This is a huge restaurant on two levels (one upstairs indoors and one downstairs, outdoors). We were seated in the downstairs, waterfront area where at one point in the evening mariachis did play, if you're into that. The menu reads delicious - creative, modern, authentic mexican and the food was decent, however, everything arrived at once (all 7 dishes) and although it was good, it also felt as if alot of it had been sitting under a heat-lamp for awhile and wasn't totally fresh. Also, it's just unacceptable service at this pricepoint to not pace a guest's meal. Our food arrived before our tequila shots even made it to the table. So then we had to decide whether to scramble to eat it all before it got cold or leisurely work through it and understand that some of it wasn't going to be hot when we got to it. They really amp the prices on the liquor here (probably because of the semi-party atmosphere) and the bill was quite high for a meal that took us under an hour to eat. The entire experience left a sour taste because we felt rushed to order a relatively expensive meal and get out. Because of the poor service experience and lack of kitchen coordination/proper pacing, I would not go back here.

If it could be a .25, I would give it that! What a terrible experience and a poor excuse for a restaurant. We went there invited to meet some friends and we’re not aware of how bad it was going to be. Location is good, some nice waterfront views of and nightlife of Brickell buildings. The restaurant has a lively ambience and it was crowded but oh my God… the rest just went down hill. At first glances of the menu we saw items that were extremely overpriced, but that would not matter if the quality and service would have been better. First of all, the service was awful, waiter would get lost for long periods and assistant was rude and didn’t look to help out. The drinks were super overpriced, iced tea in small glass with no warning that there were no refills, beer was not cold and what about a $20 margarita??? The food was not tasty, portions are small and not true to Mexican tradition. Tacos without toppings of onion and cilantro are not true tacos. Queso fundido was ok in flavor but the portion was offensively small. What a terrible experience… paying a huge bill for food so mediocre, not well prepared, cold chicken for the tacos and warm beer…all accompanied by terrible service. Not a place to re visit!!! Do not go there if you want good or authentic Mexican food or if you want value for your buck.

Things started off a bit rough with our server being less than attentive or somewhat standoffish. He spoke Spanish to us which a few understand but our first language is English. It was one thing after another but we still tried to give him a chance to warm himself up to us but it was just okay. Alberto could succeed if he was genuine and kind.

Don’t go if you want to eat a la carte on Sundays! They only allow “all you can eat& drink” Brunch until 5PM (100USD/pax). Disappointing for a restaurant of this category, not classy neither customer oriented

I love this place it was right by the bay and inside it was beautiful. I came here for lunch with my husband and no complaints great food , staff and service. I would definitely come back....

An amazing dinner in a beautiful location. The staff was very nice and quite helpful in introducing us to some amazing food. The Chicharron De Rib eye was an outstanding start with amazingly tender ribeye with a tasty sauce. The variety of drinks was endless and the mule and the jalapeno margarita was a perfect addition. The Pollo en Mole was an amazing mix of flavors, best mole I have ever had! Whatever you do, don't miss the crepes for dessert. We shared this and it is the most amazing sauce! All in all a wonderful experience!

We celebrated the birthday of a dear friend. Food was excellent, friendly service and great atmosphere. We were kind of loud and the rest of the clientele didn't seem to mind. As a matter of fact, some of them joined us to sing "happy birthday" to our dear friend. Great restaurant, great food. Kudos to the GM.

I visited this restaurant with 8 clients and paid the bill of 1300 dollars. The waiter took away the itemised bill which I need for my expenses. I have called and email this restaurant over 30 times. They either claim to send me the bill within a week, or they just hang up on you if they can’t be bothered to deal with my query. Considering the amount of money I spent, I would expect some sort of service

I loved the place and the vibe but is too expensive for the quality and service, keep working on that guys!

Great service on this Sunday night. Food was good. I wish the guacamole was fresh..although it was decent it was pre-made. I would come back. Please do not play the 80s music you were playing.. def not compatible with the ambience.

The Latin young hostess was grumpy and not welcoming . The food was stodgy . Lots of noise and Mariachis , very tacky. The birthday parties were quite animated and happy with all of it. Very miamj. Nice location.

I will start off by mentioning the positives: great view and good ambiance, that's it! We had a really bad experience at this place while celebrating a birthday, the food took FOREVER to come out and when it did, the food was literally slammed onto the table by the server, in addition, the waiter provided super slow and mediocre service, he was forgetful, slow and unapologetic. The food is below average, portions are super small and definitely overpriced. The icing on the cake? The birthday girl's food was not even brought out until AFTER everyone was done with their food and after several complaints. Completely unacceptable considering they include the tip on the bill. Definitely do NOT recommend!

The most racist place in earth the manager ir crazy and she told the GM or owner that we un disrespect her when she was the one told him that we told her the F word when we never did that so unprofessional and the GM not even told us sorry

From the moment you walk in you know that the spirit of Mexico is among you. The smallest details have been considered. The ambiance and atmosphere is authentic and artful. The service is second to none and the food, oh the food! You order anything on the menu and you will not be unhappy. The presentation is just as well thought out as the finest detail in this restaurant. The taste is phenomenal and the entertainment allows you to feel as if you truly are in Mexico. Put this one on your itinerary of “must experience” because it is worth the trip to Miami!

If I could give zero stars. I would. Bad food that is totally overpriced. We paid $160 for two people. The food was inedible. Even the fries were burned. Everything else was raw and served cold. The last place you should go.

There is a lot of dishes that are to die for in this place. Service was amazing, Talia took care of us and showed us the right stuff.

Very professional service. The staff were very fast and friendly during my time. Beautiful inside and outstanding outdoor setting. If you’re look for a high end nice restaurant, this is the place to go.

I guess it's not for a person looking to eat in peace. Butts shaking in front of my face all night due to a huge screen playing videos, not suitable for dinner conversation. Lots of noise, reggaetón blasting and zero space for quality time. It was great food but so hectic and all the men drooling over fake boobs, high heels and 50-something ladies pretending to be 28. Very vulgar and tacky.

Although atmosphere is fun, being met with a $25 valet charge, a drink that shows up 30 minutes after arriving, and a lackadaisical waiter that makes 18% whether he does a good job or not, is what is called in Mexico, “una manada”. Go elsewhere.

The service they gave my friends and me was excellent! Edgar and Javier were very attentive to us. The food and drink recommendations were very good.

Couples dinner. Good service and very good food. Maybe the amounts are a little plentiful. Good cocktail and very good winery. It is advisable to dine in the open part towards the water.

It’s a great place in the bayside market place with a very vibrant and lively atmosphere! Great food and ambience. Bayside market place is a fun place to visit in Miami!

We had good food and an amazing atmosphere. The staff is always friendly. Unfortunately we got our orders wrong twice. But they fixed it quickly.

We were welcomed fantastically and seated in a lovely spot, where we could admire the view outside and the whole restaurant. We were guided through the menu, and the the tips given to us by the director where exquisit. It has been a wonderful evening, which will remain forever in our memories. Hope to come back one day.

Five of us enjoyed Super Bowl Game in the lower level. Food and service were outstanding! 5 Stars to this gem!! If in this area stop in, definitely worth a visit!!

This is a Restaurant with a beautiful nightview of Miami and excellent music choice! Great to go with your special one or with a group of friends for a fun yet relaxing dinner. The food was good even if overall it was a bit expensive. Fantastic location! I suggest to eat outside near the water.

