Good Italian restaurant

By ALMD |

Good Italian restaurant at the Venetian. The service was very polite, better than most of the other restaurants at this hotel. Very accommodating with the seating and the food. They do have kid menu, so it is excellent for families.

Great traditional italian food

By Simone K |

Great Italian food, lovely experience, and very central on the strip inside the Venetian hotel. Little on the pricey side but worth it.

Fun Italian Dinner

By PDMke |

Great food. Awesome service. Really nice experience. You can look at the menu, but it wasn't excessively expensive for the city. Resides in the unbelievably huge Venetian. Great time!

By BTPI |

Buddy V's deserts are out of the world great! The cheese cake was delightful and the cannoli was a treat. The pasta meals were large.

Amazing Italian food

By Eric C |

Food was absolutely amazing and great prices. Best of all Buddy was actually here today, chatted with us and took photos. Buddy was awesome. Definitely recommend eating here.

Wonderful experience from the service to the food

By Wendy C |

Wonderful experience and wonderful food! We made same day reservations by visiting the restaurant. We were seated immediately upon checking in. My husband had the chicken Marsala and I had the clam linguine. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend!

Disappointing Experience at Buddy V's in The Venetian, Las Vegas

By Kittie D |

My partner and I had high hopes for our dining experience at Buddy V's in The Venetian hotel in Las Vegas. Upon our arrival, we were promptly escorted to our table after a short 5-minute wait. Our table was situated directly across from the open kitchen and aligned with a bench on one side. Unfortunately, we found ourselves sandwiched between two large families with young children, whose seats almost touched ours. This proximity, coupled with the excessively loud music, created an overwhelmingly noisy atmosphere. Given the circumstances, it became clear that enjoying a peaceful meal would be nearly impossible. Regrettably, we decided to leave to avoid further disappointment. My advice to the management of Buddy V's would be to reconsider seating arrangements, particularly avoiding placing couples amidst large families with small children. In conclusion, while we had hoped for a delightful culinary adventure, our experience at Buddy V's fell short of expectations due to the chaotic ambiance.

Tasty meal at Buddy V’s

By SK |

Food was great- large portions and very tasty. Staff was friendly. Good value for the price. Would have preferred a better table location but I guess it was busy .

Delicious dining experience!

By Amy T |

We had an excellent dinner and overall dining experience at Buddy V's before we headed to the U2 concert at The Sphere! We made reservations but had to delay since part of our party was stuck in traffic. The hostess kindly let us know we wouldn't lose our spot even after 45 minutes past our scheduled time. We were then seated in the bar area next to windows that overlooked the city. Such a pretty view! They had a special price fixe menu that had three courses for a reasonable price which our entire party took advantage of. I had the shrimp scampi, and it was delicious! Everyone said their meals (chicken parm, chicken Alfredo, and salmon) were delicious! We were able to enjoy our dinner without being rushed through the courses, and the food was delicious. Dessert of cannoli and strawberry cheesecake with espressos and cappuccinos topped off a wonderful dinner.

Great experience!

By kristinn871 |

We had a great meal at Buddy V’s! The service was excellent, as was the food. I had the Sunday Gravy and it was fabulous! My kids had the Chicken Piccata and Chicken Parm and they were great too! Highly recommend!

FREEZING Cold

By Josie |

It was freezing at this restaurant. It was so cold that my food got cold within 5 minutes of being served. It was very hard to find as there are no signs how to get there. The service on the other hand was amazing. Josie was great, friendly and attentive. The food was ok but could not enjoy cold food.

Sunday Brunch

By debbie73 |

Booked in here for Sunday Brunch after seeing Wizard of Oz at the sphere. The food was good but it was busy and so a little chaotic going up and down to the different serving stations which were scattered. The food areas were not that spacious so there was a lot of bumping into people. However very good quality dishes and good value for money.

Not worth the price

By Kellie |

Chicken parm was nothing special. The mozzarella on top was not melted and the entire dish was cold. Probably ready way before my husband's lasagna came out of the oven in a cast iron skillet. The service was good, but the food needs a lot of work. Expected more from this restaurant.

Gotta try Buddy V’s while in Vegas!!!

By ken z |

This place was not good, but out of this world. Pricing is very fair for Vegas but the menu is fabulous and better yet, the meal was even better. My wife and I wanted to have a special night because we had tickets to see the EAGLES later that night at the SPHERE which is another whole nother post. Anyway my wife and I ordered chicken picante and Marsala. To say it was great would be an understatement. So tender. The only disappointment was not trying the desert menu and being too full. Was a brilliant starter to a brilliant night. Tremendous server as well. Ken Z.

Soo good!

By Lydia❤️ |

The Porchetta sandwich was to die for! You also get some appetizer bread and that was so good too! I would highly recommend!

Too expensive for what is offered

By Melechow |

The quality of the pizzas is OK but not worth the price. The beer is ridiculously expensive. The waiters are rude to the guests.

Bellisima!!

By Scruffybiker |

Great food!! The gentleman who refilled our water glasses was more attentive, though, than our actual waiter. We didn't let that detract from our evening, We will return!!

Wonderful dinner!

By cldrury4 |

Dinner was delicious and filling with very large portions. We didn’t have a reservation but we were seated immediately. Staff was efficient and very friendly. I highly recommend!!

Amazing!

By Maria Antonia |

We ordered a salad with shrimp and a parmigiana, and everything was simply delicious. Great service. It is very worth the experience.

WOW! Great meal at a reasonable price. Service was top notch!

By Stephen S |

The Sunday Gravy was to die for. The food was so good! The bake shop is right across from the restaurant. Can't go wrong with the awesome cannoli's.

That's "Amore"

By popib56 |

We dine here several times during our time in Vegas. The service was excellent. Jasmine and Ricky took care of us the last night of our stay. Very friendly and great service. The food was excellent. We had the ravioli dinners and salad. Just like my Italian grandmother's cooking. After dinner we got dessert at the bakery next door. Highly recommend this restaurant. We made reservations each time. Ciao

Gluten Free Pasta Was Excellent

By Jacalyn1017 |

My cousin and I both enjoyed this casual Italian Restaurant. There was a wait, but the process is efficient. Once seated, the service was excellent and fast. My cousin and I both enjoyed our meals. I have to order gluten free (Celiac) which means I usually have a tasteless dish. Not here! Here the gluten free pasta was excellent. I recommend what I had: pasta with vodka sauce with chicken. My cousin isn't gluten free so she enjoyed the meatballs and her regular pasta dish. Highly recommend. We intend to return.

Watch out if you want to change the pasta

By Disneytraveler2015 |

I wanted to switch out the angle hair pasta for another pasta and the waiter talked me into another pasta dish with other veggies. He ended up charging me 12.95 for the additional veggies and that made my pasta dish almost $36. He did not tell me in advance that he was going to charge me $12.95 for the change. All I wanted to do was to change the pasta.

Buddy V's Dining Experience seems over managed to increase profit at the expense of a good dining experience.

By Majrgc |

Buddy V's let us down. The restaurants seemed driven to increase profit margins. I understand making money is what business is all about, but this place seemed overly organized to just get you in and out with not one item allowed outside the exact amount pre-measured food to feed each customer. Based on our dining experience everything at this place seemed 100% micro-managed to achieve maximum profitability. For example, we were given one small piece of bread each with no options for extra if desired. The dinner portions seemed managed down to the once. Then the desert seemed to be miniature. In sum, the food was ok, but was way overpriced for what you received. To us the entire experience seemed scripted to get you in and get you own like the place was operating as if it were on a military food contract. We wanted this place to be special, but it just was not. In case it matters we are within height and weight standards, not obese eaters who need massive portions.

Great meal!

By dppalmieri |

Service was great and the food was good. The shrimp pasta was very tasty. The steak was good as well. The vodka pasta sauce was good, but I think it would have been better without the added chicken in it.

