One of the best meals we have ever had! The steak was perfection. Do not miss the melt-In-your-mouth sliders. Sides were delicious!

There is so many Steak House in Vegas , old and new , The Good , The Bad ! The Awful ! it is my last day in Vegas , (Three nights in Vegas do no t cut it ! you need less over a week ) got invited from my great friend Ling for their staff dinner at the Cut and located at the Palazzo resort just few feet away from the famous red sigh " LOVE " very elegant five stars fine dinning , not a cheap place but worth every penny , menu is very creative , lot of choices , I choose the Poached Shrimp and is so fresh and tasty , my 14 oz Ribeye Steak (MR ) so tender juicy and natural flavourful , just melting in my mouth , simply stunning , I am so fussy about steaks and it is 100 % perfect , remind me in Singapore few years ago , also the brussels sprouts with horseradish nice match , happy to see Ling still love her Filet Mignon , looks every one love their fantastic meal and each other company also excellent service , very professional , our wine glass never empty , she do not miss a beat , exceeded my expectation , truly grateful Ling invited me for this amazing dinner , so truly recommend this restaurant , I have no problem come back any time.

Worth every penny!!!

Everything was perfect. Excellent food and terrific staff in a beautiful ambience. Of course it’s expensive but you know that coming in. Great experience from beginning to end.

Not up to puck’s standards

By Gus E |

Server pushy on the drinks and the appetizers. Porterhouse for 2 requested medium rare . Filet portion over cooked. Side dishes : pee wee potatoes excellent but sautéed spinach cold . I have eaten at Cut in Singapore and it was outstanding. Las Vegas Cut i’d say mediocre overall . Disappointed.

Amazing

By Kacey H |

The food, drinks and service were amazing! We split the steak and scallops along with a couple of the sides. It was more food than what we could eat. The prices are on the higher end but if you are ok with splurging a little on your vacation, I would highly recommend.

Great spot pre-Sphere show

By Context |

We chose Cut for location and an early dinner before U2 at Sphere. Not normally a fan of dry aged beef, even if prime, but perhaps they age less than or around 30 days so it was not gamey. Great wine, sides and salad too.

The best steak ever had

By howardgraham |

Was quite amazing the service outstanding and the steak just about the best I have ever had Nothing to much trouble in this stunning venue

Good but Pretentious

By Matt B |

Continues to fall backwards in every way. Service is not nearly what it used to be. Food lacks any originality. Prices have continued to skyrocket including the new Old Fashioned cart which starts at $50 a drink and goes to $135 for a single cocktail. Our family of five ate here and while we definitely could have done it cheaper, it was the most expensive meal we had on our trip and the least memorable. Makes me sad because Cut used to be the gold standard but is not currently.

Nightmare meal!🤪

Only word that can describe the entire experience is crap! Will never go back and never, ever recommend this place to anyone.

Delicious steak!

omg! Amazing. This has set a new bar for me. Split the Australian wagyu ribeye with my just and honestly it was amazing! The best flavor without all the fat

An exceptional dining experience

By Steven C |

An exceptional dining experience. The service, food and setting were all outstanding. I booked this restaurant before arriving in the USA having eaten at other Wolfgang Restaurants previously. My fiancé and I were celebrating our engagement and were extremely impressed with the service, knowledgeable with good recommendations without pushing any dish or drink. The food was sensational, the prawns were delicious and the steak was amazing, as were the sides. We also received a beautiful dessert with a congratulations message. Highly recommend visiting when in Las Vegas.

Mediocre

By Melissa G |

I'm giving this restaurant a 3 rating because I have almost as many bad things to say about it as I do good things, so this is going to be a bit of a roller coaster review. To start, my husband and I made reservations to eat here as a special birthday dinner for my husband. We love Wolfgang Puck and we were excited to try what we were told was one of the best steak houses in Las Vegas. Upon entering the restaurant, we immediately noted how beautiful it is. The dining area was decorated in a way that was eye-catching and clean, which gave it good marks in our book, so we were off to a good start. Then the service started. The service was good - and I never thought I would ever say this, but it was almost TOO good. There was a server and an assistant and it felt like they were ALWAYS there to a point that it felt a little overwhelming, at times. We've eaten at some fine dining establishments before and we're familiar with the server/assistant structure, but this was a bit much. The server's demeanor while standing tableside was almost a bit haughty, which we brushed off as just being due to the "fancy" nature of the restaurant, but there were a few times where we felt that we were being looked down on for our decision to decline some of the things that were being offered. The service wasn't fast, but it wasn't slow. Everything kind of came in its own time and our water glasses were never empty. The food was decent. I wouldn't say it was amazing, but it wasn't bad. I don't think it was worth the high price tag, but it was definitely higher quality than I've seen at other steak houses. Was it the best steak we had in Las Vegas on our trip? Absolutely not. And, regrettably, my steak was a little undercooked. On a positive note, the restaurant did reach out to me in advance of our reservation and arranged to have a cake for my husband. The cake was beautifully decorated and absolutely delicious. In fact, I would go so far as to say the desserts at CUT were among the best desserts we had on our entire trip. By the time we left, we were pleased with our experience, but in agreement that we probably won't ever be back. In short, the restaurant is decorated nicely and very clean, attentive service (to a point of discomfort at times and a feeling like you never have any privacy to enjoy your meal), mediocre steak that might not be cooked to the temp ordered, and excellent desserts. I'd call it a hit or miss. If you have the budget for it and want to try it, I say try it. For us, although we loved the desserts and would love to have them again, I'm just not sure I want to face the disdain of the servers for coming in just to order a glass of water and a few desserts, so we'll just chalk it up to a good memory and hope we find desserts equally as good somewhere else.

Dinner before the U2 show

Excellent service, fast and delicious. We were in a hurry and they listened to us well. They are even entitled to a little attention at the end of the meal. They will definitely return there in the future

Exceptional Food - World Class Service

By MichaelGay |

A better name for this Wolfgang restaurant might be “Cut Above”. The food was excellent. But that’s true of many fine dining establishments in Vegas. What puts this one in a class all to itself is the waitstaff. They are simply in a league all by themselves. Want to adventure out into some new wine? Simply ask for the sommelier, tell him what you like, give him a price range, and he’ll come to your table and impress you with the perfect solution. Same for the food choices too. Impressive. Yes it’s expensive. But where isn’t in Vegas?

Excellent Experience!

By Mr. Oke |

Had a great night out here and had some pork belly, hamachi tuna, ribeye, and a crazy melting chocolate globe with banana crème and gold in it. Pretty cool to watch melt. The steak smelled so good I got excited and ate a piece before I took a pic.

Over cooked and over priced

By Michael R |

My $150/per 2 ounces Japanese Waygu steak came out burnt and well done. The $450 steak tasted no better than your local steak house. The difference is that it was the only thing that came plated. The restaurant is a joke. Go to the Wynn for a fine dinning experience while in Vegas!

What an excellent experience...again.

By Dick T |

It is almost a tradition for us to go to this outstanding restaurant when we visit Las Vegas. Another outstanding meal; super great service, and one of the nicest venues in Las Vegas for dinner.

Very good!

By Mer1001 |

We made a reservation 24H in advance through our hotel concierge. We were seated in a nice private round table booth, there was 4 of us. Our waiter was very professional, knowledgeable and his service was on point. Our meal consisted of the following: Ceasar salad - split by 2 Maryland crab & Gulf shrimp “Louis Cocktail” Filet mignon 8oz (2) Filet mignon 8oz (1) with wild field mushrooms Australian Wagyu rib eye 12oz x1 Sides: Yukon gold potato outer Hand cut French fries CUT classic creamed spinach w/fried organic egg Drinks: Expresso martini (many 🥴 LOL) Old fashion from the trolley The ceasar was def big enough to split. The crab/shrimp app was good but if ordered again would skip the combo and go for the shrimp solo. All the steaks were perfectly cooked and the wagyu was “phenomenal”! The sides were enjoyed as well although the fried egg added to the creamed spinach was a tad of an odd flavorful, would likely skip that next time. The drinks were flowing as they were on point as well and the old fashion trolley was pretty cool, not necessary but hey we were in Vegas, so whatever right?! LOL Overall, we enjoyed our meal. And would DEF eat here again and recommend!

One of the best restaurants in Vegas

By teresamaria77 |

4 of us visited here early December 2020. It’s a great restaurant we’ve been here before. 1st class service. Outstanding food. Beautiful presentation. Best cuts of meat, best of seafood, fantastic cocktails. Great table with a view. Good large choice on the menu. Loved the evening. Take your mask off once you are seated. Man the food is good here. A must if you want a special night out for couples or a group.

Engagement dinner

By wayway52 |

Beautiful dinner experience. My niece and fiancé engagement celebration. They treated them very special. Champagne celebration. Special dessert. We all tried the banana cream pie. It was a spectacular dessert. Quite the show. Gold leaf and all.

Bad restaurant

By Bifanas |

We were 4 people Only 3 ate it because I didn't like the menu because I only like pork I ordered pork chops which were terrible, I couldn't eat them and I didn't have dinner. I didn't like the attitude of the employees who didn't pay attention to what we were saying or try to understand We paid €815 plus the tip they wanted us to pay in total was €915 for this horrible dinner Honestly, it's stealing from people I have already paid this money in another restaurant but we were satisfied I do not recommend

Delicious, Memorable Experience

By .KK. |

Dropped in for dinner unexpectedly, not knowing entirely what to expect, except for a reputable dining experience. Absolutely no wait, but we were on the early side for dinner. Our server, Rebecca, was fantastic. She explained all the options of the menu, had no difficulty answering our questions, preferences, etc. and even took time to take one of our party (a huge steak aficionado) back to see the various options on the Japanese wagyu. Our drinks were tasty, despite our varied tastes- some wanted wine, others wanted draft cocktails. Our meal included the Butter Lettuce Salad (delicious, yet simple), the 100% Tajima Kobe (holy smokes, amazing!), and several sides: Brussels Sprouts, Pee Wee Potatoes "Papas Bravas", Wild Field Mushrooms, and Cavatappi Pasta "Mac & Cheese". The Brussels Sprouts were good, tasty, but nothing mind-blowing. The potatoes, however, were delicious. The flavor profile was new and different, yet not so unique it was too odd to enjoy. While the method of prepping the potatoes was simple enough, I don't know if I could quite recreate the flavors at home (a sign of a good dish!). The mushrooms were tasty, but with the shishito peppers, probably the least remarkable of the side dishes. Finally, the mac and cheese was creamy, well-flavored, but not anything new or something unique I haven't had elsewhere. Finally, dessert. We shared Vanilla Mascarpone Créme Brûlée, the Banana Cream Pie, and then Valrhona Chocolate Soufflé. The brûlée, was light, simple, and a small portion. Perfect after a decadent dinner. The cream pie was cleverly created in a chocolate mold, and melted to reveal the main portions. It was fun, tasty, but you have to like bananas. Finally, the soufflé was delicious, but so rich. Glad we shared it because otherwise it would have been so hard to finish on your own.

