I had the portobello wellington. It was tasty but not out of this world. My wife has a pizza & our little 2 yr old a pasta dish (which she loved). Everything we tried was flavorful, and they're liberal with the garlic, which I appreciate. I would definitely come again!

We went there before our visit to the Japanese garden and had the French dip and the chocolat brownie and coffee ice cream. It was the beste we ever ate !!!

Poor food- the polenta was very garlicky, and the italian burger was quite salty. Poor prices- extremely overpriced. Poor service- the waiter rarely came over to our table. We waited for 30 minutes until she took our order. Once the food came, our water bottle was never replenished, and my husband had to get up himself and fetch a new bottle!! The food presentation and environment were the only two pluses of this restaurant.

We went to Cafe Flora because it a place that we loved... NOT TODAY! We decided to have brunch... one mushroom egg scramble (good), one egg asparagus scramble (also good), one red beet salad (flavorless old lettuce, beets seemed old and just no real love put into it.) The sweet potato fries were the kicker... they were super soggy, cold and over cooked. (Not sure how you over cook something and have it be soggy other than letting them sit around for hours!) Our waitress was friendly but not really available... and the amount of time it took for our order to come out was at least 40 min I have to really decide if I would ever go back. Which is just sad... we have only ever had good experiences in the past... that is why I'm giving it three... would be 1-1/2 to 2 if not for the history.

Okay, I believe that a fine meal is often defined by the attitude and mates you bring to the table, as much as the service and food preparation. What else could explain the polarizing reviews of what for me was a top-shelf experience? Seasonal dishes rule here (Yakima Polenta; Mushroom Risotto). Don’t pass on the Coconut Tofu Lettuce Wrap app or a Strawberry Goat Cheese Toast. (Who needs dessert?) Expect fresh and delicious with meticulous seasoning; Leave all other vegetarian preconceptions with your kids at home!

Very nice vegan breakfast tofu scramble. Be sure to mentioned that if you order the vegan mozzarella cheese with it in case you want it melted. Otherwise it might come just crumbled on top of the tofu scramble. Friendly service. Would love to see them adding a few more vegan options.

We visited on a Saturday night with another couple, one of whom is (mostly) vegan and one who eats meat. It's one of their favorite "go-to" spots for special days because both of them come away very happy with their meals. Indeed, it is a real treat to have an entire menu to choose from and not have to worry about animal-derived ingredients hiding in things like cheese, mousse, etc. And the menu isn't based on pasta, rice, tofu and other typical veggie-type foods on most restaurant menus. Instead, there are choices like the portobello Wellington, made of deliciously juicy, steak-like mushrooms packed en croute in a buttery, flaky pastry. The side of winter veggies was perfectly spiced and sauced, but the veggies were not cooked fully enough for my taste. Hubby enjoyed the French dip sandwich with yam fries, which other posters have raved about too. The menu isn't particularly extensive - maybe a dozen entrees, including three versions of pizza we'll have to sample on our next visit. There's a nice selection of cocktails, beer and wine, mostly domestic but with several European imports too. Dinner for two with apps, three drinks, two entrees and one shared dessert was about $110 including tip. Parking was a snap. Unlike previous posters, we found the service to be excellent on this busy weekend night, and arriving at 6 p.m. meant we had no wait time for a table. If we'd been a little bit earlier we could have been seated in the nicer room full of plants and with darker lighting; as it was, our table in the bar area was much brighter and quite noisy - although not so bad as to make us raise our voices to have a conversation.

We went for the first time with some friends who introduced us to Cafe Flora. What a fantastic discovery for us. Hopefully I'm not using an incorrect term, but Cafe Flora is vegetarian. If you aren't vegetarian, don't let that stop you! The food is full of flavor. I'm still an omnivore, and I was more than happy and satisfied. The Portobello Wellington will satisfy just about anyone, IMHO. Tons of flavor, great texture. I am someone who never thought I would want to go to a vegetarian restaurant, but we're going back. This week. Great food, great staff, great options for beverages.

The perfect destination for a vegetarian meal, no matter what the time of day. Brunch is especially great. Check out the 'garden house' seating area.

I always love their food and changing selection. The menu is very helpful with the type of food you're getting (GF, vegan, vegetarian) and the waitress always asks if we want to make vegan or not - which is an appreciated extra step. The wait staff is very laid back, which I can see how people would be inattentive, but we prefer the relaxed atmosphere and ability to take our time. Nobody harassed to leave when we finished our wine after we paid, and our waitress continued to check on us. The food presentation is top notch, tastes wonderful, and has a great creative menu. I always recommend this place to people visiting Seattle but let them know about it's distance from most places to stay. We go when we can, but it can be a real pain to get to (hence the 4 stars).

This is a popular spot and there's a reason why. The food is first rate, outstanding ingredients, and presented beautifully. It's a real treat to dine here on the weekend. The only challenge is waiting for a table, but it is possible to call in advance to put your name on the list. That will surely reduce the wait. There are several dining areas in the restaurant. We find the solarium with the fountain to be the most comfortable and enjoyable. Flora's egg and tofu dishes are fabulous,. The variety of preparations of these staples and other unique combinations makes this restaurant a weekend destination.

We visited Cafe Flora for a late lunch when it wasn’t too busy. We were given a lovely seat by the window, framed by beautiful potted plants, and had a leisurely lunch. Difficult to choose from the creative vegetarian menu because everything sounded so tempting. The hot kale and artichoke dip with sour dough starter was amazing. And the black bean burger and yam fries were delicious. Great atmosphere and lovely staff.

This was our first visit and it was terrific. The food was delicious and and presentation was magazine perfect. Lots of choices on the menu so it was tough to decide. We had a wonton appetizer, Caesar salads, bread (to die for), pizza, tacos, French dip and a flakey pastry dish. For desert we ordered a Theo's brownie with ice cream, very small, but great. The only downer was the noise level from all of the hard surfaces in the restaurants. We had a very exuberant party of four that arrived near the end of our meal and the volume went up dramatically. Why are some people sooooo loud?

The patio area is really nice and sheltered as soon as you are seated you have no idea you are by a main road. The service is friendly and helpful. We ordered a bottle of wine the coconut tofu and the wontons. The coconut tofu is a must this was really fresh and tasty and a really big portion size. We decided on the burger with yam fries to share for our main this was more than enough food. The burger was probably the best vegetarian burger I have had. Really well made and really nice flavours. Worth a visit even if your not vegetarian! Make sure you save room for desert. I didn't try one but they all looked very nice also. A little in the higher priced end ( especially once you add in the wine ) but a really lovely meal.

I came for the gluten and dairy free pancakes but was happily distracted by the huevos nopalitos. These breakfast tostadas were so yummy, and the perfect portion to keep me going on a busy Sunday. I also enjoyed a lovely oat milk latte. Can't wait to come back and try those allergy friendly pancakes! 🥞

This is my 6th visit here, 3rd visit in the past 2 years. Always outstanding food, all vegan. Plenty of gluten free options. Cool atmosphere. Friendly, although a little sparse, service. Drinks are not excessively sweet, allowing other flavors to shine through. Always a pleasure, never disappointing. We will be back.

