My husband and I wanted to try something new but a seafood establishment. From entering to the server the experience was excellent. We started off with mussels and chargrilled oysters. Moved to the sea bass special for the evening and jumbo shrimp (regular item). The seafood is fresh and deliver daily. Ended with creme brûlée. I’m ready to go back already.

We stumbled upon C&S Seafood by chance after finding it last minute on Trip Advisor. We really enjoyed our meal. The restaurant has an old-school feel and was charming. Our server was very attentive and was happy to provide suggestions upon request. We started with a dozen of assorted oysters which were delicious. Our entrees were also very good, particularly the grilled swordfish with a beurre blanc sauce.

We enjoyed my husband’s birthday dinner starting with craft cocktails at the bar and then oysters, appetizers and dinner. Cocktails pictured were a gin and tonic and filthy old fashioned. Both were great in taste and presentation. Tried two types of oysters - they didn’t have the full bar due to COVID. They were $2.50-3.50 per oyster and nicely presented. We had clam chowder (excellent) and calamari (wouldn’t get it again) followed by grilled shrimp with the ginger soy sauce and scallops meuniere. Shrimp and scallops were perfectly cooked and sauces were flavorful. Entrees were served with a small side of red potatoes and green beans (no substitutions). Service was efficient and friendly. I give a four instead of five due to the price point. We spent more than $200 and although everything was very good, I would expect amazing for a dinner at that level.

This is our go-to place for big celebrations. We only go once or twice a year but it is such a treat. For me, the Prime New York Strip combined with the Fried Lobster Tail is my favorite meal in Atlanta. Add some garlic mashed, and their Caesar salad....plus the char-grilled oysters to start it all off. It is a great atmosphere with excellence service always.

This property is in the Vinings area. They opened their restaurant early during the pandemic. They socially distance, installed plexiglass partitions between the booths, and sanitize carefully. Their food is simply excellent. They offer all types of seafood, a large selection of oysters, and excellent service. They are very attentive to their customers and really try to do everything right every time.

My husband and I love to go here for an impeccable dinner with a perfect wine selection too. Freddie’s service tonight was outstanding. He loves people and it shows. I had the Sea Bass special, unbelievable! You won’t be disappointed!

I happen to be on business in Atlanta this week. This restaurant was great! I highly recommend they homemade chips with parmesan. I enjoyed Lobster. The lobster and vegetables were good. They accidentally brought me carrots, which I hate. I went ahead and ate a bite or two and I must say that the carrots were exceptional! The reason I give it a great review is over and above the food the service was exceptional. The fact that I got served the wrong vegetable was immediately corrected. Niko maybe one of the best servers I've had in a restaurant. The atmosphere is very upbeat and if you want to sit at the bar I'm sure there's great conversation. I said at a quiet small table to myself but was very well taken care of. Don't let the fact that it's in a strip mall turn you off because it's a very nice restaurant.

This was our first visit and we will return. The food was fresh, tasty and well worth the money. The oyster appetizers are all good. Service was attentive and there was someone there when needed. A must stop for seafood in Atlanta.

A colleague recommended C&S to us and we went for dinner. We did not have a reservation, but we were early in the dinner hour so got a table immediately. The bread they serve is delicious and the butter was just right. I had one of the evening specials, Sea Bass Oscar and it was wonderful, perfectly cooked.

Late lunch with associate. Were were sat down quickly. Nice selection of NE and NW oysters. Which we did not try. But will be back to do so Tuna poke bowl was fresh. Service was very good. Can’t wait to try again for a dinner to see wine list and try dinner menu

Excellent! This was a wonderful detour once we could not get into another location- the service was excellent, our server “Shamika” was perfect, being attentive- and suggestions on point this drink she recommended is now my favorite.

I had a late dinner at C&S while in town for business. The atmosphere was lively and the menu was filled with fabulous (and expensive) seafood options. I had a small selection of oysters ($2.50-$3.50 each) and grilled redfish ($34). The oysters were excellent and the fish was decadent. Great service as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone willing to spend some money on great seafood.

Two of us went some time in 2022. I can't remember much about the food because we couldn't enoy it. I do remember that the bill was at least $200. We had a table for two just past the wall that separates the bar from the restaurant. There were about 6 rowdy folks at the bar, and about 6 more standing in the isle who were joining the party. This group appeared to feel that they were beyond being asked to behave. The restaurant did NOTHING to ask them to either pipe down, or leave. I guess they felt that there would be more trouble if they had asked them to behave with consideration for the other patrons. Based on this experience, we will not be going back. We wanted a quiet date night, and got to view some apparently privileged and rowdy behavior. We are seeing this sort of thing more and more these days in Atlanta as these special folks exercise their "rights".

This had to be the worst value for money we have experienced in years. $400 for 2 people with only one main dish got us a good $125 bottle of wine, tasteless bread and butter, and average salads for one, very salty lobster springs rolls, awful soggy truffle fries, and a combo of very dry lobster and a not too bad bone-in ribeye. The steak was really the only decent item but in no way better than any other half decent steak house in the area. The service was average to below par with our server not even bothering to mention the specials which we overheard being told to the table next to us. Don’t waste your hard earned dollars here. There are far better choices.

Every one of us enjoyed our meal. I actually asked for something off-menu and it was prepared wonderfully by the chef. The waitstaff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I would definitely return.

My wife and I love C&S for the casual ambience, warm service and consistently good food. Fresh oysters offer varied selection. Customers and staff interact with one another unlike stiffer locations. The menu is varied enough to please and small enough to do every item well. Arnold is the best; attentive to customers and allowing no slack among the employees. IMO one has to work very hard not to be well satisfied.

The worst restaurant with the worst service and food! It took them 40 minutes to get us a table! Once sitting it took them 30 minutes to bring one appetizer and two bottles of water! After one hour no food! We were starving! We walk away!

I generally don't expect much in the way of seafood somewhere where it is not caught outside the door Oceanside. This place is a pleasant surprise. Had some Chargrilled oysters that were the best I have had since Dragos in New Orleans Tuna Tartare was fresh and tasty. Also sampled the raw oysters and was not at all disappointed. Served with potato chips for scooping. All in all a huge cudos to C&S Seafood & Oyster bar!

My wife and I went for our anniversary. Service was great, our server bought us a glass of champagne and dessert. The chargrilled oysters are incredible as was all the food. The atmosphere is great not stuffy, love this restaurant.

If you love top class service and mouth-watering good food, then this is the place!!! Visiting to celebrate a friend's birthday and had the pleasure of having Darrin for our server...he is the BEST!!! He took. excellent care of us, explaining, advising and checking in on us frequently even though he had other tables. You must order the lobster tails, the salmon or the grouper..they're all well-prepared, even the Rib eye steak was amazing and very tender! The bread pudding for dessert was mouthwatering. We prefer to be served warm bread, but once we mentioned it to Darrin he immediately provided such. The manager even stopped by and was very pleasant. Will definitely be returning for another exceptional meal with Darrin!!!!

I have enjoyed C&S a few times, typically with business colleagues over dinner. This visit was for lunch, just a 2-person business meeting. I was able to secure seating through Open Table so that was a plus since we didn't have to wait to be seated. The lunch wait staff were very attentive, they are well-staffed and have excellent attitudes. Food is always excellent, fresh, healthy choices, lots of options. Was able to have a great lunch meal and lunch meeting there.

Amazing! Every single bite was delicious. The chargrilled oysters were on point. The daily special was beautiful and wonderful and my snapper was great! Our waiter. Ryan was GREAT and the bar service was excellent. We finished with the creme brûlée and it may have been the best one I have ever had. Don’t let the strip mall location keep you from an amazing meal.

First I would like to say thanks to our wonderful servers Jasmine and Brandon we made our special night out a great success. The food was to die for, the complimentary champagne and dessert was on point. It was worth the drive from Memphis.

Flew out for dinner with my girlfriend for our first time, John and his partner/trainee Alex were wonderful and took great care of us! Seabass Oscar and Redfish were amazing. Highly recommend!

Eric our waiter gave excellent service. He was cheerful and informative. Very prompt and efficient. Now what to say about the food, other than it was Delicious. From the Oyster Rockefeller to the Key Lime pie we were very pleased. The Redfish, Shrimp, and the Grouper was prepared nicely.

One of many visits to C&S for some of the best seafood in town. Cool location and vibe (small 'ish') and A+ Service and A+ drinks.

My family is in town visiting so I told them we had to go to C&S oyster bar after I saw them in Atlanta Eats TV. Let me just say...FABULOUS. I started off with the Willamette Pinot Noir...FANTASTIC. Then on to the king crab legs...OH. MY. GOD. Slap yo momma good. On to the filet...holy mother of pearl...best cut of meat I have ever had. I topped it off with the lemon herb Bierce blanc...BOYYYYYY Freddie was our server. BEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD. Truly amazing. Great sense of humor, knowledgeable of the menu and computers, cars, and well...other things. He went above and beyond and made our experience absolutely unforgettable. I will be back here as soon as possible, as long as Freddie is our server. Amazing food, great ambiance, even better service. Ask for Freddie!!!!!

Always enjoy meeting our oyster loving friends here for dinner. The oysters are the best here, service is always excellent!

