Great BBQ joint. The price was right and the dry rub and sauce were very good. They do have problems with pan handlers in this area and if you eat outside they will approach and attempt to get money. The manager did watch for it though and would have them move on. If your in the area and looking for ribs give it a try

Definitely will be coming back!! Great food, great atmosphere and did I mention great food!! Amazing BBQ!!

We eat here every time we come down to Atlanta to attend baseball games at Turner. They food is amazing! Love the BBQ and their wings. The hot wings, you're warned are super hot; they're really not bad, the so have an after kick. Fun atmosphere and sell beer by the buckets.

I would love to give the place a good review but I could not. 30% of my ribs or just too chard to eat. Or $14.99 . I had hoped to have a third of a slab in good condition. Also I had to ask them to redo the receipt three times because they kept adding extras. Lots of televisions and this place. Close to the stadium for basketball in Atlanta.

The food was delicious, ribs fell off the bones, brisket was super good! Not horribly priced. My husband saved some ribs, not expecting them to last the night. =) walked from our hotel, awesome sauce.

Poorest cut of meat for their ribs ever. So disappointed. Don't spend any time or money here. This place is sure to close when Turner Field does.

This is somewhat of a sports bar. The Bar BQ wasn't too bad. You order your food at the counter and sit a a table then pick it up when it is ready. Prices are good, not too expensive. About $7 for a sandwich and fries.

Worth going out of your way, the Bullpen Rib House is right across the street from Turner Field. This sports bar/rib house is pretty basic, yet large enough to accommodate the after game crowds. Order at the counter from a straight forward BBQ menu and wait for your pager to beckon you to slow smoked , perfectly cooked heaven. Everything we have had has been excellent, from the pulled pork sandwiches to the chicken to the ribs- meaty, tender, slow cooked perfection. The sauce choices are amazing and include hot, sweet and a Carolina mustard based concoction, all an original take on tried and true recipes. Tonight we had the rib tips in a spicy sauce and I'm not sure I wasn't having an out of body experience.the prices are reasonable, the portions are large and the sides are all a great accompaniment to all. Beer and some drinks are also available and there are a dozen or so TV'S around the large room to satisfy any game needs. All said, this is an excellent place to spend some time with friends, knock back a few cold ones and eat some of the best BBQ around.

We arrived in Atlanta on Sunday evening, and we're glad to find somewhere close by, recommended by the motel. I guess we didn't see it at its best: it's a big location, which could accommodate 200 people. We were the only 2 customers, so it was an unwelcoming location. The staff were uninterested, the food below average, and the whole visit was something to put in the "you can't win them all" box. Find somewhere else.

We were staying in a nearby motel and had just driven back from Macon and thought we would pop in for a light bite. They do not do light bites . The portions were large and much to my surprise the ribs were excellent. service was pretty good too.

We recommend the BBQ chicken and smoked turkey pit plates. Very generous servings and tasty sides to choose from. Friendly, helpful servers..

I ordered chopped chicken, baked beans and potato salad. The food contained so much sauce that I couldn't even recognize it and it was so sweet that I couldn't believe I was really having beans and potatoes.I only finished my chicken but I was unable to eat the rest.

Some of the best beef ribs I think I've had. The lemon pepper wings, coleslaw and pulled pork were awesome, but the corn bread wasn't all that.

Awesome food, I like the way that they dont mix the bbq with too much side and you have the chance of choosing your sauce as side. The rib was perfect and tender but the turkey was OK not a top notch one but still a nice place which I will get there back for other visits of ATL

Wife and I came here around noon today (Tuesday Feb. 16 in the eternal year of our Covid 2021). Parking was easy as they have a large parking lot attached to the restaurant with at least 20 spaces. Only a few customers inside so we put our anti-covid-superpandemic-eradicater masks on and went straight up to the counter to order. Menu is typical BBQ joint, with full menu of goodies - pulled pork, brisket, chopped chicken, cole slaw, baked beans, etc. My wife ordered the spare rib plate with green beans and Brunswick stew, also comes with cornbread. Ribs were a little dry but tasty - they come without sauce, you add the sauce, the stew was excellent and the green beans are the flat kind, but had a nice smoky flavor to them, a little underseasoned but still good. Cornbread was sweet, and moist not dry (I had to use the word MOIST - say it with me..."moist"...see don't you feel better after saying MOIST more than once today? You're welcome). I had the chopped chicken plate with potato salad and coleslaw as my sides. Chopped chicken was a little underflavored and not enough sauce, so I added some of their sweet sauce later, so that turned out better. I like coleslaw on my BBQ samminch - yes I said samminch. SLAWBQ! The slaw was pretty good, a little more mayo and couple degrees colder would have been perfect but it was good. The only thing I didn't enjoy at first was the potato salad - I guess pandemics make people stop putting mustard in potato salad. I'm pretty picky about my tater-salad, and this was a letdown as it was probably made with mayo/sourcream/dill...not very southern (where's the MUSTARD?) so what I did was I went over to the sauce counter and got some of their "Carolina mustard" BBQ sauce and put that in the potato salad and Bingo it was better. For my drink I had the unsweet tea with lemonade because yeah, tea and BBQ. They do have beer by the bottle but I was driving and didn't want to get a DUI and miss any of the wonderful goings-on in the world right now (lawdy I might have missed something as spectacular as that last superbowl halftime show)! So if you are: 1. Looking for decent BBQ close to downtown 2. A BBQ place to "dine in" 3. A place to park at a BBQ joint without paying $20 to park 4. A no frills place where you won't get the evil-eye for eating without a mask on (yes masks are required to enter but you can take them off to eat, instead of eating by osmosis like many places expect you to lately) 5. Plenty of elbow room in the dining area 6. Good basic counter-service and fast food service ...then this is your joint. Definitely recommend and will be back, with mustard in hand.

Was in town for PGA tour championship, and was staying near this location. Didn't look like much on the outside, but when looking for BBQ, it's the shacks that produce some of the best, and this place fit the bill. Decor was lacking, mixed match tables and chairs, bare walls and a lot of TV's. You order at the counter, there is a sign as you walk in that explains what to do. The girl behind the counter was very pleasant and courteous. She explained she was new and still training. Then the manager Kevin appeared and welcomed me in, and watched over his trainee. Menu had all the items you would expect. Pulled Pork, chicken, Ribs, beef brisket and smoked turkey as well as sausage. Regular sports bar food as well like wings, burgers and chicken tenders. I asked for recommendations, was told to try a Rib combo, being my first time, this would give me a sample of a few items. I ordered the rib and brisket combo with coleslaw. THe food came out quickly and was some of the best BBQ I've had. The Ribs were spare ribs, meaty and not over powering on the smoke factor, the brisket was the best brisket I've had, and I live on Texas so that says a lot. Coleslaw was crisp, little sweet with that vinegar bite to it, just perfect addition to the meal. Kevin the manager stopped by and asked how everything was, I asked about how they make such good BBQ and he was obviously very knowledgeable and knew his stuff. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend this place, and will be eating here again tomorrow.

