Good Food, Fun Atmosphere

By Steve D |

Went here for lunch on a Sunday with lots of NFL action on TV at the time. Atmosphere & food was great but wasn't impressed with the additional "taxes" levied by the place to cover staff wages. It appears with the increase in minimum wage, restaurants & bars can add a surcharge to cover their extra costs. To the best of my knowledge, other places across the USA and the world have to suck it up when they have to pay their staff a living wage.

Enjoyable Evening

By PrincessPeach1114 |

Very inviting, cozy neighborhood pub. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. Enjoyed the macaroni and cheese and a ginger beer. Will definitely be back.

Great casual lunch spot

By Christine S |

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Excellent food - even the salad which is not the normal for a bar/pub. Wait staff was friendly and accommodating to any requests we had.

Decent place, rather pricey.

By jkak2 |

Nice atmosphere. Food was very good, had a burger and tator tots. Downside dinner and 3 drinks $65. Was close to my hotel and hotel had no food or drinks.

Nice place for a bite and a drink

By stevecee |

Stopped in on a Saturday night to grab a bite to eat and a drink. Typical bar scene, food was decent and the drinks were good. Service was very good! Nice place for a comfortable meal and keep up with the sports on TV.

Very Good Sports Restaurant

By Paula An |

On the way to the Paul McCartney concert we looked for a place to eat before. Found Buckley's on Queen Anne. The time of day we went was a good time we didn't have to rush. It also was only about 2 blocks from the venue. The food and atmosphere was really nice. The staff couldn't do enough & kept checking on us. We had Mai Tie,s and they were excellent, and our food was very good as well. The prices were reasonable. Very casual, good food, great staff and close to Key Arena, couldn't ask for better. Try it you'll like it.

Good food and service

By Fiesta0317 |

It was our first visit to Buckley's. My husband had the Chicken Marsala and I had the Flat Iron Steak. I cut the steak as soon as I received my dinner the steak was prepared incorrectly. I got the attention of the waitress/hostess. The waitress/hostess acknowledged that the steak was not prepared correctly and told me a new steak would be prepared. Overall both meals were very good as well as the service. If you are in the area I would recommend stopping here for dinner. We will return when we are in the area.

Adequate sports bar

By osprey38 |

Good set up for viewing sports, interesting flags of teams from across the country. Tap beer selection is ok but no current list is on the table-standard list in the menu with rotators: when I asked the server about tap brew selection, he directed me to the menu. Yeah, I had already looked @ it and wanted to know about current beers, he seemed annoyed. Also, 'large portions' highlighted by our server twice, but I didn't really think so. Regardless, I'd rather have quality over quantity as a selling point-food was average.

Fun little find

By J R |

Walking around looking for something to eat after checking into our hotel and stumbled upon this quaint neighborhood gem. Ate their highly recommended Thai ribs. Super Yummy! Enjoyed a few Alameda Mules too.

Good Food!!

By Jim D |

We were staying at the Homewood Suites and we made the short walk to Buckley's. The place was very busy but we didn't have to wait for a table. The waiter was quite busy and he took awhile to get to us. However, everything (drinks, food and the bill) came very quickly after the slow start. We found the food to be very good with generous servings. The decor is obviously that of a pub with alot of TV's tuned to sporting events. Overall we really enjoyed the visit and would come again if we are in the area.

Easy Lunch

By txflygirl |

We were there during the afternoon while it was quiet, met the owner, he was cool and funny. The food wasn't bad. Nothing good or bad to report. We had a nice visit and would definitely come back!

Great Neighborhood Bar

Delicious food, especially the Thai sesame ribs. Excellent service and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone is friendly.

True neighborhood pub!

By 55geneb |

Stayed at Homewood Suites just down the street and they recommended the burgers at "Buckley's". It was a great call. Fun atmosphere, casual, friendly staff and good food. Lot's of beers on tap, try the "juicy Lucy" burger, stuffed with cheese....great burger.

Great Fresh Food!

By DeborahSETA |

we were in Seattle for the weekend driving between the Great Wheel and heading to Myrtle Edwards Park when we saw the neighbourhood pub pop-up on Google. The ingredients in our meals were WONDERFUL and fresh and so so so tasty! They also had a beer we were unfamiliar with on tap .... Mayo.... I recall... I am NOT a beer drinker but kept sipping this liquid magic all throughout my meal.

Best Burgers!

By Frank F |

Best burger in Seattle!! Recommended by the Mediterranean Inn and only two blocks away. Great sports bar with the best burgers in town! Great spot to eat.

Great Food - Fun Sports Bar

By Irishlass L |

On a business trip to Seattle I had the pleasure of visiting Buckley's on Queen Anne for Sunday brunch. Seattle Seahawks were playing and it was super busy. The atmosphere was great and even though they were busy they made sure we got a nice little corner table. The breakfast menu had good variety and what I ordered was delicious. The service was good and even though the food was a little delayed, due to being so busy, the server came and left us know that so we weren't wondering which was great. Overall super fun place to watch a game & delicious food. Well worth a visit.

Quick Seattle Visit

By pattipumpkin |

This was our second visit to Buckley’s. We love the Sports Bar Atmosphere and Decor, even our Awesome Oregon’s Ducks are represented. The food was good, we both had Burgers, Beer selection adequate and the Tots were hot and Tasty. I had to take away a Star for the Bathroom. Old, cold and dirtiest floors I’ve ever seen. Need to get into those dirty corners at least every 6 months. Won’t stop me from coming back though.

A great neighborhood hangout.

Bacon Mac N Cheese Burger ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

By Robert W |

Our server Giselle took excellent care of us! Had the fried Pork Loin Sandwich with Tots! Was pretty good but the wife's Bacon Mac N Cheese Burger with Sweet Potatoe Tots was over the top deliciousness! Was about a block from our hotel, if you're visiting Seattle you should definitely check this out!

Excellent bar food and drinks with great service!

By sexybaby7399 |

We went here for a business lunch with my daughter and her friend Jackie to discuss taxes as both are tax clients. My daughter ordered sweet potato tots which were delicious and different. Her friend and I each had a Reuben with sweet potato fries. The reubens were excellent and substantial and came with large orders of fries. We could easily have split one as they were that big. It’s great to find a place that doesn’t skimp on the corned beef and gives you a substantial rather than skinny Reuben. The fries were a little overdone but tasty. Bloody Marys were excellent and reasonable! Highly recommended!

