All my friends' dinners were excellent.

11/19/2025. The rigatoni w/ bolognaise was al dente, balanced, and very tasteful. The service was thoughtful and friendly.

Carama

By TerrasTravels |

I was working a tradeshow at Mandalay Bay and my client took me out to eat here. There were six of us total. This place was really good!. Service was top notch, I felt like we had three servers. There was a girl that came over with a whole liquor bar...Jonathan and Luciano were stupendous! I had the filet. It was so good! Others had the New York strip steak, pizza, carrots, broccoli, canoli, and the lemon dessert which is really cool because they bring over a whole basket of lemons and you choose which one you think is the dessert.... Super fun! And super good!

Carama 3950 S Las Vegas Blvd Las Vegas, Nevada

By C J |

The food was good, but the service was very slow. We waited forever for them to take our order. If you want to sit there for a couple of hours and are in no rush this is the place to go. I had to ask numerous times for refills on our beverages. Lots of employees but no one is in a hurry when it comes to service. I expect better for a fine dining experience.

VERY Noisy

The service was very good. The pasta seemed to have been “sitting” for a while. It was extremely difficult to have a conversation due to the general noise. Coming out of the restaurant into the casino area actually felt quiet.

Carama - excellent dining experience!

By M K H |

Carama is a wonderful dining experience with delicious food and wonderful service! I enjoyed the restaurant so much that I had dinner there two different nights during my Las Vegas stay. The Caesar salad was the best version I’ve ever had followed by the chicken saltimboca, which was so delicious, I ordered that same entrée both nights. If you have room for dessert & like lemon, the Amalfi 'Lemon Illusion' Cake with lemon curd is a beautiful presentation & over the top delicious. All the staff were friendly and customer focused. My servers Cinnamon & Ryan were excellent. Cinnamon is especially passionate about the restaurant history & Wolfgang’s vision for the customer experience. Carama will be my first choice when dining in Las Vegas.

Delicious food, outstanding service

By Georgene F |

My daughter and I had a lovely dining experience here before the Michael Jackson show. The restaurant is beautiful- elegant without being stuffy, the food was delicious, timed perfectly, and the pasta dishes were served hot which doesn’t always happen at other restaurants. We split the burrata radicchio salad - beautiful variety of fresh lettuces with one complaint, it needed more dressing. My daughter had the Spaghetti Pomodori which she raved about, and I loved every bite of my Maine lobster risotto. They were not stingy with the lobster- 1/2 of a lobster cooked perfectly laying on top of risotto that was cooked just right! But the one thing that stands out above all else was the service- absolutely outstanding! On our next visit we’re bringing the rest of the family so we can share the main dishes and add the bread service and dessert!

My Mandalay Bay Stay. I highly recommend it!!!

Wonderful experience.

Our meal was fantastic. The food, atmosphere, service is professionally displayed. The hostess, servers, and assistants provide a prompt, attentive experience. I honestly cannot say enough positive remarks. Bear with me since my husband and I did order many items from the list. Let me first say they have an extensive wine list; the sommelier even asked if we had any questions. If you wanted wine I am sure you could select one to your liking. My husband ordered the breakfast stout beer: I ordered the vodka espresso martini. The martini was excellent. Served with a haze of froth on top garnished with a few coffee beans. Appetizer: We started with the bread platter. There are three varieties of fresh house made bread on the tray. Two of them are warm, soft. The third are tall crispy bread sticks. The servers also bring you a dish with olive oil/ balsamic glaze. We nibbled at these throughout our meal. Pre main course: We then ordered prosciutto/fig pizza. It was delicious. The crust was amazing. Light, and fluffy. They will also offer to sprinkle fresh Parmesan cheese. Main course: My husband had the gnocchi. It was a full plate and superb. I had the shrimp linguine. The pasta was cooked to perfection: served with a red sauce, and four jumbo shrimp. Also garnished with fresh basil leaves. To end the meal: we shared the Illusione del Limone desert. The servers presentation of this dish was just as great as the actual desert itself. We would eat here again. Like I said: the food, atmosphere and servers knowledge of the menu items, and attention to detail are great. The price was reasonable for what we ordered. The total bill was @ $175 before the tip. Would eat here again.

Delicious new addition to Mandalay Bay

By Ericka Y |

We had dinner here while in town for a convention at Mandalay. It had only been open a week. Brandon was our main server, and he and his team were excellent. He went over the menu very thoroughly and did a great job answering questions. The food was absolutely amazing. We had bread and caesar salad which was very good. My husband and I split the ravioli and the ribeye. Both were to die for. Dessert was hard to choose but we went with the cannoli on recommendation of the staff. Overall a delightful experience!!

