I live around the corner from this place, we were excited when we saw it being built and anxious to try it out. It's attached to Gallo's Seafood, which anyone in the area knows as the best place for seafood if you're over 65 and have no taste buds. In the warmer months, the wait can be a little long. Service is painfully slow, so even a short line can mean a long wait. The decor is nice, but that's about the only good thing I have to say. A burger will run you 8-10 bucks, and everything is a la carte, so figure another 4-8 for fries or onion rings (however, the orders are massive so one order is fine for 2 or more people). We've been here three times, wanting to love it, but hating it every visit. The onion rings here are disgusting, the waffle fries are edible but nothing to get excited about. As for the burgers, well, if to you, a burger is just a huge, fist-size ball of flavorless meat on a bun, cooked however they feel like, then you'll love this place. I have never once had my order cooked correctly, and after waiting 20 minutes for a cheeseburger it just isn't worth waiting again to send it back. ALWAYS cooked well-done (ick) dry, flavorless, etc. The only thing on the menu I have enjoyed is the milkshake, but it somehow takes them LONGER to make a milkshake than anything else, if you order one, expect it a few minutes after you finish your meal. I have only returned to this place because of its location, it's within walking distance to my house and convenient to meet up with my in-laws.

Our group of 3 popped in around 4 on a Saturday afternoon. Inside is bright and clean and all of the staff is pleasant. We were told the menu was recently redone and there were some good items on there. I went for the boneless wings and the pizza burger. Both were really tasty. The serving sizes are really generous for the price charged. French fries with the crab seasoning on the side were really good as well. Everyone else at the table loved their burgers and food as well. Service was fast and friendly. Great visit all around. Can't wait to come back! One recommendation - The chairs at the tables on the inside aren't the most comfortable. Something with a larger back and seat would be better.

Great spot for good food with live entertainment. Served was great, kept us with drinks and fixed any problems. Will definitely be coming back again.

We happened to trip over this place while waiting for a rescheduled doctor’s appointment. Attached to Gallo’s seafood restaurant it’s modern, has a bar with 9 seats and about 12 tables. My husband had a cheeseburger and said it was very good! For him that’s really high praise. I just had a snack with their shrimp and crab bisque soup which was outstanding and the salt and pepper waffle fries minus the salt and pepper. They were very good as well. We have a diverse menu and the prices are reasonable. This very well may be our new go to place.

Casual atmosphere, sports bar. Good burgers, juicy, good size. Specify how you want your burger done, well, medium etc. Good drinks! I had the rum punch. The place is rather small. We went on a Saturday before 6pm, got a table immediately. But when we were leaving, there were people waiting for tables. They also have good key lime pie !!

Great food and bonus live music. Food was fantastic and we will be coming back. Was great to have live music to enjoy while we were there. Plenty of tvs too to keep with your teams

Always consistent and fun restaurant Recently upgraded to large split screen tv friendly staff. Wait staff very willing to rectify any dislikes. Bar staff offers draft samples sometimes filling a cocktail size glass full. Please don’t tell the management. I’m sure they would put that to an early end. The bar menu is extensive but also, having the same kitchen as Galo’s seafood restaurant, I’m sure they’re able to get you some of their simpler offerings. Please order the Caesar salad at Burger bar, it’s the same yummy Caesar salad offered at their seafood restaurant.

We love the Burger Bar. Good food and fun place to go with friends and family. Friendly staff and good service. Great atmosphere to watch the games

This is a new addition to Gallos and the quality, value and service are the same. Food is very good with a variety of burgers and fries. There is a bar and they do serve alcohol. I enjoy going there for lunch

Tucked behind the seafood restaurant is the Burger Bar. Why not? Small and cozy with an outdoor porch, fits the bill for a quick bite. Burgers were large and handmade. Waffle fries, definately large enough for 2, (with the cheddar sauce). Neat and clean, it's a be back.

Well let's just say I probably wouldn't come for a nightly Burger craving. We passed this frequently and figured we'd give it a shot, we were in the mood for a hamburger first time we tried to get in the location was packed and it was over an hour wait so we decided to just go to Nifty fifties which is always our go to Burger Spot hey plus you can get milkshakes but back to the Burger Bar, the second time around there was no wheat we ordered a salad to share which was pretty regular nothing spectacular and each ordered just a regular cheeseburger with a side of avocado. The burgers are pretty plain nothing fancy they could have used a lot more seasoning to tell you the truth I flip better burgers on the grill myself. I guess the real reason people go to this location is for the seafood restaurant which is on the other side they're really pricey though 40 bucks for two burgers that don't even come with fries plus Abby reach that was kind of out of my reach for a burger when you can go over to Nifty fifties get a double stack fries milkshakes and a drink formula around 30

Loved the chicken sandwich and coconut shrimp. When I go, I almost get the chicken sandwich every time. the orange marmalade sauce for the shrimp pairs well with the shrimp.