Locals sports pub

By loveDCA |

There are two buckleys locations (the other is in belltown) and this one is more of a laid back local vibe. Full restaurant menu with lots of table, bar, and patio seating with lots of TVs to catch a game. Great service.

Great sports pub with lots of beer and food choices

By nylady21 |

We loved the flags representing many college and pro sports teams hanging from the ceiling. Several TVs were playing games of local interest. Many of the patrons were clearly locals who knew each other, but we were welcomed and felt comfortable. The menu has a broad selection of sandwiches and burgers and we enjoyed everything we ordered.

3 days in a row

By Kevin L |

It’s pretty hard to get a 5 star review from me. Actually this might me the first. So, 5 Stars all the way. The food was excellent and the service top notch, but that didn’t make the restaurant, it’s the employees and the overall atmosphere. Very personal and engaging. A HUGE shout out to Jon behind the bar. If you’re ever in the area, do yourself a favor and give this place a try!!

Dinner

By KateRyder |

We have been traveling since early this morning and wanted an easy dinner with in walking distance of the hotel. We went early at 4 so it wasn't crowded. The service was quick and the food was amazing!! Two of us got burgers, my husband got a cheese steak and my oldest daughter. Veggie omelet. It was a lot of food and all of it was sooooo good! Staff was friendly and our waiter was excellent. I would definitely go back again

Great local pub!

By Jaminoe |

We happened upon Buckley's because we were on our last day of our trip to Seattle and wanted to find a place to watch the Notre Dame game. We found them online and so glad we did. Not only did we get to watch the game with a ton of other fans the staff was so nice trying to fit us in where they could, the service was great and the atmosphere was just fun. Ok - my one complaint would have to be the prices. Now i am not from a big city but $6 plus for a beer and almost $10 for some moz cheese sticks seemed pretty steep for a Saturday afternoon game. I would however go back if i ever happen to be in Seattle!

Nice sports bar with good food

By JR_Cirpka |

If you are into sports - or just want to see how American's can enjoy their sports - this is the place to be. And if you are hungy - they serve good hamburgers too!

Good Food Fun atmosphere

By mary h |

Good food, American comfort style foods. nice outdoor patio eating area. Staff are friendly and nice. Good for drinks or dinner

A neighborhood place that seems great if you live in the area. But...

By wayne w |

We stopped for a beer on the way back from the locks. Street parking is paid and it, like the beer we had, was not inexpensive. It's a nice enough place with competent servers but paying for parking while drinking high priced beer is not my dream afternoon.

Great college sports bar with cozy neigbourhood feel

By Roland H |

Fun atmosphere to go for a beer and watch some college sports or of course a Seahawks game. It gets packed so better get a reservation! Awesome burgers and a mean Mac & Cheese!

Great for Drop-In Meals or Take-Out

By Bill V |

I live near Buckley's on Queen Anne and drop-in several times a year for a good meal at a reasonable cost, and it's been on my short-list for quick meal take-outs for years. The cod fish and chips are my favorite, with the Jucy Lucy and Lucinda Caliente cheeseburgers in second and third place. The service is friendly and helpful and, when something isn't quite right, they always fix it as quickly as possible. It's also a good local pub for a beer, crowded big games on TV and a fun place to hang out on Queen Anne if you have extra time on your hands.

Best Cod sandwich I've ever had!

By Holdenbnd |

The restaurant has excellent food (cod sandwich is the very best and this from an Easterner from CT), excellent service and very pretty too and within walking distance from our hotel just around the corner. Went twice in a week with the family and very satisfied each time.

Best bar for college and nfl football

By Jenn |

Best bar to watch college and NFL football. Many TVs to watch your game. Open early Saturday morning for the early east coast games. Breakfast Tacos were amazing. Biscuits and gravy were excellent. Best Bloody Mary in town and the bar tender was superb at his job. Loved it so much we went 2 days in a row and will go back the next time we are in town. Local joint that was super cool to tourists

Continually Good

By Carla H |

We love Buckley's It's got such a fun friendly atmosphere. There's always games on if there's something you want to watch. It's a great place to go with friends or as a couple. Wait staff is always efficient & friendly. Whenever there's an Asian Chicken Salad on the menu I try it. It's one of my favorite salads to eat. And I think Buckley's has one of the best I've ever tried. I like how they've added diced bacon to it. Along with the mandarin oranges to make a sweet/savory salad.

Good pub for lunch!

By Mary C |

Enjoyed a gyro plate with sweet potato fries. How great is that?! My husband likes to go for the draft Guinness, lots of other good brews too.

A neighborhood pab/restaurant

By Eestigirl |

We had been in meetings all day and it was raining, so we opted to find a place close by for a light dinner. Our hotel staff told us they had had good reports about Buckley's so we walked the few blocks. We found it to be more of neighborhood pub (we were hoping for fresh seafood), but fine. We primarily ordered entree salads and one person had the fish and chips - the food was good, but our expectations were for something a bit more upscale.

Enjoyed Our Meal Outside at Buckley's

By swoodruf |

It was a beautiful day in Seattle, so we decided to sit outside. Both my granddaughter and I ordered the Cobb Salad for dinner. It was a little surprising when we got it as it is served mixed with dressing. It was very tasty, and we both enjoyed it. The service was terrific. The menu had lots of great items on it. I would have ordered the cheeseburger, but I just wasn't hungry enough. The burgers were over $20 each! Overall, to be fair, the price of food in restaurants is quite high in Seattle.

Great spot to watch a game

By ANDREW S |

Great bar and good food. Cheese curds came out piping hot and delicious. Bbq burger was a generous size and I ended up eating it with a fork and knife. Friendly bartender. I was there for business but seemed like everyone else were regulars.

Good for pub-like food

By travellingBill2011 |

This place is good if you want to experience a pub but is very much more a sports bar. Food is good. Staff are friendly. Try a booth. If you follow North American sports then this is a good place to be that is not too far away from some hotels in the area.

Meh - ok...