I had the Caesar Salad and the Lobster taco. The Taco was very favorable. The view and the ambience was spectacular. Great way to spend an afternoon for lunch. In the evening when I walk by this place it is always buzzing.

This is a great spot for a lively night! Wed-Sat. they have live mariachi and the food and drinks are great. Its a bit pricey but what isn't in Miami.

Terrible food, mediocre service, and sky-high prices that don't match the quality or flavor of the food. Many restaurants around much better than this one. It's a shame with such a good location there is a waste of a restaurant like this with such poor service from the entrance to the food... never again

Taco was very bad, you want cappuccino, they said it's not ready yet. It's an unnecessarily expensive place. There are better Mexican restaurants and cheaper ones in Miami.

My biggest mistake is that I ordered the sea bass at a Mexican restaurant. It came to the table over cooked and rubbery. I immediately returned it and didn’t want anything else. When I got the bill they didn’t take it off and I had to have a PROLONGED discussion w the manager to get them to deduct the price of the poorly cooked fish. Then I noticed that they charged an 18% (after Tax added in) service which included the price of the $40 fish. They would not remove that 18% either. I HATE when tips are involuntarily added bc then I have no way of showing my displeasure. I should’ve noticed something was wrong when I noticed that the restaurant was half full on Saturday night at 9pm. Stay away from this place please!

*chef’s kiss* This is it. Make it a priority to come for dinner if visiting Miami. Great atmosphere, margaritas and food. Pricier but well worth it. Consider the churros for dessert.

Really enjoyed dinner at Cantina la Veinte, food and service are great and there are so many selections. Next time, we need to bring more friends so we can try more entrees and appetizers.

We were today at Cantina La 20 to celebrate my brother's birthday, the service from the waiter who attended us was terrible, he was not attentive to the table, the food took a long time to come out, and when it did, it was cold. Whenever we looked for him, he was not around, and after the meal, he didn't bother to offer us dessert or coffee. I definitely give a 0 to this waiter's service. The busser's work was amazing, I don't remember his name, but he was always attentive to us.

Just arrived in Miami, and looked for a nice Mexican place to eat. Very glad we picked Cantina La Veinte. Super nice location, Very nice interior, Tacos and langostinos were really nice, Service was fast and good, And our waiter - I believe her name is Paula, from Colombia - was super friendly and made our first night a pleasant experience. Hasta pronto !

Cantina La Veinte was simply a delight to the senses - great food, great service, comfortable ambience, visual candy and music videos to totally immerse you in an authentic modern Mexican experience!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - COMPLETE SCAM - This place is knowingly overcharging for **TERRIBLE food**, $9 bottles of beer, 20% service included on the bill and a waiter then presents you with a machine to add a further 20% on top. All of the food tasted rancid - even fries were cooked in old oil.

My story i arrived to Miami from Dubai 17 of August w Hotel Miami dawn town .. i have to see my friend and Family so everyone decided that we go to Cantina La Veinte for Dinner at 10pm so me i go my self to the restaurant at 5 pm to book the table for 9 people at 10pm the Girl at the restaurant confirmed my table and she Show me the table i like Always next to the open kitchen . I had drink on the bar .. i tepided the Girl 20 $ ... come back 9.45 to the restaurant meet my Friends and family o asked the Girl for tje table she told me Sorry i don't have a table for speke to my manager the manager said Sorry we don't have a table for you so i leave the Cantina La Veinte With my friends and Family to cipriani next door i explained everything happened to me in Cantina La Veinte and they given me the best table and service ...im Extremely disappointed for what happened to in that restaurant Cantina La Veinte

Very good food and service. It is not cheap, but you have to expect that for a location such as this. Wide selection of food for most palettes. Salmon was great.

I really would give this place about a 3.5. I arrived late for my reservation because the traffic was un believable. Something to do with the bridge and art week. I actually left my Lyft ride and walked the last 3 blocks. I had a hard time finding the place but when I finally did there were no seats so we sat at the bar. There are 2 floors and it is loud, large and a lot of action. Margaritas are $17 and I've had better for less. The chips were great. I had 2 other appetizers and the bill was $144 and they add an 18% tip. If you're out to party and have the $ it's probably OK. They seem to be very popular.

This is the scene to be seen !! A lot of beautiful people so wear your favorite heels. Food is great - smaller portion but tasty (after all, you're not going here for the buffet:). The margaritas are flowing and awesome.

The food was excellent . They catered to vegetarian very well . The ambience & service was superb . The live musicians was a pleasant surprise .

Wasn't going to leave a review, considering this was in Miami and we'll most likely never go back, but after a massive stomach ache, I have no choice. First, we went for lunch, and it was awful. In fact awful may be an understatement. We had the shrimp appetizer, clearly leftover from the day before. We both had the steak tacos for lunch, clearly leftover from who knows when, the tortillas were straight out of a bag, not fresh made like the waiter described. The drinks were weak, and again, the waiter, who was a nice guy, messed up my drink order and swore that that's what I ordered, even though I've been drinking the same thing for about 30 years... That was the least of my issues, the horrible food, and it being old, and giving us a massive stomach ache was the bigger issue... Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Not the fastest service in Florida but if you don't mind the (long) wait you'll be rewarded with super delicious take away. This is the place where slow food was invented.

Vilma service was Excellent!!!!!! Very kind persone. Vilma really deserve a rate, she went beyond attending us.

Came here for my boyfriends birthday and was extremely disappointed. Our server,Thalia, was very rude. She did not introduce herself let alone explain anything. She just came by to take orders. When i made this reservation i asked for them to sing happy birthday to my boyfriend when we ordered dessert, and they did NOT.

Amazing food!!! Great atmosphere, our waiter Alex hizo nuestro lunch special!! Definitivamente regresamos Thank you!!

I really enjoyed the evening at Cantina la Veinte. The house margarita is outstanding, both the first and second one served. Loved the atmosphere, busy but not too loud. Our table on the window gave us a sense of privacy and intimacy. Two of shared three small plates and as much as we enjoyed all three it was too much. I highly recommend for two people to only share two small plates. If you don't get to try that third plate that looks appealing you can always return another night.

very good! the cocktails were delicious, the food very good. the fast and good service and gave us good suggestions what to order. the terrace has a nice view

Great Mexican restaurant, good food, Margarita selection delicious and great Mariachi band every night that adds to the experience. Overall night is fun and different from the norm. Make sure to visit the beautiful downstairs bar have a drink by the river and go upstairs (inside) for dinner, highly recommend reservations.

The atmosphere is elegant with a spectacular wall of tribal art. Food is delicious and service excellent. Try the Golden Margaritas!!

I loved it the best place 🩷 it is a spectacular place the food is impressive very delicious and very fine, it is very nice to visit with friends and family

We went here for a business dinner (colleagues & not clients). The food and drinks were all unique, original & delicious. The atmosphere outside (downstairs) was quite exciting: lively music plus a mariachi band. And the location on the water just added to the ambiance. Don’t go here if you want a really quiet dinner and want to talk & be heard. Try this location if you are looking for a fun place with good food (& well dressed people!)

Sooooo we came all the way the down from Fort Lauderdale to Brickell to celebrate our anniversary, we made a reservation on their website at 11:45 pm. We got there at 11:40 and they told us the kitchen closed at 11 because they didn’t have any reservations ???? I’m sorry but what???? I work at the hospitality industry and I know how it works and clearly they didn’t want to take care of us because they were slow. Don’t waste people’s time and money and show some respect for your costumers! The manager Gaby told us that he was not in charge of the website and he didn’t give us a solution, not even a drink for the inconvenience! He just told us: “come back another day”. On their website, open table, google maps, etc it says they close at midnight. What a joke!

