The prices are great, our waitress is also very kind and helpful. Although we waited for 30 minutes but I think it’s worth the wait. Food is perfect, but have to watch out for the portion, it can be too much at times. It’s somewhere I’ll definitely visit again in the near future.

Just loved the different types of pizza and other entree's this restaurant offered. Service was awesome!

Ate lunch there yesterday with my daughter and her two children. We obviously got food poisoning. We have all been sick since a few hours after lunch. The children could not go to school today and I thought my daughter was going to have to go to the hospital last night.

Ordered online and then went to pick it up. We received our order with no hassle and only a 30 second wait!

Fun dining experience. Great pizza, but would have second thoughts on ordering anything with Asian-style fusion next time...

The meals here were really good. Again the cost was resonable. Staff were friendly and polite. Wendy bought the cookbooks that CPK had for sale so she can make their food at home here in Grande Prairie,AB.

I'm from UK on business in SD. Went here for lunch. 2 people, 2 pizzas, $30 friendly staff and the most amazing tasty pizza ever!

I like that you can order a 3 oz glass of wine. My favorite salad is the BBQ chicken salad, and be sure to squeeze the lime over it. Excellent pizza too. Take a cover-up because they are always cold inside to me.

I've been to various CPK locations over the years and what struck me once again when we had dinner at the one at Fashion Valley in San Diego is the consistency of quality, both of food and service one receives. I do wish CPK would get some locations open north of the border. It would save me the effort of making the pizzas from their cookbook at home once in a while.

Our first night in the San Diego area and went looking for CPK which said was not far from our hotel. It was dark and not that easy to find. I did not know it was IN the Fashion Valley Mall. It is also on the second level and the sign is at the top of the mall building rather than street level. It is at the entrance near parking C.

We eat here often while shopping at the mall. The wait is seldom longer than 5-10 minutes. The food is consistently great & the service is friendly & helpful. I love the BBQ chicken salad and their soups. Right now they have a yummy pumpkin cheesecake. We joined their loyalty program & have enjoyed many freebees & money off our bill. Their kid's menu is really nice too.

Had a great lunch here. Service was excellent, food was great and the prices were reasonable.Had a great time.

For being named after a pizza place I have say I have never had pizza here I enjoy. Not enough cheese, too much crazy crap I don't want on a pizza and the crust is always soggy in the middle. The only thing I ever get here is a salad or an appetizer and those are kind of pricey. Factor in the loud atmosphere and pushy staff and this chain I avoid like the plague.

Located in Fashion Valley Mall opposite movie theaters a good location for dining around a movie or shopping. My favorite CPK in San Diego with a nice open layout and fun vibe. Food is varied for everyone's tastes and they dont mind 'fine tuning' what you order. Great value for the price, many healthy options, extremely happy and friendly staff. What more can you say about excellent! Recommend the fried chicken sandwich either lighter lunch duos or full sandwich for dinnertime.

Clean fast and friendly. The variety of pizzas was great. Could have been spicier, but is adequate for the average person.

My wife had margherita pizza. Meh. I had jambalaya. It was okay. Didn't enjoy the tails left in the shrimp. Skip this one.

Very friendly atmosphere and staff, my meal was fabulous, I had the chicken with a green sauce, I can't remember what it was called tho - delicious. Rest of the family had pizza and salad, they ordered 2 pizzas and 1 salad, it was plenty for a family of 4. Unfortunately, they're not very good at making mojito's, it was ok, not great!

eating gf at a this pizza place is close to impossible. however the salads are the right choice and they are good. I had a caesar and it was good, the guacamole was ok. next time i will try the salmon caesar. this place would do great if they offered gf pizza. service was fine a bit generic and non personal.

We had eaten there with our 3 kids...Service is nice and fast ...Kids like the menu...As they also prepare crayons and games..Kids enjoy California pizza Kitchen .During our one week stay in LA ,we had eaten 3 nights...It is not easy to find a proper place to eat with kids ..