By mercurysqueen |

A neighborhood sports bar is a neighborhood sports bar. This one was no different. Our food was mediocre but kudos to a very friendly and attentive wait staff. The beer offerings were extensive and quite good. I ordered the steak sandwich au jus. The meat was so dry that it was good there was au jus to make it more palatable. Served with onion straws and tots, it was ok, but not memorable. My husband tried the lamb gyro - not bad, he says, but the meat was dry. My mom tried the steak and eggs. Again, not memorable but it was presented well. This place survives on loyal locals and that’s good. Food could be much better, though. We had higher hopes.

Nice atmosphere

By Dani R |

We had lunch here and watched US Open coverage. Lots of TV's and board games available to play. Food was good although a bit expensive. Server was "filling in" but was really friendly, quick and helpful (called us a cab). Would probably come back later in the day for Happy Hour and/or beers and apps.

A rocking place

By Owen Thesaints |

My wife and I were staying in a hotel just a couple of blocks away. The reviews looked good so we thought we’d give Buckley’s a try. The atmosphere was pretty full-on with an NBA final about to get underway. Service was slick. I had a couple of glasses of draught cider which slipped down a treat on such a warm afternoon. The food was good - shrimp pasta and flat iron steak. We both enjoyed the meal - cooked well and came up pretty quickly. We were pretty full when we left - heading down to the waterfront for some later afternoon sun and an ice cream. Happy days.

try those ribs!

Took the family here for lunch. I had the ribs, my son had a cheese burger. We both enjoyed the food. We also tried the onion rings,

Update your website menu please!

By Pam W |

I've visited this Buckleys for 8 years and got the same salad each time, the Mandarin salad. It's got everything and quite delicious! I was surprised and saddened to find out after ordering it this trip that although they made it for me, they no longer offer it. I'm traveling so I checked their website before calling in my order and there it was..... So I say .... " update your website please!"

Good place to hang in the the area

By TJB125 |

Nice people. Decent selection of beers. Full bar. Food made growing teens happy, good compromise and very casual.

Do yourself a favor and go try this place.

By ericlH6510HJ |

Probably the best Mac-N-Cheese I’ve had in my almost 60 years on earth. The service and ambience were great as well. My wife had the fried chicken and said it was fantastic.

mixed feeling

By SeattleEcc |

We come here fairly often because we are Packers fan. We really do like this place a lot and we just have one complaint. First let us start with the positives. The food is very very good, as good as bar food can be. They are done right, whether it is a simple salad or a hamburger. They are very fresh. The atmosphere is fun. The wait staff is so friendly and professional. The happy hour is superb. Regardless where you sit, there is a TV screen aiming at you. The only complaint is about the bathroom. While it is clean, there is an awful smell. It is hard to describe the smell. Maybe it is just the smell of an old building. This is important as this being a sports bar, the endless alcohol sends one to the bathroom often and it is just hard to have to bear the smell repeatedly.

Great Pub Food

By Dnnklly |

We stopped by here late at night for a quick bite and and food was really good and the atmosphere was very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Supreme pub grub

By DeanMurphy2020 |

On my last night in Seattle, the good folks at Moore Hotel (Second Avenue near Virginia Street) recommended Buckley’s for its good food and service. I was pleased with both. When travelling, I prefer to eat, not “dine.” I had the Bleucy Lucy, a mega-burger with blue and brie cheeses ($15.95), and a pint of Irish Anesthesia☺, the Nine Pound Porter dark ale ($5.75). This is the epitome of comfort food and highly recommended for both the food and excellent service.

Reputation precedes great meal

By mshbnyehud |

Even before I went to Buckleys for the first time, I heard about it from others as a reasonably priced restaurant/bar with great food, sports HDTVs, and really good value. Check. Check. Check. Fortunately for me, this place is only 3 blocks from my summer rental, and I can go back (which I obviously will). Drinks were offered immediately in the bar, where I commanded a high stool private table with excellent views of 3 different sports events. Wine by the glass was not on a printed menu that I was given, but they had several options. I was impressed by the substantial pour at a reasonable price. The really good news is that there's so much choice on the menu, I just have to go back to try other items. For this evening, I selected the blackened fresh salmon sandwich which I ordered with the chipotle aioli sauce on the side. They actually brought two different chipotle sauces, both wonderful. I selected tater tots as my accompaniment. They were piping hot and so crispy! The salmon sandwich was fabulous! While not being "wild caught" sockeye, this was a very tasty, perfectly cooked and spiced sandwich on a fresh ciabatta roll. I loved every morsel. I'm sure that I'll be back numerous times this summer. Kudos to the entire team!

Great local pub. Friendly service. Food is better than you would expect from corner pub

By Beantastic |

Friend took me here. Great service. Friendly and attentive. Leaking ceiling is the only negative for atmosphere. Quiet for sports bar. Everyone knew each other so gave it that special feel. Food was actually good. Hawaiian burger was tasty and fries delicious. Meatloaf sliders also very good. Recommend if you need a nice place to watch sports and eat. Might be louder on event days so be warned.

Nice place but overly expensive

By VickVega |

Very cool bar. Sports themed with college banners from all over the country hanging from the ceiling. Good food and good beer selection. You can tell it would be a fun place to watch a college football game on Saturdays in the fall Very expensive though. $12-15 for a sandwich. 2 sandwiches and 3 beers plus tip was $60. A little steep IMO.

A nice pub with good food

By UWHusky1968 |

We dropped in for lunch on a weekday and the place has college/sports team banner/pennants and signs/posters everywhere giving it a festive sports bar atmosphere. It's probably a great place to watch games on their multiple TVs. We shared a burger and an apple salad. The salad was excellent as was the sweet potato fries that came with the burger. The burger was OK but was far from the requested medium rare. The well stocked bar included a nice selection of WA state wines and local draft beers.

Don't miss this one!

By Tom S |

Had a great dinner at this restaurant that we just stumbled upon! Sandwiches are top notch! Service was great. Recommend the Alaskan Cod sandwich. Sweet potato fries.

Great sports bar

By John G |

Great neighborhood sports bar. The bartender was really nice and the burger was delicious.