Caleb & Ruben Best Server Duo In Las Vegas

By Matthew From Albuquerque |

I went in on May 14th in the evening to come celebrate my birthday and hoped to be seated in Caleb's Section as he was my server last year and went above and beyond to make my experience rock with the help of Ruben his assistant. When I checked in with the hostess to my surprise they saw my note and call messages to be placed in Caleb & Rubens section. Caleb and Ruben approached the table where me and my best friend Travis were seated with big smiles and welcomed me warmly back to town and shook our hands. Caleb didnt hesitate to make me feel at ease and at home in the restaurant by getting me set with his favorite cocktails while Ruben kept our water glasses full and kept bringing us fresh delicious bread. Caleb's entree and starter recommendations surely didn't disappoint just like the last visit. He was so right about the meatballs and the Maine Lobster Rossa!!! Both were beyond delicious and hit the soul just right! My friend loved his dishes he got as well as the delicious cappuccino and dessert. They brought me a Birthday Platter and it had all my favorite cake boss treats!! I have been coming to Las Vegas since 2005 with my parents then in 2022 began coming annually by myself to celebrate my birthday and just unwind. I can now say whenever I am in town I will be coming to visit Ruben & Caleb. Buddy Valastro should be made aware of the exceptional top shelf hospitality these two amazing professionals provided and I firmly believe they deserve more than just recognition, but definitely should be given raises for their hard work. Caleb's knowledge of the menu and wine and cocktails is truly impeccable. Ruben is one of the best servers assistance I have seen in my life, he is efficient professional, and has a great smile. Caleb and Ruben are the definition of excellent customer service and should be. If by chance the famous Buddy Valastro is reading this review or Caleb's general manager is please make sure you take time to recognize these two amazing individuals. Without them, my trip would not truly be as remarkable as it has been since I met them in 2023 at the restaurant. Caleb & Ruben, I cant wait to see you again hopefully next year in 2025! Until then may God Bless you and keep up the good work! Don't go anywhere amigos you are why I keep coming back. Of course the amazing food is a reason but above all your service is what keeps me coming back - Matthew Gutierrez Social Media/Community/Travel Influencer Albuquerque,NM USA

Phenomenal food, great service, and reasonably priced!

By Billv18 |

The food here was so good we came back the next night to try more! The manager, Emily C, greeted us at our table, stopped by to chat with us and make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The pizza was great, Grandma’s Meatballs were delicious (and the appetizer was even enough as a meal - 6 of them!), the shrimp scampi, eggplant parmesan, and salads were big hits as well! And we were able to get a table without any wait. Highly recommend and will definitely go back on our next trip to Vegas.

EXCELLENT ACROSS THE LINE

By Patrick Van Acker |

This restaurant located in the immediate vicinity on the Canal Shop in the Venetian Resort open for lunch and dinner with traditional Italian food , beautiful and takes care of interior , despite the crowds immediately assigned a table , my menu , grand Ma meatballs , Pizza Margherita and to conclude Teramisu everything was excellent , service is well structured smooth and very friendly , definitely recommended with family or friends on holiday in LAS VEGAS .

Great chicken parm - nice Italian atmosphere

By Stephanie P |

We needed a business casual dining spot at the Venetian resort area, and we were all in the mood for pasta so this fit the bill. Our food was enjoyable and the service was great. I had the chicken vodka pasta, and the others I was with had the chicken parm. I think theirs was a 5/5 and mine was a 4/5. It is also big enough to split, so we decided that the next time we go there, we'll split a salad and the chicken parm. A nearby table had the meatball appetizer, and that looked pretty good as well.

Just OK

By gwen k |

I just didn’t think it was that great. I feel like it wasn’t any better than an Olive Garden. Food was mediocre at best. Waitstaff was friendly.

Superb

By aoife |

Beautiful food in a beautiful setting. Would highly recommend spaghetti and meatballs, lasagne and rigatoni bolognaise. Beautiful pinot grigio on offer. Setting is old school, although it was very busy you could still talk. Went twice on our visit to Las Vegas, Kacie was fantastic!

Most welcoming(and delicious) Dining on the Strip!

By lisa s |

This was our second time at Buddys and we were SO happy we chose to come here again! Amazing food of course with the friendliest waitstaff and management! The strip views are unbeatable as well as the food! The spaghetti and meatballs were amazing and so was the Caprese Salad. I also indulged in two delicious cups of cappuccino which came with a rock candy stirrer and biscotti ,which were so delicious! Everyone was so welcoming and attentive! We will definetly be back!

5+ stars

By Stephen S |

WOW!!! The NY Steak sandwich was amazing, (6 stars) The Shaved Porcheta Sandwich was the bomb. The Fries were the best ever. The Margherita pizza was delicious. Prices were not too bad (for the strip). And service was spot on.

Overpriced and horrible service

By pizzaguy44 |

We were seated after an hour wait, then we waited 10 minutes for server to show up. We ordered 2 sodas, which never came. The table next to ours was seated 20 minutes after us and there food arrived before ours. We ordered side of Italian sausage that never came. Very poor experience, one failure after another. Would not go back

Unpleasant truth

By Juan Francisco D |

My family and I had a reservation and we get a table in the middle of nowhere, my chair was broken, my daughter asked for pizza and there was no pizza, the bread was served late, etc. The only thing to highlight was the good service from the busboys because it seemed that our waiter was in a bad mood.

Fantastic

By pkgsknight |

We chose Buddy V's in the Venetion for dinner for our one night in Vegas and we were definitely NOT disappointed. We had a great table with a view overlooking the strip, which was nice. The server was top-notch - he was friendly, outgoing, helpful, attentive, and made excellent suggestions for both dinner and drinks. The food was wonderful - everyone loved their choices. We started with the cheesy garlic bread, which was fabulous - crispy outer edges and soft, cheesy inside. For dinner we chose veal piccata (made special), chicken piccata, chicken fettuccine Alfredo (with added spinach), linguine shrimp scampi, and chicken parmesan. Everything was delicious, fresh, well seasoned, and we had plenty of food. I would absolutely go here again and I highly recommend it.

Food is always delicious!

By Wendy C |

My husband and I love the food at Buddy’s. I was a little disappointed that they were out of clams because I wasn’t able to order my favorite linguine and clams dish. I had the tomato basil soup for my appetizer and it was delicious. I did order the shrimp scampi as my meal and it was tasty. My husband ordered the meatballs for an appetizer and chicken Alfredo for his meal. He enjoyed both. We both had the tiramisu for dessert and it was spectacular as always.

Great Food and Overall Experience!

By NickVago95 |

Some of the best pasta I’ve ever had! I ordered the Pasta Chicken Alla Vodka. Great dish and big portion. The bread at the beginning before the food came was great too. The waiter had great recommendations for drinks and was very knowledgeable when we had questions about the menu. Atmosphere was busy but happy and energetic. Great decor and very clean overall. Would definitely recommend and planing to go back to this restaurant next time I’m in Vegas.

Happy Hour M-F 2-4pm in bar and lounge high tops

By Meg R |

Happy Hour special brought us out here. 7.95 Meatballs and Eggplant parm., Basil ricotta and Hoboken Chicken wings special 2-4pm. Drink specials too, 6.95, but this Cake Boss knows how to spice up an idea of saving room for dessert with this deal. Inside the Venetian it’s worth adding this special to your phone calendar in case you happen to be here.

Nice Italian restaurant in The Venetian resort

By DrewP |

Nice Italian restaurant conveniently located in the Venetian resort. Fast and attentive service, tasty traditional Italian appetizers and entrees, variety of cocktails and great desserts.

OMGA (Oh MY Giddy Aunt)

By John-Paul R |

Ok... 7 years on this planet ... and i have NEVER had anything so good as the Veal Marsala at Bobby V restaurant at the Venetian. I can't even describe what I ate. I have no refrence to explain it. I don't know the taste of herb or spice or .... stuff? ... it even was! It's like having ate only dry crackers my whole life and now I have to describe a ... steak or ice cream or bbq ribs... I cant say what it is that I had. Just that it was THE most amazing food I ever experienced... I had a food orgasm in my mouth 😶 The bread at the start was amazing. The ceaser salad was outstanding. Service was superior in every way. I have reached the pinnacle of my restaurant experience. 10/10 I shall never truly eat again 😶 everything else after this is just an energy distribution system.

Good food and service

By DecoWorldTraveler |

Loved the pizza and pasta with meat balls. Service was good, attentive and welcoming. We sat on the outside tables and enjoyed a nice dinner. When in Vegas, will visit again. Not a Michelin restaurant obviously but it met the expectation

Excellent service and good food.

By TheTravellingFoodie |

We ate here twice while staying at the Venetian- once for lunch and the second day for dinner. Service was exceptional. Friendly and attentive. Easy to come back here for another meal. Oh, and the food was fantastic too. Perfect serving sizes. Not greasy. Delicious. Good wine.

