We went at the beginning of our trip and have been back numerous times. Just lovely! This cafe elegantly suits so many needs: Drinks and Mezze or full meals, or delicious-not-to-be-missed-homemade- cakes and coffee and tea! Oh and try the Tapas offers and specials before 7pm!! Fabulous art on the walls - it changes every month we are told! The staff are super friendly, and gave us loads of advice about what to see and do in the area. Thank you Ally and Isobel Local or visitor, don't miss this lovely hidden gem, in a very interesting street close to other neighbourhood attractions. Enjoy!

We were walking in the neighborhood and stopped for a quick beer. This is a nice neighborhood setting that has both indoor and outdoor seating. Most of the outdoor tables had customers with dogs (water immediately provided for the dogs by the servers).

Good date place.

During a recent business trip to Atlanta, I had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Carroll Street Cafe on different days. The ambiance is relaxed, full of locals and also visitors chilling out in an interesting eclectic space with walls covered with artwork for sale by local artists. For a vegetarian, the veggie breakfast is excellent, especially the veggie sausages! Dinner and lunch was restaurant quality, cooked and presented really well. Most of the ingredients are organic and locally sourced where possible which is great. They can also be made using gluten-free ingredients and there are plenty of vegan options. The service was also excellent with the staff being friendly, chatty and helpful (although not intrusive). Definitely more than just cafe food! The art work is wonderful and don't be scared to enquire about purchasing anything. I managed to convince the owner, Andy, to sell me a painting by a local artist that had been hanging in the ladies restroom for years. Several people have commented on it in my home in the UK :) If visiting again, I will definitely be back to visit the cafe for a veggie breakfast.

We visited on a Monday morning, seated immediately. The food was not that great. Actually pretty bland. Service was very slow, and our waitress was not friendly at all. Coffee tasted like it had been sitting in the pot over night. Probably won't be visiting this cafe again.

Located directly across from our AirBnB address (209 Carroll Street) we stopped in daily for our coffee and snack to go... Quaint, frequented by the locals, good coffee, need I say more?

This is hands-down, my favorite restaurant in Atlanta. I would call it casual alternative dining with excellent food and and always excellent weight stuff. Literally, I love this place. And I have loved it for perhaps seven years now. It’s my go to spot.

What a spectacular surprise. This quiet unassuming gem on a quaint street delivered a meal that was as delicious as they come. Will definitely be back the next time I visit Atlanta. I will dream about those yummy waffles until next time.

I have been here 4 times and it's always a great experience. Today my bf and I came for brunch. We had the chicken sausage omelet and shrimp frittata. Great price for what you get. Make sure you try the cabbage chino. Cappuccino made with brown sugar. Yum. The first Monday of the month is accoustic music night and $5 tapas.

A friend of a friend mentioned this place to me and I'm so glad he did. What an outstanding little spot tucked on a side street in the Old Fourth. Most of the places in the Atlanta city limits are underwhelming and have garnered reputations simply because thy are the latest go to spots among the "be seen" crowds. This place is not that. It is truly good with good service and great prices. My only complaint, if you will, is that they don't serve fries, burgers and sandwiches, but no fries. That's a mild gripe for food of such great quality, however.

A great go to place. Whether it is brunch or tapas, this restaurant is a reasonably priced restaurant with really good food.

On a whim we stopped by Carroll Street Cafe - it was our first time here and we greatly enjoyed ourselves! The restaurant is located in Cabbagetown - a little artsy district in Atlanta. The restaurant has an eclectic menu and a full bar. They offer comfortable booth and table seating. You walk in and instantly feel welcomed - such a great feeling! The food was great - portions are decent-sized and came out hot! It's wonderful that they offer a slew of diet options for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike! The service was very friendly and attentive as well. We'll definitely be back!

Good for brunch however had to wait 30 min for food. Waitress not friendly but at have been overwhelmed with covering so many tables at once. Food was tasty, especially chicken and grits. Homey atmosphere.

stayed across the road. Had only planned on having coffee here. But ended up having breakfast one morning. Was ok. And then drinks another night. It was very busy. An then dinner another night. We ordered a range of small meals to make them like a tapas and they were all very nice. Was very surprised. I can see why it gets very busy. Industrial open type atmosphere. Dont be put off by the plain exterior. It was good also that there was a mixed age group. The locals are very lucky to have this place in their neighbourhood.