Had a great experience many years ago at this restaurant. I thought I would try it again today. Not busy during lunch. Very dark interior. Our waiter was pleasant. I had broiled Seabass Hong Kong style with broccoli. Others had grilled halibut and red snapper. The food was very good. We split key lime pie and a chocolate cake like dessert with ice cream. One issue. We were surrounded by fruit flies. There were at least five fruit flies at our table of four. It was a distraction during the entire meal. Even though the food and service were fine, this should not be an issue in a fine dining restaurant. They gave us our desserts on the house.

This restaurant never disappoints-we are making the rounds to find the perfect seafood spot in Atlanta and I think we have found something we both can honestly say "that's the one". Food, wine list, craft cocktails. C&S has it all and the service levels continue to be one of the best in the area. We definitely plan to make this a standard in our rotation.

Eric our server was awesome. He had good recommendations and was there when we needed something. Told him we were not in a hurry. Had drinks and dinner and walked out about 3’hrs after we showed up. Oyster were good, chowder awesome as were the stone crab claws and scallops. Service and food were top notch. Price is what u would expect for a place like this. Which is not a negative but u know the old saying u get what u pay for. Worth the $$.

My wife and I planned a trip to Atlanta. This was our big meal out. What a big DISAPPOINTMENT. Our reservation was on time. The oysters were great. If I'm spending $150+ on dinner I do not want tvs playing a soccer game. Dont get me wrong. I love soccer but at an appropriate venue. My blackened grouper was good BUT there was no spice and the cajun sauce could be described as a tomato cream sauce. My wife was not as lucky. Her redfish was so thin it may have been cut in half. Also overcooked. I have caught and prepared redfish so I know how it should taste. The restroom was located down the hall in the rear of the reastaurant where you had to crawal over excess furniture. Oh, the seat in the bathroom was cracked. They were in such a hurry to clear the table that the waiter tried to take the oyster plate away with one oyster still in the shell. Did I mention that after we declined dessert and requested our check that a Thank You was no where to be found. We will return to Atlanta but will pass on C&S. Try the chain named after a pirate if you want seafood.

We used to live in Vinings but moved out of the area a few years ago and frequented this place quite often. We decided to drive the 45 minutes and do date night here and I didn’t realize how much I missed it. The best raw oysters in Atlanta hands down. The New England clam chowder is always hearty and delicious. The grilled octopus is new but rivals Gypsy Kitchens and may be a notch better. The sea bass with the lemon/olive oil topping, my favorite, is consistently good to the last bite. We’ve tried the location in Roswell which is nice but, I love the coziness of the Vinings location. Aside from distance, we just don’t get out as much as we used to but this place is on our list for special occasions/date nights.

Have dined here before. Always a quality experience. Plenty of free parking. Used OpenTable for a quick reservation. Very friendly staff. Very professional service. Our waiter, Freddy, was definitely on top of his game the night we dined. Excellent service. Food is fresh and perfectly prepared. Looking forward to our return.

Came here on my anniversary. Sade took fantastic care of us! We ordered a few dozen oysters, which were delicious. Sade made sure we had fresh sauces, crackers, napkins, drinks, etc... Even though we came in close to closing, I did not feel rushed. Creme brulee and crab cake are highly recommended as well.

Everything was excellent! Exceptional seafood place!!! It is the best in Atlanta surpasses all the other seafood restaurants. I will be back again. We had the sea bass and grouper😀!

We found this restaurant by accident after going to Kroger, what a nice surprise as this restaurant was amazing food was top notch and our waiter Abdul was amazing.

AMAZING chargrilled oysters!! Oyster happy hour is 4–6pm Mon—Fri, get a dozen for cheap. I love this place. Mikey the bartender is a super star. Short of going to New Orleans, this is the place to get authentic chargrilled oysters.

My wife and I decided to treat ourselves celebrating anniversary number 29. From the moment we entered, we felt welcomed as if we were dining with special friends. Our salmon and flounder dishes were excellently prepared and our waiters suggestions for accompanying sides and sauces was spot on. We sincerely thank you for the welcoming glass of champagne and desert. My only disappointment was that Virginia oysters were not available that night but knowing that they will be available plus the outstanding service, will only make me return sooner. Superbly prepared dishes + excellent service = a wonderful night

Three of us had dinner here on a weeknight. My hosts are regulars, and I can see why. The ambience is lovely -- inviting, conducive to conversation, comfortable. The food was excellent, and there is an exceptional array of fish and seafood. Service was very good as well. Don't let the strip mall location fool you. This is a great spot.

Being from New England but the last 8 years in Atlanta, I am always on the outlook for good seafood and too many times I am disappointed . I checked their menu and they had NE Chowder and Lobster Rolls . So off I went. In a shopping plaza but a very well appointed inside . I was seated immediately and the restaurant was quite busy even at 1150 am . Good sign. Big glass of ice water immediately and a selection of breads and butter . I ordered NE Clam Chowder and a cold Lobster Roll. They brought the clam chowder and one spoon fullI I was in heaven.Probably the best I've ever had and I lived in Maine, Boston, Rhode Island etc. I will visit them many times just to have the chowder , that is how good it was. The Lobster Roll was about what I've come to expect in Atlanta . It was ok but al least it was priced at the low end of nice restaurants in Atlanta. Based on the Chowder I'll be back for some Swordfish and Tuna. Wait staff was attentive and the decorations inside not something you would expect in a shopping Center Restaurant. It's been 2 hours and all I can think of is the Chowder!!

We ate there last night after a year's absence and the food was as good as ever. After oysters and calamari we had baked grouper with a butter/caper sauce and mashed potatoes and spinach. It was a wonderful meal and a night to remember. Kent

My ex husband was trying to get back in my good graces and he surprised me with a date here.. I fell in love with the place.. the service was wonderful .. everyone was friendly and professional. The oysters were so fresh and delicious.. this place is a must visit for seafood lovers.

As a group enjoying a dining experience we found C&S to be a place we will cme back to. We enjoyed the food while we were able to carry on a conversation and enjoy our evening together. pricing is as expected for this type of fare. Service iis good and the overall feel is comfortable and stylish.

Oysters aren’t really everyone’s cup of tea but the others with me liked them and rated them very highly. I had calamari and found it to be far more tender than you usually get elsewhere in Europe. Mains of grouper and redfish were good too. If choosing again I would go for the grouper. Good selection of beers too. Anthony, the restaurant manager, was a hoot all decked out in his English tweed. When I’m next in Atlanta, C&S will be my first choice for seafood.

Took a chance on this and wasn’t disappointed! Don’t let the fact it’s adjacent to a grocery store in a strip mall mislead you- the service was amazing, the staff friendly and the food was the best, most fresh seafood imaginable. Super high marks for C & S, and we will be back for certain!

Food was great. Started out with oysters and was not disappointed. Had some great grilled flounder for main course. Finished off with a New Old Fashioned cocktail for a great ending to the evening. Only thing I would improve would be the head host was VERY hard on the other hostess for seating a small group at the wrong table. It was overboard and should have been addressed away from customers if it was really that big of an issue, but didn't seem like a big deal to me.

We are frequent patrons and the food and service are always exemplary. One of the best seafood restaurants in Atlanta. The menu offers a good variety of optiions. Great gumbo and Caesar salad too! Oh...and the Key Lime Pie is delicious.

The mains are kinda ordinary to me but I like the bar foods and service. Good selection of shell fish.

It's harder than one would think to find a really good seafood restaurant in Atlanta. At least one that has perfectly prepared lobster. You wouldn't expect from the meager location next door to a supermarket in a small shopping center to find this restaurant. I was immediately impressed with the prompt greeting, nice booth seating available, and no pressure service. These guys are trying to do it all exactly right. In my opinion, they succeeded. Try the RC Chargrilled Oysters for a fabulous appetizer. My group actually had Oysters Rockefeller for dessert ... but I didn't like them as well as the Chargrilled. Each member of my party had the Caesar salad which was very good. We were there on a Sunday night. We didn't know that Sunday night was Whole Maine Lobster night. I am told that it was excellent. I had broiled Maine Swordfish with a lemon-herb beurre blanc that was also excellent. By the way, don't be misled by the Cobb Parkway address. The restaurant is actually located in Vinings, just a few minutes north of Atlanta.

I went for the first time to this restaurant on father's day weekend. Even though it was a busy weekend and the restaurant was full, we didn't have to wait for a table for 2. Also we didn't have to wait for service and/or drinks. Service was impressive and everything was as fresh as it could be. Definitely will recommend it!

My husband picked out C&S based on Trip Adviser Reviews. I was reluctant to drive over 30 min to get there. It was sooooo worth it. The restaurant was warm and beautiful inside. Our waiter was DeWitt. He was amazing. He was engaging, knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. .First he got me a cushion because I felt too low at the table. Then, he let my husband test 2 beers before he chose. I told him the type of chardonnay I like and he picked the perfect one. He helped us pick out oysters and then made suggestions about ordering our entrees by asking questions about our taste preferences and paying attention to details. The meal was spectacular and and so was DeWitt. We will be going back because of the food and our caring waiter!! Thank you DeWitt for a birthday meal to remember!!!

We selected this restaurant because it was very convenient to Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center and was highly rated on Open Table. We took a chance and are so glad we did. The food was excellent. Great flavor profile. Attractively plated. Smallish portions but a treat to eat. And the service was wonderful. Our server never let my water glass get low and since that is all I drink, it enhanced my dining experience never to run out. I absolutely recommend it.