Food was good, but have had better, not a bad terrible place, clean, friendly staff, close to the hotel

Long line. Very hot inside. Shrimp was fantastic. Fries were cold. Looked pretty run down. Friendly staff. Large beer selection.

We came in from out of town and we're starving. It was in the same parking lot as our hotel. It was nearly closing time but the manager made us feel like we were the first customers of the day. We asked questions about the food and he gave us great info even let us sample some things. The food was even better than the top level service. Some the best ribs and brisket I've ever had. The bbq was great without sauce but the sauce elevated it to an even higher level. The sides all homemade were perfect. We are in town three days and will eat here again as well as tell all our friends they have to come here. Make the visit it is even better than advertised.

Stayed just down the street at the Grant Park Hotel and they had a flyer/menu at desk. Since there wasn't much else in the area we decided to give it a try. We just ordered take out to take back to the hotel. The pulled pork sandwich I ordered did not taste right and wondered if I should even eat it (I did and didn't get sick). My wife had the chicken salad which she enjoyed although the few pieces of chicken I tried were pretty tasteless.

My favorite bbq place was under renovations, and I did a search for BBQ while I was coming into downton, and it gave me the Bullpen Rib House as the closest to me at the time. What a Pleasant Surprise! I ordered the Brisket and Ribs Combo, and was really excited to have some proper brisket and ribs, with the brisket being tender and smoked and the ribs almost falling off the bones. The best surprise was the Carolina Mustard bbq sauce that I loved when I was in college, and it's familiar twang that gives ribs a little needed kick. P.S. TRY TO AVOID BRAVES GAME DAYS...You have been warned!

Paula and I stopped here for dinner. It's a Friday night and the place is empty at 6:30 pm. Perhaps it was busier earlier. This establishment is located across the street from Turner Field and I'm sure during baseball season this place must be the place to go for dinner before or after the game. Now on with the review. Paula and I both ordered platter meals which came with two sides and corn bread. Paula had the pulled pork with French fries and coleslaw. I had the ribs with Mac and cheese and green beans. Paula enjoyed her meal throughly. I thought her pulled pork and fries were excellent. The coleslaw, like my green beans, had a strong vinegar overtone that I didn't particularly care for. My ribs - nicely rubbed and smoked - were nice and meaty, and fell off the bone. My mac and cheese, in spite of the rave reviews from others, was just ok. I guess I was hoping for something spectacular instead of just ok. Paula had a mixed drink and I had a local and excellent IPA with my meal. The place has a very friendly staff, plenty of televisions for watching all kinds of sports, and some really good bar-b-que. it's good for families, groups, or if you want, you can sit alone at the bar. I wouldn't call it inexpensive, it was $40.50 for the two of us without tip, but it was a solid filling meal. We would go back again. I would skip the Mac and cheese and the green beans and order two French fries or ask for extra corn bread instead.

We went to lunch and I received my food in like 10 minutes. I had the BBQ Pulled Pork with potato salad and green beans. The pork was delicious, and the green beans were nice and green and tender, cooked with bacon. I would recommend this restaurant.

The Bullpen, what a great lunch! Where are all the people? Where in or outside Atlanta can you have lunch/drink for under $10.00! See the picture, the service and food are excellent. This is a hidden gem- the smell of the pork cooking and the atmosphere. If you have not tried the bullpen now is the time! They even have room for parties and events-sport team and alumni heaven!!

Went by bullpen before a Braves game. My husband and I decided to order a full rack of ribs but could only eat half of them. They were great but too big for us to eat. They offer several types of bar b q sauce. We tried them all and liked all of them. We mixed the Carolina yellow with the spicy and that was the best. Definitely try this place.

This is a great barbecue restaurant near the Braves stadium and great coleslaw as well convenient to downtown. Definitely give this place a try

We ate here before a Braves game because we were staying right next door. Pulled pork was just ok. Nothing to write home about. Chicken was just ok,too. I wouldn't make a special trip to eat here.

We stopped in Atlanta and had initially planned to go to The Hard Rock Cafe. Unfortunately, we arrived later than anticipated and were too tired to go back downtown (we were staying by Turner Field) so we went next door to Bullpen. I'm a vegetarian, so I was very concerned about the menu, especially since the menu in our hotel room showed the food on paper plates. I was pleasantly surprised though and ordered a chicken tender sandwhich with the tenders on the side (my husband ate those.) the sandwhich was good, the macaroni and cheese was not my favorite. The fries were good. The honey mustard sauce was delicious. My husband and two sons loved the chicken tenders. The cashier was very friendly and even though I was exhausted while ordering and ended up confusing myself, she was very patient and understanding. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to eat here, but if I were back on this side of town I would visit again.

We stayed at the hotel right next door. We stopped in to get some food and it was awesome. Great food and a really good beer selection.

The food had flavor and I will definitely be back. It is right next to Turner Field and is perfect to hit before a Braves game.

If you are looking for some fashionable restaurant, dont go here. If you are looking for some really good ribs which are also cheap and you don't mind eating with plastic forks, this is THE PLACE to go. Awesome!

Popped in one evening for a take out as they were right next door to the hotel we were staying in. Food was really nice oh and so much of it! Best ribs I have ever had. Really meaty and lots of flavour. Plenty of left overs for later too!

This place was right next to our hotel and was recommended by the lady at the desk. Really good pulled pork and ribs!! Fries were good, cornbread awesome. Green beans were good too but had a spice to them š. We thought so much of it the first time that we went back the next night too!

Large restaurant with seating for groups and outside seating. TVs everywhere with all kinds of sports. You order at counter, get a pager and when it says "Your order is ready" you pick it up. You don't have to remove empty plates though----they do that. Mostly a "Do it yourself" restaurant. Kitchen looked clean. At least what I could see. Food comes in mostly styrofoam and it is pretty good. I had BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich with Baked Beans. Sandwich was huge. Beans had kidney beans in them. Unusually but tasty. My husband had side salad with grilled chicken. He said it was good. Salad was served in plastic biwl. They use dispensers for plastic flatware. They have several choices of barbeque sauce, mayo, mustard etc. Their original sweet sauce is good. They need a major infusion of capital to spruce-up the place. The appearance is not very appealing. Booths have graffiti, and table coverings torn. Front of the place needs a paint job. When I got close I was not sure I wanted to come in, but we were at nearby hotel and didn't want to drive anywhere. Good food though.

