Great and tasty food! I was really impressed with the selection and everything was both vegetarian and vegan friendly. I had the buffalo fake chicken drumsticks and they're the closest thing I've had to real chicken (as I remember it tasting). Great food and the cakes were to die for. Going to make this restaurant a regular visit for special occasions :)

Great food, great prices, great service. Just about perfect. Each one of us tried a different dish and each one was genuinely wonderful.

How wonderful to be able to pick anything on the menu - and not ask about stocks in soups and sauces! Great choices, delicious food - creative items. We all loved our meals - dumplings, "scallop" appetizer. Caesar salad was a good entree size and had awesome "anchovies" - "chicken" strips not as good. Seitan entree was fantastic as was the special cauliflower Marsala. Nice wine choices and my son was happy to see a local brewery [can] of beer option - it was great! Very fruity yet dry - forgot the name but apparently it is often in short supply. Server had a nice personality and was fairly attentive. Had to remind him to bring a few items and my son's salad came out several minutes after our hot entrees for some reason. Prices a bit on the high side but that is often the case for high end Vegan. We were too full for dessert but they looked very good. Wish they had a restaurant in Orlando!

I am not vegetarian , first time was impressed with the imitation meat plates they have like chicken or burger, until now have tried almost everything on the menu, have not been disappointed yet, Food: very good presentation , good taste, Ambiance: modern, little dark, clean Service : servers, do the extra mile, for you, except last time , guess they were overworked, and still squished me in on a busy night almost at closing Definitely will keep coming back

This is scene of one of the best meals ever. I know that you 're sitting here, reading this and thinking "What an exaggeration!". Let me explain... Now, the hostess was standard with her -- I'm not wanting to be here on a Saturday morning but it's a paycheck. I'll merely exude my disinterest... The waitress - I wish I remembered her name - was amazing. She was sweet, knowledgeable and very helpful. (Did I mention that the vegetarian in our group is 2 years old?) As for food: I had the curry bowl special; my husband had the sesame chicken; my mom ate the crispy Brussels sprouts, my niece had the fiesta burrito and my daughter (the 2 year old) had the pasta with veggies. Our top picks -- the crispy Brussels sprouts and sesame chicken. The flavors were amazingly wonderful! Yes -- we ordered dessert. Let me tell you, we were all surprised at how good these desserts tasted. I was expecting a weird film or icky aftertaste as is a commonality of vegan desserts. This NEVER occurred. The next time we're in Atlanta, this is where we'll be eating the majority of our meals.

The restaurant is advertised as vegetarian however they have become 100% vegan - they should update their online information to take advantage of this change. The decor is well done, comforting, and welcoming. The menu is large and varied with wonderful choices. Our selections were absolutely delicious. Our young Ukrainian waiter was warm, friendly, outgoing and very helpful. We are only sorry that we live so far away and won't be able to frequent Cafe Sunflower again.

Coworker surprised me by taking me here for lunch during my first visit to Atlanta! Now we go at least once each time I visit. Excellent menu and execution and presentation.

My boyfriend and I ate here when we came in town for Fright Fest at Six Flags and we were blown away! I am vegan and was so excited to have such wide open choices. My boyfriend is not vegan and this restaurant has become one of his top favorites. We recently came to Atlanta to celebrate some accomplishments and of course eat at Cafe Sunflower. We were not disappointed! Once again we encountered amazing food, atmosphere and staff. We can't wait to find another excuse to go to Atlanta!

I don't even know where to begin with Cafe Sunflower, it is all outstanding. I am pretty sure that I went there three times in one week. Whether you are there for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, the menu is extensive with fresh ingredients. If you have a hard time deciding between what to choose, hop on their instagram to see what catches your eye. The service was great and they have teamed up with a local vegan bakery for your pastry and dessert needs.

Extensive vegan menu allowed this vegan family feel like we could really enjoy a dinner out while visiting a new city. Great choices and amazing desserts

Just go. Eat. Be Healthy. Husband and I shared the portobello sliders with vegan ranch dressing and bbq seitan...crazy good. I had the cauliflower steak marsala with brussels and mushrooms. He had the seitan marsala, also amazing flavors over a cauli/potato mash. The desserts are huge, but we didn't partake. Service was excellent and I would describe the environment as upscale casual. You can't go wrong, and it doesn't matter if you're a meat eater or a veg. You'll enjoy it. Leigh, our server is outstanding.

Well worth the trip from downtown to the Sunflower Buckhead for vegetarian cuisine. The menu has many appetizing selections that could even make a carnivor happy and satisfied. Our dinner choices were portabello mushrooms, florentine , harvest salad and baked stuffed acorn squash. All requests and adjustments such as no cheese or croutons were made. Our server was very helpful in his descriptions of preparations and especially in making a wine selection that we really enjoyed.

As a vegetarian, I'm used to having one or two choices when I eat out - so how great was it to have a full menu of choices! The restaurant had great ambiance and the food was amazing. I'm only sorry I only had one chance to eat here during my visit. My husband and I are both vegetarians and loved it. I had the garden loaf and he had the sesame chicken - both were fantastic. With beer, wine and drinks, this place would be good for date night or a casual meal. Not cheap, but very worth it. Would definitely recommend and go again.

I came to this location for dinner and I am so glad that I did! The food was absolutely to die for. The spinach dip was so good and the loaf with the mashed potatoes was even better. The customer service was great and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. To finish dinner off we ordered the red velvet cake...absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend that you make a reservation as this Café Sunflower location is VERY busy.

We loved Sunflower! My cousins planned a birthday party gathering for my aunt 80th birthday who is a vegetarian. We were a party of ten; we went during brunch and everything from the beginning to the end, everything was amazing. The food came out perfectly for everyone in our party, including those meat eaters who were Leary; menu went there for a Sunday Brunch. Sunflower is a vegan restaurant that serves wonderful tasting food that was delicious and elegantly served by friendly staff. The menu was very original with a good variety that pleased omnivores, vegetarians and vegans in our party of ten. The meat lovers in the party were very surprised that they enjoyed the food.

First of all, I am NOT a vegetarian, although my wife is. Nonetheless we both thought the Cafe Sunflower to be a wonderful dining experience. To start, the ambience is great. It is casual, as one might expect, but the furniture, walls and ceilings, lighting and overall appearance is extremely inviting. Next, the service is friendly, informative, well paced and professional. Then, the food is imaginative, well prepared and delicious. I had ravioli, which of course was cheese and tofu filled, with a great sauce and lots of mushrooms and veggies. My wide had an eggplant lasagna which she loved. We started by splitting an egg roll appetizer, which was slightly different from a Chinese restaurant, and very tasty.Desserts were brought on a tray for selection, and I was forceably restrained from ordering all six. I settled on a raspberry mousse cake which was wonderful. The total tab, including a glass of wine and tip was about $70.00. The restaurant is located on the main Peachtree Road in the south Buckhead area and was easily reached by bus. It is in a small shopping center, which also contains a Houstons's Restaurant. We urge you to visit the Cafe Sunflower for a delightful dining experience.

Great little place for a nice healthy lunch. We stopped in and had a very nice time. Staff was very friendly and the food was awesome. Nice to have a healthy alternative available. Coming from North Georgia we don't have anything like this available.

The food here is AMAZING! My wife is a vegetarian, I am partly by association. Cafe a Sunflower could make me want to be a vegitarian. The food is amazing, generous portions, and great staff! Wish they had one near my home!