Amazing food amazing service

By 19NV85 |

Went here for brunch, and have to say I was very impressed on all accounts of my experience. All of the food was so good. some of the highlights were the carving station tri-tip, the cured meat and cheeses board, but the real star for me was the sweeter breakfast items, Italian donuts, traditional donuts, croissants, pain au chocolate tiramisa etc. Bottemless mimosas or billini or sangria for additional 20 dollars was well worth it. Our server Paolo was incredible he was not a Jersey Italian like Buddy V he is was an Italian from Italy, super warm and hospitable he made us feel like we were at his house or a really nice big party he was host. Watching him you can see he was endeared by all his tables. Great food coupled with Paolo and the rest of the staffs great service this place is a must for Sunday brunch when in Vegas.

Good Italian food and value

By Silje D |

As a family of five we ordered three pizzas and two pastas, which were all suuuper delicious. I’m allergic to milk, but it was no problem here and I was able to get the pasta I wanted with tomatosauce instead of white wine sauce. Probably the best value al a carte you will get in Vegas. Also hats off to the servers (especially Carlos) who were running around, working like he had 8 arms and still managed to deliver amazing service. We never had an empty water glass or plate, and always got a smile and help. Would strongly recommend coming here if you are looking for Italian food in Vegas.

Decent service and food.

By StephanieD121 |

Appreciate that they were able to seat us 1 hour earlier than our reservation as we were starving. Food was decent. Not exceptional but overall, no complaints. Waitress was great. Checked on us often and was able to get us a nice military discount. There was one man, not sure if he was a waiter, manager or bus boy. Dressed all in black, balding and on the shorter side. He worked his butt off. Setting up tables, cleaning and clearing tables, filled water glasses, checked in on us etc. Constantly working. I was tempted to ask for his name to give him a shout out in my review. I hope management notices how hard you work.

Excellent food and location

By sjskns |

We went to dinner at Buddy V’s on our way to The Backstreet Boys concert at The Sphere. Extremely convenient! We were seated in the back which unfortunately looked out on trump tower but was, in actuality, a warm and inviting dining room, covered with family photos that made me feel like we were in someone’s home. Just delightful. I believe our server’s name was Joseph. He was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious. There were four of us as we met up with my daughter’s friends. One Pastas, one Ravioli and two Pizzas were shared along with salads, with the leftovers being sent home with the bachelor who lives in LV. The portions were large and delicious. Our server remembered that this year the girls were celebrating their 40th birthday, the bachelor just turned 45 and I was turning 70, so we were gifted with delicious birthday cake. (the next day we went across the hall to Carlo’s Bakery to bring cake home for Hubby. Great choice for pre-concert, just around the corner is the bridge to The Sphere.

To say I ate at Buddy’s

By mrjonesii |

We could’ve chosen from several Italian restaurants in the Venetian/Palazzo resort however I chose Buddy’s so I can go home and brag that I ate there. We were seated in a timely manner. The restaurant was nice and clean. Busy and noisy but that’s the Italian way, right. The service was just ok. Our waiter didn’t come to our table much for all the other tables he was waiting on. The food was good and plenty. Price average for Vegas pricing. Overall I’m glad we came however other Italian restaurants may be better. Sorry Buddy…

Great views and Food

By ryanh7681 |

Took a large group of colleagues here for our meal the night of one of our conventions. Service was quick and friendly. Food had large portion sizes. I enjoyed my Caesar salad. We had a birthday in our group and staff played along for a birthday surprise for that person. It was great. The view out of the window by our table was great.

Quite average experience for group of 5

By Bill N |

Tried reservations no luck, did a 45 minute wait, no real bar area as tables in this area are for dining. Got overpriced beers. Waited 45 minutes for table unfriendly greeters. Finally seated next to stage with duo playing nice music. Went with Prix fixe menu of lobster bisque only no lobster chunks just broth which was okay. Then for main went with chicken parmesan and side of spaghetti. Served warm and not hot... flavor and presentation so so. Wrapped up with cannoli. Expensive experience that didn't live up to price.

Want bad service this place is for you

By Bob S |

Worst time ever went for our anniversary and was ruinned all server worried abour was her halloween costume never saw her till bill came meal was.bkand ty for ruinning our anniversary will never go back trued to call amd complain put on hold then hung up.on me wow great customer service avoid this dump.at all cost.

Food is fine, experience was disappointing

By Brian W |

I’ll start by saying: the food was fine. My son and I ordered a pepperoni pizza to share. We eat lots of pizza. This was fine. Better than Pizza Hut. Probably not as good as a good neighborhood pizza joint. This place earned two stars from me for two reasons: the service was slow and not attentive (we waited 15 minutes for someone to come fill our glasses with water and give us menus; later I had to chase down our server to eventually get the check), and the second reason is that, for a restaurant owned by The Cake Boss, there was no actual cake on the menu (they have a cheesecake, but no signature Cake Boss cakes).

Buddy V vegas

By Penny C |

Very casual relaxing atmosphere. Loved the decor . Very nice wait staff . Authentic Italian food and delicious. Has a full bar . An excellent menu . Highly recommend. It is located inside the Venetian plus across from Carlos bake shop and the 2nd floor balcony overlooking the street. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Nice dinner

By Sally G |

They were very friendly. The atmosphere was good. We got a table with a view, which was nice. The food was excellent. Wish I had room to try dessert.

Best Chicken Parm

By Mark E |

I was in the mood for sauce so I ordered the meatballs and the chicken parm and both were amazing! I don’t usually order chicken parm because most restaurants don’t do it right and I make it super good but took a chance and it was perfect and best chicken parm ever at a restaurant. The cannoli was also very good best I had.

Disappointed

By Erieval |

Really disappointing experience. My husband and I arrived a minute early for reservation. We were asked to wait briefly. We stood less than 5 feet from the reception desk. 10 minutes later and after watching several other people (who arrived after us) get seated, my husband went to the desk to ask. Was told “we called your name”. That was a lie. We stood within earshot and eyesight and it was not a loud environment. Why not own the mistake, apologize and offer to seat us immediately? Why lie? Immature staff which left us with no desire to spend our money at Buddy V’s.

Amazing Italian restaurant

By Tracy L |

This was my 3rd visit to Buddy’s and it was amazing. My salmon steak was the best I’ve ever had. All the food was delicious and service was fabulous. The cannolis are unbelievable. Cute atmosphere too. My only complaint is that there is not a Buddy V’s in Chicago!!!

Wonderful experience

By Alexandre H |

I made a reservation for lunch at this restaurant. It was a Friday, we were two people and it was a birthday celebration. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. We had a great table by the window. We ordered squid as a starter and it was tasty. The two dishes chosen were also excellent. And to top it off, they were friendly and brought a cannoli for dessert with a small birthday candle.

Best Dinner in Vegas

By Bryan Jones |

An amazing place to eat, conveniently located, and well worth the visit. Buddy has outdone himself with this place and the food lives up to his Italian roots. His mother taught him well and the lasagna transformed my wife and I to Italy for the evening. It was flavored spectacularly, large portion, a priced right. For dessert we had the tiramisu which left our mouths salivating for more. To top the evening off Buddy complimented us with glasses of promiscutto which made the tiramisu that much more enjoyable. While we didn’t get to officially meet Buddy, we did get to meet Josie our talented server who was amazing and a true ambassador to Buddy V’a establishment. Buddy picked a winner with her service and we highly recommend her. If you are ever in Vegas check this place out, you won’t regret it. 5 stars and then some.

Perfect meal

By Ayns |

Absolutely lovely meal here. Myself and my partner both said it was one of the best meals we had whilst there. The food was lovely, the drinks were nice and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommend.

Excellent Dinner at Buddy V's

By JJ |

Buddy V's at the Venetian has an amazing staff - our hostess, our waiter, the manager who came over to kindly jab at me for eating my pizza with a fork - every person we interacted with at Buddy V's was outstandingly kind and personable. The food - absolutely delicious. I have a lot of food allergies and had no trouble finding something on the menu. A quote from my Mom: "Remember that Italian place I said I loved? This puts that place to shame". Even the croutons in her Caesar salad were warm and freshly made. The only disappointment - that the cakes from Carlo's Bakery are not available on the dessert menu. You can buy a pre-packaged slice next door at Carlo's Bakery, but I was hoping that I could order a slice after dinner at Buddy V's. I am so happy I tried this restaurant while in Vegas. I have had a lot of disappointments with celebrity chef restaurants, but I am very happy to report that Buddy V's is not one of them!