Had a craving for some good brisket, wasnt disappointed. No frills setting but friendly service and the food was great, with good sides and decent, if not the enormous portions you get in some BBQ places. Would definitely head back if in town again, recommended

This is a typical BBQ restaurant serving pork, chicken, ribs, wings, etc. in a variety of modes .. plates, sandwiches, salads. Offering room delivery as well. Order food at the counter. Buzzer will alert you when the food is ready .. pick up food at the counter.

This restaurant was very conveniently located to our hotel (Grant Park Hotel) and since we could walk (even with out two year old in tow) we took a chance. Let me start by saying we are from Memphis, so we consider ourselves Barbeque snobs! No one on the planet does Barbeque better than the city of Memphis. With that being said, the food was fair at best! The sauce was the best thing about the food, but more of a vinegar taste than I prefer. The ribs were lack luster, they just had no real flavor. Not sure how they cook them but my husband and I were not fans. My two year old did love the Mac&cheese. My mother thought the brisket sandwich was great, along with the potato salad! The beer selection is pretty good... We liked that! The atmosphere is ok but it could use some TLC. All in all it was a descent experience, but don't go for the food. Go for convenience and the beer!

Comfortable & delicious in every way! Arrived 3 hours before an event at the Stadium, service was great, beers were cold, food was excellent! Get the collard greens - outstanding! & all the sauces!? Wish I was closer NOW! Just perfect.

We stopped in after driving to Atlanta and checking in at the hotel next door. Unfortunately they were sold out of ribs - the Braves had played at home earlier that day - so had wings and brisket. Both were great. Cashier at the front desk was helpful, talked us through the menu as it was our first time. Food is served on trays and drinks in polystyrene cups but the taste more than makes up for that.

Stopped in for lunch on our way through Atlanta. One word: delicious! The chicken sandwich I had was tender and tasty and my friendās pulled pork sandwich was fantastic. An excellent drink selection as well helped āhit the spot.ā The decor was nice, tvās with sports on and it was nice and cool on a hot day. Iām definitely going back next time in the ATL!

I went to the Bullpen Rib House and had dinner. The potion was huge the price was good, food was hot and well prepared. I really enjoyed this place, I was surprise. Everybody can't do ribs, they think they can. Bullpen did a superb job. Great ribs Kevin.

Everytime we stay at the Country inn and Suites Atlanta downtown we eat at this restaurant. The atmosphere is great and the food is always good. The restaurant is right next door and is convenient.

We called order in from hotel next door. Still had to wait over 30 minutes while in restaurant to pick up to go order. This was after waiting 30 minutes before we walked over. The pork was good. The brisket was not. Brisket really fatty and had unusual flavor that I have not recognized before in smoked meats. Husband and I own a pellet smoker so we smoke our own meat often. Anything from Brisket, Whole chickens, pork butts, and turkey breasts They had sold out of the smoked chicken. I wish I had just ordered a huge amount of their cornbread 'cause it was fab!

Took a stab at a bbq place while in Atlanta. Easy to get to, great hospitality. And awesome food! If there is a group do yourselves a favor, each person order something different and try a little from each other. I was not let down by any of the foods we tried! And this is a great place to pregame before or after a braves game as the stadium towers over the front of the restaurant.

Appreciate that they are open late. Tried the brisket and it was just fine. Collards and Mac and cheese were okay. Drink prices decent. Liked the Carolina mustard sauce.

Service was the best!, food was all good!, big portions, brisket, ribs, corn bread were one of the best I've tried!.

Walk in, grab a menu and order at counter. Takes a bit to make your order, so plenty of time to get a great iced tea, utensils & get seated. Melt in your mouth pulled pork plate comes already sauced with sweet yet great understated piquant. Unique spice and smoke combo is just right. Cole slaw is fresh and just on the sweet side. Brunswick stew: can use a fork with this tomato-y, sweet and spicy melange. Baked beans are average but 3 bean affair. Great soul soundtrack to dine by The cornbread: would come here for these moist, light and generous slices.

Staying at grant Park hotel so thought we would try the bullpen. Service not the friendliest the server even asked me to go put menus back. The place was empty for a Friday night maybe three tables I guess with Turner fields closing think this place will follow suit. I had chicken salad the chicken tasted awful and the salad was 90 percent lettuce got side of coleslaw which tasted strange. My daughter got side of baked beans which had kidney beans and a bay leaf in a weird sauce. Maybe cos we are used to things tasting different in the UK. Very disappointed with this visit won't be back again. Everything on paper plates and plastic cutlery.

Great family atmosphere with a big menu. BBQ, ribs, salads, sandwiches. Great Brunswick stew and crazy good Brisket chili. Cornbread is the best. The many, many TVs cover all the sports you can watch. Great music and a released easy place to hang out. Plenty of space to meet the family.

You can feel the legacy. Brisket is amazing and the rubs are huge. My favorite was the sweet bbq sauce.

We were in ATL to visit family and go to Tour Championship (pro golf tournament with free parking at Turner Field). We stayed across the street from stadium, next to Bullpen. Thought we would just have drinks, but the bbq smelled really good. I had pulled pork salad - expected lots of lettuce and small portion of bbq. In reality: big portion of delicious bbq - enough for me for a couple more meals. Husband had brisket that was great, too. Really pleasant server.

Here after the a Braves game (rained out) and surpisingly not too crowded. Smells are great when you enter and taste better in your mouth. Sauce in very very good. Several to choose from, all complimentary. Smoked and sliced sausage sandwich is great. The coleslaw was a little plain for me. Also wanted to try the moonshine...no too bad. Expected stonger though. Quick service and after a game pretty much the only place to walk too...and worth it. oh ya get a bowl of brunswick stew...you'll love it!

This was my favor place to get ribs. Have not been there in about 3 months . Went today and was very, very disappointed. Not sure if under new owner and management it was not good. Ribs, bake beans, and coleslaw not good. Will not be going back.

Did not initially intend on leaving any reviews, but felt compelled to after the manager/owner's request... Went in for a take out and the place appeared to be a bit chaotic due to their renovation of the bar section when they should REALLY focus more on food quality. The pricing was very affordable, but you will find out why: BBQ gave off a weird smell and was inedible. Potato salad looked like a soup from too much mayonnaise. Ribs were dry without any flavor. Only thing I was able to eat was the brisket. Would not be surprised if the establishment closes within a few months unless they revamp everything especially when there are countless BBQ restaurants with stellar reputation within the same area.

Looked good from the outside and with a bit of TLC could be a great place. Tables were a bit sticky and the fries salty but the beer was good.

Excellent food and a great atmosphere. This place is a must before and after the games. The staff was very friendly.