Great dinner

The service was amazing. All fresh pasta made in house! Old fashioned cart was fun! Making drinks table side. Food was great I’m craving my butternut squash ravioli right now!! Also had the tuna tartare …. Meatballs.. bolognese… and veal Parmesan and all were delicious!

Great pasta

By LostInTime |

I went here for dinner on a Thursday night. It wasn’t super crowded although I had reservations. I had the pasta and meatballs. Both were amazing and I’d love to eat them again. The waiter was also one of the best. A great spot.

Great Family Meal at Caramá

By 592alanac |

We are a family of 4 with 2 younger children. We were seated quickly and they asked about theater plans and recent travel- and sped things up seamlessly. I enjoyed the burrata and prosciutto appetizer. My order daughter ate her appetizer of meatballs as a meal, and finished the entire dish which isn’t the typical thing for her. My swordfish had a picatta style topping that was delicious. The service and food were excellent. I would highly recommend Caramá.

OK restaurant in Vegas

Noisy and busy restaurant inside a casino complex. Well-composed dishes, and reasonable service. Probably fine dining ambitions, but doesn't make it all the way.

Great Service, Decent Food, Outstanding Dessert

By Here To Cheers |

We stopped into Caramá by Wolfgang Puck while staying at the W, looking for something easy and comfortable and that part delivered. The atmosphere was modern but chill, and the staff were genuinely kind and helpful. No upselling, no rushing, just good service. I started with an old fashioned made with a 10-year aged whiskey. It was smooth and sweet with no burn really solid, but definitely ask the price before you go for the 15- or 20-year versions (mine was $30). For dinner, Gina had the bolognese with gluten-free pasta, and it was surprisingly good. Honestly, you wouldn’t know it was gluten-free. The sauce leaned heavy on the meat, which I liked, but I did wish it had a touch more tomato to brighten it up. I went with pizza. The sausage pizza looked fantastic when it came out, puffy crust, plenty of toppings, but the texture didn’t quite hold up. The crust was soft, and the flavors didn’t really pop. I ended up just rolling it like a pizza croissant, which was fun but not exactly ideal. Then dessert came and changed the whole vibe. We had the stracciatella gelato, and it was the best part of the meal. They pour hot dark chocolate over cold vanilla gelato tableside, and it hardens into this rich chocolate shell with the perfect crunch. Honestly, I’d come back just for that. Would we eat here again? Sure, especially if we’re already at Mandalay Bay. But next time we might explore other menu items… or just start with dessert and call it a win.

A Major Disappointment

By DrC33 |

I was hoping for so much more. The meal started off very well. Our waiter was very well versed in the wine selection and paring recommendations. She was upbeat and genuinely welcoming. I wish I remembered her name because she was hands down the highlight of the evening. The service she provided was exceptional. I was really enthusiastic about the menu and was expecting something delicious given that this is a Wolfgang Puck restaurant. I ordered a Cesar salad to start and the pappardelle for the main course. The server who brought out the food was a man of few words. The Cesar salad was curiously bitter. The lettuce was bright, crispy and fresh. The croutons were on point. However, the bitterness diminished the what could have been a great Cesar salad. I wish I could say something more positive about the pappardelle. All I could taste was salt rendering the dish frankly inedible. I feel guilty for telling the gentleman who asked me about the dish that "everything was fine" when I asked for a take home bag instead of sending the dish back. I guess I did not want to upset anyone. Blame the Canadian in me. Carama is the first restaurant of Wolfgang Puck's that I have experienced and will probably be my last. I expected the price to be on the expensive side. However, given the price, they really need to improve. I had to take an anti-nauseant after my experience here. For these reasons I suggest eating elsewhere if you are seeking a fine dining experience.

A Great Choice in Mandalay Bay!

By Katie |

This restaurant was a hidden gem. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Our waitress had great recommendations for desserts and was very attentive. One of the assistance servers forgot one of our drinks (not a big deal), and they took it off our bill and we didn't ask. The attention to detail and drive to provide good service here was stellar.

New Restaurant replacing Lupo

By globespun |

The Bread and salad was great, mushroom pizza was a bit salty. The issue I had was the pasta was so chewy! I rarely complain but this was such a disappointment! The waiter was great about it, the manager did bring us dessert and apologized however when I brought it to his attention, his first comment was , " well it's Italian pasta" ( I go to Italy several times a year, never had chewy pasta before) The restaurant is very nice, the prices compared to Lupo are much higher. I would go back and give it another chance. I might have had to high of expectations.