Worst time ever

By Bobby S |

If could i would give zero went for anniversary all waitress worried about was her halloween costume

Well pleased

By Alan H |

We walked right in on a Wed night, server was great and service overall great. Please was calm for Vegas. We had Caeser, Pizza and Sunday Super (think it was called). Over all we enjoyed it and for Vegas the price point is not crazy. Not going to say it was the best Italian ever but it was solid. I would go back again.

Great Sunday Brunch!

By Farmwife03 |

My husband and I enjoyed the Sunday brunch, and it was fantastic. The variety of brunch options was impressive, and everything I tried was absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a great place to eat at the Venetian, I highly recommend this spot!

Fabulous Food!

By heathermcandrew |

Food and Service did not disappoint! Really enjoyed the flavors. Kitchen missed one thing yet server and manager more than made up for it. Will definitely visit again!

Super delicious

By Sabi3Dee |

Honestly, this was the best pasta I've ever eaten in a restaurant. We'll definitely come back here for the next Vegas trip.

Buddy V’s

By mroy71 |

Went to Buddy V’s for anniversary dinner and loved it. Food was great and large portions wait staff was attentive. Good size drink menu well worth the price. Got a free cannoli for dessert since mentioned it was our anniversary nice little touch. Highly recommend

Delicious food

By lfoye |

Me and my Wife went here for dinner and I had a great experience. I ordered the XL veal Parmigiana and it was oh soooo good. My wife had the Chicken parmigiana and she said it was delicious. The service was awesome as the whole staff were very friendly. If I were any of you I would give Buddy V's a try. They are located in the Palazzo

Great meal

By Beachgirl6515 |

We had reservations luckily. So we got into dinner without an issue. Josie was our waitress. She was great. So many choices. Food was superb. Service was good. Highly recommend.

Buddy V’s Perfect Dinner Before The Show

By Buddy H |

We were looking for a good dinner choice at the Venetian before the Eagles concert at the Sphere. Buddy V’s had availability and had good reviews. Service was top notch - our waiter was excellent. Food was great as well, Chicken Marsala was great, as was the Lasagna, and my wife absolutely loved the Cheese Ravioli. Prices were excellent compared to other options at the Venetian, quality food at a fair price. Met and exceeded our expectations. We would go back and recommend it to friends as well.

Not worth the visit.

By Jason Bourne |

Expensive and you are in and out like a flash. A beer and a glass of wine $35. Whole meal - one course and drinks I’ve $100. Spend your money in Grand Luxe Cafe instead.

Better than expected...

By Robert N |

We visited after watching the Postcards from Earth show at The Sphere. Upon arrival, we were seated promptly and got our drinks and appetizers ordered straight away. The service was prompt and attentive, but never pushy. We shared the caprese salad for a starter and were impressed by the quality of the cheese and the seasoning. I had the rigatoni bolognese and my wife enjoyed the chicken piccata. Portions were large and the food itself was delicious. I'm always skeptical when I go to a "name" restaurant because past experience has shown that they tend to coast on name recognition alone. But I have to say that Buddy V's exceeded my expectations.

Dessert and Service - 5 stars but lunch is 1 star

By Rose M |

The restaurant provides great service; however, I can only recommend dessert, not lunch. The NY steak sandwich was too salty and got too much of a burnt taste. Buddy's favorite pizza was too greasy, and the spaghetti with meatballs has nothing extraordinary with the taste. We were disappointed with the lunch but were highly satisfied with the Butterscotch Creme Brulee and Lisa's Warm Nutella Cake.

Good pizza

By Running Man |

Great pizza and salad. Veggie and cheese slices were delicious. Priced a little high, but it is Vegas. Wait times were a little long, but food was hot.

Sub-par at best...

Went here with our best friends for the husband's 60th birthday under his recommendation from a previous visit. She (and I) are gluten free and she bragged on how they had GF Chicken Farm (baked/grilled chicken) over GF pasta... they didn't have it. Said they never had it. The pasta options were poor, they offer GF pasta but not GF meatballs ... WHY?!?!?!? It's not that difficult to make GF meatballs, I make them at home all the time. I ended up with the Bronzino, where is was sub-par and just OK the veggies were great! My point is, I came to eat Italian food, which I didn't get to have. My husband had the lasagna and said it was very good. Our friends had a Filet Mignon and the husband had the Chicken Farm. Overall the food was average and our waiter was just as average. With as many GF options as there are in the world these days, Buddy V's needs to up their game. Can't say I will recommend this place and unless I'm with someone who insists on going back there, I won't go back. There are far better Italian places with more GF options to choose from.

Perfect American Italian

By Mom2Twincesses |

We were seated for an early supper with no wait. We’d just finished an all day outdoor tour but were treated as well as the best dressed there. They bring bread with oil and basalmic for dipping. We shared the lasagna, meatballs and cheesy bread and had more than enough! We were so stuffed that we skipped dessert in house and walked across the hall for a Carlos Bakery treat to take back to the room for later!

Good bet for a cozy Italian meal in Vegas... and great staff!

By CailTravels |

We reserved a table for an early dinner before a concert. We are vegetarian and had several options. We shared the eggplant dish, salad and pizza. All dishes were very tasty and flavorful. Food portions are large, so if you have a lighter appetite, you may want to share. Cocktails were good! All staff we encountered were very friendly and attentive. Overall, a good experience that exceeded my expectations!

Do not miss this gem in the Venetian Canal Shoppes!!!

By Leslie M |

Our last night in Vegas- we hit the jackpot at Buddy V’s. The location was perfect because we stayed at the Venetian. The charm of the restaurant hits you right when you enter. The suspended rolling pins, the books shelves, and the open kitchen bustling with sights and smells welcome you. We had a fabulous waiter- Mourad. He assisted us with wine and food selections- that were perfection. His assistant kept our table tidy and drinks flowing. I had the best cooked branzino. My husband had lobster pasta. They accommodated us with a few scallops because we couldn’t choose. How could we skip desserts at the Cake Boss’ restaurant? Nutella lava cake and Bananas foster sticky pudding. Service, Food and atmosphere are all outstanding! Don’t miss this one- but make a reservation because it was rightfully busy!!!!

STUPENDO!

By John E |

Where do I even begin with this review? Ambiance? Service? Food? Because all were SPECTACULAR! We had an incredible experience at Buddy V's on December 18th! We had reservations for the Sunday Brunch when they opened at 10:30 a.m. We were escorted to a cozy, quiet booth in the bar area per our request. We were immediately greeted by our server, Joanna. She was absolutely fabulous throughout our brunch experience! She brought us "Bubbles" and an incredibly crafted Bloody Mary by Johnny the bartender! She also brought us a menu that explained what was at each station at the brunch and items that could be ordered. This was really great because you could plan out where to go and what was at each station. What sets the brunch buffet apart from the rest is that the stations are spaced out amongst the dining room and they are not overwhelmingly huge where you have to wait in a line. We never waited once in a line. The presentation was lovely and simple elegance. Every station was kept clean, organized and neat. The food was truly to die for! The antipasto station was filled with salmon, shrimp, salads, olives, etc. and the cheese and salumi platter was wonderful and had the best gorgonzola cheese we have ever had. Even the crostini was amazing! Next we tried the roasted mushroom and truffle pizza at the chef's table and it was delicious. After that we ventured to Buddy's favorites where we sampled everything.....chicken parm, meat balls, mac & cheese carbonara and the hoboken wings. Each dish was truly outstanding and couldn't even begin to pick a favorite. The carving station had the most delectable grilled peppercorn crusted steak with chimichurri. So tender and so flavorful. We were so full that we didn't order anything from "For The Table" menu that featured omelettes, pancakes and french toast. But we did save a bit of room to sample the desserts....cannoli, strawberry cheesecake and chocolate covered strawberries. Again, the presentation was beautiful and the desserts were simply delish! The service we received from Joanna and her assistant was truly impeccable! She was absolutely extraordinary and we will always request her! Water was refilled, plates were cleared, and our drinks were never empty and always replenished! We never once felt rushed. We really aren't fans of a buffet but this is not your typical Vegas buffet! It is more of an upscale experience that was relaxing and enjoyable. As we were leaving, we had the pleasure of meeting the manager, Emily. Many accolades to all the team members at Buddy V's. We truly had a phenomenal time! BRAVO!!!!