Great local bar with good food

By Sladphie |

To look at this bar at first, you might not expect the food to be anything special. But we stopped here while vacationing in town, looking for a casual dinner, and we were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. We had the pub steak, the chicken stir-fry, ham and pretzel roll, and the kids' grilled cheese. Everything was delicious. This is the type of place that we would frequently visit if we lived nearby.

God Food & Beer

By vic f |

Close to Hotel for walking no car required, good staff & sporty Pub, nice choice of food, inside and outside seating plenty of sports on TV screens. and choices of beer and spirits

Poor customer service!!!

By Shawn J |

Ladies and gentlemen this pub is filled with rude security and inattentive bartenders. Some one grabbed my drinks and right after I was harassed by security. Would not recommend.

Very nice

By Ewan T |

We had a few drinks hear and service was great. Atmosphere was really chilled and beers were lovely and cold.

Great Bar Food with a Great Mix of People

By Tom Pamperin |

A co-worker and I stayed at the Homewood Suites Downtown (2nd and Western) in Seattle for 4 days. The folks at the hotel recommended this neighborhood bar as a great place for burgers. We went there are our last night. This is a hidden gem as far as I am concerned. It is definitely a neighborhood bar with all ages there. It is eclectic in design and our waiter was fantastic! We both ordered burgers and onion rings. We both agreed the burgers were great and the onion rings were good too. And, by Seattle prices the place is reasonable if you are living on per diem. I say, give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

Fun bar

By TruckeeTroutTraveler |

Great local bar with some fun patrons, staff and bar talk. Cool atmosphere in a space that just says... Sit back, enjoy a beer and have a good time. Patio on front and side for those days that allow outdoor seating and a few cold ones. Bartender was super nice and the small bite bar food is fun nd perfect for sharing with some buddies. Nothing fancy but perfect!

If you're looking for a Seattle Area Pub, try this place out!

By Kent M |

We have made three recent trips here for dinner. Wonderful Pub Food, with attentive staff! Fun place to watch sports and enjoy a cold beer.

Perfect Pub

By Sabcfamily |

Just one block from the excellent Homewood Suites by Hilton on Western Ave this genuine pub has good food, service and atmosphere. While the multiple TV screens can make is a bit loud, the decor and service make it feel like a true neighbourhood pub. The food is standard pub fare done well - the fries are especially crispy and the beer offerings are very varied. We go every time we are at the Homewood Suites.

Food & Service are Great for a Sports Bar!

By WHDSM |

This place was really good and I highly recommend. For a sports bar they have really good food. A little on the pricier side, but worth every penny and you are in Seattle. I had to have 2 orders of their "Pub BBQ Wings" ($7) from the appetizer list because I really enjoyed the taste of the sauce. Which was titled a Thai sweet BBQ flavor. After that I sampled the jalapeno poppers with cream cheese ($6). They were ok, not very hot and nothing special to me. For the main dish I ate a blackened salmon sandwich with tator tots ($12) then water. Mixed drinks are $6.50 to $15 depending on the alcohol. Staff was friendly and I will re-visit if in the area again, highly enjoyable experience. Bring a sport team banner... If they do not have it up on the ceiling then they will hang it up there. Of course they get to keep it! LOL RetiredArmyRANGER

Walked up from hotel

By EllenTravels2015 |

Arrived prior to check-in at our hotel, so based on the locals recommendation, we walked one long block uphill to Buckley’s. For a 2 pm lunch, the spot was crowded due to soccer on TV. Great atmosphere & friendly service, as 15 weary travelers descended upon them. Street tacos, burgers, salads, manmosas (a manly mimosa) - all good. It took a bit longer than expected to pay & depart, but would recommend Buckley’s when in the neighborhood.

Good Food!

This restaurant was located just around the corner from our hotel, Homewood Suites on Western Ave. Good food, great value and good vibe at this neighborhood place!

Great bar. Was hurting for food at midnight while staying at a near by hotel. Got a drink and ordered food for the family. Ordered pulled pork sliders, chicken taco, corn dog and cheeseburger. All was very good and plenty. Bar is roomy, good service and friendly. Will be heading back tonight. Big supporter of college sports. AU #WarDamnEagle

Much more than a sports bar

By DP49 |

We have passed Buckley’s over the years but feeling they were only a sports bar, we never stopped in. That was, until we saw an episode on the Food Channel that highlighted the ribs. We went for a Monday lunch and arrived just as they were opening at 11:30am. A handful of locals were already seated and, over the course of an hour, there was a steady stream of diners coming and going. The décor definitely leans towards a sport bar setting, but the footprint is 80% restaurant and 20% bar. We sat in one of the comfortable booths on the restaurant side. While the menu was large with an interesting offering of variety of dishes, I went with their signature rib appetizer. The ribs were baked to a fall off the bone consistency then deep-fried to a perfect crisp and basted in a delicious Asian-flavored sauce. My take of the appetizer—excellent! My wife had the Hummus Plate that came with a very generous serving of hummus, cucumbers, olives, roasted red peppers and pita. She commented that the perfectly textured hummus was some of the best she has had. We also shared an order of Calamari that was fried to perfection with a nicely seasoned light breading. During the course of our meal we commented to our server about our initial hesitation to dine here, which was reinforced by their sports bar-focused website. He was quite congenial and told us that on the previous Sunday’s Mariners game, the place was SRO with a sound volume off the chart. So, yes, this is a sports bar. But, if you can avoid game day, it has the feeling of a really great neighborhood pub that serves outstanding food. We will definitely return….just not on game day. Plus, while we were lucky enough to find a metered spot on the street, I feel that parking can be a problem.

The Local Watering Hole

By YnotSivraj |

This is not your date night or big impression restaurant. This is where you go with friends to just get out. Casual, friendly a little unkempt but good food, beverages and atmosphere. No judgement. Hearty portions of traditional sandwiches and entrees well prepared and served effectively. Go, relax and unwind.

Now that’s what I call a burger

By 1952Steve311 |

Roland from the Mediterranean Inn recommended Buckley’s to us for a quality burger, and we were blown away. Buckley’s is very eclectic, has heaps of memorabilia (including the Boxing Kangeroo Flag, which made us feel right at home) and a bucket load of TV’s. I had The Judy Lucy and Lyn The Bleucy Lucy, both had 8oz patties and came with your choice of fries, slaw or tots (potato jems to us Aussies), our eyes popped out when we saw the size of those mothers. To wash it down we had a Jim Beam and coke each, both were of a VERY generous pour and made our hair curl. Our server was Caroline and she was very attentive and polite. Total bill US$56.25 A great feed and highly recommended.

