Our Favorite hangout in Seattle!

By Kelly S |

We loved Buckley's! We went to Seattle over Labor Day weekend to see the city and watch some college football (LSU vs U of W Huskies). We tried a ton of restaurants and local hangouts and liked all of them. However, the highlight of our trip was the 2 times we enjoyed Buckley's in Belltown. This place has a cool atmosphere, great service, really good food, and a great selection of drinks. To top everything off it is located in Belltown which is close enough to walk from most downtown hotels. If you want to enjoy a local Seattle hangout in a really cool area this is your choice. We can't wait to return to Seattle and our first stop will be Buckley's in Belltown. Here are some food recommendations there: Triple cheese spread with warm pita Calamari (on happy hour and late night specials) Sliders (on happy hour and late night specials) Tater tots with parmesan (on happy hour and late night specials) Blue Cheese Burger - 2 thumbs up! Wings - Really good!! Breakfast - A group of 20 of us ate breakfast here and everyone loved it, all dishes were good! Drinks- Beers always came out ice cold Pyramid hefe on draft as well as many other beers my friends enjoyed but I drank Pyramid the whole time. Great Happy Hour Specials AND lastly COOL, FUN, and CHILL environment. The vibe of this place is an asset in its own right. Thanks Buckley's we'll be back soon.

Nice Joint

By scaler2u |

Got into Seattle late on a Saturday evening/night to take a cruise the next day, so needed a place to grab a bite near the hotel. Pretty cool spot, great music, nice vibe. Oh, if it’s close to 10pm the menu gets cheaper so a few minutes can get you a half price ticket.

Big portions, good drinks and chilled atmosphere.

By Kelzabelle |

Sports bar with a very chilled atmosphere. We went in to order food and drinks and stayed far longer than we thought we would. I had a burger (that was massive) and my partner had chicken that took up most the plate. Our drinks were good as well. I had local ciders which were nice (drink ciders a lot so i had high praise for them). The night we had gone there was a pub quiz which we unofficially entered. Overall was a great place for relaxed food and drinks.

Awesome Bar

By Leslie Davenport |

Came here on a recent trip to Seattle since it was in walking distance from our hotel room! Loved the beer selection and the food was really good! Great atmosphere as well and the staff very friendly and personable.

Bar with food

By semimu |

As bar this place rocks. Lots of drinks and lots of TV's. Food is ok; but is bar food. I have only been there for dinner.

Corner Pub

By Herk_Driver |

Two dozen beers on tap, nice local feel. Great service and very friendly. Plenty of games. Breakfast all day and tater tots!

Buckley’s Belltown Delivers (Again)

By Randall P |

I came into Buckleys on a Monday night after a long day at work and I was not disappointed, per usual. Best American comfort food in Belltown. I sat at a table in the bar, and the bartender happily took my order and the goods were delivered. The Greek salad was spot on except for a touch too much vinegar for me, tonight. The chicken marsala was nice, with fresh broccoli and a huge scoop of some spicy mashed potatoes that were yummy. It seems the either electric, or laid back, atmosphere depends on if there are popular sports on the TV at the time. Tonight was a laid back Monday and it was a great dine-in night.

Great Brunch

By Papadoc529 |

There were numerous menu choices. The service was fast and the food was served immediately after it was prepared. This is a convenient location.

Amazing sports bar

By DaniJacks |

I was visiting Seattle and staying at the hostel nextdoor. It turns out that Buckley's is my pal's local spot so I spent a lot of time hanging out there. It is super friendly and the PERFECT place to go if you want to get loud while watching the game. The staff and patrons were all super fun and welcoming. I loved it! 😊

Great

By Patti J |

What a great find! Accidentally stumbled across this gem of a place. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. They were very busy as this seems to be the place to be on a football game night. We were lucky to find a table and Rachel made sure to serve our food and drinks very quickly. She also answered all our questions and helped with our selections. If I lived in the area this would definitely be my go to place. Lots of fun great food and excellent service!

Good bar with good food.

By thepolishfoodie |

We came here after a night of bar hopping for some drinks and munchies. Let me tell you the food hit the spot! We ordered fries, sweet potato tots, and sliders. Everything was delicious and the portions are huge! I’ll be back. The downside is the waitress wouldn’t take our food order for some reason. So we asked someone else.

Fun place

By Robert N |

We stopped for a few beers while we waited for our nephew. Great selection of draft beers in a sports bar. Was mid-afternoon so we did not eat but worth a visit.

Perfect Spot For Monday Night Football

By Surigao_Bob |

A tasty Happy Hour menu (offered all day) proved to hit the spot while watching MNF. Very unique dishes, meatloaf sliders were delish!

Good neighborhood bar

By shortdirectflights |

This place was close to where we were staying so we dropped by a few times, just for drinks, no food. Friendly and attentive bartenders, nice customers that you can talk to easily. Good selection of beer on tap. We also ordered mai tais, which could be kind of dicey at a sports type bar, but they did it well. They also have interactive trivia (forget what it's called officially) so you can play along if you're into that. There was a football game on the one time we were there, and it can get loud but that's what you would expect at a bar like this. Would definitely recommend.

Atmosphere

By journeywithbuster |

Firstly go when a game is on. Secondly, make it a Seahawks match. We arrived an hour before the match started and it sounded like we were at the satdium. We luckily got a table as a couple were leaving (no idea why) otherwise it may have been an issue. Rose was our server who was lovely. Beers could have been colder and the food wasnt incredible but you soon forget that when the match starts. The Seahawks ended up losing but we still had a great time. Order local beers though as they seem to be half the price.

Generic Sports bar, Greasy Food

By Todd S |

Standard generic sports bar with greasy food. There are a few of these around the city. For a Seattle bar, their beer selection needs improvement. Lava Lounge and Rob Roy is across the street, much better.

