK and the food is average, basically what you would expect, nothing to write home about. Couple other places to eat outside the stadiums and might try those next time.

Pre-football game lunch and drinks

By Mary |

We stopped in here for a couple of drinks before a football game at Lincoln Financial. The gin and tonics were MOSTLY tonic and the service was SLOWER than molasses. I would not recommend, unfortunately they have a captive audience with their location.

Great food

By Joe T |

Nice spot really close to the stadiums. Small menu, but well priced. Had a 12' pizza for $11. The tv set up is also top notch, Would be a great place to watch a game if you didn't have a ticket
