We stopped here for a quick breakfast with a party of 11 from our hotel, while waiting to board a cruise. Saturday morning at 9 o’clock. Even though it was busy, we did not need to wait for a table. Service was quick and steady. Food was excellent! Breakfast wrap with potato sticks was the best. Highly recommend!

This was an excellent spot for breakfast, lunch or brunch. Our cook/server was Daniel and he was excellent. The food was very good. I ate everything. I had the steak and eggs with a side of bacon. The food was cooked perfect. I absolutely need the recipe for the potatoes because they were so good you didn’t need ketchup. When I come back to Miami I’ll be sure to be back.

Came for a Cuban coffee.. was recommended by the hotel.. so slow and the girl who made the coffee seemed lost and it took her a very long time, this I can give a pass too but the guy taking the orders are very mean and had a horrible attitude.

Poor service. Bad attitude towards customers. Literally one staff started grabbing my order already served on my table questioning because a mistake they made on another table. Not even presenting themselves as staff, just grabbing and picking up my food already serve. Verbally abusive during the breakfast. They ask for receipts and they don’t give one. Really the worst experience I have ever encountered in a breakfast.

I am super super picky about my tuna fish and this place had excellent TUNA! So glad I found this cute spot. Parking is also right next door in the garage. Easy and quick and delicious. I will be back soon!

This is one of my favorite places to go on a Sunday for breakfast or brunch. The food is fantastic and very well priced. The tacos , quesadillas and tuna salad are awesome ! Cafe Papillon is a gem at downtown always worth visiting.

Food is good but there is no AC You would not expect a food and beverage place to be like this in Miami! Not good at all. I can assure you will come to sweet your soul over here!!!

The bread was very hard, the has brown potatoes were almost raw, my cousin said ' it looked like chicken nuggets. I ate a slice of bacon. Made a sandwich with 2 hard pieces of bread, not even a inch in size , 1 egg out of 4. And asked 4 a refund! She told me nothing, as if, I was trying to eat 4free. She told me no bc I touched the food! I had to call the police! I had to eat the food 2 know it was undercooked, I raised so much hell, the man in the back had 2 come pay me 8 dollars out of the 20 dollars I spent. With no drinks..She still was telling him no! And tried 2 stop him. She was rude and had no sympathy 4 customers.. If u don't approve of your order, the ppl normally make it right, or just refund u. She suggested no alternatives. Just no Refund, that's why u pay first. The 6 ppl at the table, barely touched thier food. I have videos, that should be a warning..If u get hit with the bread u will be hospitalized.

What to say ...It’s the perfect place to have mimosas on Sunday at the cheaper price with fresh orange juice, or a cup of coffee sitting outside while chatting with friends. The menu varies from salmon eggs Benedict to a picanha steak with potatoes. The food is awesome , with a better taste than other places in the area , and the employees are very nice and friendly. The prices are so modest that it would make sense to have one of their omelets for breakfast, and then come back for a late lunch sandwich. This small place has so much to offer !! It honestly exceeded my expectations!

Stopped for lunch on our way to Bayfront market. Being from Philly and loving Cuban sandwiches, it caught our attention. It was delicious. The staff were friendly. Service was prompt. It was a great find. Would return if we were in the area.

Found this little gem on a whim. And I’m grateful I did. My dad, daughter (6), an I came in and was greeted with amazing and welcoming customer service. The food was amazing, and for a picky 6yr old she enjoyed it. We got the French toast, black bean’s chilaquiles, and omelet. The seasoning was not overpowering it was just right and the presentation was amazing!!! The orange juice is freshly squeezed. And the ambiance is fabulously chic! Will be returning again when I come down!

I ordered sandwiches and a drink, when asked how I would pay, I said it would be in cash: Total $24.30, however I noticed that the cashier when taking the money, erased the drink item from the cashier screen and gave me the change. I realized what was happening and requested the tax coupon. The attendant was very uncomfortable, took a while and printed my receipt, but guess what: without the drink. Then he started explaining that it hadn’t appeared on the receipt… I will address this assessment to the owner of the establishment, as this type of attitude must be frequent.

Right around the corner from our hotel, the Cafe Papillon provided so many options to choose from for Breakfast. I chose the Magda’s combo breakfast with eggs over medium. The eggs were not too oily or buttery or salty. The bacon was also not very salty or greasy. The French toast was the perfect way to end the meal on a sweeter note. Coffee was great, as was the cappuccino.