The food was very good , as was the service. We were promptly seated and the waiter was efficient. We ordered our meal and the waiter was very helpful with his suggestions. We really enjoyed our meal and the service was attentive without being obtrusive.

This is not my first visit to Cantina La Veinte. Initially, this restaurant, positioned itself as a highlight in the Miami food scene and it was characterized for impeccable food and service. I personally loved it! I visited again on a special occasion, a double birthday. A friend’s and my own 🎂 We ordered several appetizers and small plates to share. The Ribeye Chicharron and Tacos Gobernador that used to be spectacular, were simply ok. The Sopes de Wagyu had less of a pleasant flavor and texture. We barely touched them and mentioned it to the waiter. The restaurant did not care to celebrate the special occasion so, we ordered dessert on our own. In the end, we were never offered an alternative for the Sopes de Wagyu and were charged in full for it. In my assessment, this is not an ideal experience for a restaurant of this stature. My friend and I made the best of it! But we left with a bitter taste. A full charge for a plate we did not touch and no effort to celebrate the special occasion. If you are in Miami, you will have a better experience in other restaurants, including Tacology, a sister property located at Brickell City Center. Why Average / Poor? At $20+ per plate, you have pretty much an infinite array of options in Miami to have a better meal and a better experience.

This is a very busy restaurant because of the great food and awesome vib on the water with some beautiful views. We started with some excellent guacamole and very fresh chips. We were a party of 5 and we had everything from churasco steak, sea bass, grilled octopus and rib eye tacos. All the dishes were excellent with great flavors. You need to stay till around 9pm to see the live mariachi’s who sang great and played awesome.

The Restaurant decoration is on point ! be prepare for a High end Mexican tacos full of flavor and great ambiance , around 9 pm Live Mariachi Music !

Walked in for brunch not knowing it was a $95pp brunch indulgence. It's hard to find value at that price point, but the bottomless Taittinger helped and we left feeling stuffed and Happy! Friendly and attentive service. Pretty airy room on the intercoastal with lots of patio. Food was really well executed smal plates. Pulpo factored heavily on the menu which was all tender and delicious in the ceviche, pastor and aguachile. The crab and churros were standouts!

1 floor is closed where the main place is. You're a reservation and when you get there they send you to the lower level which is no good. Waste of time.

We asked twice , and they still brought us 2 dirty glasses, then we noticed that there were spider web right above the open kitchen, lost my appetite completely and after all paid like 105.- dollars. Terrible

Good option for COVID outside; however hostess is relentless she will not let you have a good table even if the restaurant is empty Very disappointing Thankfully Alex saved the day with a superb service and excellent manners Lovely

Just had an amazing lunch at Cantina la Veinte. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the food was excellent, and beautifully presented. Service was excellent. It is difficult, as a vegetarian, to find dishes I could order but I managed to do so. The Burrata salad was amazing, and unlike any burrata salad I’ve had elsewhere. Some reviews said the big screen tv was annoying, but they had the sound turned off and I barely even noticed the tv where I sat. Only distraction was the blender - they need to move it into the kitchen as it is loud. Well worth a visit.

Magnificent experience of delicious, tasty and spicy Mexican cuisine with top cocktails and music made by a noisy but very friendly Mexican orchestra in this festive setting. We loved everything, including the very efficient service. The prices are very correct . We loved this family experience. To do and do again with as much pleasure as ever.

Seat area downstairs is actually really nice, right next to the ocean and you can walk before or after eating. The covered area is a bit crowded, service intermittent and got a couple of bad advice from the waiter. The food was OK, we tried the gobernor tacos and the tacos degustacion, quesadillas, guacamole. The cheesecake was probably the best and wasnt amazing. Overall disappointing.

This is a tough review for me. We had two different kinds of pork tacos that were unbelievably delicious - really new flavor profiles to me. And yet, we’re talking $23 for tacos! But can you put a price on really special food- you can a bit. The dining rooms are well decorated and festive but a little too much of a scene. The bar area becomes packed as it gets into the evening and it really becomes a scene. The auxiliary things (chips and salsa, cocktails) are really overpriced and uninteresting... and man the bill was big! But those pork tacos.....

The restaurant is amazing, the decor, the atmosphere is one of the kind. The food was really good same with the service. A bit overpriced though but definitely worth a try.

Maybe it was because of Cinco de Mayo but it was a happening and then some. It also has a great location overlooking the bay. We ate outdoors which was great until the rainstorm arrived. It also is a bit pricey, part of which may be due to being in Brickell. However the staff was good in moving our table away from the rain so we hardly got rained on. The piped in music was loud but almost everyone was into the festive atmosphere! I didn't think much of my mango margarita and the guacamole was nothing special (the chips and salsa were good however). Their Carnitas Puerco (marinated port taco) was very good however and put a different twist on tacos. While not perfect, this is a place for a nice Mexican dinner and I would go back.

Walking in to the place, we enjoyed that mariachis were playing. It helped ser the mood. We got drinks at the bar before we got out table. When we got our table, we ordered drinks and appetizers. It took us a bit longer but the server seemed to be in a rush to get our order, so I felt bad.. BUT it was my first time there. So I needed to see what was available. Food, was great. We got guacamole and the crab tacos to start. The crab tacos were superb. Didn’t care for the flower tortilla, but the crab was so good. As my entree I ordered the octopus, it does not come with sides. (It was okay for me since we had ordered appetizers) FYI - music does get loud, but to us it was fun as it gives more character.

We decided to visit this place for my birthday and Mother’s Day (same day) Food was good, the service was average, our waiter kept forgetting our stuff and even they brought the wrong dessert, which our waiter pushed for us to keep that one, instead of going ahead and changing it for the right one. Well, I can take all that I guess. About 2 hours after we left the restaurant, I ended up with food intoxication, and a severe gastroenteritis that put me in the hospital for 5 days and on the verge of abdominal surgery! I do not recommend this place whatsoever!

My husband and I had a 9 pm reservation and we were forced to wait to be seated for at least 30 minutes. It took about another 20 minutes just to get water. We finally ordered food and drinks and that did not arrive until 10:15. Our reservation was for 9 pm. Our server was inattentive and my octopus tacos were not cold. I didn't dare send anything back to the kitchen though because surely that would take another hour. On the way out, I complained to the hostess and was told that she didn't speak English and to talk to another person. I spoke to that person (don't know her name) and it was a ridiculous and unproductive conversation. She was defensive and rude. This was a terrible experience top to bottom and we will never go here again.

Great mix: food, ambiance and service!!!! May be a little pricey but it worths it!!! Food quality is remarkable and so is the service!!!