Fab meal with friends!

By Katie Sanford |

Wonderful dinner! We had dinner with another couple, we were staying at the W. Pizzas, pasta, and apps were outstanding! Also the wine selection is very nice. Our only regret is not getting the table side truffle options! Also we ere stuffed, wish we left room for dessert ;)

Overpriced but delicious

By d m |

Excellent Italian. Nice wine list. Expect $100-$150 a person minimum. We were four people. We split two appetizers, had mid priced meals. Mushroom Gnocchi, Meatballs, Shrimp Diablo, all delicious and good portions, one drink each, and split desserts.

50 stars!

By Haley P |

I couldn't possibly recommend this place highly enough, even with 50 stars it wouldn't be enough! Everyone is so amazing there! The Branzino is to die for

Wolfgang Puck - does it again.

By degrawm |

We went here the first night at the Mandalay Bay. No problem getting a reservation on a Thursday night. We were seated right away, staff was very attentive. They had an old fashioned whiskey cart going around making drinks if anyone was interested. I have to say the girl making them was a pleasure to talk to and she made a mean drink. They were perfect. The menu had a lot to choose from we started with a Cesar salad and the calamari. Both were wonderful. Then the main entrée were the Veal Osso Buco and Swordfish. OMG the Osso Buco just fell off the bone and was wonderful with the polenta surrounding the meat. My BF had the swordfish which he stated the Sundried tomato pesto made it - and the man doesn't eat broccoli, but cleaned his plate. We then had desert, cannoli and Tartufo chocolate. I have to say that the tartufo blew out the park - so decadent. Definitely would go here again.

Carama is beyond exceptional!

By Garnerz |

We wanted to personally express our deepest appreciation to Carama staff; Caira the Receptionist, Gianni, General Manager, Darlene, Manager, Kat the Lead Host, David, Eric and the service team and Becki the Sommelier. We come to Carama once a month at least as local residence of Las Vegas because the service and food is so delightful we feel like we are family. We are ever so pleased that Wolfgang opened this restaurant in honor of his mother and selected the superb staff including the wonderful chef and cooking staff that make every evening experience at Carama a culinary warm hug.

Yahh

By SteveRearington |

After some excellent Focaccia, things started to slip. The place was not extremely busy, maybe 1/2 full. I believe our waiter was preoccupied with other tables because we are non-drinkers. My pasta arrived lukewarm, while my spouse's was boiling hot. Water refills came slowly. Honestly, Olive Garden can do as well.

Great presentation and great food.

By J W |

We've only been to a few of the restaurants through MGM so far. The service and quality of food here is on the top of the list so far.

Excellent experience!

By Sergio_G_G49 |

Excellent service... Despite not having a reservation and being a large group (27 people), they made an effort to give us a solution and accommodate us all and serve us very quickly so as not to miss our show. Additionally, the food is very good and reasonably priced.

Good food

By Xamot Tomax |

This was our first time at a Wolfgang Puck restaurant. We weren’t disappointed. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We shared the meatball appetizer. My lobster risotto was amazing. My wife had the bolognese(?). She was blown away with it. The interior decor helped set the dining mood. We loved everything about our experience here and had zero complaints.

Incredibly delicious, great service - get yourself to Carama Wolfgang Puck

By Sherpa786165 |

The food was absolutely perfect. Service impeccable (we had two servers) - my dad was born and raised in France a culinary chef that worked all over New York's finest restaurants and taught at the Culinary Institute of America. So I am super picky about food and this was one of the best meals I've had in Vegas. This is a definite get a reservation if you are at one of the hotels there or want a really great meal. This was my first time at the new restaurant (I did go to the previous Wolfgang Puck restaurant that was there and I remember it being good as well) so I can't claim that they will be consistent throughout - but as a new restaurant - Superb! PS I had the lobster risotto (out of this world) and the other two dishes of hubby and friend were awesome as well!!

A real treat!!!

By Gina K |

How refreshing to have REAL FOOD! Handmade Linguini, Huge tiger prawns- the BEST calamari I've ever eaten- not rubbery, just amazing! Great and friendly service, cozy atmosphere- it is a don't miss!

Not to be Missed! Excellent!