Unique cozy place in Atlanta... Gateaway from the city WITHIN the city. Ideal for lunch on a sunny day...

The food here is so good we just keep going back! The wait staff is upbeat and on top of everything. On our most recent trip, we had huevos rancheros, bagel and lox, and a veggie burger - with those fabulous crunchy fries. All excellent. The first coffee round could have been fresher but by our second cup, a new batch must have been brewed because it was fine. Love the laid-back ambiance. Atlanta has a number of great brunch spots but this is up there with the best!

The Carroll Street Cafe is one of my favorite places to go for a meal...ANY meal. Their breakfast is just comfortable, lunch is always high quality, and the dinner specials (plus tapas) will delight anyone. The last visit I had the salmon linguine. It was fresh and flavorful. My favorite dishes include: the seared tuna tapas, hummus, salmon ciabatta, and their basil noodle bowl. All are excellent. Did I mention they also have simply mouth watering desserts? You cannot go wrong with any of the options in the case. Excellent bar and atmosphere. Just go!!!

nice ambiance, and i love how narrow the street is, it makes me feel like i'm NOT in atlanta.

Eclectic vibe in a cozy Atlanta neighborhood. Great service! Food was delish…everyone loved their entrees. Salmon, pesto linguine, filet, curry basil chicken. A must when in Cabbagetown

I love the Carroll Street Cafe for bunch Great food along with a very interesting neighborhood. It is in Cabbage Town. If you are new to Atlanta or have never been to Cabbage Town, you need to have bunch here and explore this very interesting neighborhood. Very good egg dishes and excellent service.

This restaurant is open until 1am, although I don't know when the kitchen closes. My friends and I rolled in around 9-930 for a meal. It was extremely dark, too dark for my preference. The waitress told us the most popular meals, and they were all centered around salmon. I had the salmon sandwich and found it perfectly fine, although not overwhelming great. It came with salad and french fries. The top seller is the seafood pasta. It is located in a cute part of town.

I love this cabbage town gem of a restaurant! We ate there two nights in a row. Sea bass is phenomenal. I also had the seafood pasta with gluten free penne pasta. Delicious! My business associate had the filet. Grilled to a rare perfection! The staff is knowledgeable and delightful. Cocktails are crafted with care. I can’t wait to go back next year!

Cozy, nice wine list, good food. Nice place to hang out for a while and relax.

Nothing great, nothing bad, just really glad it's here. Pretty consistent. Service is super chill. If you're high drama, it's not for you, nor will you be happy with the service. Cheers!

Came here with family on a saturday morning. We were seated outside. Service was quick, food was delicious. Foods ordered: Veggie omlet, pancakes, and waffles. My only criticism was that the iced coffee was very weak. The rest of the meal and the experience was great.

This is the place my kids and my curent husband met for the first time. It is a small place, but the waiters don't act like it. They are very attentive and the food is quick and tasty.

I always find myself driving around Atlanta looking for a brunch spot and end up here. The food is good typical brunch fair and the atmosphere is relaxed. Do not go here if you are in a hurry or looking to pop in and out. This is low stress have a few drinks and hang out place.

Friendly staff and a solid menu make this a great place to visit if you need brunch in a hurry. We have been here a few times and each time is consistent. Great atmosphere for friends.

It feels like a neighborhood bar / brunch place during the day, turns into a bustling bar / restaurant at night. The food is EXCELLENT, as is the service - even when the guests turned from four to 100, service did not skip a beat.

Relaxed neighborhood restaurant. We've gone several times during our Airbnb stay in Cabbagetown this week. Tasty breakfasts - loved the breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. It's a popular coffee spot, you can sit at outside tables and watch the neighborhood go by any time of day. Also a great place for tapas after work, creatively made and very tasty. We enjoyed the dinner entrees too. Service is laid back, prices fair, all in all a comfortable place to have a meal.

Great funky atmosphere, and we loved the food so much we went back the next night for more! Loved the Thursday night $5 drink specials!