Visited Cafe Sunflower with my boyfriend last Thursday. The Asian hostess definitely was rudely surprised to hear us say that we had a 12:30 reservation, we assumed it’s because we were underdressed, wearing jogging suits. My boyfriend felt the need to apologize to her due to this, so he did and asked her to excuse how we were dressed. Our server was pleasant enough and the food was exceptional, we tried 5 different menu items, lentil soup was good and the brussel sprout appetizer and spring rolls were delicious, my boyfriend loved his entree, the quinoa stir fry! I wished I would have ordered it also, so good. He’s definitely carnivorous to my vegan diet and he was really blown away by how good the food was, which thrilled me that he was so satisfied from a plant based meal. I had the Thai green curry bowl, the flavor was very good. If service would have been a 10, as it should be anytime I step into a business and choose to spend my money with them, Cafe Sunflower would have been 6 Stars out of 5. It’s 2018 business owners, service is just as important as the product you’re selling, if not MORE important.

I loved my vegan blueberry waffles! So yummy! My friend had the ‘chicken’ and waffles and it was great too! My hubby got the burrito which was ok/good but not great. We got the chocolate cake to share and that was amazing!!! Highly Recommend the vegan desserts here!! Even if you’re not vegan, you will enjoy the food here.

Two couples were visiting ATL from the west coast. I found Cafe Sunflower on TripAdvisor and suggested it to the group. On man was hesitant - a real meat fan, but he said he'd give it a try. Throughout the evening he kept saying how good everything was & that he was so surprised. We shared a number of appetizers and entrees, so that we could sample many dishes. What a wonderful experience!

This is my favorite restaurant in Atlanta. We have tried lots of the options on the menu, as we have been many times over the last few years. The avocado tacos are amazing, and the dessert tray is a must do!!!! The service is always perfection, and the atmosphere is wonderful.

We are a newly vegan family that selected this place to celebrate our daughter's 13th birthday. Everyone in the family enjoyed the evening made memorable by the staff of Café Sunflower. Very deserving of the Best of Atlanta vote (ranked #13). If looking only at vegetarian/vegan restaurants, pretty sure it would be in the Top 3, if not the #1. - Great Ambience: can take in quite the crowd, yet feel special and cozy - Great Service: very attentive and detail orientated, understanding of dietary preferences - Great Menu: not just Asian but a wide range of cuisines - Great Food: scrumptiously food, well set in appetizing way - Pricing is on the high side, but hey, it was a special occasion. I would still select this place for special evenings with family, friends, and colleagues.

I am usually used to having two or three options as a vegetarian in the US. I've been curious to try out this place because it was close to where I stayed during my trip in Atlanta and i was overwhelmed by the options! We went for dinner and although the food wasnt too expensive (12 Dollars for the classic burger, served with salad and sweat potato fries) the atmosphere was very chic! I could defenitely take non-vegetarians here without them noticing :)

Just drove away from this restaurant. My boyfriend and I thought it was excellent. The services from Brieanna was great, not too much in the way but always around when we needed her, and she gave good food choices recommendations. The food came out quick, fresh and hot. Based on another review we tried the Fried Avocado Tacos, they are amazing and I could have ordered several plates of these and eaten them until I was stuffed. My main dish I ordered the Eggplant Lasagna, I have not had eggplant in the past that I like but this dish was good. The marinara sauce made the whole dish. My meat loving boyfriend had the Sesame Chicken and it was terrific. Perfect flavor and seasoning. If I make it back to Atlanta I will be try to eat here again.

Love the food here & have been dinning here for years ! You can defentily trust you are getting a great Vege meal at this spot ! I always tell friends that are in from out of town to eat here !

Visited this Vegan restaurant first time with family Enjoyed the good and courteous service Recommend this restaurant for all who like Vegan or Vegetarian food !

I dined there with my parents today for the first time and my oh my... it was delicious!!! we had the fried avocado tacos and the spring rolls as our starter and it was AMAZING it was just perfect... best spring rolls I've tried. However, the portion was tiny I wish there were more than the three (3) tiny tacos and the two (2) spring rolls split in two (2). I had the Sesame Chicken, my parents had the Quinoa Avocado burrito and it was delicious. However, my Sesame Chicken platter had too much sauce for my liking, if it had less it would have been just perfection! :) The hostess and waiter were very courteous and kind. One of the best restaurant customer service we have received. I wish the restaurant could stay open until the evenings. We arrived around 2:00pm today Thursday and the host tells us they can only order To Go because they are closing the sitting area. However, another lady showed up and the host was kind enough to work something out and allow us to eat at the restaurant. I was surprised how kind the waitress was with us because In my experience when it is the end of the shift they tend to be very cranky and transmit that to the customers however, this was not the case. She was very kind and patient with us. Finally, The restaurant's deco is very beautiful, it has a great ambiance, the deco seems to be rustic/chic/modern I loved it. Very cozy. Definitely recommend all vegans/vegetarians to try this restaurant out. Hands down one of the best. And there are a lot of organic options too.

As vegetarians ourselves it is always nice to see that there is a vegetarian restaurant near where we are staying. So we walked to Cafe Sunflower to sample their food. It was a great restaurant with a good range of vegan / vegetarian food on offer. The food was very good, I had the ravioli which could not be faulted. Very expensive food though, which is probably what stopped me giving this restaurant 5 stars.

This restaurant offers a wide variety of vegetarian/vegan dishes. We ordered the eggplant lasagna and the padthai. Generous portions. Both were very good. I wouldn't put them in the excellent category but they were quite good and I would go back again. Service was good. The waiter came by several times to ask if everything was ok. Desserts looked and sounded scrumptious but we were too full from our dishes to get any.

It's true you can have a nice meal here even if you aren't vegetarian or vegan. I went for Sunday brunch with my vegetarian daughter who loved everything about it. I would like to try it again when the full menu is available but I still enjoyed the brunch as well. I had the "chicken" biscuit and the seitan chicken was surprisingly good with a crunchy coating. I absolutely loved, loved, loved the strawberry jalapeno jam. The atmosphere was nice

I recently had dinner with a dear friend and he suggested that we eat at Cafe Sunflower. I have driven past this establishment many times but had never ventured inside. When I did I was greeted by a very pleasant and laid back staff. I met my friend who was already seated. He is an experienced visitor to Cafe Sunflower so once I reviewed the menu I deferred to his judgement. He has gone meat and gluten free and has lost ten pounds in recent weeks. We started with the beet gazpacho which was pureed and smooth to the palate. It tasted nothing like traditional gazpacho but it was delicious and went well with the cold beer I had ordered. We shared an eggplant dish and it was delicious. Once we finished the meal we shared a lemon cheesecake that was light and delicious. Overall I enjoyed my experience at this vegetarian (vegan) restaurant and was quite satisfied with the experience. In fact, I am meeting my friend again this week for another vegetarian dinner. This establishment is a nice change from the glitzy Buckhead restaurants and is a refreshing place to try something new.

This is a vegan restaurant. I’m not vegan and I still enjoyed it. We went for Sunday brunch. The seitan was a vegan version of “fried chicken”. It was crunchy but tasteless. The waffles and the blueberry pancakes were excellent. The service was good and excellent— friendly and attentive but not intrusive.

I cannot tell you how many times I have visited the Sunflower Cafe. It is my go-to when I want to treat myself, and the place I take any of my friends when they are in town. The food is upscale vegan and the price is amazing for the ambiance and food quality. Sunflower Cafe is a must for anyone who desires to experience vegan food at its finest.

My New Year resolution is to eat healthier. Thus, I was very excited to visit an upscale vegetarian restaurant. If we had more eateries of such qualitiy, most of the world would forgo meat. The restaurant is located in a small plaza of Peachtree road. Houston’s next door has a very busy traffic. We had trouble finding parking on Friday night and ended up leaving the car of Bennette St. We made reservations over the phone and were seated promptly at 8 pm. The atmosphere is relaxed but upscale. Level noise was low, great for a long conversation. The service was very attentive and prompt. We ordered some moderately priced red wines. For starters, we ordered spring rolls and grilled eggplants. For main course, warm quinoa plate and baked stuffed squash. Everything was delicious! Portions were very generous. We liked our dinner so much that we returned the following night. By 9 pm, the parking lot was almost empty. I had steamed dumplings and quinoa plate (liked it that much.) Yet another wonderful meal. On the way out, we bought a recipe book written by the restaurant owner. In short, if you looking for a healthy, vegetarian, moderately priced, upscale meal with good wine give Café Sunflower a try. You will not be disappointed.

