The restaurant is cozy. The service is excellent. The food is varied. They have a lot of specials for the day. Even though the restaurant is Italian it’s not the traditional pizza, spaghetti, ravioli type of restaurant. They have octopus, filet, etc. It is in a strip center so parking is free.

I have now been to Caffe di Notte on three separate occasions and plan on making it a yearly tradition. The three times I have come I have had amazing food, great service and an overall wonderful experience. I have come with family, friends and just my fiance and have enjoyed each time. My first two visits were on the weekend, which can be quite busy, so it is a good idea to make a reservation. The third time was on a week night and tables were readily available. On entering the restaurant you might be surprised with its size because it is relatively small, but actually this gives it a more intimate feel unlike your larger chain restaurants. Another unique feature is its decor -- the walls are decorated with local area painters and you can actually ask to purchase the paintings you see on display, which I found to be very unique. The waiters attend to you very quickly and are very informative regarding the specials of the day, which do change unlike in other places. Each time i have come I have tried at least one of the specials of the day and have never been dissapointed yet. Let me also not forget to mention they have a good choice in wines. Any dish I have had, from fish to chicken to pasta, has always impressed me. This past visit i tried the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and they were amazing. My fiance had the stuffed scallop, which melts in your mouth. I had a stuffed seafood ravioli and my fiance had the sea bass -- both were incredible. Deserts are also scrumptious. From a variety of cheesecakes to tiramisu you should definitely find something for your sweet tooth and enjoy immensely. If you are ever in the Kendall area give Caffe Di Notte a try. It might become a tradition for you as well.

This is not an ordinary restaurant. The service is amazing and the food is just beyond delight. The food is gourmet, they have excellent wine list. It's never crowed, excellent for a romantic dinner.

Great service, as expected. The pear and goat cheese appetizer was great but the star if the night was the ossobucco and champagne risotto, cooked to perfection the meat was soft, tender ....the risotto provided a great balance. Simply spectacular.

Forget the strip mall its in. You walk in and feel like you have been here before. They give you a menu but don't open it. Just listen to the specials or tell them what you are in the mood for. The pasta I had was incredible. The service was the kind that you never get(but pay for!). You ask, and they "can prepare anything". The restaurant is small, warm, friendly and you are family. These places just don't exist anymore!

great food 5 star staff. We just came home from Caffe Di Note I had de lobster ravioli and my wife had the risotto and as always delicious . what completes the great evening is the always attentive staff. We'll be back for more

This Restaurant is great. I would recommended to anyone that enjoys Italian food and great service. I've been here for lunch, the food was delicious. Our waiter was great, we did not have to look for him, wait for water to be filled, ect. It is a hidden gem, will be back soon.

I love this place for lunch or dinner...the ambiance is great and I love the art work that surrounds the place. Very cozy and romantic for the day and night as well. The food is great and better yet the lunch special is fabulous!!!

Caffe do Notte is an excellent place to gather for lunch in a group. The service was great. The food was good. My soup was excellent but my lasagne cold. The executive 3 course lunch is a great value. The tiramisu was delicious.

I have been to this local place for lunch and dinner on multiple occasions and have always been pleased. It is a diamond in the rough... the "rough" being endless strip malls with forgettable shops and restaurants along 72nd street. You'll have to look to find this place but it will be worth the trouble! They always have an attentive staff that will read off some 4 - 5 specials -- definitely listen to these before you order - they are always fresh and unique flavors. They offer yummy bread rolls and a whipped garlic cream cheese butter concoction that is great for the bread bellies out there (like me). The menu leans towards Italian but this is no place for mama's Sunday sauce. They go deeper and farther than standard Italian fare and their meals infuse a variety of flavors - I always go for the pumpkin ravioli in some sort of a buttery sweet goodness sauce. I think that may be the official name, "buttery sweet goodness sauce." ha ha. It is a sweet dish that some may find over the top, but it is perfect in my mouth! Their desserts are interesting, too. Not the same old cheesecake and creme brulee - expect crepes, souffles, and other fancy treats. At lunch time, they offer an prix fixe "executive lunch" which is basically an appetizer, main dish and dessert for a single price -- an affordable way to try it all. Typical of the local culture, you will have to ask for the check - no one is going to hurry you out of this place. Perfect for a business lunch or date night! Highly recommend!

Food and service are 2nd to none, never had a bad meal since going there, their daily specials have no comparison in the business, great job guys.