Went here for the first time on a quick visit to Atlanta. The shrimp and grits ($10) were delicious with a unique drink special, cucumber press -- only $8.50! What a bargain compared to other cities! Sister enjoyed sausage omelette and another drink special. Drinks took a while to arrive -- after food but were tasty once we got them. Service overall was pretty good, and host was nice giving diners waiting for a table updates, which is great when you're hungry. Would like to return to try some of the other brunch items I saw other diners enjoying.

This café in Cabbage town is fun and funky with terrific food that is well worth going out of your way to enjoy. Everything that we ate was perfect...but the Almond Brie appetizer was outstanding and is a must have.

When the Uber driver said we were almost there and the neighborhood looked extremely rough, I was almost afraid to get out of the car. Thank goodness I would’ve missed a delicious breakfast. The Belgian waffles and fresh fruit are incredible. Stick to the Busy areas around the restaurant and you’ll be fine!

Very cute decor in a super cute neighborhood. We came to this restaurant on a recommendation and everything was just fine until my husbands dish arrived. The Thai Beef Salad! It was worse than airplane food. The beef was hard and tasted like it was old and heated up in a microwave, the greens were soggy and limp and they just threw some mystery sauce to make it seem "Thai". In addition the host tossed a dirty rag next to his drink (we were sitting at the bar) with an attitude of "Whatever". We ate our food cause we were short on time and were really hungry but next time in Atlanta, we would not revisit.

I can't say enough good things about this place! It's a cafe, a bar and a bakery. The food is excellent. There are unique food items. It is such a cute spot! My daughter and I have been here twice now. I had the Chai latte both times. It's super good. One of our visits we ordered the Belgian waffle and the panoramic veggie sandwich. It's so nice there are so many vegetarian options, even veggie sausage. The second time we got the almond Brie, the pear & Gorgonzola salad and the Lox Plate. Everything was perfect. We love this place.

I just finished eating and all I can say is WOW. Our party of 7 was seated after a brief wait which is great on a Saturday morning at 12pm. My waitress suggested the chicken and grits and I am glad I agreed! I ate every bite of the grits, eggs, biscuit and chicken. Scale of 1-10 score is 10. My brother is a vegetarian and he was very happy with his selection! Bottom line.. the next time I am in Atlanta I will be back!!!

loved the unique location, and my salad was amazing, as were the brie appetizer and chocolate mousse cake my girlfriend & I shared. Will def. visit again! also friendly staff.

I'm not sure if it is fair to compare this restaurant with Ria's or Home grown. We went there because the wait on the other two where 1.5 hrs and we were starving. The wait for brunch was not bad and the food was ok, but the service was slow. The waiter had some of our coffee wrong and it arrived after we had already finished our food. I read a lot about the crab cakes and was not impressed. Though their Belgian waffles were DELICIOUS! I do want to go back and try their tapas! They have great specials going on during the week. Hopefully the experience is better next time.

I joined a friend here for lunch. We were seated quickly and service was fine. I was pleased with my Lox Plate but, I had requested a lightly toasted bagel and it arrived well toasted. My friend ordered a Turkey Burger. He commented that the burger was just okay and that he thought his bun was over toasted. He also said that he has had better food there and was a bit disappointed this day.

Brunch menu is like none anywhere I have been before, and in a very good way. Wife and I did the benedicts. WOW! Check it out. A Bloody Mary or Mimosa is a great accompaniment.

This was our first time to go to Carroll Street Cafe for brunch and we loved it. We shared the Belgium waffle as a starter. By far the best waffle we have had in Atlanta. We then shared the Shrimp & Grits and Crab Cake Benedict. Both were great and accompanied with the most fabulous jalapeño cheese grits. Yum.

Okay, it doesn't have the best food in Atlanta-- but I like the escargot, the general ambience-- and the fact that I can get a drink here at 12:30 on a Saturday night-- and it's not insanely loud.

I had the crab cakes Benedict and it was fantastic! I would have liked to have lunch food rather than breakfast (we sat down at 130) but it was still delicious. Its a very eclectic little cafe. They also have many varieties of cheesecake but I didn't try any. I did have a warm chocolate croissant which was fantastic. Well priced and great service.

Walked the east side belt line to Carroll street Cafe for Brunch. Excellent food. I had the BLT special, which was a good size sandwich with a fried egg on it. My friends had huevos rancheros and a veggie omelet with goat cheese. All the food was tasty and the bloody marys were well made. only problem was we had to walk back to were we started! Parking can be a little tricky.