Sports Bar

By Gary W |

Went to bar to get out of the rain. It is a full on sports bar with lots of televisions showing various games. Plenty of seating. Relaxed atmosphere. Service friendly and efficient. Good prices. Well worth a visit.

Good Sports Bar - Good Specials

By DTH256 |

TH night - good happy hour appetizer and drink specials. Lot's of televisions with a good variety of games. Appetizers were good and portion size is large enough to share.

THE Neighborhood Sports Pub

By TraveLoveRN |

So, Buckley's is not the only sports bar in Belltown. And Buckley's does not have the best food in Belltown. But on a game day - Buckley's is the only place I want to be (other than at the game itself!). If You come to Seattle and want to watch a game - Buckley's. Sit at the bar and chat with the regulars, while being served tasty drinks. Or bring Your family and sit in the dining area. Unless You are not rooting for the same team I am - then feel free to go to the other place!!! :)

A great sport bar with great food

By tuitai |

Surprisingly this sport bar has amazing food, even you don't like watching sport, eating here is fantastic. The Thai ribs and coconut prawn are fantastic and the beer selection is great. Service is very good and friendly. The atmosphere here is awesome, great happy energy. If you are in downtown Seattle, this is a must go place.

Thursday night football

By Erik A |

Was looking for a bar to watch Thursday football great server and the wings were decent I would recommend to anyone

Good selection of local beers and pub food

By qazphilby |

Been meaning to check out this place for a year now and just recently did, and although this wont replace our go-to for lunch it will definitely will get several more visits. The service was very friendly and it would have been very easy to kick back and watch one of the many screens scattered around. The food was standard pub fare, not bad but nothing exceptional.

Surprising Ribs

By James I |

I came here because I needed something to eat quick and it was late, not wanting a full dinner. There was a handful of people at the bar but nobody at all there to eat, so we ended up being the only table. The service was still friendly, even though they had to come all the way over to just us, and even though we were the only people ordering food. A decent amount of beers on hand was nice, but the ribs stole the show. I was expecting mediocre to poor bar food here and I was horribly wrong, at least about the ribs. Anyone going here has to order the Thai Sesame Ribs. They were cooked well and incredibly tasty, maybe some of the tastiest ribs I've ever eaten. I had to have more and ordered another serving of them for myself. These ribs are not to be missed.

Great vibe for fame day with very good food and service

By Stephanie G |

I was skeptical of the service and food given that the place was absolutely mobbed with game day viewers. I was pleasantly surprised to find the quesadilla delicious and plentiful. Our server Kacie despite being super busy was attentive and extremely pleasant. Thanks for a great day!

unfortunate bar manager

By Lee G |

Buckleys has been one of our favorite places for years. Great food and fun servers. Last Thursday, all that changed. The burger we ordered a week before was shrunk down and great bun was replaced with a tough, dry one. The bar manager on duty at 11pm that night was extremely rude....with comments like "it's my bar and I can run it the way I want" after swearing at customers and ignoring others. She cut off two friends who were not even close to being drunk and served the guy next to them who could barely walk. Terrible customer service and just doesn't get the fact that we the customer is who pays for her to be there. As long as she is emplyed there, we will not go back.

Great dinner for family

By ScanFam5 |

A great spot in bell town area of Seattle. Went as family w/kids (14, 12, 8) steaks were delicious, as well as BBQ chicken salad, chicken Caesar salad, blackened chicken tacos. Service was great. Would definitely recommend. Price very reasonable.

Good Neighborhood Bar

By Sakart V |

This was a great place to watch a Seahawks game while visiting town. The food is average (not bad, not exceptional) and the service was a little slow due to the game, but the overall atmosphere was a lot of fun.

Fun sports bar, good food and drink and... Service

By Merril Y |

A must spot to take in your sports team of choice buoyed by a classic sports bar ambiance, comfort food menu, complete beverage offering and very good service.

Great casual dining

By Keryn Williams |

The five stars is for the best ribs ever Other food was also yum but I won’t forget the ribs Vibe was comfy Waiter was super friendly and efficient and was genuinely interested in where we were from

Good Belltown Pub

By smalltowngalReno |

Wasn't expecting a lot from this busy Belltown Pub, which seems to be very popular with the sports bar crowd, but our dinner was really good! A bit noisy for dinner conversation, but the service was great and the food served was hot and tasty. I opted for the famous "juicy lucy" and was not disappointed.

Fun with adequate food

By Brad P |

We dropped in for dinner and found it was trivia night. Great fun and a lovely vibe of noise and music. We could still talk despite all the noise. Food was OK. Nothing flash nor creative but relatively large, filling meals.

Best football spot!

By Stephanie L |

We're Eagles fans, and we were looking for a bar in Seattle to watch the playoff games. I was worried we wouldn't be able to find the Eagles crew when we walked in. Wrong! The whole bar was Eagles fans. Cheap beer, good food, easy to make friends with the crowd there. Get there well before your game starts if you want a table. This place isn't great about standing room at the bar, in my opinion, so a table is your best bet for enjoying the game out of the way of folks trying to get drinks, etc. I would definitely go back!

Typical Sports Bar

By Jerod B |

Good for sports bar environment, but OK food and average drinks. Questionable on the cleanliness of the place, but if you want to go get loud for a sporting event, not a bad option.

Monday night football

By SDnative5 |

We were here from out of town & needed a place to watch Mon PM football. Our hotel recommended this place and for a good reason! Happy hour ALL Monday night! The ribs were to die for--- Food Network famous and soo good! The garlic tots were amazing as well! And our server John was everything you could ask for in a server-- helpful, honest & attentive. Also, there are 23 TVs!!