The service was friendly and quick. The BBQ pizza, chicken tequila pasta, and Asian salad excellent.

I know this is a chain restaurant, so I wasn't expecting much, but even so I was still disappointed. I was staying about a mile from the restaurant during a business trip, and used one of the food delivery services to bring me some food from this restaurant. When the food was an hour late, and they still had not even had the delivery service pick up, I called over to the restaurant to ask what was going on. The lady who answered told me I needed to speak to a specific member of staff, but when she transferred me, the phone just rang and rang. I was so hungry when I got my food some 90 minutes late. But unfortunately, the food was garbage. And it had nothing to do with the fact it was delivered. There is no scenario where that food would have been good at any point in time. I had some kind of corn dish that basically tasted like someone had microwaved it. I had some kind of deep fried burrito-like thing that was just greasy and flavorless. Then I had a pizza. Now admittedly I really should have ordered their signature barbecue chicken pizza. But I didn't. I tried out their cauliflower base, out of curiosity. But that tasted like stale bread that had been overcooked. Between the unfathomable delay, not having a staff member who could at least update me on the ETA, and the dismal food, this place was a bust. I have seriously had better food from any fast food chain or conventional pizza delivery service. There was not a single thing they got right. The entire experience was a complete embarrassment to the brand.

Love their Moroccan Salad without Chicken, in fact you can have them substitute the chic. for grilled mushrooms. The staff and manager are very friendly. We go there a lot each month.

I think we just got the world's worse server, but it surely ruined our lunch. When we first sat down , the waiter came over and said he would be with us in a minute. He was busy talking to some people at another table. When he didn't come, we asked the lady who sat us if she could find someone to wait on us. Which she did--the same man. The food and drinks came at the appropriate time, but then he left us. We had to find him (again he was visiting) and ask for bread. He never checked to see how we were doing or if we needed anything. When we were waiting for the bill, I had noticed that once again he had returned to his favorite table for more conversation. My husband walked over and asked him if we could have some service. He said, "yeah, sure" but never came and continued talking. When he noticed we had asked for the manager, he hopped right over with more drinks (which we didn't want) and the bill. The manager kindly took care of our bill, but the entire experience certainly left a bad taste in our mouths. Isn't it strange how a great waiter vs a very poor waiter can either make your dining experience delightful or horrible! The food was delicious, as always.

We had a table of 12....it was busy, due to the lack of staff....we only had one waitress...we were neglected as were many other tables...she hardly checked back...the food was good though..the service...NOT good!

Stopped off to have something to eat before shopping - flat bread was lovely and had a half size salad which was more than enough. Service was quick and friendly. Enough choice outside of a pizza if required.

Food is always very good. Service is excellent. Though there is sometimes a wait, service is usually pretty quick once seated. Pizzas are yummy. Soups are also very very good.

CPK is a great family restaurant that is both fun and has great food. If you are like me, chains are places that you only go when you are at home but CPK is one that I frequent when I am traveling.

i love their dynamite shrimp, norweighan atlantic salmon, thin crust pizzas. service and atomosphere inside is very good.

Entering alone..., only 12 guests..., why give me a horrible table for 2 next to computers? Feels like insult. Even to stunned to ask for better table...

It's a nice atmosphere but the pizza was nothing to brag about. Twas just bread and topping...barely any cheese or sauce of any kind....

The food was fine - quick, well priced and tasted good. Being able to eat inside was a treat since it was raining and much too cold in the food court next to the restaurant. The wait was minimal and service fine.

A busy restaurant with a queue is always a good sign! My wife and I tried the CPK and must say we were very impressed. I went for the BBQ Hawaiian pizza on thin crust and my wife went for 'The Works' (peperoni & beef), again on a thin crust. The food was simply sensational - prices reasonable and we still had enough pizza left over to bring home. The service was excellent, fast and friendly and the atmosphere was great. We will certainly be going back again for more!

