Okay but be weary.

By NewJerseyMovieman |

Very over priced steak restaurant. We knew going in it would be, but since it was our first night in San Diego decided to go for it. My wife’s king crab was reported good. My son and I split a porterhouse steak which was $78.00. It was okay, slightly over cooked (ordered medium and was served medium well) True it was dry aged, but really, it’s just a steak. I have had better for much less. The French fries were very tasty but $11.00 a serving. Service was excellent and friendly. Again, we knew it was going to be pricey and this is not my complaint. My complaint is they added a percentage of the bill surcharge to the bill for extra service costs. Really? At those prices I would think everyone there is doing very well without an increased service fee. If it was on the menu, I didn’t see it and no one advised of the surcharge, but found it very offensive and would not recommend this place for that reason.

New restaurant but great experience

By Yo Man! |

Although the restaurant is new, the experience was good. I had the filet and my wife had fish. There was a little confusion when two servers took our order but they made it right and gave us free drinks and a free dessert. They went about and beyond to make it right. I would recommend.

Butcher's Cut is amazing!

By San Diego |

Tried Butcher’s Cut for the first time last night, and it was impressive! I loved the Big Eye Tuna Tartare as a starter, a tasty and elevated take on poke. My waiter, Peter, was so kind, patient, and loves what he does and where he hones his craft. I opted for the Filet Mignon, which was perfectly seasoned. And I indulged in the Happy Cow Mashed Potatoes; the manchego cheese, aged two years, really stood out. The perfect ending was the limoncello cake. It is divine, and they brew a great cup of Café Moto coffee, as well.

Butcher's Cut reaches high and then stumbles badly

By Bob B |

The good and then the very bad: Great upscale menu, steakhouse prices but that is perfectly fine. Dinners well-prepared delivered by an amazing server, (although the floor is a little short staffed). The kind of place I'd normally like to return. Except: we dined with a wine expert who brought in his own bottles. As is custom, we shared with the server. The bill comes, and the corkage fee is $40 per bottle! I go the the GM and ask for corkage leniency. He refuses my polite request and then, worse, dresses me down and embarrasses me for asking the question. I will surely never be back.

Excellent food and service

Came in for salmon and we weren’t disappointed! Known as a steakhouse, but excellent salmon and salads. Highly recommend when you’re downtown!

Meat above all, but quality meat

By Daddo000 |

The restaurant is perhaps the most attractive in the Gaslamp quarter for those accustomed to a more refined and "classy" service. The girls were very kind and friendly, very patient and cheerful. The quality of the ingredients guarantees freshness and taste, the technique also shows that there are professionals in the kitchen. Price appropriate to the offer and the standard of living in San Diego

Great Night

Just had an excellent meal here!! The steak was great !! Loved the wedge salad !! Would definitely go back !! The service was amazing!!

Restaurant to avoid absolutely!!!!!

By Cinzia M. 16.990 lettori |

I was with my family in this restaurant after reading some reviews.... But since I’ve been in California it was the time I ate the worst. They gave us a meat that we had not requested... terrible taste. It tasted only of pepper but the taste of meat did not exist at all. When we pointed out that the meat was not what was required and the taste was not good, the waiter informed us that they would take away the cost of a slice of meat to apologize.... Instead, beyond the damage even the mockery ..... they charged us the cost of the discounted slice of meat increasing the cost of the other ordered compared to the list prices and included in the receipt the price of the tip, when then in America it is not legal to do this because the tip is a choice of the diner and not an imposition ..... what about never again !!!!

Top quality, high price

By S. Heger |

Great casual ambience with steak showcase. Super friendly staff at slightly exaggerated prices (filet with side dishes and water >100$) , but super quality, cooking grade also slightly exceeded...

MEAT

By wheels2015 |

Sat at an outside table. Beautiful wait staff, very professional. Had the wedge salad, very good blue cheese. Many steaks in menu, but ordered a one pound cheeseburger with cheese, carmelizes onions and sautéed mushrooms. AMAZING! It was juicy and tasty. Came with fries as well. Ordered

well located in Gaslamp and a keeper. we will be back

By Bradco2022 |

the great variety from Steak to fish made for an exceptional dinner. Centrally located .we will be back.

Overpriced and underwhelmed

By Roy F |

After 4 weeks in the States unfortunately our last evening was the poorest dining experience of our trip (see all of my other positive reviews). I should have taken notice of the other reviews as our experience was very bad, overpriced, underwhelming $400 for a shared starter of mussels (with no mussels so just shells) and the the ‘special’ tomahawk steak to share at $200. In and out in 45 minutes!!