My co worker and I were talking about lunch and originally was gonna go to chipotle BUT she told me about this cute little place! The set up is a little odd as far as the decorations go but the food is so good! Who would've known you can actually eat vegan and still get good fulfilling food! The fried avocado tacos for an app followed by the steamed dumplings were a hit! Entrees we ordered the portobello mushroom melt & spicy pad Thai! Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection I will lost definitely return over and over! Excellent choice for vegans!!

Love the variety - made it difficult to choose. We got the spring rolls (GREAT dipping sauce!), enchiladas (ok, not amazing), fettuccini bolognese which was a special/not on the regular menu (pretty good!), and the raspberry chocolate torte with a chocolate cake base (good and rich, but mostly just tasted chocolate). A little out of the way and kinda pricy, but I would definitely eat here again, especially given all the many options. Good drink menu, too. Service was great. We made those selections based on our server's recommendations.

I went here for Sunday brunch with a group of people, They had our area ready for us when we arrived and the service was fast and responsive. The menu had a lot of good brunch options, but I knew I wanted chicken and waffles. When I go to non vegan places for brunch, everyone orders chicken and waffles. I was so excited to finally be able to partake. They were delicious. Just the right amount of natural maple sugar, vegan whipped cream and of course seitan chicken.

I always enjoy my meals at Cafe Sunflower- I was looking forward to trying their new veggie loaf. I was very disappointed. I thought that it was made from veggies but discovered it was that product "beyond" and I'm not sure what was in the ingredients. But, I could not eat it.

We ordered the ravioli and the pad Thai. Both were very tasty. The menu said pad Thai had peanuts, but I had to ask for them. Typically the dish has cilantro, but I had to ask for that too.The portion was huge and enough for another meal. We saved room for dessert and were impressed with the selection. We chose the German chocolate cake and were not disappointed. We will go back!

There weren’t tons of menu options, but more than enough for vegans and anyone interested in a vegan meal. The meals are well seasoned and thoughtfully arranged. Their beverage options were also tasty. I’d definitely return.

We live nearby and pick up quite often Consistently good and versatile We really love the veggies. Main courses are always an adventure in culinary delight

Had butternut squash soup and, if I'm remembering correctly (was recommended), sesame "chicken." Food was delicious and service was friendly and fast. A bit of a drive from downtown but worth the trip.

If you are looking for a very nice vegetarian restaurant with beautiful food and tasty dishes, Cafe Sunflower is the place for you. The serving are small and the price pretty high. It's a good place for special occasions or when you want something different. I couldn't give this place five stars because the service was a little slow and the pricy menu. Presentation and taste are definitely five stars.

We were shopping nearby and decided to eat at this restaurant based on great reviews on TripAdvisor. We weren't disappointed. Inside the cafe is very appealing and the food matched the atmosphere. I had the breakfast burrito, which has everything, tofu scramble and sausage strips, beans, avocado ... it came with sweet potato chips which were great. My wife had the tofu benedict, which she enjoyed. Although we were really full, we ordered dessert -- the chocolate ganache and the gelato. It made for a filling but relaxing brunch!

Having been a vegan all of 2.5 months I am always curious about the vegan options as I travel. Cafe Sunflower if the tastiest, most "normal" restaurant I've found. I brought 2 meat lovers and both want the recipes and to come back. Had to try a lot and definitely over ate, but totally worth it. The nachos are as good as any I've ever eaten, full agreement from the meat lovers. The soups are worth a taste, tomato lentil and mushroom soups are outstanding. I lived my "chicken" enchiladas, but I need the recipe for the lasagna. The best lasagna EVER! I can't wait to return to Atlanta to try something different on the menu. Twice in 3 nights and I had to share the best so far. You will not be disappointed.

I never go to Atlanta without having at least one or two meals at Sunflower. ! Great service and food that can not be compared to any other veggie restraint !

My family and I visited this restaurant for Sunday brunch. We were not aware that they prefer reservations for groups of five or more, but they accommodated our group quickly without the reservation. The brunch menu was 100% vegan and included several options. Our food was great! In our group we had chicken and waffles or the chicken biscuit meals. The food was excellent. The food was delivered quickly. Service was nothing special, but was fine. They only downside was cost. Meals were between $12 and $16 and for our group of 5 that meant brunch was just under $100 with the tip.

We found this on Trip Advisor and had a few hours before we had to catch a flight, so made the side trip to find this restaurant. So glad we did! It is often difficult to find vegetarian restaurants that step outside of the box a bit. This restaurant does. We stopped in for lunch and ordered a couple of items to share. All of them good. One of the standouts was the mushroom ceviche - devine! Service was also very good. If you are vegetarian or vegan and find yourself in Atlanta, this is definitely worth a stop.

The entire experience was great from start to finish. A bit hard to find the place, but once we got there it was great. 7 of us ordered different things on the menu and tasted around. Everything was well prepared, well seasoned with its own character. Portions could easily be shared by two or three people. I don't think the carnivores would miss their meat for this meal.

being a veggie, the options are very limited. This restaurant was definitely a different feel all together. The food is delicious. The service was very good. Little pricey compared to routine veggie foods but definitely worth a try. I strongly recommend this if you are a veggie lover or a vegan.

This is a lovely small cafe on the north side of town. We eat a vegan diet and were delighted to learn that all their entrees are vegan. So many great choices! We wanted to go back later in the weekend but didn't have the chance. Pepper encrusted seitan , fried avocado tacos, and pot stickers were all excellent. Raw cashew cheesecake was to die for!! Very good wine and beer selection. Quiet intimate space.

If you are in Atlanta and in the mood for a little raw food with your white wine, this is the spot for you! If you are in the mood for a rich chocolate cake super without dairy, please make a stop at this spot. Their service is smooth and easy, waitstaff is classy and restaurant is clean. Vegan options are varied and the food is delish! I visit every single time I am in Atlanta. I make special trips solely for the purpose. Favorite foods: Sesame Ginger Chicken, Chocolate cake, Kale salad, Chocolate Peanut Butter Mousse Cake. One word: Yum.

Every time we are in Atlanta we make sure we stop by and eat at this restaurant. We love it so much we always take food to go. I can't say enough good things. If you are within 60 miles of this restaurant you need to stop by and have a bite to eat.

Tasty and creative dishes in an environment that is surprisingly enjoyable, considering it's hidden within strip-mall Americana. I only wish they had a location in the inman park / candler park area.

My husband and younger daughter took me out for my birthday to this vegetarian restaurant because they knew from experience that I'd be able to pick anything from the menu, and they'd still get a great meal (and not miss the meat). Right on all counts!

My boyfriend is a vegetarian and I'm not, so I try to find restaurants that will work for both of us in every city we visit. This place is so good and so worth it. You won't even miss the meat in your meal, everything is made so well. It's kind of hidden in a shopping center, but don't be put off by the exterior- the value is in the food. I highly recommend the Sesame chicken. If you like noodles in your spring rolls, you'll like theirs, but I don't, so I'd recommend the dumplings and the brussels sprouts. Prices are better at lunch time and it's only about two miles away from the High Museum.

Met a friend for lunch. The pea cake appetizer was excellent but I thought the burger was not very good. It was soy based and maybe I'm used to bean based but it was kinda mushy and bland. I asked for a side of kale sautéed lightly and it came way too oily for my taste. My guest had a kale, grain bowl and seemed to like it. Waiter was excellent. Unfortunately, the last time I was here I was underwhelmed as well so I won't rush back.