This place was awesome! The service was excellent and the food was great! The location is amazing as well. The staff was professional and they were very attentive. I will definitely come again. Thanks CPK!

Meal: Lots of customizable vegetarian options, even if it was not in the list. Atmosphere: Good staff service

If you like CPK you will love the San Diego location on Nobel drive. Good service and great food.

The service was very friendly with us henry order BBQ pizza it was good homemade and i order Chinese salad

IMHO (ha! ha!) there are only two places in the whole world to eat pizza - a little pizzeria off the Campo dei Fiori in Rome, or my own kitchen. But CPK does do good pizze. Of my own I wouldn't suggest CPK for lunch, but my friends love it, and they insisted. I was very impressed - a very fine, extra crispy thin-crust pizza with various meats was excellent!

I eat at CPK in Colorado Springs with some degree of regularity the service is always wonderful the people are always happy and the food is spectacular total opposite at this CPK - not only was our pizza burnt cheese brown but the young lady who brought it to our table (not server) then wanted to admonish me and explain how their pizza ovens cook at a temperature that does this to every single pizza - ABSOLUTELY not acceptable - The only person who seemed remotely happy about working there was the young lady who was our actual server - she is the reason giving three stars and not one - will not go back

I always like the food at CPK. It is fresh and reasonably priced. However, even when the place is not crowded, some waiters just serve you the bill without even asking, whether you would like a dessert or another drink. They should retrain their personnel in better customer service. Our second visit was very pleasant and the waitress was great.

After sampling CPK in Las Vegas, was glad to visit here in Mission Beach. Highly recommend the Sicilian

Great place to grab a bite, especially before or after movies. Pizzas are very good. Salads always fresh. Even enjoy the mac n cheese appetizers.

For kids the menu is quite cheap and good size. It’s located in the middle of the mall so good to coordinate a family gathering when everyone wants to go to different stores.

had their works pizza and it was good. The service was good also.

Excellent selection of pizzas and sandwiches. We ordered the garlic Foccacia for appetizer and the Mexican Pizza, Grilled Veggie Pizza as the mains. Everything was great and more than enough for two. Bottomless Fountain drinks as well.

Located in the Fashion Valley Mall, this was a great place to eat. Good service, delicious gluten-free food at a reasonable price, & just a short walk over the bridge from the Town & Country Hotel. The mall is outdoors, but the weather is always mild & there are many outdoor seating areas.

the pizza is great here, but i come just for the avocado egg rolls! most delicious things ever!!! the cobb salad is the bomb too!

Close to Town & County Hotel and Convention Center, friendly waiter, food was innovative and tasty. Varied menu

Great spot to stop before seeing a movie. Good service and tasty food. Nice selection of whiskeys. Monkey Shoulder was on shelf.

Found this place while we were at the shopping mall, nice restaurant with friendly staff. Food was fab with good selection and deals for lunch, had the mojitos which were awesome!

California Pizza Kitchen is a large chain, so the food is fairly standard. As it's in a mall (and just opposite a large movie/cinema complex), it's a casual place for a meal. It was a quiet evening, so we were seated and served fairly quickly, but I've heard horror stories about long waits and being ignored at this location. My pizza was standard but in their attempt to "make it special," they covered it with spring onion slivers which I detest (and the onions weren't listed on the menu). My companions' meals had similar "touches," some were appreciated, some weren't. If you're looking for a typical pizza-kitchen meal while shopping at the mall, this is okay. Otherwise, I would recommend just going 5 miles to the Little Italy neighborhood for a much more authentic and tasty Italian meal.

Like this place very much. Food and service is great. will go again.

I have been to several CPK restaurants, they are usually not great but decent. This one was on the bad side, particularly ambiance-wise. And, for the love of god, don't order the flights of wine unless you like sugar and vinegar.

Great food excellent salad and the barbecue chicken pizza my favorite I really enjoy it I recommended this place for lunch or diner

All good w/ lil complains! Like the nice staffs and the restaurant is chilling and cozy! Love the pizzas, they taste damn great, a little small in size and pricy though! But will go again for sure!