I come here periodically for lunch during work hours, since it's convenient to the Interstate and is reasonably priced. I pretty much always get the lunch special with the beef brisket sandwich, fries, and a drink for $6.99. The same combo is $12 at another place closer to the office and not even as good. The brisket has always been very flavorful and has a great char, which I really like. The fries are usually crisp and well-seasoned. I wish they would add Coke Zero to their fountain, but I'll settle for Diet Coke. The maintenance of the building occasionally leaves a bit to be desired, but it's usually not an issue. I'm surprised it's not busier than it is with as close as it is to downtown, so I'm a bit worried about what's going to happen now that the Braves are done at Turner Field. Hopefully, they'll stick around, because I'll certainly be glad to come back.

This is right next to our hotel, and next to Turner Field. Great place for sport loving people. Looks small from the outside, but larger inside. People were friendly, and establishment was clean. Food was really good too.

We've wanted to try this for a long time, since we've been going to Brave's games. Game day is too crowded for us so we waited. Lazy Sunday afternoon, and we walked right in, ordered, then had a seat. Worth the wait! Ribs were great! (Almost as good as my own!) Sauces were good, and good Cole slaw. My son had great lemon pepper wings.

First time here. Our crew was working nearby. Large, ample parking. Restaurant has inside and outside dining. Very friendly hostess/waitress. Very friendly staff. Very good main meat selections and sides.

Was staying at the town and country at turner field. Walked next door and tried this place. Meat and sauces where good. The sides where ok, nothing special. Ribs where big and real meaty. Would order meats their again and get it to go.

Great food at a reasonable price. You order at counter and they bring to your table. Very large, comfortable resturant with plenty of sporting events on TV's.

Food was good, but ther was no other sauce that wasn't FULL of pepper. Way too spicy. There was a bucket in the middle f the floor for a leaky roof. The corn brad was cold and tasted old. My husband ate ribs and he said they were good. I can see hat place packing up with it being across the street from the baseball stadium. This restraint is in the middle of nowhere and after dark, I wouldn't feel safe walking outside.

I'm not normally one to leave reviews but thought our dining experience was worth sharing seeing as half of our party is now in the bathroom regretting the meal. Great location just next to our hotel and after seeing positive comments on trip advisor decided to give it a go. We ordered our meals and they came within 5 minutes but what we saw made us a bit uneasy. The ribs were dry and grissly like they had been sitting there for days and I couldn't confirm whether the bbq chicken was even chicken as it looked and smelt of tuna. What really disturbed me was the side of green beans they were in a pale liquid with bits of pulled meat and Mac and cheese pasta throughout. Like the one utensil had been used for everything. The bread was stale. To cap it all off after waiting 15 minutes our beers still hadn't arrived. This wasn't a problem however after asking the man behind the bar (manager we think) he repeatedly told us to get to the back of the line and wait our turn even though we had already ordered and paid for them. I don't think I need to say more. Maybe they were Having an off night - there was a baseball match on so I guess that could have been busy earlier on? Who knows but in my experience avoid at all costs. We have enjoyed many great meals on our trip to the states but this has got to be the worst!

I ordered the chicken on a bun with fries. Food was OK (it was closing time so that might have something to do with it). Served on a paper plate with no utensils was a bit odd. Some guys were trying to get "to go" containers was could not find anyone in the restaurant. Limited selection of beer in bottles, but they were cold....

Stayed at hotel next to Bullpen Ribs and across from Turner Field. Basically a sports bar and you order at the counter. No wait staff, but those who were there are friendly and helpful. Ribs and pulled pork were good. Came dry and there were several different sauces to use.

Our dinner was definitely very good. We enjoyed a good meal, a great drink and although there weren't too many people there on a Sunday afternoon, the service was excellent.

We were less than impressed with our meal I had the pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese, my husband had the ribs and pulled pork plate. The BBQ sauce was watery and did not have a BBQ taste. The best part of the meal was his French fries that appeared to be frozen out of a bag. Sandwich was a little pricey to be so plain.

Been dining here every Atlanta visit. We've had everything on the menu and nothing disappoints. I'm partial to ribs and brisket so the plates are perfect. They even stayed open late one night so we could finish our meals!

It was average at best. We had the pulled pork which was nothing special. Wouldn't eat there again. Will say the service was good

Our family of three recently went to Atlanta and while there went to a Braves game. We all love barbque so while searching trip advisor for places we found the Bullpen. What a stroke of luck! Not only is the food good, reasonable in price and quickly served; when you're done you walk across the street to Turner Field. I easily recommend this place even if you're not going to a game because the food is good. But if you are going to a game you'd be crazy to eat anyplace else!

This place is soooo good. The staff is friendly, wait was short for a Saturday night, and the food was great. I will be eating here again. The have a great menu to choose from. I got the pulled pork sandwhich and it was outstanding.

Food is good - If you are wanting Baked Beans don't get them here- they are more like mixed beans. Had BBQ before the game and wings afterward. All were good and a great atmosphere sitting outside people watching

The review tells you the short version. Detailed version below. We got there around 5:00pm before a Braves game. You would think they would have extra staff working because of the game. We had to clean our own table since every table had plates and glasses covering them. Signs around the place said to leave your stuff on the tables and they will bus them. After cleaning our own table, we order. I was not given a receipt, which was mistake number one. When my number was finally called, they gave me the wrong order. I explained this was not what I ordered but was told they wouldn't give me other food unless I had a receipt. I explained I didn't have one because I wasn't given one at the register but that didn't matter. At this point, I'm highly upset but there is no where else to go since the game is going to be starting soon. I stood in line AGAIN and got something small. I make sure I get a receipt this time. I arrive back at my table with my group and the empty table next to us is overflowing with empty plates, trays, etc. They have now piled onto the floor. The trash cans are overflowing. There is literally no where to put this garbage. We informed someone working there, several times, but nothing was done. When someone did finally come over, the fine gentlemen processed to use profanity, very loudly. He was using it so much and so loud that a manager had to come over and talk to him. He had to tell him to calm down and he could not talk like this while there were customers around. The whole experience was terrible. I would not ever recommend this place to anyone. Again, the short version, Bad Food. Bad Service. Rude Wait Staff.

This place looked dead from the outside but we decided to give it a try anyway. Ordered a full rack, Mac n cheese, and the potato salad for my husband and I to split. Total was about $20. I didn't realize how much food a whole rack was but this was a ton of food and we had left overs to take back to the hotel. Everything we ate was absolutely DELICIOUS!! I couldn't decide what to take a bite of next. Haha. I can imagine this is a happening place before and after sporting events!