This is an incomplete review as we never were seated. We were looking forward to trying this restaurant based on the reviews and the reputation, so I made a reservation. We showed up on time and were promptly escorted to a table in the corner of the bar under a TV looking out on the parking lot even though there were at least 3 empty tables that we could see. When I told the hostess that I wished to sit at a different table, I was told that it was a busy night and they could not move us. I was not going to beg for the privilege of spending my money in a restaurant that doesn't value my business, so we promptly left. Apparently, others have had better experiences here, but mine was certainly not what I had hoped for. We were able to salvage the evening at another restaurant that provided excellent service.

Our first visit to the Sandy Springs location, but visit the Vinings location whenever we are in Atlanta. Quality, consistency, service all spot on. I always get the king crab appetizer, it's a LOT of crab. That, a few oysters (wish they had Appalachacolas) and splitting a wedge salad is a dinner! My husband had the bone marrow and escargot app, it was amazing! Full of flavor, very large serving, and the most innovative combination of flavors. My only complaint was my cocktail. Georgia on My Mind I think was the name, very small drink for $16, maybe 5 ounces. But that did not outweigh a fantastic meal!

My wife and I dined there tonight. Excellent crab appetizer, lots of crabmeat. Wife had Manhattan clam chowder, unusual since most places serve the creamy version. She had a lobster club salad and I had flounder. Finished with delicious creme brûlée. Wines by the glass reasonable. We will definitely go back.

A very nice night with my husband for dinner. Service was very good and food was wonderful. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Oysters were yummy. Loved the darker ambience. I lost an earring while I was there and they found it and saved it for me until my husband could go back and pick it up the next day. Now that’s service!

I was looking forward to the $29 Lobster Dinner that one reviewer mentioned, but found out that special is only on Sundays, we had the oysters Rockefeller which always seem salty where ever you go, then the calamari was very good, was hoping they would have the raw oysters ( which I call the House oysters), that were not on there pricey list which I am sure were good also, some of the restaurants in Atlanta will have the New Orleans type. My wife and I shared a Lobster roll and we each had a salad, Having had Lobster rolls in Maine and Martha's Vineyard which were much better than these we've had them cold and warm with melted butter , but this one was not as good not much lobster in it , and to much salty butter. Finally another reviewer said the parking was a little tricky, but this restaurant is in a Kroger parking lot which has plenty of parking

We ordered grilled oysters, 24 for the table. About 1/4 of them were so thin & over- cooked we couldn't eat them. The calamari was just okay. I ordered the 22 oz ribeye... medium. It was burnt throughout. I've had bigger 16 oz ribeyes & this one wasn't even on the chart for flavor. I couldn't recommend C&S for any aspect. The restaurant was busy and very noisy. We had a group of eight & couldn't even carry on a conversation.

C&S ,Arnold is the front end manager & he is so warm, welcoming, personable, & funny. We probably return because of Arnold, & now we have become a regular & we eat here so often we now know almost every waiter, waitress, & recognize some of the other regulars at this point we have been coming to C&S since they opened with other couples & then we moved closer to the area 5 years ago & now we just go whenever we want a good night out & a fantastic meal. Every single time we have never been disappointed. We have tried everything on the menu at this point but our regular repeats are the chargrilled oysters, all salads, the steaks , mainly filets regular or Oscar style, the bernaise is so good as well. The shoestring truffle fries are divine, the stone crab claws are huge (& my most favorite ), the twin lobster tails are perfectly prepared. The King crab is probably my next favorite , the Chilean sea bass sautéed with a crisp exterior & a delectably almost creamy center, not raw, but so moist & yummy served with the lemon burre blanc sauce. My husband & grown daughters have tried many steaks & Osso Buco & veal, salmon & crab cakes. It is all always so delicious & Truely a treat to be taken out to dinner here it is an experience & not just another meal I didn’t have to prepare.

The squid was so good. The lemon was delicious. The food was good but not awesome. Expensive but not amazing. But the squid...

Heard about the place through a few co-workers, we met for appetizers. The food was good, really enjoyed the chargrilled oysters. Service was attentive and our main server was friendly and outgoing, although he does need a little more finesse/coaching. Service was prompt and efficient, I enjoyed my time here, will definitely be back as I live in the Cobb area and didn't realize the restaurant was here. LOVED the pumpkin bread pudding for dessert.

We were overwhelmed by the great reviews...and while it was good, there was room for improvement. Our server was very attentive at first, but after taking away our appetizer plates, it was a long time before we saw him again delaying placement of our order. The drinks were smallish...the spring roll appetizer was very good...half dozen char grilled oysters were good but pricey at $18. The sea bass special was good ...just not outstanding (served with whipped potatoes). I had blackened grouper with beurre blanc sauce....I could hardly taste any blackening at all and the b.b. sauce was very thin...but the worst (I should have sent it back) was that the grouper filet was chunked into 4 or 5 pieces....I thought later that it was as if it fell apart and they still served it.

Yum! Even in the midst of COVID this is a very good dining experience. Our server recommended the Sea Bass with olive oil and lemon caper sauce. It was just the right amount of crispy on the outside yet moist and flaky on the inside. Just fantastic! (The sides were meh, but the fish was great.) This followed the chopped salad which was so good I could have been happy with that alone. I was a little disappointed with the bourbon smash, they didn’t middle the fruit or mint. It felt as if that was just tossed in before shaking. Such a waste of 1792. I need to go back for the oysters.

We had a wonderful meal. We went with two small infants and they were very understanding. Excellent service.

We took our family from out of town here for a special place that is unique to Atlanta and not a chain restaurant. This was a return visit for us, and they did not disappoint. The server was personable and attentive. Each dish was served hot, promptly, and delicious. Creme brûlée was wonderfully crunchy on top and creamy underneath. This is our new favorite for the Vinings area. We went around 6:00 PM on a holiday week and were glad that we didn't have to wait to be seated. Special touch that the server brought out hot wet towels after the meal to wash our hands. The staff creates a very welcoming atmosphere that makes it a special fine dining experience.

We dined there on 23 on Saturday, Appetizers were Calamari, shrimp egg rolls and baked oysters and dozen 4 kinds oysters Entrees were Sea bass, lobster and steak, Swordfish, filet Mignon, lobster Mac and cheese Food was well seasoned and very tasty and presentation was excellent, great service by the attendant, Arnold the Manager was outstanding as usual, we had a bottle of red wine and my son in-law had beer, place was full and lively, atmosphere was great. We go there a lot and will be back

Met friends at this Cobb Parkway restaurant for dinner and found the place to be very nice inside. Decor is very well done and the food was delicious. Our group enjoyed steamed and grilled Sea Bass, Scallops, and Shrimp which were beautifully presented. The bread pudding dessert was quite good but a bit skimpy on the sauce

We have lived less than a mile from this place for 2 years and never had a clue of the quality we were missing! The Sea Bass with crab meat truffle potatoes with asparagus...superb. The bread pudding is to die for. Service is perfect.

It's hard to believe that C & S has been a part of our little Vinings scene since only June 2007. It seems as if this well-established, white table-cloth, neighborhood restaurant has been around a lot longer, having established itself as one of Metro Atlanta's top seafood restaurants. General Manager Arnold Sye (10 years here as well!) and his excellent team have been providing clients with top-quality service and terrific dining experiences for a decade. A recent visit treated my dinner companion and me to two delicious meals: his, the trout special of the day, recommended by fantastic waiter Dewitt, and me, the grouper with carrots and a side of crispy, hot ries. Both meals were outstanding. Congratulations, C & S, on being a part of our neighborhood community and for making us proud by providing such a delicious product!

What a fanatastic surprise! Everything we had was excellent. It's rare to see a real dining experience, not good but great, and this was one. Service was top notch, Alec didn't miss a thing. Open Table showed nothing between 5 and 9 PM, but I called and the hostess was able to work us in at 7. We shared the app serving of King Crab, the leg was cut into 4-5 inch pieces and split so that there was very little work to eat the perfectly prepared crab. Oysters Rockefeller were terrific, truffle fries wonderful, sharing lots of things is a great way to go. This is not your typical fish house, pretty place but relaxing. If we lived in Atlanta, we'd be back here often. Thanks, C&S, for a really lovely evening.

This place is an amazing Steak and Seafood restaurant. It’s a little pricey but the quality of the food easily offsets the delta. Tonight was no exception, Med Rare NY Strip seared was seasoned perfectly and melts in your mouth. The flavor profile is spot on. There wasn’t a spec left on the plate. I’ve eaten steaks at name brand places and paid more and finished disappointed. That will not be the case here.

Absolutely love this place for seafood or steak.....very high quality food and chefs.....service is great too. They really look after you and make sure you have a great experience.

My husband and I had lunch at C & S. They feature a variety of oysters on the half shell. Not cheap at $3.00 apiece, but hubby enjoyed them. I had the fried flounder, shrimp and oyster plate. The portions were small with only 2 small oysters, 2 small shrimp and a small piece of flounder served over a bed of thin-cut fries and a side of quite good coleslaw. Hubby had the fried shrimp and oysters. I think he had 3 of each served over fries and the side of slaw. We each had a glass of wine and the tab was $80.00. It was good, but not great.