This is a cute off the grid bar that servers great tasting lamb sliders and the drinks a fair as well. It reminds me of the Capital Hill area in Seattle all kinds of different nice people hang out here and the atmosphere is always great.

Only tried lunch so far. Ordered tapas of scallops, crabcakes, pork belly, and the appetizer baked brie. The brie was outstanding, as were the scallops. Everything was top-notch. The atmosphere is urban-homey and the crowd is youthful, bohemian, artist -types, probably from The Stacks. Great lunch spot in an unexpected nook of Cabbagetown. highly recommend you try it!

Another great neighborhood for vegans or vegetarians. There is plenty for the meat eaters as well. I have gotten the scrambled tofu twice and it is amazing. Sometimes they are out of soy sausage, which is a disappointment, but the scrambled tofu with potatoes is always a good warming breakfast. Coffee is always great. It is located on Carroll Street which can be a little intimidating because it is so narrow, sometimes you think you are on a one way street until you see another car heading in your direction. I usually am able to park right on the street, but there are a few parking areas available too. Just another great neighborhood option.

Had a wonderful dinner with some out of town friends visiting for the night. The waitress was perfectly funny and informative about the menu. We sat outside and enjoyed appetizers ( do yourself a favor and order the almond Brie ), dinner, and dessert! Great experience. Great food!

The Carroll St. Cafe is located in Cabbagetown on a little narrow street -- we first discovered it by getting lost trying to get on Dekalb St. --- cute cafe --- nice indoors and out --- street is narrow and two-way --- so be polite and be prepared to walk just a bit Tapas was great ---- blackened shrimp with plantains and goat cheese-fig wraps were incredible. Entrees left something to be desired --- not so thrilling --- basic fare --- pasta, cream sauce, slightly overcooked shrimp -- pretty uninspired Same goes for dessert But the tapas was good enough to warrant return visits ----

Great atmosphere. A friend of mine was broken up with once while her boyfriend schmeared lox and capers on his bagel. Best desert bar this side of Intermezzo.

The espresso was incredible and the pasta was perfect. A little pricey which was hard because I wanted a little bit of everything!

This place kinda looks like a large quaint coffee shop that happens to serve amazing food. I highly recommend checking this place out. We were in town from SoCal, don't have places like this back home.

Always find delicious offerings in a comfy environment. The staff is hot! The food is consistently good. The atmosphere is perfect for a date or meeting up with friends.

Definitely a hidden gem. Intimately cozy, with great food.

I was visiting my friend in Atlanta, who showed me this cafe. He has a taste for a good places, so I had no doubt our will be good. The best thing about this place is atmosphere - it's designed as a artistic boutique, so I've enjoyed being there a lot! I also had a breakfast, which was very good )

Historical neighbor, very Amusing....Artsy! Food was very interesting...and Great taste. Love the Tapas style too!

This is a cozy little restaurant, parking is always hard to find but if you are lucky enough to find it, then definitely go eat here. I usually get their Veggie burger with some fries and to end it some Chocolate peanut butter cake, really to die for. I did notice that only good looking women work here, only men I saw were in the kitchen

We had brunch at Carroll Street on Saturday morning. Menu looked interesting and our food looked good when it arrived. Decided to add an order of Biscuits and Gravy to our breakfast and the waitress promptly returned with our add-on request. However, we were dumbfounded when we received their version of “biscuits and gravy”. Ordering off the brunch menu in a southern restaurant, we expected traditional sausage gravy over house-made biscuits. What was served? 4 biscuits from a tube and turkey gravy (such as Heinz from the jar). We told the waitress that we were perplexed by what she brought, and asked her to verify that this was intentional. She just shrugged. Is this really how Carroll Street Café in CabbageTown serves Biscuits and Gravy for brunch? I contacted management privately to give them a chance to respond before I posted any public reviews of our visit. I sent them an email, but received no reply.

My hubby and I took the kids here on our visit to ATL. We loved it. Each dish was unique in appearance and taste. Hubby ordered veggie dishes and was very pleased. The kids and I were equally satisfied with our meals. Serving sizes were perfect. Cafe Mocha was perfect. No need to go to Starbucks. The ambience was very eclectic and warm. Staff were friendly and laid back. Nice spot!