The menu is small but the chef's imagination is abundant. I have gone about 10 times by now, and every time the day's specials are totally different and a wide variety to select from. The restaurant is not big and the walls are covered by nice artwork that make the place cozy, romantic and inviting. They have a great selection of wine. My recommendation is you order from the day's special, and if you like fish, go for it. I just melts in your mouth. The staff is very helpful and attentive.

When you first see this restaurant it is very unassuming. It looks like just another restaurant in a strip center. However once you get inside everything changes. The inside is very nicely decorated as an Italian restaurant. There are wine bottles everywhere and the tables all have white tablecloth's. The executive lunch is truly excellent. For a very reasonable price you'll get some of the best Italian food you've ever had. The executive lunch includes a salad or soup, a main dish, and a dessert. When I was there I had the blue cheese and Pear ravioli. It was amazingly good, very sweet and perfect tasting. The desert was some of the best Flan I have had in Miami. One note is that this is a restaurant with very rich food and modest portions. If you were looking for quantity not quality than this may not be a place for you. However if you want a very good meal with a reasonable portions then this is a great choice.

This restaurant is a real sleeper. The chef is absolutely excellent, serving a variety of dishes that are truly outside the box. Our server was both professional and caring, making for a easygoing and very tasty dinner.

My family and I fine at Caffe Di Notte atleast once every two weeks because of how amazing the food is and how excellent we are treated by the servers and managers. Hugo and Giuseppe are always so welcoming and attentive!!

Great food, creative, tasty. Great way to treat kids, they will go out of theirway to ensure they feel comfrotable and well attended. Highly recommended.

This is a small Italian restaurant with the walls covered in colorful oil paintings. The menu is short but it is the daily special you want to pay attention to. I must have gone like 10 times now and I have never been disappointed. The crab cake for appetizer is delicious and the fish of the day is so soft that it melts in your mouth. Last night I has fillet mignon with a Marsala sauce that was delicious. Normaly I do not care for lamb but I trod a bite from my Mom's and it was very good.

When a friend suggested this restaurant, one thinks "another Italian strip center restaurant". It is true that this restaurant is in a small shopping center. They open for dinner at 6:00. When we arrived we were promptly greeted and seated immediately. The staff was very cordial and made us right "at home". We ordered drinks and listened to the sizable list of specials. Long story short. This is a really good restaurant. I highly suggest this venue if you are looking for great food and a great wait staff.

A gem for fine Italian food with a touch of Latin flavor, in an intimate setting, for years. The restaurant also features walls filled with colorful paintings and some walls with wine storage. The Chicken Francese, Fettuccine Carbonera with chicken, the Risotto and Flank Steak of a fish dish are all excellent. Chicken Ravioli; Linguini Bolognese; and Penne Pasta al Pomodoro, all good as well. If you love Lobster Bisque soup, it alone is worth the visit.

Been Coming here for years. Everything is great. I love that they are always thinking out of the box. Totally different food and so close to home. Love it!!!

My family and I have dined here on various occasions. This suburb of Miami has really exploded with great restaurants, but have to say Caffe Di Notti still is not only delicious but consistent with food as well as service. If you are in the area, or don't mind a little drive it's well worth it. The appetizers of the scallops or the burrata was delicious. The surf and turf as well as the ravioli stuffed with crab with shrimp was also amazing. The desserts are also scrumptious. Happy Dining.

Our family goes there at least once a month. Food is great. Hugo is always our waiter, he is like family and knows what everyone likes. Service is very good. All dishes are delicious. Giuseppe always know what wine we Will like. I highly recommended

This small gem of a restaurant reminds me of being in a Bistro in Milano. The food is excellent, the service attentive and the lunch prices are very reasonable, higher for dinner. The varied menu offers excellent choice and outstanding food. The art work covering the walls is attractive (they are for sale), the ambiance refined and the clientele sophisticated. Hidden within a small Mall on Sunset Drive this gem of a Bistro, run by South Americans, probably has some of the best food in Miami. Don't miss this gem, Escoffier must be smiling from above!!!

The restaurant is charming and the staff could not be more accommodating, patient, and helpful! Due to prices and menu, I would not recommend for children. There were six of us in our party and each one thought the food was excellent.

We have been going to Caffe Di Notte for about 7/8 years. The specials are great. We don’t order from the menu, we always order from the specials or they will be more than happy to accommodate to your requests. Very good pasta, good risottos, good fish or seafood! SERVICE is great. We love it, is a gem!

Food and service excellent. The specials never disappoint! Great lunch a bargain! Also tried wine pairing dinner delish!

