First time in Dallas and started it out right with an amazing meal at CBD. First off, the restaurant is a very trendy place but many people were casually dressed, so anything goes I would say. Group of 6 gals grazed over a number of appetizers including the cheese board, charcuterie plate, mushrooms, the beef tartare and my favorite and not to miss dish was the octopus- so much flavor! Reasonably priced for delicious food and good service. Hostess was accommodating when we asked for a bette r placed table, as we were right by the kitchen at first. Would come back here anytime!

We visited CBD on Labor Day for lunch. I had the roasted carrot and avocado salad and my boyfriend had crispy chicken salad. Both salads were very good but a little on the small side. The onion soup was outstanding and the banana trifle was amazing. Our server, Chandler, was very attentive and helpful. CBD is a great place to splurge for lunch.

Don't spend your money at this dump. Heard it was fun Sundays, not there. Thr old bartender at the entrance is a racist. He acknowleded me and said he'll be with me and I waited and waited and waited for a drink until I told him I wanted a Modelo and he sacastically asks if I wanted salt and lime...so told him yeah, salt and lime. ...he told me to leave...gladly! He's what makes anglos racist. No problem for me. I'll tip all the other bartenders better than he deserves.

I was expecting stuffy and was totally surprised! Great casual, industrial feel. Loved the bar selections. Food was excellent - great appetizers, entrees. Hamburger was one of the best ever. Great place for couples, family with older kids of legal drinking age and friends. We’ll be back!

I had a hard time deciding on which breakfast entree to try. The options are unique-but also include classics like eggs your way. Simply delicious way to start the day!

I took a business client here for dinner, and was not disappointed. The waitstaff was knowledgeable and helped make good choices for us.

First the service. Hosts were excellent and welcoming quickly seating us. Our server while kind and attentive, was not observant of a mostly uneaten entree signaling a problem. The appetizer, pimento toast, while good was pretty small. A one person starter sized portion. Not very shareable at all, which was disappointing. The linguini was very well executed and had well balanced flavors. The shells and cheese were delicious and very well done, a good shareable side dish for two. The stake and frites was a total miss. The steak was fired to perfection. Mid-rare end to end top to bottom. Perfect. However, whoever seasoned this cut went WAY, way over on the salt. So bad it was mostly inedible. The salt was so heavy it's all I could taste for a solid two hours after. Oddly, the frites on the other hand were spot on. Crispy outside, soft inside and perfectly seasoned, and lets be honest here they're really just French fries, nothing super special. I would agree with the others who mentioned that the portions of some items are on the small side. I think that's a fair assessment here. Overall with so many other great restaurants in DFW I'd give CBD a pass unfortunately.

So good, we went twice. Conveniently near our hotel, we went for Saturday brunch and had the Green Chile Pork Migas and the Carolina Rice Bowl. They wouldn't have been items we would have normally chosen, but our waiter Darius was eloquently persuasive, and his confidence was well founded as both were delicious, well proportioned, and expertly prepared. It wasn't the cheapest brunch ($12 for a four cup French Press seemed a bit steep), but it set us up perfectly for a foodie weekend in Dallas. We went back the following evening for a drink after a long day of sightseeing. Sadly, I don't remember the name of our server, but she too could not have been helpful as she guided us through the broad range of draft beers (my wife and I have very different tastes) and provided half a dozen or so tasters before we made a selection (which were excellent). Based on the evidence, CBD Provisions encourages a very high standard in customer service.

While staying at the Joule, we ate there several times. Dinner and brunch. Food was wonderful and the staff made the experience one to remember

Went to this restaurant inside the Joule Hotel. The food is excellent. We had the roasted pig head for 4. There were five of us and we did not finish the serving. It is served with corn tortillas, onions and sauces. The meat was tender and very good. Drinks are great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They made a special dish for my 95 year old mother in law because she is limited on food intake. Will definitely go back on my next visit to Dallas.

We had two breakfasts, a lunch, and late-night drinks at the bar over three days while staying at the Joule. The breakfasts were excellent with scrambled eggs and a terrific yogurt, granola, and berry parfait. Good burger and a Cubano for lunch. Service was great and our servers Derrick and Raoul and other staff were extremely helpful and fun to talk to. Bar service was also great, nice ambiance and good cocktails.

Exellent food at this restaurant. Ample serving of yogurt granola parfait, French press coffee. Wait staff very attentive. Ate here everyday during our stay for breakfast. Food is freshly prepared.

We went there for breakfast. Texan egg for me, salmon avocado toast pr Madam and french toast to share. It was delicious. Well seasoned. Tasty. Greedy. Good service. Nice atmosphere too. Just a little expensive but hey, the United States, the Awards are not the same as in Europe!

The staff were exceptional, our young Aussie waiter was very attentive to the menu, drinks and water. I had the pork chop was was delicious, with the peaches was a perfect accompaniment. Business dinner for 6, was very appropriate with good atmosphere, not noisy and great lighting. Kitchen was busy and entertaining.

I ate there last night and truly enjoyed the food. I had the hummus which was amazing but expensive. I also had the filet and squash as my side. Both very good but pricey. The restaurant has a very cool atmosphere and staff was great.

This place is dark, but comfortable. The staff was pleasant and seemed eager to please. Unfortunately the food was underwhelming. The food was salty and lacked other flavor. The price point was a bit excessive for the quality of the food.

Wonderful from beginning to end...drinks at the bar were well made and they had great cocktail options. AT the table the crab and shrimp cocktail was huge and worth the pricetag. Awesome waitstaff, attentive but not overbearing. We had to try the notorious Berkshire Pigs Head Carnitas- we were so happy we did! The crispy skin and tender meat were beyond delectable. This was not a cheap meal, but definitley a great date night, special occassion dinner.

We had the best experience! Our son ordered the steak, my husband the pasta, and I had the salad. We also ordered a side of fries and spin dip as an appetizer. The salad with lemon dressing (added chicken for protein) was amazing! We left full and satisfied. The service was also superb! Great experience all around!

I had a great time checking out CBD Provisions for breakfast. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Definitely worth checking out and I definitely will be back next time I'm in Dallas.

Had brunch on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn’t busy and the food was delicious. It seemed to be more of a bar with more drink choices than food, but had excellent service and quality food. It’s attached to a hotel with very little signage, but right across them from the big eye!