By Marianne |

We dined at Wolfgang Puck’s Carama, which was the best meal we had in Vegas. My husband and I started with cocktails - a bourbon cocktail for him and an Italian red for me. For starters, hubby had the Ciabatta Bruschetta. Two large grilled ciabatta bread topped with tomatoes, burrata and anchovy. Generous serving for two to share. I opted for the Fennel & Arugula Salad, which was thinly sliced fennel, arugula, citrus and burrata dressed with a blood orange vinaigrette. Very creative salad and tasty with the sweet citrus and peppery arugula. For our entrées, hubby ordered the Grilled Swordfish with tomato pesto on top of broccoli. Moist and delicious. I had the Grilled Spanish Octopus appetizer for my entree. Perfectly grilled tender octopus with purple potatoes and burrata sprinkled with black olive crumbles. Omg!! We indulged by sharing the zeppole dessert. Think warm Italian donut holes sprinkled with sugar in a little pool of vanilla cream. Devilishly good. We loved the atmosphere at Carama in addition to the great service and delicious food. Shout out to our servers Ryan and Jonathon. Jonathon was so engaging and a delight. Great service!!

A wonderful evening at Carama

By Katie H |

The service was great. The food was better. The cheese board was excellent. My husband had chicken saltimbocca; it was delicious. I had the shrimp fra diavolo; also delicious. It’s a small thing, but make sure you get the focaccia bread!

Excellent Meal

By JBIRJOO |

We visited after seeing a show at Mandalay Bay. The food was excellent along with the service and great atmosphere. We didn’t have a booking but they were very accommodating and very helpful with my wife’s meal as she has celiac disease. Would recommend this place for sure.

TOTALLY UNDERWHELMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By Howard C |

A meal that was completely underwhelming. From the dry over salted chicken, tasteless veal parm. and an appetizer that not only tasted horrible, it looked like crap. The waiter was fine. This restaurant is highlighted by the name of a dilapidated former chef. Don't get fooled by a restaurant that says Wolfgang Puck...it appears his art has diminished

Nice Mood but expensive

By Carl W |

While you're at Mandalay Bay, for example, for a show or something like that, it's definitely worth going to Caramà for dinner. The prices are very high, but the Service professional and the quality of the food outstanding. It is, however, very noisy there when it is fully occupied.

Amazing, memory making night!

By DayTrip27954039439 |

AMAZING dinner experience! The food was delicious and the service was INCREDIBLE. Both our waiters were so knowledgeable about every item on the menus, They were very attentive, but never intrusive. Would definitely recommend and would go again if back in Vegas.

Carama’s Italian

By Jason D |

Good was maybe just above average. Wine list extensive but little to taste and definitely overpriced based on my knowledge of Pinot noir list. Almost a 400% mark up. I had lasagne. Was fine. 7/10. Buddy had Bolognese he rated it also a 7. The 1/2 bottle of wine we had was not impressive. The bread is not complimentary. 14 for a small sampler plate. The service was okay. Very turned off by the servers constantly coming and taking things, moving around my personal belongings to clear the table the second our last bit was done clearly to meet reservation status. Very rushed. Probably won’t return as there are certainly far better options in the same price range. See my other Vegas reviews.

Saturday night at Carama

By Lori C |

Ok, so we requested Ernesto, thankfully he was working! This was our second time to Carama, and we were looking forward to enjoying the experience from the first time, we were not disappointed! This place is just great, everyone needs to come here- yes I’m willing to share the amazing experience. Jonathan, the manager also came over and did our wine service- we ordered the 2019 Darioush Merlot. To start the evening I had the Agrumi Spritz- the limoncello cocktail and my husband had an arbeug scotch, we had those with the 3 and 3 and split a ceaser salad. For our main entrees, my husband had the swordfish which he swears by- I tried it and it was great and I hate fish! I had the ravioli bolognese- which paired well with the wine. We ended with the chocolate gelato and tiramisu. Our 2nd experience was as amazing as the first time. WE WILL BE REGULARS from now on. Just appreciate a place that has great food and caring , wonderful customer service.

Ah-Mazing!

By Frederick D |

Went to my first Wolfgang Puck restaurant. This one is called Caramá and is a dedication to Wolgang’s mother. A nice surprise was that they had an unadvertised three-course dinner available before 6:00 pm. It was Ah-MAZING! We shared the three-course dinner and the server recommended a Chanterelle mushroom gnocchi with spinach for my wife. She must’ve liked it as she ate the WHOLE thing. Paired the meals with a glass of Wolfgang’s Cabernet from Howling Hills, his winery. Some of the best red wine I’ve ever had. Perfect pairing for the meals. Topped it off with some Tiramisu. The servers were excellent, some of the best I’ve ever had. Such a wonderful evening! I would not hesitate to come here again, and bring friends.