Coming into this place, I had fairly high expectations. We were staying at the hotel next door, and several local hotel staff members recommended this restaurant, which immediately set a higher standard in my mind. When we arrived, however, there was only one car in the parking lotāand it was leaving. There were no customers inside the restaurant at all, which initially raised some concerns, but we decided to give it a chance anyway. We walked up to the counter, and the employee on duty greeted us and began assisting with our order. One person in our group was asking questions, and during that process, the employee repeatedly walked away toward the back of the kitchen while continuing to talk to us instead of staying present and focused on taking the order. This made the interaction feel disjointed and somewhat unprofessional. Eventually, he returned and began helping us more consistently, but the initial impression of the customer service was already not great. I ordered several items: smoked buffalo chicken wings with fries and blue cheese, fried okra, and a fish sandwich. This is where the experience took a turnābecause while the service left something to be desired, most of the food was actually very good. The fries could have been slightly crispier, but they were well seasoned, lightly crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside, which still made them enjoyable. The smoked buffalo wings were very flavorful and well prepared, though they were on the smaller side. The fried okra stood out the mostāit was perfectly crispy, well seasoned, and cooked to a great al dente texture. The fish sandwich was the one item that fell a bit short. I am not sure whether it was because I ate it later than the rest of the food or if it was simply undercooked, but it lacked the crispiness I was expecting. The seasoning and breading tasted good, but the texture just wasnāt there. I also ordered a cookie, which unfortunately was extremely hard. That would be the one item I would not order again. Would I come back for the food? Yesābecause overall, the food quality was significantly better than expected. Would I come back for the customer service? No. That disconnect is the main reason my rating for this restaurant is what it is. The food and the service are not operating at the same level, with one clearly outperforming the other. One thing I did notice was that once we mentioned we were staying at the hotel next door, the employeeās attitude noticeably improved, as his wife apparently works there. While that was interesting, customer service should be consistent regardless of where guests are staying. If I ever return, I would want to visit during a much busier time to see how they operate under pressure and whether the food quality remains consistent. I would also likely try different menu items. Overall, I would recommend this place cautiouslyāfor the food, or at least certain itemsābut with the understanding that the customer service may not meet the same standard. Hopefully, this was just an off day, but based on this visit, the service is not something I would confidently recommend.

its the only place within walking distance of the Country Inn. Excellent coca cola. Third world atmosphere. Paper plates, plastic knives and forks.

My husband & I stopped in around 9 pm on a Friday night while a baseball game was going on. Food was pretty good, ribs were a bit overdone, chopped chicken good, Cole slaw and corn bread were great. Drinks were excellent.

Greens were good, Mac and cheese was super dry. Ribs were tough. Brunswick Stew was horrible. Fries were good and corn bread was good. I like the spot and brought two others with me. Bring back the old cook.

This was an amazing find. Our group had many different menu items. Including ribs, brisket, chicken etc. everyone loved it. This included our three kids. Brisket fell apart like butter. The Carolina mustard sauce was on point. I wish I had a place like this back home. So delicious.

Stopped in before the Braves game on 8/20/16. The food was excellent. I got a pulled pork platter & my brother had a 3rd rack of ribs. We were both very happy with the food. The only problem we had was finding a cleared table. We understand it was extra busy before a game but there should have been someone on the floor to clear tables.

The service was quick, and friendly. The food was great! Also the lemon pepper wings were excellent. Definitely a good place to eat.

We were staying close by and didn't feel like hunting down dinner, and our hotel had menu in the lobby, so we gave it a try. There was something for everyone, wings for my youngest, a burger for middle son, ribs for the hubby! I had the beef brisket sandwich and it had such great flavor, and the beef was nice and tender, not dry, not chewy. Both boys enjoyed their food, and even remarked that it was some of the best they ever had. My husband was a little disappointed that the ribs were spare and not baby back, and rubbed not sauced, but that's a preference thing, and he still enjoyed them. Oh yeah, the mac and cheese is pretty good too!

We walked next door from the Country Inns and Suites before a Braves Game. I had pulled pork and husband had the brisket. Food was good and very affordable. I am glad I had read the previous reviews about ordering at the window and getting the pager when you food was ready. Service was fast and with a smile!

Right next to turner field perfect for before the game beers and wings! Food was good staff was helpful! I'll be back! Brisket was good wings were great!

If you stay at Country Inn at Turner Field this is basically your room service. The food was good and prices were good too.

After the Friday night Braves game we stopped here for a beer and a bite. They weren't too busy. Plenty of inside and outside seating. This restaurant appeared to have been here a while. The patio was run down and the cosmetics of the building have been through a lot-it seemed. Also, the menus were greasy and had food on them. Once you walk inside you grab a menu, decide and place your order up at the counter. Then you sit down with pager. We sat outside and enjoyed the cool air. The beer was inexpensive in comparison to the ball park. We ordered a bbq pork sandwich and a bowl of Brunswick stew. The food came out rather quick and it was served hot. I would come back again and eat here another time. It was overall a good experience, the food was par and flavorful.

Located close to Grant Park Hotel. We got the barbeque plate. The barbeque beans were delicious. Barbeque was just OK. Service was good. Looked more lke a dive.

This place doesn't look like much from the outside or even on the inside. BUT THE FOOD IS TO DIE FOR. This place gives you real southern comfort food. The ribs fell of of the bone. The baked beans were amazing and the cornbread was sinfully wonderful.

The title sums it up. We ate here June 10-11 because we were in town for the Cubs-Braves series at Turner Field across the street and stayed at the Country Inn and Suites next door. Everything is within walking distance and we're all about convenience. The Bullpen offers delicious barbecue, ribs, burgers and the usual sports bar items. You walk up to the counter after scanning the menu and place your order. Your beeper buzzes, you pick up your tray, and enjoy tasty and inexpensive food. Beer and mixed drinks are also available along with soft drinks. Nothing fancy, but good food at cheap prices. Oh yes, a dozen plus TV screens positioned all around the dining area for easy viewing of whichever sport you're interested in. During our visit, we watched MLB baseball, college baseball, soccer, and Game 4 of the NBA championship series

That's all I can say. Bought a pound of brisket, quart of mac and cheese and slaw for a football game and DAMN, it was the best stuff ever (disclaimer-outside of NC of course)

We stayed in the hotel next door. This place was okay the pulled pork was great but I personally didn't like the baked beans but it was okay I just switched with my hubby who did like them. It was late so it was kinda quiet. I might visit it again

Going to Turner Field and stopped of before the game. The Bullpen is a great place to relax and grab a meal before the game at a great price.

This is a great place to eat if you are staying close to Turner field. We eat here at least once every trip. Be sure to try the Ribs!

Dry-rub bar-b-que and salads at a reasonable price. Good sized portions. Within walking distance of the Grant Park Hotel and Country Inn and Suites on Pollard Blvd SW. Across from Turner Field (Braves baseball statium).

The half slab of ribs was massive and more than the two of us could get through. Good, spicy rub. Plenty of sauces to chose from. The spicy BBQ sauce wad nicely hot and complemented the Louisiana chilis from the jar. TVs everywhere. Very quiet on the Sunday night we visited so the atmosphere we expected was missing

This place was next to our hotel and so handy. It was pretty dead for while we were there, but still worth the stop. We ordered a bbq brisket and bbq pork. Both were tasty, fresh, and tender. Each came with a side; the ff were more than generous, but the cole slaw was the vinegar type rather than a creamy type. I prefer the creamy slaw. Overall it was good and generous meals.