The pizza is indeed great... But it's just as good getting it frozen from the grocery store for 6 bucks. I got the artichoke and spinach pizza which was like 14 bucks it was okay for the size. We also got a cheese pizza for 11... It was small for the size but both tasted great. Price wise I would just go to the grocery store next time but this past time I wanted to experience the restaurant pizza.

We have eaten at the California Pizza Kitchen many times all over SoCal. Good food but a little too expense for what you got. Things have changed at this Pizza Kitchen. Great lunch specials for under $10.00 and I had individual thin crust pizza with pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms. A bowl of tortilla soup with green chili that reminded me of San Fe, NM. Great stuff. Place was full but 5 minute wait and fast service. Great food, price and service. What more can one ask for.

This is a terrible place , staff is very rude we waited more than one hour for the table despite requesting the hostess many times but she did not give us table , never apologized food was also below average . Please stay away from this location . One of the worst experience I ever had in a restaurant.

I go there for garlic chicken pizza it's good. They have the best brownie sundae too it's amazing. Food is a little pricey & parking sucks but it's fashion valley mall so it's always crazy. But good every now & then.

Stooped in for a quick lunch in between shopping. Ordered a pizza and salad. Good service, got excatally what I ordered. Will be back next time I'm in San Diego

This drink...I cannot remember the name of was the most amazing non alcoholic drink I've had! I could've drank 3 of them. Prices were reasonable, guac and BBQ pizza was worth the money! Great atmosphere, great server...friendly and attentive...Chris was his name. Thank you.

The pizzas are good, but so are the salads, pastas, appetizers... LOVE the Tuscan Hummus -- so much that we bought the cookbook and make it at home! Also recommend the Chicken Piccatta and the Chopped Salad.

Yesterday I had a great gluten free pizza and wedge salad. Service was great, very relaxing supper. My only frustration was locating the restaurant. I didn't realize it was in a mall. It is located at the Fashion Valley Mall.

This is a nice restaurant located in the mall. Not crazy busy. Food was above average. Staff was attentative. We ordered off the kids menu and adult menu. Our son was still hungry after his chicken meal, which could have been a bit bigger of a portion. Bottomless pop. Pizza and salads were good but I would have liked to have seen more beef on the beef salad. Would return again.

We were visiting Fashion Valley Mall and we went to California Pizza Kitchen just for a regular pizza. Besides pizza, we ordered Cobb Salad, and, to our surprise, it was simply outstanding, one of the best I've had in years. Pizza was great, but you kind of expect this when you eat at these restaurants. Service? Fast, accurate and very professional. Can't wait to pay another visit!

Great place for kids and family. Lots to select from and great quality of food.

Very nice Restaurant, good service, nice atmosphere, nice menu; visited three different places - standard is kept high at every place - great!!

Nothing dynamic about the food here but the service was good. Very expensive food for Pizza's. I would eat elsewhere in the future.

On a whim, I stopped in for a salad before going home. I ordered the California Cobb [with beets!]and it was delicious! It was the best Cobb I'd ever had. It's difficult to pick out just one element of this salad to praise. The big pieces of smoked applewood bacon, large chunks of chicken breast, the creamy avocado, chunks of Gorgonzola cheese, chopped eggs, tomatoes and assorted spices, with the optional chopped beets. I hardily recommend you add that option! DELISH! My server, Michael [server #144], made sure I had everything I needed to make my dinner complete...offering me some warm bread and olive oil for dipping. YUM! I got their amazing Tiramisu to go, because I was way too full to eat it there. I will savor that over several days of snacking. A wonderful dinner! http://info.cpk.com/images/menu_items/salads/120625_goldsmith_cpk_0329_lores_company.jpg?timestamp=1404274883005

CPK is great because it always has something for everybody. They are also great at accommodating dietary needs. Service is always good and food is great. Great place to go after the movies

We return every time!!! We love the bbq pizza and the Waldorf salad is the best of the best!!! We always share as the portions are very large!!! Kids love it too!!!