Authentic steakhouse

By Mr_N94 |

Although located in the most touristic neighborhood in San Diego, this restaurant offers very authentic food. Wide selection of meat and very well cooked. Nice service and pretty furniture.

What a fantastic meat

By Pedro P |

It was already late and we find this restaurant with an interesting menu and decided to try it. The rooms inside were very nice and they were very quick to prepare our table for 12. We all eat very well, and the beef was fantastic. A place to repeat in San Diego

Great Steaks and Seafood

By TWT1 |

This recently opened steakhouse in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter downtown San Diego, has the best selection of steaks I have seen anywhere in southern California. Dry aged beef is on display at the rear of the restaurant. Pricing is well within reason for anyone who appreciates really good prime beef. The seafood selections are more limited but based on the Sea Bass on my plate last night, I would recommend that option too. Tender and moist with great sauce and fingerling potatoes. You might want to try the tempura onion rings, light and not oily; also try the crab and artichoke heart dip with corn chips. The ambiance is modern and comfortable for diners and the service truly excellent...ask for Jackson.

Delicious food

By Sinem K |

Found this spot downtown in San Diego Located on 5th avenue. They dried aged the steaks in the restaurant. I’ve got ribeye and my friend got a special called trio ( New York - lamp chops - lobster ravioli pasta) both plates were delicious. Tried some cocktails and they also were tasty. Service was nice and friendly. Will definitely recommend everyone.

Avoid this Restaurant

By Lynnio |

Where do I start? Looking forward to a lovely meal last night in San Diego I would love to say I was delighted but quite the opposite! Entree ordered did not arrive. When pointed out to server he offered to bring this out whilst we were eating main meal. I asked about the beer battered fries that were meant to come with a homemade bbq sauce we got tomato ketchup again chips were nearly finished and offer was made to bring this out! Ordered 10oz steaks I have had bigger 8oz sirloin steaks! When bill came charged full price! Most expensive meal whilst in the States for 16 days and the most disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant avoid unless you want to pay extortionate prices for average food/service! Came out of this restaurant hungry!

Expensive!!

By h3ll13 |

Really wanted a nice steak, thought the prices were high, but expected plenty of steak for $28. It was listed as a 10oz sirloin, but was more like 5oz, really thin and more like a sandwich steak. Came served on a cold cast iron skillet. $12 for a portion of fries. A $98 bill for such a small steak meal, one sparkling water and one coke is way too high a price!! Would not recommend.

Ok. Nothing more

By Matt F |

I’d seen mixed reviews. Now I understand why. First impressions count and my vodka martini tasted awful. To be fair, it was replaced with a much better version. But then my tuna tartare had so much wasabi in the dressing / marinade that my mouth went numb. And the $60 tomahawk was really disappointing. Just not a very good piece of meat. Watery and tasteless “Creamed spinach” rounded it all off... on the plus side, our server was very friendly and attentive. In the end, it was a three-star experience, no more or less.

Fantastic and recommended.

By Alvaro C. G. |

Simply spectacular, very good food, drinks and magnificent attention. The appetizers very tasty, the house burger is fabulous.

Delicious but….Unexpected expensive

By muscleslindley |

I never complain, well rarely. Everything about the restaurant was as one would want. Food delicious, service slick and efficient but… Even though we were out on business one hates being taken for a ride. The menu looked great but a bit “toppy” price-wise so when the waiter suggested a “surf and turf special” it sounded great and I went for that along with my neighbouring guest. Stupidly I didn’t ask how much the special was as I was a guest, we were having a fun business meal and things were a bit chaotic. The important thing is and the cause of the major beef that we all had with the management is that the waiter did not tell us that the special was $200 per person when one of their steaks was $60 or so. I was just trying to chose a reasonably priced dish. The food was indeed delicious, the starters (priced on the menu so we have no quibble) we’re expensive but also excellent. Am now writing this the following morning when the immediate heat has gone out of the situation but cannot help but feel that on leaving we really did feel a bit stitched up . I would suggest that the management should press their waiters to make their guests understand the price of their specials to avoid future upset. Would I recommend …yes indeed but buyer beware.