Fast friendly service. Very good ribs and shrimp. Good selection of local Georgia beers. Very convenient for hotel I stayed at.

My coworkers and i stayed at the country inn and suites next door and eatin there almost every night. Great food with many choices. If you dont want their amazing ribs they have great salads and always have multiple sports events on display with their large array of televisions. Definitely a place to go.

If you don't want to hassle with tailgating, Bullpen is a good choice. A co-worker and I met here before a game recently. I ordered a pork sandwich and green beans as my side. As an appetizer, we included 12 wings medium, buffalo style. Of course you have to have a bucket of beer iced down perfectly. Everything was good. Great place. I'll be back.

Across from Turner field - the dry rub ribs were excellent. Sauces, baked beans, green beans and cole slaw were over the board with vinegar. Could not eat them. The 6 rib dinner is enough for 2 people. However, refrain from ordering the side dishes. If we were in the area again - we would order the ribs only as takeout. The atmosphere leaves much to be desired. No wait staff - it's walk up, order and pick up.

Great ribs and pulled pork, in sandwiches or alone on a plate. Great place to hang and have a beer after work and especially to watch the game

Great location across the street from Turner Field. Husband tried the pulled pork, said it was passable. He is SC, so is a bit spoiled. I had smoked brisket, which was pretty dry. The fries were cold & when I got new ones, they tasted like the old ones were just reheated. The Bullpen Rib House is an experience I hope never to have again.

After reading all of the rave reviews, the husband and I ate here before a baseball game at Turner. Maybe we ordered the wrong items. I chose the bbq sandwich and fries. He had the rib platter (ribs, mac n chees, greens, cornbread). My sandwich was just OK. It was missing something....I couldn't quite put my finger on what. Now the ribs....they tasted like someone opened a pack of ribs and put them directly onto the grill. No rub, no salt, no pepper.....no seasoning at all. The sides were just OK. They were edible. I was willing to go back and try something else but the hubby wasn't having it.

For a place that's open 8 days a week, not very good. Wings were very dry and over cooked and the greens tasted like the microwaved them in water put them in a small bowl and sold them. (Where's the pork belly?) If your starving then it's not bad, but if you can find a better place to eat your better off.

Right across the parking lot from the hotel, this place became a familiar friend during my recent stay. GREAT brisket sandwich and smoked chicken sandwich. The "house sauce" is sweet and tangy. I never got a chance to try the ribs, but hope to on a return visit. The only thing I'd improve would be customer interaction. You order your food at the register and pick up from the counter. That's really your only interaction with the staff. It's kinda lonely. It would be nice to have a server to chat with.

I don't normally endorse BBQ spots, but if you're ever in Atlanta I HIGHLY recommend Ball Pen Rib House 735 Pollard Blvd Atlanta, GA 30315.

Steps away from Turner Field! Our family of 4 ate for $45. Enjoyed the beef brisket sandwiches, generous side dishes (esp the potato salad) and free refills of drinks. The decor is not much but don't let that stop you from enjoying some good BBQ! Quick counter service.

My family and I were a bit surprised to see that it's really not a restaurant but rather a very good gathering place before attending a baseball game at Turner Field

Walking distance from country Inn & Turner field. Friendly service. Big portion. Taste okay but dry to my taste. Dip in BBQ sauce; makes it much better.

Since I was staying at a hotel next door, and the restaurant was recommended by the hotel staff, I ventured over. There really isn't a wait staff, unless it's very slow. You place your order at a long counter/bar and then they call you to pick it up. Restaurant is VERY large, has a combo of tables and booths...and the booths have been marked up showing years of use. It's a typical next to a stadium hang-out-type place. Nothing fancy, very casual. I got ribs and pulled pork combo. It was EXCELLENT! Ribs were huge, lots of meat, nicely rubbed and pulled pork was tender, juicy, and had little fat. They have a condiment bar with choices of BBQ sauce. Also, can fill and refill drinks yourself. Even though it was the only restaurant in the area, I would not hesitate to recommend it. And the meal was priced very reasonably.

I've ate here several times now, and it gets better every visit!!! Best BBQ, and Wings in the South!!! Great atmosphere!!! Wonderful employees!!! Plenty of TV's for all your sports needs!!!

My son and I visited this restaurant 6/24/2015 looking for BBQ. We received, instead inedible rib tips so burnt the meat snapped like a bone, putrid baked beans that smelled of rancid meat and bland mac and cheese. As I returned to the counter to complain about the quality of our $35 meal, I was immediately sickened when I saw the inspection score, written in RED..."43/U", as in out of a possible 100, this restaurant scored a disgusting 43 which is Unsatisfactory. The ladies restroom is filthy and had no main door and there was a swarm of fruit flies hovering at the sauce and condiment bar. Only GOD knows what is lurking in the ice machines. Please do not patronize this restaurant, which boasts of being open 8 days a week, until they surrender the license to serve the public and make much needed adjustments to this establishment.

My colleagues and I go there for lunch at least 3 times/month and have never had an issue until today. I ordered my meal and gave the cashier (Kristen on colleagues receipt) a twenty and she gave me change as if I had given her a ten. I told her that I gave her a $20.00 and she picked up a $10 out of the register as if that is what I had given her. There is no way that I made a mistake because I had just gone to the ATM, that only gives $20's. I guess I could have taken it further, but they will lose more in the long run because I usually bring 4 to 5 people with me whenever I come. I wont be going back.

What this restaurant lacks in customer service it makes up for in the food! There were only people at two tables. So it was pretty empty. There were two ladies ahead of us in line. We walked in not knowing anything about the place. We stood there waiting for someone to acknowledge us for over 10 minutes. The two people at the register...one of which appeared to be a manager looked at us but never said they would be right with us or if we would be seated shortly. That didn't give us a good first impression. Finally the ladies ahead of us walk away and I ask "So do we seat ourselves??" That's when we were told you order at the counter and then sit wherever. So it's cafeteria style. The young lady took our order and was very nice. She was definitely new and still in training. The manager looking guy watched over what she was doing. He answered all of our questions sufficiently and gave us his undivided attention but he was not friendly whatsoever. He did not appear to want to be there at all. The restaurant itself appears clean but it's definitely outdated and needs a massive facelift. Being across from Turner Field...the Atlanta Braves stadium I feel like it should be loaded with baseball regalia. Anyway, I ordered the 1/3 rack of ribs and 6 wings. I ordered sides of the mac and cheese, collards and baked beans. The food came out very quickly. It was DELICIOUS!!!! Everything!!! Not one food complaint! The price for the amount of food we got was ridiculous. Ridiculously good! So I'm glad I didn't walk out. We are staying at the hotel next door. We are definitely getting more before we leave on Monday!