We were looking for something fairly inexpensive for a traveling family of 5 on a budget and we got excellent pizza - 2 were plenty to share with 2 adults and 3 kids ages 11 to 4. The staff were super friendly and our waiter even gave us an unexpected coupon that saved us another 10%. We had to wait a tiny bit (which wasn't unexpected). Cost was about $40 for enough food for 5 and 2 desserts to share. That's pretty much a deal in my book. Parking was a little tough since its a mall, but that's the only downside

Delicious PIZZA and drinks especially the Mai tai and very friendly waitress with a great and varied menu. Would definitely come back !

located across from AMC. Have a good menu choice. Well prepared. Well priced. Always enjoy coming here.

If you like wood fired pizza then you will like California Pizza Kitchen. They have great pizza's, salad's, small plates, & desserts. I usually get the apricot salad & a pizza. We share this between three of us. Our favorite dessert of theirs is the Red Velvet Cake w/ice cream. The ice cream doesn't come with it so they will charge you extra, but it is so good and moist. Very yummy!! They don't have gluten free pizza. Get a rewards card to get extra perks you can download the app then log on when you are there & you give the code to the waitress.

Brought in 13 soccer players and families. We're seated quickly on outdoor patio. Attentive staff. Pizzas got out in a acceptable time and staff was working very hard to keep us and players happy. Will return

usually something delish to eat, from soups to pizzas to salads.

Walking in, we almost walked back out from the array of smells. First it was a strong gas smell, but after arriving at our seats there was more of a dirty sock smell. Not sure if they went away or we just got used to them.... BUT: The BBQ chicken w/ applewood bacon pizza (-onions) was great. Artichoke Spinach dip wasn't as good as I thought, needed pepper or something else in it. Tequila Lime Chicken Pasta was pretty plain, only about 5 little chunks of chicken. Not recommended. Should've gone with the Jambalaya pasta. Apple Crisp was GREAT.

After a day at Black's Beach, we decided to have pizza! Not what I went to San diego for, but we were tired so I reluctantly agreed. OMG! The pizza here is soooooooo good! We had the BBQ chicken and bacon pizza and, as much as I would like to, I cannot describe it well enough to tell you how great it was. I would have gone back, but it was up to LA so we had to leave.

Looking for a Pizza place near the hotel and this came up. Good selection of Pizzas and Pastas. Food came quickly and was well presented and cooked

I love this place just wish they would have a better variety for special dietary needs. Service is always amazing and genuine

Great location family friendly environment close to town and country resort connects through bridge in parking lot!

Me and my gf went to Fashion Valley and decided to eat at this place. It was right inside the mall (looks like it is the only independent restaurant inside). The food is good and the waitress was friendly.

We went for pizza but dicided to have pasta instead, which was a good decision. The baby claim linguini was great and I love it. I asked for more sauce and I got more than plenty. We did not need to ask for refills. They came on coming. I will difintely go back if I am in the area.

Casual, very good. I love the salads and the pasta is agreat. Their pizzas are super too. The manager is usually there, so you can count on him for anything.

We've had lunch at the Fashion Valley/San Diego location several times and the food is always good, the service is good. I like the guacamole egg rolls or the Thai spring rolls. Those are both served as appetizers but are more than enough for a lunch. My husband has had the club sandwich and several dif salads which he enjoyed. Never had dinner here.

Great food at very reasonable price. We had pizza and sald. Our meal was great. We really enjoyed it

Generally excellent food. We had the hummus and a pizza I can't remember the name of, but based on a classic sandwich. Real quality stuff. I really don't understand why they don't charge more, because they very well could get away with it. Being in a high-end mall, you will likely run into a long wait at dinner time, ours was significantly longer than quoted, though I don't know if this is regular. The entrance is entirely too cramped and small. It also was loud, particularly because of the open kitchen. The bar sits directly in front of the kitchen, so I couldn't fathom sitting there enjoyably, but I suppose some enjoy that. I really feel they should move to another location with more seating if given the opportunity. The demand seemed much more than was available.