The food was really good I ordered clam chowder and it was the best clam chowder I also ordered a Shirley Temple and it was in the top five of all Shirley temples I have had the servers were also very nice It’s a good thing we chose this place because it was my dad’s birthday. If you haven’t tried this place, you should definitely try it if you like the best clam chowder. If you’re a fan of Shirley Temple’s, you should also come here.

Reservations necessary on Friday night. The cacophonous noise level as you first walk in is a detractor. The second immediate detractor is a fishy smell as opposed to a fish smell. Booth seating was comfortable as table seating was too close. Very good friendly waiter who was attentive. Calamari appetizer was best anywhere. Giamardia relish was so good. Hubby’s tuna tartare was delicious. Fresh bread basket offerings were yummy. Crab avocado salad was very good, not blue crab, probably king crab. Wedge of fresh iceberg lettuce & tomatoes w/ perfect oil based dressing was perfect entree for me. I ate a lot but was comfortable w/ fresh, unprocessed food! Recommend for high quality food preparation & offerings. Bring earbuds & don’t plan on important conversation.

My daughter and son-in-law took my wife and I out to celebrate my birthday. They had eaten at this restaurant at a former location and was interested to see how this one stacked up. They were very impressed. My wife and I were blown away. From the time we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat. We were welcomed by the manager and immediately upon being seated, the appetizers arrived. The meal was one of the best I have ever had. The service was second to none. Our waiter, a long time employee, offered a ton of expertise on our meal selections. I would be remiss if I did not describe the atmosphere. Classy and sassy. GO!

Menu had a good range of seafood. The food was fairly priced and tasted great. There was an issue with something that I ordered, the manager promptly came over and apologized, it was complimentary, AND WE RECEIVED DESSERT for free. It was a great experience. We have small children too.

We enjoyed marvelous, well-round seafood/fish fare. Attune wait staff added to the the pleasure of the dining experience. Good selection of Oysters raw or cooked several ways. i simply devoured my main course of Sea Bass Oscar, with truffle whipped potatoes. Looking forward to my next business trip to Atlanta to take another run at this menu.

My wife and I made a spur of the moment decision to go to C & S for dinner last night. We were greeted warmly and served superbly. The consistency of this restaurant is just amazing. Wonderful oysters and crab cake. But I really want to compliment the kitchen staff on this meal. We had the halibut that was an addition to the menu for the evening. The fish was cooked perfectly and the delicate butter sauce really set off the dish. It was a wonderful, refreshing and relaxing evening that capped off a long and difficult day.

We must have had the same server as the previous review. Party of six, arrived on time for a 5:30pm reservation, seated near the back. Despite the bar being about 25 feet away it took 15 min to get the first round of drinks and about that long or longer for subsequent rounds. I actually had to get up twice to fill my water and others at the table as the water steward was never around. It also took forever for the waiter to take our order and clear empty plates from the table. Bread never arrived until half way through the meal when we finally asked for it. Chop salad showed up with blue cheese despite being ordered without it. The service staff and management seemed completely disorganized and clueless. Some staff running around like crazy, some just standing around doing nothing. I will say the food was very good and everyone in our party thought so as well. Until the service issue is corrected I would find somewhere else.

This is definitely a stop you will want to make! Great food, service and ambiance. Every mixed drink was made to precision. We sat at the bar and the bartender made sure we enjoyed our drinks with h an option to have them redone or replaced. No need. We ordered appetizers, main course and dessert. The food came out so fast each time we thought it was for someone else. The quickness took nothing from the quality. The service was superb. No complaints! I can’t wait to go back on my next trip to ATL!

My daughter and I went to C&S Seafood and Oyster Restaurant for our birthdays (which just happen to be on the same day. Our experience there was absolutely wonderful from the host who took us to our table to our incredible server extraordinaire Theo! He actually had someone shadowing him and if the young man was taking it all in, he would be a great server as well. The food was absolutely delicious, topped off with crème brûlée which was over the top. And just when you thought the whole experience couldn’t get any better, Theo serenaded me singing happy birthday!!!!! It was a great experience, I will tell all my friends, and I will come back for a return visit.

I made reservations with C&S for our 9th wedding anniversary since we both love seafood. The ambiance was that of a 1930's metropolitan-style restaurant, but tucked away in a Kroger shopping center. High ceilings, mirrored walls, low lighting. We were sat a rather large table in corner that although at the front of the restaurant, provided the intimacy we sought. I swear our server was hand-picked for the occasion. He was eloquent, knowledgeable, and entertaining as he made his way through a brief tutorial of the menu and the dining experience they sought to execute. We started with chargrilled oysters. Admittedly, I am a purist when it comes to my taste for the mollusk: I typically want raw or fried...nothing else involved. I was highly surprised at how good the char grilled rockerfeller-style oysters tasted. Very tasty, and the briny goodness of the oyster was not lost at all. As we moved into the entrees, she had a steamed sea bass with bok choy, sticky rice, and a soy-sherry broth and I had the seared redfish with fried oysters and an oyster risotto. Two things here: One, I was jealous of the Asian flavors because it is my favorite non-American cuisine and two, it was the best redfish I have ever had. It was the flavor of the oysters that put it over the top for me. The cocktails were well made and for our anniversary we were provided complimentary champagne and we share (as best we could because we were so full) our choice of dessert. We chose the sea salt caramel gelato. I tried to ruin the rest of my evening by trying to finish it. It was that good. Spend the money for the quality you get here and you will see why it is a solid restaurant experience.

Despite it's location in a strip-mall - this is truly Southern seafood at it's finest! Amazing grilled oysters - true gulf coast dish. Outstanding grilled flounder - fresh from Florida - perfectly prepared - lightly coated in butter, exact temperature. Loved the cocktail program - well balanced, unique mixes of all spirits and shrubs, bitters, and a variety of unique flavors. Very well done. Great servers dressed in while jackets, attentive, knowledgeable, and responsive. Excellent service. I sat at the oyster bar and had a great view of the kitchen and watched the chef create a great symphony of food prepared in the best southern traditions. Nice work team! I'll be back!

This was my first time at C&S but my husband had been there with a client and knew it was the kind of restaurant I would like. My lobster tails were good as well as the jalapeño margarita I had. The service is good but my most memorable part was the atmosphere; cozy and comfortable which is perfect for a date. This restaurant is very pricy though.

This review is for the C & S in Brookhaven. Took my son for his birthday April 2. I live in London so I'm used to high prices. The food is good, but the waiter, Mo, was top drawer. I'd go back just for him

If you are a fish or oyster lover you have to go to C & S Seafood. The fish is fresh, portions nice size, service great and the drinks are not shabby. If you like bread pudding a must dessert. Take it from me you will not be disappointed.

I really enjoyed my meal at C&S. I've lived in Atlanta for a long time but this was my first visit. We only had a ten minute wait, but we were brought free drinks anyway for our patience. The appetizers were delicious, and the wedge salads were enormous. The lobster roll and the crab crusted flounder were both amazing entrees. I'd highly recommend and I can't wait to go again soon because I could've ordered the whole menu there were so many options.

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I would. This wonderful place is tucked in a strip mall, of all places! Don’t let the grocery store parking lot stop you from going in. It is AMAZING. From the first step inside the place, the manager greeting will transport you into one of the best restaurants in Atlanta. We were seated at a booth in the lively bar area. The service was amazing. The menu is insane with fresh fish and even fresher oysters. The wine list is beautiful. We started with several appetizers, but the chargrilled oysters were our fave, so we ordered more. My husband had the bone in filet, which looked like something that should’ve been on the cover of a food magazine. I had a perfect chilean sea bass special. Everything about this experience was perfect. Spot on, and we will definately frequent here more often!

Out with two other couples, think of this place as a fancy steak place but seafood. Very noisy , not the place for quiet romantic dinner. Food very good, service could have been a little more attentive but not bad. We sat toward the back closer to the kitchen so it was warmer than the rest of the place. Chargrilled oyster very good but too much toppings ,hiding the flavor of the oysters. Tuna tartar very good, wife had lobster salad(very large) i had Grouper with lemon bureblanc sauce, bread pudding very good. Two cocktails, two appetizers, two dinners, one desert ,$170

Let me start by saying that I'm a frequent C&S diner. I can understand the negative reviews if it's your first experience on a night that a major event is in the area and you didn't make a reservation. Not to mention that the new Braves stadium is nearby now. With ALL that said and considered, Preparation Rules the Nation with dining at C&S. The good news is, in spite of very rare subpar service the food was and is always great. Every restaurant has its off night every blue moon and I still count it as a plus for the manager and staff. If the place was empty during such a peak day then there would be a huge problem. I'm sure for those who didn't fair well can use it as a teachable moment and give C&S a second chance. I will do the same by planning my next dining experience around a super busy night but will NEVER give up on such an amazing place to eat. Cheers!

February 28, 2024: My wife and I went to the Vinings location to celebrate our Anniversary. A friend of mine suggested that we go there. The food was AMAZING!! I had the blackened Swordfish and she had the blackened Flounder, both were cooked to PERFECTION!!! Alex, our waiter, he was awesome as well, that’s even knowing that he’d only been on the job for four days. EXCELLENT server!!! We will be going back very soon.

Enjoyed a great dinner at C&S. We ordered chargrilled, rockefeller, and raw oysters for appetizers. They were amazing, very fresh. For entrees, we had the grilled scallops and the sea bass special topped with crab meat. The sea bass was one of the best meals I have ever had in my life. The scallops were also very good. We usually enjoy seafood at Atlanta Fish Market, but decided to give C&S a try. C&S is definitely our favorite now, and we will be returning very soon to enjoy the fresh oysters and seafood.