Great bar, great bar food

By ZaniCarter |

We enjoyed an impromptu dinner at Buckley’s which was a great venue with good food and a great atmosphere. Service was quick and attentive, and the Buffalo Wings, Chicken Tacos and Southern Fried Chicken Dinner were excellent. All up with a couple of drinks and tip it was $80 for two people. A pretty good night out.

Nice Sports Bar

By Sarah H |

Went to watch our local football team while on vacation and were fortunately seated in the "zone" playing our game! Drinks came fast and server was responsive to our orders, however you could tell he wasn't in the best mood. Got the small order of cheese curds and sweet potatoes fries. Food was good for bar food and sandwiches and salads around us looked decent as well. Only thing I would change was more friendly customer service.

MULTI SPORTS BAR TO ENJOY YOUR FAVORITE GAMES

By Christophe C |

Excellent sports bar with friendly atmosphere. They arranged us a special booth with two screens to watch BARCA-REAL clásico ⚽️ when the rest of the bar was enjoying American Football🏈. Solid breakfast 🍳. I recommend the place.

Good Friendly Pub , worth a visit

By DiscoDon |

Went several times when visiting Seattle, relaxed atmosphere reasonable pricing and if you come across it go visit.

Really Good Sports Bar

By Robert S |

Buckley's is a classic sports bar. There are screens all over the place and, a school flags for just about every university flying all around. We were there to watch our Kansas Jayhawks play in March Madness and had a great time. The food here is secondary, but they put out some good fare. The best part is the atmosphere. The place is buzzing as folks are watching 3 of 4 games at once. Lots of fun!

Good Sports Bar (for Seattle)

By Dru K |

Seattle doesn't have very many good sports bars, but Buckley's is probably one of the best in Seattle. The food is good and they have a lot of TV's. The service is hit or miss. I have been there at times that the service has been great and other times I have had to get up and ask for everything I needed to order (and they were not busy). I will keep coming back to Buckley's when I want to go out for a game.

Fantastic NFL Viewing (and Eagles bar)

By SpreheG |

We visited from out of town and were drawn here to watch NFL on Sunday based on their hours (9am - an hour before kickoff) and their brunch menu. Arrived at 915 and the place was already filling up with Philadelphia Eagles fans! They offer bottomless coffee, have fantastic brunch (I recommend the eggs Benedict with Avocado), and at least 12 screens to watch football, so every game was on. Wait staff was polite and friendly. Decent local beer selection on tap and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

2 for 1 Breakfast on Sunday

By OlyGirl65 |

HUGE breakfast and 2 for 1. Great quality and even let our kiddo come in with us.

Good Neighborhood Pub

By TravelingGirlMD2014 |

This pub hit the spot. We were looking for some typical bar food and Buckley's delivered. Traditional domestic drafts (hard to find in Seattle) with great burgers. It hit the spot. It seemed very friendly and was dog friendly. If you are staying in the Belltown area and need comfort bar food, this is a great option.

Rude servers and they have budlight on tap

By DetectiveMuffin |

I went to this bar because they have Boddingtons on their windows. When I got there, they said they have cans. I was hoping to get some on tap. The server was terrible. She seemed to be annoyed when couple of us in the party didn't order anything. She started moving chairs around loudly. Very unprofessional and annoying. Definitely would not go here again.

Nice location, food & service were barely average

By William M |

The restaurant is conveniently located in Belltown, but the inside and outside décor are very dated and show more than the usual wear and tear. The service was barely average - we were just about to go in and see if anyone was waiting on the patio outside when the waitress showed up. She wasn't overly friendly or helpful. The food was okay - just average, not great not poor. The cost was about average or slightly below, but I did not feel we got good value. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area that I would go to first...

Great service ... hit and miss with the food

By OregonRainman |

While looking for a place with a medium rare hamburger, my wife and I came upon Buckley's by accident on a Friday afternoon and were quite impressed with the service and the food. Even though the place was crowded we got very quick service with both our drinks and food orders. She had a cosmopolitan and I indulged on some 9LB Porters then, as an appetizer, we ordered the coconut prawns, which were excellent. We followed that with a classic cheeseburger for her and I had their baked mac and cheese. Outstanding on both fronts. The hamburger was juicy and pink in the middle while the mac-n-cheese was huge and very tasty and could have easily fed 2 or 3 people. We finished the evening with a coffee and shared their brownie with ice cream, which was also delicious. Our waiter, the "the guy with the beard and the baseball cap" also seemed to double as a bartender. However, he was very attentive and obviously has been doing this for a while. He always seemed to know when we needed a new round of drinks or a different course, all this without hovering our table. Great, outstanding service! The next evening (Saturday), we went back and while we sat at the same time, we got a new server. She was OK, but we food was so-so. My wife's "medium rare" cheeseburger came cooked to death, so we sent it back. A few minutes later, while the onion rings we almost completely cold on her plate, she got a new burger. This one too was terrible. It seems that the Saturday cook grills the hamburgers from frozen and inedible (if you like the meat medium rare). She ended up eating one of the three huge pieces of fish that come with fish and chips platter (another excellent choice). To her credit, the server comped my wife's meal without us asking her to do so. In summary, the food gets a 3 while the service is superb at 5!

A Good Start

By Dan de Padua |

It's a dark sports bar with above average fish and chips, excellent nachos, and forgettable buffalo wings. The IPAs on rotation were all interesting. The hero of the evening, however, was the single waitress who served the entire establishment and even good-naturedly gave us tips on where to continue our pub crawl.

Good spot to watch a game

By pjgrad |

Big, casual bar with lots of screens for watching sports. The service is pretty prompt. There is lots of seating if you have a somewhat large group. There is just something about this place that defies categorizing. It just doesn't make much of an impression.

Visit with locals

By Andy W |

Great pub food, great staff, a warm and welcoming food, a full bar....what else do you need? We shun tourist eateries whenever possible. We are happy we found this place.