Very generous kids meal, great Thai Chicken salad.

We always find the pizzas at CPK a safe bet, tasty and excellent value for money. Our last visit was only let down by particularly bad service. Although not an overly busy night, we were left sitting for 10 mins before our server, Anna, came to our table. Her greeting consisted of her telling us that it wasn't her table, but she'd get it anyway. I wish she hadn't. All other tables, except ours, got the usual bread and oil. The pizzas were fine, but getting our drinks refreshed took great effort on our part to get her attention. After the mains were done, Anna just came over and popped the check on the table, no offer of desserts. We will avoid this branch when we're next in town.

My husband and I are older so don't normally go to pizza type restaurants. We went mid afternoon so the restaurant was not too crowded and the atmosphere nice and relaxing. We were pleasantly surprised with the food ... liked the option of a cauliflower crust on the pizza. Also liked the option of a 9 ounce pour on the wines. We will go again!

Although this location usually has a bit of a wait as it is within a very busy high end mall, it is always worth it. The food we had was excellent. Really love their split pea soup, and I cannot say no to the fresh bread. The portions are really ample. The wine was great. Service very attentive and good. Like that CPK is always updating their menu to keep you wanting to come back for more. You can always count on a top quality meal and service at a great price at CPK.

A regular stop on our San Diego visits. Appreciated immediate seating this visit. Service was just okay. Didn't see the waiter much and our group drinks alot of water, so glasses empty for most of the meal. But, food was great. Sweet Pea Carbonara was fantastic. Other favorites included: Margherita Pizza and BBQ Chicken Pizza. Butter Cake for dessert was extraordinary. Wouldn't order the pea soup again. But will definitely look forward to our next visit knowing that we can count on a great meal overall.

Not your typical pizza joint. This has lots of healthy choices, and a few unhealthy as well. The pasta dishes are good too.

Been here with some friends after going to the movies. We all had pizzas and shared some starters. The selection of pizzas they are offering sounds very promissing. However, the pizzas were just good. They really weren't bad but also not as good as you might hope they are after reading the menu. Prices are OK, even though I'm sure there are places where you can get pizza of similiar quality for less money.

Good food. Good prices. There were 2 menus - that contradicted each other in price. The staff was not helpful, but 30 cents wasn't worth arguing.

I like the consistency of this chain restaurant. The salads are always good and I like the thin crust pizza's. The wait is often indicative of their food.

I love CPK. I especially love their Cobb salad. It is a favorite of mine. I have tried Cobb salad at several different restaurants & theirs is by far the best. My husband loves their chicken tortilla soup. You can't go wrong when eating here. It's good food served in a relaxed setting while maintaining good customer service.

We've visited various CPK's over the years (we live in Canada, but visit the US often), and this was in line with our other visits -- good food, good service. Shared a pizza (excellent, esp the crust), and our waitress was just great. We took some time deciding, and she was low key, super friendly, and patience. She really added to the experience for us

I have only eaten at one other California Pizza Kitchen in Los Angeles, so I forgot what they had to offer. This place (as someone mentioned in another review) is definitely MORE than just pizza. Given it's in their name, I ordered the works pizza (was rather delicious). Their menu has plenty of appetizers and other alternatives to choose from, all at relatively cheap prices. This one is located in Fashion Valley Mall, and saw a lot of traffic for a Wednesday evening. We did not have to wait for a table, but the restaurant was almost full. Overall impression was good food for a good price. Ordering the pizza I had leftovers with an appetizer, so you definitely get your moneys worth. I would be inclined to dine at another CPK location in the future.

Take my advice, eat the Jamaican Jerk Chicken pizza & be able to tell everyone that you have had the best pizza ever! We stayed in San Diego for 2 nights, we ate here twice, enough said! Service great, atmosphere great, food great!