Great food, ok staff

By Floridatraveller75 |

Food is great...tons of comfort foods like steaks, burgers, chicken, and ribs. Lunch service can be very slow as it gets busy...took about an hour to order, eat, and be out the door. Dinner is a bit faster. Staff is okay, but servers don't always smile and seem to be bothered by customers rather than excited to greet them.

It's a great place to grab a casual meal and watch your hometown team on one of the many screens there. Good beer selection, decent menu and a fun clientele.

Consistently Good Food

By Tracey M |

Close to the Seattle Center, it is a great spot for visitors who want more than fast food. Friendly service, and popular with the locals. Always busy after work. I've been several times with co-workers and no one has ever been disappointed. Good selection of burgers, sandwiches and salads. The fish and chips are terrific too. Offers both indoor and outdoor seating.

Fun Atmosphere With Great Bartenders

My husband and I were vacationing in Seattle and we stopped in to watch the Final 4. Austin and Aaron were very friendly and provided great service. The warm welcome was much appreciated and made us feel like regulars. The beer selection was very good and the food was great.

Sports pub with neighborhood vibe

By loveDCA |

It’s not along a beaten path and well loved by locals in the lower Queen Anne / Uptown area for catching the latest game (lots of tvs), good food and good brews.

Good food, good service- we all left full and happy

Great food, Mac and Cheese burger was delicious. Salads were fresh and crisp. Some of the best tots we have had. Outside and inside dining. Great service, quick and friendly.

Perfect neighborhood pub

Hit Buckley's right after the Seattle Seahawks game ended. They had been extremely busy and the staff looked wiped out. Regardless of the madness of lots and lots of Seahawk fans we had great Burgers and were greatly impressed with the kindness of the staff and locals. It's a warm friendly neighborhood pub. We will gladly return.

Had a really good lunch at Buckley's I had the prime rib dip and my wife had the ruben, both with fries and a pear cider. We enjoyed the sandwiches and fries. Servers were friendly and attentive. Wi definitely come back again. Lots of TVs for those who want to watch a game.

Just Ok

Stopped in this place because it was recommended by a local and close to my hotel. I ordered soup and a couple of drinks. The food, service and atmosphere were just OK...nothing special.

Great service and burgers.

Friendly and efficient service, really good food (especially the burgers), an excellent range of beers and good value too!

Nice neighborhood pub with decent food

By bradynut |

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised to find such good food at a bar. We stopped in for a mid-afternoon beer and ended up staying to eat. TVs are plentiful if you dine with a sports nut, like I do - but the overall atmosphere is more sophisticated and classy than a typical sports bar. Thumbs up!

This place was just minutes walking from our hotel. We passed other places to eat and I am glad we did. The menu had a good selection and the food was great. Fish and Chips was the best I have had in a long time and the portions were very generous. Service was very good as well. well worth the stop.

Good food, quick service

By OhioTexican |

The service was quick and efficient. The burger I had was well prepared and delicious. They have a great selection of Bourbon. Lots of Tv’s for sports. Fun atmosphere.

Great neighborhood Pub!

By Jennifer B |

Had dinner at Buckleys the evening we arrived in Seattle since it was the only close restaurant to our hotel. While the Pub is not pretentious, the food was very good and the service was too. Tried the local beers and they were good reasonably priced. The portions were good. Hit the spot and then we walked back to our hotel.

Great place!

By Craig C |

Place was awesome. Great staff, great beers. Great atmosphere!! We there for the Jaguars vs. Seahawks game and staff was super friend towards us and so were the regulars.

Excellent lunch

By Susan C |

Great food, great beer and friendly service. Couldn't ask for more. The sesame ribs were excellent and three appetisers were more than enough to satisfy our little European appetites. Great place to stop after the space needle.

Good hamburguer

If you are on homewood hotel, this is a good place to go for a meal. I tried some of their hamburgers and had good meals

Fun Pub

By penelopeonetwo |

We recently stayed at the Homewood Suites on Western in Seattle. Buckley's was walking distance from the hotel. We enjoyed their varied menu and great choice of beers.

First day in Seattle

By Marie A |

This was a great pub around the corner from out hotel it had great pub food. The fries were crispy and the burgers were fresh. Nice glass of beer good time.

Great Food and Great Service

By MrsBaum |

We found this on TripAdvisor and went due to the "best burger in Seattle" review and we weren't disappointed. We got there for happy hour so got burgers for $7 each and had the onion rings and buffalo wings between us to start. Food was amazing. Service was great, our waiter helped us choose a beer and even brought me a sample before I chose to make sure I would like it. We would have gone back a second night but were to tired from our day sightseeing. And the burger was one of the nicest I've ever had.

Great spot

By ccinchico |

Was from out of state on a football Sunday and had been recommended Buckley's by a friend as a place to catch our games. Not much on the outside but absolutely perfect for sports, libations and game food inside! Our hostess was quick to greet us and assured us that we would get a table soon! She was correct and within minutes we were sitting at a table top directly in front of our game! There are numerous flat screens throughout the bar so you can not only catch your team but all the games as well! Perfect. I had the meat loaf sliders and though they needed a little spice they were really quite good. The menu was extensive and seemed to have something for everyone. The waitress was very attentive and liquids flowed well! Centrally located for even us tourist. A destinate hot spot!

Good food at a reasonable price

By Paula B |

We went to this restaurant with a large group and were able to make a reservation in advance. It has a sports bar vibe with multiple TVs and university sports flags hanging from the ceiling. Our server was attentive and pleasant. We ordered a Caesar salad with chicken, BBQ pork sandwich, burgers, spinach salad, pita steak, and the blackened salmon sandwich. Everyone was happy with their food. The salads were fresh and generous and the sandwiches looked good. Food comes with fries, coleslaw, or tots. Can upgrade to sweet potato fries or salad for a small price.