Best ribs I have ever had!

By A from Surrey |

Great selection of beer. The televise all sporting events. If you're in Belltown you have to go to Buckleys and have their ribs. They are very tasty.

This is the place to watch sports!

By GetBent58 |

If you are looking for a bar with many TV's, great selection of NW craft beers, and excellent bar food, then head to Buckley's! Good staff, great seating, and discounted Happy Hour menu make this one of my regular stops.

Fun at Super Bowl

By Scrubs67 |

My friends and I spent approximately 10 hrs at Buckleys on Super Bowl Sunday. The food was great from the breakfast to the lunch to the snacks during the big game. The staff was more then friendly. They appeared to be real and genuine in their hospitality. We really appreciated the owner acknowledging us also. Fun atmosphere with grab food!!!

Nice atmopsphere to watch a game, but drink - don't eat!

By LAEricson |

The Pros - Very friendly staff and customers. Great views of multiple sports events, reasonably priced happy hour and nice atmosphere. The Cons - The food is some of the worst I've every had in Seattle. Ribs were overdone, dry and tasteless, hamburger was small and very boring and the tater tots are better at Taco Time. The sports venue and HH drink prices are a 5, the food a -1. Hence the 3 rating

America at its best

By Kelly F |

We stumbled upping Buckleys after trying to eat somewhere else and were very happen with the outcome. Our server was excellent, we were seated right away and the atmosphere was great! Very loud because it was NFL kickoff but it made it fun. Their menu had lots of options and the four of us were very happy with our selections. If you order the Philly, I hope you're hungry because it was huge! Overall great experience, just a heads up, the shots are very expensive!

Quick dinner

By Erica K |

Had to come here to pick up our condo keys. After going to our condo- my husband and I decided it smelled good enough we wanted to try the food! Had the chicken street tacos and husband had fish in chips. Both were great! Super friendly service!

Football

By Mamafied |

Went to watch a football game... complete jerks and there were 13 of us! They missed out on some good money lol.

Sports bar with poor food

By Mark S |

This is a sports bar. It is loud, sometimes VERY loud. The food is NOT the attraction. The sweet potato fries were very good, but there are much better places to eat in Belltown.

A Solid 3

By WilsyPV |

Stopped in for happy hour - many of the beers on tap according to the menu weren't available so ordering was confusing at best. Food was good and reasonably priced. Noise level was high but given that this is a neighborhood sports bar, not that unreasonable. We were there on a Tuesday night which also happened to be Trivia night and the teams were pouring in as we decide to vacate the premises. An OK spot, but not one that I would make an effort to return to.

One flag missing

By surferboy |

Called in for dinner on a quiet night, as we couldn't get in previously as it is obviously VERY popular when they have an important game playing on the numerous screens around the pub. Very happy we did. Service was very good and friendly. Food was very good & plentiful. So we went back again. Bright & colourful with all the club flags decorating the ceiling. Just need to add an Aussie one now.

Good food, reasonable prices

By vaca32 |

Stopped into Buckley's with 3 kids and 3 adults . We rented a Airb&b around the corner so we walked . Were seated right away and waited on quickly. Kids loved the sliders and chicken fingers. Adults had burgers and the hanger steak dinner. Steak was cooked perfectly. Tried the mozzarella sticks and potato puffs. Service was very good and waiter checked in often. Enjoyed the Happy Hour drink prices. Prices in general were very reasonable. The tv sets at the tables entertained the kids while we waited.

Great Happy Hour

By Litenin |

We came late as Buckley's has a key lock for Airbnb renters. We had a travel issue that brought us here and fortunately and thankfully we found the staff at Buckley's very kind, considerate and helpful. We discovered that their late evening happy hour is a great value with lots of menu options. The food was just great! For us as seniors, it was a bit loud but the quality of food, selection of beverage and kind staff more than compensated.

Buxom bartender, great beer, excellent bar

By David S |

This place is great, cheap great selection of draft beers, served by über pro servers and bartenders. Snacked on good reg pub fare, and people watched whilst having fun with my group at our high top. Good looking people come and drink here, you should to, it's very good.

Order the Maplewood Ham Pretzel!

By caryon1 |

Great neighborhood bar with friendly service. My waiter overheard me contemplating the Maplewood Ham Pretzel and gave it a big thumbs up. I bought it along with a pale ale and enjoyed a great lunch in an inviting atmosphere. This is a fun comfortable place with a friendly crowd, just a bit north downtown. Worth the walk!

No typical Irish food

By Arty_mom |

The menu is not Irish pub food! Tacos, good salads and sandwiches, great tator tots too. They do have fish n chips. This is a great place to watch a U of M game too.

Eagles game

By Sophie W |

If you are from philly and in Seattle on game day you need to be here. This was my best night on my trip to Seattle. The fans were fun, electric, and friendly.

Nice find in crowded Belltown

By BC |

We stumbled upon Buckley's a bit by accident as we were walking around Belltown and were glad to find it. We were looking for Mexican food (non existent on the cruise ship we just got off) and it happened to be "Taco Tuesday" at Buckleys - 2 tacos for $6. We all chose grilled fish tacos which were delicious, and perfectly filling for lunch. The menu had a lot of variety, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner if you're staying in the downtown area.

Buckleys is Bar Food and Sports

By Kevin J |

Very typical but well made bar food and multiple beer choices. Service depends on who you get .. Jordan is among the best anywhere.