Not a bad place to eat, prices were not to over priced. Located just a crossed the street from the ball field. Great beer selection.

The restaurant is near Turner Field and is a great location for those who want BBQ before or after a game. When I visited the place, there was no game, so service was quite fast. I had the pulled pork barbecue platter with two sides and cornbread. The food was quite tasty and I enjoyed it very much. The atmosphere was informal and had a TV monitor to watch baseball games. This place is worth a try if you would like some inexpensive, but good BBQ.

Have gone here numerous times before baseball games. Food is reasonably price and fairly good. Location is the key...easy in and out.

Great food. The ribs are terrific! Service was great and the place is clean and comfortable. This is a place to eat good food for a good price!

Would highly recommend this place. It is was wonderful we came in a little late but the service was awesone.

I enjoyed going there after the game. We had wings, and I am not a wing expert, but I found them a little dry. However, the French fries were the best ever! We also sat outside because I wanted to be away from the television and a group of smokers sat next to us and I could not breath. Non smokers, do not sit outside!

You're probably only eating here if you're staying near here and you're staying here if you're doing something at old Turner Field/new GA ST Stadium. The bad news is there isn't much going on there anymore. The good news is this food isn't bad and they have some decent drinks and prices. Not a bad quick hang for grub if you don't feel like really getting out.

Several buckets around the restaurant floor catching the water from the leaky roof, overall filthy establishment, and gnats everywhere! We decided to order anyway and when we cut into our chicken tenders, they were RAW in the center! The "manager" came to our table after we asked twice and removed the chicken. Later he returned with the SAME chicken that was recooked until it was burnt. We also had hamburgers that were awful and when I asked him about them, he admitted that they were frozen patties that they only heated and served to us. The only positive note was that we got a complete refund, but sadly not from the manager (that never even apologized) but from an employee that even admitted she wouldn't even eat there!

The restaurant wasn't the cleanest or the nicest but worked. The waitress was nice though. The brisket is good and tender but the ribs were hard and drier than I'm used to. It is a cheap spot so it's okay for a casual lunch date but nothing special

We loved the food and was priced reasonably for events in area, would recommend the ribs....Awesome!

Big meaty beef ribs that fall off the bone along side the comfort sides. Great prices and this "joint" is appropriately basic for the pre-game experience. Go Braves.

Walked here from a nearby hotel we were staying at when the front desk told us it was a great place for BBQ. They were right - it was just outstanding. Nothing to look at inside or out, but service was friendly, fast and food was outstanding!

Stayed at the hotel next door, so I decided to try the Bullpen. Nice service. Good group of employees. Spacious very casual dining area. I opted for the Wings and Ribs combo. There were multiple reviews saying the wings were very good and I'm always a sucker for ribs. The sides were collard greens, cole slaw, and of course, cornbread. Wings were fabulous. The skin of the wings had a wonderful texture and pop. The meat was well done, not falling off the bone, but close enough. The ribs were well prepared. Also close to falling off the bone - they seemed to lack some taste so thus my average score. The greens were also cooked well but had no smokiness at all. The cole slaw was good. The cornbread came from a sheetcake and had good texture. Not too dry and not too moist. I would go back again if I was close by, but not sure I would make a special trip.

The Mrs. and I met friends for a baseball game at Turner Field, so prior to the game we had lunch at this location. The decor is basic and simple, but yet quite appealing. They have a well stocked beer container, the Shrimp and Fries were outstanding, no oily or greasy taste or sight. Place your order, get your drink, wait for your pager to go off, and then pickup your food. An excellent choice if visiting for a baseball game, directly across the street from Turner Field. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and a good value for your dollar. We liked it so much we did the same the our second game the next day.

Great Barbecue experience. The wait staff was very friendly. The food was prepared to perfection. The beef brisket was one of the best I've ever had. In a big city, this is very close to the best country barbecue! Looking forward to my next visit.

Ate here before the game. Food was great, service was excellent. TV's everywhere. Bartender makes awesome drinks. Laid back, really enjoyed.

I enjoyed a lot. Nothing fancy, simply but very good food! I ate fried shrimp and vegetables; my husband and my unlce ate ribs (I tried one), delicious! And by the way, thank you for playing good music! (Classic tock, and not so loud). Service is excellent, the only waitress at that time, make everything perfect, wonderful atmosphere. Love it!!!! I was eating August 22nd 2018 at 6 pm.

This is really the only restaurant we found around Turner Field. The prices weren't bad, but the quality wasn't good. I would not go here again.

Good place to eat. Very spacious, great service, good food! Pulled pork sandwich is very good. If you get the wings and want them mild or them MILD, because their MEDIUM is HOT! Ice cold beer and cocktails too!

Tough review here. They messed up our order twice and we gave up trying to get it fixed. I wanted ribs and pulled pork and ended up with ribs and brisket. The brisket was excellent, the ribs were dry, dry, dry. My husband had ribs too and was equally unhappy. Can't beat the location though if you're going to a game. There's not too much else in that area.

We got our food as take-out since we were staying at the hotel right next to it (food options within walking distance were non-existent & delivery had a long wait). It is directly across the street from Turner Field. We ordered: Pulled Pork burger (came with fries) Chicken Tenders and Fries Small Chili Cheese Fries The restaurant didn't have a lot of people on it. They were quick to prepare it for us. They packed to go utensils. It didn't occur to me to get extra sauce for my pulled pork (they have it on the counters) but it was good without it. The fries are golden and crispy, very tasty! The chili cheese fries could have used some extra cheese but they were pretty good. The chicken tenders were average but good. Pricing wasn't too bad. Under $20 for everything plus a couple of regular drinks. The waitress was very nice. Overall, decent experience!

I should know better by. now to not try a BBQ restaurant on a cold visit anywhere outside of Memphis,TN. We split the 1/3 rack and pulled pork. The ribs were ok only because they pretty much just fell off the bone. The taste was just ok. The pulled pork looked and tasted like it had been made in a pot in the oven and then microwaved. Absolutely horrendous! Thank goodness we will never be anywhere close by to try it again.

A wonderful slice of American life - I'm sure folks were in here having ribs for breakfast! Reasonably priced and more TVs than you can look at!

After years of wanting to go to the Bullpen, our son & went last night before the Braves game. TERRIFIC, especially the baked beans and apple pie moonshine. We'll be back soon and often.

Very dirty. Tables were not cleaned off. We cleaned our own. Hamburgers were generic, wings over cooked and chili cheese fries were not good at all. My wife and I agree the only thing good was that the beer was cold. Not planning on going back.