Wonderful service, good food, but some dishes were a bit of a disappointment. Family of four on Sunday morning around 10:00. We had to wait 10 minutes or so for a table. The hot chocolate was excellent, prepared with milk. My wife did not like the coffee. The waiter very graciously took it off of the bill even though we did not make a big deal out of it. The cinnamon roll was one of the best I have ever had. The fruit bowl was decent -- pineapple, orange slice, grapefruit slice, purple grapes. The Egg Platter egg dish was boring, no seasoning. Atmosphere is loud. The crowd was obviously mostly young and drawn to the trendy spot.

Atmosphere is gorgeous, great service and heavenly food! Yam fries, tofu scramble and vegan sticky bun all get my stamp of approval!

I loved this place. The food was delicious and the service was adorable. We sat outside. Shared a whole bunch of appetizers. Fried avocados, burrata, hummus. I had the artichoke croquettes with vegetable. I wish I had the recipe. And the coconut cake was amazing. The cocktail and wine menu was very good. Wait staff was very attentive. We had a great dinner.

Had breakfast here and reserved a table for 6, which was nice. Menu options were good, for veg and other restrictions. Friend and I both ordered the avocado toast, bread was so hard could barely bite or cut into it. Kids at the table ordered the waffle, usually a hit but not tasty whatsoever. One left it untouched. Other dishes looked about average, no raving reviews from others. The setting is nice, good neighborhood place but not living up to the hype on this day.

After trying Café Flora for the first time in January 2018, I have already been there three times. Whenever I hop over the pond from the Eastside, I make sure to drop in for lunch. Their Kombucha’s and Vitamin drinks are wonderful, and all their food has been spectacular.

Limited menu, small quantity and extremely over priced. On top of it, they were out of Avocado fries which we really wanted . Not worth the money.

We had an early Sunday night dinner. By the time we left it was packed. We had the vegetable stack, a kale caesar salad, and the polenta dish. All were very good. The polenta had a wonderfully spicy sauce which I loved. For dessert we shared the brownie with ice cream...yummy. Good wine choices were the topper. So glad we stopped.

This was the BEST vegan breakfast I have ever had. Their Heirloom Tomato Scramble with roasted potatoes was so delicious. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff and perfect little infuser teapots. Great experience overall. A must!!

Somehow they've found a way to satisfy even the meant eaters...Not that it's their goal, the food is very tasty and satisfying. At times long lines, call ahead to be put on the list, not a real reservation! A favorite place to eat once in a while.

We love this place for its great tasting sustainable dishes. Locally sourced. And Stumptown coffee. Yum. Perfect quirky Seattle.

My husband and I are carnivores. Our granddaughter is not. So we are trying to find places that we all enjoy and Cafe Flora was perfect. You wouldn't even know they didn't serve meat because all their options sounded delicious and the three we got were in fact great. The atmosphere is also really nice and the servers were very helpful and encouraged us to try different things. Parking was a little hard to find, but it was a Saturday. We are looking forward to going back!

We decided to have a small wedding reception at Cafe Flora. Not only was their food beautiful and excellent but they were also wonderful to work with. Even my father, a meat every day type of person, came back again to eat.

This place has a great atmosphere and excellent service. The food is amazing. It's vegan and they make the most imaginative and tasty dishes in town.

The prices and the descriptions of the food gave us high expectations this restaurant did not live up to. We shared the sweet potato fries, Oaxaca tacos, mushroom wellington, and pea ravioli. The sweet potato fries were not cooked right, soggy and sad. The tacos were way too spicy for two of us. The wellington and the ravioli were both okay. They just weren't worth the price. Basically, veggie grill is better. That goes for their service as well. Our waiter was barely around and not at all friendly. There are too many great vegetarian places in Seattle to settle for this place.

Good food in a wonderful atrium type setting. I have been here several times and enjoyed the mushroom wellington as well as the veggie burger and sweet potatoe fries.

Our party of 4 for dinner included one vegetarian, two vegans, and an omnivore, and everyone found something they liked. The menu was limited (5 entrees, 3 vegan, plus pizza and sandwiches) but everything we tried was memorable. To start we shared deconstructed wontons and squash gnocchi; I had the Oaxaca Tacos which were very comforting, with a zip from the smoked mozzarella. Two of our group had a squash lasagne which they loved, and one had a vegan portobello artichoke pizza, also excellent. Somehow we found room for dessert--coconut cream cake, apple pear crisp, and chocolate layer cake, all vegan. It was our last dinner in Seattle and it left us feeling warm & contented.

We enjoyed the many creative variations on eggs, omelettes, etc. The hot chocolate was magnificent. The service was efficient, and the rooms were attractively decorated. There is a lovely waterfall in one room, which we were lucky enough to be seated against. It makes a great stop when visiting the Japanese Garden.

I've been to Cafe Flora four times over the course of several years and I just love coming here. I have a gluten sensitivity and love how they have nice gluten free options to choose from. Their gluten free pita is very good. I also like that the restaurant is light and bright, with many big windows. I hate dark places where you can barely see the food in front of you. Over the last year I've been twice to dinner and once for brunch. At my last visit I had hummus with fried olives for appetizer and then the Oaxaca Tacos for main course. Both tasty. I am planning to return to Cafe Flora in the future.

I visit Seattle frequently and alway visit Cafe Flora. The last three visits I have had unbelievably rude and incompetent waitresses. They make for a most unpleasant experience. I used to adore this restaurant, but the management need to address the attitude if its wait staff before I go back. Once might be a fluke, but three times indicates a management that does not train and oversee its employees.

First I should say that I am not a vegetarian.. but I do love Café Flora. I hadn't been there in a while and I forgot how good it is. I had the French Dip Sandwich - no meat of course- and I didn't miss it one bit. I loved the Rubarb Orange Blossom drinks/dessert. I My friend duplicated my order and I know she loved it too. Prices are fair and reasonable-and the place itself has an open, airy ,informal feel-- not sterile at all. There are two rooms- one conventional the other is like an outdoor patio ( only indoor). So this is not just a good vegetarian restaurant-- it s a very good restaurant.

The dishes are not super flavor forward. I have been to Cafe Flora 5 times. One time I went for dessert and the coconut cake was delicious. Subsequent visits I was not super impressed.

Went for lunch on a slow Friday afternoon. The food choices were good and decently priced. We all ordered different scrambles which were tasty and the cheesy grits were yummy. The portions were not large but reasonably sized. However, the service was not good!!! - indifferent and at times, impatient. The drinks came slowly and not together. The check was placed on the table at almost the same time as our main courses. No dessert or coffee was offered and our server did not return. We finally had to wave the server down to order coffee and dessert. The women's restroom was really dirty and sorely in need of a general clean up and paint job - very off putting so I'm glad I didn't visit it until after I ate. It's disappointing because the food is decent but I hesitate to return. It's not pleasant to pay for a meal and yet feel like an annoyance.

This is a delightful restaurant with a great open dining area that opens up during the warm months. Very creative menu with delicious choices. Staff very helpful and friendly.

For vegetarian/vegan it excels. Very inventive menu items, delicously prepared. Sitting in the bid room with all the plants & the sun shine through s lovely.