I really like how they treated us as we are from the uk and the food was very nice. Worth the money and on top of that I love the mimosas. Was my first time having them Overall good vibes would come here again

This place has delicious food. We enjoyed mimosas (the best ones I have had in a while) and the food was cooked as I ordered and it tasted sooo good. We were traveling and in a rush but we had such great service that we decided to stay for longer than we had anticipated because we were really enjoying those mimosas! I highly recommend this place. The requests took a long time. Too much for a simple breakfast. The coffee was brought before and it got cold. After much complaint they brought the food, and simply dropped one of the two omelettes on the table. We won't come again. And we do not recommend to anyone!

I rarely find myself in the need to review places I go, but the place really deserves it. A spectacular, very cozy place with a well-thought-out menu and outstanding service. Everything we ordered was exquisite and with an excellent presentation but the dessert really was something more than the imagination, a Croissant Waffle. It is a Waffle made of croissant dough and with the flavor you pick on top. Sweet, salty or both… truly out of this world. We will definitely return. Congratulations

I definitely adored this place! The food was amazing and prices were very affordable. The service was great, friendly staff that make you feel at home. I had brunch with friends after taking a walk and it was definitely a lovely way to finish our morning. Excellent atmosphere with beautiful decoration and great choice of music to complement an ample variety of delicious plates!! I recommend the Dulce de Leche Croissant waffle 😄

Cafe Papillon is a true gem! During my visit in March 2025, I was delighted by their incredible French toast. Perfectly crisp on the outside and deliciously soft inside, it was a dreamy breakfast treat. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made the experience even better. Without words, the best coffee I have ever visited in Miami, I left my cruise under a hell of a downpour and took refuge in this cafe with my family and decided to eat something as we had to continue on our way to the airport back to Madrid, which was my surprise, find in Miami a Spanish style cafe, but actually much better, better served, excellent quality, the unbeatable care, we were attended by José and a girl named Maia, better impossible, I have closed with a golden clasp my vacation to Miami...

We found this place by chance. The food was excellent and the service was ever better. I had the better French toast in my life! Everything is made at the moment, so it was fresh. The prices are very reasonable. They serve breakfast all day long. We recommend it and will definitely come back!

The breakfast was fantastic! I had a smoked salmon eggs benedict it was very good the salmon was a little salty and I had a mocha frapillion and that was worth every penny!

The place is incredible I loved the smell the space the attention the breakfast table the coffee, the tranquility and the decoration are great just fascinating.

Although the interior looks nice, the service certainly isn't. We spent almost $100 on extremely small portions, poorly/undercooked food, and terrible customer service. The employees were giving us attitude, taking forever to grab silverware from the counter, and charged us an apparent "butter fee" that we had to put on ourselves. The food was below mediocre and I wouldn't come back if you offered me a hundred bucks.

Delicious Breakfast! Staying at a nearby hotel, we were reccomended Cafe Papillion and it was a great find. Laid back atmosphere, really kind staff and great food! Breakfast was great, fast and hit the spot(papillion omlet sandwich) will go again tomorrow before heading out of town! Highly reccomended for breakfast, Brunch and lunch location!

This is just a place to get a great breakfast or lunch without having to go to the rather overpriced food outlets at the Bayside Marketplace just across the road. Highly recommend the Papillon Avocado Toast. We were only in Miami for three days and we had breakfast here twice!

Before boarding for our cruise, we wanted one last meal on land. You can’t go wrong with Cafe Papillon for whatever reason you’re in Miami’s downtown/bayfront district. The atmosphere was great, and the food was fresh. We would definitely come back when in Miami.

Visited Sunday morning 2 adults 3 children 4 of us had the breakfast with French toast eggs 2 slices of baguette and breakfast potatoes plus one ham and cheese omelette. We also had coffee and cold drinks. Coffee good, service friendly, not too long to wait for food. Food wasn’t piping hot and also unusually for the USA wasn’t a massive portion 2 standard loaf sized triangles of French toast. Breakfast potatoes were hard 3 out of 4 of us left those. French toast and eggs and omelette were nicely done. Small inside not enough room to take the queue of people wanting breakfast and only 4 inside tables. Mainly tables for 2 outside. Filled our first morning hole was a convenient location and wasn’t usual Miami prices.