My first and only encounter at this establishment was for a birthday party. There were about 30 people in attendance. Problem one was a table of 24 guest and we shared one server. They didn't inform you that ordering Spring Water gets you 5 bottles for $40. Also the dimensions of this facility are similar to a shotgun shack from a past era, it just goes straight back, There is no section to separate a large party by itself. The result is that you can only interact with no more than two people on either side of you. Moving around isn't much of an option because the place is very narrow. Also, the background music along with the volume from conversations makes it hard to talk with anyone. They are definitely not going for ambiance. When the host of the party called for the reservation she asked if it's a problem with separate checks for each guest. She was told this would not be a problem. Well it was a problem. The suggestion per the wait staff was that since there were 12 people in my section of the table we should split it 12 ways. The bill including tip was $854 which would have meant approximately $71 per person. For me and a few others our bills were less than $35 and one persons bill was $25. What sense would it make for people to pay two and nearly three times more than what they were provided in food. The remedy for this incorrect information was free desert. Which turned out to be the best part of the meal. I had shrimp which were okay but wouldn't be close to the neighborhood of my best seafood dinner. For sides I had truffle fries and Cole slaw. The Cole slaw itself was pretty good. The truffles would have been better if I'd gotten an order at McDonalds. A few other things occurred that I will omit but to sum it up. I don't think this restaurant belongs in the list of Atlanta's best, I won't be returning and I wouldn't recommend it to others.

We reserved on Open Table and mentioned we were celebrating our 25th anniversary. We were greeted by name when we walked in and wished "Happy Anniversary!" by both the manager and our extraordinary waiter Milford. He thoughtfully brought us a couple of small glasses of champagne to celebrate. We split the delicious shrimp & goat cheese beignets as an appetizer. I had the snapper with a lemon wine sauce, and my husband had the snapper with piccata -- both pan seared to perfection. The snapper was as fresh as any I have had at the beach! Our food came out quickly, and we were enchanted that they also gave us key lime pie *and* a blueberry bread pudding for dessert! We didn't expect that, but it made our anniversary dinner extra special! We ordered decaf coffee which was freshly brewed and wonderful. I could see the hostess stand from where I sat, and I thought they were very gracious in seating people who seemed to me to be a bit underdressed for the level of service and food that C& S offers. They have outside seating which I am sure will be popular in the fall when temps are cooler, and it isn't so humid in Atlanta. It is not far from the Cobb Galleria or the Braves new stadium and close to Vinings. TVs over the bar had a Braves game on, but the volume was turned down, and we didn't feel that it impacted the ambiance of the rest of the restaurant. We definitely will bring family here the next time we are looking for a unique neighborhood place to go. Although they had steak on the menu, if you want good seafood, this is it.

The title says it all. This restaurant remains in our top five Atlanta Eateries. The menu, food prep and presentation are still excellent as is the service. The friendly staff is knowledgeable about both the food & drink selections. We were there in the middle of the week in July, when schools are out and people are away on vacation, and the thought is it's a slow time for local restaurants. It must tell you something when this place is wall to wall crowded. Very highly recommended as are reservations. Ask for Arnold!!

We visited the restaurant for lunch while in town for a friend’s bday weekend celebration. It was the perfect ending to our weekend. The lobster roll and oysters were delicious. Our waiter was knowledgeable about all the menu items and very friendly. The food and experience is definitely worth the price point. If you are in the Atlanta area, in search of good seafood; C&S is your spot !

The C&S now located at the Galleria community near Truist Atlanta Braves Baseball Stadium and across the road from Cumberland Mall, is a superb upgrade from the somewhat claustrophobic previous strip mall location. (Note: interior photos on this site reflect the old space). Easy parking, valet ($5) or free in the nearby deck. Attractive inside space options to select from: booths and tables in a slightly dark dining room. Two bar seating areas with one side in the open garden room, and an outdoor patio facing the lovely foliage in the surrounding property. Cocktails: expertly crafted. We enjoyed the ‘afternoon in Provence (grapefruit martini) and Rush Hour (citrus margarita). Appetizers: oysters Rockefeller, superb; crab cake, excellent (ask for a more exciting sauce if your taste begs). Entrees: redfish on Cajun rice and the grouper on vege risotto were exquisite. Dessert: white chocolate bread pudding w/ caramel ice cream, is Michelin star-worthy. Service: impeccable team of well trained, smart, attractive people. We liked our table server, Reginald, with his Billy Dee Williams gentle suave.

Came here to celebrate my dads birthday and were not disappointed. All of the dishes were cooked perfectly and were delicious. The waiter discreetly asked us what dessert my dad liked best and then came out with not one, but two of my dads favorite desserts for the table to share, free of charge! The pastry chef is incredible and the desserts rivaled the meal! I'm glad I live near this place, I will definitely be coming back. They have a Thursday night oyster deal: I can't wait to take advantage of it and come for Oysters and Key Lime Pie, that's a balanced meal, right?!

This is a quaint place tucked away off Cobb Pkwy. The New England clam chowder was excellent as well as the Sea Bass entree-my only drawback, was that the portion was small (and, I am not a big eater). But, it was prepared perfectly. Also, our bread never arrived-not sure considering it was not busy at the time we were there. The Riesling wine was great with the fish.

We trusted Abdul with our dining experience and we couldn't be more hatful that we did. From Star to finish it was a delightful experience. We started with a dozen oysters and my husband had the spring rolls to start. I enjoyed the Caesar salad. For my main course, I am had the broiled group in lemon beurre-blanc over the lemon garlic spinach and julienne zucchini. I couldn't shut up about it. Finally, we ended the might with the bread pudding which was out of this world. Abdul made us feel so at home. I'm so glad we let him run the show. We will be back soon to enjoy another be evening. Salud!

We enjoyed the service and food at the new C&S Seafood location located at 600 Galleria Parkway on the night of the location’s grand opening. The hospitality and service experienced from the time that you enter the restaurant was exceptional. The service provided by Sean, our waiter, and other members of the restaurant staff was also exceptional. The food was also outstanding. Loved the Crab Cakes. Go and enjoy a great restaurant, in a new and beautiful location.

If you get a chance to go to C&S Oyster Bar in Atlanta, go try it! It was a little pricey but well worth it. Admittedly, when we arrived in the Über and saw it was located in the shopping complex of a Kroger grocery store, I was a little apprehensive as to my choice of restaurants. However, the patio and inside of the restaurant were lovely with nice ambiance. Our server Darren (sp?) was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable of the menu. We started with the petite seafood appetizer, each had fish entrees, and finished with a bread pudding dessert. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. It was by far an excellent start to our World Series experience!

If I had to only get one thing it would be the King Crab Legs! They were awesome! Pair it with some Chargrilled oysters, chopped salad and bread pudding and you have a match made in heaven!

Though relatively new we have dined here several times. The salmon and halibut are terrific. Swordfish special was also good. Service is warm and friendly. New England clam chowder is excellent.

This was our first visit to C&S seafood and Oyster Bar. It was a fantastic dining experience. When you arrive you don't know what to expect as it is located in a supermarket strip mall. But once you enter you're in another world. The food was phenomenal, and the service impeccable. We will definitely return and ask for Abdul our waiter again. My husband really likes raw oysters and was delighted with the choices. I love fish and the flounder I had was cooked to Perfection. We also enjoyed the crab salad that was recommended by our waiter. The meal was complete with a complimentary creme brulee dessert for my husband's birthday. Our recommendation is to go with your waiter's suggestions, you can't go wrong.

I'm from the coast yet the best seafood I've ever had is in Atlanta. Everything I've ever had at C&S has been amazing. The hamachi tartar dish is one of the best things I've ever had in my life. If you need a suggestion ask the manager Patrick. He is a talented culinary tour guide. Mike behind the bar makes an amazing Moscow Mule and makes you feel at home. Everyone on the staff seems to be top notch. I highly recommend eating here as often as you can afford.

My wife and I just enjoyed a wonderful Saturday lunch at this new location of this great restaurant. We had eaten at the Sandy Springs location previously and knew that this was a fine-dining approach to seafood, and might not be an everyday dining-out choice. Okay, it is a little pricey. But for special occasions (like a forty-fourth wedding anniversary) this was perfect! It lived up to our expectations in every way. My wife had grilled swordfish with a lemony wine sauce, and sides of haricot verts (green beans) and fantastic lobster risotto. I had blackened Red Snapper (best I’ve had here in Atlanta), also with the wine sauce and green beans, and with skillet-fried potatoes. Every dish was as good as it gets! And our server, Axel, was great! I took his recommendations on the choice of sauce and sides. All excellent! By the way, the atmosphere here is also very appealing, classy and subdued, and the easily accessed location and plentiful free parking make the overall experience of coming here even more pleasant. We’re coming back someday soon for Happy Hour!

Went for our 53rd anniversary. We were treated very well. They treated us with free champagne and an appetizer. We lived near the Chesapeake Bay mist of our life and know good seafood. I had their Sea Bass special and my wife had seared tuna. Both were excellent and I think the preparation and balance of flavors in my meal were the best I have ever had. A wonderful anniversary meal!