Good Italian Food for reasonable price

By WH |

We ate the Buddy V’s Ristorante inside Venetian. We had excellent service. The food was delicious and served quickly. Two of us had Caesar salad and it was one of the best I have eaten. One person had spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were really good.

Very Good but Not Impressed

By Jennifer G |

The food and the service were very good and attentive but you are paying for the name. This restaurant gets very crowded. We got the cheese raviolis and the chicken marsala. The chicken marsala was enough for two people to eat! Overall, I thought it was too expensive for what you got and I’ve had better food at other restaurants in Vegas.

Rock and Roll Italian

By Thomas W |

Tired of walking, we decided to eat “in house” as we were staying at the Palazzo. Reservations were made earlier in the day, and the earliest we could do was 8:15pm. The place was packed, and they were running a little late. We were seated at the end of a multi-table booth, happy not to be in the middle sections. We just ordered wines by the glass, very good, and started with a side of meatballs, and a Caesar salad. Both very good, although the polenta? croutons were unexpected, but interesting. For entrees, we had the chicken parmesan which was very good, but huge! The fettuccine Alfredo was OK, but salty. Our server took very good care of us, and made the evening fun. We asked him, mostly jokingly, if he could put some other music on other than the extremely loud rock and roll. This restaurant should get a five, and I almost gave it a three, mostly driven by the inappropriate and loud music that is hard to get away from in Las Vegas.

excellent food esp. the desserts!

By Addy C |

We had a party of 12, and reserved a private room in the back which was very nice. Service was really great. And most importantly, the food was delicious - everyone enjoyed their meals. Portions were very generous too - several of us had leftovers for the next day. All the apps were great - Cheesy Garlic Bread, My Wife's Eggplant Parm, Buddy's Caprese, and Grandma's Meatballs. Ordered My Mother-in-law's linguine shrimp scampi at the recommendation of our server - wow just wow!! And the desserts ... you can't skip desserts made by the famous Cake Boss. We ordered one of each and shared - the unanimous favorite was the Nutella Cake which tasted similar to a chocolate lava cake ... the cheesecake and creme brulee a very close 2nd. The Italian birthday cake clearly won for presentation. FYI restaurant is located at the Venetian Hotel - parking is free, no validation needed. There was a cost for the private room, and we had to meet a minimum too ... we ended up ordering more drinks and then some food for our lunch next day to meet the minimum :) I would definitely come back!

BEST SUNDAY BRUNCH ON THE STRIP

By Barbara Stein |

The best brunch on the strip and best value.Excellent high end cusine at fair price.Strip views while dining and excellent service.Price includes beverage and coffee.

Good for a quick bite

By Lenny H |

We stopped in for a late lunch. They were very welcoming. The food was good, but not great. As it is a ,rage restaurant, it is rather noisy.

Canoli and Wine!

By Rick H |

We had dinner here on a Sunday evening. It was busy! We were able to get a table for two in the bar area overlooking the Strip after a 15 minute wait.👍🏻 Our server “Josie” was very helpful and attentive. Thank you Josie. Great job! My lovely wife had “Buddy’s Caprese Salad”. She thought it was good, but was bummed that the mozzarella cheese was overly soft. I had the Chicken Parmesan. It was really good! I’d get it again. Josie said it’s their best selling entre. I can see why. But the best part of our meal was the Canoli. It was the best! Forget the entre, just get a glass of wine and a Canoli!

Lack of service

By craig l |

Group of 4- restaurant about as expected business wise. Everything was off though. Service was terrible. Food and drinks very slow to come out and in wrong orders. Trying to get rectified- would tell another server or employee- nothing changed. From waters and adult beverages empty. To needing silverware to crushed red pepper. Overall very disappointing night- 4 people and bill $450+ pre tip you expect better. I expect service like this at Applebees not here.

Excellent

By Stephanie K |

If you don’t go to this restaurant in Las Vegas you are missing out on some great Italian food. Staff were very friendly and very attentive. Well done best dinner I’ve had in 2025.

Fantastic Dining for Large Group

By Karen M |

Nine couples descended on Vegas for a fun-filled weekend — we were looking for a restaurant that could accommodate our party — with all different dietary challenges (vegan and gluten free), a desire to seat us near to each other, and lots of food choices. Buddy Vs delivered on all of our needs! Great service (attentive but not rushed), authentic Italian food, great drink menu (including your standards plus complex and fun cocktails!) — the whole experience was very enjoyable and affordable (by Vegas standards!).

Chicken Parm for Lunch!

By Shawnola |

This is a very nice restaurant. I sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and prompt. There are nice views from the bar area. I had the chicken parm. It was two nice pieces of perfectly cooked chicken with just the right amount of pasta. The presentation was excellent. I also really enjoyed the sauce. The complementary bread provided was also very good.

Great Italian restaurant

By Drew27332 |

I enjoyed Buddy V’s very much. I had the chicken Alfredo and Caesar salad which were both great. Staff was super friendly and attentive. The bread they serve before the meal is just ok but definitely recommend this restaurant

What’s a Cake Boss

By Goriders99 |

I was looking for a restaurant reasonably close the the arena and we were in the area of Buddy Vs mid afternoon. We checked if we could get a reservation for 5pm and we’re told no but to come back at 4.30 which we did. When we came back they said they did not have a table and could not be seated even though the restaurant was at 50% capacity so we stepped back to regroup surf Trip Advisor for options but I went back and asked if we could sit at the bar which we were told we could but it was strange the offer was not made. We took a seat at the bar and had a drink, the bar tending staff was engaging and a fun group while waiting we looked at the menu.which was time well spent as now time was running tight. After maybe 15 minutes we got a table. Bottom line I think they were short of staff and when we got our table that server was surprised we already had drinks and knew what we wanted. I had the Chicken Parm very good, my son had the Lobster Mac and Cheese very average, my wife had some a dish were she substituted one type of paste for another which they happily did and she loved it. We finished the evening with Americanos the Crème brûlée and Lisa’s warm Nutella Cake which were great. Overall we were very happy and waddled off to the hockey game. The prices were good for Vegas and particularly for what turned out to be a celebrity venue. I guess if TLC showed hockey I would have known who the cake boss was.

Sunday Brunch Buffet is a must!

By stitcher1951 |

We just had a fabulous brunch at Buddy V’s! We were seated promptly and since I’m disabled the hostess took me around and let me choose our table. Our server was Paulo and he was the best! He was very friendly and helpful! We couldn’t have asked for anything better There was four of us and i believe we tried everything except the omelets and pancakes My favorite was the peppercorn steak. Wow it was filet and was so tender and cooked to perfection. The ham had good flavor. I tried it with the honey mustard and also without it. Both were delicious My husband said the pork sliders were also good I asked my son for his feedback. He tried almost everything and he said would get seconds of everything. There is a nice variety of food and everything was good Save room for desserts! Their desserts are tiny which i love because then you can try a few things! We felt the best dessert was the lemon raspberry meringue. Yum! Again the service we had was amazing! The station servers were all very friendly too So, we loved this Sunday Buffet and we will come back on our next trip!!

Bummed

By j1629 |

This is a definite stop every time we are in Vegas. We come often, about twice a year. The food was still excellent. We always loved eating at the bar with Jason. We were so sad to hear that he isn’t there anymore. Ricky did a nice job but, we missed the impeccable service and kindness from Jason.

A must visit

By Travel75_12 |

First time visiting and was not disappointed. Service was prompt. Food was delicious and filling. Great ambiance within the restaurant.

Great experience. Dinner and drinks at the bar with Johnnie!

By Jack K |

Went to Buddy V’s after seeing the Wizard of Oz at The Sphere. Sat at the bar, Johnny was our bartender / server. The food was excellent. But Johnny was the highlight. Outstanding customer service professional. I love to watch throne who is very good at his job. Johnnie is that guy!!

Do not miss, must do!

By Obleena500 |

This was the best meal of the trip, so delicious and great service, huge portions and the best prices of the very expensive food trip!