Service was lacking

By Wismickchick |

Buckley's was very close to our hotel and was recommended to stop at for lunch on our check-in day because we were so hungry! When we walked in there were no seats at the bar, but plenty of high top tables were available around the bar. There was no waitress, but the bartender came over to our table and took our order for a couple of beers and dropped off menus after we said we wanted to order lunch saying that she would be back in a few minutes to take our order. She then went back behind the bar, which was obviously full of her friends and proceeded to talk with them for the next 20 minutes. After our beers were empty for a good 5 minutes and we were more than ready to order and another couple had come in to sit down and was waiting for her to even greet them, I was ready to approach the bar for service when a guy came out from the back (not sure if he was another bartender or a manager), but he noticed right away that we were sitting with empty drinks and the other table was waiting for service. While the bartender talked, the other guy took the other couple's drink order, took our drink and food order, went behind the bar and got the drinks, and delivered them to both tables. She never once noticed that he had taken over or asked if he needed help. He then went back to what I believe is the kitchen. Somebody else from the kitchen delivered our food. The food was normal bar food and was pretty good, but the feeling of being completely ignored was hard to get past. We were never offered another refill on drinks and the man from earlier had to come back out to get both tables their checks. The bartender seemed to only be there to hang out with friends instead of work.

Delicious fare

By LauraMOAustin_TX |

Great burgers & Caesar salad. Plenty of sports to watch on the multiple screens.

Average Belltown Bar

By Van W |

Strictly the usual pub fare with TV's showing current sports, which is fine for me, but not what my wife enjoys.

Great Pub!

By Nakstrani |

Another family friendly joint in Belltown. Plenty of place so we didn't have to wait to be seated. I had Alameda Mule while my partner tried couple of IPAs (Dang! Citra & Backwater). The food was very good - we had the blackened Salmon sandwich with chips, street style Alaskan Cod tacos (surprisingly good) & kids pasta. The portions are huge & 2 adults can comfortably share an entree. The service was great. We were seated at a booth that had TV in it which was cool in case you wanted to follow particular sport. Seemed like a perfect spot if you had a big group of friends or family from out of town. Do visit.

Fun Place to Watch Games, Not Your Average Bar Food

By ljcraddock |

My husband & I arrived in Seattle on Sept 10 and were looking for a place to watch the Battle at Bristol. We were told about Buckley's by several locals and since it was within walking distance of our hotel, we decided to try it . How bad could it be? Turns out is was really good! We had a fabulous server, who also doubles as a bartender - Tavio. The service definitely rates a 5! Tavio and the serving team made sure we got our drinks and food quickly. They have an extensive list of Mule drinks, all of which sounded interesting! I chose the Pear Mule, which was served in an authentic copper mule mug and was delicious! After spying them on a nearby table, we decided on the Nachos with ground beef and a side of avocado. We also ordered the House Made Hummus & Pita which came with Kalamata olives, cucumber, roasted red pepper and feta cheese. My husband had never had hummus and really like it. Both dishes were generous portion & delicious - much tastier than your average bar food. Everything was much better than we had expected. While waiting on our food, we looked up at the team banner over our head and it was the Virginia Cavaliers, our favorite team! Too funny! The only reason I am not giving Buckley's a 5 is because of the bathrooms - really unappealing! I realize that the usual crowd for Buckley's is probably 25 - 30-year-olds and they probably don't care about the bathrooms, but the ladies room was like a really bad gas station! Yuck! However, the fabulous service and fun atmosphere was enough to get us back the following afternoon & the best thing was, Tavio remembered us! (I just made sure I had gone to the bathroom prior to going!)

Nice sports bar in the heart of Seahawks country!

By rzsandoval |

Went here to watch the 49er Seahawks game (Go Hawks). It was an all around great sports bar. The wait staff was very attentive (our pitchers were always full). The food was great too. Highly recommend the fries and fish and chips. They also have a great brunch menu. Lots of Seahawks fans, but also some fans from other team (Bengals, Falcons, Jets, Eagles). Kakaw!

Decent

By traveling_tegan |

Clean, sever was super nice. The atmosphere is good, more like a sports bar really. But food was decent, not amazing. Just normal food. I would never need to go back.

Good place to watch game, so-so server

By Jeff P |

Great place to watch a game. We enjoyed the food. Wait staff were not very attentive. Several times wondered if we had a server. Either new, or just did not care about us

Local bar with bar food

By MJ G |

Ordered the meatloaf sliders, sounded good. They were eh. Apparently tho during football season, you can't get a seat there. Part of the way through our meal, our waiter told us that his replacement was there and we needed to settle out. Really??? Mid meal??? There are other bars/restaurants in that area that should be visited before Buckley's.

ugh...

By Tawni2006 |

I went to this bar on early Thursday afternoon, they place wasn't busy and yet it took me about 5 minutes to get acknowledge even though I was at the bar. Drinks are good and food was delicious but the service it slow.

Average food at above average bar food prices

By Kelly E |

We were hungry and this was one of the only restaurants with no wait in the general vicinity of our hotel. The place was virtually empty when we walked in. The host told us we could only sit in a certain area due to staff cutbacks on Sundays. It took a long time for them to take our food order, drink order was almost immediate, but the server was also the bar tender, who was friendly and helpful but too busy to do both jobs. We ordered meatloaf sliders, the pretzels, and jalapeño cheese sticks as starters. When they finally came out they were hit and fresh. The meatloaf sliders were very good. The jalapeño cheese sticks were ok, but tasted like hot Cheetos. The pretzels were not home made, so your basic pretzels. For meals we ordered wings, BBQ chicken salad and street tacos. The street tacos were fine, but disappointed that we could only order one meat for the order. The salad was good but very overpriced. The last surprise was the 10% wage fee added to the Check that was NOT a part of the gratuity. Seattle needs to figure this out, and incorporate it into the cost of doing business.

Buckley's the best bar in belltown!

By Simone L |

Buckley's was literally next door to our hostel (City Hostel Seattle). The staff not only provided great service they are also good looking ;) The hot wings are delicious! And everything sports related was plastered on the televisions. Our next visit we will bring down our local nhl hockey teams flag to adorn the walls and ceilings of Buckley's. Hit up Buckley's and have a beer!!