I have mixed reviews some things were good others not. I ordered the Magda’s combo with one sausage and one bacon. It comes with one slice of French toast cut in half (advertised as 2) The combo was good don’t expect to be stuffed. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito wrap it was alright. The hash brown tasted like it was refried in last nights oil. My brother order the salmon wrap and that was okay.

Fantastic service here in this well run cafe. We were looking to kill some time while waiting on our flight back to Ireland so we decided to return to this cafe for some food after stopping by for some coffees the previous day. The girls behind the counter were very courteous taking our orders and very prompt with serving myself and my wife. The music in the cafe was excellent and really provided a great atmosphere. 10/10 place would definitely recommend this to any traveller to Miami. Will be back again on our next visit to Florida!

Terrible experience. Took an hour to get our food and it was a plain breakfast meal. It wasn't busy but simply no hustle from the kitchen. Think we saw 3 meals come out of there the whole hour we were waiting. I spoke to the owner and asked what was taking so long and he was very dismissive. There was no check-in once or apology for the wait once the food finally came. The main reason I usually come here is because of the convenience since it is so close but when the convenience is no longer there, I don't have a reason to come anymore. Would much rather spend my money elsewhere.

If you are one of those people who love to sleep late and have a great breakfast after noom, this is definitely your place to eat. It's an amazing location right in front of the Bayside area , close to the Miami Heat Arena. The prices are great , food is out of this world , and a lot of different plates to choose .I'll recommend the steak and eggs . Is a pichana with 3 eggs your choice , baguette, and house potatoes , waffles , fresh squeeze orange juice , mimosas , cold and hot coffes , teas , and the sandwiches, you can also have tacos and burritos , the staff is super friendly, I really had a great time .

We went to grab breakfast since the concierges at our hotel said it was a great cafe. Small space but one two tables were taken and on was finishing up. We ordered at the counter and sat down to wait for our breakfast to be brought out. After 35 minutes the order line was out the door, and all six tables were taken. My friend got her ham and cheese omelet (except it was a denver omelet) I got my pastry, but not my breakfast burrito. We gave up, being out of time and not finding staff to help.

This cafe is worth stopping by. I really have to have strong feelings about a place to review it and I wish platforms would allow for half stars because this place deserves more than 4/5. I came here on a family vacation for celebrate my brother’s graduation. We were looking for a place close to our airb&b. The plates that were coming out looked good so we decided to have brunch. The reason why it was brunch was because my sister and I were watching the coronation. Brunch was it. Daniel was fantastic. Thank you I so much for making our experience memorable. We stayed at the Holiday Inn next door. We waited in their restaurant for breakfast for 25 minutes and nobody came to our table to start serving us. We left and walked down the street to find Cafe Papillon. We walked in where we were greeted with pleasant smiles and were offered menus and were told how to order. Quaint small cafe with great vibes, kind friendly staff and amazing food! Thank you!

A perfect place to visit after a stroll along the Bayside, the quality of excellent food (Magda’s breakfast very delicious), the “very natural” orange juice, excellent, and what to say about the mimosas, very good and strong (you have to eat well before taking them), the treatment of the shop assistants very professional and friendly, the clean and cozy place with a decoration that mixes the modern and the old, and also enjoy very much the music.

If I'm around downtown Miami, this is my go-to place! Café Papillon is perfect for meeting with friends and family, with its cozy atmosphere and charming décor. Easy in/out. Good basic breakfast for exceptional price. Highly recommend for a place close to the docks for cruisers. The coffee is hot hot hot, strong and delicious.

Pulled out Google and came to this very quaint cute breakfast restaurant or coffee bar. Reasonably priced delicious food. I recommend coming here for breakfast. We shared the #74 and added two extra eggs. It was wonderful!

I am not one to go on social media to leave a bad review but my experience here was nothing short of horrendous. I just came off of a flight and was excited to sit down at a nice breakfast spot in between my time for my cruise and from the start was given attitude. One of the coffees I had ordered was made incorrectly and asked for it nicely to be corrected and was given attitude, co workers talking in a different language negatively about us, hand gestures directed to us. That was unfortunately just the start as we patiently waited for our food we saw 3 couples order food after us and receive their food in a timely matter. As I go up asking what’s going on after I had waited an hour from when I ordered, they acted clueless and then proceed to say that it must’ve been a mix up of the receipt in the kitchen. I was at a loss of words and to make it even worse instead of them being apologetic for my experience they were bickering back at me and didn’t issue a full refund of all of my menu items… would never come back here with how I was treated and would certainty not recommend it.