Too salty

By John T |

Raw oysters were amazing, had a ribeye and the quality was awesome, cook was perfect, but the seasoning was so salty I had to scrape it all off.

Poor service and setting considering price

By mtsod |

I've eaten at several Wolfgang Puck restaurants over the years and Cut in Las Vegas was the worst. The restaurant felt like a tourist trap with people being herded in and out in a hectic way. We were seated in a walled-off area that felt like a cafeteria. The prices were high (80 dollars or more for the steaks without sides) and for what we paid I would have expected a much, much better experience. The server was aloof, and amateurish. For instance, we asked him about specials after he wanted to take our order and he said he forgot and then told us the specials after some had already ordered. In addition, there were long pauses between courses and drinks. He also gave the cliched, "hi I'm (name) I'll be taking care of you tonight" Who say's that at a fine dining establishment? The whole experience was low brow and since I picked it out for our group of 6--felt duped about picking it. The food was a mixture of good and average. The tuna tartare was very good, but the 80 dollar steak was thinly cut for that price and although seasoned well, lacked the big beefy flavor of a steak of that price. Overall it was a disappointment especially considering the bill was over nearly 1000 for 6.

Nice meal....SNARKY waiter!

By Thea D |

Been to culinary school, worked in the industry for 10 years, owned a cafe for five years and have had the pleasure of dining at many fine restaurants around the world. At 50 years old NEVER have I experienced this! After our waiter Richard M tediously reviewed the entire menu in too much detail...we can read... he gave us a few minutes to decide. On his return I ordered the Butter Leaf Salad. I then paused for 2 to 3 seconds to pick up the menu to continue ordering when Richard M said, "If you know what you want I prefer a quick order!" Oh, I'm sorry Richard is my 3 second pause ruining your life? The Butter Leaf salad was inedible due to being destroyed in a vinegar dressing. The porter house for two was excellent but not sure it was actually 32oz. Enjoyed the spinach, mushrooms with peppers and oysters. Also tried the Banana Pie and coffee which was a lovely finish. Found the cocktails overly sweet. Service we excellent with the exception of Richard M who was our main waiter. In the end one visit to the CUT was enough for us. Although the meal was pleasant, it was overpriced. We could have enjoyed the same meal somewhere else for half the price. Overall the experience was unremarkable. https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g45963-d1027215-r786288151-Cut-Las_Vegas_Nevada.html#

Can't beat this place...

By Dick T |

Wouldn't be Las Vegas if we didn't have dinner and wine at Cut. Truly a super meal, attended by a top-notch staff. We've never had a bad dinner at Cut. Elegance in a touristy place is sometimes hard to pull off, but Wolfgang Puck and staff have done it. This is a gem of a restaurant, and we'll go back for sure when we are in Las Vegas.

Delicious and very good evening

By Marie M |

Absolutely delicious. The service is impeccable, like everywhere in the Venetian. Really delicious. A very good time even if the prices are high, it was a very nice evening with the family

Enjoyable Experience!!!!

By soonerboston |

Our experience at CUT, was a mixed bag experience. The most important aspect of course is food and service, both of which were wonderful a true home run. We started with an order of twelve oysters from Washington state chased by a bottle of Ashes and Diamonds Savignon Blanc. Really good.... Our entre consisted of a pan seared halibut, I know your in a steak house, but we both love halibut and do not see it often on menus, so we both ordered that. Done to perfection, nice and moist. We also had shishito peppers and mushrooms in a yuzu sauce, loved this. The culmination of our dinner was the Banana Cream Pie. I also had a Whistle Pig Old Fashion, created at the table, sooooo good. A truly wonderful meal, Chip and staff thank you for the exceptional service. Now for the not so great part. You are in a steakhouse on the Las Vegas Strip, why be allowed in this restaurant in tank tops , shorts flip flops and baseball hats. This restaurant in not inexpensive, dress like that a Burger King, CUT, you are better than this, disappointing part of our great dinner. One fact that needs to be noted as well, CUT is located in the Palazzo Hotel. The hotel is open on weekends only. We were at CUT on a Wednesday, we excited the Palazzo at around 10PM or so. NO TAXIS as the hotel is closed. We had to walk next door to the Venetian to get a cab. Just something to be aware of.

great restaurant!

By Jeanne B |

The tomahawk steak was to die for! Everything we ordered was delicious including the mashed potatoes. The "old fashioned" cart was really fun and different.

A Cut above the Rest

By LagunaGypsy |

Ashley made the evening! It was a rough day. She was able to help take the stress away and make for an enjoyable evening. The food was excellent and not surprising Vegas prices. (We enjoyed the wild salmon and a delicious Butter lettuce salad) The worst though is paying the prices and not have the quality of food to go with it. That is not the case here. Cut is the perfect oasis of calm in the chaos of the hotel.

Wolfgang’s is the best steakhouse

By flanmanalex78 |

This is my favorite steakhouse in Vegas. The servers had answers to every one of my questions and were nice about it with details. The cocktails are prepared right in-front of you, and so is the fish if you so happen to order it. I recommend the Mixed emotions to sip on, not too strong but made to perfection. The Ribeye medium cooked, was perfectly seasoned with just the right toppings. The ambiance inside the Bellagio is quite amazing, a little bit loud but it was a Saturday night

This restaurant is first class.

By teresamaria77 |

This restaurant is first class. A very high end place to sit relax take your time over courses drink some cocktails wines Irish coffees. Order from a wide variety off their menu. Service is impeccable friendly fun guys. We sat at table number 1 which is the best table in the house in our opinion. The taste of everything we ordered was amazing 😉 we just could not manage a dessert but did have Irish coffees. Plenty to choose from the sides were delicious it was all delicious. We will be back. Make sure you make a reservation. First class restaurant first class service.

Lackluster to not very good

By samuraitraveler |

Very underwhelmed. Good service but the food was so overpriced and below average. I was expecting something special but it was lackluster to poor at best. Steak was chewy and flavorless and the Cesar salad for all their hype was actually bad. Won’t be going back anytime soon which is a shame as again the service was good.

Excellent

By Epicuretravels |

A really strong meal from start to finish. Wagyu beef skewers were excellent. The Australian wagyu ribeye was the best steak I had on this trip. Wild mushrooms and sautéed spinach both excellent. Soufflé was fantastic. Not a cheap meal, but well worth it. Service was good.

Top Notch.

By Chrissy C |

We eat out A LOT. We have been to lots and LOTS of really great restaurants. We ate at CUT for my husband's birthday dinner recently. It was SUPERB. From the drinks (table-side smoked whiskey by adorable Maggie) to the apps and entres,.... everything was top notch. The servers, the host, the greeters,.... cannot say enough good things about CUT. When in Vegas give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

I can't say enough good things about this place

By Sarah U |

The food was amazing from the caviar to the dessert. Hands down the best steak I have ever had. The staff was also very nice.

What an AMAZING dining experience

By Carl V |

What an AMAZING dining experience from the food to ambiance... The steaks were fantastic and cooked to perfection... Our waiter was wonderful and the menu recommendations he suggested were loved by the entire table.. A little helpful advice is to share the side dishes and that was explained by our waiter.. Yes- this is a more expensive dining experience but well worth it!!!!!! We will be back!!!

Poor experience

By Teany79 |

Cut is an extremely expensive restaurant however in my opinion the food does not warrant the prices. The menu is extremely limited and could not cater for my dietary requirements, low lactose needed. The server was extremely enthusiastic, to the point it became quite annoying. For example they came to tell me how amazing my chicken dish was and to ask how was I finding it. It had only been served to me 30 seconds before and I was still to take a bite! The chicken was extremely salty. The mashed potatoes served with it were made with cream so I was unable to eat them. The rest of the menu all contained items with cheese and cream, even the bread basket! The chef could not deviate by removing these ingredients for me. It makes me think the food is pre prepared so not freshly made. I found a lot better choice, quality and more helpful service in other LV restaurants.

Very disappointed in CUT

By Barbi B |

CUT was our last dinner out for our honeymoon. It was beyond disappointing. The service was very friendly and tried to be accommodating. It is the menu and Chef that ruined the meal. First, you had to pay for bread. We did, because it’s a nice start to the meal. The bread came out luke warm and the butter pat was ice cold. When you pay $13 for 6 small rolls they should at least be warm. Next we ordered a bone in prime rib for two. At $225 we expected more. The steak was under seasoned. We ordered it medium and the waiter confirmed, no red, hot pink center. It came out very rare. We didn’t eat the bread or most of the steak and no one even noticed or asked why. They did give us a complimentary dessert to congratulate us for our wedding which was delicious. I would not recommend this restaurant. If you’re going to spend that much on dinner, I’d go with one of the other steakhouses in the resort.

Absolutely Divine!!

By Elle.11 |

My first time to Vegas and my #1 place to visit while there.. was truly amazing food! Every bite I savoured, it was an experience I will never forget! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was posh... absolutely my favourite Vegas experience!!!

Great Steak but must try the Banana Cream Pie

By Mary |

Great place for steak. Our steaks were tender and juicy. What stole the show was my dessert-Banana Cream Pie. The pie is encased in a chocolate sphere. The waiter pours hot chocolate or hot caramel over the sphere in front of you. The hot liquid breaks the chocolate sphere in petals. Inside is your banana custard, vanilla wafers, carmelized banana ice cream. The were also gold edible leaves on top of the ice cream. This was not just a dessert, it was a WORK of ART!!

Slow service

By CherylVez |

We must have hit a bad night for service staff because it took over an hour from our salad to get our steaks and I was the only one with a filet so mine was cold, everyone else had eye of rib eye and it was lukewarm. The food was tasty however - I mean how could it not - it was American waygu. Salads were fresh and tasty, sides were also very good and they came to the table hot. Gotta try the fresh oysters though -YUM. The space is quite jammed so it's difficult to hear others at the table. The wit staff kept us informed on the steaks but it was still disappointing.

Great way to finish a Vegas weekend

By Kevin H |

Second time here and it didn't disappoint. Love the overall ambiance of the restaurant and fantastic service. I loved the tableside old fashioned cocktail cart. Steaks were perfectly grilled.

Good food, better service

By William Hurl |

Never eaten at any of Wolfgang Puck’s restaurants before. We stopped in here on a whim, without a reservation. We waited maybe 30 minutes and got a nice table. We both had the filet, it was very good. The atmosphere of the place was quiet and nice. The service was excellent, from the beginning to end! It is very expensive, as are most big name restaurants, but it was a nice treat.

