Great atmosphere with very good food. The wild mushroom and herb ricotta pizza was fresh, hot, and very, very tasty. Extra parmesan on the side for those of us who love cheese. The cafe was bursting at the seams with Christmas shoppers, but the staff remained welcoming and seated us in an organized fashion. Place your order at the cash, carry the "little black book" to your table, and await delivery of your meal. Which will be milk free from BGH, local and organic in season, free of hydrogenated and partially-hyrogenated fats or oils. A wonderful menu, moderate pricing, great for all ages from infants to grandparents - really. Located on the 4th floor; this is not the E on main.

I have always associated Nordstrom with expensive, so when a colleague suggested this place, I felt skeptical about spending 40 dollars on lunch. But Nordstrom surprised me. Great food and service which was at par with the standards of Nordstrom but st prices that were at par with a deli. This is a place where you can feel a tad luxurious without emptying your wallet. Must go!

Great updated menus. Two of us shared starters for lunch. Crispy tacos were great! Two in an order. Crispy cauliflower was served on hummus with a few olives. Flavor was very good. Would have liked a few veggies or something to scoop up hummus. Tomato soup was terrible. Really really salty. As was the crostini served with it. Neither of us could eat it. Server did not comment when we finished and had barely touched our soup. Normally I would have commented, but it would mortify my dining partner. Oh well, we’ll be back anyway.

This is the location of my monthly board meetings and I always enjoy the food here. It's often forgotten being at the top floor of the Nordstroms. The food is always very well prepared. I haven't had a bad meal yet. Next time you're in the Southcenter Mall and don't want to settle on the food court, stop by this place for a great meal!

I really liked this place. Specially because I spent three weeks in the area and the shopping center does not have many options for eating so I was glad to find this restaurant with more options and a nice ambience. I really recommend this restaurant.

I highly recommend Nordstrom’s Cafe for lunch or dinner. They offer a fresh sheet plus their menu, which is updated seasonally. The food is better than the surrounding chain restaurants. I have had dinner twice recently. First was salmon served with a farro salad with roasted vegetables. Delicious and very reasonably priced. Second was their tomato basil soup followed by pasta with asparagus in a cream sauce. Again delicious and very reasonably priced. Wine is available. I always try to have one dinner at Nordstrom’s while in Seattle on business.

Nordstrom is known for upscale clothes and shoes and thus the food at their cafe. Depending on where you visit Cafe Nordstrom the menu may vary but the food is always good. We visited their "flagship" store in downtown Seattle beautifully decorated for the holidays with Christmas trees and along the escalators hung long strings of giant ornaments. At 11 am last Friday the cafe was almost full and we were first in line to order. In a flash a line formed behind us. Lunch time! By the time we finished our meal the line had grown to 30 people. This shows how popular Nordstrom Cafe is, but don't worry, orders are taken quickly. We chose turkey panini and chicken with angel hair pasta, soon delivered by a personable server, in this case Jason, who filled our water glasses and brought an ice tea but didn't charge us. Happily, we sat in a comfortable booth rather than a table. With all the choices to eat in downtown Seattle, like in the adjacent Pacific Place and Westlake Center, you'll find Cafe Nordstrom a convenient and consistent winner.

Casual dining on the 4th floor of Nordstrom. First time customer while visiting Seattle. Lunch time was quite busy but had no problem of finding a table. The meal was much better than the normal fare in a department store. The spicy shrimp and angel hair pasta was very good. Menu price was fair and we had very attentive services. It was a nice break after a busy morning.

hard to go wrong with their prosucttio and argula pizza. Fresh, flavourful and delicious. If you have room try the macaroons. Staff always helpful, can be a bit of a wait during lunch time and a tad noisy but for lunch thumbs up...

Lower rating comes from the quality of the service, the sticky table, the dirty forks and the stale chicken in my otherwise tasty salad. Food came out in a timely manner, but wait person forgot the flatware, then brought soiled forks. Pizza was okay but no better than a frozen pizza. In the picture: Chicken, Apple & Goat Cheese salad and Pepperoni pizza.

Cafe Nordstrom is a grand little respite far from the shopping mode offering lovely soups, sandwiches and salads as well as sweets. Just perfect for revving up the engine before returning to the shopping frenzy.

My friend and I met for lunch. We love to sit, talk and dine. Service was ok. Hard to get water refills, or plates cleared. Other times that was fine.

I had the penne with sausage ragout and it was to die for! I had the peanut butter chocolate rice krispie square for dessert and it too was to die for! I always stop for lunch at a Nordstrom Cafe when shopping at Nordstrom while in the USA.

Well I have to say this isn't a place I would have gone looking for , but after having the tomato pasta dish my tummy was pretty happy. The cafe seems to stay busy , and most folks come in for "a favorite" on the menu, so they must be consistent. Service is a bit different , with ordering at the counter then sitting down, but the wait staff sorts it all out for you and it's all good in the end. Give it a whirl , I liked it!

Nordstrom has great salads and very good service that's fast and friendly. Love the tomato basil soup and the specials often are a nice surprise. One disappointment is seeing how their crostini is now suddenly sliced very thin which seems like a cheesy way to save costs. It comes off as seeming like they're being very cheap with something that was a nice add-on for their soups and salads. Not sure why the change was made.

Nordstrom is synonymous with excellent quality and service and the Cafe was no exception to that rule. The service was wonderful. The food was wonderful. The Cafe was very clean.

Shrimp angel pasta was the best. Don't forget to ask some fresh bread with butter. Other entrees are also pretty good too!