I ordered take away from the Cafe Sunflower and it was really tasty. I had the spicy pad thai noodles and they were awesome. Good flavor, lots of veggies and big portions I had two meals out of it. Also I waited for my food in the restaurant and it was very serene and seemed like a great place for a nice meal. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant after all the rave reviews. We are leaning toward a vegetarian lifestyle and wanted to try this place out. All I can say is the reviews are right! The food is delish! From the moment we walked in, the hostess and server were polite. We were seated promptly, even though she did ask if we had reservations. It was about 6pm on a Friday night. It was a bit of a hassle to find parking because its in a very crowded shopping centre next to Houstons off Peachtree Rd. Well, back to the food, for starters we had the steam dumplings and we split a salad (the Bah Mi salad with a spicy peanut dressing is a must try), I had the lasagna (incredibly good) and my hubby had the day's special orange beef with cous cous salad (perfection). It was all so good we had to try a dessert :) and besides they are dairy and egg free. I had the peanut butter chocolate pie and he had the chocolate cake. we couldnt tell the difference if we had not known better. The total bill with a bottle of water and a apple cider (beer) was $92 including grat. We were a bit surprised by the bill, it was a little high but we thought that the quality of the food and the taste was worth it. We did notice a couple large parties come in and were seated and taken in the back, they may have separate party rooms.I highly recommend. I would even take someone here who is not a vegetarian but enjoy good healthy prepared meals. Cheers!

It was my first time at Cafe Sunflower and it exceeded my expectations. The menu offers so many tasty options. I ordered the eggplant lasagna—excellent!

I have been doing a tour of some of the southern states and as a vegetarian this place was a great find. A lot of healthy options and many vegetarian meals on offer this was really welcome to me, as I was getting quite fed up with eating endless dishes of eggs and/or cheese and having to eat the one token vegetarian option on the menu in some other restaurants. This place had a lovely atmosphere and the food was creative, inspired and delicious. I would highly recommend it.

Cafe Sunflower was fabulous!! The food, wine, service, and decor put us in the most relaxing mood. We had the cauliflower steak special and garden loaf. Both delicious and refreshing. Our white wines complemented the meals wonderfully! Would definitely recommend and would go again!

Being vegetarian, it's difficult to find good vegetarian/vegan restaurants that are actually good. I love Cafe Sunflower! They always have a wide selection of items and everything on the menu is delicious. They are also willing to cater to additional dietary needs when you ask. Although they're a bit pricey, it's a great place to hang out with friends.

Only kind of iced tea they offered was flavored. Hostess was rude. Waitress was rude. Mushroom soup had good flavor, but gave me an upset stomach. Fried green tomatoes had zero flavor, just tasteless. Tomatoes were hard and barely cooked. Hummus was extremely bland. The worst vegan meal I have ever attempted to eat. Fettuccini sauce was grainy and the noodles overcooked. Will never return!

Cafe Sunflower has the best food- we had the spring rolls and fried dumplings. I appreciate that the dishes served are not trying to be anything but vegan. They are not other food substitutes they are intentionally designed as a great vegan dish.

Great place for healthy veggie and vegan food that satisfies your sense of adventure in a variety of exotic styles including curries & Chinese or just plain American. Have been many times, never disappointed.

Great choices, great service. The food was so good that are carnivores thought the "meatloaf" was the best they had ever had.

We arrived late for our reservation. Smiling staff seated us immediately. THere was a large party and our entrees were delayed. We did not mind we were having a good time. The waiter was worried that we were going to be upset and brought us a second round of drinks on the house. He continued to treat us like regulars even tho this was our first time and we were at a convention in town and probably would not be back in Atlanta in the near future

Calling all meat lovers, vegetarians, and vegans to the Cafe Sunflower table. Your mind will be blown at the vegan fare that is offered. Can you say Sesame (Soy) Chicken that tastes better than your favorite Chinese take out spot around the corner...YES. Can you say Scallops (Mushrooms) that have that sear and snap that any five star seafood restaurant boasts...again YES. Hands down, one of the most delicious restaurants in Georgia. The Chefs are truly magicians at transforming vegan ingredients into recognizable everyday menu items. So much flavor, So much YES!

My husband and I and our 3 young kids love this place!! Our favorite vegan restaurant. Love the spicy chicken, fajitas and brussel sprouts...my kids can't get enough of them. A little pricey but totally worth it! Definitely like the one off peachtree rd better than the Roswell rd location. You will not be disappointed!

We had a relaxing, family lunch to celebrate a birthday. At 11:30 on a weekday, we were seated at a booth and were able to enjoy a conversation. The menu is a refreshing change from standard fare, offering a variety of vegetarian and vegan options. The service was friendly and attentive with multiple refills on coffee, water, etc. We started with squash soup and fried avocado tacos, both excellent. I had a caprese sandwich with slabs of fresh mozzarella. The broccoli fries on the side were delicious, as was the salad. Vegan options were offered for cheese and dairy products, including coffee cream. Since it was a birthday, we had to ask to see the dessert options. Once we saw them, somehow we had to find room for the peanut butter pie and the chocolate raspberry torte. I will definitely return to try other menu items.

I loved this restaurant. Great service and menu selection. Sweet little atmosphere. We really liked our lunch and we were out in a flash. Located very close to the Shepherd Center where I was attending a conference.

I am living in Atlanta for the month for work. I was excited to find a vegan spot with great reviews. Terribly disappointed to find out from our waiter Cafe Sunflower orders their seasme chicken frozen from Taiwan. I would have hoped it was made in the restaurant or from a local source. Just doesn't seem like they care about the quality of there food.

This was difficult to rate as we came to Cafe Sunflower years ago and had a wonderful experience so we were so excited to come back to Atlanta and have dinner at Cafe Sunflower. We had reservations but got there early and they happily seated us. Our server, who was very pleasant, got our drink order (I ordered a flavored tea and my husband a glass of wine). As an appetizer we ordered Spring Rolls, which were pretty tasteless to our surprise. Our server gave us some time to enjoy our drinks before we ordered our entrees. I ordered the Cauliflower Steak and my husband the veggie loaf. My Cauliflower was just okay. Outside of the first bite, that was heavily salted, it was pretty tasteless as well. My side of veggies were good, but underwhelming to be honest. My husbands loaf, I thought was good, but he felt it was missing seasoning. I did take a bite of his mashed potatoes with I love and we both agreed that we did not care for them. There was a huge after-taste of Almond Milk, which was not pleasant. To top our night off, and because we were disappointed in our meals, we decided to have the Peanut Butter Pie, which was delicious. It was worth the extra calories. Overall take on our evening. The Cauliflower was not worth the price nor was the loaf. The only item worth the price was the dessert, certainly not the +$100 we spent for our evening. Unfortunately, this particular evening ruined our Cafe Sunflower experience. My husband rated the experience a 2 star but I couldn't do that to my vegan friends so it was just okay.

A VEGETARIAN haven, this Cafe Sunflower is located in a popular Bennett Street & Peachtree Rd. NW corner double tiered office building next to venerable Houston's. They have a Roswell location as well. Offering vegetarian starters, soups, entree's and sandwiches accompanied by a nice selection of wines or other beverages including blended veggie, kale and such, health drinks. A generous "daily specials" menu accents a flavorful and fresh general selection, many with a hint of Asia touch. I especially enjoyed a Portobello mushroom, Cheddar, tomato & greens melt choice, accompanied by baked sweet potato "fries" and mixed green salad. Usually served on a multi grain bun, which I skipped, as many do according to Brianna the server, to save some calories. It arrived, generously portioned, and delicious. A pretty lime slice accented a glass of water served without asking along with my beverage. Cozy, subdued lighting atmosphere or outdoor mini patio seating, with ample parking.