Unbelievably great moist burgers. The fries and crab balls are incredible also. Cool place, good vibe.

Still making a great burger. Been here many times. The Burger Bar Special is great! Waffle fries & onion rings delicious. You can also get some great seafood items as it is connected to Gallo's Seafood restaurant. They have a full bar and drink specials as well!

My husband and I enjoyed another night at Harv's Burger Bar. The food was delicious and our server, Danny Girl was the best. She gave excellent service with a friendly attitude.

I was at the burger bar yesterday, July 24 and the food was excellent as for the drinks my only issue was I used to have rewards on the website, but when I went yesterday, they were all gone. I guess they expire. I did not know that. I also wanted to go for happy hour, but I was unaware of that in order for you to do that you had to sit at the bar so we never got to take advantage of the happy hour as we did not want to sit at the bar, we wanted to sit at the table, other than that I’ve never had a bad experience

It has been a while since we were here, but we had a great lunch today. Their Burger bar special is excellent. The smokehouse burger delicious. The Gobbler turkey burger special was also delicious. Add on the waffle fries and onion rings!! Very good service, full bar, soups and raw bar from Gallo's seafood available, too

My Dad and I stopped in here while in the area for an appointment. I saw the positive reviews and figured it was worth the short drive. This place is actually located in the back of Gallo's Seafood. The atmosphere is nothing special, but that's not what we came for. We started with the Mozzarella Sticks which were fried golden brown and stuffed with cheese - perfect. They were tasty, and I really enjoyed the sauce that they were served with. It was a regular marinara, but had lots of flavor. We also got the Salt & Pepper Waffle Fries, which were nothing special but they were good enough fries. For my main, I got the Smokehouse Burger - smoked bacon, crispy onion strings, BBQ sauce and cheddar. The toppings were loaded on - no skimping here, and that's just the way I like it. The BBQ sauce and everything about this burger was flavorful. Cooked perfectly to medium. We enjoyed our meal here and both left satisfied. Next time I'm in the area, this will definitely be one of the options I consider when I'm craving a burger.

Went for dinner on Saturday night. Had onion rings, waffle fries, burgers and milk shakes. Its a small place, but the wait wasn't too long. Our waiter was friendly and everything came out fast and hot. Nice vibe. Will definitely return.

We love this casual, little spot, and a decent happy hour too. Friendly service, and good food. I especially love their seafood appetizers, especially their huge shrimp cocktail!!

Great go to spot for very good soup, salads, burgers, sandwiches, appetizers. Never a long wait for food. Good for watching sports games and live music occasionally.

We go to the Burger Bar quite frequently because it is close to our house. I had the seafood salad, excellent, and my husband has the crab cake sandwich, also good. My husband also ordered the Parmesan fries and a Caesar salad. The server asked if we wanted the fries and Caesar salad before our entrees, which we replied yes to. After waiting a long time, everything was brought out at the same time. We really didn't care that the fries came with the entrees, but my husband wanted his salad before his entree. Why ask if you aren't going to do it? My main complaint is the service, sometimes good, but usually so so. I have never had a server ask if we wanted refills on drinks, you always have to ask, if you can catch your server. Also, if you go, wait for a table away from the door, especially in cool weather. The constant opening and closing of the door creates a draft as well as cooling the food. All in all, a good place for food, but don't expect outstanding service.

Nice selection of cocktails and beers, burgers are always good. Tried the crab balls they were ok. Staff was efficient and friendly. Would like to be able to order apps from gallo’s the main restaurant.

Nice little place, cool, laid back atmosphere and solid food. Our waitress was excellent, which is always a plus...We had our meal out on the deck on a nice evening, burger is on the smaller side, but tasty nonetheless . Not a place you "have to go to" but also not a place that you wouldn't go back to either ( this was my second time)

This is a cool looking place hidden behind a seafood restaurant. It’s looks very new and industrial with small tables and a long bench seat. The menu is small but with a good selection of both healthier and less healthier choices. The burgers are very good and are decent sized. The apps are typical bar food as this place does have a full bar. However the beer selection is limited and if you’re into craft beers there are nearly none to choose from but that’s not why you would go here.

