We chose the Bronze Bird for breakfast because of the reviews. It was a great choice. We actually are staying at the Westin Bayview and the Bronze Bird is in the other Westin in the Gaslamp Quarters. It is within walking distance from the other Westin. Bronze Bird does have a buffet but we ordered the Bronze Bird Breakfast and the Bronze Birdito. We had the coffee which is Starbucks brand. Our total was about $55 before tip. Our server was great.

A Perfect Date Night Spot! This place is absolutely beautiful for a date night and creating unforgettable memories. Javier was an exceptional host and waiter, making our experience even more special. Chef Marley's passion for cooking truly shines through every dish, and the service was spectacular. My fiancé was completely surprised and delighted!

I really enjoyed every meal that had here. I travel a lot for my job and I usually not impressed with hotel restaurants. This one is a gem. I’ve had the ginger wings twice! The pastel egg white omelet was amazing as well. Most importantly, Nate and his team were fantastic! Jessica was so friendly and attentive. I would come back here even if I did not stay at the Westin.

We had breakfast here for the whole of our stay in San Diego, although weren’t guests at the hotel. We were made to feel very welcome by Kenna, Ricky and Mariana. The service was great and they were all friendly and attentive. The food was really good and great value for money. Set us both up for the day! Definitely worth a visit.

Food and drinks were great, manager Michael and his team were amazing and the service was excellent. I would recommend this spot over just about any in the SD area just because of the staff and the service. 10/10 would recommend again.

This is our second time at the Westin Gaslamp. Our younger daughter is attending SDSU and we most recently stayed here while moving her in. It is the perfect location and very well maintained hotel. However it is the staff that makes this hotel second to none.Our older daughter stayed back at the hotel to complete some work for her internship and ate both breakfast and lunch at the Bronze Bird. Juan and Jessica took excellent care of her ( and the food was wonderful). During the day my younger daughter fell ill And returned to the hotel with me rather than staying in her new apartment. We joined my older daughter at The Bronze Bird for dinner (3rd meal for her😂) Even though it was not on the menu, Jessica was able to get her a smoothie so my daughter was able to eat something. She and Juan were very concerned for her. After we went up to our room we heard a knock on the door and it was Juan Jessica and the manager bringing up snacks as well as a Gingerale for my younger daughter with a kind note! It was the sweetest gesture. We will never forget their kindness. Well done Westin for finding these excellent humans!

Dinner, drinks, and dessert at The Bronze Bird and having Juan as our host was the best part of our stay at the Westin. Juan is the example of top notch hospitality!!

not sure how much it cost as it was included with our room, but lots of choices, plus eggs or omelets made to order and coffee, tea, or orange juice. Service was quick and friendly, food was tasty and plentiful. Just not exciting, but you don't expect exciting at a hotel buffet

This was the best meal we had in San Diego. We were actually staying at the other Westin, the Bay View, which seemed to have mediocre dining choices. We had seen good reviews of the Bronze Bird so decided to give it a try. The food was outstanding, but I think my favorite part was the service. Whoever is running their service operation knows what they are doing - just the right amount of attention to keep guests comfortable. I highly recommend the watermelon salad - it was SO good.

I stayed at the Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter for a week over the Christmas holidays. What elevated my stay was dining at the Bronze Bird Restaurant, situated on the hotel’s ground level. The food was always delicious, reasonably priced, the right amount, cooked on point (e.g. salmon was done just right) and the service was absolutely fantastic. I agree with the previous reviewer that Juan and Jessica are wonderful. I will add a couple more names of staff that also made me feel both welcome and taken care of: John Ford, Ruben, and Sean. For my last day in San Diego, upon my request, John kindly recommended two potential activities. I ended up going to Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve for a hike. Aside from my wonderful experience at this restaurant, my hike was likely the highlight of my trip. Thank you!

Fantastic food and drinks, Matt was a fantastic server. Helped us with questions we had on food choices and overall was a really nice guy. Great spot before a show!

The best staff. Especially Adam F. He was so kind to us and recognized my daughter for her graduation in such a nice way. Aldo David at the front desk was so helpful and kind.

A very nice meal at a surprisingly reasonable price. The lighting and atmosphere in the restaurant was good and relaxing. We had great service, not hurried at all.

We had a wonderful dinner here. Prices were surprisingly reasonable for such upscale food. Everything we ordered was delicious - short rib tacos, salmon, citrus arugula salad with chicken, fries, and even the kids meatballs were amazing. The service was excellent too! Javier was our server and he was very helpful. I have celiac disease and he was knowledgeable about which items would not have cross contamination. I even had the gluten free marscapone dessert. We would definitely come back!

We are on a couples weekend and stayed at the Westin. The Bronze Bird isn’t your average hotel restaurant!! It’s amazing

Ernesto was very attentive and smiled the entire time I was there. Very professional. Would highly recommend this place to future customers.
Service and food were wonderful
We had a variety of dishes from pretzel with jalapeño cheese (very light on the spicy- which is perfect for us), bisque tomato soup (thick and real bread croutons), cheeseburger pizza (no lettuce or tomato for our picky eater), grilled salmon, and spinach and arugula salad (so light on the salad dressing). All was delivered as it was prepared and at the perfect temp.