Sat at the bar to eat dinner here recently. The bartenders were extremely inattentive even though it wasn't busy. I ordered the lump crab pasta. While it was tasty, it was the tiniest portion I'd ever seen, especially for $26! My sister had the burger, which was good. Overall, a blah and expensive experience

We booked a reservation on Open Table, but it wasn't necessary. The staff was friendly and helpful with the menu and specials. We had the 8oz filet and the half chicken, starting with smoked fish croquettes. We added their house mac and cheese. It was all good, but a bit pricey.

Friendly and attentive service for us - party of 9. Appreciated specific recommendations for dishes.

From time to time we stay in Dallas at locations other than The Joule. When we do, we still frequently come to the Joule for coffee and breakfast at CBD. The offerings are always fresh and delicious - standards but just a little tastier or well presented than other restaurants. Was here on business and met my sister for breakfast; atmosphere is perfect for easy Sundays. Coffee at the Weekend is pretty good. The “but” is because service was very slow today.

This was our first time here and we really enjoyed the visit. Great atmosphere and a cool industrial look. We had the migas and lattes. Both were excellent! I knew the food would be great but was surprised how good the coffee was. Highly recommend.

I had the best burger I ever had. Just perfection. Service was outstanding as well. Cool atmosphere.

I visited for the Valentine's Day prix fixe dinner with family. The dining area is just past the bar in a pleasantly-lighted room. I had high hopes since I had never been to CBD. Unfortunately, the first course, a pimento cheese toast, was dry and hard, difficult to chew, and the second course, a clam linguine, was oily and overly spicy. On another note, the tables are too tall for the bench seating for an average-height person like me to cut one's meal. Finally, the restroom smelled heavily of sewer gas. A cleaning staff member had entered the restroom before me and tossed the bag of trash from the men's room on the velvet chair in the women's room. Just a gross experience all around.

We were so pleased with our experience in this restaurant. I’ve never had a simple salad that tasted so good. The French dip is probably the best one I’ve ever had. Our Aussie server was attentive and had a great attitude. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. I would be a regular if I lived there. We will be back next time we’re in town.

I dined here with my mother and children for lunch. It was a quiet location, we enjoyed the mimosa's and the food was excellent. They were accommodating for my children, which I appreciate. I enjoyed the atmosphere and will be back.

Food: We ordered in advance the pig head carnitas meal, and we had several others dishes. Pig head- beautiful presentation, crispy skin, piping hot. Meat was good but not very flavorful. The head was brined and then roasted. The brining was not too flavorful and created a super-salt crispy skin. The meat inside was fully cooked, tender, but not flavorful. Tons of fat too, but that comes with the territory. As for the ears, that delicacy was ruined. We would have wrapped and insulated the ears in aluminum foil, but they were not and were basically ruined and inedible. Rabbit- Three tiny rabbit medallions served with uncooked root veggies and hyper-salted stuffed ravioli in a clear broth. The veggies were basically raw. The micro-portion of rabbit was good but nothing special. And the ravioli were inedible from being over-salted. The manager asked us about our food, and the three of us who tried the rabbit all complained about the salt content, and he said he’d remove the rabbit from our tab. Octopus- Decent but not great. Crab Louie- Good crab. Service: Our server was somewhat attitude filled. Although the manager said he’d remove the rabbit, when our server brought the check, the rabbit was still there. I decided to obliquely ask about it. I asked our sever whether the gentleman in the blue shirt was the manager. He said yes, and I got two words out of my mouth: “the rabbit.” Then, the server said that if I had a problem with something I should tell him directly and said he missed the rabbit on the check. So this is how I summarize the server- manager told him to remove the rabbit. He purposefully left it on and then tested me to see if I’d notice. Then, when I did, he wanted to make me know that he wasn’t happy. The irony is that our sever basically was not around while we were eating. So how could we have provided any feedback to him about the rabbit? Drinks: old fashioned was good but three of us ordered old fashioned cocktails. Two of them varied significantly. The whiskey sour with Japanese whiskey was good. Overall cleanliness: above average

We were here the night before Thanksgiving and the restaurant was quite quiet. We received great service and had a great meal. We had the charcuterie and the burger, salad and the corn pasta. Our concierge from the Adolphus had pointed us their direction and we are glad he did.

I stopped here for gluten free options and got the chilaquiles for breakfast. They were the best I've had. The staff was pleasant but not overwhelming. The coffee was very good. I would certainly go out of my way to eat there again.

Dined at the bar recently while in Dallas on business. There aren’t a lot of particularly enticing options in this part of town, but I was hopeful CBD Provisions would deliver. I found the menu uninspiring and a bit limited. Ultimately I had the pan roasted gulf catch. It was tasty, but pretty minimalist. It looked kind of sad on the plate. Could have used more veggies or starch. All in all I fine choice, but nothing more.

Probably the best pancakes I've had in a really long time. Great beers and wines and hot drinks like chai. The service was exceptional.

The building is really nice both inside and out. Staff friendly and efficient. Good choice on the menu for both food and drinks. Orders came quickly. Two of us had the lamb shank for mains, and it was a little disappointing: the meat did not fall off the bone as you'd normally expect, and it was quite dry (needed a sauce), and essential bland/boring. The deserts were all excellent...hence the mixed option in the title. Pricing was reasonable.

Had grilled cheese and tomato soup! Fast service and good service. One in our party had a very underdone burger but she did not say anything. As she ate very little of it, a shame. Cappuccino very nice.

The "Big Eye Ball" looks straight at the front door. The Service (Amber), food, and atmosphere were excellent. You must try the pork chop and cocktails.

We had two meals here - breakfast and dinner - and neither were a disappointment. Try the home made Ginger Ale (more like a Ginger Beer). Lots of share and small plate options and go with the petite filet - leave room to try as much as possible for everything. You won't be disappointed!

We went to CBD Provisions for a date/dinner on a recent trip to Dallas. We were very pleased with our experience. The food was really tasty and I would really like to commend our waitress, Joy, for her awesome recommendations and great service. While the food was really good, I will say that Joy made our experience AMAZING! She was dealing with a really loud and ruse table next to us, but she handled them perfectly and was still able to give us, and her other diners, the attention necessary for a nice restaurant like CBD provisions. I would definitely go back and request we be put in Joy's section!

Had a great meal last night. Snapper was some of the best fish we've ever had. quinoa salad was an excellent side, as was the pinot noir. My martini was perfect, but should have had an olive -- not a twist. Quail was very good with an interesting rice pilaf. Service was very good too. Had plenty of tables; we reserved an hour ahead.

My local restaurant for 2017 and it's good. The roasted Pig Head is a meal that you seriously only should contemplate if you have 1/. An empty stomach 2/. A high tolerance for rich filling food 2/. A dining companion (or 2) The breakfast/brunch food is just the ticket for a lazy Sunday morning, the omelette is a standout. Accompany that with a French Press coffee pot and finish off with doorstop suss of freshly baked wholegrain toast with berry conserve on top and your day is complete.