Llegando al grano: Dinner at this restaurant is excrutiatingly loud, dark and chaotic. It is a happening place, but the music decibels upstairs and worse downstairs, are too much for customers as well as the serving staff. We arrived at 7:30 and you would have thought that the restaurant was a full-on club for how loud it got. As the music got louder, people literally had to yell or exaggerate their mouth movements to be understood. Hence, knowing how to sign would be easier and faster! It is impossible to have an enjoyable visit or conversation without a struggle. Cantina is also unacceptably dark. Despite having a candle on the table, several people, including us, need to use the flash light on our cell phones to be able to view the menu. It is also very chaotic - several servers as well as customers roam around and keep moving from upstairs to upstairs downstairs where the huge bar is located. The bar is large and situated next to many tables where people dine. There is no separation of space as the dining room and bar are connected. There is more: My wine glass came with lipstick all over it. Our server misunderstood what we tried to communicate to her because of the pumping music and language barrier. As a result, she dropped the ball. We tried the roasted beet salad and guacamole, which were both nice. However, we were not able to sample the sopes de pollo nor the carne tampiquena that we ordered because they never came! After waiting 45 minutes, we summoned the manager and he did the right thing by picking up the entire check. Cantina would probably be great for lunch because it's located right on the water, there would be fewer people, quieter, and you could see while enjoying the sun.

I was at bar to take a mojito and the attendant charge me 25% tip, without my authorization. I asked to talk with the manager - Mr. Estéfano - and he was very rude and unpolite ! Never more this place !

We are Miami Beach residents and stopped in this new place for lunch and a walk to explore this part of downtown. Lunch proved an excellent way to try out Cantina. For $25, diners get an appetizer, entree and dessert, all of reasonable portions. And $5 margaritas! (But a tiny glass of ice tea was also $5, and when we were asked if we'd like another, we were charged another $5. Bad form, imho). Each category was a difficult choice because many interesting choices were listed. We ended up with roasted cauliflower with beautiful seasonings and a tiny queso fondue with tortillas for appetizers; and grilled octopus with crispy kale and cochinita pibil (slow-roasted pork) with achiote spices; and pistachio cake with ice cream and (recommended with good reason by our server) tiny rolled crepes with an exquisite cajeta sauce (goat's milk caramel sauce). We also ended up with churros by mistake, and they were excellent too. Everything just shouted authentic. The restaurant itself looks out on the water. But it's filled with Mexican art to admire, including a life-size bullfighting uniform in a frame. (And don't miss the beautiful wooden Art Deco host station.) At lunch it was only a third full and nicely quiet. Our server was helpful and accommodating. The only negative: Parking for the building is $11 for an hour and a half (not enough time) and $19 for up to 4 hours, with no discount for being a patron of the restaurant.

We had an amazing time in this restaurant with a table near the bay. The weather was fantastic. Our servers were knowledgeable & enthusiastic. The evening was thoroughly enjoyed by our party. Every dish we tried was superbly designed and tasty. This is definitely a must-visit restaurant.

It was very good. Was out for a walk and saw a table, so thought I would try it. I had the Mexican Bowl.

The sopes are the best thing in the menu! The red snapper fish is not that good! margaritas are great and it is a great place to hang out and celebrate! If you go for lunch review the bill carefully because it can became very expensive! My friend and I had lunch. We ordered two margaritas; tacos and sopes, one guacamole and 2 coffees. We ended with a $180 dollars bill! We though it was outrageous. Also make sure you don’t pay double tip. They always included it! But it is worth trying,

This is a high-end Mexican restaurant. You'll not find chips and salsa at the table. Nor will you find traditional Tex- Mex items on the menu. What you will find is exquisitely prepared interior Mexican dishes. The service is excellent and the ambiance is wonderful. My only reluctance.....it was recommended as good, simple Mexican food. That, you will not find here.

I thought I write this review for the few of you out there wondering what is going on with this restaurant… Good or not good? Well, we had the tacos and the sopes and they were very good, Mexican standard good. They are expensive, Mexican standard mega expensive, since yes, we can find sopes and tacos in Mexico for a lot less… Sooo, I have no idea about the other dishes, but what we ate was great. Go, have a cool time and pay the price…. Enjoy!

This Mexican delight is several magnitudes above your local taco laco. Attractive decor and a lively properly dressed clientele add to the ambiance. There are many choices and all were good. The high ceilings limit the noise so conversation is possible. Prices were reasonable for the quality.

I was really excited to have a nice Mexican restaurant close to my new apartment so I went and gave it a try. Jalapeno margarita was not spicy, service was not the best, and mid dinner they brought out this video screen and started playing worst music combination ever. I don't think I will go back.

Very disappointing, Cantina La Veinte has become another typical Miami rip off: famous, expensive, bad service and poor quality. I've been here before and I came back because all together, the food, the unique experience and the outstanding service were totally worth the price. Saturday I had special guests visiting from out of town and I specifically chose Cantina La Veinte to give them a memorable welcome to Miami. First, I had to get up from the table SEVERAL times to find ANY waiter to get us another round of drinks or food; second, the highlight of this place are the Mariachis that go through every table singing songs at your request, for some reason our table was skiped and even though I mentioned it to three different people, two hostesses and the manager, all of them dismiss me without much care. To make things worse, at the end of the night I went to speak with the manager Ramon Ipinza, to let him know in a very polite way that I was disappointed, our waiter was there and he started raising his voice being very rude while walking away and the only thing Ramon did was offer us another round of drinks, unfortunately at this point nobody at the table was interested any more, it was late and anyway we didn't go there for free drinks... I am not coming back and I won't recommend it to anybody.

This restaurant has good food, and great service, but it is really expensive. The dishes are very good, in general, the ambiance is great on Thursday, which is the best day to go. Not great ambiance on Fridays.I recommend the restaurant only if you do not care about pricing.

...ensued when the 'Golden Margarita' I ordered from their own craft drink menu was "not available"? Huh? Its description on the menu looked like pretty standard ingredients, nothing unusual, so I was confused? (and still sober!). I can understand the kitchen running out of the daily food special, but a basic cocktail? Wait...wait...is this the upsell coming? I was assured a different margarita with Grand Marnier on top would be just as delicious, and the same price. "OK, how about "that" margarita without the GM? I generally prefer Cointreau only in my margaritas, and not the additional brandy that comes within GM. Still puzzled, but thirsty, I said OK, whatever. It tasted fine, although when I ordered another of the same, it was prepared differently? Fortunately, the second order tasted fine, just different. Not to beat the donkey on the tahona to death, but it was just a weird ordering experience. Our appetizers were delicious, although there was no danger of getting full on them. The focus was on presentation and flavor, not the calorie count. Overall, our food and drinks were fine, if not a confusing start to it all.

Reserved a table a week ago. Confirmed the table yesterday. Arrived on time at an incredibly overcrowded and noisy place, where a waitress who could not care less just hissed: no table. Thank you, but no, thank you.

Upscale Mexican place, fantastic service, INCREDIBLE drinks, had the jalapeño margarita, AMAZING.... and the food is just absolutely delicious. They have mariachis some evenings, adding that extra Mexican touch to your dinner. Can’t get enough of this place. My favorites are: Vuelve a la Vida (raw seafood garnished with tomato and lime sauce), Fried Whole Fish is one of tastiest fresh kind I’ve ever had, scallops where cooked to perfection, and the churros for dessert are the best!!!!

Pleasantly surprised by the authenticity of the menu, fresh ingredientes and rich flavours, meat is cooked to perfection. One of the best meals and I was not even in Mexico. location is fantastic, service is very dedicate and the drinks, oh the drinks are delicious. I would suggest the Chicharron Gorditas with a cocktail named La Oaxaquena made with mezcal & agave syrup, salty strong and Delicious. Finish your meal with a Carajillo-a coffee shot with Liquor 43.