Spendy but worth it

By Catherine S |

Great bourbon cocktails to start. Good size and well made. Wines were all over the map but we found the sleeper syrah from Russian River valley that complimented our entrees. Bread service came too slow. Shared sides of mashed Yukons and creamed spinach, a salad for our friends, guys had filets with bernaise, and ladies each had the loup de mer, deboned tableside. The green olive salsa verde perfect atop. We ate and drank well. Attentive service.

Poor quality and waiter is annoying

By Chris in Asia |

Not sure if I caught this place on a bad day? But it’s was not good and for the price maybe should be a one star review....steak was not good, tough and bland, French fries tasted like that cooked them hours before, were not crispy, they were cold and solid, I was scared they might break my teeth, creamed spinach was bland, mushrooms were ok, lastly I don’t want to be shaking the hand of the waiter when he returns my change, we all know he wants a tip, we are not friends and I’m not doing a business deal with you. All in all I would not be back, you can find much better at a cheaper price

Did not live up to hype

By CHL |

Made a reservation for anniversary dinner based on many reviews. Did not meet expectations. The space was nice but more of a corporate meeting vibe. Appetizers and sides were better than the steak. Salmon was fine but nothing special. Waiter sent us very delicious cake pops for our anniversary. I was expecting more, especially for the price. Definitely overrated.

WTPuck2

By Patrick R |

The worst service, the worst food the worst drink service, took two hours to get our order and the the food was cold, bland and way overdone. Save your time and money and run, don’t walk, to Johnny Rocket for a much more enjoyable experience. Oh yes, it was my birthday and I received a surprise ice cream bar about the size of a quarter!!

Stellar Service, OK Food

By RedLily1968 |

The service was stellar. Drinks were small but tasty. The bread was delicious especially the olive tapenade. The Caesar salad was meh. It lacked flavor. The crab cakes were small but good. The medium rare ribeye was a disappointment. At least I can say we tried it but I have had better while in Vegas.

Exceptional Everything!

By Carebear2011 |

Exceptional Everything! We had domestic Wagyu filet and ribeye and they were so perfect and full of flavor. Raw oysters from East and West coast and as avid oyster eaters we enjoyed the East coast more. The Mac and Cheese was absolutely amazing and the banana dessert was over the top. This will be our go to place for steaks in the future.

55th Bday Dinner

By JeffV |

I wanted to go to Cut since seeing Chef Puck on the Netflix Chef Show. Loved how he described cooking the steaks at the restaurant. Watch this episode if u get a chance before going. The steak was outstanding and I highly recommend the getting the Old Fashioned from the cart. Made in front of you and recommend the smoke version. Dessert was also great.

Top notch!

By L.Leslie |

Beautifully prepared...It is pricey, but if you want super classy, good service and ambiance and delectable food? This is a good choice!

Dinner before show

By lanzie99 |

We had dinner there before our show at the sphere. BEST onion rings we have ever had and beef sliders were excellent. Our server Kara took very good care of our every need. The filet was prepared perfectly med rare. We enjoyed our dinner and would go back

So good.

By Monty W |

Amazing experience. 32oz porterhouse was cooked to perfection, and very tender. Creative dishes surprised us at every course. 10/10

One of the best steaks I have ever eaten

By bengold90 |

I went to CUT as I had heard about their high-end and high-quality meat and I was not disappointed at all. I enjoyed their different starters (oysters, cone tuna with caviar or wagyu carpaccio) but their meat was just astonishing. I ordered the wagyu filet with some mac and cheese and it was fantastic. It was perfectly cooked and just tasteful in every bite. I highly recommend going there for a date or with friends as you will be having one of the best dinners of your life. Keep in mind that it is still pretty expensive and a fine dining place but it is all worth it. They also have quite the wine menu and the bartenders are doing fantastic cocktails as well. A must in Vegas in the Palazzo/Venetian.

Steaks made Well

By guseboy |

If your favorite meal is a Steak then CUT is for you. One of many Steakhouses in Vegas, but this one is a step above. They have many options if Steak is not for you. We ordered the American Wagyu Filet and Ribeye with Yukon Gold Potatoes and Spinach. Great order, the steaks had lots a flavor along with some great marbling. The service is A1 they cater to all your needs, they better for how much $$$$ you spend. Reservations are a must. Enjoy a steak!

Wonderful Dinner and impeccable service!

By lackeyjb |

Everything about our dinner at Cut was amazing. The steaks were delicious and the service was impeccable!!! Definitely get the banana cream pie! It is an experience itself.

Cut so deep and good

By Khai L |

It's a nice restaurant for people who love steak but there are other good food choices also. 1. Alaskan King Crab & Carolina Shrimp "Louis" Cocktail: seafood lovemaking on a bed of horse radish panna cotta. 2. Maple Glazed Pork Belly: Cripsy umami melting in your mouth 3. American Wagyu Ribeye is tender and softer in price. I didn't care much for the Mac and cheese and the brussel sprouts. I would try different sides next time. The service is great. They also gave us complimentary dessert.

Skip this restaurant

By Charles H |

I would rate this as one of my worst dining e4xperiences in years not including McDonalds of course. The food was very expensive and mediocre. The steak was tough and not particularly tasty. The sauces for the seafood were uninspired (cocktail sauce out of a jar is apropos). The recommended wine was not good and priced higher, $40 a glass, probably half again the price of a whole bottle. UGH

Best steak I ever had

By Jimmy A |

It is a much trendier restaurant than I expected. For some reason, I thought it would be quieter and rustic in decor or something. I don't mean that as a bad thing, just not what I expected. I will start by saying this was the most expensive and nicest steak house I've ever been to, with that it was up there with if not the best steak I've ever had. Cooked to order. The service was great. We got some pork belly appetizer and it was amazing. And I got the most inexpensive steak on the menu (still not cheap) and it was amazing. The wife loved her food as well. If we could afford it we would definitely go back.

Very good meal after debate about the bill.

By DavidB19922014 |

Restaurant is located at the Palazzo. Went with a coupon for $75 food and beverage credit from the Venetian. Food was very good and very expensive. Got into an argument with the restaurant related to the $75 coupon. The restaurant and the hotel finally talkEd to each other and I got the $75 credit from the Venetian. This should have been totally unnecessary. Poor management. Gave me a poor opinion of both the restaurant in the hotel. Not likely to go back to either.

Not a good experience

By wallackylega |

I would suggest coming in acting like you are a big deal all ostentatious. If you are with your elderly parents who are simple dressed country folks (but actually own an oil company), you might have to wait more than 30 minutes past your reservation, watch other people come in and get seated, and be told your only available option is in the lobby and straight lied to about other seating options in the main dining area. Before you go thinking I’m a complainer, this is my very first TripAdvisor review of all time despite using the app for 15+ years. Do yourself a favor- Delmonico will take good care of you and the food is better too.

Great date night

By Odyssey670116 |

We had been there 2 nights earlier for the dessert which was fabulous, eating at the bar. The bartender did a great job with dessert wine and port recommendations. We came back for dinner and dessert as the bartender had mentioned the blueberry cheesecake was also great. Be aware the bread costs extra and is fair at best. Would skip it next time. I had the American wagu ribeye, which was great. My hubby has the Alaskan halibut. His was a little over cooked to his liking, but I enjoyed it and we shared my ribeye. Good wine. The sommelier was a little on the arrogant side, but overall made a good recommendation for the wine. We enjoyed Mac & cheese and left room for the blueberry cheesecake. Yummy. A nice way to spend my birthday. 😆

Highly rated & recommended but wouldn't go back

By d828 |

Highly rated and recommended but we were a bit disappointed. Food was good but $20+ dollar drinks, $80+ entrees were not as good as the prices in our estimations. American wagyu steak wasn't as tender as a regular filet. Wouldn't go back.

Couldn’t get any better

Disappointing

By Sarah L |

Overall I was disappointed with my experience at CUT. Firstly, I expected there to be a dress code for a restaurant which is described as ‘fine dining’ but I was wrong and was a little disturbed to be sat next to couples on either side wearing not much more than swim wear and flip flops. Secondly, there is a price fixe menu advertised on the website but according to the waiter they don’t offer this. Thirdly, the service was a little robotic and lacked a personal touch that I expect when I’m paying £300 for a meal. It felt the waiter was reading from a script and was not as attentive as I would have liked - often disappearing for long spells. Fourthly, the food is extremely pricey for what it was. Yes the steak was good but very over seasoned and the starter was tiny. I’ve eaten at cheaper Michelin starred restaurants. In conclusion, I would not return to this restaurant or others in the same ‘franchise’!

Not worth it

By hof0502 |

We were SO disappointed in this restaurant. From the start we waited a half hour for drinks, weren't given the table we requested weeks before, were told incorrect menu info, and the server handled it all terribly. He was rude, unapologetic, and unhelpful to fix our situation. For the amount of money you drop there, you expect way better. There are so many options on the strip I wouldn't waste your time there.

Not Worth It

By joseph b |

We were staying at Cesars while attending a conference in Las Vegas and decided to eat at Peter Lugers. Becasue I was familiar with their NY location, I discounted the reviews that said it was a tourist trap. We are older and our appetites are not what they used to be. I was somewhaht concerned about how the wait staff would react if we shared a steak. The hostesses were friendly and it was only a minute or two before they called us to be seated. As we walked through the restaurant to our table, the workers were very friendly. Almost as soon as we were seated our two waiters came by to introduce themselves. I had looked over the online menuy before going to the restaurant so I already knew what we were going to order. When I told the waiter that we would like to share a steak for one, he made us feel completley comfortable with that choice. He did suggest a ribeye for two but because we were staying at the hotel there really isn't anyplace to keep or reheat leftovers. Almost immediately after we ordered the jumbo shrimp cocktail came out. It consisted of four very large shrimp. They were firm and very good. It was only a few minutes after we finished the appetizer that the steak comes out. The ribeye is cut in pieces and they served used the steak. We ordered it medium rare and it was cooked perfectly at the time the steak was brought to the table. However, they serve the steak on a vey hot plate. By the time we got to the last few pieces of steak, they were more along the lines of well done. At $95 a steak, this was not good. The concept is good and it worked fine at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse but not her for some reason. The steak was fatty and had some grizzle on it. Honeslty, when I buy a baseball cu USDA Prime ribeye at Costco and cook it, my steak is so much more flavorable. Servcie was great, but sorry to say I going with its a tourist trap and the food was not worth the price. Additionally, we were in and out in less than 45 minutes, we felt rushed.