I office nearby so frequent CBD for business lunches and dinners and it's a great option for a place that will have something for everyone. They offer some very unique cocktails and the service is good.

This is attached to the Joule hotel. We stayed at the hotel, and crashed the bar on Valentines Day (didn't have the foresight to make a proper restaurant rez before this business trip with my wife - my mistake). Beautiful space. Got a bunch of tasty apps and a couple of drinks. Bartender was very helpful and attentive; at her suggestion, we did some mezcal shots using the left over bones from the bone marrow app as a luge - very inventive and tasty! Charcuterie plate was pretty impressive too. We make it a habit to dodge the hotel restaurant; it's usually overpriced and the food can be pretty lackluster. Make an exception for this one...

this was a business breakfast for 12 which expanded to 14. the staff set up a table in a secluded area as we needed to discuss things. the French toast is quite good, the coffee is ok, the service is quite good.

CBD Provisions is great. I came to the Joule Hotel to stay for a job (which turned into two jobs) and CBD is part of the Joule Hotel. The food was so good that we ate breakfasts, lunches and dinners here and repeated night after night (which is VERY UNUSUAL). It's not a hotel restaurant that is a "hotel restaurant," it's so good it's a destination restaurant in the city where people seek it out from outside the hotel. Try the Steak Frites. Try the Octupus. Steaks are amazing. If I was coming to Dallas and staying at a hotel other than the Joule (which I wouldn't want to do), I'd still go tot he CBD for a meal.

We were in the Americano which is another restaurant based in the same hotel and after popping in this place for a drink we said we would be back. The next night we returned as it is a great looking restaurant with a nice bar for a few drinks before. I went for the lamb shank which was very nice. It is not the cheapest but for a treat worth a visit. There is also a big eye ball over the road which is good for a photo stop at night.

Visiting Dallas. One of the foodies in the group found this place and we headed there for dinner. She talked us into the pig head and we were lucky they had one available (they recommend 24-hr notice). It was remarkably good. Enough food for 3. A little squeamish at the end when you could see teeth! We also split a small plate of shrimp, crab and avocado in what tasted like a Bloody Mary - really tasty with nice chunks of crab and spicy tortilla chips.

I picked this because it was within walking distance of our hotel. The restaurant is in another fine hotel in the business downtown. The menu was limited, but lately, most menus are. We were seated a a lovely booth with views of the open kitchen. Our server, Ali, made our evening special. We ordered a baby lettuce salad which was exceptionally fresh and elegant. Our main was salmon, simply prepared and delicious. We had a white and a red wine, both which were excellent. We decided on desert, which we usually ask as vanilla ice cream and a single expresso at the same time. We did not expect Ali do say " Affogato?", It was great! Highly recommend; fresh food, great ambiance and fabulous service. THANK YOU!

We were there for breakfast after staying at the Joule hotel. Very well done. Excellent, friendly service. Will return.

I had heard of this place for quite a while, and decided to try it while lunching in downtown Dallas. The Grass-fed Double Cheese Burger was very good, with two layers of American cheese, grilled onions, and bacon. The bun held up very well, and the fries were great! Crispy outside, and fluffy inside. The Chicken Salad Sandwich was a bit salty though, and the dressing on the side salad was pretty vinegary. The prices are a bit steep, maybe not for a nice downtown lunch in a nice hotel, but I would come back here.

CBD Provisions is a trendy restaurant that has a small but tasty menu. Service was excellent. We were running late and they were very accommodating to move our reservation. The onion soup was excellent, with pieces of beef to add a unique good flavor to the traditional fare. The red snapper fish of the day was pan seared to perfection and served in a bowl is peas, beans, radish leaves and a spicy sauce. The only minor complaint was the salt level was more than I cared for. The other main dish, a half chicken in a chipotle chimichurri had a nice glue and was moist but slightly undercooked (the bone marrow was red). Also tried a side of Chinese broccoli leaves with cheddar cheese shavings. Parmesan shavings would have been a better cheese for the dish and the salt level could be reduced. Several other tables were served a massive pig special that was a sight to behold, worthy of a picture to memorialize the feast.

Came in at 1pm on Saturday. Place was empty with 5 customers at the bar. Sat at the bar. Asian American (only mentioning it for identification purpose) bartender was chatting with two girls at the bar. No acknowledgement of anyone else of any kind. The bartender was standing ten feet away from where we were sitting and still didn’t do or say anything to us the entire time. We sat there for 15 minutes and then left. We used to come to this place a lot but this was our last time.

When will I learn to stay away from restaurants recommended in Tourist magazines! I found this one in a “D” magazine with cover story about the “Ten best steakhouses in Dallas”. Since I wanted something within walking distance of the Adolphus where I'm staying (separate review), I ended up here. Oh, yes, another warning sign I ignored, actually two: “gastropub”, it said. I have seen enough of these by now to be sure that they usually mean miniature portions of some unimaginable creations with weird names and components, plus high prices and murderous wine list. But, like I said, it was convenient, so I got in hoping for the best and got the worst. The place had a very bad smell: mixture of cleaning agent (bleach?) and spoiled seafood and who knows what else. I said to myself, the worst is over, let's just eat and get out. Well, the menu did not offer me anything of interest. I am not ready to pay $60 for a steak in a place that is not even steakhouse and calls itself “gastropub”. Not to mention its pretentious name. So I went for the Burrata salad which turned out to be a weird and inedible combination of mint, green peas and some other unidentifiable greens, with a miniature scoop of burrata which is a type of creamy mozzarella. No trace of bread or tomatoes, which are an absolute requirement for burrata. The beer is only draft and from “local breweries” with which I am not familiar, so after asking the waitress to suggest a light beer, I pick one which turns out too bitter, then another, same thing. Disgusted, I just leave it all there, pay and walk out.

Atmosphere is modern and intimate. You immediately get immersed in enjoying a great meal with your friends/ significant other and it’s wonderful. I had the duck and OMG it’s amazing. Drinks are gorgeous and inventive.

The corn pasta at CBD Provisions is one of the best things pasta's I've had in awhile! It was super summery and full of flavor. The hummus was also really bright and fresh. Everything we tried was delightful.

Well, food is good and the environment is great. We had breakfast and was surprised by the avocado toast. Was an amazing option! Sad that the service from Chandler and the manager Darius was really bad. Impolite and careless. I would return for the place, but not for the service. The Joule deserves better staff on CBD.