Wonderful restaurant with amazing vegan options and excellent service. Wish this restaurant was in my city I would eat here ALL the time. Super delicious options. I had 2 appetizers - vegan grilled advocado tacos and the nachos. Both delicious. Nachos could have been a little spicier but the tacos were amazing. Ordered dessert to go (raspberry chocolate mouse pie and WOW - so rich and delicious you'd never know it was vegan. Amazing food, good prices, nice atmosphere. Highly recommend them!

Wonderful selection of starters and entrees. Definitely coming back again and again to get through the menu. Superb staff, very knowledgeable about ingredients, neighborhood and former location. Very personable. And the atmosphere was perfect for friendly or romantic gatherings. Friends said the sweets were decadent!

The food was absolutely amazing. My husband had the breakfast burrito, I had the "chicken" biscuit, and my daughter had blueberry pancakes. They were all incredible and the portions were enormous. None of us finished all of our food but we tried hard! We took home three slices of cake for evening dessert and they were all marvelous as well. I highly recommend this place!

This place is remarkable. First, the environment is excellent - warm, modern and very cool. Second, the staff is top notch - you can tell they love what they do (and who wouldn't)! Third, the food it's absolutely outstanding. I use the term "magic" because I'm not certain how they can make so many delicious vegan items. Our family ordered about 6 appetizers, 4 entrees and 4 desserts - and shared them all. Not one dish was less than excellent. And by the way, dessert is a must - don't even consider skipping it! Do yourself a favor and visit Cafe Sunflower - you'll immediately want to plan your next visit with a friend!

First, I'm going to differentiate a bit here for folks in the carnivore community. I separate dishes into the meat substitute category (regular recipes that you'd expect in a carnivore restaurant, but they use meat substitutes), the vegan category (a vegetarian recipe where the dairy has been substituted with something like vegan cheese) and vegetarian category (a dish that features vegetables and wouldn't normally have dairy or meat in it to begin with). Anyway, Cafe Sunflower has all three. I tend to focus on the "vegetarian" category as defined above. I did have one meat substitute dish and it was like most meat substitute dishes ... good, but too close to meat (in my opinion -- not because meat freaks me out, but it's too easy to make the comparison and find the substitute lacking). I didn't have any dishes from the vegan category as defined above. We had five dishes in the vegetarian category and I'd say four were amazing and the other was quite good. We were very happy with our food. I see that the menu changes a lot and so not sure if it is worth posting our favorites, but here it goes: avocado tacos (come to think of it, these may have had a cheese substitute in them), brussels sprouts, spring rolls and the cauliflower steak. All amazing. Will be back. P.S. I didn't personally care for the juices, but may try another one before ruling them out going forward.

First discovered this outstanding vegan restaurant in March. Now 7 months later they have expanded to a much we larger space and it was certainly earned. I had to go back for the flavor explosion nachos as am appetizer. Possibly even better than in March. I took my servers advice and chose the walnut crusted tofu cutlet for my entree. She didn't steer me wrong as the red chili sauce, cutlet, rice noodles and jasmine rice created a flavor explosion. Definitely recommended. Can't wait to come back when in town next time and try another menu favorite. I brought away water in March and they loved this place so be bold and bring friends, they don't have to be vegan!

We split 2 delicious salads, Kale with avocado and grilled tofu over greens. Three of us split the chocolate cake. So good! Couldn’t believe it was vegan. Friendly service too

Went there for an early dinner. We ordered the spring rolls, Brussel sprouts, noodles, eggplant lasagna and enchiladas. All were very tasty. When we left the place was getting busier, a sign of a good restaurant. A bit on the expensive side. Wouldn’t know it is a vegan / veggie restaurant.

I am a month in to the "whole foods, plant-based diet" which shuns processed foods like refined flour and sugar that the human digestive system did not evolve eating. I am learning to make all sort of desserts at home sweetened with dates, bananas, etc., and was eagerly looking forward to some more inspiring meal and dessert ideas from the more experienced vegan chefs at Cafe Sunflower. While the meals did not disappoint, the dessert tray looked wonderful, until I learned that every single item was sweetened with sugar. Not one fruit or stevia-sweetened item anywhere. The waiter checked "out back" and found one leftover slice of vegan cheesecake that was sweetened with agave, so I tried that and it was okay. But I was surprised there were not more options for non-sugar eaters. Are we really that rare? Is there some other reason they don't offer more honey, agave or stevia based desserts?

Invited a friend to lunch, surprised her by choosing a vegan restaurant. Starters were crispy brussel sprouts and pan seared dumplings filled with cabbage, mushrooms, carrots and spinach. The main dishes were fiesta enchilada and a bbq seitan sandwhich. Everything was super yummy except the sandwich, something about the sauce and textures. After one bite I changed to the enchilada and it was 10x better. They close for a couple of hours to switch to the dinner menu, which I will definitely try in the future. Recommend this place for those curious about vegan food.

This place is incredible, even if you are not vegetarian (which I am not.) My daughter and I were in town for a conference, and we met up with a friend to go here. It was so good we went a second time. Love the pan fried dumplings! I had a marsala cauliflower that was delicious! They also have some incredible desserts. Staff was super friendly and helpful too, so what more could you ask for?

Overall, food was delicious. I would expect more on the customer service side, meaning being more welcoming to new comers and menu. It was a lot of things we were confuse about without explaining. Nice food and great place. We had tacos, pancakes, sausage, home fries, biscuits and gravy and mimosas delicious

There are two locations here in Atlanta, one is in Buckhead one is in Sandy Springs They have slightly different menus, the Buckhead location has a bar. Great wait staff they have dietary restrictions that they will work with you gluten free no peanuts no salt you let them know I had a great quinoa Burger delicious meatless lasagna all my friends enjoy their food I believe they're open Christmas Eve they also deliver I highly recommend this place definitely give it a try there was so many good things on the menu. Check them out online.

It was my friend's birthday and since he is getting older he wants to try and eat more vegetables. I suggested Cafe Sunflower to show him that veggies can be just as delish as a burgers, pizza, or even takeout chinese food. He played it safe and got the Quesadillas with broccoli fries and LOVED IT! We even tried the vegan german chocolate and coconut pineapple cakes. We probably won't even regular cake again. Both pieces were divine!! I had the fried avocado tacos and the caprese sandwich. Everything was perfect. Hopefully this experience sets my friend on a healthy path to eating more veggies.

Excellent vegan fare. Very large and well presented portions. Do not turn down the desserts, those are fantastic, especially the strawberry shortcake.

This place is worth the hype! Locals and friends who have visited Atlanta have raved about this place; they were right. Since I went vegan 5 years ago, I haven’t had shrimp or key lime pie, so, I got the shrimp tacos and the key like pie. They were both delectable!

Great place to go for fine dining in vegan/vegetarian food. Awesome place to bring your non-vegetarian friends. FYI- A lil pricey.

After the Peachtree Road Race on July 4th, my wife and I stopped for lunch at the Cafe Sunflower. My wife is vegetarian and so this seemed to be a good choice. We both liked the decor and overall ambience of the restaurant and the quiet jazz music in the background gave the place a very comfortable, urbane feel. The only problem is that although the menu specifies which dishes are nut free and soy free, the reality is that almost none of the dishes are actually soy free. This is a major problem since many vegetarians are allergic to soy. The problem could be easily alleviated if only the restaurant would cook with olive oil rather than peanur oil or sunflower oil. Granted those other oils are cheaper but their use belies any claim that the restaurant seriously considers the allergies of its patrons.