Excellent food

By James A |

Food was really good even though they got the whole order completely wrong and some dishes came out cold, seemed like they were very understaffed for a very busy Sunday night. Service was as good as to be expected with a lot of apologising going on around the tables. Think we waited an hour for our only course. It was reflected in the bill. Food is expensive but worth it. Decor and atmosphere great. Restaurant was clean

Happy Hour

By sheiksan |

Went for the Happy Hour menu which had some really nice options and all came with nice fresh greens. Seared ahi tuna, crab cake, curry chicken skewers. Everything tasted great and the atmosphere was nice - easy to converse not too noisy.

Good address!

By LAmateurVoyageur |

Good address and Good Mood , the decor is pretty and sober. The kitchen is very suitable , from pasta to meat to salads

Pretty much a mess

By Smel N. Goot |

Booked group of 16. Excellent appetizers. Downhill from there: a. took 2 hours to be served entrees, some with vegetables, others( same entrer) with nothing. b. Entrees cooked incorrectly..and brought to wrong people. c.Two people never got their salads ( server oblivious). d. Half the party left after 3 hours even though all still waiting for dessert. Until they get their act together would NOT return.

Best 1 pound burger

By dowfin i |

Literally had the best burger here while we were visiting Gaslamp San Diego Chic ambiance with lots of pastas, steak and seafood. Casual American dining and patio dining is great They have a beautiful private room as well

Beware happy hour oysters

By ctsmith25 |

We LOVE raw oysters. So even though we weren’t planning to stop here for happy hour, we couldn’t resist when told they had an oyster special for only $1 each. We excitedly sat down. Of course ordered libations to go with and ordered up a dozen. The drinks were great. The waiter was friendly. We were excited. When they arrived, everything seemed fine. First one for my husband earned a funny look. He said they taste really “sea foodie”. I thought, well good! My first went into and out of my mouth just as quickly. It was bad. Anyone who has ever had a bad oyster knows immediately and would do anything to avoid the after effects they hold. Brave husband tried a second. Not as bad as first but also not great. He foolishly tried a third and we threw in the towel. Our once friendly waiter never came back. (We were one of only 2-3 tables so it was not due to overwhelming business.). We flagged him down for check. He did not make eye contact or comment. Brought check. No eye contact no comment. We left cash so that’s how it ended. I feel more than reasonably sure he knew; if not before serving, certainly after they were not fresh. So my caution to you, if it sounds too good, it probably is. I would not recommend this place for any happy hour delights if this is what they are hawking.

Bang Average

By Lawsonio1 |

Unfortunately wasn’t that great. Half of the menu was not available as they were spinning a spinning a special menu. Service was bad, must have asked many times for some mustard that didn’t arrive. But they did check once I had finished my meal if it had turned up. No need to go on, I just won’t eat here again is all.

Still waiting for my food

By James W |

I was in San Diego for a conference and took some clients out for dinner. We had a 7pm reservation (for 8) and were seated promptly. The restaurant was full but not overflowing as all tables appeared to be seated almost immediately. The busser filled our water glasses immediately and dropped bread even though only half of us had bread plates. After being seated for 10 minutes, we asked the busser to bring additional bread plates and find a waiter (since one had not shown up). We ordered a bottle of wine, 4 cocktails, and placed our appetizer order (calamari and wagyu meatballs). After about 5 minutes our wine got to the table, another 5 minutes the appetizers, and then another 10 minutes (20 minutes after ordering them) our cocktails. We were nearly done with our apps AND seated for 35 minutes before our cocktails arrived. The meatballs were fine, nothing special. The calamari were nice size pieces but were not cooked/drained properly so they sat in pools of grease on the plate. Less than pleasurable in total. We all ordered our meals when the cocktails arrived (seated for 35 minutes) and, unfortunately, I was never able to eat mine (so no review on the entrees). I had to leave at 8:30 for the train station and our food was still not there. We had been sat for 1 hour and 30 minutes!!! and had put in our entree order 55 minutes earlier!!! and our food still had not arrived at the table. I figured an hour and a half would be a good enough window to have dinner...it would be at most restaurants. So, I had to leave my clients at dinner...still waiting for their food, while I had to leave...still hungry...for the train station and the two-hour ride home on the last train of the night. One of the worst experiences I've had in a restaurant.

If you want a good steak—go elsewhere

By janet |

We ordered a center cut filet for dinner. It had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. It was tender and that’s the only good thing I can say about the steak. The sides (one of which was a twice-baked potato) were just okay. The server was very pleasant and checked on our table several times. I cannot recommend this restaurant based solely on the steak. I would not dine here again.