I had another wonderful lunch at this restaurant. The food was excellent and for the lunch special price of $16 it cannot be beat. It has excellent quality and choice of appetizer/soup; main entree and Tiramisu or Flan for the fixed price. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy and I always get great service from the professional and service mindful staff. A great place to take clients, family and friends.

Recommended by a local friend. I had the executive menu selection. Service was friendly and prompt. Flavorfull, well prepared meal. Small quaint locale.

Birthday celebration with a friend who invited me at this little gem that I was not aware of. Food was amazing, service superb and cozy and relaxed atmosphere. Thumbs up !!!

I am frequently in Miami for business and always make time for at least one meal here. I have never ordered off the menu- I never get that far. The daily specials are always something pretty amazing. The corn and cilantro soup I had last week was one of the best things I've ever tasted. Entree recently tasted that I hope makes a return appearance was a lump crab stuffed black ravioli topped with white sauce and baby shrimp. I've eaten here 15-20 times and each time is better than the last.

Everything was perfect. You cannot go wrong dining here. The service was personal and excellent but the food is the star of the place.

13 of us went to have dinner here tonight. My buddy had been here and was raving about it. This place is literally 2 min from my house and I didn’t have high expectations for a neighborhood Italian place. The food was amazing. I’ve had dozens of chicken Parms all over the US, and honestly I can’t remember if I have ever had a better one. The prices are a bit higher than you might expect, but you get what you pay for. I had the coconut plan and was also great. I highly recommend this place.

So it is a Saturday Night and you are going out for a late dinner and want to stay away from South Beach or the Gables but want a nice atmosphere and great food this is one of the handful of places to do that in the Kendall area. Location is unpretencious if not commercial since it is in a strip shopping center. Once inside the simple but tasteful decor puts you at ease. The service is so wonderful it may even make the food taste better, the staff was accomodating and was able to find a combination that was exactly what my wife wanted that night. Filet mignon was perfect as was my chicken rolatini, the rissotto was the best and just what we were looking for. They have a comprehensive wine list even though a glass of house wine was good for this dinner. For all those that like to bring their own there is a reasonable corkage fee so I would recomend you go for it with your wine. I am actually looking forward to a return visit and tryiing to find some other gem on the menu. It may be just the place for you for that special dinner. Excellent!

I asked for no salt or butter. My vegetables were buttered, salted, and very cold. The salmon was a very very small piece. My meal was extremely over priced for what I received! We enjoyed the paintings on the wall, but the head waiter gave the restaurant an austere atmosphere.

We eat here all the time and I never disappointed. Don't be intimidated by the strip mall- this place is so great it is worthy of being in Coral Gables. The food is amazing. My recommendation is for you to wait until you hear the specials before you decide on what you want to eat. I've never had a bad meal. The pasta specials are always delightful and the appetizers are too good to share with another person. I recommend saving space for dessert because the guava pastry and tiramisu are delicious - the tiramisu has small pieces of Heath bar- yum! We have been here with our small children and the staff is always very welcoming. The children's home made chicken fingers are incredible and their fries are so crispy that I end up mooching from the kids. This place is great on a special occasion and also great for a casual meal if you come early enough. I recommend 6 o'clock during the week if you have small children. It can be very busy on a Saturday night.

If you are in SW area you do not need to drive to Coral Gables in order to eat an Italian food. Caffe di Notte has everything... good service, cheap food and nice place if I have to choice twice I will visit di Notte again.

Finally came across this cozy restaurant. Truly a hidden gem food came out quick and was warm, the service was respectful and on the go with their customers. Will be back again!!!

This is truly a hidden gem in Miami's Kendall area. The regular menu is fantastic, but always ask for the daily specials. You will be pleasantly surprised with culinary delight. Items like scallops in a guava sauce, fresh yellowtail in a house lemon butter sauce, deer ribs and kangaroo in a mushroom reduction are frequently available. Side dishes are all great too, try the risotto, a great compliment to any of the dishes there.

We finally had the chance to go here with some friends, who have been raving about this cute little place for years. Absolutely worth the visit! I loved the food, and there's a nice little vareity. The girls loved the to stones, which come with lemony pepper sauce (kinda like the sauce on. Chicken Francais). Sounds strange, but it works! Like a Cuban-Italian fusion. I had the short ribs with champagne risotto which was absolutely perfect. I'd heard it was expensive, but we had 4 appetizers, 4 main dishes and dessert for right at $100. We'll be going back.

Had dinner to night with my husband and daughter. We ordered the tostones with garlic sauce and the special of the day appetizer which was scallops with lobster sauce and cheese, it was delicious! As for our entrees we ordered the seared tuna with guava risotto and red snapper with risotto!! Hands down, the best risotto I have ever had! Since we live close by we go at least twice a month.. It's that amazing!! Love this restaurant so much!