Good sports bar

By rachelfm16 |

My husband is a huge Vikings fan, so of course our first stop in Seattle had to be a sports bar to watch the game. Buckley's was exactly what we were looking for. The atmosphere was great - there were a lot of people there. Unfortunately, that meant that service wasn't the greatest (we had to wait to be served; the waitress forgot a few details of my order; and we had to go up to the bar to request water refills and silverware). That said, the waitress did let me swap out the burger for a chicken patty, which I appreciated. I LOVE that a bunch of menu items include avocado. The sweet potato fries were delicious and only $0.50 extra. There was an outlet right next to the table, so I was happy to charge my phone after traveling all day. I thought I saw a free wifi guest account but couldn't get it to work. The food is good, but perhaps a tad more expensive than usual sports bar fare. Overall, we had a great time and would recommend this place to others.

Great Breakfast

Stumbled upon this restaurant as we headed to the Space Needle! College football everywhere and the food was fantastic. Definitely a great place to start your day.

Best sports bar in Belltown

No matter what team you cheer for, Buckley's proudly displays its banner. Great food, great beer, good times!

terrible and unfriendly BS

By ABZ |

We tried to get in at 11 am to see the Seattle Kraken hockey game... We entered and not one hello or a welcome. We asked if we can get one of the many TVs to show the hockey game. A tall, very unfriendly guys says 'NO, we are only showing football"... Mr. I can't do, just said no!!!! As a business owner why would you hire someone like that and turn customers away??? We ended up leaving and went to Art Marble 21! Buckley's lost about $80.00 of revenue over a 2 hour period for one customer!!! Place was dirty and dungy too.

Good food and service

By Camperth |

We went here as we were staying next door and looked like a good place to eat. When we arrived approx just under half the tables were taken but it got progressively busier whilst we ate there. We experienced very friendly and quick service during the time there and food was brought out pretty quickly! We both had the pub steak and was cooked perfectly! Great meals and would definitely eat here again.

Sports Bar 10 minute walk from Space Needle

Breakfast menu at a Sport's Bar

By Mary I |

In Seattle for a convention and wanted to see the opening round of the NCAA BB tournament. It was 10 a.m. and the concierge at the hotel called to find a bar that served breakfast. We walked to Buckley's. Good service. Food is ok. Lots of televisions so could watch multiple games at once. It is an old bar but I like that. Ended up not buying breakfast but should have. Large portions.

Just a nice, casual bar in neighborhood with not so many of those

By Mary McGhee |

There are plenty of bars in Belltown that are packed with hipsters, and choked with attitude. Buckley's isn't one of them. It's friendly, it's casual, it's down-to-earth. They have TVs if you want to watch a game--enough that they'll probably have just about any game on one of them. The food is basic but pretty good, and they have a nice beer selection. They do pub trivia on Tuesday nights (if you think you want to take on my team--good luck!) It's just a nice place...which is enough.

Affordable Pub

By amberkruth |

Got the fish & chips and it was a large portion and delicious. It's a bar environment, so don't expect fancy or spotless, but it was well-maintained and perfectly cooked food.

Definitely a sports bar!

By Takarehi |

We went with small group for a night out on a Saturday. It was a very buy place and people were very energized about there football team. We found the food typical for this type of establishment....it was middle of the road and not something I could rave about. As for the service, generally good but due to the crowded conditions your server was really on the run. One complaint I have is our server spilled beer all over a wool dress coat and never even offered to clean it or make an adjustment in our bill.

Great neighborhood bar to watch football

By DTJB8000 |

We were vacationing in the area and since our teams were not local, we needed to find a place to watch football. This place had tons of TVs, so we were able to find our games. The service was great and they had plenty of selection for beer and spirits. The cheese curds were fantastic, and the nachos were plentiful. Fun vibe in the bar.

Service was not good at all....

By Yachtsman1304 |

I was here in June of 2013. It took FOREVER (10-15 minutes) to get waited on. They must have been preparing for some event as most of the tables were reserved (but empty when we went in and empty when we left). The language barrier between the customers and waitstaff was problematic too. We could understand them, but they could not understand us. I guess I did not realize a Michigan accent was that difficult to understand.

Fun spot

By Delta_Travelin_man |

Out of towner wanted to see flavor of Seattle area and found it. We checked out several cafes on this street and found this the best. Clean and pleasant and not too loud that you cannot hold a conversation. We were there the evening they had the special on tacos. They bring out two at a time and you can pick from several kinds such as steak (recommended), chicken and fish. Good deal and the beer is cold.

good lunch specials

By cougski |

The taco lunch specials was outstanding. Very good burgers and sandwiches. Decent service. A little pricey outside of tge lunch specials.

Loud but overall really good

By Dan C |

Went there to watch some college football. Unfortunately our large group reservation was moved to a no kids allowed section. I was pretty peeved at first but they really came through to accommodate my daughter and me. I was very very impressed. They have two locations. Can't go wrong with either one for a sports atmosphere.

Employees are trained well......

By Lori F |

We just had lunch (or what they refer to as blunch) here, and the staff was very pleasant and attentive, for sure. We had the soup (they only had chile) and Cesare Salad. The Chile was very good and the salad was fresh; however, I didn't like the Balsamic dressing. My husband said the soup was too spicy, even though the waitress stated that it wouldn't be. I don't think we would go back.

Too loud for conservation.

By Charles T |

Not my kind of place but the visiting friends wanted to go here. The bar is very loud and so conversation was difficult. Customer service was so-so. We waiting for nearly 10 minutes before one of the food servers could drag herself over to us. Given the very loud music it was hard to give our order. We each had the Cheeseburger & Fries. The fries were great. The cheeseburger was so oily that I could barely taste the cheese. The beer helped with some of the grease. Getting someone to give us the check and actually take our money was more time-consuming than seemed necessary.