While staying in Buckhead we decided to try C&S Seafood and Oyster. When you walk through the front door you’re walking to another world. The locals and the staff are warm and welcoming. We got lucky hitting the Thursday night oyster special which was amazing. We had two orders of grilled oysters. You just can’t get enough! The rest of our meal consisted of a Cesar salad, Grilled Shrimp and Blackened Grouper on a bed of basmati rice with lump crab. This was by far the best seafood I have ever had and that means a lot coming from South Florida. Thank you to the staff for amazing time!!! A true hidden gem off the beaten path!!!!!

They have done an excellent job of spacing out the tables and putting up dividers between them. The staff were all wearing masks, but several had only their mouth covered and not their nose -- that was a bit disconcerting. The food though was wonderful. Started with some raw oysters. Delicious, wonderfully presented, and warm towels to clean up with afterwards. Then we had a halibut entree and blackened grouper. Both were beautifully presented and were excellent in taste. We were not rushed at all -- given ample time to enjoy our meal. This is a superb restaurant and the prices reflect that.

Our first visit. Our server, Trenton suggested the special which was prepared perfectly. His wine suggestion was right on target. We will definitely return.

What a pleasant surprise!! A steamed lobster dinner with fries, cole slaw and choice of soup or salad for $29. Wow!! And, a bonus: the lobster was precut, no need for a cracker. I enjoy the process of picking the lobster apart so this was the best of both worlds. No unnecessary cracking at the table, but all the shell to suck out all the little bits of meat.

This evening my wife and I decided to try another place we've never tried. C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar is not far from where I work and I've driven by many times but have never had a meal there. After finishing my meal I was really upset with myself for waiting this long to check them out. This restaurant is a neighborhood gem!!! Although it is located in a shopping center, the moment you walk in the restaurant, it has a classy, quiet, comfortable feel. The restaurant is dimly light which adds to the ambiance. The waitstaff is outstanding, non-intrusive, attentive and on point. The menu has lots of options, seafood and steaks. The menu options are appropriately priced. For an appetizer I had the Calamari which was great, prepared correctly. It was better than most I have had in the City. My wife had the lump crab cake. I was a very nice size and fluffy like it should be. Since this is an Oyster Bar, we had to try the Oysters. I was very surprised at the size of the Oysters, they were very large. Their selection of Oysters are from the Northeastern US, a little briny yet sweet. My main course was the New York Strip. It was tender, well charred and prepared exactly as I requested, medium rare. The steak was so tender, it put me in the mind of an aged dried steak with a side of sautéed garlic roasted spinach. This was simply delicious. My wife had the steamed Chilean Sea Bass. I would have added pictures, however, the food was so good I didn't have time to pull out my phone to take the picture. All in all, this is a great spot to grab dinner. We will definitely be coming back to for a repeat visit. Do yourself a favor, check out this restaurant today. Please make a reservation in order to enjoy your visit.

Been here numerous times and often when they are slam packed. If you want quality fresh oysters prepared raw or any other way here they are not cheap but worth the price. Excellent presentation, preparation and delicious. Their appetizer, soup and salad choices are diverse, well prepared, fresh and very good. Had black cod and swordfish Friday night. Excellent. Went also with a reservation weekend night before Christmas. Slam packed and had a wait of maybe 20 minutes. Problem was social flies that take up tables, order a few appetizers only and drink. No problem as the excellent staff had us seated within 20 minutes and the front staff made sure we got what we needed. Excellent, fun and knowledgeable staff. My go to place every 6 weeks or so . You get what you pay for. 5 stars and I travel all over to eat quality seafood and oysters.

This was my second time eating here. The 1st time was awesome!! The 2nd time the food was excellent but the waiter was horrible. As soon as he saw my face his whole demeanor went from Happy to SAD. I still left an 18% tip but how sad to start the holiday with a horrible waiter.

In Atlanta there are so many white tablecloth restaurants to dine in to go to see and be seen in Buckhead but if you want a evening that’s unforgettable we go to C&S. We take our friends & neighbors that are local and we bring friends that come to visit us from far, far away, because we know it’s the food that’s always delicious & consistent & the way that the staff makes you feel & how Arnold & everyone there welcomes you is the reason we are regulars. On this last as we frequently do, visit we ordered Chargrilled oysters for our starter they are divine ! This is being said by somebody that does not eat or like and has avoided oysters my entire life that is, until I tried one of the Chargrilled Oysters at C&S that is! They also offer them raw & on a tray of ice from the best places as a lá Carter options, Depending on the size of our group we usually order four per person, my husband could easily eat a couple dozen. C&S’s charbroiled oysters are legendary they come open face grilled on the half shell with the sauce of garlic butter and herbs fresh topping the oysters then topped with a little Parmesan and Romano cheese and cooked on the hot charcoal grill. They’re cooked in their shells( so yes they’re hot be careful they’re also addictive.) Next my husband always orders a Caesar salad and my daughters do as well if there with us. I usually get a few forkfuls that’s all I need it’s delicious it’s crisp Romain lettuce with homemade garlic buttery croutons, served with classic Caesar salad dressing which is usually olive oil, egg, Worcestershire, anchovie paste, garlic Dijon, Parmesan and black pepper. I’m uncertain about C&S particular recipe, but I know it is delicious. Over the years I think We have ordered everything on the menu at this point & nothing has ever disappointed us ever. We have been frequent C&S dinners since they opened. C&S is famous for seafood but just a delicious are the steaks, our favorite is filet minion & béarnaise sauce. Any of their side dishes & salads are wonderful. I nearly forgot to mention their steaks ! On this trip my husband ordered grilled salmon served on top of spinach with with olive oil and garlic and mashed potatoes with a side of lemon burré blanc sauce, in simpler terms it’s a lemon butter sauce and it’s our favorite as well. The salmon is wild caught and my husband said that it was just delicious. I ordered my favorite which is pan seared sea bass with a lemon for burré blanc sauce . It is pure perfection but this visit I kicked it up a notch & got it Oscar style but instead of topping it with lump crabmeat I had mine topped with lobster & served with asparagus. Our daughter is a registered nurse & she ordered the seabass as well but without the Oscar style lobster topped I did . We ordered a side of Parmesan truffle fries , I share my order, she is more territorial & protects hers with a hand that blocks anyone from sneaking even one. Parmesan truffle fries is french fry heaven as far as I’m concerned, The shoestring french fries are crispy on the outside, not flappy, but soft on the inside creating the perfect french fry. Then I can only imagine, the crispy fries are tossed with grated Parmesan salt and chopped parsley and then truffle oil drizzled over the fries and tossed in a bowl and then dumped in this beautiful little oval bowl that comes to your table. My husband for the record has never ordered the Parmesan truffle fries but he is always, always, always is the first one that grabs them out of the dish and eats them and continues to eat them throughout the meal even though he says he doesn’t order them. We wash it all down with a delicious wine, & ice cold water. My husband & daughter each clears their plates & I have a little for to go even without ordering a salad for myself. You really need to plan to go here, it is worth it. Even though we are regulars we always try to have reservations, I mean it is only fair & that way they can plan to accommodate you best. We did just decide to go in without a reservation a few weeks ago, they had 100 people on the books but 200 showed up. They went in order & still accommodated everyone equally, I was impressed.the service is some of the best in Atlanta & I think it has a lot to do with The front end manager “Arnold” (we now know him as you could imagine after all our years of frequenting the restaurant,)he is truly a big part of the experience, not just for us, but honestly Arnold knows everyone that’s ever been in this restaurant more than once or twice & usually by name ! He greets you & may even seat you, he does it all if they are slammed with people he sets the tables & brings orders , he checks on each table to make sure your dining experience & meals meets your expectations. He makes C&S hum , his wait staff are all trained well & each has great friendly attitudes & are all accommodating. We have so many favorite waiters you can’t go wrong , FREDDIE , is funny & witty , Darren is as nice as he is tall. We have memories of witty waiters that have moved away or retired but it seems the staff stays, more like a career instead of a job. That says a lot about how a place is managed that can keep their staff. I hope you enjoy your meals here as much as we have. Alec, Jarred,Sade is Freddie’s wife is adorable.

First visit and we were, in view of the upmarket menu and prices, expecting a fine dining experience. Unfortunately this was not the case, we could not hear each other due to the noise coming from the bar area, and it appears there is no dress code. Our server was most understanding and apologetic when we decided to leave.

The food is outstanding. Restaurant is very attractive. We were there on a crowded night, and the tables are very close together. Still, the noise level was never a problem. Again, the food was very good. We started with raw oysters -- four different kinds, all very very good. We both had blue cod, but two different preparations. We were more than happy with our meals. Our main server was very good. Three minor issues: 1) We had to ask for our table to be cleared of all the oyster plates, condiments, utensils etc, when the main course was brought -- they were just going to leave it all on our table which was very small. 2) When we arrived, the hostess was about the most listless unenthusiastic person I can imagine. 3) And the meal, though delicious, was very expensive -- seemed to me 10-15% overpriced -- just my opinion. All that said, we loved the meal and will go back again.

We could not have selected a better place for my mother in law's 85th birthday celebration. We started with the Calamari appetizer, which was exceptional as you would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. I had the blackened grouper, wife had the salmon, mother in law had the Maine lobster, and sister in law had the Chilean sea bass. This is a place for folks that are serious about their seafood. They have trained waitstaff, not folks worked great their way through college on in between gigs. Our waiter Darrin knew how to creat an experience. They have their own party chef, so deserts are an experience by themselves. Overall, this was a excellent experience from our group. The empty plates spoke for themselves.