We ate at CBD Provisions for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast was delicious—large, hearty plates that were easily shareable. Great coffee and friendly service. The price was steep for two dishes and coffee: avocado toast and scrambled eggs with sausage, plus a side of bacon. We loved lunch. The salmon with quinoa was cooked perfectly. The green salad was light and fresh. The burger, with grilled onions on a brioche bun and skinny fries, was yummy. We were waited on by a joyful server who was very kind and checked on us often. If I had to choose when to dine, I would opt for lunch.

My wife and i enjoyed dinner at CBD Provisions for our Valentine's day celebration. For starters, we enjoyed the organic signature cocktails and pork rinds. As entrees, i chose the crab linguine which i found to be extremely savory. My wife dined on the redfish... it was scrumptious!

While this used to be a great restaurant, the service and food are now more the caliber of a two star restaurant. We ate here tonight and after 2.5 hours our meal was comped.we had appetizers which were good but the meal was tasteless and cold. Apparently the entire kitchen staff quit

First, the atmosphere is great and the bar was wonderful. Our bartender was AMAZING. Great drinks and craft cocktails. However, our food was not good. Completely overrated.

Inside the Joule hotel- which is hip and chic, this is an industrial style restaurant with a Texas menu. I decided to go for the chilli- and when I looked around, it looked like everyone else in the restaurant did the same thing. It is a rich and wonderful dish-deeply savory meet served next to a huge hunk of cornbread ( which I initially mistook for a baked potato. I thought I had done something quintessentially Texas- which was my purpose. A good place, with serious intent towards quality and service. Limited menu though

Nice open resturant with nice atmosphere. The menu card is small but delicious. You can watch the cooking. Placed central in city. So nice quick service - recommendable!!!

Stopped for a business lunch in Joule Hotel. Restaurant has a modern, rustic feel. The menu is eclectic. I especially enjoyed the roasted carrot, avocado and quinoa salad. It's unique, healthy and fantastic.

I was in town for work and lookng for some place close to my hotel. I was lucky enohg to fnd this place. I ordered the smoked pork chop and it was very good. It had a ton of flavor and it was very juicy. I would get it again. I also had the pork rinds anf they were different but good. I woudl eat here again.

Group of 8 ate well service was impressive. Menu is limited so what they make is extra good. All food was tasty and fresh.

The food, the staff, the ambiance. Perfect. Steak Tartare? I went back for thirds. Forget your ground beef and œuf, this was minced and every bit as buttery smooth as top notch Tuna sashimi, with a delicate blend of umami. Meaning, try as I might, I could not guess what they put in and on it. The taste was fabulous. Had all you'd expect of a hip foodie destination, but with friendly Texan staff - smiles and conversation to boot.

Loved CBD Provisions. We were staying at the beautiful Hotel Joule and had dinner there one night, breakfast there one morning and drinks there on 2 nights. The menu reads like it's from California (and that's a good thing): sustainable, regional and organic when possible. The short ribs are a must - prepared sous vide so they are tender and moist. Great service without being pretentious, which is always a treat. The lemon ice box cake is worth the calories (think of it like a Texas version of cheesecake). The design is modern without being "in-your-face." Highly recommend this restaurant in downtown Dallas.

We recently visit this pkace with a friend of ours. It is a nice place, nothing superb, sefvice was good, nothing exeptional, but the one thing that stands out is their special dish the roasted pig head, which you have to order in advance. It is so tasty, so delicious-crispy skin and succukent meat which is succulent ans so soft it falls apart. Definitely worth trying

The good was definitely good but it was one of the all time strangest service experiences that I can remember. Honestly the server was nice but very inexperienced and just not up to par and the Mgr was simply not creating the right culture

Had the kale salad with grilled chicken and although it was tasty, its way overpriced at close to $20. Basically every plate here for lunch is close to $20 so very expensive.

This place provides a nice stop for a quick bite to eat. The bar service was not great but the food was decent and fast.

I had lunch there and it was very good! Recommendations from this restaurant: the Butcher steak frites and the spicy quinoa bowl. Those two, i had the privilege to taste them and it was delicious. Amazing staff and they also told me that their burger is to die for; I will definitely try that on my next stay at the Joule Dallas.

Ordered: (App) Tangy Tuna Nachos - 5/5 - Great taste, and the fish was very fresh. (Main) Gulf Catch - 4/5 - The catch of the day was Drum. The sauce was very good, but the tabbouleh didn't complement the fish as well as other sides may have. (Main) Shrimp and Grits - 4/5 - The shrimp and grits was excellent. The chard added good acidity, but was slightly overpowering. Not a dealbreaker though. Really great atmosphere. The waiters were very friendly across the multiple times I have been here. Food service was fast and high quality. Would definitely recommend.

Got the pork dish for brunch! Excellent! The grits were amazing as well. There is currently construction going on around the area, but it is a really cool area of Dallas and has easy access to lots of downtown attractions.

Steaks were amazing. Perfectly prepared… sides (beef tallow fries and cauliflower) were excellent. Ben (our server) was delightful… perfect blend of conversation without being overbearing. Fantastic at his job and a complement to our experience… (kudos Ben!!)

Lots of drink and food choices here. A variety of wines on tap and good bar staff to make almost anything else you want.

My wife and I recently enjoyed an evening at CBD during a staycation in Dallas. The menu is not extensive but everything on it looked great. I really liked the lamb shank. Several people ordered a very large and high-end burger. Looks like you would need large implements to attack it. The wine list is very good, and the service is attentive.

This is a great restaurant. I think it’s under appreciated for brunch. They are open earlier than most places that open at 11am and the food and drink is superb.

The service was good, but that's about it. The restaurant was empty when we ate dinner, which ruined the ambience. The food was bland and heavily fried. We came here on recommendations from a friend and were deeply disappointed.

We ate here twice for breakfast and once for lunch. Although we didn’t have dinner, our food was good enough to make us want to come back to try! Sam was our server/bartender and is a sweetheart, and she treated us extremely well. Will we be back? Most certainly! p.s. get the braised greens and ask for a side of the house made hot sauce

Located inside the Joule Hotel. The food and service was very good. We liked the variety of menu selections. Noise level was very low which made the lunch enjoyable.

This place is a little different. Short menu but good food and drink. Parking is tough so look for the closest public garage. I had one of the special local steaks that was excellent if a little on the pricey side. Some interesting specials. Great service as you would expect in a down town restaurant. Add to the list of Downtown places to visit.