Overall great experience! My sister and I were in town seeing an exhibit at the High. I am vegan and she is not. Everything we ordered was delicious and were good portions. I especially loved the fried green tomatoes and orzo eggplant lasagna.

even though it is a little pricey it is very good and the best you will find in Atlanta. The "drinks" are not worth the cost

Visiting ATL piled in car with group of business associates, where to? Enroute one announced, I'm a vegetarian. The remainder groaned and busy on the mobile app up came Cafe Sunflower. Outside nothing much to look out in a semi-strip mall with other restaurants. However, the atmosphere was funky as we walked in and took our table. Waitress a bit funky as well. The large menu had an assortment of dishes and we opt'd to share everything. I'm normally not a big fan of faux meat dishes, but I have to say nearly every dish was well executed and tasty. Portions sizes are quite large (table minus 1 might be a good rule). Low lighting and nicely decorated made for a good date place as well. Overall, our meaty friends were all pleasantly surprised. Prices aren't necessarily cheap nearly a $50 a person (including 2 bottles of wine which tilted the scale). DEFINITELY A RETURN VISIT so on my list of recommendations.

Not only was everything we had super delicious, but it was 100% Vegan. For anyone who doesn't think Vegan food can't be tasty, this place will undoubtedly change your mind. We had entrees that tasted even better than if they actually had real meat. We also had breakfast/brunch there, and the blueberry pancakes are to die for. Excellent service and incredible food. This restaurant is a must regardless if you are vegan or not. Total eye-opening experience!

We went there for a late lunch and it was delicious. My son had the sunflower burger with nice fries and a salad with a spicy dressing. I had the BBQ tempeh and greens, while my daughter had the ravioli. We had great desserts too, the cheesecake and the triple chocolate cake.

Gourmet Vegan fare extraordinaire! This was a wonderful meal - I am not a vegan but my daughter is so finding a place like this for a gourmet meal was so special. We had the

If you are looking for exceptional vegan/vegetarian dining, then this is the place. The venue and atmosphere are open, energetic, vibrant and alive. The staff is attentive and the menu options. The presentation was excellent. Whenever I am on the East Coast and in Atlanta, this is my go-to place. I loved the dessert options and would highly recommend Cafe Sunflower. I think that carnivores would even like it and I would encourage them to give this restaurant a try.

As a vegetarian, it is wonderful to be able to pick any item on the menu and not have to worry about what the ingredients are. But to top it off, everything on their menu is delicious! Even my non-veg friends like it!

We had a wonderful breakfast burrito and soy latte. I recommend this restaurant and would go back again.

Me eat meat, wife eat stuff that comes from ground. Me know “secret words Yes Dear," so we go to Sunflower for our one night in Atlanta. Me go back to Sunflower without hesitation!! It was a totally 5 star evening. The restaurant is well designed in a casual elegant style. Our server Steve suggested several dishes and gave us honest reviews in not ordering certain items. Steve suggested a local beer, Creature Comforts Tropicalla IPA from Athens which had a great taste. My wife started with the Lentil soup and I optioned for the Spring Rolls and the Grilled Eggplant Caprese Stack. All three where excellent. The elements that comprised the Eggplant blended well and I loved this dish. For our entrees my wife went for the Fiesta Enchilada and I went for the #1 ordered item the Sesame Soy Chicken. Steve said that if they took this off the menu they would close down it is ordered so much. We both enjoyed our dishes. I asked Steve if there was a Chick-Fil-A near by because I swear someone snuck some real chicken into this dish. The taste of the soy chicken was amazing and was the total flavor of the dish. Steve told us that the owner brings his soy chicken in from Thailand. We finished our dinner with a piece of Peanut Butter/chocolate cake. I would give up a Ribeye at Capital Grill for another dinner at Sunflower anytime!

This place was great, I had a light lunch, salad and soup and I must say it was very tasty, unlike other vegan places I tried. Looking to going back for another thing on the menu, the soup and salad was a safe choice but I was already full and was meeting a friend for lunch.

This place was so good that we visited two nights in a row! First night, I had the cauliflower steak marsala, which was good - though if I had to do it over again, I would request that it be cooked well done because a more tender texture would have been a LOT easier to cut. Otherwise, the sides that came with it were excellent. Also excellent was our appetizer of Fried Avocado Tacos! Then came dessert . . .peanut butter pie, which was TOTALLY dairy-free, but you would NEVER know it, The texture and taste were EXACTLY the same as a childhood favorite of mine loaded with cream cheese-- the only difference is that I didn't end up in a food coma! The second night I tried the sesame chicken stir fry, which was good but a bit too sweet for my taste. Much preferred the supreme nachos with vegan cheese. And after the yummy dessert the night before, we tried the raspberry chocolate ganache cake. All in all, pricey but worth it. I am planning on bringing my omnivore hubby back here on out next trip to Atlanta.

After having tried their food at VegFest and other Vegetarian/Vegan events, we finally had dinner here. The decor is very beautiful and romantic. However, the lights were dimmed a bit too much for my taste (not for my wife's taste though). We started with Spring Rolls and Buffalo Popsicles. Both were delicious. The spring rolls were crisp and fresh with a hint of ginger, and the popsicles had an interesting texture and were a bit spicy. For our entrees we had Sesame Soy Chicken and Fajitas. The waiter asked us if we were also going to share our entrees as we had our starters and when we said yes, we were happily surprised that the chef had pre-divided the food into two plates. So thoughtful! We ended our dinner with two slices of cake: Peanutbutter and Chocolate Mousse cake, and Vanilla and Coconut Cream cake. Outstanding!! We can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu!

Excellent food and experience! Chelsea totally took care of us! Food was delicious, especially the lasagna. It's been my experience that it's overall pretty difficult to find vegan food that makes you say "WOW" but Sunflower beat my expectations. Great service and reasonable prices. We'll be back!

Although we were actually here on a family vacation, my husband and I were immediately struck by the fact that Sunflower actually has a romantic, upscale dining atmosphere that is next to impossible to find for vegetarians. And the food more than lived up to the ambiance: delicious, unique, and creative without being over the top. Literally every single item we ordered was wonderful: squash soup, beet carpaccio, spring rolls, some kind of portobello eggplant stack (with pesto), pad thai, teriyaki stir fry, and squash ravioli. Each item was a taste sensation all its own. We enjoyed every bite! Definitel recommended, especially for a date.

As a vegetarian family we were all pleased with our choices - great selection of options and a surprisingly nice ambience

My husband and I were finally able to try this place after hearing so many good things about it. It lived up to the hype. We went for Sunday brunch around noon and were promptly seated. It was quite busy and continued to fill up after we arrived. The place is very warm and inviting. I started with this great mimosa type drink that was delicious. For my entree, I had the blueberry pancakes and they were so good and fluffy. It had almond butter, maple syrup, blueberry coulis and vegan whipped cream. My husband had the biscuits and gravy along with some sausage, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, it was a great experience with great food and service. It is a vegan place, so please remember that, but their options were plentiful and tasty.

My husband and I search for the best vegan restaurants when we travel, and this place is at the top of our list. It's a close competition between Cafe Sunflower and Chicago Diner in Chicago. The food here is fresh and absolutely delicious!! This is real vegan food for anyone that loves good food. We were planning to leave Atlanta pretty early on Sunday, but decided to stay an extra 3 hours JUST for the brunch. I am currently standing in line with about 10 other people waiting to get in. We are standing outside in 40 degree weather just patiently waiting on the hostess to open the door. Yes, it's just that good! This is the best VEGAN restaurant in Atlanta.

Tried to eat here today, but apparently nobody could be bothered to seat me. After 10 minutes of standing like an idiot at the desk looking at the "please wait to be seated" sign, I decided they didn't need my business and left.

Awesome food and awesome service. Both food and the good service is always consistent here. Authentic dishes.

I went here for the first time on my birthday. I am very excited to have a vegetarian option for dinners. I expected it to be super casual since it is in a shopping center - but it is surprisingly sophisticated. Food was delicious, service was great - even the hostess was very nice and helpful with a birthday reservation. I highly recommend it.