Leave this on the Cutting Floor if You’re Hoping for a Great Steak

By Captainq33 |

Buyer Beware: It’s hard to believe this place has a Wolfgang Puck name associated with it. We were out in Vegas for a special occasion, this place ruined it. In a town where it is never hard to find a great steak, we drew the unlucky straw. We had a large table and everyone agreed we each could have made something better at home. This included 4 separate steak choices. There is no way the steaks we got were worth $105 and up. The cut of meat we got was awful. My NY Strip was filled with lots of fat and tendons and the temperature was off. (ordered medium rare, got rare). Although somewhat expected, the two ribeyes nearest me had incredibly abnormal amounts of fat. What a shame. The waiter convinced us on several sides. They were just okay, except for the cauliflower which was really good, and also overpriced. He didn’t even leave them at the table. Never again.

A “Cut” above the rest!

We were celebrating my 50th in Las Vegas and staying at the Venetian. Had driven to the Grand Canyon that day, so did not even get a reservation until 9:45 pm. Despite closing at 11, our servers seemed to have all the time in the world, and paid attention to every detail... spending lots of time offering input on the menu and making suggestions. We both got the filet and both were extremely pleased with how our steaks were prepared. Upon the recommendation of our server, I ordered the “Mac and Cheese.” Crazy as it sounded, I’m so glad I did. This was a phenomenal dish! SO got asparagus and reported it being delicious. For my birthday, we were treated to a peanut butter and chocolate bar cake with peanut butter gelato. I had already decided I wanted to try the banana cream pie sphere and it did not disappoint. I’m not big on peanut butter but SO is and loved the cake. The entire experience was flawless from beginning to end and made for a perfect conclusion to a magical birthday celebration!

Everything you want from a classy restaurant

By Michael Y |

First meal in Vegas after 20hrs travelling from Australia and it was the perfect way to end a very long day. It's busy place but the service was on point all night. Cocktails were delicious and for mains we had the Pork Chop and the Braised Lamb .... easily the best Pork Chop I've had anywhere - it was so large it was butterflied to cook and it was sensational. Loved everything about the place.

Horrible

By Zhanna P |

We were very excited to have dinner at Cut, which happened to be the worst steak house experience in the end. I ordered American Wagyu Rib eye medium rare, my husband ordered Prime bone in rib eye, none of them were cooked to order. Waguy was very overcooked, extremely chewy, gristly with no marbling at all. Never had gristle in Wagyu before. Waiter never came up to ask how the steaks were. We were determined to have a nice evening, so paid ridiculous 350$ for 2 steaks and 2 wines and left. Were in Smith and Wolensky in June 2020, same price, exceptional product and service. Stay away from Cut.

OVER PRICED RESTAURANT

By Santan2020 |

Over priced restaurant. The food was good. However it just was not a fair value for what we got. The scallops was cooked correctly. I do have experience in cooking scallops. I had the pork belly for a appetizer. It was good and it reminded me of a Continental cuisine kind of restaurant that starves you and charges a fortune. I don’t want to come back.

Upscale Steakhouse in Palazzio Tower of The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

By Jae W. Lee |

During our stay at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, we had a dinner at this restaurant with our far advance reservation to secure a table. The restaurant was located at the corridor between the beautiful waterfall atrium with “Love” art installation and Palazzio casino area. The interior of Wolfgang Puck Cut Las Vegas restaurant was fancy and modern although the lighting was so dim to be almost dark. We ordered Caesar salad, Ora King Salmon, Filet Mignon, and the house-made steak sauce (additional charge of $ 4.00). Assorted breads on the table and Caesar salad with artistic presentation were tasty, and Ora King Salmon with jasmine rice was delicious. Char broiled Filet Mignon cooked medium rare was very well cooked and delicious. But the side order of house-made steak sauce was not to our taste. We felt that the steak without the house-made sauce would have tasted better. The service was excellent, and the restaurant’s Covid related sanitation practices were impressive. All the guests were wearing masks until being seated at their tables. We enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant.

Just Ok

By Pat E |

We were excited to enjoy a celebratory meal at Cut but it didn’t go as expect. Started with the bread board-which was good-could have used more butter. Ordered a bottle of Prosecco-they don’t carry it. Ask for a brandy old fashion-no brandy. That was fine but surprising. The sides were good. My steak was suppose to be medium but had to ho back as it was too rare. I will say the service was good and attentive. Not rushing back.

Excellent Food and Service

By sfwrldtrvlr |

We hosted a business dinner at Cut in the private room. I generally have tempered expectations for business dinners. In this case, the team at Cut went above and beyond. Both the food and service were excellent. Our guests were impressed. I will definitely be back. Thank you to the Cut team.

Best Steak I have ever had in nearly 60 years .

By Anton S |

The food, from starter through dessert, was second to none. My lady ate here some 10 years ago and said I must go for my sons 21st. My title review says it all . Expensive but for great service and a very special occasion worth the spend. The extensive wine list also gave a great choice at all price levels. A must visit while in Las Vegas.

Best service we ever had, Steak were superb too!

By Roger K |

I have eaten at over 300 restaurants in Vegas and I must say that this place has the best service that we have ever experienced in ANY restaurant at home, here in Vegas or abroad. A very bustling place, but somehow the servers and assistants never miss a thing and take the time to listen closely and deliver whatever you desire. I had the Wagyu Ribeye and my wife had the Filet. Cooked perfectly and melt in your mouth delicious. Also the prawn appetizer (raw) was tasty. We each had a drink and shared the banana cream pie dessert which was unique and a show in itself. An overall purely delightful experience. Every one of the staff acknowledge you and you are addressed by name by your server and table assistants. The manager stopped by our table. Our bill was $298.04 for the 2 of us not including tip. My picture is of the Prawns app.

One night service was good the next night bad.

By Bob S |

First night we went to CUT my friend ordered the Filet and stated it was delicious. I had a small salad and it was a salad. We had a few drinks and the wait staff was very attentive. Over all it was a good experience. Next night My friend ordered another Filet and said it was good, I ordered the Eye of Rib Eye and it was tough and not easy to eat. We had to constantly flag down the wait staff to get drinks and place orders. The staff was standing around, chatting with each other and not paying any attention to the paying guests. The desert I had was pretty good.

Excellent service and delicious food.

By jenrob1 |

Ordered from the bar member on 3-7-20 because we had a big lunch. Delicious skewers and sliders. Fries were great also. Our server Camille was excellent... sweet, efficient and professional. Other wait staff excellent also. Great experience.

If You Want to Feel Screwed!

By LoneStar58 |

I am sorry but this place just made me feel like an idiot for eating there. The restaurant itself is gives off a cool and modern atmosphere which I like. Beyond that the food was a joke. But I'm not laughing. The sides of cauliflower and potatoes were so spiced I couldn't recognize them. And the God awful rub they covered my steak in completely ruined any beef flavor that might have shined through my overcooked American Wagyu NYStrip. I must confess, I knew going in that this was an expensive proposition. And I was ready for that. But the food and its preparation were a TOTAL disappointment. At this price point I expect much, much more.

Fabulous dinner & memorable meal

By Sue L |

We had dinner last night for our Anniversary & we were beyond impressed. The food was beyond fantastic! We both enjoyed their soup of the day which was white asparagus with lump crabmeat. It was amazing! I had the salad of the day & a small plate of soy glazed beef skewers which was so tender & had a full, fabulous flavor. My husband ordered the wagyu filet mignon. It was perfectly prepared & melted in your mouth! I can’t say enough about the fantastic food & service. It was however, extremely expensive. We felt however, that when a meal is so superior & memorable, it’s priceless! This is the epitome of fine dining!

Will definitely go back!

By sharking |

We had reservations here on a Tuesday night at 5:30 and had 7:30 show reservations. We had never eaten here before. The service was excellent. The atmosphere warm and welcoming. I forgot to take pictures of all the entrees and the sides but everything was amazing! We paid for the bread basket. The jalapeño corn muffins were great. Entrees we ordered were 8oz prime fillet, waygu hamburger, lamb chops. Sides included asparagus, Mac and cheese, puréed golden Yukons, broccolini. All of them were amazing! This is a fine dining, expensive restaurant but we would definitely go back!

Outstanding!!!

By Richard R |

Had 6:30 reservations on a Friday night for my wife's birthday. Chip was our primary waiter and was very helpful navigating the menu and offering suggestions. We hag Wagyu filets that was out of this world. We have traveled a lot over the years and eaten at quite a few really good restaurants and between the service, the atmosphere and the food...I would put this experience in our top 3 ever!

OK but lacking atmosphere and soul

By BarryAscot |

Cut is in a fairly unattractive space within this casino. I have had good and bad experiences with Wolfgang Puck restaurants. The best ever was at the Bel-Air hotel in Beverly Hills. This restaurant is okay, but it lacks soul. Best part were the deserts, which were excellent. You can find far better places to go for steaks ii Las Vegas which has numerous great steak restaurants. Apart from the deserts, the most notable part was the lady greeter, who was absolutely excellent. We were originally given a table next to a large empty table, which suddenly filled with the noisiest group of six people imaginable. She noticed this and quietly came over and moved us. I think she was a star .

A Must Experience

By elleb333 |

First of all, we were on a time constraint due to a 7 pm show which we informed the hostess about. From the hostess to the server and more, each person was very aware of our time schedule. They promised to get us out on time for our show and they did. We will definitely return for a more relaxed experience. Our filets were cooked as requested and were probably one of the best filets we have ever tasted. Nice char on the outside with tenderness on the inside. The shared mash potatoes were velvety smooth and delicious. Wish I could get mine to taste like this at home. We were celebrating our anniversary and were treated to a complimentary dessert which was absolutely worth every bite. Wolfgang Puck has done a superb job of delivering grand taste.

Birthday Celebration

By Julie M |

Nice birthday note to start off. Great service & food. The wagyu sliders was really good. Caviar platter was awesome. Artisan bread & Pretzel was serve warm and spread was good. We had Kung Pao Cauliflower, Wild Mashroom & Spinach was so good. The filled mignon was perfect. Great wine too.

Amazing restaurant with great service and great food. It is a more expensive one however.

Amazing meal with plenty of great options. If you enjoy an Old Fashioned cocktail they have a cart and come and make it right at your table. Would highly recommend.

The best steakhouse

Ate at Cut 4 months ago and had been looking forward to our next visit .Was not disappointed. Steaks were perfect I!Cannot wait until our next visit

Anniversary

By ksd3 |

Food was good but so so overpriced for what we got. One 6oz filet, salad, soft shell crab and 2 drinks $325.00 So so many better options for good food in Vegas and not a ridiculous price

Great meal!

This was the best steak dinner. Everything we ate was amazing with the dinner bring the cauliflower. It is very pricey though but the quality of the meal lived up to it.