Although it's a bit pricey and the portions are small for what you pay, you make up for it in sheer quality of the food. All the ingredients are fresh, the plates are immensely flavorful and there's a lovely ambiance. The chef even asked our table what we thought about a newer item on the menu and I appreciated that he wanted our input. If you want a very nice dinner spot for a date or an elegant night out. The cocktails are great, too!

Love everything we've tried there. Fresh, tasty, creative. The best American breakfast I;ve ever had.

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely ressurection day brunch at CBD today and it was wonderful. Brunch menu had a good selection of choices to eat and the drinks were delicious. We plan to do dinner next time. The guy that escorted us to our table was delightful. Oh and there was free valet!

Love the setting and food; great service and location. Staff went out of their way to help us enjoy our meal.

I ordered the catch of the day which was a Halibut with a caramelized cauliflower side. Wile the halibut looked good - nicely seared - it was slightly dry - over cooked. I have not had caramelized cauliflower before but I have had caramelized onions - the cauliflower was not caramelized in my opinion - just fried and dry. Wait staff was attentive although I had to ask for a napkin - poor form.

Happening place in the Joule Hotel, the burger was excellent as was the nutella french toast, would like to try it for dinner sometime. Good service, although it felt slightly rushed. A hipster hangout.

We went here with some friends, and we really enjoyed it. The food portions are good. I ordered the salmon with a side of potatoes. The wine is also really good. The atmosphere is nice, romantic, dimly lit and it wasn't too busy when we were there. It was a little pricey I thought, but I would go again.

We met friends for dinner based upon TripAdvisor reviews, and were very pleased with our experience. Our reservation was honored on time and we were seated promptly. Our waiter greeted us immediately, took our drink orders, and shared specials. He made everything sound very appealing. My spouse and I split a wedge salad which was excellent. Cold, crisp iceberg lettuce and delicious bacon bits with just the right amount of dressing. My spouse ordered the roasted chicken which was so very tasty, and fairly priced. I ordered pan fried snapper which was really, really delicious -- I only wished the portion was 2 ounces larger. We split a strawberry tart with ice cream dessert which was incredible. Overall, a great experience (not cheap mind you) and we look forward to a return visit.

YUMMY and fun! Had dinner here with 10 coworkers/friends, and we all enjoyed it. Cool atmosphere. Right across the street from the Giant Eyeball. Smaller dining room so you get lots of personal attention. Menu isn’t huge, but everything was great. Nice bar area for cocktails before/after dinner. Bartenders were great. Loved the Lip Service cocktail. Staff was attentive without hovering. Food was fresh and delicious. Nice casual attire. Reservations recommended - they will not seat your party until all arrive. Dishes to recommend - Steaks, fries (really really good), charred octopus, hummus (sweeter than typical, had a cinnamon hint to it), catch of the day, banana dessert (can’t recall exact name). Menu will change based on what’s fresh and available. *No connection to the CBD of the herbal medicinal type.*

This is a lovely intimate restaurant in the Joule hotel. The service was WONDERFUL as well as the food, but the small portions for price paid is overpriced. I actually went for the octopus appetizer and I loved it, but I found the portion extremely small for the price. I can also state that the oysters while wonderful were on the extreme small side. The prices should have been 1/2 considering the portions. Would I do it again? Yes and hope the oysters have grown and the wholesale price of octopus have gone down. I always give any fine dining restaurant a second chance, but better make it right or there won't be a third!!!

Loved this - ate here 3 times in 2.5 days. Excellent in every way including the service which was attentive without being pushy.

I went there while visiting Dallas based on the online menu and the location. Although the service wasn't the best, the food did not disappoint! They make their own hot sauce, preserves, and sausage in house! For a foodie like me, it was heaven!

The three course meal was scrumptious. Watermelon salad was interesting. Al dente pasta cooked to perfection. Mole cake paired delightfully with the wine.

Beautiful restaurant in Joule Hotel on Main Street Downtown. We did not need reservations since it was Sunday evening and the Cowboys were just kicking off. Service was outstanding and the food the same. Prices were reasonable for an up scale property. You have to try their tater tots!

Breakfast in our room provided by CBD Provisions. The food was excellent warm and tasty. Two eggs over easy with their 'brick' of hash brown, toast and grits. The hash brown was crispy on the outside, tender within and not at all greasy. We like bacon well done at it was perfectly crispy. The spinach omelette was wonderful and cooked just right, and we ordered it with a delicious scone. Service was prompt.

CBD Provisions in the Joule Hotel offer delicious food, beverages and lovely atmosphere. Reserved table for 12 on a Tuesday night following a business meeting. Everyone greatly enjoyed the food, atmosphere and company.

I had the sourdough French toast. It was okay, but real pricey. This is one of those trendy places that young, hip people go to and are willing to pay more for ambiance rather than food quality.

My husband and I recently ate lunch at CBD Provisions during our stay in Dallas. This restaurant is outstanding. I tried the chopped salad and the steak frites and both plates were delicious and full of flavor. My husband tried the shrimp and crab cocktail and the steak frites and loved both dishes. Our server, Edward, is one of the best servers we have come across. He was very friendly and answered our questions about the menu. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We've been here a couple times and haven't had a good experience yet. The last time we visited we ordered our food, waited 45 minutes got 1/4 of our meal, waited another 10 minutes or so and just left. We told the manager we we're leaving and he said, ok sorry. Very unorganized- we won't go back again,

Our family had Christmas Eve dinner at CBD Provisions and had a fabulous time. The service was top notch, especially our server Eleanor. She was very attentive to our needs, and explained in detail the menu. We had heard about the roasted pig’s head and decided that would be our main course, reminder that dish needs to be reserved prior to dinner. The appetizers were great and so were the other dishes we had order, but the roasted pig’s head was WOW, need I say more. Unfortunately we couldn’t sample the dessert, our party was stuff! Maybe next time. The price was not really bad with the level of service and quality of food. I would highly recommend this restaurant for something different.!!!!

Breakfast with family this morning was mediocre.. most of food pre-cooked and not served hot except for eggs..not worth your time…

My adult son and I spent a weekend in Dallas celebrating his birthday. We had dinner here one night, which was an easy walk from the Adolphus Hotel where we stayed. We both had the pan seared Snapper; he added a side of the Mac 'N Cheese. Delicious meal with attentive service. We would definitely go back.

Glittery and fancy, but that’s Dallas. The food and drinks were top notch. Lots of beautiful people.

I had a great lunch! House Made Pastrami was on the menu so I could not resist. And it was all that I expected. Tender. Meaty. And with just enough horseradish in the sauce for a nice kick. St the atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable. And fantastic service too.