Good food, good service, convenient location

By Norma P |

Great service and food. We got back to our Air BnB and were looking for a quick bit to eat close by. Buckley’s on Queen Anne came up so we gave it a try. We were seated right away. There were good options between daily fare and their menu. My husband had the Burrito Grande and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the soup and salad combo with Chili and Caesar salad. Both were tasty. The food was served quickly and our waitress was very attentive. We didn’t have to wait long for anything. Highly recommend this place!

delish and large portions

By ann l |

This is a neighborhhood pub, with lots of tvs playing and team flags displayed. Menu was typical bar food with burgers, wraps, salads, sandwiches and a few dinner entrees. I ordered a small salad which we shared as an appetizer. Burgers are 7oz patties. I had a blue cheese and carmelized onion burger and my husband had a cheddar cheese burger. Both were very tasty. The side of potatoes that accompanied each burger could easily feed two. Try the sweet potato tots. Sooo good. Service was friendly and attentive.

Packer Bar!!

By Renee R |

Always fun to find a Packer Bar to enjoy the game on Sunday. The other bar in Belltown is a Viking bar...boo! Great food and atmosphere, they clear out an entire area of the bar just for Packer fans and they serve Wisconsin cheese curds! Friendly staff makes it a more enjoyable experience. Fun times!

fun

By Teresa M |

we wanted to have dinner prior to the u.k./gonzaga game saturday night, which was within walking distance of climate pledge arena...we got there hrs ahead and snagged a booth....it was packed with fans of both b ball/football....i had a blackened salmon sandwich with slaw, and my partner had a rainier with the apple salad...her brother had some beer and a bourbon, plus chicken nachos, and cheese curds...the food was delicious...the place is fun and spirited with numerous tvs.....the relaxing atmosphere was good too....the staff is excellent, she was friendly and fast, despite the place being very crowded......the man who took over for her was good too...thx

Nothing changed... still great

By DP49 |

Went on a Sunday afternoon and luckily scored a parking space on the block. Got seated in a booth right away. Started with a bowl of chili that was very good. I got their Sticky Thai Ribs that were GREAT and my wife had the Humus platter that she enjoyed. We shared an order of the Sweet Potato Tots. It was a very generous portion, too much for one, good sized for two and could feed three. We've been there before and it's definitely worth going again. A separate shout-out to Giselle. That afternoon, she as the hostess, server and user. She took care of everyone, never missed a beat and was just charming.

Good pub grub in sports bar

By ConorFi |

Visited buckleys twice in the last week Food was good, would recommend the steak pita, also the meatloaf portions are huge. Each time I visited with a group and everyone was satisfied with the quality of the food Good selection of draught and bottled beers Service is ok There are a number of different screens Showing different sports

Fish n' chips with a pint or two

By thumperparis |

Fun pub reminded me of home (UK). Great range of beers and pub style food. Mid week we waited about 15 mins for a table but it was worth it. Tons of TV's overhead showing every sport channel possible, order a pint, choose your food and sit back and watch your favorite sport. The fish n' chips came with three pieces of cod nicely fried, coldslaw and french fries, two of us ordered this and we both of us loved it! This is not a top restaurant but a fun place to eat and drink with a great atmosphere.

Quality neighborhood bar and grill

By BPub1 |

This pub was directly between our hotel (Homewood Suites Downtown) and the Seattle Center, so it was very convenient for us to stop in eat, drink, & watch sports during our vacation. The drinks were good, the food affordable, and the atmosphere welcoming. Enough said!

okay food, fun atmosphere

By Katie F |

okay food, fun atmosphere

Just lunch, shoulda stayed longer

By Euan S |

Great food and service. We were on a deadline so couldn't stay longer, but the beer sure looked tempting

Jammed Packed! Needs more servers

By Poisonivyjc |

Loved the atmosphere of this place. Was a short walk from our hotel and we went for supper. The food was hot and fresh and the beers were nice and cold but the servers (only 2 for the whole place) were run right of there feet! It’s a loud, rowdy, sports place so don’t expect to go here for a quiet dinner.

So-so at best

By Sheena M |

The service here was excellent, and the rib appetizer was alright if you’re looked by for a very light, Asian sweet chili sauce rather than a more southern flavor. Both my husband and I ordered the prime rib dip, and the meat was fatty and largely flavorless. The sweet potato fries were good, but the sandwich left a lot lacking. My sister ordered the buffalo chicken wrap, which was fine, but not excellent. Friendly staff, good drinks selection, but not a place I’ll be coming back for food anytime soon.

Early Dinner

By Joy A |

Our 1st time here while visiting the area. Burger & Ruben were excellent. Its a sports bar so yes it was loud but enjoyed the food. Worth the trip recommended by Homewood Suites.

Great Local Place to eat

By 821tamyv |

Loved this place, actually ate there twice is a two day stay in the Seattle area. Hotel was near by so it was an easy walk. Great menu choices, and very friendly staff. If you go on a Saturday it will be loud and fun for all the sports fans.

Fraud going on at Buckleys Queen Anne Beeare

By Margaret C |

This is a great place to get scammed, you pay by card it didn’t go through unfortunately we proceeded to pay in cash instead all done then Buckleys at Queen Anne proceeds with no fewer than 34 attempts on my card with an incorrect pin to get more funds from me and are still trying every day for a month now and no one is doing anything about in their accounts sept nothing but fraud going on and authorities have been informed so BEWARE WHEN PAYING BY CARD

Great find

By Hollyoosa |

We arrived 15 min before opening after walking up the hill from our hotel and the bar keep unlocked it and let us in early to get out of the rain. We were eating our delicious food even before it opened! All three of us were pleased with our meals the fries were great deep fried yum! The chicken tortilla soup was nothing like I expected but wonderful! Reminded me of a wonderful homemade chicken noodle minus the noodle. Loved it!

Great food

By kathy c |

We went here twice on our visit, the food was wonderful. Great prices and friendly servers. Lots of food to choose from too and homemade!! Definitely a must for your visit.

Great food

By tjdill |

We stopped here since it was easy access from our hotel. The food did not disappoint. This place had the best tater tots I’ve ever eaten. The salads, burgers, sandwiches, and street tacos were all amazing!!