Best of the Best

By Brad H |

This is probably the best dining experience I've ever had. They started the day before by contacting me to confirm the reservation and discuss any special occasions or food allergies. We happened to have both a birthday and someone in the party with a peanut allergy. When we arrived we were seated promptly. The waiter greeted us and immediately acknowledged both the special occasion and the food allergy. The waiters - two, because they work as a team in a section, which ensures you are well taken care of - were friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and accommodating (they arranged for the pork belly appetizer, for instance, to have an extra piece to make it divide evenly between our party of 3). The atmosphere was comfortable, and they left no detail undone. The lighting in the restaurant was perfect - not overly bright or dim, and recessed lights made reading the menu easy. The volume of the cover music was loud enough to mask conversations from other tables, but not so loud that we couldn't talk among ourselves or hear the waiters. The feel was very modern and open. The food was pure perfection. We started with two orders of the pork belly, which we spit three ways. If you haven't and you go here, you MUST have the pork belly. It's amazing. Then we had salads. I chose the butter lettuce salad, which was fantastic. I'm not a fan of blue cheese, but in this salad it worked well...just the right amount to compliment the other flavors, but not so much that it was all blue cheese, as some other restaurants do. The main course was all about the steaks - 3 filets. My wife and I both had the USDA filet, and my son had the American Waygu filet. They were all cooked perfectly and were absolutely delicious. To go with them, we had the potato puree and the white asparagus. I've never eaten anywhere else where people raved over potatoes, but if you've never had the potato puree here, you're in for a treat. They are smooth as silk and just delicious. The asparagus was equally good - large shoots that were cooked all the way through but retaining a little bit of crunch. Dessert took things that were already perfect to another level entirely. We got three different desserts and shared them. They were all spectacular.

Good Food / Snug Seating

By deforest33 |

We took our son here for his Birthday a week ago. The service was top notch as they didn't really miss a beat. They texted me in advance wanting to know if we wanted a cake for dessert, what to say on the cake and what flavor. Our waiter was very personable and did not rush us through any part of our dining experience, which we really appreciated. The food was delish - my husband had the pastrami short ribs which was enormous and my son had the filet. The bread board was delish and the sides were brussels and the kung pao cauliflower. The cauliflower was ok but definitely way too deep fried. My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the drink waiter (seemed like that's all he did) had a little crinkle in his nose when I asked if I could have a particular brand of tequila with one of their specialty drinks. He tried to convince me to order it as it is and I politely assured him I wanted it with the brand I asked for. The first drink came with a huge ball of ice - that's fine aesthetically - but the amount in the rocks glass was half and if you took the ice ball out, would've been 1/8th. I questioned it for the next round and they ended up putting more in my glass but I thought it was a cheap maneuver for the cost of everything - which ended up being a $500+ meal. The last part I wasn't thrilled about and wondered how they came up with these was with the bucket seats in the bar area which is where they sat us. They are super snug - and by snug - I mean, if you have any meat on your hips, do not plan on moving around at all once you actually squeeze yourself into the seat. It's pretty ballsy to have seats like these where there's literally no room to move or breathe in and it felt a little trapped. This place has been around for years - we used to come here in the early 2000's - and while the food is tasty, I'm not sure it all was really worth the price.

Superb dining experience with creative food and excellent service

By Jamesatye |

We were staying at the Palazzo so decided to give this a try. We were glad we did. Every detail of this restaurant makes it one of the very best in Las Vegas, and I have visited a great many of them! We started off with a coupe of cocktails at the bar where the staff were super friendly and dedicated. I overheard a conversation with one of the bar staff discussing Bourbon with another customer and he was sharing pages of notes on the bourbons he was serving. Serious stuff. The dining area itself is cool, stylish with comfortable and intimate booths for couples and it felt a long way away from the bustle of the palazzo->Venetian thoroughfare even though it is only 100ft away. Our two servers - Daniel and Carlos - were both excellent and knowledgeable. Daniel suggested a superb Mendocino Pinot Noir (and not the most expensive either) and Carlos knew all the details of the dishes well. Every dish we had was generally very good. The main courses stood out as being exceptional. My US wagyu steak was really something special in its flavour and texture, seriously one of the better steaks I have ever had. Filet like texture but all the flavour of rib eye. My wife’s Snapper looked and tasted very good too. Only the soufflé fell a little short, perhaps a little undercooked and not especially light but it was still rich, sumptuous and indulgent. OK, so this won’t be a cheap experience; our bill was $480 for 2 including wine, cocktails and 3 courses. Service would be on top of this. We left feeling full, satisfied and would definitely recommend this as a high quality Vegas restaurant for groups or couples.

Best Steak at Venetian

Great restaurant! Highly recommend! My husband and I split the porterhouse steak and it was delicious! The macaroni and cheese as well as the brussel sprouts were excellent. Recommend over the alternative steakhouse at the Venetian

A Miss at Fine Dining

By Terry K |

My wife treated me to dinner at Cut, part of a birthday celebration (in addition, I am working my way through dining at all of the major steakhouses on the Strip). Unfortunately, Cut did not make the cut among the steakhouses I have experienced to date. Here are some areas where the restaurant missed: When we arrived on time with reservations, the greeter told us to wait outside the restaurant--outside the restaurant is basically the main thoroughfare between the Venetian and the Palazzo. It's strange to stand among passing tourists waiting to dine. We weren't even invited to wait at the bar, which would have been a perfectly good alternative. The ambience was not great for a Vegas steakhouse. The background music was overpowering dance music. Whatever happened to having some softer background music, Sinatra, for example? Overall service was okay--I will say, our assistant server, Mariye, was great--she tried extra hard to do well. The steak I ordered, the dry-aged ribeye, was poorly trimmed. While I expect a decent amount of fat around the steak, this one had way too much, leaving a lot of waste. The steak that I did cut away from the fat was perfectly cooked. However, the seasoning used on the steak was a bit off-putting--there was the the persistent taste of tarragon in every bite, an herb whose flavor doesn't go well with many foods. Also, in selecting my steak, our main server pushed the Wagyu beef a bit too much--I really did know what I wanted. Kudos to the restaurant (or perhaps Mariye) for including a birthday dessert which was delicious. Overall, this is not a steakhouse I would recommend given the number of truly impressive ones on the Strip, with prices that are better.

Peanut Oil

By Sophie S |

We went to Cut to eat dinner. We didn’t end up eating there in the end as we discovered that everything is cooked in Peanut Oil. I was surprised as it’s not mentioned anywhere on their menus. The staff didn’t seem that bothered by it all, which was a shame.

Great dinning experience

By AFriend08 |

Came for a birthday dinner and this restaurant did not disappoint. Their bread and butter appetizer was amazing. Seriously! I know it’s just bread and butter but the selection and the taste was out of this world. Also had the Cesar salad and it came with this crostini with whipped cheese and topped with tomatoes and this dish had me drooling for more! Cocktails were amazing as well as the service!

Good but not grest

By dan |

Good. Not great! 25$ for a very small martini. Seafood tower at 198$ was best we ever had. Steak for three. 220$. Could taste the aging crust which is not appealing. Steak was large and good however. Sides were terrible…German hash browns. Cold and nit good. Mushrooms old and black . Don’t order. He took it off the check. Ice cream sundae so bad. Go to DQ after. Would not go back. Server not sophisticated .but good service. Try steakhouse at circus circus. Much better. Prob best in Vegas. Also try rpm Italian. Best food in Vegas Italian

Dinner before Opium ❤️🖤❤️

By Joanna B |

Absolutely delicious!! Started with west coast oysters and bread/butter. House Cabernet and Pinto Grigio. Half black angus and Wagyu filets with mushrooms and peppers. Cognac peppercorn sauce was perfect. Steaks could not have been cooked more perfect. (One medium rare and one medium). Apple crisp with vanilla ice-cream for dessert was amazing. My only wish was that they had crackers to serve with oysters, but otherwise this was one of our favorite meals before a super fun show! We love Las Vegas ❤️🖤❤️

3.5 Stars ~ a good meal, and yet

By pchnmain |

For a long while, I was skeptical as to whether or not a restaurant affiliated with a celebrity chef was worth the attached premium menu prices. But within the past year, I have dined at several restaurants affiliated with celebrity chefs; I felt those dining experiences were commensurate to the menu prices; and so, my opinion on this matter has softened a bit. Which bring us to "CUT by Wolfgang Puck". Reservation ~ No Reservation ... I dined alone on a Saturday evening. I arrived at about 6:00pm. I did not have a reservation. When I arrived, I stated that I was dining alone and asked if they had available seating. I was told that they didn't have any tables, but seating at the bar was available. (I did notice that there were two-seat tables open--but I don't know if they were reserved, or if the house wanted to keep them open in case a couple arrived.) I finished my meal at about 7:00pm. As I looked around, the restaurant was almost half empty. I joked with the bartender/waiter, "Did everyone run off to catch a show?" "Looks like it, doesn't it?" His response wasn't an answer--but I think I hit on something: Curtain call for a lot of shows is 7:00pm. I suggest, if you're not going to see a show, don't have a dinner reservation, and don't want to get caught in the dinner rush--wait until after 7:00pm. If you have tickets for a performance, make dinner reservations and budget your time accordingly, so that you can enjoy an unrushed meal. Ambiance and décor ... The interior decoration of this restaurant is very nice. The furnishing and fixtures are modern and elegant. There are plenty of light sources, so the restaurant is well lit. And yet, all of the earth tones make the place feel intimate. Service ... As I sat at the bar, I had an individual who was my primary point of contact. But frankly, the entire bar staff did check-ins to make sure my needs were met. I have no complaints about the service received. The Food ... I ordered: the "prime beef" 8-oz filet mignon ($91.00); sautéed wild field mushrooms, with Shishito peppers ($24.00); a Bombay Sapphire gin & tonic ($14.00); and an IPA ($12.00). With tax ($11.81), my ticket was $152.81 before any gratuity. The filet is derived from 21-day wet aged beef. It was very tender; and it had a very good taste and texture. I am sure that the kitchen delayed serving to allow the filet to rest; but by the time it reached me, the steak was "lukewarm" (vs "warm" or "hot"). The mushrooms were prepared well but weren't standout in any way. I have no complaints about my meal--and yet it was just a meal and not an experience. If I simply wanted an 8-oz filet and sauteed mushrooms, I believe that I could find a steakhouse that could serve me a meal of equal quality for less money. But then there's a lot that goes into the calculation of posted menu prices, other than food costs. You're paying for location, overhead, labor, etc.--you're paying to be there.

Delightful Service and Fantastic food

"Best steak I have ever eaten". I have said that the last three trips to Cut.Great service, excellent food and awesome desserts

Incredible

By Yasmin C |

CUT was by far the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had. The level of service was top notch and the food was even better. I could not have asked for more. Absolutely incredible! Kudos to the staff and chefs. My husband and I were truly impressed.

It's not cheap

By HoosierWisdom |

If you are not comfortable paying $75-$100 just for the steak, this is not the place for you. That said, everything here is of the highest quality, from the service, to the decor to the food. The creamed spinach was probably the best I have ever had.