Cowboy Burger prepared as ordered and presented well with the side of coleslaw, pickles and sweer potato fries. Service excellent with the establishment being busy for mid afternoon. Tom did a great job.

We have been here twice now. I have had some issues with temperature but that is a good sign. Because you know the meat isn't a frozen nightmare. But for the most part this place is pretty good. I wish the beer selection was better.

Food is always made fresh and delicious. My husband and I come here for family celebrations and for date night. Can't wait to go back!

This was my first visit to Gallo's. I had the smokehouse burger which was very tasty and messy but in a good way!!! Lots of napkins needed. I was surprised that it wasn't offered with a side ( which is extra). Not that I needed the fries :-) I also had a chocolate shake which hit the spot. I would probably go back if I was in the area.

We love this place, but haven't been here for a while. We visited during an Eagles game to watch the game. It was not very crowded and were seated right away. We started with delicious creamy seafood bisque soup. Then shared a big plate of waffle fries and perfectly cooked, juicy burgers. Local craft beers on tap and bar specials, too. Cant wait to visit again sooner than later.

Great food at reasonable prices. And lots of TVs if you want to watch sports games. And they now have covered outside seating

Gallo's itself is a great restaurant. Granted, the clientele is a little on the older side, but the food is still awesome. The burger bar is a nice little oasis with great food and a great atmosphere. The burgers never disappoint. Its a little on the smaller side but worth the wait.

If you are in Far Northeast Philly you need to stop here and get their Smokehouse burger! They also have phenomenal garlic parm fries. A must stop to eat delicious burgers and great drink!

Visited the Burger Bar and met some friends and were invited to stay for Quizzo/Trivia night. Lots of fun. Waitress was very kind, helpful and patient with us. Good food, good friends, good time!

After going to a show we went to Burger Bar for lunch. It is attached to Gallo's which we have eaten at several time before. There was no one in there when we arrived and we were able to pick where we wanted to sit. The waitress came right over and took our order, the drinks were served immediately but it took some time for the meals to arrive. While waiting for the food, I notice the waitress and bar tender were complaining about some customer that just left. I really don't want to hear you complaining.... Food was ok, we had burgers and sandwich's, nothing special.

Friendly, good food and drinks. Sat at the bar. When I want a good burger, it's always one of my top spots, and the french fries were spot-on, delicious, and cooked just perfectly.

True to the name, The Burger Bar serves wonderful fresh burgers with a wide variety of burger options. We had the basic cheeseburger which gives you a good idea of how good the meat actually is. It was fresh and very good. Our companions had the pulled pork and also thought it was very good. It iis a rather small venue, but worth the wait. My only complaint was that we sat near the front door and it was very cold every time the door opened. There is a small glass partition, but it does not stop the wind or cold air from getting to the patrons near the door.

This is the second time our lunch group has gone to Harv's Burger Bar. Everyone enjoyed her delicious meal. We are also fans of Gallos Seafood.

The Perfect Little Burger Spot In The Northeast. Please Be Aware, Fries And Onion Ring Orders Can Definitely Be Shared By 2! Although The Turkey Burger Is A Patty And Not Grounded Meat...It Is Still Deliciously Flavorful!! When Craving A Good Burger This Place Is The Answer!!

Food is always on point and servers are friendly. Bisque was loaded with seafood and is one of our favorites. Service quick and they are attentive to the customers.

Who would expect such a good burger from the back of a seafood restaurant? But there it was. Just turn into Gallo's Seafood Restaurant and head to the back. In a modern, bright, bar atmosphere, you can order one of the best burgers in Northeast Philly. They are fresh, juicy and made to order. The waffle fries are very good and the serving size definitely allows for sharing. The menu is limited, but who cares. You're going there for the burgers, right?!

First time visit on a Saturday afternoon. This is adjacent to the legendary seafood restaurant. It's a nice change of pace. Burgers were good and tasty. We had calamary and crab balls for appetizers and both were nice treats. Our server Bria did a nice job. Overall a nice place to visit. If I was to pick one thing to do better, it would be pay a bit more attention to sweeping the floor and wiping the tables and chairs. This is not a dirty place by any means but details matter.