Went for late lunch and service was horrible! Took more then 20 min for the server to acknowledge us and another 30 min for the appetizers to come out. Once done with the appetizers we never saw our server again so I couldn’t even order the entrees... it would have been another 30 min or more. I was really hoping to have a great time because I live next door but I’m afraid I’ll never be back again! The cherry on top was the tip included in my bill when the service was not to my expectations!

Noisy restaurant ( Mariachi included ) , on two levels , in a nice waterfront location in Brickell. The food ( allegedly Mexican ) is terrible , service bad . Not worth a visit .

What a night. Food is incredible, ambiance and views are magical and service is terrific. Highly recommend the Waygu Sopas The flavor and portion is very good. I do not recommend the cauliflower it was not good and they used a peanut sauce and peanuts didn’t really go with rest of dinner. Guac is great. Chips are really good and fresh Service is 5 stars. Thank you Theo!

Well, I'm still waiting for that 0-star option... If you see my history I had reviewed this place before with 5 stars. now if I could give a cero I would. As you arrive at the door that now has two securities and a very bad attitude hostess or manager you know things aren't the same when you used to be welcome with smile and class. They let you in with a rude attitude and giving you a wristband like you are in an all-inclusive resort in Mexico. From the entrance you see two ambiances divided with people having dinner in a very loud space and everyone else. you cannot go down you cannot sit you cannot breathe, you can only accept a cheap margarita on the house because is "Ladies Night". Because I have been a day one customer of this place I found my way to go downstairs using the service elevator because the stairs were blocked by another security. when I arrived at the downstairs location that used to be my favorite where you could have some drinks while listening to amazing music in front of the Miami water breeze, I found a horror movie where the bathroom had a no a/c and had a very bad smell and it was so crowded that upstairs was heaven compare with this. I went to the bar to BUY a margarita, and I was offered again another Margarita on the house, I asked what tequila they were using and the bartender pointed a cheap plastic bottle of a funny name tequila mix and gave me the look of RUN for your life.... so I order my usual premium tequila on the rocks and paid for it. My friend and I wanted to go to the terrace for a smoke so we started walking that way or trying because the traffic was bumper to bumper... and as we arrived at the terrace to sit and smoke and maybe have some food as we used to do before we found another security that informed us that the terrace was for bottle service only, we asked where could we sit and have our drink or eat something and he told us upstairs... we started walking around to see if we could find an empty table to sit eat drink and found one but ANOTHER SECURITY came to us and told us that was only for bottle service even do everyone was drinking only cheap margaritas... we started our way out and all I could see was a structure that was made for a fancy restaurant bar converted in a cheap Miami club with girls getting drunk of the promise of free margaritas on a ladies night celebration, and I couldn't help thinking...is this how you appreciate ladies? by giving the cheap cocktails that might give them the worse hangover of their life, and by giving them absolutely no space to sit and relax or even eat something? This sounds to me as a LADIE’S NIGHTMARE... We left not before being stopped in the exit door by another security that made us leave our drinks in a table because we couldn’t take them out and as left all, I could think was. Everything in this place was made with so much class and excellent taste. the plates, the silverware, the walls, the celling the chairs they are custom made and so beautiful but like in the movie Titanic... Luxury in the middle of chaos.

Well, I don’t even know where to start this review, it went from bad to worse. We visited this place a day before the 4th of July, on our way to another restaurant this place was recommended from our uber diver so we decided to give it a try. When we walked in i was impressed with the place.. so beautiful and good ambiance.. anywho…. When we walked in to the place and ask the host for a table, she told us that there was a wait.. we asked her if is ok to wait at the bar and have drinks and some appetizers and get a table later for dinner. and she said yes… 5 minutes later we decided to put our names on the list for a table because the mariachi started to play….. restaurant was at 75% capacity.. I went to ask the host to put us on the list and she was the most rude person ever… she starting to yell that we were already at the bar. Well she got so upset because of that…but all mad and everything but she put us on the wait list…we started to order some drinks and appetizers at the bar while we waited for out table, 15 mins later I received a text “please see host” very nicely I went to see the host again.. and OMG.. she was already in level 5 of upsetness… she asked why we wanted a table if we already order appetizers at the bar.. and her nasty attitude was escalating more and more“ well I found a table for you she said so I said o thank you very much.. she told me to go downstairs and look for someone to assign us the table.. at this point attitude and rudeness was now at level 10.. I felt very uncomfortable.. I went back to the bar to my friends and told them what happened… so one of my friends went to talk to the her again ( he was not as nice as I was) he asked her what the problem was .. and her response was the same… why you want a table of you are already at the bar.. my friend was getting upset and told her “ I want a table I don’t see what is the problem”( by the time restaurant was like at 40% capacity).. we’ll finally we were moved to a table close to the bar.. and the host kept talking to the other girls and they all looking at us and laughing so uncomfortable and unprofessional. And then later another problem with the girl at the bar.. she got so mad because we were moving to a table.. she even stop talking to us… we were asked to close the tab and we closed it… when she saw the tip my friend left her she went to the table to thanks us.. so unprofessional and so fake… I get mad just remembering. Personally I think this type of restaurant should be mire careful when training staff.. specially FOH to prevent or to handle this kind of situations much better. We work for the restaurant industry and receive this kind of behavior is unacceptable.. I’ve trained FOH for more than 10 years and this situation was a lack of customer service training. The place overall beautiful….the food and drinks really good.. but this review is for the poor customer service we received from the host and the later from the girl at the bar…

We went to celebrate my friends birthday the waiter was very serious and had a major attitude. we decided to call the manager I believe his name was Luis he came to the table with a floral, colorful jacket. and told us to pay and go we didn’t even get to sing my friend Happy birthday.

We sat at the lower level bar with my friend. When we returned back I too of my pants and saw that it was stained all around. What is this? Did you guys just got the chairs painted by your waiters??? Won’t ever go there, my 350 USD pans now are trash.

1st visit the service and food was better. The 2nd visit today the service was poor, the hostess was rude and even the mariachis weren’t as friendly. The food was okay nothing that I would grave to eat. The experience was okay. The margaritas were so-so therefore nothing that I would do again. Delete……

The food was excellent! Unfortunately, the waitress tried to play us since she knew we were visiting from out of state. After closing out our bill, with a 20% tip already included, she tried to explain to us that none of the tip goes to her and that we needed to include more for her. I felt bad for her because it was really pathetic. I gave her an extra $10. I hope the manager/owner sees this post and has a talk with all of the servers. Stop trying to rip people off. Once again, pathetic.

We arrived before closing time.We seated down in a table that wasn’t cleaned yet, waited for 30 min, no one came so I decided to call the waiter. Asked him if he could clean the table and if we could get some one to take our order. The response was no sorry, we closed 10 min ago. We decided to stay because we were having a short business meeting and we would be done in 20 minutes anyways. 15 min later someone came to kick us out because they we’re closed, even though other tables were still occupied it seemed that the possibility of being able to order something disturbed them. They did everything they could so we wouldn’t event think of ever coming back again.

This restaurant is a feast for the eyes as well as appetite, Great Vibe, beautiful bar. The King Crab with cilantro cream was spectacular as well as the Spicy Shrimp and Seared Scallps with mushroom and truffle entrees.

They had 50% off ALL DRINKS- and then rebuffed after we ordered and said they meant to say well drinks even though the sign says ALL drinks. The food quality has really gone down over the last year- I think the general manager changed- the place used to be amazing but Luis is running it into the ground. Sad.