Must visit

By Shaneyboy73 |

I was here at lunchtime and was surprised that there were so few people in eating. I almost questioned going in. I’m so glad I stayed! The salmon was the best I’ve eaten anywhere. The tiramisu was phenomenal. I did the tasting menu and the waitress suggested grandma’s meatballs for the appetizer. She was very accurate! The attention to detail by the staff was impressive.

Great meal

By karla l |

Good food. Great chocolate martinis. Staff is attentive and friendly. Reasonable pricing and nice atomosphere. Cheesecake was great too.

Buddy V's is the place to B!

By Jill Z |

Excellent restaurant! The atmosphere is nice, service was outstanding, menu options were good and the food was delicious. Prices were reasonable compared to other dining options nearby. Best meal we had in Vegas.

10/10 delicious

By Morgan W |

Buddy Vs was absolutely delicious. The service was wonderful. I got the caprese salad and added grilled chicken. The chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We'd definitely go back!

This is a vegas must do

By stitcher1951 |

I reviewed their brunch in June 2024. We enjoyed it so much that we wanted to return this trip. It is still excellent with a great variety I wanted to share some good news. The price has gone down by $10. One of the few things where the price is lower ! Thank you Buddy V !!❤️❤️

Great spot!

By mbellny |

Went here for lunch as family of 4. Staff are friendly and attentive. Food was excellent! The porchetta sandwich which was excellent. They have a kids menu as well which saved us some money. It was a pricey meal especially for lunch but on par for Vegas prices. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Terrible hostess will forget you.

By Claudio V |

We got there early for our reservation and asked the hostess if we could get a table. She said she would look into it. We stood RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER!!!! For over 15 minutes, waiting to get the table. My wife, tired of waiting, went and asked her… she had “forgotten about us”… We were STANDING IN FRONNOF HER!!!! OF course we left the place and started looking for a place that actually cares about their clients. This was a TERRIBLE experience.

Go for the veal, not the service

By Justin M |

My wife and I ate at the bar for dinner on a Monday night here. The bartenders were a bit pushy for us and we didn’t get a ton of attention. We split a Caesar salad (the kitchen brought on separate plates which was nice), the meatballs, and the Veal parm. The red sauce was amazing with the meatballs. The bone in veal parm was very good, but they overdid the cheese on top making it almost pizza like, but still good. I’d def try other places before coming back to here, but it’s a solid casual Italian restaurant if in the Venetian.

Great brunch and staff

By conjuror88 |

Recently had Sunday brunch here and was seated right away near the brunch buffet. Coffee is Lavazza of course, they charge $5.00 which is strange the , brunch price $55.- Manager, Fern, professional, is always on top of refilling the stations, checking everything in order and helpful withall queries. Miguel, at carving station also excellent and explains everything. There are no sneeze guards but the stations are high enough to avoid any cross contamination/germs. Nice touch on the kiddie dessert table with mini choc bars, cotton candy and table just right height. Salad station, great, loved the hummus and cuke' tomato salad; shrimp cocktail, etc.. Ordered the lemon-blueberry pancakes, very light a fluffy this one a definite must try. Chick part just average; orecchiette, Hoboken wings, Italian sausage, grilled steak all nice and tasty. Sweet table just average, the mini bundt cake was fine, cannoli would have been better with mascarpone; chocolate and cheesecake just okay. A definite must try.

Bucatini Carbonara!

By RobAndKathy |

My favorite dish is carbonara and Buddy V's does a great version. I always come here when I visit Las Vegas. Service is always good.

WOW! 5-STAR

By Vatche |

Wow! Emily is an asset to Buddy V’s! My good friend and I visited and from the onset she gave us perfect directions on how to reach the restaurant. The food is spectacular! The views are amazing! Make sure to order the Meatballs as an appetizer!

Don't waste your money or time eating here.

By Michele R |

I had read great reviews and was excited to come. My husband and I got seated right away for lunch. No line. Table they sat us at had a wobble issue. You know what I mean, you seat your arms on the table then lift them and table rocks to one side. I noticed right away soap residue on the cups. Not wanting to be difficult but really not wanting to drink soap residue, i tried saying to the waiter there is soap residue on the cup. He just kept pooring the water. I quicklystart trying to use the napkin to clean residue of cup next to me to wipe it out. I explain what I am doing and instead of putting water in it, he walks off withe the cup and leaves me the soap water. Of course at this point my husband takes a drink and says yep their is soap in the cup. Then he asks,"This place had good reviews?" and I say "yes". I assure him they said food was good. We begin with appitizers. He does meat balls and I do the tomatoe soup. Both were really good. Now we are excited for main dish. He had the chicken alfredo and i had chicken parm. Utter disappointment. I shutter to say Olive garden is better. Sad, so sad. The alfredo tasted microwaved from the night before and my chicken parm was over cooked with rubber cheese. Meal gets finished off with a connoli. The inside of the connoli was great. The chocolate fudge sauce to spread on it, wonderful. The pastry crust, is like gramma's dry flavorless pie crust. Worst part the bill was almost $100. Service waiter kept us as an after thought. When he asked how it was and my husband shared he didnt reall care for it. Waiter just turned and walked away. The reason for two stars and not one is because my husband dropped his hotel key card and the manager noticed when walking by us and asked my husband if it was his. That is the biggest reason we still left a $20 dollar tip. I would recommend eating somewhere else on the strip. There are several other really great restaurants that we ate at. Save your money.

Great Steak Sandwich

By Robert M |

Came for our 6:30 reservation and realized I hadn't reset my watch! So, we had the lunch menu which actually worked fine for the first day in Vegas. Had the Steak sandwich which was just an incredibly tasty sandwich. A little spicy, but loved it. The fries that came with it were just awesome! Definitely would recommend for lunch though we were looking for steaks. Great service and pretty empty at 4:30 local time. Pro-tip: change your clock when you land....

Only had a good experience

By FernweHamburg |

We actually can't say anything bad. Friendly reception, waited briefly for the (reserved) table, even got a window seat. The pizza and pasta dishes were very good, and the steak was also tender and cooked to perfection. Dessert was very, very tasty. Service attentive and friendly. The background noise is quite loud, however.

Worst experience ever at a restaurant.

By Michel P |

Really bad! Everything was rushed! Plates were removed while others were still eating. Bread was thrown on the table like the waiter didn’t care at all. The manager (I think) made her apologies but that’s it. Don’t go here : there is nothing special and it’s a waste of money.

Just ok

By Michael N |

Mediocre Italian food. Pretty good meatballs and lasagna Atmosphere was just ok. Fast service. The other apps and entrees were just ok

Pleasant experience

By Saadya |

I’ve been to the bakery a few times but we were there for Backstreet Boys and decided to try the restaurant! It was a pleasant experience! The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty and affordable. I would recommend it and will go back for sure

Excellent service and food

By KelyStalbans |

We reserved a table for our family of five online, and were seated with a view out onto the strip (which was nice given many restaurants in the Venetian don’t have any outside views). Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Great service!

By Alejandra M |

The food was delicious! The service was impeccable. Ruben, the server/server assistant was the most attentive for drinks and refills. And he also offered an appetizer. He was very friendly and outgoing. Would recommend to go again when in Las Vegas.

Delicious and nice homey atmosphere!

By Paradise08393315171 |

Best chicken Alfredo ever! Bread a little dry but dipped oil it was good. Loved the atmosphere and the warm welcome from the server. The he manager stopped by and checked in on us which was a nice touch. Will be back!

The best Italian dinner in Vegas is at Buddy's

By Per B |

Again a super great experience from service through the dinner with great food to die for, we had a 3 course dinner and it was awesome 👍👍

By SBVegasAdventures |

Note: My original review was flagged for being written with AI - that's stupid! I never have and never will submit an AI review. ALL my reviews are written 100% by ME and ONLY ME and I'm proud of that! Here is a condensed version of my original review: Stopped in the other night with a group after making a reservation and they had the table waiting for us. Service from everyone we spoke with was top notch! Food was really good but probably not the best on the strip. For what you get, prices were fair. The little ones felt the Marinara was a bit bland and yes it could have had a bit more zest but was fine for me. Water glasses were refilled regularly, a huge plus for me. I had the Sunday Gravy which had copious amounts of sauce and plenty of meat. Overall, food was yummy and service was great so it was certainly worth the visit!