Cafe Flora is a lovely restaurant with a garden feel. The menu has diversity and hits many popular favorites. We tried the oyster mushroom and leek pizza on the gluten free crust and it was tasty. The use of crushed almonds was particularly interesting. We also had the burger and sweet potato fries which met expectations. We finished it off with golden milk tea.

Great atmosphere under skylights, waterfall sounds and surrounded by clear glass. Started with the orange fig latte and it was very good. Ordered the cinnamon roll and the huevos platanos (seasoned tofu). Having a vegan breakfast is so very satisfying. Will definitely be back!

I was really just looking for a breakfast place on a Sunday morning when we happened on to Cafe Flora. I’m not vegan but they may have persuaded me to cross over. The Avocado toast & pancakes were really great. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next day. The coconut curry soup with yams was to die for. Can’t wait to get back to Seattle for their food

I've been eating at Cafe Flora for the past 5 years. It's one of the best eateries in our neighborhood. I will definitely miss it when we move to Tacoma in a month. We have been going there for celebratory occasions every two months or so, and I have never found any of their signature dishes or specials to disappoint. It is not the vegetarian restaurant of my youth with lots of healthy but often tasteless roughage to chew on. Cafe Flora is a gourmet vegetarian place, inventing new ways of matching flavors with a true artistry. It is no surprise that when I take neighborhood walks, most of the tables are filled, whenever it is open.

We came here based on trip advisor reviews and it exceeded our expectations. The service was good. The portions were perfect. Cost of menu is definitely justified by the quality and taste of the food. Would recommend this place to anybody in Seattle.

We returned to Flora for our Fathers Day Brunch. They never fail to please. The menu is quite extensive and contains no tofu. The food is always a delightful adventure in wonderful layers of flavored. Blueberry cornmeat pancakes with a slightly tart lemon sauce, or waffles with a pineapple sauce and apricot preserves. You do not need to be vegetarian to enjoy a great meal here.

This lovely restaurant has great atmosphere, friendly waitstaff and DELICIOUS food. Typically breakfast is my least favorite meal to eat out but Cafe Flora has changed that for me. We split two breakfast plates one was an egg scramble with grilled corn which had scrumptious layers of flavor. We had a choice of a potatoes or cheesy grits. I am not a fan of grits but these were really yummy. The other dish was grilled waffles with berries and chopped nuts. The presentation was beautiful; the taste was phenomenal. I am going back tomorrow before I head home! One warning. It is a vegetarian restaurant so if you are wanting bacon or sausage with your breakfast, this is not the place for you.

We come to Cafe Flora regularly and have to say that their food is good, the desserts also. But we've reached a point where we are getting tired of the up-tight service provided. For the price paid, you would expect them to be more into their clients...Disappointing!

This is one of the better options for Vegetarians/Vegans in Seattle. The place is spacious though advance reservations is advised during Weekends,They have many vegetarian choices and you will have difficulty in choosing. WE were six and chose Three Appetisers and Five Dishes for Main Course. The Idea was to share and savour the taste. The Chilli Fry and Tofu as appetizer aws very delicious. Every dish we tried was delicious.Though they had choice of desserts we did not try. Visit.

This used to be a favorite restaurant. But, the food is ALWAYS cold: fries, bean burger, everthing ! And it always noisy. And $7.00 for a cup of tea,

The staff at Cafe' Flora went out of their way to help our grandson enjoy his brunch. We loved the creative face they made of the pumpkin pancake he ordered. Our food was delicious and well seasoned. I had the vegetable quesadilla and loved it.

Absolutely, delicious! I ordered the Flora Grain Bowl, filled with tofu, quinoa, lentils, rice, veggies, and more. It’s loaded with a lot of garlic so don’t forget the toothbrush. For dessert, we had the chocolate brownie coupe and blackberry plum crisp. The quality is excellent, however, the prices are a bit higher than average. Kudos to our server and other staff who were friendly and welcoming.

My sister and I enjoyed this place so much! They had vegan options for me, among more standard options for her. The food was delicious and we would definitely go again. They even had vegan cinnamon rolls, my fave! An extra bonus was the incredibly welcoming staff.

I visited this place with my omnivorous boyfriend. He had a burger with cheese and yam fries and he loved it. He said it was probably the best sandwich he had ever had. I had a burger with pesto that I really liked, especially the bun. We had a cauliflower starter and it was delicious. The menu was very clear and easily marked which items were vegan or able to be made vegan. Overall I really enjoyed this place and would highly recommend it to anyone, omnivores and vegans alike.

We were in Seattle for a week and ate at a number of very good restaurants, but this was our favorite. Since it is not located downtown or in tourist areas the atmosphere was much more relaxed and the staff was much friendlier. We had the fried olive and hummus platter for an appetizer, the Oaxaca tacos and the gluten free version of the cheese Florentine pizza for dinner and the brownie coupe for dessert. All were excellent. The gluten free member of our party had no trouble eating here. As a plus there was plenty of on street parking available in the surrounding neighborhood.

Enroute to the Seattle Arboretum, we happened to drive by the Cafe Flora, and a quick glance convinced us to stop in... The place was very busy during the Saturday lunch hour, but our wait was brief (and we enjoyed the very tasty coffee while absorbing the charming ambiance highlighted by the greenery and large windows, rustic interior decor, and sounds of happy patrons). They offer a great variety of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free selections, many of which are prepared in creative combinations and quite yummy indeed. Staff were friendly and attentive too... we were pleased by our dining experience :)) Enjoy!

I love this restaurant! The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The food has been consistently good. My favorite is the Thanksgiving dinner. It's always terrific!

Every time we come here we either love it or hate it. I just don't know how the service fluctuates so much. The food is ok but NOTHING TO RAVE about. Nothing to wait in line for an hour plus. The prices are a bit high and the food takes a while to get to your table. The service is a bit spotty as servers get so swamped on the weekends and you wait long times for your drinks. I think there are better places in the city for scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy.

A quick TripAdvisor and G-oogle search for Vegan food yields Cafe Flora as a top result. I must say that this place is awesome. I was thoroughly impressed with their breakfast AND lunch/dinner vegan options. I usually make a tofu scramble at home but Cafe Flora has this as a breakfast item!

This is a bit out of the way for those in downtown but well worth the drive. The menu is excellent, the service good, prices are midrange to higher. Groups of most sizes can be accomadated.

Creative use of tofu to substitute for eggs! So tasty!Such a great solarium to enjoy delicious breakfast! The fountain and spacious layout made it feel like we were on island of our own during our meal.

We went here for brunch, and I can't wait to try their dinner menu! We got the cinnamon roll, the blueberry porridge, huevos rancheros, the portobello and kale scramble, and a side of biscuits and gravy. Everything was absolutely divine! I especially love the portobello and kale scramble. They use ingredients from local farms, so everything is very fresh. Can't wait to go back and try more!

Our favorite Seattle restaurant and we aren't even vegetarians! The portobello mushroom Wellington is my favorite, but we have other items and they are all terrific. Save room for dessert; what they can do with chocolate is amazing. Service is excellent, wine choices are readonable and good. Always a winner!