While it might be pretty and look fancy. The Chef's choice steak was tough. I dont need to ever go back here. The steak was the same cut every cheap breakfast serves for a quarter of the price. Dont know about anything but the giant potatoes. looked good but tasted right out of a box. and the grilled vegetables were way undercooked. $200 for a terrible experience. actually it was $199.79 for a terrible experience!

My sister and I had reservations for dinner here and the recommendation of so many locals. We were greeted immediately by an extremely friendly host. We sat down and waited quite a while for the server. The dinner reservation was pretty early, 6pm, so we didn't know if maybe the dinner crew was just coming on. When she arrived and we told her we'd just start with water as we chose our food to pair drinks with, she roller her eyes. We started with the cheese board and some raw oysters. The cheese board was one of the best i've ever had. The pairings were spot on! I ended up ordering the Fly by Night cocktail, at the recommendation of our sever who literally laughed when I asked what aquavit was. She said trust her, I'd love it. It tasted like Robitussin. I didn't have but one sip and left it at the end of the table because I wasn't going to touch the thing. She never mentioned the drink again. We ordered a bottle of wine instead. We ordered the 28oz Cote de Boeuf to share, and we received pursed lips as she wrote it down. The steak was absolutely amazing. The char and seasoning on it was perfection. We ordered the house made shells, and the hen of the woods mushrooms. Both amazing! We finished this very long dinner off with the nuu-tella torte, the coffee tart, and some cappuccinos. The desserts were ok. All in all the food was exceptional, minus the desserts which were ok. The wine selection was great too. We felt pretty unwanted and beneath the server. If we were to go back again and I felt this way I would address with the manager immediately. Just kind of dampened our evening.

--- We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at the restaurant inside The Joule. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was upscale yet inviting—perfect for a memorable night out. Our server, Ben, was exceptional! His energy, attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm elevated our evening. He offered thoughtful recommendations and made sure every course was perfectly timed and beautifully presented. The highlight of our meal was the rack of lamb—perfectly cooked, tender, and richly flavorful, topped with vibrant herbs that brought everything together. Every bite was a delight. Bem is the best!

Strongly recommend. Our group of 5 each ordered different items and shared. All really good. Excellent service provided by Raul.

We stayed in the Joule for three nights. The hotel is chic and special. Stayed in new tower and room was wonderful, quiet and super high tech. We had breakfast each morning in CBD Provisions located in the lobby. Service was great and the seemingly farm to table fresh food was great. They make all their own breads, jams and the rest is all fresh. For breakfast try the "slab" a four inch slice of fresh baked bread, weighed down on the griddle and served with fresh jam...ridiculously good. Eggs on rye toast topped with big portion of smoked salmon and greens. Everything is unique and fun. French Press coffee was amazing. We loved the place and it is indeed an asset to the hotel.

Only place that was open on Christmas Day. Big plus :) Great food but rather expensive since it is located in a hotel. Really friendly staff and quick service. On pic: avocado toast & two eggs any style

Absolutely the best server and service. I had the omelette- light and not at all spicy as I thought it might be. The toast was an additional thrill. The pancakes also looked delicious - and what coffee drinker can get enough of a good French press?

We had dinner on a Saturday night around 8. The restaurant has tables separated a bit so it felt spacious and you can have a conversation without yelling. Bar was in a separate area. I had the house made linguine with crab, which was delicious. Not a lot of vegetarian options. Waitstaff was attentive but not intrusive.

Be prepared to wait. Just had breakfast and it was delicious. Hotcakes, hashbrowns, bacon. I sat at the bar. Bar guy was in the middle of prepping (so I recommend a table). My first impression was the $12 price tag on hotcakes (so I thought this is overpriced), but after my meal my attitude changed. Again down side was wait time. Other than that service good from both Bar Guy and Manager on duty.

Good for a business lunch if you need a quiet place. We went around noon and they only had 5-6 tables that were occupied , very nice ambience, service & food were both good. We only had a soup & salad, so not much culinary skills required from the chef ... but nevertheless a good experience.

CBD has it all: cool tasteful decor, proficient service, and great food and drinks. The atmosphere and menu items evoke a uniquely Texas feel, important if you're looking for a Dallas experience as a visitor. Standouts were smoked fish croquettes, tomato salad and the burger. Only off-item for me was the Texas boullibaisse, which had a somewhat sour taste, but everything else was so good that a five-star review is still warranted.

Very strange experience overall. They were switching from breakfast to brunch and couldn't seat us immendately, which was ok, but handled very awkwardly by staff. We had a nice corner booth so we could watch the kitchen, which can be fun! But not so at this place because the staff is so dysfunctional. It was amusing because no one knew table numbers and we got brought the wrong items a couple of times and watched it happen across the dining room by staff. You would think this was brand new. I ordered the duck corned beef. It was just okay, way too much saurkrauht. Would not order it again. My husband got the biscuits and gravy, also just ok. The spicy gravy was tasty though. $5 cup of coffee! This place is oddly pretentious but missing the mark on hospitality, service, and food.

Very unique and eclectic. No initial greet at host stand. Bartenders were a little slow with making drinks. Food quality was very good, but erratic with serving a party of 10.

This restaurant located in the Joule is a huge highlight of the hotel as a whole. It is amazing food with a large selection and at good pricing for a 5-star hotel restaurant. I would recommend this to anyone visiting as it was definitely the best burger I have tasted and it’s good to see some traditional classics on the menu as well. Speaking with the manager, the restaurant is also introducing and trying new things on the menu constantly and this is refreshing to see and hear.

Not one review came close to doing this restaurant justice!!! My wife is extremely sensitive to gluten, preservatives, msg, and soy; she absolutely loved everything she had! The "canary" gives thumbs up. She had the butchers cut steak and trumpet mushrooms with marjoram, hazelnuts, and shaved Parmesan. The steak was cooked to perfection as medium rare, a rarity in any restaurant. The rub on the steak was just the right combination of char and seasoning without anything overpowering the other. Don't ignore the sauces delivered with the steak, scrumptious! We both enjoyed the celery root hummus with cata mala olives and celery leaf and I thoroughly enjoyed the sticky ribs. The cocktails were amazing, we had the muddy waters. Love the combination of flavors. Perhaps the most noteworthy thing about our visit, the service! Our server Anita has the countenance of a supermodel and the cool of 007, with a dash of humor. She handled a potentially difficult situation like a diplomat of the highest level! A rambunctious child of a nearby table rudely interrupted our conversation and demanded attention. Like the presidents aid, she took care of the child's need and established a buffer to make us more comfortable. Truly a gem! The manager Stephanie must be a covert operative herself! We did not see Anita say anything to Stephanie, yet she veritably floated by our table and apologized for any interruption of our time with Anita. I have never had that happen before! Hats off to CBD Provisions!!! In the words of the terminator, "I'll be back!"