Best Brunch

By Maureen K |

Best Brunch I have ever been to. Hubs ordered the Jersey Boy omelette which he said was very good. They had several stations one with eggs potatoes bacon and sausage. Bacon had great flavor. We didn't go to the antipasto/soup station. The carvery had the most flavorful ham. And also roast beef and steak. All were good. They had pasta mac n cheese meatballs and chicken parm. I inly had the meatballs. Good flavor but could have been softer. Im and east coast and picky about meatballs. Dessert station had a good variety and bite sized so you could try multiple. The cheese cake was good and the croissant was excellent. Service by Kevin was great. When he found out we had never been there before he walked is around to explain everything. Will def be back. Price was a but high which is the only reason I gave four stars

Buddy you did it again!

By Kevin N |

The first thing that jumps out at you while eating at Buddy V’s is this feeling of family and belonging. The food and staff, from Bryan to Mourad, made every moment a special time for us. Our daughter was in Las Vegas celebrating her Make-a-Wish trip and the experience was so special and memorable . She knew there were only two places she wanted to eat and Buddy’s was one of them and it didn’t disappoint. We even had the opportunity to celebrate her birthday with a special cake from across the restaurant at Buddy’s Carlo’s Bakery. Thank you Buddy for helping to make this experience for our family something that will be remembered for years to come!

Fantastic food!

By Andrea S |

We had lunch at Buddy V’s. The food was excellent and portions were just right. The sauce reminded me of my mother-in-laws; very good!

Great restaurant and Italian food

By Rob0990 |

Fantastic food, just happiness, lasagna is incredible, every time I go to Vegas, I go to this restaurant. Thanks to the waiter, they’re the greatest.

Excellent choice

By Scott B |

Well must say it was our best meal of the week, we were staying at the Wynn and decided to walk down and try Buddy V’s. We were early for dinner since we didn’t have breakfast or lunch…decided to sit at the bar. Jason and Nicole took good care of us with excellent recommendations on food, Salad, chicken parm, and rum drinks hit the spot. We will definitely come back on our next Vegas trip.

Very good

By Loyal traveler |

Very nice restaurant with Vegas view. Staff is also very kind. Vines and food is delicious. I strongly recommend. At Venetian resort.

Don’t ask for different table

By N H |

Waitress has fantastic food was pretty good thanks to the hostess stand for moving me from a mediocre table to the worst table in the whole place - definitely sending me a message about asking for a different table. If they would have explained to me that they were full and my reservation was for a specific table, I would have kept it

Absolutely Amazing!

By Revenue M |

Absolutely mind blown of the quality of food! Buddy has done it yet again and doesn’t disappoint. Appetizers, drinks, entrees and of course dessert. Well worth the spend and highly recommend.

Delicious food and great service

By Dianne S |

Actually, here for lunch and dinner. There pizza, pasta, appetizers, etc etc are all delicious!! Service for lunch was super and Juan at the bar was friendly and fun.

BEST NYC STYLE ITALIAN FOOD IN VEGAS!!! (from a NYER)

By VegasLover16 |

Buddy's is the perfect spot for NYC Italian food. Prices are very reasonable and the food is amazing. Classic dishes like Sunday Gravy, Lasagne, and Caprese salad are the best. Staff was very good but it hurt my NY ears when she said " CALAMAREEE and MARINERA". Clearly not someone from the tri-state. lol. Lost a bit of my soul when that happened, but the food was still incredible. Buddy's is always consistent and always on our Vegas agenda each summer. Plus that Carlo's bakery is literally across the hall. The easiest way to find this place is from the street. If you take the bus down, get off by Venetian/rite aid. Take the escalator up and make a quick left. Much easier than getting lost in the huge Venetian/Palazzo. Also love his new place in the Linq, Boss Cafe that does not get enough credit or promotion. His fresh made pizzas, fresh mutz, focaccia bread and sandwiches are all to die for. He also has a gorgeous case filled with his desserts there as well. * I want to add that I finally tried his chocolate fudge cake from the vending machine in Planet Holllywood. It was delicious!! Fresh, soft and very moist. The trick is giving it time to defrost to room temp before you eat it.

Outstanding! You can’t go wrong at Buddy Vs

By Rosemarie G |

This place is the best!!! I have been to Vegas many times and ALWAYS make a reservation. We are NEVER disappointed. Outstanding service, Amazing food and surprisingly reasonable prices. Huge portions of amazing food. I can’t wait to be back in the area next year to dine there again

A favorite

By j1629 |

Jason at the bar is fantastic. We eat at the bar here every time we come to Vegas. The food is amazing and the portions are massive.

Perfect pre Sphere meal thanks to Josephine

By karen m |

We went here before the sphere. We had a large group and little time and our server Josephine was on it. Our group of 7 enjoyed delicious pasta salad pizza and drinks with time to spare after we told Josephine we were in a bit of a hurry. She was friendly and beyond efficient - even monitoring the arrival of the delicious focaccia bread and dip! It’s better if you reserve well in advance to avoid our rush but when you go ask for Josephine she will make the experience perfect!

Good but overpriced

By Ida M |

A bit loud place, but with cozy and authentic interior. We had pizza, it was alright - nothing super special. We though it was a bit overpriced, both for pizza (over $20) and beer ($12)

Would return

By Jason W |

Reserved a table online and was seated at a great booth with a strip view, service and food was as expected-good/quick. Would return.

Dry

By danidb518 |

We made reservations but seemed like we didn’t need them. We got in line about 15 minutes before they opened and the line went fast once they did open the doors. Had the Sunday buffet - brunch. It was ok. Being Italian, I am hard to please when it comes to Italian food. It was ok. Not excited about anything. When I saw the porketta sandwich, memories flooded me, and oh what a disappointment when the first bite was so dry. The sausage with orecchiette was even dry. Breakfast potatoes and bacon were overcooked. Actually the only thing that I really liked was the lemon pancakes. Desserts weren’t anything overly good, neither. Atmosphere was nice but I wouldn’t go back.

Tasty Italian on the Strip

By Erica K |

We had a great meal at Buddy V’s!! The cocktails were delicious and the food was exactly what we were hoping for. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal. We liked that they offered unique dishes that you don’t find at every other Italian restaurant on the Strip. Definitely order the cheesy garlic bread to start as well. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We would absolutely return!

A hidden gem.

By Nancy G |

What a fabulous meal. Food (Chicken Parm + Arugula salad) was delicious, service was terrific and loved the location. Thank you! for a wonderful meal.

A must visit when in Vegas

By Joe B |

Buddy’s was superb. Staff was very friendly and the food was incredible. Rigatoni alle Vodka was to die for. Our meal was so good that this is the only place that we ate twice while in Vegas. Best Tiramisu I have ever had.

Good food, the rest a flop

By Bia |

We reserved a table for 8:15 p.m. We arrived at exactly that time. First we were greeted in an unfriendly manner and then had to wait almost 20 minutes. Then we were asked if we wanted to wait another 10 minutes or if we wanted to sit at a bad table (quote from the waiter). We had to sit at the bad table because the good table was still not free. We ordered spaghetti carbonara and rigatoni vodka. The food was very good.

Top of the line for overcharging and underdelivering

By wmccfp |

Las Vegas is known for it's excess so we shouldn't be surprised. But we were; the ambiance was ok, the service ok, the food undistinguished. The bill was shocking even by LV standards. The tipoff should have been that most other eating venues in the Venetian complex were jammed at 6 PM on a Saturday evening while Buddy's had plenty of seating available. We were hungry and had a show to go to so we ignored the signs much to the detriment of my wallet.

So Good We Went Twice

By Patty B |

I was worried that this was going to be another just Ok Italian restaurant in LV. I was wrong! We had a nice table with a great server David. I had the best drink called a Cake Boss. We both had pasta, Rigatoni ala Vodka and Spaghetti Pomodoro, both were excellent. Good sauce and quality food. We enjoyed it so much we went another time as well. We would have gone even more if we had more nights to spare for dinner. This place is very busy so be sure to have reservations. We saw so many people turned away because they didn't have one. The bar area is large and just as busy. On our second visit we had meatballs and a pizza to share both great.

Great choice for Las Vegas!!

By Miriam O |

We love it! Large and tasty dishes, they also have an executive menu with starter, main course and dessert, at a super fair price! And the service was also very good!