Greasy and low quality food. Too expensive for the quality and food they serve. Surely it was good in some form but it is no longer.

Lively buzzy restaurant/ bar on the waterfront. Modern take on Mex food. Plenty of choice, we went for the sharing plates to start, good size for 3 of us. Seafood steaks and rice based dishes all were good.

A place with terrible service and terrible food. I tried the grilled octopus and it was more of a fatty octopus. I ordered a passion fruit margarita and it looked extremely bad. The place takes advantage of the view it has, because it is really the only thing I went there for but the truth is I was tremendously disappointed. In addition to the terrible customer service, the waiters come out dirty and have a horrible figure.

Love the atmosphere with the screens playing the music videos of the songs they were playing. The music was vibrant despite being a Tuesday night. The food was amazing! Don’t let the portion fool you when it hits the table, very filling! I highly recommend the rice with scallops - to die for! The server seemed a bit perturbed that we asked to split the check but otherwise it was a great experience!

My wife and I had a wonderful lunch and glass of wine on the outside patio. Good service with no rush what so ever.We each had a salad which was good and plenty.

We landed in this restaurant by advise of someone that obviously was never there. We were celebrating my sister 70th birthday and though of a nice place with a nice view, good food and attentive service; well apart from the view all the rest was extremely substandard, including the mariachis. They claim to be Mexican but there was nothing Mexican in the food, more inclined to a street fast food. The drink I ordered was watered down, a shock specially when the cost of it was the cost of half bottle of tequila. The waiter and waitresses were extremely rude, and they come around every two minutes to remove the plates, glasses, cutlery and anything that is in the table even if you have not finished your plate. In short, RUN, RUN RUN, find other places for a good night out and do not risk to spoil your dinner. I would give them zero stars but TripAdvisor does not have that option... and of course someone will reply my post with the usual I am sorry we did not meet your expectations, bla bla...

I think this is the best upscale modern decorated Mexican restaurant in MIAMI, just to walk in at evening is a good experience, the bar has a fantastic collection of Tequilas with great variety of fine tequilas that make a connoisseur envious... We reserve a table for 4 people and and were seated fast and offered a variety of seating options (a/c or first floor bay view) all nice and well serviced, selected a variaty of Tequilas with "banderita" presentation of lemon and sangrita (fantastic), we decided for dinner a selection of entrees with more tequilas, our waitress was super friendly very charm and even offer me a free taste of very expensive Tequila (+$58 a shot) The final touch of the night a Mariachi that walk among the tables taking songs and enriching the restaurant vibe!, Love it and will go back!

"Definitely one of the best Mexican restaurant I ve been to! Food, Staff, Environment,Location, etc all 10 out of 10. If your in downtown Miami area, I highly you recommend you stop by here for a delicious bite! Thank you staff @ Cantina la veinte for making my wife's bday dinner a memorable one!!!" -AntonioLopezJr

I booked a table for a birthday celebration. The service is fine but the food is mediocre, just ridiculous for two uncooked zucchini and yellow squash to pay $30. We went there ONLY for the mariachi, who are just AMAZING!!!!!!. Ordered ...whatever...just to wait for them to start performing from 9 pm till 11. I hated to pay for the disgusting food but I loved the mariachi who sang song for my birthday boy. In general don't go there hungry because you will not get ANYTHING tasty or unique but the mariachi, the ambiance, the crowd is worth it...for a special occasion.

We had a reservation for dinner at 7:45 yesterday, (reservation and time reconfirmed the day before), and when we arrived they told us that they do not have the table available because they had to close a part of the place to decorate it for the Christmas holidays, ( Did the decorators show up unexpectedly and without warning, so they couldn't manage the reservations? I don't think so. They offer us to wait at the bar in an arrogant and haughty manner until a table is available. 1 hour passes and we demand the table. table reserved and reconfirmed, and the person who seemed to be the manager responded with, "What do you want me to do?" We left without dinner. It was our last night in Miami. The attitude and the little know-how of the staff left a lot to be desired. in a restaurant of the supposed category of this one, (at least the prices indicate it). It is not enough that the food is excellent, the treatment must also be excellent.

Great Mexican restaurant in the W hotel complex. It is two stories right on the river walk. Two bars and two different dining rooms. Its expensive but the food and service is very good. We liked the 5 dollar margaritas from 12-5 on weekdays and ladys night wednesdays for free margaritas, ladys only. The shrimp tacos and the fried rib eye steak with guacamole are awesome. It can get loud in there especially late night but is a fun atmosphere.

Friday night dinner. They couldn’t honor my reservation. Finally we got a table downstairs, in the middle of the traffic flow. Server was forgetful. Drinks took too long. The mariachi was extremely loud and I had to shout over the noise. However, the food was amazing and I would give it another try when it is not so busy. They also included 18% service charge 🤐🤐

Amazing restaurant and amazing food, beautiful place and extremely friendly staff. Love the mariachis presentation as well. Really loved it and will go back again ...👏😍💙

Very good breakfast Good price $$ Nice place Good menu Very good service Accept credit cards . Don’t need reservations

Very good restaurant in Brickell, Miami. Reservation is needed to eat there. There are two floors. At the bottom, where we were there was Mariachi music dj. We ate tuna, ceviche and prawns. We had several margaritas and they were very good. I recommend the passion fruit margarita, very rich. The restaurant is expensive but with good atmosphere and quality of food. Nice view of the bay.

The place is really well decorated, appealing, good service, upscale, but be ready, prices are quite steep.

I really enjoyed my appetizer, the roasted corn on the cob. It comes loaded with Mexican cheese. For the main course, I had the rolled chicken tacos — very good. The place is swanky with an amazing view of the water. Service charge is included on bill. No need to tip.

There was a Mariachi playing around the room when we got to this place with high ceilings decorated with hand pick authentic Mexican crafts. Food and drinks were really good and outside seating is available overlooking the bay. Open kitchen and fast service. The staff that took care of our table needs to be retrain in customer service specially our waiter, looks that he was in the military service.

One of the best traditional Mexican food restaurants in Miami. Modern and trendy, they manage to serve traditional food in a very modern environment and presentation. Try the lobster tacos. Tip: parking is not available, take a taxi, Uber or cash for the valet.

Excellent service and excellent food. This is definitely gourmet Mexican. Prices were very fair-we had an appetizer that was $20 but it had 6 small shrimp tacos so the waiter had recommended we split it and it was the perfect amount. Atmosphere was excellent. We had great service so we were going to tip 18%-20% so when the bill came with the 18% gratuity included (that is their policy), it did not bother me at all, just mentioning it so you know.

Came across this place while walking along the Brickell water front pathway and booked for a Friday night dinner. When we arrived the place was hopping at 8pm - packed to the gills with a Mariachi ensemble - the vibe was great. The issue was when the ensemble stopped playing the background music was so loud you could hear nothing! BUT the food was very very good - we had a number of small plates - all were excellent and the cocktails we also very good. Clearly the place to be on a Friday in Miami.

We had dinner at Cantina la 20 our amazing server Hector makes us feel so welcome! We have the tuna tartare mini toastada so good all delicious, the lychee martini just perfect! great environment fun music along with a cool Marichi

We were in this restaurant after Luis Miguel concert and the atmosphere was perfect, like continue the concert, the food and serve was perfect too , I highly recommend this place.