Drinks. All OK

By TommyBoy94 |

We just stopped in for drinks here and found a decent place with nothing really exceptional.. Service was so-so and it was a bit difficult to draw the bartender away from his conversation with some regulars in the corner. Sports bar motif. Would stop by occasionally if in the neighborhood, but would not go out of my way,

Decent pub food, good service

By Michelle I |

Burger, fries, and gravy were very good, but Thai chili ribs were mediocre and accompanying rice/broccoli were overcooked. Friendly, prompt service, and lots of screens for good views of whatever game you are watching!

Just what I was looking for!

By Kristopher T |

Arrived to Seattle, and wanted a a good drink with some appitizers. We were able to sit outside, enjoy the weather and have a cocktail. Food was quick and good.

Good food and drinks

By Matt H |

We stopped hear for dinner after a long day of flying. The drinks were great and the food was great as well. The juicy Lucy was awesome.

Good food and atmosphere for ok price.

By Joe H |

We had really good steaks for only $23.00. Yes ONLY $23.00. Check out the prices of the nearby steak houses. Food was really good with great service.

it's a bar

By rikard p |

it's a big comfy bar in a good part of town. service and food are good. I chose this kind of place more than once when I was on my own and needed a Cheers kind of moment.

Great Sports Bar Atmosphere

By servok |

We stopped here for beer and eats twice in three days. The staff was excellent and knowledgeable, the beer choices plentiful and the food top notch. This is primarliy a sports bar which means it is loud and friendly.

Typical bar food

By Stacey A |

We chose this place based upon TA reviews and it was close to our hotel. We typically stay away from "bar food" type places but decided the reviews suggested that it was better than your typical bar food. This was not the case. To be fair, our dislike for the food here may be related to the fact that we don't like bar food. It is generally fried, greasy and does not typically offer anything healthy. There were very few, pitiful options that were vegetarian. I asked if they could make a veggie quesadilla and just put any veggies in the tortilla. I received a gooey cheesy mess with about 10 little black beans and even fewer onions in the entire tortilla. My daughter ordered We took some nachos back to the hotel for my son and he couldn't even eat them. He ended up eating cereal from the hotel's store. Maybe nachos don't travel well and that was the problem.

Great Pub Fare

By 65stang |

2 Blocks from West side of Seattle Center, at the base of Queen Anne, is a non descript pub. We were looking for somewhere to park and saw the umbrella's outside. We were pleasantly surprised by the menu--just a little different from most pubs. Appetizers included a cheese spread assortment & humus among some more traditional choices. Because I'm on a diet, I didn't read much of the menu, however we had excellent salads. I chose the Greek salad and my husband had the Washington Walnut & apple salad. Both were excellent. Prices were reasonable $11. per salad. We will visit again!

10% discount? Maybe not.

By NadineInPhoenix |

The fish and chips were great, but the coleslaw had too much pepper and some other spice I didn't like. $22.50 for a two piece. My daughter paid in cash and DID NOT GET THE 10% DISCOUNT. So I guess the waiter pocketed a 30% tip.

Great food and beer!

By Quilte |

We have eaten here twice in two weeks because we loved it so much! Burgers are fabulous. Onion rings crunchy goodness. Philly cheesesteak yummy! Macaroni and cheese is just perfect. Want to try everything on the menu!!

Great Food and Excellent Beer on Tap

By Dennis K |

Food was all wonderful, as was service and selection of beers on tap. We had a Ruben, TD sliders (with bacon and peanut butter), and a fresh veggie sandwich. Definitely recommend a visit.

Exceeds the Big Three

By Chris M |

1 - Great Service 2 - Great Food 3 - Great Atmosphere This was an awesome neighborhood find! Staff was very friendly, beer selection, including local brews, was excellent, and the burgers were fantastic. We’ll be back!

Nice local bar; nice people!

By Loveagoodmeal |

Bar food, good drinks and nice people! What else can you ask for? We are traveling while waiting to get on our cruise. This was within walking distance to our hotel which was perfect. Everyone there gave great advice on where to go and what to see. We had the pulled pork, sweet potato tots, ribs, and wings...all very yummy. We recommend happy hour and good conversation with locals.

Great combination Pub/Sports Bar

By tewmac60 |

Always a stop when I come to Seattle for business. Great staff (a lot of the same bartenders and waitresses have been there for a while). Nice selection of Beers on Tap. Generous size drinks. It's menu is Pub comfort food that is really good. Great selection of burgers. I'm from Boston, and I can always see a Celtics/Red Sox/Bruins game on one of the TV's. Very friendly welcoming place.

Good food and service

By Yolanda C |

Lots of TV's for sports. Good food and pleasant service. I really liked my meal as did my nephew. Just a all around good place for a nice meal.

Very good lunch

By Sandra S |

We had lunch for eight. Very pleasant atmosphere and intriguing decor. Food was good and served in a reasonable length of time.

Enjoyable & fun pub!

By clipingirl |

Visiting from out of town...every restaurant was packed for graduation celebrations. So we (at first) figured this was a last choice because they could accommodate our party of 8. Wrong! It was a GREAT choice. Delicious good, generous pours and fun & whimsical sport-themed decor made it fabulous. They have a huge wall of books that my teens really dug! Try the walnut/Apple salad. Yummy! You won't leave hungry or broke!!!

Neighborhood atmosphere

By KANR |

Friendly greeting as we walked in the door, we were given a secluded booth that was quiet. My husband ordered fish and chips, I had the BBQ pork sandwich, both choices were excellent. We each ordered a glass of house wine, it was good, but a little on the pricey side ($8 per glass), this pub focuses more on beer. This is the 2nd time we've been to Buckley's, enjoyed it a lot.

Neighborhood bar with flair and good food

By Sabine M |

Our hotel gave us a sheet with lunch/dinner options in the neighborhood and we chose Buckley's for a late lunch. Great place, and our waitress, Emily, took excellent care of us. We had a burger and the blackened salmon sandwich, both were great.

not bad, but nothing special

By KLsWanderlust |

The staff was working hard to keep up with the crowd, they looked tired. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either, so if it's busy, it's not worth the wait, walk down the street to a different business, your luck may be better.