Hidden Service Charge

By Lambretta101 |

Nice surroundings, excellent piece of beef cooked exceptionally well. Clam Chowder had dead clams in it, unopened and downright dangerous. Check out our bill and decide yourself if it’s good value at almost $100 for imposed 18% gratuity, service charge and a bit of bread and oil. Not worth the money with so much choice in Gaslamp District.

Great place to host your event

By Gregory S |

Best new restaurant in San Diego. One pound burger is a wow- unreal. So juicy and tender And they have a vegan burger too Beautiful private dining room for special event and great deals for happy hour

way too expensive

By Tim Davies |

Can’t comment on food, didn’t have any. Really fancied a filet steak looked at pavement menu saw that the filet was 44 dollars thought a bit pricey but go for it sat down ordered drinks and had a good look at the menu, 12 dollars for fries come off it. San Diego is expensive but that’s a joke. Looked at wine menu 60 dollars for a reasonable Rioja. Finished drinks and left. This restaurant and the Greystone next door are sister restaurants. Waitress was very polite understanding and did not make me feel embarrassed when I said we would not order because of price, one positive point. Visited on 12/10/19 please ignore 3 food rating. The Steak could be exceptional but in my opinion 56 bucks for filet with chips , well you know my opinion.

Quick getaway

Loved the great service Liz was beautiful and so friendly recommended some good wine selections. Definitely a place to re visit food wa great Too

Not My Cup of Tea

By Happyowl97 |

Dined here on a Saturday evening. It happened to be Restaurant Week and we went with the RW menu since we had never been there and felt it was a good way to try it out. We both got the steak. Our appetizers were fine and tasty. We had a couple glasses of overpriced wine by the glass. We had a side of fries which were decent but would have preferred thinner and crispier as opposed to the beer battered. I did not enjoy my steak. It was under seasoned and tough and stringy. Basically I felt it had little flavor. I ate about half. Our desserts were decent but they both had a dollop of canned whipped cream, not even real whipped cream, that is just silly. I was underwhelmed with my experience. The restaurant was busy, seating was pretty close and the music was pop, club music and louder than it needed to be. The service was fine, this restaurant is Just not for me.

Great restaurant - great service

By B from brussels |

We were there last night, served by a parisien waiter who gave us top service. Great food, great new restaurant, nice wine

Very poor

By noelpip |

The worst expensive meal in the USA. Poor service. No dressing available for side salad. A rainbow of peppers which was inedible as so bitter. Sauce on the steak despite asking for no sauce. Does no-one sample the food?

Mediocre and over-oriced.

By Donald K |

The food was mediocre at best and highly overpriced. Although there were only two other tables occupied, the service was excellent.

Date night dinner

By Kallie X |

Wanted to have a date night in the gaslamp and we were recommended the butchers cut steakhouse. My boyfriend loves steak so we decided to give it a try and it was well worth it! The service was amazing everyone was so attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes. They dry age all the steaks so we decided to try the filet and the ribeye and wow! It was some of the best steak we’ve ever had. They had great cocktails, good ambiance, and great food! Definitely coming back!

Fantastic, the bill is hefty, but it’s proportional to the portions, which are astronomical, without sacrificing quality

By Alessandro C |

Fantastic experience with good food, available staff and a cozy atmosphere. We visited as a family in San Diego, last night. We were, at first, overwhelmed by choice, but our Italian waiter was so good at giving us advice on what to pick as some of the sauces were different from what we expected. However, the experience turned out to be very enjoyable and we felt at home. We especially enjoyed the meatballs and the double baked potato. The bill is expensive, but we could barely walk afterward ahah. I’ll also leave another good word for our waiter, Manuela, who was very kind and available the whole night and has made our experience truly unforgettable. 10/10, would recommend.

Disappointing

By katie |

Possibly the worse steak restaurant I have ever been to. We ordered a porterhouse for over $100 which was brought out in 5 minutes, tough and overcooked. The steaks, the sides were all covered in balsamic vinegar. When we got the bill, they didn’t seemed surprised that we had issues with the food. Very disappointing experience given the prices the restaurant is charging.

grat experience

By Rodolfo S |

Great Place to come and have a really nice dinner and food, we sat on a table right next to the meat locker where they dry age the steaks, the service was really good

Good but expensive!!

By MaryAnn D |

We had a great time in San Diego. Good food to be found every where. At Butcher’s Cut the steak and lobster were excellent so you get what you pay for but it was rather costly. The special the night we were there was a tomahawk steak. It was hugh. Service was excellent and staff was very attentive. Don’t know if there is more than one but ours was in the Gaslight Quarters. Beware if you want water. Comes in a bottle and is $8. Would highly recommend as long as you are aware of the cost.