Needed a quick bite prior to a night out on the town, and stopped by CBD for dinner. Good, attentive service despite a pretty busy evening. No complaints with the food. Very tasty, and arrived within the expected time frame and at the proper temperature. I didn't get to stay too long, but will definitely give this place another look when I have more time.

Nice option for dining within the place of my stay. Burger was cooked perfectly and the waiter was beyond knowledgeable regarding the menu and it's options. Popped in here after visiting the Speakeasy and am glad we did.

Very knowledgeable and nice staff. We came here for my birthday dinner. We ordered the Pig Head Carnitas - it was OK. Not worth the price ($75) but it was an experience to order it! It was work to get the meat off the head yourself. We heard it could feed 4-5 people. This is not accurate. We got about 9 tacos out of the whole head. I had 3 and my husband had 6. I guess if you aren't much of a foodie, or if you eat like a bird, then that is a lot of food? I was shocked and thought surely we'd have a ton of leftovers and we didn't. My husband got down to the bone on the head too. Wouldn't order again. However, we got the avocado and carrot salad with it and that was delicious. Good drinks, good salad - that's all I can really leave a review for. It was expensive. Not sure we'd return. But the staff was great!

Went here for dinner prior to a concert. Had a really great meal with awesome service from Raul. Met a couple who also ate there regularlly. They were saying they always get great service. We had the pork rinds and Grilled Chinese brocolli, both were superb.

My friends and I picked this place because it was close to something we were doing that evening. *Everything* was fabulous. The three of us - foodies all - were blown away. The chef seems to delight in cramming lots of flavors into intoxicating - yet harmonious - combinations. I'm not big on mac 'n' cheese - but CBD's gives new meaning to "comfort;" it is simply delicious. The mushroom appetizer has various kinds of unusual mushrooms (think, "Beyond Buttons and Shiitake") with actual textures and flavors. The Texas Bouillabaisse has big shrimp, mussels, calamari, fresh spinach and a toasted hunk of bread with saffron aioli to sop up the juice (yes, you want to do that). The roasted cauliflower side is done in fish sauce, of all things - I worried about that a little, but my gamble paid off. The wines were tasty, the service was great - attentive, friendly, unobtrusive, with helpful descriptions and recommendations. We spent most of the meal raving to each other about the food and passing forkfuls to each other. I will go back!

Been to CBD a number of times. Started with excellent and innovative cocktails. My wife had a soup and a salad while I had Chinese broccoli and a main course of linguini with crab. The broccoli was over-salted but otherwise everything tasted good. We shared a dessert also, with coffee; also very tasty. The waitress was nice, a bit quiet, and could have tended to us a little more often.

Located in The Joule hotel, CBD had smiling, happy servers, a nice menu with food at reasonable prices, and surprisingly outstanding food for a hotel restaurant. Service was prompt and attentive. Hot tea was nice, CBD omelette with spinach, mushrooms & gruyere was SO good, and the homemade apple butter jelly was unique and delicious on toast. The restaurant itself has the feel of a renovated warehouse, with lots of warm wood tones and a kitchen you can look into from anywhere in the room. And the Joule feels very contemporary and is fun to see. Overall, fun, convenient, and good food and atmosphere. Don’t hesitate to stop if you are close by! My husband and I went here on a Friday night. The service was terrific. We took the recommendation of our lovely wait person and had the chicken and chicken sausage entree. It was delicious, as was everything else we had. Very nice atmosphere.

Relaxed and familiar atmosphere. Large spaces and convivial bar counter. Staff smiling and very much awaits every single detail. The property is located on the ground floor of The Joule hotel in downtown Dallas. I tasted various dishes. Fresh and cared for.

The beginning of the experience started off well with a choice of at least 3 or 4 newspapers. The restaurant had soy milk and almond milk, but no regular lactose free. The prices were a little steep. When I got my meal the jelly had seeds, which I cannot eat. I thought I would ask the waiter for a different jelly. I also wanted to ask for a second cup of coffee. However the waiter literally disappeared. We didn't see him anywhere in the restaurant, which was practically empty. We never even saw him when it was time for the check. I got up to go ask the front desk for a check, when the waiter suddenly appeared coming in an exit door from the outside. Strange.

Not sure how medicine omelet, with side of bacon could cost you 25 bucks. Read these rafisihing reviews on this place and decided to check it out.. huge disappointment.

Wonderful atmosphere. Farm to Table food was spot on. This is a favorite stop when we are in Dallas.

Hello CBD Provisions thank your for serving us very well. Because these days there aren't any restaurants that serve the youth well regardless the money counts. As we entered the restaurant we felt very relaxed and chilled with the fresh smell. Thanks to chef we got a great meal via the excellency of staff that made us very comfortable with the way they behave and serve. I didn't think it would be a great night for me and my friends. We will definitely come back again here to eat the other dishes that we couldn't find the chance to try other foods as well. Infinite passion! Great staff!

Great experience! We met as a group of Chefs from across the country and had a fabulous meal, we couldn't stop eating the pig head carnitas and pig tails!

We stopped in for dinner earlier this month and ended up sitting at the bar for our meal. We ordered 2 salads (+ protein) and fries as our meal. Both salads (and the fries) were phenomenal. They came in big bowls so they were filling enough to be a healthy dinner. They also have a nice drinks list (cocktails and wine). Most importantly, though, I wanted to take a minute to highlight their professional staff. Our bartender and waitress, Meredith, was incredible. She had to manage a couple of incidents with drunk patrons while we were sitting there and she handled it professionally and with poise! All whlie making a mean cocktail to boot! Highly recommend stopping in at CBD Provisions for a drink and/or dinner if you are in Downtown Dallas. Ask for Meredith!

If you haven’t tried CBD Provisions you should. We had several dishes all were delicious. I had a Petit Filet which was cooked just right. I recommend the Brussels Sprouts and the Creamy Potatoes for sides. Great service.

Was in Dallas on business and this was near our hotel. Bourbon was great. Had the octopus appetizer and it was tender and delicious! We couldn’t decide what to order until the table next to us got their steaks. Wow! So we ordered a wagyu ribeye and tenderloin. Best steak I ever had. Ice box lemon dessert was also yummy.