Just got treated AMAZINGLY well by the manager Ramon. There was a screw up with my delivery order. After fighting with GrubHub for 15 minutes and being treated really badly, I called the restaurant instead and Ramon made it right, simply and kindly. He was so gracious. Genuinely good customer service is a rare thing these days. GrubHub lost my (very extensive) business today. But I've been loving CPK for years and will certainly continue to do so now. Thanks Ramon!

Over priced and worn out best describes this chain. The food was OK but nothing to write home about. The service was lack luster and met the minimum requirements. Fifty dollars for two salads and soft drinks. Did I say over priced?

Fast service, friendly servers, clean environment, great food. Always like CPK, its not just a pizza joint.

Lovely pizza. Crust is good. Great flavor combos. Nice clean restaurant. They have specials with the theater for combo discounts.

Yum yum, Margherta thin crust with Field Green salad can't be beat!

Great pizza and salads, out waiter was spot on and very attentive. If you are from the east coast this is not the typical pizza joint you maybe used to, give it a try and you may find a whole new world of pizza awaits you!

Visiting from Australia and gotta say this place was way above my expectations! The service was great, food delicious (REALLY great shrimp and scampi pizza) and the red berry sangria really delicious. Would recommend without hesitation !

While staying at the Town and Country Hotel we went to a movie at a theatre behind us and needed a quick bite to eat. We found a CPK across from the theatre and went in. A new item on their menu was halibut with quinoa and a veggies, which we both had and which was served quickly. It was really outstanding! Very tender, delicious in a tasty cream sauce and which went very well with the quinoa and veggies and fresh bread they served. We ate well and made it in plenty of time for our movie. Delightful!

Great service - good food! Walking distance of our hotel and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable - did not push but made great suggestions!

My wife and I went to this restaurant for our first time, I had that desire of eating at this restaurant, but for any reasons this was the great chance to try it and we decided to go, after going the the theaters. I just loved it, we got an oriental salad and a cheese an tomato pizza. I forgot the name of it, but we liked it. The service was very good and we didn't have to wait for so long, I would say for about 18 minutes. The price is just fair to me.

This is my third California Pizza Kitchen in three cities, LA, Anaheim and San Diego. You know what your are going to get; top quality food with an extra adventurous twist. The service is set at a high standard. Drink is good, we were in a rush so we didn't stay for desert.

I ate here with my friends and family. The food was good. The service was average. They serve bread with olive oil and vinegar when you sit down. There seemed to be confusing regarding replenishing ours when it was out. We got more bread but no oil? 3 of us drank strawberry lemonade and one of us had an Arnold Palmer. The drinks were good. We had the buffalo cauliflower as an appetizer. I really liked it, a lot! We ordered 4 pizzas and one cedar plank salmon. The salmon was over cooked and dry. Edible but dry, I put some olive oil on it to help. The kids cheese pizza was good and the pepperoni and sausage was very tasty. My friend loved her carne asada pizza, it looked really good. I tried some of the mushroom pepperoni sausage pizza, it was flavorful! I will come back here and have more pizza and buffalo cauliflower! Yee!!

What happened to this good restaurant?! Pizza came cold and rubbery. Sent back and returned Luke warm. Used to enjoy their pizza so much and it was inedible. Please fix it!

The CPK concept is good in part because of its consistency. The trade off is that none of the food seems very fresh. In a competitive environment with a locavore style, I wouldn't have CPK as my first choice, I would just buy some frozen food.

We’ve been to a few of these now and they’ve always been great. Our server was brilliant with the kids and all the food was nice! No complaints at all for nice pizza and pasta!

Good food, nothing special but our server was awesome! Great location, next to the mall and theaters:)

I absolutely love it!!!! The service, the place and the dishes are perfect! It has the best mac'n cheese ever! Wish it had one of those restaurants in Brazil!