Great neighborhood restaurant

By thealinda |

We walked here from the hotel and the food was very good. The staff was friendly. It was a pleasant meal in a sports bar atmosphere.

Excellent place to watch a game and eat

By Amos C |

We were in town to see some baseball games and visit friends. There was a NBA playoff game on the night we went to Buckley’s. This was a good sports bar. It was spacious, clean and has a lot of TVs. There are a couple of tables the TV was on an odd angle but not too bad. The screen size was good enough to view the game. Of course, bigger screens would have been better. Our waitress greeted us quickly and took our order. She was helpful during the whole time we were there. We ordered three appetizers to munch on while watching. We had French fries, nachos and buffalo wings. The wings were good, not great. The nachos were good but could have had more cheese. The French fries were excellent. They were a decent size though could have been a little bigger. They were a perfect crunchiness. We had a local beer which was good. The prices were about average for this type of place. Overall, we enjoyed our time eating here and would recommend trying it.

Great Sports Bar/Pub

By pattipumpkin |

food was very good. My Husband had Fish and Chips which he said was very good and I had the Mac and Cheese. Decadent creamy pasta, served hot and quick. Beers on Tap was pretty limited but my choice was good.

Buckley’s is #1!

By Bob Buhrman |

As a regular Buckley’s fan and patron ~ all I can say is that they are the most welcoming establishment in all of Seattle! More than just a pub / sports bar! They are a first class establishment dedicated to quality food, beverages and service! They’ve got their game down!

Food was adequate, service not so much.

By Blaine C |

Having just gotten off a flight, our hotel said this might be a good option for an above average bite to eat. We were put in a booth that was a bit removed from the general ambiance, but it had a tv and Thursday night football was on, good so far. The fail came due to the remoteness of our seating and caused unacceptable delays in ordering, receiving our food and especially in getting drinks replenished. Not an enjoyable visit... avoid the back booth. If my rating was purely on the food it would be a good to very good rating.

Great sports bar and grill

By togojoes |

This was a really fun place to stop in - nice sidewalk patio, lots of fun going on inside. We didn't eat here, but heard the food is awesome.

Such a great night of food!

By Samantha R |

So thankful our hotel recommended us to Buckley’s. We had to walk like two blocks with a pretty steep hill up one, but oh was it worth it. We were starving and they were open late. Fish and chips.... so so good. The best we’ve had!

nice local place

By Vonnie B |

We found this place just a block from our hotel. So we decided to have dinner there rather than wander around. I had a salmon sandwich. It was great. The salmon was cooked perfectly. You would think a pub type place would not be so careful with the food but I was really pleased. They were open for breakfast the next day so there we were. When we first got there we were the only ones. We were treated like old friends. The breakfast was good, but the service was even better. I would go back again. Felt right at home.

Great little sports pub with great staff and food

By Andy J |

On a recent workcation to Seattle, I ended up in a weekly stay hotel west of the Space Needle. Buckleys was only a block and a half away from the hotel, so I ended up here serveral times over the week. The decor is definitely sports related, and (in my Southern opinion) properly decorated with PAC-12 and SEC college team flags, as well as Seahawks, Sounders, Mariners, and other pro decor. There are numerous tables, an outside deck area, and a bar area. All ages are welcome outside and in the dining area, while the bar area is 21 and up. I really liked this concept. The drinks were wonderful, and I ate dinner there twice. The whiskey salmon special was absolutely amazing, and an extremely good value given the size of the filet I was served (it had to be at least a 10oz filet pre-cook) and the sauce was delicious. Another visit found me with the clam chowder and salmon fish and chips, both of which were delicious. The servers and bartenders were extremely friendly and easy to talk to. If I'm in this area of town again on future visits I will definitely stop back in!!

Great Comfortably Place

By red1990 |

My wife and I had dinner here and it was excellent. Good service and the food was very great. Casual place and we really enjoyed it.

Kraken pre-game! Good eats and big drinks!

By Eric M |

Best bar in Queen Anne! Excellent food. Great service. Heavy pours. Perfect place for Seattle Kraken pre-game. Three blocks from Climate Pledge.

great sandwiches

By Northfield |

We met friends here for a lunch. The warm sandwiches were delicious. It wasn't noisy so we could enjoy the conversation. I would stop here agaion.

Solid sports bar.

By eahst19 |

The salmon sandwich is the best I ever had. The onion rings were amazing too. This place was the idea atmosphere to watch a sporting event. Multiple TV's.

Delicious!

By metalheavylady |

Went here for dinner and got the blackened chicken tacos and my husband got the Thai ribs. We both ate every last bite of our meals! The ribs were featured on the Food Network before, which he didn't know until he ordered; it was a deserved feature! This place was only a few blocks from our hotel too, which was a bonus.

Good bar/grill food close to our hotel

By Mikeriesadventures |

Good selection of food - mostly typical bar/grill fare like sandwiches, onion rings, etc. Good selection of different beers. TVs all around with various sports games playing. Friendly waitstaff. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. We ate here twice during our stay.

good food, good beer, good service

By Cathy A |

We stumbled on Buckley's while searching for food and drink near the Space Needle area. Great find! Our server was attentive and helpful, the food was prompt and good-my hamburger was excellent! And local beer cold and delicious. And if you're into sports, this is your place-at least a dozen TV's adorn the walls/ceiling.

Aeverage is a good description.

By Rich P |

I watched an NBA game here. Bar food was good people were friendly but nothing memorable. Good TVs to watch games.

Lunch & brews

By Karen C |

A good place for food and brews. I believe they also have a full bar. The food we got was good and service was ok.

Best onion rings in the world!

By bbunch04 |

I've enjoyed my fair share of onion rings and if I die tomorrow I know I will have eaten THE BEST ONION RINGS EVER! Two days in a row we inhaled these golden delicious deep fried rings of heaven. We questioned each other in between bites...what makes these rings so darn good?? The beer batter?? The dipping sauce??? Both!! Eat them often and be happy...our new motto!

Nice Little Sports Bar

By revrpb619 |

This is a friendly little pub-like sports bar in the Queen Anne section of Seattle, one short block from the Hilton HomeSuites Inn. Nice beer selection and very good food that is well prepared...not your typical throw it on the grill/slap it on a plate and serve it type of place at all.