With my hotel located right near the Braves stadium, I didn’t feel like venturing too far for a tasty square. Fortunately for me, C & S was just a short ride away from my hotel in a slightly above average strip mall. Although there was a glitch or two, as they were out of a couple of beers I had wanted to try. In addition, the staff botched my order’s input time, so I waited longer than usual (not helped by the fact that I waited too long to say anything). Nevertheless, this is the type of menu a seafood aficionado seeks out. And the kitchen staff excels at delivering those items to the highest of standards.

My first time there The host and the rest of the team was magnificent. I enjoy my dinner there Everything was impeccable. I will come back very soon

My Wife and I visited C&S to celebrate our 2nd Wedding Anniversary on the 13th and had a wonderful meal. The appetizers were awesome and the food was excellent. The service was also very good and we will definitely be dining here again. The only thing that kind of spoiled the experience was that we could not get any good pictures of our dining experience. We tried to take a few but the lighting was way off. Our waiter Kevin took a few as well but they were only so-so. Kevin then offered to take them with his camera and suggested that we move over to a booth that had better lighting. He took maybe 3-4 poses and even suggested that we take one kissing each other, which we did and that he would send them to us. He verified the phone number but to date, which is exactly a week later, he has not sent a single picture over. This truly struck my wife as 'Creepy'. While we enjoyed the food, this truly put a damper on us wanting to return in a expeditious manner anytime soon.

Our group had dined here before during lunch. Everything was excellent. This time, we came in for an evening Christmas dinner. Very professional and personable hostess. Staff is polished and professional. Food is excellent !

After a less than welcome greeting from the hostess, the experience elevated greatly when Fux was our server. He was extremely knowledgeable about his product. Both managers were involved in our experience. Will definitely be back.

This was my first time to visit and i loved it. Their menu had a lot more than seafood too. Great bar, incredible oysters and the fish was delicious. Try it prepared meunière style.

The food and chargrilled oysters are always on point! The service is also consistently top notch! General manager Arnold, Sandy and the entire staff are always welcoming and on point! If you want great seafood and great vibes, C&S is the place, 10/10!!

We happened on this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and this includes the prime beef steak I had. The other folks in the party had fish and were not disappointed. The bourbon list was extensive (as well as other alcohol). This list reminded me of Kentucky bars with a whole column of bourbon options. The server was attentive and proactive which is uncommon these days. I am not sure why I am asked about 'free Wi-Fi' in this TripAdvisior form..... Please do not spend your time looking at your phone at this restaurant....enjoy the fine meal and the company you are with!

I wanted to take my mother to a nice restaurant to celebrate her birthday Monday, July 7th. My son Christian told me to take her to C & S Seafood at Galleria Park here in Atlanta and that Daniel will take care of you. Let me tell you, not only did Daniel take care of us, he and the waitress that served us rolled out the platinum carpet! We’ve been to some nice restaurants and served us well. But this restaurant and the staff served us exceptionally well. Daniel, you rock and again thank you for making my mother’s special day a memorable one!

OK. All other seafood eateries in Atlanta need to realize C & S is the one they will be measured against. Ambiance is a 10. Service is a 10. Food taste, quality and flavor is a 10. Presentation is 10. Wine selection is a 10. And the drinks are strong. All these great features have a cost attached to them and C & S is worth every penny of what they ask.

This place looks like nothing special from the outside but inside is a classic decor and sophisticated atmosphere. There’s a superb choice of oysters which are all amazingly fresh and delicious and the seafood is laid out for you too see, and so I chose the amazing scallops which were cooked to perfection. The drink selection is excellent too, so you’ll be assured of good pairings for your food or a classic cocktail to complement Highly recommended

I have previously reviewed this property and have visited a number of times. It doesn't fail to deliver with outstanding service and quality food. On this occasion, I was having dinner with a former business associate. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated at the requested booth. We began with perfectly prepared cocktails and RC's Chargrilled Parmesan Oysters. We had a Caesar salad, blackened grouper, and grilled ahi tuna. Everything was perfectly prepared. I must give a nod to the waiter, Rommell. This was at least the second time that he has waited my table and he is very professional. This is the place to go in Atlanta for good seafood....

Amazing food, wonderful service and good vibes. Dining alone I came in at the busiest time in a Friday night. The staff went out of their way to accommodate me to seat me at the bar. The bar staff, Daniel and Michelle were terrific and they have a local, regular customer base that keeps coming back every week for just that reason. The hostess and managers were amazing. I had chargrilled oysters and New England clam chowder to start, thinking I would need more but the portions were substantial and filled me up. The food was exquisite and reasonably priced. All around, a great choice you won’t regret!

The seafood was delicious and fresh. Presentation was beautiful. Cocktails were great. The service was great in accommodating our large party. Words cannot describe the service we received from Arnold the manager on duty that evening. You must visit this restaurant if you are in Atlanta.

We had a dinner reservation but was running a little late due to a traffic jam. So the hostess sat us in the very back next to the restrooms. Upon our simple request this situation was Rectified. The grilled oysters were delicious. For our entrées we had grouper and the tuna, both were so very delicious and fresh. The ambience and our waiter were very nice and we will return!

Tried it twice and tried their affiliated seafood restaurants the suburbs. Good seafood but disorganized service. Since it happened three times and at two different locations, it seems management and poor training are to blame. If you go, enjoy the good seafood but be prepared to suffer through slow, inattentive, uninformed service.

Amazing food and service!!! Off the beaten path. Celebrated my son's birthday and they didn't disappoint. Nadia our server was amazing. The chargrilled oysters were excellent! Must try the crab & parmesan crusted flounder. I recommend this place. Military discount too.

Started off with goat cheese and shrimp Beignets. Then on to the best prime and real Red King Crab legs.

The food quality and attentive service continues to be the highlight at C&S. However, compared to many other offerings in the area, the portions are small and the prices are high.

C&S is our go to place for great meals. This was a big evening though, We had tickets for Billy Joel concert in the newly opened Suntrust Park new home of the BRAVES. Since we hadn't even to the Venue yet, we weren't sure of food options & it was going to be a long evening my hungry husband still wanted a great dinner before the show. This is where we think of for just that & Not just for the wonderful seafood. Their seafood is top notch. We have just become enamoured with the charcole grilled oysters on the half shell with a garlic butter & parmesian cheese, grilled and served & presented to perfection. I never ate oysters in all my life till these were served. I always thought they looked slimy & unappealing till these arrived. I had the best Chillean Seabass seared and topped with a creamy lemon burre blanc sauce that is so complementary to the delicate texture of the fish. My husband ordered the 2 lobster tails for his meal & he said it was prepaired to perfection, like all of his meals he has had served in C&S. Arnold Sye is the front end restraurant manager, and so is Alec they are so welcoming and accomidating. Arnold is the fun loving welcoming guy that is ½ why we go back. The food is always on point, but Arnold is what makes each visit a personally inviting dining experience for each & every diner that visits. There was a table of diners there this particular time that was complaining about everything that they could, obviously they wanted a free meal out of the evening so this is what they did to get it. They were complaining about everything from the water to the wine & drinks & appetizers & their meals & that they were in a rush because they had tickets to Billy Joel as well. If they were in such a hurry we can't understand why they would go to a fine sit down restaurant when they were in such a rush & ORDERED SO MANY FOOD COURSES. We all know there will be those people but that was a poor reflection on the diners not the maitre d'. We are regular diners of C&S, we love to dine here , we bring neighbors with us, when we have visitors fly into town from other countries this is where we bring them. It is intimate enough to be able to have a conversation & the food is always always perfection, but everyone falls in love with Arnold's infectious personality & that is something they end up remembering even after the meal is over. Just remember if you want a fantastic dining experience more than just a meal allow time to be able to enjoy the evening & realize it takes time to get a table full of different freshly prepared drinks, wines, appetizers, baskets of warmed breads & butter, then the salads & the time supposed to be allowed between courses to allow digestion, while getting out a table full of entrees & multiple side dishes, & expecting dessert. I cannot understand why any dinners would blame the staff & yet eat all the menu item ordered & then complain to get the manager to completely give them the entire dinner for free. They were the exception to the rule of dinners. Lesson here is if you want a fantastic memorable meal before a major even you must allow the time for it. Otherwise go eat at the venue. We knew we had to be at the concert by a certain time so we went to dinner early & only ordered our oysters & entree & a bottle of yummy wine. We dine in C&S enough to know our meals are always served with perfection & the staff is always so professional & welcoming & accommodating. It is so good you really should make a reservation in advance & plan to have an evening & not just a rushed meal.

Well...I had very high expectations of this restaurant from what I heard and what was suggested for everyone attending. For starters, they knew we were having dinner to celebrate his golden anniversary although my mother passed last year and didn’t want this evening (Dec. 21st) to go unnoticed. They stated it will be a memorable evening at their restaurant since I chose this one out of ALL restaurants in Atlanta. Never said a word to him or even brought a dessert to celebrate. I was waiting and waiting and still nothing. The bathrooms were out of order...so unfortunate. Yes! You heard me out of order and a foul smell was in the restaurant. Maybe a back up of sewage? Idk. They promised to take care of us, yet nothing. Food was just ok. Gumbo and Clam chowder tasted like it was scorched. At least my father enjoyed his meal...he had the grouper. Idk if I will give them another try. It was very busy so maybe it wasn’t a not so good evening for them. We all have not so good days.