My husband and I have changed our eating habits to plant based whole food. Which can be a challenge when traveling and eating out. This restaurant is over the top excellent, the service was amazing, our server Alan, brought us some complimentary spring rolls while we awaited our meal. They were just right! Flaky on the outside and sweet and soft on the inside, delicious. I got the eggplant lasagna, when I tell you this was the best meal I have had in a long time it ain't no joke. The sauce was incredible, I asked for the recipe, but did not get it. However the owner did say it was a roasted scallion base. My husband loved his meal as well, I'll let him write about his meal. All and all we had a fantastic experience! I'm looking forward to the cook book!

If I knew about this restaurant earlier in my trip to Atlanta, I would have happily had more than one meal here. There were at least ten items on the menu I wanted to try. I appreciated that the vegetarian items were creative and were more interesting than just substituting tofu in place of meat. Service was very good and prices were reasonable.

This all-vegetarian restaurant is a destination worth exploring in Atlanta. The menu is expansive, crossing several ethnic cuisines. The kitchen was happy to prepare something from the dinner menu for lunch. The wine list is good and the service is excellent. Everything is vegetarian or vegan, some things are gluten free. The only problem is the parking, which is limited in the little strip mall and has been usurped by Houston's valets. Be patient - the restaurant is worth it.

Cafe Sunflower Sunday brunch was much better than dinner. Good service, good atmosphere - tasty vegan brunch but dinner was a different experience. If you order a non-dairy dish, be careful - got sick after eating there - not sure how the food was contaminated with dairy but it was.

Cafe Sunflower is okay for dinner, but brunch is where they really shine! I've eaten there several times, and it's always been amazing. The tofu omelet is good, but the blueberry pancakes and "chicken" and waffles are worth driving two and a half hours for. I always make sure to eat there each trip, and I'm never disappointed!

My favourite time to visit Cafe Sunflower is for Sunday brunch, although their lunch and dinners are fantastic as well. Vegan food so good it will convert even the biggest carnivores. Love this place and have never been disappointed.

Great food and great service. The slider is light and refreshing. It's totally vegan. It's one of the best vegan restaurant in Atlanta. Great place to bring non-vegetarian friends

I always visit this plac with my mom. We love tacos here and tasty salads. Tha staff is friendly and fast.

This food was just the thing we needed after our four hours in the car- filling, but not too heavy. Lots of options for everyone. It was busy, but they worked our late group in as quickly as possible.

The food is amazing all vegan. We had the fried tacos as an appetizer. It was three tacos and so flavorful. We ordered the lasagna and Sesame chick’n. Leave room for dessert 🍮 had the carrot cake and the chocolate moose. All of the food items were delicious a must when in town.

Great menu, great options for different veggie diets and all delicious. I ordered their recipe book too

My husband and I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The menu had a lot to choose from. We had the spring rolls to start. I had the fajitas and my husband had the "meatloaf". Everything was delicious. My only regret is that I didn't know about the desserts before I ate. The waitress brought over a huge selection of yummy looking cakes but we were too full to have any.

Delicious food! So many options for appetizers and entrees. Very nice interior and friendly staff. The cake serving size is huge so make sure you save room if you want dessert! The food is very flavorful and presented beautifully. A lot of the dishes were very creative. Top notch place. Evan if you're not vegetarian or vegan you will enjoy a great meal.

I’ve had tacos all over the southern U. S. I’ve had tacos in Mexico, Costa Rica and Panama. I’ve had Shrimp Tacos everywhere they had them. I’ve never had better Shrimp Tacos than the ones I had here. They were absolutely amazing — and they aren’t ever Shrimps.

This is the best place to eat no matter what your interest is. Be here. The wings, the steak, OMG, the shrimp!!!!! The fiesta, the pad Thai....nothing is ever disappointing

My wife and I, drove and hour to visit this restaurant and were not disappointed. The food had amazing favor and was some of the best vegan food we have had to date. Also the service we had matched the level of the food. We will be making the drive again.

A vegetarian's paradise, seasonal dishes, all beautifully cooked. Good size portions and friendly service

Very nice restaurant with lots of vegetarian options. I was disappointed that I was charged $3.00 for a small bottle of Coke with no refills. Service was excellent. I didn't like the first entree that I ordered and they offered to bring something else. I probably wouldn't eat here again because the food was way overpriced.

Everything on my plate was good. I had the caprese sandwich with a salad and roasted vegetables. Food was fresh and flavorful, and hot when brought to the table. That's all I really need. My server was very friendly. Nice place for lunch or dinner.

I always love coming to Cafe Sunflower. The service is consistently good. The food is full of flavor. I have tried several dishes and have not been disappointed.

I am a vegetarian who went out with a mix of people who all had different eating styles. Everyone was able to find something they loved and it was so yummy I didn't even notice it was vegan. Also, be sure to get a desert. They are absolutely scrumptious!

New & updated décor. The services was great. We had a very friendly and accommodating waitress. The non-alcoholic drink was also wonderful. BUT, it stops there. My entrée tasted burned (despite not appearing burned. Perhaps the sauce had been burned in prep & just used???). The waitress offered to swap out my meal but in fact this was my 2nd choice & they were out of my 1st choice. I passed & just left half of my meal on the table. I prepare better Vegan dishes at home for a lot less money. We will not be returning.

Of course, if you are a die-hard vegetarian of any stripes, you will think your menu selection is a gift from the green goddesses. Omnivores will find multiple selections that will flip their palates. But, what about that crusty carnivore who doesn't feel fully fed without seeing signs of carnage on his plate? There are no bones, no marrow, no blood...but, every dish is sumptuous, every plate a feast for the eyes, every bowl heaping...and the lingering tastes are satisfying to the hungriest amongst us.Throw a dart at the entrees; you can't miss. I have a fondness for Asian cuisine, so my stand-bys are the pan seared (or steamed) dumplings, the sesame (not-)chicken or spicy pad Thai noodles. The tasty desserts can be a bit dry without gluten, dairy or eggs binding them, so I suggest the wicked chocolate peanut butter mousse pie. The new location on Peachtree Road has been updated to elegant simplicity, warm and inviting. The service was professional, friendly without hovering or being too chatty (thank you), and expeditious (there were 10 of us). The wine list needs some work, but other than that, there is no dilemma for anyone at all. Enjoy!

This is the best Vegetarian food I had in Atlanta. It can turn the meatiest of meat eaters into fans. We ordered Fajitas soy steak and Pad Thai Noodles. The food was really delicious and filling. The service was friendly, clean, quickly and efficient. The ambience was perfect for any date night or quiet evening out in Buckhead. Make a reservation! The place got packed. Make sure it's at the right location too! (Many people confuse it with the sandy springs location.) The price tag is a bit high however. Expect a $25-40 cost with tax and tip for each person.

-Fresh, good quality ingredients -Wide variety of Vegan options -Clean, nice ambiance -The Sunflower Burger with added portobello and added avocado was super messy (eat with fork) but delicious!! The salad that comes with the burger was lite and delicious. The sweet potato wedges that come with the burger did NOT taste good to me...very blah. -Carrot cake was definitely different as Vegan version, but was fairly decent overall. -Price point overall was reasonable except the toppings for burger seemed a little excessive in cost. -Service was good.

Such good food. Cute place and good service. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was really good and the eggplant lasagna was good too.

I really enjoyed eating at Café Sunflower. I visited for brunch on a weekend (limited menu) and had a veggie burrito, which was filling and delicious. I visited again on a weekday where the full and extensive lunch menu is available. My only caveat is that the food I ordered was somewhat bland. They also did not clearly mark the vegetarian from vegan dishes so I had to verify that the 'cheddar cheese' was vegan and not dairy. Good value and good wine list. Very nice atmosphere and wonderful staff.

There were so many options on the menu that we couldn't try in one visit and so we are looking forward to our next visit. The steamed dumplings and ravioli were superb. The spring rolls were fried. They were excellent but if you don't like grease, skip them. The fried potato/ bean balls were ok. The carrot cake should not be missed.