Great combos for lunch about 10 dollars - soup/salad/sandwich/pizzas/pastas. A bit small portions, but really healthy and fresh. Friendly and attentive staff, nice atmosphere.

I ordered the Gorgonzola pear pizza and it was fantastic! Very fresh and tasty nice atmosphere! My daughter ordered spaghetti with meatballs and a salad, great experience!!

While they have gluten free pizzas, I got sick after eating one at a different CPK so didn't chance it. The 1/2 salad was plenty for me and very good.

Great service and food, it is hard to go wrong on their menu. I would definitely recommend their classic pizza with the normal crust-no, it's not huge with excess bread. The patio is kind of tiny and they deliver until 2pm!

We've dined at the California Pizza Kitchen in several cities and can always count on top quality food. We had a nicely seasoned shrimp entrée and could hardly finish the ample serving. Waitress was attentive and wanted to please. We were there with two six year old girls who could each speak English, Spanish and French so, they added to the enjoyment of everyone, ordering a cheesecake dessert which turned out to be another ample serving. Nice evening at a nice place.

Looking for lunch on a week day during the holiday shopping season, we end up in this place inside the Fashion Valley Mall, arguably the best San Diego Mall. A short and confused wait ends up with us getting a table. The wait for waiter is much longer. He swings around a couple of times, promising to be “right there”... Eventually we get to order soup, a bottle of Prosecco and a thin-crust pizza Marguerita, the classic! The waiter inquires if we want bread & olive oil, we answer yes and this is what happens next: 1, we get the bubbly (served in huge wine glasses); 2, another waiter arrives with the pizza(which we return); 3, about ten minutes later our original server comes to inquire if everything is ok... Eventually, we get the soup and the bread and even the pizza. The food is great, but the place looks messy and service is confused and confusing (don't know which is worse).

CPK has improved its menu to include "lighter fare" and offers lots more than just creative pizza and appetizers. What made our visit to this restaurant super was a great server named Laura. She does it all - waitress, bartender, whatever is needed, and does so with a smile and a manner that says "welcome." The fact that someone might want pasta, or sandwiches, or even fish tacos does not pose a problem -- it's all on the menu at a reasonable price. If it IS pizza you seek, the varieties, including non-meat pizzas is impressive. Check it out! It is worth it.

We chose this place due to location by our resort and the wait time for a Friday evening. We waited about 15 minutes for a table. Service was really great. We started with the avacodo eggrolls and WOW, they were amazing. Next we went with the original BBQ pizza because we like to try different bbq chicken pizzas. For us, it was just ok. nothing special. We finished our meal sharing the red velvet cake. We usually eat chocolate desserts, so this was a nice change. Overall an ok place: next time we will try something different for our entree.

Sat at the bar for a sip & nibble. We like the bar for it's entertainment value too. Drinks were good, pizza also. Bartender was a hoot!

Me and my family of 5 walked in the restaurant and requested to sit outside the restaurant to eat a pizza. We were told that we could not sit outside with this number and we had to split into 2 parties. I thought this was stupid as they could've combined 2 small tables easily, especially that our family is 2 adults and 3 little children. Anyway, we thought that we just eat our pizza and leave; however we changed our mind. There was a family of 6 or 7 sitting outside together enjoying the weather and their pizza. I could not believe my eyes when I saw the waitress arguing with that seemingly happy family asking them apparently to split into an"acceptable number". When we saw this we just decided to leave. We were not even seated yet. Now, whatever the policy of that restaurant is they should not be so rigid about seating a family together. People go out to eat to have fun together. For them to tell us to split was totally unthoughtful and strange. It's almost telling families with children not to eat together, but the most upsetting to go and ask already seated happy families to split.
Very Consistent CPK
We have enjoyed CPK in four states. Each time the food, service, and ambiance have been very good. San Diego was no exception. Our drink and food order was taken almost immediately and by the time I had finished my glass of beer, the pizza arrived. Thai Chicken on one and the other was all vegetarian. We devoured every crumb!