Small cute cafe with seating both inside and outside. I had the eggs benedict. Theceggs were just right and it was very tasty. My husband enjoyed the Pappilion special omlett. We had large mimosas and a nice experience.

Excelent place for brunch. Near to Bayside Place. Food is excelent with many options. Price is in range for the area. Emoloyees are nice.

Horrible place! Service takes forever. The man in the front was on his phone the entire time while there was a long wait line he was on his personal phone. Horrible service

Everything was different and better. I had a simple bacon eggs with cheese and home style potatoes. It was off the charts good. Like a 12 on a scale to 10. The orange juice was freshly squeezed from the best tasting oranges. Cuban coffee was just better than most any coffee I've ever had.

Popped in for breakfast before heading to the cruise terminal. Absolutely delicious food. Between us we had the Papillon breakfast wrap and 2 Papillon’s speciality omelettes. All were great. The wrap in particular was fab and huge. Would highly recommend.

Best Breakfast ever! We (me and my two sons) came here three days in a row ( we stayed in Miami for three days so everyday) because its Just so good. A Tiny flaw could maybe be that Theres a Little wait time but thats Not half Bad because the food is all prepared and cooked fresh. Try it if youre in Miami!

Amazing! Best food I’ve ever had. The fresh squeezed orange juice was out of this world. Croissants were perfectly made. Staff was friendly & seemed happy to be there. Everything was fresh & flavorful. I will be back! Maybe later today :) Job well done!

Café Papillon Downtown is a true gem! I ordered the ham and cheese croissant with natural egg, and it was simply perfect — light, buttery, and full of flavor. The quality and freshness made it stand out, and the cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. A place I would gladly return to!

We went 2 days in a row for breakfast, because it also opens early. Huge variety to choose from. The avocado toast (No. 47) is very delicious. The coffee very well made. And the treatment is very friendly. We will repeat when we return.

Very European feeling restaurant / cafe with some tables out front. The steak sandwich is to die for - I had to go back and get a second one a few days later. The whole family enjoyed the food, which was varied and offered options for everyone

Service was very, very slow. Felt ignored. When my coffee finally arrived my cup had lipstick on it. The food was very good. Would probably not recommend due to bad service.

Breakfast was superb. BUT don't be in a hurry. Only 3 out of 5 because of this. Give yourself plenty of time to wait plus eat. Not many tables and they get taken quickly.

This restaurant was a just what I needed. While waiting for a port tour we stopped her for a late brunch. The prices were very attractive compared to the rest of Miami. We entered the restaurant and was hit with the aroma of fresh eggs. The menu was reasonably priced and all the food we ordered was good. The hostess allowed us to try some cuban coffee for free since we had not tasted it before. All in all I would suggest this place if you are going on a tour at the pier.

Very, very,very long time to be served. And they bring the drink early and the food... we are still waiting for it.... 35 minutes after the orange juice and coffee . To be honest the orange juice was not so bad

Early breakfast! For some reason, I had a hard time finding anywhere to eat in Miami before 8am. This place is verifiably open and is a solid place for coffee and breakfast. Very sweetly decorated. Great service. Probably the best eggs I've had in a while.

This our go-to spot every weekend for our brunch in a great ambiance and friendly service. Food is delicious and a variety of options. Located in the heart of Downtown with view to Bayside, while seated on the tables outside the Cafe Papillon enjoying a mimosa! I also recommend the caramel frappe Papillon 100% recommended! 👌

All around great food and service. Food had very nice presentation and tasted really good. Definitely going back soon to taste more of the options in their menu.

Found this gem close to the cruise ports on a Sunday morning. The inside is small but there is ample outdoor seating. I enjoyed the special of Serrano ham, 3 fried eggs, and roasted potatoes. Very reasonable prices. This is an order at the counter and retrieve your food there, but the staff was friendly and efficient. Offered FRESHLY squeezed orange juice as well.