Very nice, large vegetarian restaurant. I loved the floral wallpaper in one of the three rooms. The place is like a large solarium. I went for lunch and dinner. Very nice service both times; the English pea tartine is delicious. The cobb salad is not especially distinguished —remember, no meat —but I liked the Rogue Creamery blue. Dinner was delicious, with hot honey waffle topped with delicious onion rings and fried mushrooms (I know, not especially healthy). Also enjoyed the Rice Lager and unique Blue Lavender Fizz

I have been a supporter of this restaurant for many years. My last two experiences have not been good. Yesterday's lunch was one of worst dining experiences I have had in quite a while. The service was terrible! The servers were abrupt, rude, and couldn't get our orders accomplished without a number of mistakes. The food was decent but certainly not what it used to be in previous visits. Unless this restaurant gets their act together in terms of quality customer service, I won't be back.

If you are a vegetarian (as I am), you know the feeling of having 2 choices on a menu. You're always happy when you like them both, but gosh it would be fun to have more options. At Cafe Flora, everything is an option! The dishes are creative, flavorful and outside the usual vegetarian canon. We especially liked the roasted carrot salad, Italian burger (a truly outstanding, made-from-scratch bean burger) and the coconut lentil soup. The atrium seating is like a magical garden. The drinks menu is unusual and tasty, overall this is a high quality vegetarian oasis with great customer service and a good value.

We enjoyed an excellent meal here in a pleasant garden room. The menu has a good variety of choices, with many vegan options. Service was friendly, if a bit slow. Parking was difficult but overall we would return.

As an omnivore, I'm always suspicious of food at restaurants that serve veggie and vegan. This place was so good I'd go veggie in a second if I could always eat here. The Wellington (made with mushrooms) was every bit as good as the meat version without the heavy feeling afterwards. The panzanella was a mix of amazing flavors and textures, and the polenta was creamy and full of richness. Service was also very good, and you can't beat the atmosphere.

I am not vegan but I love this place! Especially their brunch menu is just amazing. It has a very clam vibe to it with green plants all around and sun-shine peaking through the windows. They do not take reservations so plan to be there on time to get a spot and the parking is also very limited. But food makes up for all that! I love the southern platter and their coffee (mocha)...this is a deadly combination. They also have a variety of tea's that you can try. Overall the experience has always been great!!

This is by far my favorite place to eat in all of Seattle. The menu has plenty of options and all of them are tasty. After going vegan, I was pleased to even try Flax Nog here. Breakfast, brunch, lunch. Couldn't be better. I've only been a handful of times since I don't live super close but I've never once had bad service. Be careful, this place is good so it gets hoppin and the wait can get a little long. But still, worth it!

We were with 2 little kids, there was a little area for the kids with books and crayons and games, we could eat and drink and even enjoy. The breakfast was very good, fresh products, coffee was perfect, the service was kind and nice, the place is beautiful. Highly recommend.

We just stumbled across this amazing restaurant thinking we would just stop in for a drink to get out of the rain. Some things are better not planned! Great atmosphere and food. A nice selection of non-alcoholic drinks for my pregnant daughter and a nice local beer for me. The fried avocado and the crispy wontons were delicious. A great vegetarian and vegan restaurant. I wish they would open a restaurant in MA!

Very tasty food and drink. People is nice and friendly. Atmosphere was good. It worth to try. Jasmine tea was aromate.

I had high hopes after seeing a line waiting for a table as well as the reviews of the restaurant. Unfortunately, the service was awful, disinterested and slow. No smile from a single server. Food was okay, a bit bland. My Wellington plate presentation was to laugh as, sauce all over the side. Wouldn't return but I appreciate using local ingredients and a vegan menu. Hope you don't friendlier servers!

I had a fabulous meal here. I am not a vegetarian but if I lived in this neighborhood I would be here once a week. The drinks were very creative. The salads and entrees were very strong. Atmosphere great. Families, couples and business people. Great mix here.

We were looking for something different and delicious and we found it. Walking in it was bright and attractive and they were right there to seat us, we sat by a window and looked out over the garden, very nice we had a Peach Ceviche for an appetizer and it was fantastic! My husband had the asparagus croquettes and I had the Squash blossom pizza both were very good, I would of liked a little more squash blossom on the pizza, but it still tasted good.Skipped dessert as we were full! Will look for this restaurant the next tie we are in Seattle.

We waited for half an hour, and it was so worth it. The food was exquisite. The service was over the top. The desserts were equally amazing.

My husband and I stopped here for a late breakfast. Had a cup of warm coconut milk and poached eggs with greens. My husband had a scrambler with lemon infused ricotta cheese everything was delicious. Many thanks to the chef. Portion size on the roasted potatoes could be larger and wait staff was courteous. All in all a decent breakfast.

I came here with my parents for a birthday dinner on a Saturday evening. Everything we had was delicious, from drinks to dessert! I recommend making a reservation or expect the wait to be long even if you show up for an early dinner. They also serve a brunch that looks spectacular and a little more budget friendly.

So great to find places like Cafe Flora for those vegetarians. So many great options. It was delicious...as were the drinks. I'll be back for sure. The cheese pizza (made with smoked mozzarella) was fantastic. Dessert was unbelievable.

We were staying in hotel near the Space Needle and took an Uber to this cafe. The best part of the cafe was the beautiful greenhouse room where we ate. The food was just OK, certainly not worth the longish Uber drive (or the money for the ride). The help was friendly but kind of inattentive. Had to keep asking for things that had already been asked for and the waitress seemed kind of scarce. The woman who brought our food out practically threw it onto the table and then ran off without so much as asking if we needed anything. If you're nearby, it wasn't awful. But if you have to travel to get here, let it go.

One of my daughters is vegan so we occasionally go to vegetarian restaurants to make her happy. As much as I love meat, I thoroughly enjoy eating here. My favorites are the house salad, portobello Wellington, and chocolate tower. The atmosphere is quaint and the staff is very friendly. They have many accommodations for vegans.

We visited this cute garden cafe midweek before a trip to the arboretum. I was excited by the vegetarian menu and drinks. The food was mostly good- my vegetarian au jus sandwich was nothing special; my husband loved his Italian burger ; but my sisters weren’t impressed by the peach halloumi salad and falafel plate. What ruined the experience was the service. Drinks came out slowly. Kids quesadillas were served and eaten before we got our food. When adults got our meals, they came out in three stages, with biscuits and gravy (which is all premade) coming out five minutes after the other meals. No apologies or acknowledgment. I wouldn’t eat here again.

Raspberry beignet - wonderful Rhubarb corn waffle - wonderful Cinnamon roll vegan - wonderful Eggs (are eggs) Tea!!! Served in a 2-3 cup pot which means you don't have to ask for more hot water and rebrew from a used tea bag. Proper!

Food was great, service was okay. Our waitress didn't seem happy to be there and never checked back after we got our food to see if we needed anything.

The menu is a bit limited, although if you're a strict vegetarian, you'll be thrilled with the choices. Can even substitute tofu for the eggs on the breakfast menu. Nice too to have a choice of grits or potatoes. Greens for salad nice and fresh.

A bustling restaurant on a Sunday, and there was a line and it was worth the wait. A colorful restaurant with a few rooms . I loved the Caesar salad with fried capers; but there are egg dishes; soups; alcoholic drinks; vegetarian burgers done elegant; etc.. It has changing seasonal menus.