Went there with a group of friends on a Thursday night. It seems to be a trendy place in the Brickell area. Quality of food is not bad but I would say that this more a place to see and to be seen than a place to have a good meal. By the way, cheapest bottle of wine 60 USD !

Absolutely loved everything about this high end Mexican cantina! Food was tasty and edgy at the same time. They were playing 80's Mexican pop which added to the overall experience. Stop by if you're in the Brickell area of Miami. 💯👏👍

I can sum it up in one word Freakin AMAZING! Delicious food prepared to perfection Atmosphere was very high end yet very comfortable Service was outstanding, friendly caring and new what to recommend I wish I lived in Miami I would definitely be a regular!!!

Great service, great food, only wish they would be more economical. I have visited better restaurants with accessible prices. spent $355 for diner for 2 people, with only 2 drinks is quite high

The amibance was ok but quite loud on the top floor and very dark (we had to use our cell phone flashlights to read the menu) on the ground floor. The view is nice but the food was only ok and the price VERY high, especially for what you got. The bottles of wine were around 70 dollars each. The location was not to charming either, so all in all I would not recommend this place.

Unpleasant Latino place. Expensive disappointing food .the hostess was terrible. The location is ok. Everything else is a pass

We were the first time invited to a birthday dinner, which we were charmed by the atmosphere, especially the mariachis, which we decided to bring some of our relatives, the night was a total disaster, we ordered beer and they brought it hot, we asked the waitress to Please bring us a cold jar and he answered that they did not have it and that the beers were all the same. a restaurant of this category with this type of answer ? We asked him to please bring us a margarita which we had to return 2 times because it was water instead , and after trying so many times we moved on to order the food the worst part of the night I had only eaten 2 pieces of my filet mignon when I took a long hair out of my mouth of course was included on my plate right away I asked to be removed that I was no longer able to eat more they brought the manager Larry Delgado who apologized and promised that if we can give him a second chance to change the experience we had .Last Saturday my husband and I decided to try again to check what was previously promised by larry when we arrived we send him a text until today I have not received an answer, practically you have to fall behind a waiter to attend you all of them past running , my husband asked the girl for suggestions the answer was "sir excuse me I’m new I would have to ask" how do you put an employee to work without training? In the end, we asked the same food as for the previous week, the entire order arrived wrong when we informed the man who brought the food, his answer was I will ask the waitress, 20 minutes passed the waitress never arrived and again the food was brought wrong. We decided to close the account and withdraw since it is proven that the customer service in this place It’s TOTALLY MISSING .People there are many restaurants in the area to have to go through such a bad experience.AVOID THIS PLACE 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Great mexican restaurant. Superb insides. They make the tortillas fresh, in fornt of you. really nice decoration. Greta food. expensive!

The decor and location is amazing. The decor is breath taking from the high ceilings, open kitchen, well stocked bar and decoration. The main thing that let this restaurant down for me was the issue I had with Gluten free food. I called the restaurant before hand and they assured me they had plenty of gluten free food. On arrival I saw the menu and many items were marked as gluten free, perfect. But is transpired that even though it was labelled as gluten free it was cooked in the same oil as other food items that were not gluten free. Therefore that is not GLUTEN FREE. our server was very helpful and steered me in the right direction and the food I ordered was tasty and fresh. However it could have been very different if I had not doubled checked each item and just trusted the menu.

I was invited for a casual business diner, but when I arrived, it became clear that on an “ultimate ladies, unlimited margharitas” Wednesday it would be an entertaining evening. DJ at work and indeed a lot of beautiful ladies. Nothing business about it, but muvh appreciated anyway! The seafood was delicious!

Different, high end, Mexican experience. Wygu sopes were delicious. Shrimp and noodles were tasty but only 2 prawns. Not enough. Yucatucan pork tacos were tasty but a bit dry. Good service but very crowded and noisy, especially after mariachis arrived. $18.50 for 1 call drink and $17 for Margarita; most expensive cocktails EVER (and NO souvenoir glass)! Could have taken the liquor hit if everything else was perfect, but it was no where near. Very expensive ($181 for 2 before tip), stingy and disappointing.

Mexican cuisine is one of the most diverse in the world, the combination of ingredients bask your taste buds with pleasure. Chef Santiago Gomez exemplifies Modern Mexican food at Cantina La Veinte. Every plate comes impeccably presented with a modern touch that transcends it, without disrespecting the Mexican tradition. For example, the “Huachinango y Camarones en Salsa Poblana” brings mushrooms and asparagus that combine well, or the tortilla soup with chicharrones, oh! and their unique corn dessert. This opulent, Art Deco style location has two floors and outdoor seating where you can enjoy Biscayne Bay. They have an impressive bar, and an especially large selection of Mezcal and Tequila. Cantina La Veinte also has a huge screen that projects Mexican artists’ concerts, which adds to this place’s remarkable energy. Every once in a while Mariachis will perform live, do not miss out on this location.

I was staying in Brickell for my sisters-in-law bday and we decide to try this place after the Nicky Jam concert. I must say that the place is very nice and on the next to the water. The food was really good but I loved the octopus. Will definitely go back to try other dishes.

Can't think of a reason for recommending this restaurant - tasteless food, dirty silver, unhelpful staff and super high prices. I might have been spoilt by the great Mexican food that is available in California but that still does not excuse the dirty silver and unhelpful staff. Avoid if you can.

Not amazing, but not bad either, just okay overall. What really made the experience special was the group of singers going from table to table performing traditional Mexican songs. They brought so much energy to the place!

This was our first time after the pandemia , we were looking forward to enjoy the experience as before but, unfortunately, it wasn't the case. Basically, the quality of food is just mediocre, not one plate but, we were 6 ot 7 and we all had the same opinion, margaritas were like juice, again, same opinion from everyone who had them. I forgot my Ipods there, 100% sure, brought the case empty, we called several times, sent emails and were told that cleaning was done by another company, that they were going to check... they never called back, they just washed their hands... very dissapointing attitude. The only good thing was the service, Milena, the waitress did an excellent job, very friendly and professional. I don't think I'll be back and the worst part, by their attitude, they don't care!

My experience at Cantina la 20 was really exceptional. From the moment we entered, the welcoming atmosphere, made us feel at home the excellent attention of Odette at the bar and the rest of the staff accompanying her. Each bite was a culinary delight, and I can’t wait to come back to explore more of their delicious creations. Highly recommended.

Why do you allow to make reservations if once at restaurants everything goes different? As per attached photo, I made a reservation for outdoor seating, but once there were no available table. Also, the food is very expensive and poor in quality. The prices on internet doesn't match what you pay at the restaurant. For instance, chips and guacamole 16$ versus 13 on internet menu and so on Never again there.

Celebrating a birthday with 5 friends. Made a reservation a week in advance. As we arrived the manager told us he did not have a table in the main restaurant. We were escorted downstairs no a/c. Thank God the night was nice. We ordered the margaritas and guacamole. Both were great 4 appetizers. The bill was $350. The server was great price was outrageous

What I like? Waterfront restaurant, you must request your table in the first floor of the restaurant if you want water view. Margaritas as very good, I tried their house frozen. What I did not like? EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE for a Mexican restaurant+ they include 18% gratuity in their tabs - just to give you an idea how expensive it is, a house frozen margarita is $20. My tab for 4 people was over $400 and all we ordered were appetizers and margaritas. Restaurant is very loud so you may have a hard time hearing the suggestions of your waitress. Their bar area upstairs looks very nice and upscale, if you are the fancy type you will like it.