Another amazing visit

By Charlotte A |

We visited 3 years ago and we were very impressed so booked again when revisiting Vegas. A fair few changes since we last came - not being shown the steak choices etc. We had a wonderful meal once again though - amazing steak and dessert! The service tailed off slightly at the end as the restaurant got busier however we would visit again!

Ok dinner

By Lynn L |

The service was impeccable, the food was decent. And the attention to detail was welcomed. I just not sure the value for the food was there. But, it was yummy.

Excellent steaks, excelent service

By Rick S |

Never mind the price if you’ve made your reservation or seen the menu posted outside the restaurant you know what you should expect to pay and the additional costs for the little extras the only thing left is to determine whether the food ambiance and service are worth that price. Let’s just assume for the sake of this review that the cost of a meal here is of no consequences. There are more expensive steakhouses, if I’m allowed to call it that, and there are certainly many less expensive offerings even in the same complex so if price is your biggest gripe dine at an alternative that meets your price point. Of course, I‘m not that impartial, my choice of a well-done steak horrifies chiefs and makes most coinsures at least cringe, baked potatoes of nearly any type bore me senseless and my idea of a dinner cocktail is a simple glass of wine. To me fine dining isn’t fine if you can’t have something you like prepared the way you like it. Cut The menu is a carnivore’s delight with each selection’s pedigree listed sort of like a justification for charging $150 for a steak, not necessary but then again, the menu is brief. Not feeling adventurous we decided on basic favorites we were used to Artisanal Bread, Butter Lettuce Salad a ribeye for me a filet for my wife. My steak well done was cooked evenly, not burnt in other words prepared by some one who knows the not so easy task of cooking a well-done steak without rendering it uneatable. Additional sauces complimented our main course. I was p leasantly shocked at the option of well-seasoned french fries complemented my meal, not spinach, cauliflower or asparagus, thank you. Service was friendly yet professional, efficient yet not rushed, Laszlo did make the obligatory suggestions and asked our preference and he and his associates delivered with measured speed that made the meal feel well choreographed. The food was as good as it should have been neither of us could find fault with anything they served or the way it was prepared. The steak one of the better I’ve had and with the fine accompaniment put it among the best. Arriving near to our reserved time we were told to wait in an atrium like passage way that serves as a walkway between the two hotels, very impersonal for a restaurant of their caliber. We were seated in the main dining room which was cozy yet large enough for diners to feel comfortable especially given our desire to social distance. The contemporary design of the interior was cold and unappealing fortunately the food made up for uninviting and somewhat uncomfortable seating. The restaurant’s location in a high traffic corridor just off the Palazzo’s casino did nothing to enhance its appeal.

Disappointed!!

By toby1kanobi21 |

We were so looking forward to our dinner at Cut. We were so disappointed. I thought the service was sub par. There was zero friendliness from our waiter and he seemed rushed the 2 times he was at the table. More importantly, the steaks were subpar. All of our steaks were over seasoned. Two of the steaks were over cooked. The lack of presentation was really surprising. There was no wow. Steaks were brought out on a plain white plate. Again, no wow. Overall , very disappointed. We were expecting great food and an event. We were let down

It’s okay; nothing more than that.

By RenatodiCaprio |

Although dinner was very good, it’s not WOW what it should be at these steakhouse prices. If you want to charge USD 40 for a shrimp cocktail, be my guest, but then WOW me. Not with six average size shrimps (see pics). Or if you want to charge USD 85 for a 22oz ribeye (nothing special, see pics), make it worth it. If you go to a Prime 112 on Miami Beach they will charge USD 10 per shrimp; but they look like lobsters. It’s just that this Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant is overrated and overpriced for what you get. The Porterhouse tasted like thyme. But I have to say, the chocolate soufflé was TOPS. See the pictures.

A Cut above the rest!

We dined at Cut for my wife's birthday. The staff is truly amazing. They made excellent recommendations. We both had filet's along with amazing sides. The brussel sprouts were delicious! It was a wonderful evening and a top notch dining experience!

A true 5 star

True fine dining in Vegas! Haute cuisine and attentive and super corteous service by the staff. Tres comme il faut!!! Will sure be back soon. Thanks for the most enjoyable dinner we had!

Best restaurant meal of my life!!

By lovewintervacations |

We booked Cut to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. It turns out we hit the restaurant jackpot when we were seated in Jeremy’s section. What a fantastic young man he is!! He made us feel so welcome and special and his menu recommendations were simply OUTSTANDING! We ended up ordering each of his recommendations - the peach salad, the pork belly, the kung pao cauliflower, a steak cooked to perfection and the baked Alaska. Just WOW! I think my hubby and I will talk about that meal for a looooong time to come!

Not worth it and slow.

By f0xkris |

Tough steak and overpriced everything. My husband and I booked this restaurant for the night we were going to see U2 at the sphere. Our reservations were at 5:30 to make time for the tickets. It took about 25 minutes before we got our drinks. The meal itself was not good and my $91 New York was tough and flavorless. The $16 french fries were tasty but such a small serving.

Superb Meal

By SasiCasi311 |

This was a top notch choice that was conveniently in our hotel. Being from Houston with its own amazing food scene. I wanted to make sure and hit some of the impressive upscale dining in Las Vegas. This did not disappoint. The bread board was an amazing starter. My favorite was the flatbread with cracker consistency and the olive ciabatta. My husband loved the sourdough and the butter was out of this world. We also had the prosciutto. and burrata. It was good but I think we would try something different next time. I had the fresh oysters for my main which were really fantastic although I had some really small ones. The Waygu filet was outstanding as were our sides of potato puree and Brussel sprouts. Really great experience. Side note - if you are trying to have a romantic meal this is not the place. It was busy and the vibe is designed to be cool and contemporary which translates to loud. Also if you are on the fence about the bone-in tomahawk - just do it! I wasn't feeling all that hungry when we went but the couple sitting next to us ordered it - very jealous. We had already ordered but will be back and will definitely be getting the tomahaw.

Wonderful!

Excellent service! Eric made sure to take care of all the allergies in the group. Cocktails were delicious, a great selection of wines and wonderful full. Excellent food, prepared delicious even for people with allergies. Apple fennel salad delicious, all salads were perfect and the meat cooked to perfection. We will go back.

Shocking service spoiled the night

By GTW11111 |

Charging $125 for a steak entree should mean everything aspect is perfect. However the service was worse than McDonald’s, at least there you don’t get ignored! Our appetiser was completely forgotten about and never turned up. We waited over an hour from sitting down before we had any food. Service staff were arrogant and dismissive. No real apology for leaving us alone and forgetting our order. At least the filets were lovely but we’ll never go back to Cut.

Disappointing after such high hopes

By Jason |

Reservations were made a few days before and I have to say the system works fantastic. They confirmed with me the day of and even gave me an option to add a birthday cake as it was my wife’s birthday. They were very accommodating and great communication. Once seated we were left with not more than a slab of menus for almost 15-20 min. They finally brought waters for the table and then another 10 min goes by before anyone came to take our drink order. 10 min later the food order so what I’m saying is the staff didn’t seem very attentive however did spend most time with large groups and tables more so than our little 4 seat table. That’s not the worst part of the experience. After reviewing the menu and asking some questions we finally ordered our food. Two “ porterhouses for two “ with a side of potato purée and creamed spinach. We asked if the salads were big enough to share and they said the Caesar salad would be fine for two so we ordered two of those along with a artesian bread board. The bread was two crackers, two quarter sized pretzel rolls and two blueberry muffin ciabatta breads also about the size of a quarter maybe half dollar. Needless to say for the high cost they charge for table bread it wasn’t nearly enough for the table. The salads were even more of a disappointment. Each plate had a stack of 3-4 leaves with a strange tasting non traditional Caesar dressing. A few bites and it’s done. Once again the cost 20-30 per salad is insane for what you get and the quality was marginal. Tasted as if it was prepared in the morning and stored in the refrigerator until needed. The main course: the two steaks came out Luke warm and greasy. By the time I got my first bite it was almost cold. The seasoning was bland almost no flavor and the meat had lots of fat and chewy parts. Not what you expect at a very high end restaurant. The Potato purée tasted like it was instant mashed potatoes out of a box. The creamed spinach was ok. We got our birthday cake (which cost an additional $50) and it was excellent however overpriced for what it was. Some of the chocolate accents and such were a bit stale and old. They service just never seemed to care about our table after not ordering wine or alcohol along with some ridiculous $600 wagu ribeye. It basically felt like “ well this table isn’t spending $2k or more so let’s leave them hanging and get them in and out quickly and treat them as such “. For having traveled the world and growing up overseas I have tasted high end cuisine and this was definitely not the case with CUT. I don’t know if I will try again In the future.

Delish and nicely presented

By Ellen P |

Everything you would hope for in a delicious, beautifully presented dinner with gracious and attentive staff. The American wagyu filet mignon was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I took away one star because some of the dishes were crazy-overpriced for what you get. Otherwise it was a treat.

Best Steakhouse in Las Vegas

By Mike from C'ville |

Las Vegas has many amazingly good steakhouses, but I find Cut the best, even in this competitive city. The steaks vary from high end USA raised prime beef to the American Wagyu beef from Idaho, to Japanese Wagyu (more than just Kobe). The pureed Yukon gold potatoes are a particularly outstanding side, as is the creamed spinach. They have a wonderful cheese board with fresh honeycomb from the beehive on the roof. I find the service consistently good. The prices are substantial, but it is a wonderful place to eat when you want share a truly outstanding steak dinner with family or colleagues.

Dinner with colleagues

By Luke C |

My first time ever seeing here with all the times I’ve been out here. This was a great place! The waygu steaks were fantastic. The old fashion trolly cart I had never seen before but would highly recommend. The best old fashion I’ve ever had! Ambiance and staff made the experience great.

Maybe best Meal of my Lifetime!

By desvw1029 |

In Vegas, for a sort of annual visit in October and we had friends out there at the same time. They treated us to dinner at Cut and I mean it was possibly the best meal I have ever had! The filet just melted in my mouth...barely needed to cut it. The sides were outstanding as well. Service was aces. Now the bill was HIGH, very high, so we insisted on leaving the tip, but this place tops about any I have ever been to in Vegas!!

What the PUCK???