Whenever I'm shopping, I always stop into the Nordstrom Cafe for lunch. My favorite thing to have is the tuna melt and the tomato soup. I also love the pizzas and the angel hair pasta. The desserts are delicious as well, but I'm usually already too full to have them. Way better choice than food court food. Great service and pretty dining area as well.

Whether you are looking for a quick bite by yourself and want to read a book while dining, or enjoy going to a casual, quality place where a glass of wine with you meal with a dear friend, this is the place. We both enjoyed the gourmet hamburger with shoe string fries and shared a chocolate brownie, ice cream dessert. As always the service, and quality of our food was very good. You can always count on a comfortable place to dine at Nordstrom Cafe where the service and quality of the food is excellent.

I have eaten at Nordstrom restaurants in Denver and Costa Mesa, and the Cafe in the main Seattle store is as consistently good as the rest. The restaurant was very crowded for lunch, but the wait was less than 10 minutes. You stand in line and wait to order at the counter. You are then seated at a table and served by staff. The servers were very pleasant and friendly. I had a margarita pizza that was very good. It had just the right amount of cheese with sliced of fresh tomato and shreds of basil. It was slightly under-cooked, which I chalked up to the lunch rush. If you're shopping at Nordstrom, or even if you're not, this is a great place for lunch.

Cafe Nordstrom in the flagship Seattle store can be counted on to provide a quality meal at a fair price. We usually stop here at least once when we make our annual visit to Seattle. The sandwiches are well crafted and very tasty. The salads are generous and quite tasty as well. The staff are very friendly and show that they care about their customers. The location is also at the downtown terminus of the light rail for added convenience.

The place to stop after a tiring day of shopping. Tucked away on the second floor, peaceful and quiet. A chance to rejuvenate with lunch and a glass of wine.

When in Seattle Nordstrum you have to visit and shop. The cafe is good , you order and pay first then sit down where order is served efficiently by very nice servers. The wine we had was very acceptable and for Seattle a good price.

We arranged to meet a friend here as it came recommended. We arrive before our friend did and found we needed to order everything separately. So we ordered drinks, paid for them then got a table. We were told to tell our waiter we were waiting on someone and she arrive we went back to the counter and ordered and paid for our meals. Being Australian this method confused us when it comes to tipping as, like most countries, tipping is an ususual custom. We usually just add 20% to the bill as that's what we've been told to do but this place didn't give us that option so it was really strange given a person brought us our food AFTER we'd already paid. Very strange. Anyway, the food was great despite the weird model, but if you're a foreigner without a local to clue you in, you're probably better off with a normal restaurant. We felt like giving a cash tip but no-one had local money so we left hoping that was the right thing to do.

If you have read any of my reviews, you'll know I give a higher rating when the food is a fresh and healthy menu choice. Typically, I'm eating at a restaurant with family members who orient to the high fat, high salt, low fiber menu items. Hence the reason why so many of my restaurant reviews are for salads and seafoods, as that is the healthiest choice I can find on a menu that has items to satisfy my entire family. For lunch today my choice was the herbed chicken. It had been broiled moist and seasoning tasty. The accompanying roasted zucchini, peppers and carrots tossed with baby spinach and lightly dressed in a vinaigrette included cooked wheat berries that were soft but still nicely chewy and gave the veggies a nice texture.

Hello !!! New remodeled and lovely. Had the Crispy Avocado Tacos and they were amazing. Beer could have been colder and the lady with the screaming baby could have been considerate to others around her , but this place is a winner .

You can get a surprising nice meal at this cafe. The service is good and the quiet ambiance is a nice respite from the hectic shopping.

This was my Asian chicken salad and it was wonderful. I had a cup of tomato basil soup to start and it was hot and tasty. My server was prompt and friendly. I’d say it’s a winner! Give it a go.

the service staffs were very nice and helpful. Food was just okay, I thought it's at the salty-end. My strawberry lemonade was toooooo sweet.

Nice wine selection foods always great use to order and pay first now sit down have server to take care us we’re enjoy lunch or dinner anytime we be there after shopping thank for Nordstrom to have nice restaurant for us never disappoints

This is a nice place to go to when you're taking a break from shopping. A nice little place hidden from all the hustle and bustle of the mall. They offer pastries and light meal (soup and salad). Don't look for heavy meals.

I always seek out a Nordstrom's Cafe when I'm traveling as it gives me an excuse to shop or at least walk around and find a nice place to eat without the Food Court Atmosphere. There is only one NC I won't return to; this one I definitely I will. Located at the Westfield (Southcenter Mall) between Seattle and the Sea-Tac Airport, this very large mall has a lot going on. The Nordy Cafe is typical in that you select from a menu before you sit down. Once seated, a server brings your drink and silverware, and shortly after your food. The list of food was hard to choose from as it all sounded good, and the pastries in the display case up front looked heavenly, but I didn't indulge. Service was excellent. This was a larger N-cafe than I've been in before, with nice decor. Typical food items include specialty sandwiches, salads and pastas. My sandwich, salad and glass of Cabernet was delicious, and I brought the other half of my sandwich home for later. You get the little chocolate mint stick at the end. I could've eaten more inexpensively elsewhere, but I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere!

My wife, who loves to shop at Nordys, always chooses to dine at the Nordy's Cafe and I have enjoyed many meals with ger at the Nordy's Cafe in Seattle. My favorite meal is the pear salad. She goes for the salmon and vegetables, Service is always outstanding,

Food and prices are consistant with other Nordstrom Cafe's. The restaurant was crowded and the resturant service attentive and prompt. Counter staff will rush you to decide, pay and get to your seat.
Yummy Breakfast
We dropped in for breakfast. The selections were limited but decided to try the Crème Brule French Toast. It was fabulous and did not disappoint. The portion was so generous it was easily shared with plenty for two people.