We fell in love with this restaurant. The decor and water views are outstanding. They serve top end margaritas with unique tequilas, liquors, and fresh made mixes. The wine list is well planned for the menu. The seasonal golden beet small plate was a pleasant surprise, we enjoyed the multitude of flavors and textures. Or favorite dish is the HUACHINANGO FRITO Crispy whole red snapper with garlic and hot pepper chips and crispy spinach. You have to try it. The fish is so moist and flaky. Mario is an excellent waiter and took care of all our needs and quick to answer any questions. Worth a date night!

Best service in Miami. The most attentive and fun bar in Brickell. The girls at the bar are attentive and very helpful. Thank you so much Dayana.

The only good thing was the cocktails. I had a salad, the salad came without any side dish. Just some croutons and scatter cheese on top. You get that for max. $5 at the supermarket. The tacos were also very bad.

I've been to 5 of your locations and this didn't disappoint. Great location with both indoor and outdoor space. This place stayed true to the vibe at the original one, get a table, get drinks and enjoy the music. You don't go here for the dining experience yet the food they serve goes down well after a few drinks.

Went for some drinks and appetizers. The place looks great and has a good vibe. Service and food are good. Definitely a good place to hit on the weekends.

The locations it’s awesome!! It was our friends birthday we had a table of 11 the service was poor to be honest the place was not sooo full .. for that type of service, we order a bottle of champagne it did get to the table after the appetizers had arrived . I had to remind Camila our server because she didn’t acknowledge the situation I guess (I think so ) . Not to friendly or concern about the special event, my friends birthday was not acknowledged AT ALL !! Even though reservations was made a head of time , no sense of caring or urgency. Food was very good that I give it to the cheff . But bad service ..

This place has a great location on the Miami River and offers upscale Mexican food in a very festive atmosphere. The menu is creative, the drinks are delicious and the Mariachis make it a very fun and special experience. Don't miss it if you are in Miami and looking for good Mexican food.

Food was good and service was nice. They made our kids virgin mojitos and the gauc was tasty. My husband had the ribeye tacos and the kids and I had fundido, black beans, and rice — made nice tacos. Nice decor and view of the water. All in all very good but definitely pricey.

Food was bland and mediocre, drinks were nothing special, but overall it is over priced and management was abysmal. Feel like this is actually a tourist trap that is just dressed up a bit.

This spot is horrible, I give it a 2/10 and the 2 is looks and the view, the food was horrible, the service was horrible, our bill was 600 and it was a waste of money, and the waiter was very very rude

We had booked in advance, but spent nearly half an hour waiting for our table. The restaurant itself is very nice, and the decor very extravagant, with many of the pieces for sale also. We went before Christmas and the decorations were beautiful. Our waiter was very pleasant, however did forget about us a few times. Food was very tasty although quite pricey for what it was! We had the tacos and chicken with rice and the portions sizes were not as expected for US restaurants, however it was very tasty. We had mentioned that it was a special occasion, it was big birthday for me however there was nothing different re the meal! It is a bit out of the way if you are staying on Miami Beach like we are so I wouldn't recommend making a special trip as there are lots of other restaurants higher on the list.

Loved This Restaurant the food was great! Although we did have a reservation we still had to wait an hour to be seated and then we got the worst of the worst tables (one by the bar) and people kept bumping into our table while we were eating. At one point a girl literally sat on our table and we had to ask her to move as we were having dinner and she gave us the ugliest look as if we had killed her cat. Overall great restaurant but there should be more regulation by the bar and they shouldn’t have tables right next to it.

What a surprise hidden under giant condos. Although it has been there for 5 years it was our first Time. Moshe our waiter, phenomenal expert in tequilas and the menu, not pushy and smart. Food we had tacos governador, shrimp wrapped in tortillas then chicharrones Rib Eye, and churro as desert. We are hooked and pla need to take our best friends in a couple of weeks oh and a carajillo coffee. Different from the Spaniards Great place

The good: very pleasant waterfront location and an extremely attentive and helpful waiter who had come from Guatemala originally. The bad: relatively very high prices for fairly average food. That's before inclusion of an automatic 20% service charge with the suggestion that you might add a further gratuity to this when you make your credit card payment. Compared to some of the other restaurants we visited while in Miami (which also trust their patrons to be reasonable with their gratuity based on the level of service they receive, the value proposition for this establishment doesn't make sense, Accordingly, we would not recommend it.

We went for dinner, we had reservations and we were called in on time. The food is good and the service is good as well, but if you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy a nice conversation with your partner or friends, forget about it, the music is extremely loud and when the Mariachis start playing is even louder, but if that is what you like, then you will have a perfect night, and this place is on the perfect location.

Cantina is always a good time. The restaurant has great food and an awesome atmosphere. You walk into the venue and you feel the great energy of everyone having a good time. The venue is decorated with a mix of elegance and homage to Mexico. There is also great music that livens the place and if you go during key night hours, you will be sung to by Mariachis. Don't be shy and sing-a-long with them - I guarantee you will have a good time. Food is also one of the reasons I keep coming back. It is very good for both the price, quantity and quality compared to other high-end restaurants in the area. Food Recommendations:Tacos de langosta, chicharrón de ribeye, pulpo a la parrilla, tostadas de atun and Margaritas off course. If you are not hungry and are looking for a place to have drinks, this is also an excellent option. There are two bars - one upstairs and one downstairs. Great vibes and a lot of fun. Ladies night on Wednesdays is also a great thing to do during the week. Great music and good drinks.

This restaurant is a feast for all senses. The building’s decor has so much to look at and discover. Very sophisticated decor with view of the river. The food was fabulous (yes, a bit pricey) but absolutely worth it for a special night! Along with the amazing ambience is a mariachi band that visited the tables. Highly recommend the margaritas and guacamole with chips.

Service was top notch! Food was great! We tried several different menu items between the four of us and were pleased with all of it. Atmosphere was fantastic, decor great, wonderful views! We will definitely go back next time in Miami.

Restaurant Totally overrated Food that you could make at home with a higher price than it should be 👎🏻

Words don’t do justice for the taste of our meals last night. Our taste buds were exploding and we were smiling throughout our meals. We aren’t ‘foodies’ so I can’t offer an intellectual description of our meals. All I know is that we thoroughly enjoyed it. Reading reviews below, I agree that the service wasn’t very good. It was also disappointing to be jammed in the middle of the room right next to a large group when there was ample seating elsewhere. I don’t know why they did that and my chair was bumping into the man behind me. I would have offered five stars if the service was friendlier and they spaced out their guests. It wasn’t busy so this would have been a very easy, pragmatic way to enable guests to dine in peace. But back to the food - you need to try the pork burritos and chocolate cake. Mmmmmmmmm :-)

It's a great place that celebrates great food, art, culture and music. I had a Ceasar salad and grilled Octopus and and they were mouthwatering..then I tried Tres Leches for dessert...and it was Excellent! It's a little expensive but worth it. with great views of the ocean, the lively ambiance, and the upscale Artwork.and designs...I have never seen any place else like this place. Its worth every penny! :)
Disappointed
Service was not good, this restaurant offered a wine on the list and server tried to give us a cheaper version of the wine for the same higher price we found this action dishonest. Also the wine list is not updated. The food is too mediocre for the outrageous price. We are never coming back here.