Vegetarian fare, as many know, is not what it once was. And, in the hands of skillful chefs, it can become a real culinary delight. Good reasons then to try Cafe Flora -- whether you are a vegetarian or not. I am not, but as I was recently off meat totally for the entirety of Lent, I did indeed give it a try and am very happy I did. The restaurant is some distance from downtown Seattle, so either a car, a cab or some knowledge of the city's bus system might be necessary to get you there. But go. Just reading the menu here is fun, and I could easily have selected a number of delicious sounding items. I chose the Portabello Wellington (I suppose because I was trying to get as close to meat as possible), and both the flavors and presentation were wonderful. Service was friendly and efficient. The pleasure of dining here is enhanced by very enchanting surroundings: there are several dining areas, all most pleasant, but the nicest by far is an atrium-like space with various small trees and plants and plenty of natural light.

Over priced ($75) mediocre fixed menu. Seated late for our reservation and then, while enjoying conversation and coffee at end of meal, we were approached and asked to leave our table because other reservations had arrived. Very disappointing.

Wonderful Saturday brunch at the lovely Cafe Florda. We sat in the patio room next to the waterfall. The service was pleasant and efficient, the coffee steaming hot and the breakfast platters flavorful and healthy. Highly recommend!

Let me say I am not a vegan. However, my Seattle family is. I am always leery when we go to dinner. This place was outstanding. Vegan yes.But the food was truly great. Nice staff and good service. Appetizers were good and entrees were excellent. Enjoyed it immensely. The desserts were out of this world.

Great service, fresh food, eclectic art/environment. Seated quickly, really delicious breakfast and large hot beverages. Good for vegetarian/vegan.

We met at opening for breakfast. We were not impressed by either the food or the staff. It took over 45 minutes to be served breakfast. The entrees were nothing to write home about. The cinnamon roll at $6 could be overtaken by a local bakery or even Fred Meyer's daily pastry offerings. Don't plan to return anytime soon.

Was traveling on my lonesome thru the PNW, and before leaving Seattle, I decided to get brunch here. Extremely flavorful and their vegan/vegetarian renditions of comfort foods did not disappoint. Even got a vegan pizza for the drive back to Portland.

After coming out of the back Country we were looking for a delicious fresh meal snd Cafe Flor did not disappoint. We ordered all the appetizers. Savory shishito peppers, a bucket of fried yams and the peach onion burata. Amazing. Had the risotto, polenta and peach and feta salad. When we could not eat any more, we ordered the peach and berry crisp and the cobbler. If you want to treat yourself to s savory meal and friendly staff, make your way to Cafe Flora. Couldn't have been better!

We were looking for vegan desserts on Yelp and Cafe Flora popped up. It was exactly what we wanted. We ordered their Chocolate Brownie Coupe, which included a vegan brownie with vegan coffee ice cream and topped with fresh caramel sauce and cocoa nibs. Intense chocolate and coffee flavor with the mix of textures of the firm brownie and soft ice cream. We also ordered the Chocolate tower, which was a bed of graham topped with rich chocolate mouse, coconut whipped topping and fresh raspberries and candied pistachios and surrounded by a drizzle of raspberry coulis. Equally awesome. We paired it with decaf drip coffee, which sadly was not super hot. That said, we arrived shortly before closing, so it was probably in the thermos a bit longer than it should have been. Atmosphere and service were very good. We might stop by tomorrow for a full meal.

I am NOT! a vegan but my daughter is so we went here for her birthday. Very nice restaurant. Service was very good also. I must admit that there was an excellent variety of appetizers, soup, and entrees. I really enjoyed my Tacos and asparagus soup. Salads were delicious and nutritious. My Vegan offspring truly enjoyed herself. I'm certain she will be going back.

Cool neighborhood, nice looking space, well run with good service. We had a Moroccan dish that was excellent and a polenta dish which was good. Refreshing to find a vegetarian restaurant that is not all vegan. Drive along the lake before or after dinner - very beautiful place Seattle!

Breakfast food? Check. Lunch menu? Check. Drinks menu? Check. Dessert menu? Check. And all that at 9:30AM! The food was delicious and the setting charming. I can imagine that the cafe turns into a loud mess later in the day, especially on weekends. However, overall it was a great breakfast experience.

Everything on the menu sounded so amazing, I was pleasantly overwhelmed. Three of us ordered three different menu items so we could sample each others. We all loved each dish. We wanted to go back for every meal. Plus with a small child It is wonderful to have real food/ healthy food on a children's menu. Cafe Flora is now a staple everytime we visit the Seattle Area.

Food was amazing! Service was amazing! Environment was cool! I had the blackberry pancakes they were light & so yummy - we also shared a side of fruit which is a great mix - oranges, blueberries, pineapple, watermelon, & grapes. Can’t wait to go back and try lunch or dinner

I love this place and come often. It is always excellent. If the vegan cinnamon roll isn't enough, then take a look at the rest of their offerings which are second to none. The food is amazing. The staff are also wonderful. Can't recommend enough.

In April, 2018, we visited Cafe Flora twice. My friend has a shellfish allergy, so we were very uneasy eating at restaurants that had a lot of shellfish on their menu. There is always the concern about cross contamination. We felt that we'd be safe at a Vegan Restaurant. I was very pleasantly surprised. I had their French Dip Burger, which was a Portabella Mushroom cap with cheese on a toasted bun that was delicious. The cup of au jus for dipping was GREAT! I had it on BOTH visits. Their coconut cake was delicious, also. Their side salad, the burger, and the coconut cake left me quite satisfied. This is not a real biggie, but on both my visits, I ordered their sweet potato fries, and both times, they told me their fryer was not working. Hopefully, they have it fixed now. I'm sure their sweet potato fries would have been delicious, too. When I got home, I googled Vegan restaurants in my area. If I can find one locally as good as Cafe Flora, I may become a vegan. If I could change anything about Cafe Flora, I'd suggest the staff be a little more friendly. They were not rude, but they did not display the welcoming, warm hospitality that I experienced in other restaurants. we didn't see a smile from the staff, even when they interacted with each other. Maybe that's just a way of life in the Pacific Northwest.

An excellent brunch at this very nice cafe! It’s a little bit outside of the city, but absolutely worth a visit. All food was vegetarian, but don’t let that scare you. Everyone in our group of six people thought this was superb, and the atmosphere was really laidback and nice. I strongly recommend this👍

For more years than I exactly remember Cafe Flora has always been a stop on our trips to or through Seattle. This vegetarian restaurant does every dish well. There is a relatively small, stable menu and usually something seasonal. Even non-vegetarians will love this food. The servings are good sized, which I personally appreciate. I always eat every bite. For dessert, try the coconut cake, a longtime dessert favourite. The restaurant is always busy, the service efficient and capable...but don't expect bubbly friendliness from the wait staff. They'll get your food to you reliably while it's hot, and it will be what you ordered. That's good enough for me.

I am a vegetarian. I greatly appreciated the variety of vegetarian dishes on the menu. For appetizers, we had the Brussels sprouts, the herb cheese stuffed mushrooms, and the yam fries. For the entrees, my friend had the Oaxaca tacos - a black bean, cheese dish. I had the portobello wellington. For dessert, my friend had the coconut cake and I had the brownie coupe which is a type of fudge brownie sundae. Everything was very delicious. The staff was friendly. I will definitely eat here again. This is a small parking lot behind the restaurant and there is street parking in the residential neighborhood streets behind the restaurant.