Great food! Even better location! Turner Field is right outside the window. Ribs, pulled pork and sides were all delicious.

I actually made an order to go. I ordered a BBQ chicken nacho and the banana pudding dessert. The guy at the counter was quite friendly. There were only a few other people in the restaurant and he very attentive. Anyway, I got my order and went back to the hotel next door. The nacho was quite good and it was a nice sized portion. I found the banana pudding to be a bit bland. Overall, not bad, just not what I'm used to. It seems like a nice restaurant and worth another visit.

So good and reasonable. The have you food ready in no time. I would suggest bullpen if you are looking for great food.

The Bullpen Rib House is right around the corner from Turner Field (Home of the Atlanta Braves) and down just a block or so. Definitely within walking distance. It makes a lot of its money from the baseball fans for sure. Seating is very casual, with patio seating as well; no ambience, just good food. Prices run average of 12.00; sandwiches half that, and rib plates around 15.00-20.00 depending on amount. Wide selection of bottled beer, and soft drinks, dispense your own. I had the brisket, with baked beans (spicy and flavorful) and green beans, seasoned just right. The meat was very tender and plentiful, with a selection of 3 different bbq sauces to choose from. Pulled pork on a bun was tasty as well. With very little competition, The Bullpen has the monopoly on BBQ!

I ate here for the first time this week before heading to the Braves game at Turner Field. I definitely recommend their chicken tenders and the cheeseburger is good too! The prices were very affordable especially compared to those of the vendors inside the ball park. I will definitely eat here again.

Came highly recommended. However, the food was a disappointment. Located directly across the street from Turner Field we thought we would have a meal to remember. Unfortunately, it was not. We had the ribs/brisket combo,w/baked beans. The ribs were good, the brisket was overcooked and dried out, the beans were extremely spicy. They offer a bucket of 5 beers that is no cheaper than buying 5 individual beers. This location is in trouble once the Braves move to Smyrna.I wish I could be more positive, but based on my experience..................

Simple- one line for food, one line for drinks. Pickup when ready. Seating plentiful. Our group had about one of everything on the menu and all was delicious. Highly recommend if attending a Braves game!

The food was good, however, the place was extremely dirty. My husband ordered tea, and there wasn't any. Staff acted like it was much too incovenient to make some. Tables weren't wiped, and our table had mounds of soggy napkins underneath it. I'm not one to gripe but it was truly not clean and pretty gross. Makes folks wonder if you should eat the food. Was thankful bathrooms were clean.

While on spring break we visited Atlanta, GA and stayed at the Country Inn & Suites. Right through the parking lot was the Bullpen Rib House. We ate there a few evenings and the variety of food they offered was great. They have pulled pork, barbecued chicken, fall off the bone - ribs with different flavored sauces, various sides, etc. We enjoyed trying different menu items over 3 visits to the Bullpen Rib House. If you enjoy ribs, pulled pork, etc this is the place to be! Mary

Don't want to spend the crazy prices inside Turner Field and already paid for parking? This is the place for you. Literally across the street from Turner Field and offers game day parking daily. The decor isn't anything special...a typical hole in the wall beer and bbq type of place. The food is pretty decent for the price and better than spending $50 on lower quality ballpark food. Try the pulled pork, chicken fingers, or wings.

After having a bad bbq experience a few days ago I was hesitant to try anywhere, but as this was referred by a friend I gave it a shot. Boy am I glad that we did. The portions were huge and the food tasted great. The cashier was also really nice! The brisket, pulled pork and chopped chicken were fantastic. Also the cornbread and the Mac n cheese was amazing. Definitely want to come back!

Food was pretty decent I thought it was going to be cheesy but it wasn't as country as people told me. My buddies and some coworkers discussed politics over dinner there would try it again needs more of a variety

Before the Braves game my wife and I ate here. The pulled pork was great right along with the collard greens and the Mac and cheese. If you are going to the game I recommend highly that you stop in for some good food. Staff here are very friendly. Enjoy!!š

Liked this restaurant, the BBQ was very good. Collard greens excellent. Atmosphere very good, staff nice.

I really enjoyed this place. The mac and cheese, the pulled pork, and the cornbread were delicious. I definitely recommend this place.

Hands down the best brisket I have ever eaten and I have been travelling America for over 2 months with food being a priority! I left the bar a very happy person, the hostess was as great as the food and whilst there was only a few other customers dining with us there was a very welcoming atmosphere. If you are in Atlanta this is a must.

Food was so good that all five of us were very well pleased. LOVED THE WINGS! My husband will be going back for more ribs as well. With it being so close to Turner Field it's a win win. The atmosphere is lacking and gives the feel that it's already shutting down so that part is lacking. However, the food makes up for it.

We needed bar-b-que! And Bullpen satisfied that craving. Two of us had the wings, they were amazing, the best I've had in Atlanta Dear Husband had the rib plate, with a double side of collards. He judged them great, and the ribs huge...he couldn't eat them all, they were meaty and tender. I stole his cornbread and it was just the way I like it. It didn't need butter, it was that good. We hope to visit in person soon. Thank you, Bullpen Rib House for the comfort food!

This is a self serve type place. Pretty laid back. Order at counter and when its ready you go pick up. Set up more as a sports bar with numerous TV's.

We used to go there years ago any time we came to the ball park. We were disappointed in the food. The Mac and cheese was over cooked. The pork dried out. The pulled pork needed to be covered in bbq sauce to be edible. Ribs were fair at best. Good thing the braves are moving away!

This is next to the Country Inn, across from Turner field. The different thing about this place is there is no bar, there are ONLY tables. You get your wonderfully cold beer from the counter, place your order and sit at a table.

Stopped here with my wife for lunch, ordered the wings (lemon pepper and medium) couldnāt believe how yummy perfect crispy wings, flavor and sauces perfect A must try for anybody craving wings in Atlanta

Seeing as though there is nothing else in the area, you would expect this place to be packed. It is a ghost town. Cannot see how it lasts.... food is acceptable, but truthfully there are much better place to be found...

Perhaps the best BBQ I have had. Pulled pork and beef brisket. Very reasonably priced and a fun atmosphere. The staff are great as well. Right across the street from Turner Field.
I'll Never go Back
It's right beside our hotel and we were hungry for BBQ. The desk clerk said it was good when he had the wings, so we walked over. (It's that close) (I guess he had take-out) We ate there and here's how it went; you pick up a menu, decide on what you want, then walk over to a counter to order. Drink orders were taken first. Watch the menu, there are categories and they're limited. And don't be surprised if the person taking your order can't find the ingredients. Then you place your food order. Then you pay, and go and sit down. Your food arrives, and corn bread turns into a 1/2 toasted dry hamburger bun. Your food is served on a sheet of paper on a tray and you use plastic utensils. They clean up after you're finished.