By Patrick R |

Dear Mr. Puck, Expectation we’re high for my 75th birthday dinner at your restaurant on 27 February. Didn’t take long for your staff and finally the dinner to completely all thoughts of enjoyment. We arrived at our reserved time of 8PM only to be told to sit down and wait for a table which we did for 30 minutes. We finally were seated in a side booth with a view of the kitchen corridor. Again the wait to be acknowledged and water (in tiny glasses) arrived after 15 minutes. First waiter arrived later to ask our beverage choices. Wine and ice tea arrived about 10 minutes later. From this point we sat and sat and set until another waiter brought menus and disappeared again! We did finally get to order only to be told our meal would be out in 35-40 minutes (It’s now past 9PM). We received zero attention for the next 30 minutes but couldn’t help but notice the bee hive activity for the tables with seating for 8 or more parsons. It appears that your staff is only interested in volume tables (more drinks, high dollar meals and tips) than the several couples also seated by us along the wall. We were not the only couple being ignored! The meal finally shows😱, what a disappointment. Steak ($100 center cut ribeye) comes presented by itself sitting in the center of a cold large white platter. Creamed spinach could be better made by my 2 year old grandson as it was wet, thin and had large chunks of sour cream, had to be eaten with a spoon. Side of peppers and mushrooms was over cooked and soggy. Oh, did I mention the entire meal was cool and the steak was overdone! Well at this point what to do? It is now 9:45PM, there is not a server in sight as all the available are glued to large occupied tables, the meal is basically crap as a whole and we are fed up. Just to sum up, Mr. Puck you need to go back to Golden Corral and take some lessons! Expectations were shattered, reality was more than disappointing and return visits will never happen! 😩

Worth it!

By mjanulis |

Wolfgang, you are still the man! If you have a meal to splurge in Vegas you could do far, far worse than Cut. If it’s not a splurge go anyway. The mains are as great as you’d expect, but the surprise is the supporting characters, seriously that cracker in the bread service is a gift from god, how did you do that? The Mac and cheese is delicious, the brocolini is kicked up a notch, and for a steakhouse the wine list has some really reasonable choices. Service is attentive and friendly but not overbearing. We will be back!

Outstanding meal-best steak ever and great cocktails

By befriedman |

My wife and I were here to celebrate an anniversary. This place is classy and first rate. Superb American Waygu steak, probably the best steak I've ever had. Other items, including dessert, were also excellent. Get the "Locked and Loaded" cocktail. It's pricey but worth it. We have copied the recipe and make it at home.

Epicurean Adventure

Amazing service. I counted 7 people in all attending our small table. The food was perfect with interesting ideas. The Puck, Paul Lato, pinot noir was stunning and the ambience beguiling. You can’t do better in Las Vegas for a fabulous dining experience. George

Excellent steak

By JAE* |

We started with Martinis and West Coast Oysters. Both were perfect. We also tried the three different types of bread that were served complimentary. The breads were super yummy. Our waiter was very professional and provided excellent service. He explained the different selections of meats on the menu and on the meat display thoroughly. We decided to share the porterhouse steak. The steak was cooked just as we ordered with a perfect sear. We also ordered the corn side and mashed potatoes. Both were delicious. The corn was our favorite. For desert we tried the banana pudding. Beautiful presentation!! The pudding is inside a chocolate ball. When the server poured sauce over the chocolate, the ball began to open until the pudding inside was revealed. Very impressive. The interior of the restaurant is open and elegant yet welcoming.

Don’t waste your time

Cannot think of anything good to say. Service was crap, atmosphere was load and uncomfortable, drinks were small and far between and last but not least food is better at Golden Coral!

One of the best steak dinners I've ever had

Hands down one of The Best dining experiences we've ever had. From the staff, to the food, to the drinks, to literally everything involved with dining out was second to none. EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!!!

BEST STEAK OF MY LIFE

By james5stars |

One of the finest restaurant experiences I’ve had in Las Vegas. The service was impeccable. The staff were plentiful yet invisible until you needed something or they anticipated i might need something. This is THE STANDARD for exceptional wait staff. The wagyu steak was without a doubt the very best steak I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. The decor and ambience/lighting is very dark but it works well in this restaurant. Kudos to the chef, staff and management for an exceptional dining experience.

Loved it!

I definitely remember the steak, i not a big fun of beef but.. trust me… you have to try it here! And don’t forget red wine, the selection is huge! Loved it!

Maybe not the best meal on the Strip

By Dldeneen |

We went to Cut for my Male Companion's birthday celebration. It was one of the few restaurants in Vegas that he hadn't visited during his approximately 50 trips over the last few years. I made reservations over a month in advance. When we arrived, we were seated at a table right across from the kitchen entrance: subpar. Our waiter spent most of his time dealing with the 8 men at the table to our right who were guzzling the booze. Our filets, which we ordered medium to medium well, were butterflied to cook faster. Our salads, which included one with three pieces of hearts of romaine (he doesnt like hearts of romaine) and a bit of dressing and a couple of croutons AND one that was 5 (yes five) leaves of plain romaine were $21 each. Our dinner was over $300. Now I have no problem paying that much for a meal when I am treated and seated with more care. But I took him to the Foundation Room the next night and got an almost identical meal (both included wine) and it was $200 and had impeccable service. We also had a lovely view of the strip and a really cool view of Janet Airlines. I would pick the Foundation Room any day of the week!! And our filets were not butterflied~~

Going Downhill

By yvette e |

My husband and I have been going to CUT for several years, but since they brought in a new manager and cook it’s been terrible. My husband steak has been over cooked and manager (male) has bad attitude when asked about getting another steak. He also had a reservation for our usual table and upon arrival was told with attitude his table was closed. This place we have had many of our friends go too as well as business coworkers but we can easily direct them elsewhere from now on.

Great steaks!

By Travel X |

One of the best restaurants in town…food was delicious and the service was on point. I had a perfectly cooked Wagyu steak.

Overpriced and unimpressive $700 Wagyu

By DrMikeinNJ |

Unimpressed. I’ve been to steakhouses all over the world. Was excited to try Cut while staying at the Palazzo. Unfortunately the evening from start to finish was just okay. The location is just off the Palazzo by the entrance to the shoppes. Concierge at the Palazzo had made the e reservation and for whatever reason the restaurant couldn’t find it. Regardless they fit us in at 6:15. We went early at 5:45 to have a drink at the bar. The seats were full, and they wouldn’t allow us to stand at the bar. Fine. So we went back to the Palazzo bar, grabbed some martinis, and they wouldn’t allow us in with the drinks, so we stood outside the restaurant while we finished. Got more cocktails inside— old fashioneds were good, but the Negronis and other old fashioneds were oversweetened. Sent one back and they still charged us for it. Apps— got a butter lettuce salad which was okay, bread basket (which was a separate charge) and some tuna dish which was not memorable. For dinner, the waiter talked us into the Japanese wagyu to share. We spent $700 on this steak, only to get a steak which was poorly seasoned, not too flavorful, and full of fascia and connective tissue. This was not high quality Wagyu and as three of us were disappointed, we joked how any steakhouse in New York would have been better than the waste we just spent $700 on. Needless to say, after the disappointment we skipped dessert and went to see U2 at the sphere, a much more memorable aspect of our vacation.

Excellent quality

By Bill L |

An excellent assortment of steaks. Best service I have ever experienced. The steaks were too big for my wife and me but they had no problem splitting a steak for us. The sides were also excellent.

At least twice a month!!

From start to finish AMAZING.... Service was over the top fantastic... Food... RIDICULOUS... Everything on the table was excellent.. The Wagyu Ribeye was like butter.... DEFINITELY top five in Vegas

Great Vegas Steakhouse

Food was extremely good, great wine selection, great service from staff throughout dinner. Price for some might be high but whether a splurge or casual dinning for some, worth it.

One of the worst steakhouses I've been to. Walmart steaks for $100!

By TheDon00009 |

On my last night in Vegas I decided to treat myself to a nice steak dinner. I don't mind the price if it is quality. This place was extremely disappointing. I ordered their 22 dollar wagyu sliders to start. They were the smallest sliders, I have ever seen, and they were well done, and burnt on the inside. Had to send them back. Tasty. But you could get better sliders at Grand Lux for half the price, that are not "wagyu", and get more. I wish I would have went there instead. This place is a tourist trap, ripping people off of their hard earned money. I then ordered their snake eye 8 oz American wagyu steak. $95!! Are you serious?I was expecting the steak of my life for this price. It was average at best. I usually dont indulge in such fine dining, this was supposed to be a treat for me for such a hard work year. The spices on the steak were great, a nutty flavor with a nice char. However, there were many pieces that were filled with way too much fat, and very little meat. I felt as if I were eating a 15 dollar steak from stop and shop (my grocery store). I saw one Google Review which stated they are buying Walmart steaks, and passing them off as "Wolfgang's" and pocketing the profits. I agree. $140 plus tip for a Walmart steak. Told the manager who listened to my feedback, but did nothing. Not even a comp. dessert. Do not come here. The quality of the steaks does not match the prices they are charging. The only reason for the 3 star rating, is the service was great. However they gave you the smallest cup of water ever, and I had to actually ask for a bigger glass with ice. I will not be returning, and I can't recommend this place.

Rocked our world

By HollSchutt |

From the exceptional butter lettuce salad with avocado and light dressing to the most deliciously marbled dry aged Waygu rib eye to the Brussels sprouts that were done but seasoned with just a touch of hot sauce, this restaurant rocked our world. Lazlo, our waiter, was patient explaining and showing us the various cuts of meat and even though it was dinner time and the truffle hamburger was only on the lunch menu he accommodated us. To top it all off he recommended the banana cream dessert that was a round ball that after pouring caramel sauce over it melted beautifully and the inside was delectable. Thank you C. U. T. - for topping off an amazing four days in the Meadows.

Expected more

By Lori G |

We ordered the US Wagyu Ribeye and the Filet. Both were good steaks, but not Wagyu quality. We've had outstanding Wagyu before and have fairly high standards of it. I also think the steaks could have been seasoned heavier. The service was super good, atmosphere was nice, and drinks really good. Won't be going back though.

Service and appetizers were

By Nagster123 |

Service and appetizers were great. The steak was beyond disappointing, I get that you may want to season the steak but not to the point that you totally mask the taste of the meat. I basically had a thyme with steak (porterhouse). Also, the steak was little dry for my taste which was surprising. Not a fan!

