Just a great place!!! When you're looking for something special coming from out of town, this is the place! You can get pizza by the slice for a super reasonable price in almost any flavor. Our first night was so good we came back the next night on our 5 day trip. The second night we got the Lasagna. The cheesiest, meatiest lasagna you'll ever have. Don't miss this hidden treasure of a place. Tons of value and flavor for almost nothing. Enjoy!!!

This is great NY style pizza in downtown Dallas. A two minute walk north from the DART station at St. Paul and about 5-10 min walk south from Clyde Warren Park. If you're hungry, it's worth the walk.

Had dinner delivered to hotel. Delivered piping hot this was the most delicious spaghetti and meatballs I have had in a long time! My husband ordered the white sauce pizza he said it was OK I think he should’ve ordered a regular pizza. But I gave it a five star because of the bread that came with the spaghetti it was the best!

The Hawaiian pizza and lasagna I ordered for delivery to my hotel a couple of blocks away were disappointing. The lasagna, while very hot, was sloppy and contained little pasta. It was served in a round aluminum foil container. The flavor was average but it did not have good consistency. I was also unimpressed in with New York style large pizza. I asked for light cheese (did not appear that way). The Canadian bacon was not of good quality and the dough was chewy and was not tasty. I would not recommend this for downtown visitors. The delivery was prompt however.

I had not had this pizza since 2011, and I was so excited to have it again. It is so delicious. The dough is excellent. The staff is super friendly. We had a large sausage pizza. It is New York Style.

Found this eatery on a business trip to Dallas. Good New York pizza and friendly service. I ate there twice had the pizza and the stromboli.

Carmine’s was a disappointment after reading good reviews. Greasy/soggy food was accompanied by an angry cook/chef who berated a customer before myself then held his grudge for me? Not worth the time or money

In Dallas for five days this week and ate here three times! Just loved it! A slice of pizza is $3 and most meals are $7 and up but it was worth it!

I love Carmines!! This is a short walk from Klyde Warren and the art museum and is well worth the trip. I've not been dissatisfied yet. Good menu and the prices are reasonable!!

We ordered Carmine's for a bite during a football game on New Year's Eve. We opted for delivery so we could stay focused on the game! The pizza took a little longer than usual since it was New Year's, but it still arrived pretty quickly and it was hot! We also tried to "Special White Pizza," and it was a great compliment to the pepperoni and salad. The crust at Carmine's is just right - not too thick and not too thin.

I enjoyed a freshly made calzone that was delicious and reasonably priced, especially for a downtown eatery. The ambiance is casual. I think the owner served us himself! Established in 1975 and very likely to still be around for your next visit to Dallas.

Employee was rude when I was asking questions about the hot food on the line. He clearly didn't hear the question when I asked because he gave the same answer to three different questions. Then made a comment as I was leaving the restaurant

I grew up in NYC as an Italian/American and stumbled to Carmine's for a pizza before the Shen Yun performance nearby. It was a pleasant surprize to enjoy an authentic pie like I would have in the Big Apple. If you want the real thing, check it out here! Grazie per una Pizza propio buono..

The pizza is good, but quite frankly, a bit on the greasy side. The meat lovers was good. The salads were tiny.

Fantastic Pizza!!! Pizza by the slice. Cool environment. Great service. Very nice. Great location.

Was visiting Dallas recently for a conference and was taking a long walk around the city. Came across this old school pizza place. Staff was incredibly friendly. I ordered a pound of wings and they were HUGE. Washed it down with a Mexican Coke, then had to walk for another hour to burn off my dinner. A few families enjoying pizza and lots of people doing take-out. Glad to see a locally owned establishment still thriving.

My four-member family visited Carmine's for dinner tonight; it was a short walk from the Sheraton hotel, and the reviews for previous TripAdvisor visitors convinced us to give it a try. So very glad we did!! The food servings are very generous, and, although we all ordered different things (pizza, pasta, calzones), everything was incredibly flavorful! Try the Italian Cream Cheesecake! It is a big slice of 3-layer cake with lots of delicious cream cheese frosting! We might just be visiting there again, while we are in Dallas for only two days, because the food and service was so appealing!!

Was looking for a place to eat while in downtown Dallas sight seeing. Found Carmine's and gave it a try. Big pizza slices, all varieties, and reminded me alot of the Sbarro's in many malls. It was good pizza, at a decent price. I noticed that hey have other italian dishes on their menu also.