Dependable Belltown Pub

By MartynG_11 |

We have made several visits to Buckleys on 2nd since moving to the area. This is a great place to catch sport with many televisions around the bar, and booth seats with decent size screens for more intimate viewing. The lunch and dinners are consistently good, great burgers, and the Southern Fried Chicken Dinner a huge quality plate of food. Many beer options including my particular favorite Stella, and a good happy hour up to 6pm with drink specials on house wine and selected beers and well drinks. Always a friendly vibe.

For HUGE appetites

By rafapime |

This place server HUGE hamburgers (that´s all we ordered anyway). They are good, not great, and the place seems to bee not so clean. Service is also good.

Would like to hang out here if I lived in Seattle

By Passenger768937 |

Nice vibe for a neighborhood restaurant and bar. Friendly and efficient service. We drank beer and wine and ate Fish sandwiches which were delicious.

Garlic Tater Tots

By YesAC4858 |

Just a sports bar, but i loved the garlic tater tots. Burger and fries did not disappoint. Great place to watch a game.

Good neighborhood bar

By wladwig |

Grabbed lunch and a beer here with a friend since it was right near where he was staying. Good food, with pretty big portions. I had a salad and my friend had a sandwich. Pretty standard pub fare on the menu - with the addition of a Juicy Lucy burger which gave props to my hometown of Minneapolis (there are a lot of similarities between the two cities). If you haven't had one, you should try it. But be careful because the cheese is burn-your-mouth hot when you bite into it. I imagine they must do good business with the local neighborhood. Cordial staff, prompt service.

Great place to watch and cheer your college team

By Quazi F |

Relaxed sports bar, interesting cocktails and beers. Staff is friendly and attentive, food is served in ample portions. Nice crowd.

I would never go back!

By JK1444 |

Had some nachos, they were not good. The synthetic cheese sauce was gold. Asked for them to be reheated and they came back cold again. I sent an e-mail to the owner saying politely that I am a small business owner and I thought he might like to know what was coming out of his kitchen. Not more than one hour later, I got a reply saying" Jesus fing Christ, kill the nachos?" Only he didnt abbreviate the f word! How is that for customer service?

Best sandwiches and burger

By MiamiTravelMom2010 |

Best Reuben sandwich I had outside of NYC. Sweet potato fries and homemade (not bagged) coleslaw. Good menu selection. We were for work lunch so couldn't drink. But definitely want to go back for drinks. Nice sport bar with great food.

"Bouncer" major butthead but a great spot otherwise

By rusty_fwg |

Lots of seating and a large bar. Great drink specials and pub food. They do a reverse happy hour, so if you're interested in late night munches and drinks, good place for it. View of the space needle was great for fireworks show from our table. They had a guy checking ID that was a pain to everyone I seen. But the bartenders and waitresses were great.

Fun Sports Bar and Food to Match

By Merril Y |

For literally any sports events from college to pros, this is the spot to hang out... with indoor, outdoor seating... large array of local beers (all great) with comfort foods from burgers, sliders, et al with tater tots... Can't beat it for that classic sports bar feel... Service keeps up with the surgest too

Excellent Brunch!!!

By KristenS_11 |

We headed this way for Brunch on a Saturday morning. FYI there is a Starbucks just around the corner if you want a foofoo latte with brunch. Website said open at 0900. They actually opened early for the Michigan State fans...which I thought was awesome! The bar was packed with blue and yellow from the get go!! Great crowd and great food. Tons of TV's you can see any game from any table. Brunch was delish. I had Green Eggs and Ham (see pic)! Hubby and friend had hash...no complaints. First time here but we'd come back.

Great atmosphere!

By redhead_roaming |

I've only ever gone on Tuesdays for trivia but this place is amazing. Everyone (staff and customers) are very friendly, food and drinks are reasonably priced and parking nearby is not usually an issue (again, on a Tuesday evening).

Great place to catch the game!

By dazzlingdaveyoyo |

I was in Seattle for work and needed a place to watch the Vikings game. I found Buckley’s in Belltown, the great beer selection and good burgers. I would go back the next time I am in Seattle.

Great sports bar

By mhroy2002 |

We were staying at a hotel close to this location so it was an easy walk for dinner. Typical sports bar atmosphere but I agree with a previous reviewer, this is the place you go to just to hang out with your friends. The TV's weren't' too loud or the crowd too boisterous when we were there. Great staff with great attitudes. I went ready for a great hamburger and that is what I got. Enjoyed a nice evening with friends. Would definitely go again.

Classic Sports Bar

By Merril Y |

Sports atmosphere big time with all requisite pub food available. Here for the Duke Basketball game, hearty egg/biscuit/sausage best... pints of Mannys plus spicy Bloody Mary... pals on hand... Engaging service... Can't beat Buckleys

Convinent bar food

Stopped in for a quick bite, and luckily it as during happy hour! Nice happy hour deals for okay food.

Very delicious yet a bit price-y

By FishFinderDoug |

We stayed very close to Buckley's here in Belltown, so eating here seemed a natural choice. On our first visit we had the Wild Buck. This was two @ seven ounce patties of ground beef with two slices of cheese and all the fixins. Aoli on the bun and yummy grilled onions. $19 w/ tip. Delicious yet price-y. Our second visit was a Monday. They have Happpy Hour prices for select food items with purchase of a drink. My wife and I were a bit exhausted from our day's travels and wanted carry out to take back to the room. Without a drink purchase the same appetizers were almost 40% higher. Yummy Thai chili riblets and mozzarella sticks. Ribs were amazing - yet $25 w/ tip. We were on vacation, it was amazing food. I would not have spent this much at home.