Great First Visit To Butchers Cut

Amazing new steak house with dry aged steaks

By 547nickf |

Came here a few weeks back after dealing with the court, They made sure we celebrated the win and had shown us all there new items and the food is just what you would want. Nice dry aged beef you can pick from. Amazing wine selection and the staff to go with. It is a must visit when in town.

Fantastic Bar & Steakhouse

By Southpawfam |

With so many restaurants and bars in the Gaslamp Quarter, you can spend a lot of time running around trying to decide where to settle in for a great bar and dining experience. It was so good we had to return a second night. Both nights, we sat at the bar with Molly as our bartender. Jenny was also serving and the personalized service from the two of them was really nice. The menu had a lot to offer as well. No question about it, we will return to this restaurant on our next visit to San Diego. Thank you Molly and Jenny for making our evenings so enjoyable.

unorganized service and below average food

By 2e2k |

We went there for NYE dining. Reservation worked well, we were greeted friendly and offered a nice table. Menus came fast, drinks took a while though (the starters had arrived before). The service staff is completely unorganized; people are carrying single dishes back and forth looking for the correct table. Sides came first but were cold. One steak came next (several minutes later), but no knife. One plate missing, next steak arrived completely overcooked. Pasta was served last, tasted like nothing but flour. No Parmesan, no pepper mill. Waitress was helpful and trying to sort out the situation, she obviously felt sorry. Got some discount after management became involved. Overall a disappointing experience. Happy New Year anyway.

Dinner for 2

By SPizarro |

Started off with a west coast clam chowder. It wasn't thick or clumpy like the east coast makes it and the clams were fresh. For the main course I had steak that was cooked to order. Juicy, flavorful; my mouth is drooling again. Our wine was paired with a napa wine. Can never go wrong with the California sun. Victoria our server was very nice super friendly. She made me excited for everything that was coming out.

Beautiful Decor, Delicious Food and the best bartender!

By travelingmomEngland |

I love the vibe of the restaurant, the decor is so inviting and classy. In the back you can see the " Variety of cuts of meat"( behind a glass wall.) American fare is what is offered, with a selection of various cuts of beef in addition to pasta, pork, chicken and fish. The Steak I had was perfectly cooked, had to be at least an inch thick and tender as can be.The appetizers were so wonderful, I barely had room for the steak..but somehow managed. We had the Octopus which was huge and as tender as I have ever had. The Lobster Ravioli was as good as any Italian restaurant ( and I'm Italian ). The Craft Cocktails have a steak house theme, lots of bourbon options. But I opted for "The Butchers Cut Cake" which had Vodka, Godiva White Chocolate liqueur and pineapple juice..Oh man! so light and refreshing and rather potent...My friend ordered the "Side Car" and she said it was the best one she has ever had! As full as we were we managed to save room for their "Butterscotch Budino" which is an Italian pudding, paired with "Moscato" Wine it was the perfect ending to an incredible meal. Thanks to our waiter "Jackson" the bar tender "Giulio" . We felt welcome and were very well served,

ONE WORD: Incredible

By mark g |

Just came back from a Christmas dinner here. Big thanks to the wonderful woman who seated us. Food was killer good. Prime steak inbone; twice baked potato, wonderful bread. Amazing waiters. 10 out of 10 Only minor improvements are we had to ask for water (but they were very busy), clam chowder comes with shells (not good - you should just take them out yourself), and table was wobbly. You should make sure a wedge is in place with all tables.

Good steaks but not the best service

By Erin The Explorer |

We had dinner here in September 2019, we saw it on the way home from Padres baseball game and thought lets give it a go and have dessert across the road at Ghirardellis. The restaurant was very nice and the service starter ok....once we were seated it was like they forgot we were there, we waiting about 10 mins before i asked for menus, the food was really good, classic steakhouse! We knew it wasn't going to be the cheapest dinner but they added a service charge that was insane, and with our service only being ok we didn't they deserved it in all honesty. We left and headed to Ghirardelli for a sundae that was amazing! Would recommend here as the steaks were good but hopefully better service than our visit. Enjoy!