I have lived in Miami all my life and this is the worse food/service that I have been privy to. I ordered one if the specials - snapper- and I can tell you that it was not snapper what I received. It tasted and looked like talapia that you buy from the frozen section in publix. The angel hair pasta that I requested in a light sauce was over cooked with tons of sauce. The service was as horrible as the food. All the tables have candles and our waiter never turned ours on. I had to get up and get a candle from another table. I also had to get up and tell the waitress that we needed our bottle of wine that we ordered. The waiter did not explain the specials well and did not clearly speak English. First time at this place and it will be my last. I don't mind spending money when it is well worth it, but this place is a total rip-off. They did not even offer to take our meal off the check. Went home and ordered a pizza from a local Italian restaurant.

I've been coming here for ten years now. Hector is a great restaurant owner and the food that comes out of the kitchen is exquisite. He has a good wine selection that he pairs with foods. The risotto, filet, guava sauces, braised short rib, wild hog, and desserts are amazing. If you haven't gone order the specials they are the top choices.

We were six we were all bragging about what we had selected to eat. We had a variety of dishes all were excellent. the restaurant is sitting in an old strip mall in Sunset Drive hidden in the corner, dont't let that stop you from a great dinner experience. Even the atmosphere inside the place was good. The service was also great. A restaurant where the food is so good that people want to give you a taste of their dish so you can taste for yourself how good it is.

I have been coming here for years. The food is always great and service is good. The seabass and champagne Rissotto are excellent. Try the calamari for appetizer and the coconut flan for dessert.

The best food, the best service and fantastic attention to detail. Our waiter knew the menu and specials as well as the chef. Any entree can be tailored to your specific desires. It's a great restaurant in every way.

Cozy room. Great, friendly service. Make sure to ask for the daily specials. Burrata and tomato salad was excellent. The risotto was very good and plentiful.

This restaurant is excellent. You can go everyday and there's a different menu to satisfy every palette. Cozy, friendly, romantic, excellent wine selection and the food is Amazing!!!!

We went invited to a family gathering, and they were very gracious in the service and the quality of the food. For sure, we'll be there again on our own soon. The food --quality, presentation and taste-- was in top of our expectations.

We came here with two other couples on a Friday night; the place was half full which is rare, it's usually fuller. Although it is somewhat expensive, they have an extensive menu and everything we've ever eaten here is tasty, different, and beautifully presented on the plate. The servers know their stuff and memorize the numerous daily specials to verbally pass the information on to their customers. Most of us had the grilled corvina fish, which was delicious; perfectly spiced and not fishy at all. One of us ordered a pork chop stuffed with chorizo and cheese; delicious as well. I had a lobster bisque soup which was very tasty, but I felt there should've been at least a couple of lobster chunks in it; this one was strictly creamy. The service is very attentive. If I have a complaint is that it's hard with the daily specials, with all the available options and minutely detailed verbal explanations from the server on each entree, to remember the details of each one and to then ultimately choose one at the end It gets confusing and you forget which explanation went with what. Also our server on this night was a little hard to understand, and he had an annoying habit of swaying back and forth as he was giving us the info, so it was even harder to concentrate on what he was saying. It'd be a lot easier if they drew up a supplemental sheet of their daily "specials" and attach it to their regular menu (along with the prices, which is another issue--they don't disclose the prices of these "specials" upfront, and so you may be surprised when the bill arrives-I don't feel they're really specially priced at all). However, we really like this place and will come back.

Di Notte’s does not disappoint. They’re menu is great and they’re specials are outstanding. Wahoo tiradito with potato & malanga soup. Entrees - short rib with risotto and filet mignon. After apps, we could have split entree, but glad we ordered them. Simply fantastic.

Solid food overall. Good wine list. Sea Bass was disappointing; but everyone else enjoyed their dinners.

We were a table of four foodies and were blown away by the varied selection and quality of the food. Appetizers and entees ranged from venison to tuna poke and hog snapper. All were beautifully prepared and presented. The staff was friendly and professional. We have enjoyed dining at Caffe Di Notte previously and will return again soon.
AMAZING! Hidden GEM!
I cant ever express how much we LOVE coming here. Its always a treat full of surprises. We love the vibe of the restaurant, the service its to the best in everyway possible, the food speaks for its self the quality taste it has it all where it melts in your mouth. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to go I promise you wont be disappointed. anything here is worth trying. we love the specials of the day.. =) <3