Likes: (1) Plentiful seating (indoor & outdoor). (2) Menu varies often but the options are always good. Some really tasty choices are: Tofu Benedict, Avocado Toast and Stuffed Acorn Squash. (3) Offers a "Sunday Brunch" @ this Buckhead location (the Roswell Rd location is closed on Sundays). (4) Shares a lot with Houston's restaurant and several other businesses so there is plenty of parking. (5) Hot herbal tea available. Dislike: (1) Some of the Sunday Brunch offerings are very popular so some dishes "sale out" quickly so get there earlier on Sundays.

One of my favorite vegetarian restaurants in the country! I have been there three times and have been consistently impressed with the range of tasty, healthy selections. You won't be disappointed!

We were there for lunch on a Saturday. We ordered Sunflower box and the Soy burger. We could see that every item was prepared with freshest of organic ingredients and tasted excellent. We were very pleased. The wait staff did a very fine job. The ambience was very good also. Overall, an excellent place for vegetrain food in Atlanta.

I have been to many vegan restaurants in New York City, Boston, DC, Etc. Cafe Sunflower exceeded all of my expectations. We started off with the Buffalo lollipops and the mushroom scallops. Both dishes were exceptional. The mushrooms tasted like scallops. The drumsticks were unbelievably just like chicken drumettes. Even the mock skin on the chicken drumettes were perfect. We then had pad thai noodles and the stuffed acorn squash. Both were fantastic. The sauce in the pad thai noodles was mouth watering. The stuffed acorn squash was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. We also tried their carrot cake and chocolate raspberry mousse pie. You will not be disappointed with anything you ate at Cafe Sunflower. We had a couple of doggy bags and enjoyed the rest the next day.

We were pleasantly surprised to find the varied menu that accommodates vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. We tried several starters and loved all; spring rolls, caprese stack, dumplings, and veggie tacos with fried avocado. My daughter even requested an extra order of dumplings to eat later! The restaurant is smallish which just adds to its quaint elegant with vases of wildflowers and tea lights on each table. The staff are very friendly. Recommend reservations on Saturday. Highly recommend you give it a try!

I found sunflower due to its positive ratings on tripadvisor. My wife and I enjoy new vegetarian restaurants and were not disappointed. They had plenty of great choices that all looked very good. I had the lasagna, and found it very good. There were plenty of Gluten free choices as well. Very attractive on the inside, quiet little place. The service was very fast, and knowledgeable. My wife tried the Acorn Squash dish, and loved it. We will go back again. Being a vegetarian, it is fun going to a place that you can order everything on the menu- the food was very good.

I'm a land, sea, sky dietary consumer. Yet, I could actually become a vegetarian if all my meals came from CAFE SUNFLOWER. The menu has extensive options in all categories of a meat-based restaurant (apps, mains, desserts, salads, etc.). The food was quite flavorful. I dined without adding condiments or table-side seasonings... a rarity. The portions are significant too. After finishing my entree I did not have room for the delectable sweets. A mistake I will not make next time. The wait staff is charming and yogi-like. If the weather is suitable then the patio with Jade as your server is winner-winner.

Yum yum and yum! I was here for 5 days and I ate here 3 times! I've been a vegetarian for 12 years and this is by fat my favorite restaurant. Delicious food, great atmosphere-all over awesome!! Can't say enough good things. Very happy!

Fantastic lunch menu from appetizers through to the deserts. Fresh, delicious, creative and worth EVERY penny. Friendly and informative staff who know exactly how each item on the menu is prepared. An absolute MUST if you are looking for a healthy and delicious dining experience. Will be back for more.....guaranteed!

I've eaten here several times and also the location on Roswell road. The Ptree location has always seemed more crowded. If you are a standard meat and potatoes person this isn't the place for you. They have vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, nut free, something for everyone unless you want beef(unless I'm mistaken-check menu online). A trendy crowd usually eats here. I've liked most of the dishes. Some of them are unusual.

Very fresh healthy food for even the biggest meat eaters. Great tea, butternut squash soup and I had the sesame chicken and I thought it was really chicken. A better stir fry dish than I get at most chinese restaurants. Ill be back and try desert next time

Making a decision what to eat, even though the menu is "small", is the toughest part about the Sunday brunch. Cafe Sunflower once again has conjured up some great mid morning eats that are fresh, healthy and thankfully not your overkill portions as common in the U.S. Finished off the brunch with a slice of German Chocolate cake......need to know the secret of how to bake so ridiculously awesome!

While their menu is (mostly) plant-based, you don't have to be vegan to love this restaurant. Three of us—a vegan, a vegetarian, and an omnivore—enjoyed several appetizers, entrées, and desserts this evening, and everyone thought every course was amazing. No matter your dietary disposition, don't miss this!

The Quinoa Avocado Burrito was good but underwhelming. Pro: Beautiful restaurant decor. Con: Parking sucks, and the $14 lunch burrito was only O.K. and the staff didn't seem to care that we had a long wait in an empty restaurant. Think I'll skip this place next time.

The service, food, and atmosphere was wonderful. Vegan food, including desserts, were extraordinary. I recommend it for vegans and vegetarians and think that even non-vegans woukd enjoy it.

Wow, the Food is so delicious at the Cafe Sunflower! If I lived in Atlanta, I would eat there every week! Everyone in our Party of four loved their Dinner! I had a Kale Salad and Stir Fried Vegetables. Sooo Good! The Atmosphere and Service were both great! An added "Bonus" is that when you finish eating you know you have the done the right thing for your Body! Don't miss eating here!

Freaking amazing beverages. Great appetizers, entrees I wouldn't have tried. I went once, then brought all my friends. Thanks for a great time and showing my friends that vegan food is the best!!! Service was tremendous, calm, quiet, professional. One of the best meals of my life. I miss you...

I ordered the chicken "seitan" stir fry and my husband ordered the blueberry pancakes, even though they were out of blueberry and I had to give alternate suggestions like strawberries (what?!) when this threw the server for a real loop after asking for substitute toppings. I also had a cappuccino that was very thick and creamy. The food was really good, but I give only three stars due to poor service. The waiter was nice enough, but it took a good hour to get our food, after waiting half an hour to be seated.

It's not easy to find, but Cafe Sunflower is worth the effort. Tucked into an upscale community of town homes and apartments, it's on the lower level with ample parking. We went here to celebrate a birthday, and had a great time. It's a white tablecloth kind of establishment, but the atmosphere is "fine casual." We enjoyed flavorful entrees served by efficient staff. I recommend the Cafe Sunflower burger (beautifully plated and so flavorful). My daughter had sesame chicken, my husband had Garden Loaf: a hearty soy veggie loaf and herb mashed potatoes with miso mushroom gravy, with grilled asparagus and spring rolls.

Had lunch here recently with my wife and her college roommate. First off, comfortable environment, friendly/knowledgeable staff. Second, food. Looking at the menu it is hard to pick something to try with all the offerings. Suggestions from the college roommate proved to be the right choices. The Sesame "chicken" was outstanding texturally and taste-wise. The mushroom soup was better than I thought it might be, as I normally like mine full of mushroom pieces and this was just a creamy mushroom goodness. Other entree's were tasty and plentiful. I was told the chocolate cake (no flour) was "the best" so I tried that and wasn't disappointed. Maybe not "the best" but right up there with my Mom's version. The carrot cake was somewhat disappointing according to my wife, a bit on the dry side. All-in-All, there is something fresh and flavorful for everyone. Will definitely revisit next time we are in Atlanta.
Must go! Excellent food!
Vegetarians will love this place! So many options! I had the supreme nachos and they were absolutely delicious! Their dessert options are mindblowing too! You have to try this place when you're in Atlanta