BEST steakhouse and happy hour in the Gaslamp

By Inga I |

The BEST steakhouse in San Diego! The most unforgettable dining experience. Service is top notch. Please take a moment to say hello to the beautiful and always lovely Sara, the manager at The Butcher’s Cut. She is the amazing! And they have the BEST Happy Hour! The prawn shrimp cocktail, blue cheese sliders and seared ahi tuna were fantastic! My friends and I had such a wonderful time here. Can’t wait to come back!

Italian restaurant

By giadife |

eat good, but the bill does not match the menu and costs are not shown. The service is cordialy and efficient.

Italian pudding was my favorite

By RyanM5 |

We started with the pork belly. Super tender. Then shrimp and pasta with vodka sauce. Amazingly flavorful. Finally ended with the pudding the manager recommended it. It definitely was delicious.butter scotch drizzle. I think I could go back just for that. It was all really good

Fabulous Anniversary Dinner!

By Meghan |

My boyfriend and I dined at Butcher's Cut for our anniversary. We made the reservation on OpenTable and did select the special occasion option. When we got to the restaurant we were greeted by a host (I didn't catch her name), who congratulated us on our anniversary and gave us an option of booths and tables in the back. I loved the whole vibe of the restaurant - the ambiance was perfect for a special occasion. Shad was our server and he was excellent. He was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. He gave us a rundown of how they age all of their steaks and gave recommendations on other menu items that weren't steaks. The specials all sounded lovely. My boyfriend and I don't drink, but the mocktail menu was fabulous. It is always a nice touch to see specialty n/a drinks on a menu. We split the beets and burrata salad - the beets and peaches were super tasty. We also ordered the lobster ravioli (one of the best I have ever tasted), and the center-cut filet with chimichurri sauce. Honestly, the steak was so good I didn't really need the chimichurri sauce! But I ended up dipping bread into the sauce after I devoured the steak because it was also so delicious. Everyone working was so kind, and multiple people came over and wished us a happy anniversary. They sent over a dessert on the house, which was very kind. I would absolutely come back and enjoy another evening at Butcher's Cut. Big shoutout to Shad and the rest of the crew for making our night so memorable.

Bad service, money stolen

By Selim W |

Party of 6 for an anniversary dinner. The service was terrible, to many tables for the amount of waiters. Food was ok. When the bill came 2/3rds was paid in cash the remaining 1/3rd was paid with my citibank visa when I received my statement the amount was for the entire bill. I disputed the amount with Citibank visa and was told I had to prove that I did not owe the entire amount. I went to the restaurant and explained the situation and I was told by the manager to call a number and a representative of theirs would help resolve the situation. After months of going back and forth I was promised a refund would show up and it never did. Avoid this restaurant like the plague. There are plenty of good steak houses in San Diego that deserve your patronage. Butchers cut stole money from me and future customers should be aware of this possibly happening to you.

Rip off. AVOID

By Emma F |

Very overpriced for mediocre food. We had mussels and clams as a starter. All the muse shells bar one wee empty and the portion size was very small even if there were mussels in the shells. There were clams in the shells. We were recommended a special for the main course by the waitress who did not mention it was 4 x the price of anything else on the menu. All other restaurants give you free water. Not this one. Their mission is not great service or food but to charge you as much as possible. They did let us off the cost of the mussels after complaining but the whole experience left a bad taste in our mouths.

Ok!!! 👍

By Silvio V |

Good restaurant in the heart of GasLamp offering excellent table service, a large room and friendly and polite staff. Good quality meat and adequate prices (even if above the average for the area). Well done 👏!

Yummy

By Marissa |

Had a great dinner here, we ordered the NY steak, mashed potatoes and the baked lobster Mac and cheese. It all tasted great - and the ghirardelli ice cream and chocolate shop is right a cross the street for when you are ready for dessert. The staff was very friendly and the ambiance outside was really nice.

Good steaks and good side dishes

By tachyonbb |

Went there early. a medium walk from the Westin down town. the service was excellent as the were not busy. Started with the bruschetta and it was excellent. Along with the steaks we got the wild field mushrooms which complimented the steaks perfectly. The tbone was cooked to order and had good flavor. A good place to eat in the gaslamp quarter. Recommended if you have a hankering for a steak.

Great food, lovely atmosphere would definitely eat here again.

By Kirk R |

Food was very good, make sure and order medium as the medium well came out pretty charred, still very good. Staff and waiter were amazing and very attentive but not too attentive. Would go back for a good meal.

Great food ambiance

The food end the service were very good. Waiters were very attentive. Great cocktail and wine options. Awesome music. Very nice place. Very $$$$$