Being kind - Average

By Ken D |

Very average food I agree with others who compared the quality to that of Olive Garden. I would give it the slight edge over Olive Garden.

Fab food , but slow booking service when you arrive

By livelifetothemax |

Visited here this week, we didn’t make a reservation but we were told there would be a table in an hour, so we said we’ll take it and came back after an hour only to be told you’ll have to wait another half hour.. We did as the reviews on here were pretty good, I got the spaghetti meatballs, best I’d had, hubby got the seafood pasta, both outstanding, we had cheesy garlic bread for starters, oozing of garlic which is what we love.

False Nutella Cake

By Belem T |

It was a very mediocre experience regarding desserts. “The Nutella” cake was nothing else than a frozen fudge brownie and of course it didn’t even taste like Nutella. I come often to Vegas for dining and I will never comeback to this restaurant just for this false advertisement of Nutella dessert. That’s how you lose customers.

A wonderful evening at Buddy's

By steve g |

I am so glad we went here. We were in Las Vegas for my wife's 60th we looked at a few restaurants to celebrate her Birthday meal and after a lot of deliberation we decided to dine at Buddy's as it looked inviting and all the staff we saw were smiling and looked efficient. The food at the tables looked great, the portions looked ample and the prices were very reasonable for the location, so, we walked in and asked for a table on spec. We were greeted by a lovely Maitre' d who was pleasant and accommodating and showed us to a decent table for the four of us. Our waiter Assisi, and the server arrived promptly, offered bread and water while taking the drinks order, they were very courteous and efficient without being dominating. We ordered our drinks and as they arrived our food order was taken. We ordered 2 pizza, 2 pasta dishes and 2 salads which arrived in good time, they were good sized portions and were served with a smile. I particularly want to recommend the Mother in law's Shrimp Linguine and the Carbonara, which were undoubtedly the best Italian pasta dishes I have ever tasted, and i've had a few... Overall our experience was very enjoyable, the service was attentive and efficient, the atmosphere was just right and the food was to die for. One thing I look for in any restaurant experience is happy staff that look like they are enjoying working there, It means they are going to give you the best experience possible and at the end of the day, its all about the FOOD. Would I go there again? Yes, In a heartbeat.

Pre concert dinner

By Lisa L |

We ate at Buddy V’s with another couple before seeing the Eagles at the Sphere. It was a good location for a pre-Sphere concert meal. Our reservation was at 6:00 and we had plenty of time to eat at a leisurely pace, then walk to the concert. Food and service were exceptional. We had 2 appetizers: meatballs and eggplant parm. I had the Chicken Piccata as my entree. It was the best Chicken Piccata I’ve had anywhere. I highly recommend all 3 of these. My husband had the Valastoro Sunday Gravy and loved it, though it was large enough 2 people probably could have shared it, especially if they had appetizers or salads. It was a bit noisy, so hard to hear, though it made for a festive environment. The only negative: I didn’t care for the bread.

OK

By Feverboy73 |

Had high hopes for this based on the reviews but sadly it did disappoint. The cocktails were not very nice at all. I love a cosmopolitan so asked for one. When it came it was quite a bright orange and was overly sweet. We started with the cheesy garlic bread which was delicious. They also brought us some focaccia with oil and balsamic. We ordered Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and Chicken Rigatoni Alla Vodka. Both dishes were ok but I wouldn’t say it was home cooked.

It was fine.

Easy enough to make a reservation after visiting the bake shop just across from the restaurant, which has gone into disarray with the staff and quality of the cake unfortunately. Our waitress at the restaurant was kind. The pizza was okay. It certainly wasn’t bad. However, due to how quiet the restaurant was, we did end up being the final people eating in the restaurant. One male waiter was very eager for us to leave, embarrassingly so, in fact. He kept pacing back and forth to check if we were still eating or would come to the table and say “Still going?” It was very off putting. When he collected our plates, he scooped them up very quickly, whilst speaking to his colleague. He didn’t ask if we enjoyed our meal, he just wanted us out of there. Additionally, whilst we had good seats, the restaurant was cold generally.

Terrible ambiance

By 868kim |

The restaurant I almost ate at. The acoustics were so bad and the level of of noice extremely loud. We decided to avoid a dinner where we could not carry a conversation and afterward be closer to a hearing disorder and went somewhere else despite that we’d been seated.

Sometimes it pays to be slow.

By Bill T |

Very good, super service. I mean I APPRECIATED my meal came as fast as it did, like maybe 5-7 minutes after I ordered, but you know? I just think if I waited a few minutes longer for the EXACT same meal (I ordered the Bucatini Carbonara) I would have appreciated it a bit more.. That way I would be under the impression that it took a wee bit more time to make, you know what I mean? But the table I had was great. Lots of people watching.

Finally true Italian cuisine

By madteo77 |

Although in Las Vegas it is a bit artificial I must admit that this restaurant offers really very good dishes, starting from pizza up to a real Italian pizza. Prices are not very excessive but they are definitely well spent when you are in “withdrawal crisis” of Italian food. Very friendly and fast staff

Buddy V’s was delicious

By Jen |

This was our second time visiting Buddy V’s inside the Venetian and again, it was fabulous! The chicken piccata was flavorful and tender and was served with just the right amount of pasta. I had the cavatelli pesto burrata and it was creamy, delicious and bursting with fresh flavor. My sister’s chicken Marsala was delicious with the perfect balance of mushrooms and Marsala wine. The shining star of our meal was our server Joe and his one assistant who was extremely attentive filling our drinks whenever they were low. The servers and staff treated us like royalty. The bread was also amazing. We will be back! Thanks Buddy!

Always a must in Vegas

By Maps719190 |

We visited during restaurant week they offered a preset menu in addition to the full menu. Our party of 8 most of us opted for the preset menu. The service was great and food was delicious! The meatballs are a must! Excellent Italian food!!!!

Don’t miss out!

Place is awesome. Prices are awesome. Food is awesome. 5 stars any day. The atmosphere is really intimate and the views are awesome.

Nice Evening, Some Flaws

By Joe C |

Our first-time visiting Buddy V’s, the restaurant is slightly hidden away from the main canals shoppes at the Venetian, so can be a little difficult to find – but it is a large restaurant when you do find it, nicely decorated with open plan kitchen and dim lighting, which we liked, but may not be to others tastes. We were promptly seated by a huge window overlooking the Vegas strip, pretty impressive. Our server was prompt and friendly and we opted for the Lasagne and Chicken Parm, along with some really nice complimentary bread and olive oil/balsamic – freshly prepared at the table. The food was of a good portion size, but sadly the Chicken Parm was mostly cold which our server and the manager very quickly fixed for us and provided us great service to apologise. The lasagne was super tasty, but we did need to ask for some extra marinara sauce as it was quite dry without. Overall, really nice food and good service, good atmosphere and great views. Based on this we would recommend.

Over Priced Celebrity Joint

I ordered the Bransino ... It wasn't bad but it wasn't over $30.00 good ... It is very expensive for the portions ... Our waitress was fine but the gentleman that really helped us was fantastic ... very very attentive to all our needs.

Delicious italian food!

By Reaca H |

Ran into this place last time and we had just eaten, so we made a point of visiting on this visit. So glad we did, because it was so delicious! None of us could finish our meals, but we didn't want to stop eating either. Our waiter seemed to be miserable, but all the other employees were very cheerful and helpful. Definitely recommend stopping here!

Food is Amazing, coming back for the entertainment!

By Xdancer8312 |

This is a long overdue review, but it is well deserved! The food was amazing and customer service from our sever was wonderful however, the main reason that I will be back in March a year later is for the entertainer Nicholas. Upon arriving a few minutes late for my mother’s birthday as she is handicapped and the taxi cab driver dropped us off on the complete opposite side and trying to call with no answer to let them know, the host at the front was not understanding and she did not try to accommodate us at all. Nicholas walked by at that time and could see our disappointment( as this is all she could talk about wanting to go while in Vegas) and he went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He sat us near him and sang to my mother. THIS meant everything to her! It’s moments and memories like this that will stay with you forever. Thank you Nicholas and I’ll see you soon for my Birthday!

Amazing experience

Great Lunch!

By ivytravel |

Great lunch at Buddy V's. Loved those meatballs and great pizza. Had a nice small ensemble playing music on a Sunday afternoon. Joana was attentive and efficient in taking care of us and providing excellent recommendations on wine and food.