We sat at the bar for a light dinner. The pimento toast was a big winner. The chili was a bit heavy, but the cornbread was wonderful. We saw quite a few charcuterie plates going out, and they all looked really good.

Our group started with the cheese plate. It was a bit small, but yummy. We decided to be daring and ordered the pig head carnitas. We were not disappointed! It was delicious. We ended the meal with the banana trifle. Highly recommend!

We had a nice early dinner here, soft lighting and good food, though nothing that stood out. Convenient to downtown hotels and Thanksgiving Square.

I met a friend here for a drink and ended up having dinner. The bar staff is great and they have a nice selection of Bourbons (my drink). My burger was huge and delicious (I only got a single, it's usually a double burger).

Made a trip downtown for a little staycation and saw this listed in D magazines list of top steakhouses. This was one we had not been to. Pretty cool place with good prices. Not crowded at all. Really kind of hidden and off the beaten path. Downtown Dallas still doesn’t have the vibe it’s looking for.

Too bad, because the food was great and the drinks were too.. but it was mostly an empty restaurant while places around it seemed very busy. Service was inexperienced and management strangely rigid insisting on not serving Alcohol to a professional man and his wife in their late 50s. I know the law, but the experience was weird, weird, weird and went on for 10 mins as waitress was continuously sent back to table by the manager. There are too many great restaurants in Dallas too bother going here again.

Just finish a most delicious dinner here. Great menu with incredible flavor in every fish we ordered. Impressive offerings. Creative and well priced. Good staff who most affable. Would definitely come back again

Happened to be across from the giant eye which was on my list. Then the service was exceptional and interior cozy. Best octopus we’ve ever had. Filet on par with Bob’s Steakhouse we had the night before. Unique steak tartare with tiny shrooms. The pommes aligot was so decadent. The pear and dill and smoky sage mezcal cocktails were interesting and paired well with our meal.

After all the positive reviews, I was extremely disappointed! Two of the items we had seen on the menu online were no longer on the "new menu." Our party was in agreement that the shrimp cocktail chips were way too salty/spicy. Then my entree, the linguini, was also very salty! Another person got the short ribs as an entree and was not impressed. We passed on dessert. The most positive thing about this evening was our service. She was great!

I was recommended this restaurant by The Lumen hotel, who took me and 3 colleagues there with a complementary car service. Meat, wine and sides are fantastic. To go with the steak, we had a Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa and spinach pure, mashed potatoes, mushrooms, broccoli. The fries were dry and terrible, however all the rest was perfect. Friendly service and nice atmosphere, suitable for all occasions (business, friends, dates).

We were staying at the Joule hotel and dined at CBD for breakfast on two mornings. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the staff was friendly. The first morning there were issues with the timing of food arriving at our table but the second morning our meals were served in a timely manner. The food is good but the coffee is mediocre and $6.00 for a french press.

Work colleagues and I attended CBD provisions for dinner and it was great. Very modern hotel, staff were friendly and attentive (Victoria) and food was top notch.

Awesome place for breakfast and dinner. Had ordered pork chop and roasted chicken on 2 separate dinners and both tasted tender and awesome. Nice ambience too.

I ordered this duck with egg, it was actually good but a bit of salty side if you don’t like salt. Over all it was tasty.

Wonderful petite filet and the best homemade fries you could ask for. If looking for dessert, the nuutella dessert has chocolate with a slight lemon flavor and a little crunch. One of the best blends of flavors you’ve ever tasted. Definitely a fun night out.

This is a hidden gem within the Joule hotel downtown. The food is fantastic and the drinks are so wonderfully crafted. Second visit last week with my best friend before our spa day commenced and I was only disappointed that I missed breakfast (pancakes are to die for). I had the burger this time and although I don't usually like medium rare ground beef - this was one exception. It was deliciously prepared and the fries were perfection. Highly recommended and I will definitely return.

The food, service, atmosphere, and coffee were all very good. Within walking distance of lots of cools sights and shopping. It was also kid friendly. My only issue was the greens. They were incredibly bitter and way too mustardy for my taste, and generally I like greens any ways. The duck hash was a little sweet but still very good.

The food was okay. A little pricey for the quality. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Drinks were good.

I like good food, but sometimes things get “over chef’d”. It was hard to choose Something off the menu as most didn’t sound great, but ended up being pretty decent. I’d give it 4 stars. Pics of what we had below.

During a recent visit to Dallas we stopped here for brunch and had a terrific meal and time. There were 6 of us on a Saturday morning and we were treated great. Our wait person was great, providing a gtreat combination of professionalism and personality. The brunch menu may seem a bit limited but there is enough depth that everyone was able to enjoy a delicious meal. Personally I suggest the hotcakes which were delicious and prepared in a unique manner.

After a delayed flight resulting in a missed dinner at CBD provisions we decided to walk over the next day for lunch (from the adolphus hotel-also great). We both had delicious bloody Mary’s while we sat at the bar (offered with tequila or vodka) We ordered the chili and omelette. Both hearty, flavorful and giving us the desire to come back again!

My wife and I walked to this restaurant from our Cambria Suites hotel a few blocks away. This was the fourth restaurant I called trying to find a table for 8:00pm and the only one we could get into without an hour wait. The restaurant is nicely decorated and more importantly, the food was good and the service as well. The menu has enough selections to make it interesting without being over-the-top with choices.

I'm glad we left our current hotel to have breakfast at CBD Provisions. Atmosphere in the hotel is fantastic. The restaurant had a great urban feel. We ordered the french press large coffee - best cup of coffee I had in Dallas! I could have left without breakfast at that point. My son ordered the omelet with ham and I ordered the Green Chili Migas. both were great. Service was fantastic! I'll be back next time we're in Dallas in a few weeks.

Stayed at Joule hotel and ate breakfast before checking out... this place is super cool! Fresh vibe with excellent service and fabulous menu. Everything was perfectly served in terms of temperature, portions, presentation! The taste was very fresh and nicely seasoned. Definitely worth a stop!!

For our last night, we went to CBD and it was indeed a great finale! As starters a Cheese and a Charcuterie Board, then Double Cheeseburger and House Made Linguine, and... finishing with a special churros plate... it was delicious, of course, together with a splendid wine. Great service, and this Down town area is a great place for a 'gourmet'!

Excellent croissants and yogurt parfaits. The migos were superb. Eggs, bacon etc all good. Service was attentive and unobtrusive. Inconspicuous signage so if you get confused trying to find the place, pay attention to the address; use the pathway of the big eyeball if you're coming from the convention center. Highly recommend.
Bar
CBD had a variety of beers from which to choose. The bartender made a delicious margarita. A little pricey.