I'm not a vegetarian myself but had dinner there as some vegetarian friends were visiting. Everything we ordered was extremely tasty and delicate. The atmosphere of the restaurant with the indoor fountain is relaxing and perfect for a dinner with friends. They also served a very good Greek wine that reminded me of my vacation in Greece! Great and friendly service as well.

Four of us ladies went to Cafe Flora last weekend, and we all raved about the food. Not only was it beautifully presented and delicious, but it was also healthful. As a vegetarian, I really appreciated all of the wonderful options. I ended up deciding on the Hoppin' John cakes because it seemed like something I would not prepare at home. I really have never eaten black-eyed peas, but these little patties were wonderful. I also was adventurous and tried the collard greens, thinking I probably would not like them, but they were also yummy! This restaurant is great!

Had breakfast today at cafe flora. Because it was billed as a vegetarian place I had my doubts I would find something I would want to eat, but I was really knocked out by my meal. I had the grapefruit pancakes and man I kid you not they were great. My wife who is a vegetarian was in heaven. My friend and his wife shared a bowl of porridge whose presentation looked like a work of art. The food was good, the service was good, and the price was fair. If you plan on going, take my advice and call a head. It will be worth it or you will be waiting for a table.

Lots of gluten free options. Had the polenta, gnocchi, spinach and rhubarb salad with hummus plate and fried chili’s for appetizers. Hummus had gluten free pita option and was great. Polenta was by far the best dish. Chili were oily and I would not order again. Drinks were wine beer, turmeric chai, ginger cranberry ale and the garden cocktail. All were really good.

Cafe Flora has the best spread of vegan and gluten-free food. Be it the golden latte, or their mixed vegetable soup or even their pancakes. Absolutely splendid. Great service and ambiance guaranteed.

Flora is ALL vegetarian and vegan food items. NO meat or shellfish is allowed on the premises. The preparations may vary, but never fail to please. Service is quick and pleasant. Whether it is a weekend brunch, breakfast, lunch or dinner the menu will be varied and good. The two dining areas are both pleasant. We prefer the Garden Room where the windows open and breezes and waft through. Open 7 days a week.

The drinks are crest concoctions and very tasty. The vegan French dip was excellent. I had the pizza which was also very good Service was good. Price is middle of the pack

Really enjoyed our dinner. Ordered variety of food and the quality of food was above par. Friendly staff.

I went here with a friend for dinner - and we had a really nice evening. The location is super nice. We sat next to a little indoor fountain in a spacious room. There is plenty space between the tables and it's a very nice atmosphere. The menu is not huge, but has a number of really nice options. It was difficult to decide - and everything was really yummy. The biggest surprise however was the bill - it was way lower than I had expected... So overall an amazing experience - I will certainly come back!

We loved the variety of options on the menu catering as well as the choice of indoor and outdoor seating. This was just a stopover for us on our was out of state- definitely worth it!

Wonderful food with excellent vegan and gluten free options. Everything on the menu is at least vegetarian. We had a party of six. We shared appetizers and most of the mains. The Mediterranean plate was super as was the arencini. The risotto was the favorite main.

We went here not knowing this was a vegan, vegetarian restaurant. The atmosphere was great. Service was friendly and the food was delicious. I had pizza and my husband ate the portobello mushroom French dip which was wonderful. We would go back. Yum!

The restaurant has two rooms- one with several large ficus trees and a fountain. The menu is incredibly varied with multiple choices taking advantage of the myriad fresh seasonal produce. Wonderful seasoning and spices accompany the attractively presented meals. There are gluten free and vegan options. Service is friendly and unhurried. Any vegetarian or carnivore would be happy here.

Brightest, most comfortable place in Seattle. Food and Service ALWAYS excellent. I am not Vegan or Vegetarian but I will always recommend this place.

I've visited this restaraunt twice in a few months now (I'm from out of town) and I swear everytime im in seattle I'll go back. The food is delicious - they have great veggie, vegan and GF options, and thier drinks are also amazing. Great juices and good coffee, and some tasty high end teas. Family friendly for sure, they have a little play area for kids. The atmosphere is beautiful, lots of natural light and green plants/foliage. Stunning during the summer! Service was pretty good, but a little slow both times I visited. We waited 40 minutes for a table - but that was on the weekend so it's to be expected. There's a lot of seating, and tons of demand!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere at this cafe, there are 2 sides and the huge windows all around are brilliant. The staff are friendly and the menu is great other than the fact that there are no waffles or pancakes. Just savoury. As the daughter of a dad who is a chef and a step dad who is a self made chef, and growing up in the business, I have always wanted a cafe where people can eat brunch both savoury and sweet(ish), so this was a bit sad for me. We had cinnamon buns and a latte for me and amaaaaazing fizz for my daughter. We were wowed. I’d go back just for that order again:) I would also work there as a waffle, pancake, crepe maker!

We sat out on the patio; it was really cool out their. I loved all the greenery; felt like I was somewhere tropical. I normally don't get drinks out but the menu sounded too good. My friend and I got the hot apple cider and the combo (1/2 raspberry lemonade, 1/2 cranberry ginger cider); so good! The latter was so interesting, not like anything I've ever had before. It sounded so different I had to try it and glad I did! I have a gluten and dairy allergy and they were able to accommodate me with multiple options. Their menu is awesome because it denotes what foods are GF, vegan, and/or soy-free. I got the Italian burger with yam fries. So good! The menu didn't denote the sandwich as GF, but when I asked about it, they were able to use a special bread. It was more like a pita. I love french fries and was happy to have allergy friendly french fries! I truly enjoyed my visit; good eats!

Seattle has no excellent vegetarian restaurants, although it has a few that are very good and many that are average, at least if the innovation and quality of the food are the primary criteria. Cafe Flora is really popular with an affluent, middle aged demographic but I think that must be based on the ambiance more than the food. It is a medium sized, airy restaurant with the dining area surrounded by large windows, so it’s a pleasant place to sit, talk and have lunch. But the menu is quite limited, although enlarged by the breakfast menu also being available at lunch. A concentration of pizzas and tofu or egg scrambles makes it kind of ho hum as far as innovative cooking is concerned. A little far from the downtown core in an affluent neighbourhood. Pleasant if you in the area, but not worth going far out of your way to visit.

We ordered the rhubarb salad and the mushroom Wellington. I would not recommend either. Sorry, Cafe Flora, we won't return. Horribly Bitter salad and a gravy on the mushroom Wellington that just was not edible. Fortunately Seattle has many other great restaurants to choose from.

This is a large cafe in the Madison Valley area. Food is vegetarian, with excellent salads and creative ways with mushrooms. Wine was OK. Good atmosphere and very friendly helpful staff. Only takes reservations for large parties. Best room is the glassed in area.