Just a short Uber ride from downtown, this is a hidden gem near SunTrust Park. Excellent menu choices, including the oysters! Servers are friendly and fast.

First time for my wife and I at this restaurant and we loved it. We actually went there for lunch and between the oysters and the grouper special we had just a wonderful meal. The atmosphere is perfect. Definitely will dine there again.

This is an excellent restaurant located in a Kroger shopping center in the outskirts of Vinnings suburb. We chose this for a post movie dinner date and were very pleased. The assistant manager was manning the reception desk and welcomed us warmly and had a reserved booth well located and quiet ready. Our waiter Nickolas did a fantastic job of explaining the menu, catering to our special requests to share items and making wine and food recommendations. His actual service was impeccable and attention was paid to the placement of silverware, drinks and dishes. No throw it on the table. Also, the entire wait staff is dressed as real waiters not street people or extras from some gangster film. We began with oysters Rockefeller which came sizzling and had great flavor followed by a chopped salad of fresh greens and vegetables. Then it was on to the six ounce lobster tail broiled which was delicious and paired with steamed broccoli and mashed potato. Our beverage choices were Backstory chardonnay and Beefeaters Martimi and were properly prepared. The bread service was a nice raisin bread and some French bread with fresh butter. The noise level is moderate, seating comfortable, restrooms clean just what a restaurant should be.

I would never have guessed this venue could exist where it's located. I was staying at the Hyatt House and decided to find a restaurant in walking distance. Not your typical walking distance, but in warm Atlanta weather, it was worth it. Located in a strip mall near a Kroger, it's easy to overlook. I was in the mood for a good local craft beer and some oysters. The bartender was quick and attentive. I started out with Charbroiled Oysters which come as a half dozen. I also ordered oysters on a half shell which you pick out from the order sheet. I had 1 each of 6 different types. Don't ask me which was better. They were all great. Hollywood, T&A, Bluepoint, Terrapin, Wild Fire, Vavavoom, and Sweet Petite. Served with the typical condiments of horseradish, cocktail sauce, malt vinegar and hot sauce. The Charbroiled Oysters are phenomenal. Very much like Oysters Rockefeller. Large with a nice spinach and cheese touch. I tried the Basement IPA which is a local craft beer. It was very good and didn't need to try anything else.

This place was a wonderful surprise. Alec was very pleasurable when he greeted us at the door. Felt like we went back in time to a restaurant that had proud service people, great food and very authentic cocktails. Our server, Darrin, was very knowledgeable and every suggestion was spot on. Can't wait to go back.

First....the good....food was awesome. Had the grouper risotto. Excellent and well prepared. Lastly and equally important. We arrived on time for reservation. Seated at table of 8 near back. Eric L was our server. Only way I know is because that was in the bill. Never introduced himself or welcomed us. Totally clueless. Took him forever to get drink order/ app order. Kept telling us how busy he was. I don't care. His Letner came over then filled water and left. Never saw him again. We had to keep flagging him down to get drinks and additional apps, dinner order. Then extremely long wait for EVERYTHING. Never Management was/is totally clueless and incompetent. They where clearly overwhelmed. Saw them behind bar pouring to running orders. Should have been managing flow and labor. Even saw Mgmt blessing out staff over screwed up drink order. No class Back to our "waiter". He was bussing tables as he was taking orders and delivering food. Where is the bus staff!??? Then the audacity to do a 20% tip automatically...I get it...we had 8...but his service SUCKED! He was rude and unapologetic. Didn't even thank us for coming in....are you kidding me. Understand that this was an event night at Sun Trust. But they were not prepared

We had dinner and drinks at C&S before a show at the Cobb Energy Center (which is a short uber / lyft away). The strip mall plaza this restaurant is located in doesn't immediately suggest the kind of dining experience you're about to have. Our waiter Nick was knowledgable, welcoming and willing to make recommendations (which were spot on). The food preparation and presentation is outstanding: we enjoyed shrimp beignets, trout dip and char grilled oysters before moving on to the main courses. Fresh, classic seafood done right. Would go back if we're ever in town and would highly recommend this spot for a great date night experience.

Bartender's service is prompt. Was greeted in the matter of <1min from arrival. By the glass wine list is great and fully signifies fine dining. Service is timely. Oysters are wonderful & there is always a variety, also follows the freshness trends which an avid oyster eater appreciates! Only disappointment is I typically prefer my creme brûlée with berries as I like the refreshing pairing. If this is an option for an add-on than it was a missed service opportunity. Regardless, the custard was fantastic and I actually like that the entire top was not fully torched. Thank you C&S.

Great seafood so far inland. Very fresh & so flavorful. The steak is even amazing. The wine list is expansive & has something for anyone's liking. Staff is very knowledge and so friendly. Price is decent for the quality of meal & friendliness of staff. Absolutely love this place for a date night or celebration. The crab is also incredible!

We went to eat to C&S before the Billy Joel Concert at Sun Trust Park on 4/28. We had a table for 6 and the same experience as John S. Every thing we ordered was delicious but it was unfortunately overshadowed by the service. We had to stand up twice to serve water ourselves, server took forever to take our order, and was unapologetic. At the end he had the nerve to point out that he had not included the service in the bill. They were clearly not prepared for so many people.

We Enjoyed everything - had calamari, sea bass, seafood gumbo, Parmesan French fries and lobster roll!!!

My Fiancée and I ate here for the first time and it was a good experience. We had the Calamari and Crab & Parmesan Flounder. Great atmosphere!!

Me and my girlfriend came to C&S Thursday. Our server (Trent) guided us through the wine menu after asking what type of food we were looking for. He suggested I get this type of pinot grigo for my seabass and a mild red for my GFs swordfish special. The food was awesome! For dessert Trent suggested we add some caramel ice cream to the bread pudding...delicious. We will definitely be back.

It has been quite a while since my last visit here, that is a shame. Atmosphere is noisy, but vibrant. Food cannot be faulted. Service is excellent. My seared tuna was cooked to perfection. Parking is definitely an issue, but don't let that stop you visiting one of the best high end seafood restaurants in the area.

My husband & I came here for a last minute date night, this place did not disappoint!!! We used the OpenTable app to make a reservation & got seated instantly. Eric was a phenomenal server! The food + atmosphere was perfect!!! We will definitely be back

I love seafood. C&S has fresh seafood with a great oyster selection. The service is always great. The atmosphere is awesome to me. I love their meunière style. I wish we lived closer. Arnold makes sure your experience is great from the door to your table. They make you feel welcome. The bar staff is first rate.

This is upscale dining with prices to match. Top notch service & food. I got the flounder meunière with duck-fat-fried fingerling potatoes & sautéed spinach. Delicious. Others got branzino & red snapper with similar positive reviews. Other 3 shared a nice bottle of wine & I got a “filthy old fashioned.” No room for dessert.

Been here many times, but this time we took some good friends. We all got different type of seafood. Eric c was our waiter. Excellent service from Eric. Great appetizers. Wonderful seafood and steak dishes. I highly recommend this place for food, vibe, and fun.

We happened across C & S by chance as we went looking for Thai food and saw it while looking! What great luck deciding to eat here. Everything about this restaurant was fantastic ... the service, the atmosphere, and especially the food! Definitely recommend trying it!

Amazing oysters, strong cocktails and great service were featured on this busy Monday night. Our server, Shameka, a true professional with a great manner added much to our enjoyment. The 6 fresh oyster varieties were SO tasty and both of the grilled oyster options were great. Be sure to ask for the delicious bread, too. Thanks to Arnold for managing such a wonderful dining experience.

I don't know. Maybe C & S just sees itself as a second-rate, third-tier neighborhood restaurant and doesn't want to be bothered with some basic operational points that serious restaurants automatically attend to. More on this later. But first, I have to say that this COULD be a destination-worthy restaurant. Easy access. Fresh fish on display. Knowledgeable, attentive wait staff. Pleasant decor. Affordable pricing ($32-34 for most entrees). All four of us enjoyed our meals (halibut, snapper, salmon and sea bass). The sauces and accompanying vegetables were capably prepared and presented. But the little things.... Disappointing customers in the first five minutes by being out of their first two choices in wines? Really? Who's keeping track of inventory, and who's doing the ordering here? Telling customers they're out of sparkling water. Really??? Kroger is literally next door. Kitchen staff yelling and clanging and raising the decibel level unnecessarily. This is not a relaxing environment. A/C not working well in the front of the restaurant. And the strong air-freshener from the restrooms in the back of the room conjured up an interstate truck stop. No warm smile from the host entering or leaving. Bad day, Sir, or is this the surliness you want the place to convey? This is the South. At least the wait staff was friendly. Maybe I am being overly grouchy, but C & S fills a nice niche in the area, and it could do so much better operationally. It could be a neighborhood version of the Atlanta Fish Market. Maybe it doesn't want to be.

Every time we go to C&S, we are overwhelmed by the quality of the seafood, the service and the overall experience. I host 6 couples there, for my husband's birthday and we felt well taken care of and extremely well fed. This is a neighborhood gem!
Good seafood far inland
C & S Seafood is a dependable source of delicious seafood dishes. The tuna is my favorite, several types of sauces are available.