This is a storefront window cafeteria sort of a joint. We saw a total of three workeres in the place over a leisurely late lunch. One lightly tattooed. The two up front greeted by name a good number of customers entering. Brusque, but friendly. Helpful to strangers from out of town, but obviously most customers are frequent returnees. Appropriately clean - this is working restaurant, not a high class restaurant. My wife and I shared a hero sandwich. It was plently for both of us, and was very tasty. We have been in Dallas 2 weeks now, and this is the bet value/taste so far-

Saw this place and decided to visit. Great choice! Inexpensive but awesome food! Definitely worth a visit! They have pizza, calzones, Stromboli and pasta. Desserts are available too.

Found this place while walking downtown. Had spinach ravioli. Very good and reasonably priced. They have good calzones too.

We ate here after a trip to the art museum. Casual with great NY style pizza and pasta. Adults and kids enjoyed. Nice change from the foodie type places downtown. ( We love those as well, but sometimes nice to just grab a pizza.)

I came to Dallas on a Sunday, I stayed at the Shareton hotel on olive st downtown. I was very sad that all the restaurants in walking distance are closed on Sundays and closed at 3pm but this little amazing shop at first I wasn’t sure what to expect so I ordered a personal pizza and salad which was outstanding. After a long week I wanted a taste of home and went back for more Italian love this time baked Ziti amazing. I have another week here and I can’t wait to try all there amazing pasta dishes. The rolls are super soft and seasoned perfectly

Plenty of good food choices however if you just want a slice of pie they have that too. We just needed something quick and easy and this filled the bill. Reasonably priced, quick and friendly service.

I ordered a pizza with veggies and a side salad. The food was delicious and I would make another order in the future!

My family and I were visiting the DMA (Dallas Museum of Arts) for a special evening event. We arrived early and wanted to grab some dinner before heading to the museum. A friend of ours recommended Carmine's for its tasty and affordable pizza. The restaurant is simple but enjoyable. The owner greeted us and was super helpful. The pizza was delicious. You can buy it by the slice or have a whole pizza made. Stop on by next time you're in downtown.

First time I tried the submarine sandwhich. You can usually get a decent Italian sandwhich at a pizza joint. After waiting longer than one should for a sandwhich it was just ok. Meat was not fresh or of good quality. Second time I got the pizza. It's New York style, which I know and love. Mediocre at best was there's. Low on flavor = sauce, crust and toppings. Plus they gave my order to the guy behind me making me wait. Not cool, pay attention. This place is getting by serving local business crowd. I get it but it's not quality or good. It's not horrible do o give 3 out of 5. May or may not be back if I am in the area. Will never get a sandwhich again.

I've been to Carmine's the last couple of times I've been to Dallas. I love pizza, and this is close to the hotel where I was staying. It's in walking distance and the pizza is pretty good NY style. It's not going to blow you away, but it's good. They sell by the slice or whole pies. They also have pasta offerings. There is inside seating and the place has been pretty clean both times I visited. The manager (owner?) is personable and very nice. They deliver for a minimal ($1) charge, which is an added convenience if you don't want to walk to and from there with your food. Don't expect to be overwhelmed, but if you want a decent pie and you don't want to go all over the city, give Carmine's a try.

Pretty fast delivery and excellent pizza. I prefer the New York style so it's not all crust, theirs showed up hot and fresh and didn't disappoint.

We stopped by Carmine's because it was one of the only places open in downtown Dallas that we had time for late Friday night. The service was great, our waitress was incredibly personable, and the food was good, classic, New York style pizza. They offered a lot more on the menu, including fresh baked pasta, desserts, etc, but alas, we only had time for a slice before we had to run. I would gladly go back next time I'm in Dallas!

This is a very difficult review to write because the food is so good, but the restaurant is in great need of cleaning and a table cloth refresh. The table clothes are filthy. Owner: please replace. Try the spinach ravioli - it is out of this world. You can order is baked with a red sauce. If you arrive early in the day, you can get their garlic knot bread which is very good. Otherwise they serve French bread. The average price for a pasta dish is about $8.50. This location is downtown and is open 7 days a week.

Stumbled across this restaurant during a visit to the art district. Great food, great price, friendly staff, and atmosphere was OK. A little to warm and muggy for us. But I will definitely return for another slice of pizza!

I loved their food. The service was good & the menu had a nice selection of different dishes. I would recommend this resturant to folks visiting the Dallas area & wants Italian food.
Incredible Service!!
Last Monday (6/26/23), after a long, hot day of sightseeing, we decided to order some pizzas to be delivered to our hotel. Unbeknownst to us -- not long after we arrived to our room -- the hotel elevators went out. When the Carmine's delivery person arrived, she called us to let us know. Being on the 13th floor, I wasn't sure what to do, but she actually climbed the 13 floors to deliver our pizza! THAT is amazing service, above and beyond the call of duty! And the New York style pizza was very delicious, too. Carmine's even sent us paper plates, cups, and napkins along with our order. You just don't see service like this anymore and it was greatly appreciated.