I went to Seattle with my daughters, who eat mostly vegetarian food. I am trying to cut back on meat and dairy, so selected this restaurant to try. All three of us loved this restaurant. The space is beautiful and open (one section is open-air) the staff was attentive, and the food was to die for. I was not expecting to like it that much. I had the Portobello Wellington the first night, and LOVED it. Did you notice I said the first night? Yes, we had to go back our last night in Seattle. We tried different things and everything was great. It is also artfully presented, so all of your senses are happy. I strongly suggest this restaurant to anyone going to Seattle.

This is a must visit for vegetarians in Seattle. This is our second time here and the ambiance is beautiful and the food terrific. Many choices of veg/vegan options and every dish we tried has been delicious.

On holiday in Seattle on our 25th wedding anniversary we wanted a truly special meal (not a swanky restaurant with 1 vegetarian option) and so based on reviews decided this was the place. We were not disappointed, there was so much choice and the food was outstanding. It was not at all pretentious with very friendly and attentive staff. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the desserts in particular - pity it is 4500 miles away or we would definitely be regular visitors!

We've dined at Cafe Flora at least 10-12 times over the past few years, and the service and food have been consistently good. The waiters/waitresses willing accommodate dietary restrictions with a smile. They have a decent selection of sweets of varying degrees of sweetness, choose wisely. The decorum includes large trees and plants. Try to gain seating in the main dining area by arriving early, since no reservations are offered. Be sure to visit their new little sister, Floret, in SeaTac airport.

I am not vegan or vegetarian, but I do love good food! This place is definitely a winner! My sister and I went in there for breakfast. Very clean and comfy atmosphere. Had some herb tea, the quesadilla Verde, and a delicious brownie! It was $52 for the two of us.

I love it here, from the plants to the drinks! Everything here is beautiful and unique. I am grateful for a beautiful menu and they definitely got it goin’ on! I love the brunch menu. The staff are always very friendly. They’ve really gone above and beyond to make sure everyone is safe during these trying times.

The only thing worse than the mediocre food was the service. Arrived at 6pm. Didn’t see a server for at least 15 minutes, over half an hour before we saw the first drink. Roasted Brussels sprouts were raw, tofu appetizer was uninteresting and that ended up being the same dish that came off the children’s menu.

Very reasonably priced food, presented beautifully and tastes great to boot. The service was friendly, prompt and low key. Everyone enjoyed their meals - we loved the the fried olives and hummus app, the polenta, tacos and Mediterranean carrot salad. The warm avocado soup was interesting as well. We'll be back for sure.

Gorgeous and amazing food! We’ve been vegan for almost a year and this restaurant renewed our vow! We looked up the cookbook to copy some recipes but they are pretty complicated. Knowing that made us even more appreciative of our visit! Cocktails to die for! Dessrts beyond compare!

First, I am a confirmed carnivore. My sister is a vegetarian so she took me there. I have returned time and time again and have never been disappointed. From the Portobello Wellington to their flourless desserts, this place is fabulous. Don't miss it.

We had lunch there (we missed the brunch by half hour). The drip coffee is strong and great flavour. Their soups were so delicious and just the right amount of spice. We shared a falafal sandwich which was good too, came with some amazing sweet potato fries... We didn't have an appetite for desserts, but they looked yummy on display. The ambiance is great, designed like a woodden cabin with a lot of sunlight. Definitely go while you visit the Japanese garden or the arboretum.

As a veggie, I appreciate going to a restaurant that has several options. N I C E! Makes me feel lucky and special, so who doesn't want this experience? After I picked what sounded good in the moment, was very happy that it ended up being delightful. Thanks for the great meal. Want to also say the staff is very upbeat and helpful, which certainly makes for a pleasant environment.

This place is amazing. It is a vegetarian restaurant, which means they have mostly vegan dishes but some have cheese for those who want that. This works well to more than satisfy everyone in your party. They also have many gluten-free options or can make dishes that way. Now, let's talk about the taste. The food is incredibly delicious, creative, and just plain awesome. The servers are attentive and efficient. There is a great ambiance in this place and it is a large space so you don't feel cramped. Very colorful and fun with lots of light. I had the French Dip sandwich made gluten free and it is already vegan. It is made with mushrooms and GF pita bread. Yam fries on the side - wow. I will not forget this one! We went on a Saturday night and there was a wait but it was faster than expected and definitely worth it. I believe they may take reservations if there are 6 or more in the party.

Never ate at a vegetarian restaurant before and it was good. My mom is NOT a vegetarian and enjoyed it. The fresh soup was great, they do cook eggs. The salads are wonderful. Service adequate but not the most friendly for the first visit.

I met others for a committee meeting, we enjoyed brunch specials like huevos Cubano and beignet along with beverages. They have great innovative cocktails, and mimosas. We had to wait about 20 min to be seated but once seated we were served quickly. Note they have multiple gluten free, soy free, vegetarian and vegan options, so good for a mixed group with differing dietary needs.

We had a party of five and shared everything. The mushroom Marsala was great and the coconut tofu with chili oil was super interesting. Overall yummy but not spectacular.

Our lunches at Cafe Flora used to wow us. After a several year hiatus, we had lunch here again, bringing visitors. The thrill was gone. FOOD: 3.0. Flora Grain Bowl. Ordinary taste; the cooked tofu tasted a bit old. SERVICE: 3.5. No issues. AMBIANCE: 3.0. Social separation due to COVID; we had lunch in the tent set up in the parking lot. Though much less attractive than the restaurant proper, it was comfortable. The one major distraction occurred toward the end of lunch when an employee had to push a large partially-filled dumpster and other garbage noisily through one edge of the tent, but due to the COVID configuration they really had no choice.

We were staying near Pike Place market and could not find a vegan/gluten free friendly option for brunch for a business meeting. Cafe Flora was suggested and it could not have worked out better. So many options and everything we had was very tasty. We will definitely be going back.

We had a lovely family dinner at Flora, and would absolutely recommend it. The parking lot is small, but street parking is available nearby. We were seated next to the bar, which was bright and cheerful. It was quiet when we arrived, but filled up quickly, and the background noise was surprisingly loud, which made it a bit difficult to hear some of the conversation. The room was also a bit chilly at first on a cold February night, so we were glad we wore sweaters, but as the room filled, it was quite comfortable. Service was rather slow, but we weren’t in any rush, and our extremely busy server was very friendly and cheerful, so this was not a problem. The food was so creative - delicious and beautifully presented. We shared 3 starters: the Za’atar Hummus Plate was quite good, and very colorful. The Roasted Grape and Hazelnut Bruschetta was amazing, and the Yam Fries were deliciously addictive. Everyone enjoyed their entrees, which were surprisingly filling and completely delicious. The Portobello Wellington was quite substantial, and you would swear it contained meat. The Apple and Blue Cheese Pizza was huge and tasty. And the Oaxaca Tacos were very flavorful and a favorite selection. We were all well-fed, but couldn’t resist sharing some Grapefruit and Lime Bars, which were light and yummy. Overall, there is a good variety of selections to make just about anyone happy, in cheerful, friendly surroundings.

5 stars! Amazing healthy and delicious food, interesting menu, outstanding service. Menu includes turmeric milk, kombucha tonic, foragers scramble, lots of gluten free and vegan options.