Seattle city break

By jonathanwest |

Love this place. Went there twice on a four night stay in Seattle for food one evening with friends and again for some afternoon beers. Great service, great atmosphere and my sort of place! A definite recommend

You should definitely visit

By kehirlo |

We found this pub as it was near our hotel. We found it was busy with locals so decided to eat there.it's a sports bar with excellent food. I ordered the fish tacos and a pint.my God the fish tacos were devine. The fresh flavours were to die for.it was actually nicer food than a Mexican we had been to a previrus night. The service was spot on and friendly and we even went back again a week later after our cruise and yes....I got the fish tacos again lol they were that good. Great value on the food and normal drink prices for seattle. Will call again if I'm in seattle

A spectacular LVIII Superbowl!

A good sports pub, excellent for following sporting events in company. Very nice location with a nice atmosphere. Fast and kind service. Very good food which led me to return again the following evening. Good choice of beers. Average prices.

Football Game Night Sunday Night!

By EddieRealty |

We where eating watching the football game. Excellent service and the waitress allways pending to our table and to our needs. The sports bar and the restaurant is for all types of family. Visit it! We order the fajitas street style. French Fries, avocado sauce and grilled shrimp and Alaskan Cod Fish. Great service, nice Draft Stella Beers. - Recomended place.- A++

Good Food Fun Bar

By Minnie Y |

We came here for brunch on the first of the year. There were 3 football games going on tv & the restaurant was packed with team supporters. One of the games was 49ers vs Seahawks, so there were a lot of enthusiastic supporters... we are from the sf Bay Area so we keep quiet. We had Bloody Mary (great! spicy!), BLT (great), Rueben sandwich (good), and pancake (good). The bread used on the sandwich was excellent. The service was rather slow... we sat for 20 minutes before anyone approached us. When the handsome but rather abrupt waiter suddenly popped out of nowhere, I was a little surprised. Anyway, once we got going, things got much better.

Nice sports bar

By VT20132013 |

We came to Buckley’s to find a place within walking distance of our hotel to watch our favorite college basketball team’s game. It was on two TVs there so we had our choice of places to sit. The food was good, and we enjoyed the couple hours we spent there watching the game.

Elevated Bar Food

By scotte238 |

Lots of beer choices, relaxed environment and great for lunch or dinner. Food is well prepared and offers good value. Also the staff has always been friendly and helpful. A great place to have in the neighborhood!

Great sports bar

Great sports bar with plenty of tvs. Showing English premiership. Friendly and food looks good although not tried. About 10 minute walk from pike place.

Fun spot in

By laears |

Belltown Seattle! What a good find steps from the condo we rented in Belltown. Good burger, good fries and onion rings and good friendly fast service at a really fair price for the city. My only complaint was on a Tuesday night about 8:30 P.M. they were playing some kind of a trivia game and guy was using a microphone and it was so loud you couldn't hear yourself think let alone talk to the other people at your table. It's a bar so you expect it to be loud but this was little to much. Even with the extra noise I would eat there again anytime I was in the area.

Fantastic dining experience!

By surfercharlie |

We got into Seattle late and our hotel desk clerk recommended Buckley's as it was within walking distance and open late. What she didn't mention is that the food is delicious, plentiful, and reasonably priced. And the service is out of this world. I ordered fish and chips. I got 3 huge pieces of fish, a ton of fries, coleslaw and all the c.ondiments. It was delicious. My wife ordered the New York steak with roasted potatoes. The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. The potatoes were well seasoned. She loved it. Best of all, however, was our server. Happy, friendly, and dancing around.....we loved it! So fun. Prices were reasonable. Only a block from our hotel. We will definitely be back.

Chicken Wings needs a new recipe

By hcohenSeattle |

Ate here tonight with friends. Server, Anna Marie, was excellent. Chicken wings need less breading and more flavor. Cesar salad was good.

The bouncer is a moron

By Kimberly B |

The pitcher of Blue Moon my husband and I ordered came to us 20 minutes late, but at least it was cold and refreshing. The bouncer insisted that I could only enter the bar if I showed him my passport. This was after I handed him an active United States Uniformed Services ID card. After I showed him my American passport in my maiden name (which doesn't prove I'm the same person as my United States Uniformed Services ID) he let us in before my husband could ask him what his problem was. Is the guy at the forefront of the Seattle border patrol? Glad the frat boys got in without a hitch and without a passport too. The bouncer might want to check out WAC 314-11-025: What are the forms of acceptable identification?, because in this state the military ID is perfectly acceptable proof.

Good Eats!

By bkute65 |

Excellent service! Great burgers and fries! The atmosphere is fun and friendly, just what you would expect in a local pub.

Great Sports Bar

By Alonn Bilbray |

Great sports bar. We were able to watch the hockey and basketball game at the same time. Food was great. Definitely recommend the Ribs.

Friendly pub with good food

By Floridian727 |

We spent a lot of time here during our Seattle vacation. The staff was friendly, drinks and specials were great, and the happy hour food we ordered was incredibly good. The sweet asian ribs are delicious! A combination of locals and visitors, low-key and low-pressure. A nice break from the touristy restaurants near the market.

Great happy hour food

By EdW23 |

I recently moved to Belltown. I have done both the early and late happy hours. Sometimes I work until 11PM so it's nice to have a place to get food. I have met all the servers and they are all very nice. I tried most of the happy hour food and they are all good but my favorite is the chicken ceasar. It is great and they really load the chicken on.

Big portions but average food

By Crazysal |

We came here on late on a Thursday night and we were one of a few tables eating however it did take a while for us to get our food. The menus was big with lots of typical bar food at a reasonable price. The overall atmosphere was good and although the portions was large the food was quite average.