“Ok Cut.... You Win”

By Summit Seeker |

We had eaten here previously a few years back, with an overall good experience; but nothing to write home about. I remember a very good steak(in line with Ruth’s Chris or Morton’s), some weird side items, and generally good service. Fast forward a bit, and was enticed by a few in our small group to give this place another go. One familiar point I noticed right off, is what I refer to as an ultra modern design approach; one that I soon recalled from last time. At first, to me it appears a bit too modern. But the clean lines are the new trend I suppose; and as much as I’m used to the oak, mahogany and rich leather to be a staple in a quality steakhouse, this new trend is growing on me..... but only a little, as I still say these seats aren’t the most relaxing after a day of hustle n bustle. Well, I’m just saying.... Enough of all that: On to the Beef! The menu here is an absolute carnivore’s dream sheet. There’s prime beef from various locations around the globe: even American and Japanese Wagyu can be had, if money is no object. Went with the Nebraska Dry Aged Prime NY strip, cooked a perfect med-rare; which did not disappoint. The nutty flavor, from the dry aged process; along with the tenderness of this particular steak made for a better “cut” than I remember from my last go around. Oh, and the steak was seasoned perfectly as well. This was truly one of the better strips I’ve tried anywhere: at least in recent memory. Before all that, sampled the Butter Lettuce Salad, which was very good. Also shared a chilled plate of oysters, which tasted quite fresh. Creamed spinach, wild mushrooms, and sautéed white corn seemed like safe bets for our shared side items: and were. The sweet corn was the show stopper here: Quite tasty for such a simple vegetable dish. Service here was just excellent. Our servers, working in a team concept, met and exceeded every need and expectation. Glasses were kept full, and food was brought out in perfect sequence. All the servers seemed friendly, without being too intrusive. Our lead did a fantastic job of stirring us toward some tasty cocktails, as well as a bottle or two of excellent wine. The service here is among the best we’ve tried of the so called high end prime steakhouses in Vegas. One would have to venture on up to the super high end French level of restaurants(Joel Robuchon, Picasso, Guy Savoy, etc), to surpass the excellent staff found here at CUT, in my opinion: So no worries... Overall, this place has finally won me over. The decor is finally wearing me down; the service was, as written, nothing short of perfect for this price level: But none of this would matter; if the steaks weren’t worthy. But they are: and then some. Oh, and I did finally sample a bite or 3, of their rather pricey American Wagyu located just 2 uncomfortable seats away: from which I’ve already decided; that on my next visit, “you’re mine for a nite”.... Put CUT on your small list of Sin City’s finest, and indulge.

THIS IS NOT FINE DINING!

By John G |

This restaurant tries so hard to be a fine dining experience that it comes across as pretentious. The bigger problem is that the food is average at best. The $100 steak was a mere 4 Oz and even came with a little gristle...not that anyone asked me how the steak was prepared. Two out of five dishes were very good, but again, that is not the expectation of a fine dining experience. Servers did a fairly good job, but they should check in with their patrons regarding their satisfaction, especially when food is returned uneaten. We tipped 25% and left, but we will not be back. Disappointing!

Well Done, CUT... Thankfully, Not My Ribeye

By Out of Office with Not the HR Lady |

If you're going to do Vegas for a conference, you do it right... stay somewhere fabulous, wear your sharpest blazer, and book at least one meal that feels like a reward for surviving panel discussions and fluorescent-lit ballrooms. For me, that meal was CUT at The Venetian / Palazzo. It’s sleek. It’s sexy. It’s Wolfgang. And it’s where I found myself, post-conference, heels in hand (mentally), looking for something equal parts celebratory and comforting. A Workcation reward, if you will. CUT feels like the place where a merger might happen over martinis. The lighting is moody but not annoying, the staff is polished, and if you're a solo diner or a duo like we were, you'll still feel like the moment is yours. It’s upscale without being try-hard. They move in a dance. We were seated near a table full of executives doing exactly what I was doing all week... pretending they weren't still working while talking over red wine. Our server knew the menu and the wine list like it was a TED Talk... efficient and articulate. That said, the warmth? A little lacking. I get it... Vegas is busy, and CUT is high-end volume, but a touch more humanity would’ve gone a long way. Still, they had our water filled, our cocktails right, and our timing well-managed between courses. Just... no “wow” moment from the team. Let’s talk steak. I had the ribeye, cooked rare. And while it was technically done well, it lacked the depth and sear I expect at this level. Justin tried the dry-aged New York strip, which had a stronger flavor profile and that umami-crusted edge you want from a $100+ cut. The sides? Show-stealers. The bone marrow flan and creamed spinach were standouts. Like, lick-the-spoon level. And the bread service... yes, I’m that girl... was next-level. Truly memorable. We also tried a tableside cocktail experience, and I can’t lie... it was theater I didn’t know I needed at such a fine restaurant. If you're in Vegas for a conference or a leadership event (like I was — delivering a keynote, no less), CUT delivers the environment that makes you feel important. But don’t expect every single item to hit Michelin levels of perfection. Would I go back? Yes, but I’d skip the ribeye and try the wagyu next time, because if you're gonna go CUT... go big or go back to your hotel mini bar.

Delicious

Delicious! A very personal experience! Staff constantly used our names and made our evening very memorable. Food was fab interior was fab! Bring your wallet full! It is expensive!

The chef had prepared the steak to perfection.

By Frank |

The restaurant was completely full on the night we were there, which caused a lot of noise. More attention should have been paid to noise reduction when designing the restaurant's interior. Because it was so noisy, it sometimes became difficult to understand your table companions properly. This is also the only negative thing about the restaurant, the rest of the evening was more than perfect. Our waiter was super attentive and friendly, and he nicely helped us. Our steaks were prepared to perfection, juicy and perfectly pink inside. It's definitely not cheap, but it was worth it compared to other restaurants in Vegas.

Perfect Service, Atmosphere and Evening

It’s great when you get the outstanding personable service and attention when you go to a nice upscale restaurant. The CUT never disappoints. The best service, attention, atmosphere and food! Perfect for our 30th anniversary!

Great service and food

My wife and I enjoyed our experience at Cut. I had the Australian Wagyu Ribeye and my wife had the Filet Mignon. Both were outstanding and cooked to perfection. The creamed spinach was excellent and complimented the steaks. For dessert, we enjoyed the BCP Sphere which was excellent. Worth the money spent.

Cut Steak House at Palazzo

By KLatta |

Based on menu pricing and the name, I expected it to be a wow experience. Service was not good. Waiter was MIA most of the time. Didn’t even stop by once steaks arrived to see how they were cooked. Seems like he was not really into is job and going through the motion. No table cloth dining either. I expect that at $100 per steak. Steak was just OK. I have had much better and we eat at steak houses a lot. Best part of dinner was the salad and the cream spinach. Overall experience was just not there for a very expensive steak house.

Steaks are fantastic

By Zach J |

Steaks are phenomenal here, some of the best I’ve ever had and I have definitely dined at my fair share of steakhouses. Would recommend to everyone

Cut can deliver for a large group.

By Plongweaver |

FantasticValentines before Eagles Concert. Steaks were perfect as were sides. Helpful staff and very good selections. They were mindful of our concert time but we were not rushed. One minor issue they do not have saltines (crackers) to go with oysters on the half shell so we passed. Emeril's had them the next day.

Amazing Service, Great Steaks, Sides to Die For

By bobglatz |

I love this place! We had a table of 6 business people in town for the Consumer Electronics Show. We shared several different cuts of steak, each better than the last. The sides were all spectacular. Everything is served is beautiful surroundings by knowledgable, attentive staff. All together, it made for a very special evening. I highly recommend.

EVEN BETTER than their SG Branch

By KC U |

Every time I go to Singapore, CUT has been my GO TO steak place there. I ALMOST didn't go to their Vegas one because I wanted to check out other Steak places. FORTUNATELY we ended up eating at Cut still. It was actually even better than their Singapore Branch. Both are extremely good but I guess the meat in their Vegas branch is a lot better. EVERYTHING was good. STEAK WAS AMAZING! TIP -- Order two sales for your steak. Bernaise and Red wine Bordelaise. I ordered the Filet Mignon. SOOO GOOOD!!! A MUST! Service was great too. And of course they have a lot of good selection of wines. Place is really nice too. :)

Best Steak House Ever!

By Pat F |

It was an exceptional experience. Both the food quality, taste and service were amazing. Probably the best steak house experience we have had.

A change not for the better

By Maxim64us |

Someone really changed this place for the worse. I have been going yearly on trips to Las Vegas and the quality is always excellent. This time the prices are higher. Also they eliminated the bread basket you would be served and the great bread sticks which I thought was a trademark item. We ordered steaks and my wife’s was ordered medium well and arrived charred in the top which was promptly fixed. The steaks were adequate but not worth the high price.

NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY

We ate before our concert at the Sphere! All amazing! We had Laslo as our server….he was great! Super friendly. I had the Lu De Mar. it’s a full fish they bring out and debone right in front of you. Wife had the Filet. Everything was outstanding! They also have a cart that walks around making Old Fashioned drinks. I didn’t have one. But all that did said was next level. Make this a stop in Vegas!

Pricey but came away impressed

Food was amazing. My steak was cooked perfectly. They have so many different grades and cuts of steak to choose from. Service was great as well. Definitely will bring the gf next time. By the way, we were about to get a table for 4 on a Friday night, without reservations. Unheard of on the strip.

Disappointing experience at highly recommended restaurant

By Mike P |

This came as a highly recommended restaurant and yet proved a disappointment in many ways. We had requested a round table and whilst some appeared to be available, we were not given one. The service was slow. As expected, the prices were high but the quality did not match up to the star rating. The bill was reduced due to the problems we met which was fair enough but we would not go back again.

INCREDIBLE!!!

The meal I had at Cut was thee best I've had in Vegas in the last 10 years. Everything was amazing!!!! Our wait staff (Ben & Roberto) did an amazing job and should be commended for their efforts. We started with amazing beef skewers, then mini lobster rolls, then the most delightful ceviche then prawns and filet mignon. Let me just say, every bite was better than the last. Just amazing. Everything was perfect. When you find yourself in Vegas, you need to visit this restaurant.

One of my favorite steakhouses anywhere...

By Mike from C'ville |

Cut is a long-standing favorite steakhouse in Las Vegas, a city with multiple fine dining steakhouses. I ate there with limited expectations due to pandemic restrictions. My experience was mixed but largely positive. On the positive side, the steaks remain excellent; I personally prefer the Snake River Wagyu - an innovative blend of traditional Angus and Wagyu. The pureed Yukon gold potatoes were stellar and the creamed spinach as good as ever. I had a tomato and Burrata salad that was very good (not the best I have had but far from the worst). The service remains solid, may waiter was knowledgeable and helpful. The dessert selections were limited and not especially attractive. On the less positive side, the reception staff were far less than stellar,; I was told to wait in the corridor outside the restaurant (supposedly to ensure social distancing) while the staff at the front desk/podium did no such thing and not all wore masks. The menu was inexplicably limited - I was told the cheese board was "suspended" due to COVID restrictions and the need to provide table side service while they pushed a "cocktails cart" that mixed drinks TABLE SIDE....ridiculous. I remain hopeful they will restore their menu and I will return for the generally stellar food - at least one more time.

Expensive and very good.

The restaurant has an attractive modern interior and offers a few different seating choices. I recommend reservations. The service was attentive and professional. The menu is geared towards red meat dishes and they are expensive - even for Vegas. The two dishes I tried were very good and perfectly cooked. The presentation was excellent and the ingredients were top shelf. The experience is very good. But, I found it to be too expensive. You will easily spend $500 for two + wine.