I'm vegan but my husband is neither vegetarian or vegan. My husband liked this restaurant very much but I must say for me it was closer to love. I imagine the menu changes often but he tried the taco dish. It was a vegetarian dish and contained dairy cheese. He like it very much. I tried one of their vegan pizzas. The crust was great...thin, delicate and yet crispy. The nondairy cheese was just right. We tried the bread plate for an appetizer and it was wonderful. We had four thick-cut slices; two were wheat or whole grain and the other two were white...oh,boy...yummy. We split an entree salad which was also very good...lots of interesting and tasty ingredients. We finished with dessert! He tried the carrot cake and I had vegan ice cream...it was awesome. Do yourself a favor and save some room for dessert!

The quality of food is maintained since my last review but the quantity and price are high. The service is good and you have ample parking place near.

Unexpectedly ended up here during the breakfast hr ... no regrets! I choose the rosemary biscuits and gravy; they were delicious! Wish I had ordered two :) Nice waitress. Beautiful waterfall feature and cute succulents made the atmosphere down to earth and relaxing. Can't wait to explore this menu!

As first time visitors to Seattle, Cafe Flora was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. While it is not cheap, the ambiance and the stellar food more than make up for the cost. We ate outside on the lovely patio, had a waitress who pace the meal nicely, and enjoyed an evening away from downtown Seattle that was second to none!

As you can tell from the title of the review, I'm not a vegan nor a veg. Sometimes I find myself at a vegetarian establishment and usually I can get along, but I'm rarely delighted. I can't remember having a destination vegan dish anywhere. Well, now I do. Ginger: First things first, then. Our server was Ginger and she was delightful and patient. My wife and I arrived almost on time for our reservation. Our host who made the reservation showed at t+45. We thought that Cafe Flora might get a little anxious, but not so. Ginger checked in from time to time, she reassured us and brought us a basket of bread and our fancy drinks (more later) to tide us over. And in all ways Ginger was helpful, accurate, and personable. And isn't Ginger the perfect name for a vegan/veg place? More Ginger: A non-alcoholic beverage containing cranberry, lots of ginger, and lemonade. You'll want another. Atmosphere: Quiet and leafy. Even though we were indoors, it was like being at an evening garden party. Favorite dish: French dip with portobella mushrooms.

We had brunch here on a busy Sunday morning. We sat outside in the garden, which was shady and pleasant. The service was good, and the vegan biscuits and gravy were good. They had good, unusual mimosas. Mine had rosemary in it.

I had the Huevos Platanos (VEGAN) so good and crispy the Platanos were cooked very well just the way I like them! There was so much food and it all was so tasty and satisfying.

My husband and I love this place for weekend brunches. The food is amazing and the staff is happy and friendly. Each recipe is created with love and lots of attention. If you are in Seattle and looking for happy meal, then this is the address.

We had the vegan linguine and tacos. Both well balanced dishes. Good an attentive service. LGBTQ friendly (like most places in Seattle?)

If you're looking for a great brunch or lunch place- look no further! Cafe Flora blends healthy meatless meals full of flavor. Savory or sweet, they've got it. Be prepared for weekend lines, but it's well worth the wait. You will not be disappointed.

We got take out during our mandatory stay at home orders in WA. We have always wanted to try Cafe Flora and it didn't disappoint. We ordered brussel sprouts, the flora grain bowl and the italian burger. All were amazing!

I went to Cafe Flora for the first time for dinner a few days ago, and I can't believe I've never been before! From the minute we walked in the door, our party of 5 were greeted promptly and immediately got a table. Our waitress was the sweetest, most accommodating waitress I have ever had in my life. We had someone at our table with many dietary restrictions, and she happily took the time to go over meal options with them. I highly recommend getting the yam fries if you come here! They were absolutely delicious, and I would come again just for them. All of our drinks and our main dishes were amazing as well though! I am a vegetarian, and since this is a vegetarian restaurant it was so nice to have so many options for food. This restaurant is DEFINITELY worth the price! It's not the most expensive out there, with each dish being around $15. But everything you get is well worth it! The atmosphere was very calm and relaxed, and everyone was so kind. Overall, I had a wonderful dinner here and would highly recommend it to anyone! I will definitely be coming here again.

The evening we had dinner here was clearly an off night. They don't take reservations for parties under 6, and we four had to wait quite a while, even though I counted 11 vacant tables. When I asked the host about that, he said they were short on servers, and we wouldn't want to be seated before there was a server ready for us. But waiting so long was annoying, and he should have said something to us earlier about the reason for the wait. An apology would not have been remiss, nor would a little appetizer while we waited, looking at empty tables. But, the food, once we could eat, was very good, with one exception. 3 of us ordered the Harvest Polenta, scallion polenta cakes, chanterelles, kale, squash, pesto, hazelnuts - it was excellent. Delicious and playful. 1 of us ordered the Portobello Wellington, a portobello and pecan pate in puff pastry with mashed potatoes and vegs. It was merely lukewarm, not a Good Thing, since that dish arrived quite a bit after the rest of us had been served. Very disappointing. It is a good dish, usually, but not served almost cold, and served late. Otherwise, the plum shiso shrub fizz was really good - I loved it, and I don't usually like bubbly drinks. The combo, 1/2 rosemary lemonade and 1/2 cranberry ginger cider, was less exciting. Several other things on the menu sound very interesting. I hope the service is less challenged next time.

I eat here regularly for breakfast and lunch with my vegetarian friends. As a meat eater I''m never disappointed! The food is always good and the service matches.

There is no end to the high praise that I could give to this restaurant. As soon as you walk in, the calm, clean and eco-friendly atmosphere are front and center. The staff is attentive and kind. The drink and food menus are divine, with more choices than you could ever hope for. This truly is a vegetarian's dream. The food itself is superb. I go to this restaurant every time I visit Seattle.

We had an early Sunday brunch at 9:30am, and by the time we were leaving at 11am there were people waiting outside. The cinnamon roll is great - but definitely split it (we did between 4 people). Overall fresh, interesting vegetarian choices. Would come here again.

Had lunch here this week and the food was delicious, beautifully presented and unusual. I had the cheddar/apple sandwich. The service was also excellent. Highly recommend Cafe Flora - ask to be seated in the atrium.

I was very excited to go here as I am vegetarian and it does have great reviews on trip advisor. We wanted to go for dinner - and maybe thats where it went wrong. It closes at 9pm, so we go there just before 8pm, but it was already winding down and I felt the staff were a bit 'over it' for the day. They were not very welcoming. Once the waitress had been assigned to us she was very pleasant. But even before our food came they were cleaning up all around us and in the kitchen which we could hear, and people were leaving so it felt like we had arrived far too late. This was then really obvious when the food came, it arrived within 5 minutes of ordering and the tacos looked anything but fresh. It seemed they had been sat around all day. They tasted ok, but just looked a bit 'crusty'. So I felt the meal was far to expensive and like we had not really been valued as customers. I would recommend that if they do not wish to do evening meals, they should make it clear that you need to arrive much earlier then we did. On the plus side the menu had a great variety, the wine was really delicious, and the neighbourhood was very nice.
Must try this place
Great food and great service. Their menu is excellent and staff very courteous. Prices are reasonable. We tried their soups and dish with jack fruit. Very nicely done and would recommend. This place has vegetarian menu.