This is a such an adorable neighborhood spot. Extremely lively on the weekend! You come inside to request an outside seat. We had a lovely server. We ordered the steak and eggs and Cabbagetown breakfast. Very rarely are my over easy eggs cooked perfectly, but these were! The coffee was also tremendous. We wanted dessert & it was mentioned we should go back in to purchase. This was a little clunky. If you are serving us, then you are serving the whole meal. There was also confusion on what was in the dessert case. We ended up sorting it out but the staff should be able to serve desserts to your table sans asking guests to go in and stand in line. Regardless we will be back!

Awesome little café located in the middle of cabbage town. The food is wonderful and offers many varieties and they also have a full bar and dessert case that is out of this world. Watch out for specials on certain days where they are for half off tapas and wine.

Everyone was pleased with their meals. I got the thai noodle bowl - yummy and pretty spicy. A couple people really liked their California cobb sandwich. Neat place and very cozy.Off the beaten track - parking was a challenge.

Went this morning with my wife for breakfast/brunch. Sat for about 5 minutes before server came out. Our server was Maya, very polite and efficient hostess. She brought us water (Vero water in the bottle with actual glasses!) then gave us a moment to look at the menu. I order the Cabbagetown Breakfast with 2 eggs over medium, chicken sausage, potatoes and a croissant (they don't have white bread, only multigrain - for whatever reason that may be!). My wife had the penne albufera with chicken I believe. My eggs were over-easy and not over-medium which is ok since I like both but I prefer to get what I ask for; the chicken sausage was a nice size, excellent flavor - spicy, and cooked perfectly; amazingly and the highlight for me were the potatoes...I'm not sure what was all on them but they were potato cakes, almost looked like crab cakes, and they were DELICIOUS! I could eat those as a meal by themselves. What a pleasant surprise. My wife loved her penne, and I tried it also and though I'm usually not a penne pasta guy, it was really good. Also came with garlic bread which my wife usually doesn't eat but she was surprised to find she really like it. Prices are a little higher for breakfast if you're looking for a quick bite but I must say the quality and quantity of the food was easily worth it, and I would normally take a star off for something not being cooked to order but it turned out ok. Parking is hideous on Carroll St so be patient and prepared to walk. Overall great experience and will definitely return.

I HAD THE CHEESY jALOPENO SHRIMP AND GRITS because the waitress said they were not that hot. Oh, yes they were. but they were just this side of edible so I could finish them. The shrimp were great. Everybody enjoyed their eggs too. we were pleased. WE would go back.

Way, way off the tourist track, but a short ride from downtown. Do NOT go if you are seeking trendy - that's in Inman Park or or upper middle class - that's North. DO go if you are seeking a real-deal restaurant in the center of a real-deal funky neighborhood. The beer is great, as are the drinks and the food is .... surprisingly great! Some reviewers talked about making a meal of the appetizers. I agree, and do frequently when I go. When you are done, and you are looking for adventure, walk up to Memorial Drive and take a right - toward downtown. All kinds of interesting bars and eateries there. By the way, the locals seem to like to sit on the inside but I prefer the tables out front - can watch the world of neighbors walk by on their way to .... ?

My first experience with this is during a walk with a girlfriend/walking buddy. We walked thru Cabbagetown and stopped in to Carroll Street Cafe on the way back to our cars and i have been in love with this spot ever since. This is nestled in the heart of cabbage town on Carroll Street and if you blink, you will miss it. Best time to eat is during the Saturday and Sunday meal times. They have a special weekend menu that is to die for and during Sunday brunch, they have "Mo"mosas that are the BEST!!!!! You'll love it!

Went here for brunch because I saw good reviews on Yelps; however, I will not make a trip back to Carroll Street Café. The food to me was mediocre – eggs were “bleh” and waffles were hard and dry.

I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with my fiancee the day before we got married. The food was AMAZING and service was GREAT.

The food tastes as good as it looks and believe me it looks GREAT! I went for brunch and was very happy with the Eggs Benedict (2 poached eggs on englsh muffin, with sauteed mushrooms, spinach, and hollandaise) that I ordered. It came with potatoes and fruit salad on the side and was reasonably priced with decent service. The cafe itself is very homely and comfortable. My only gripe is that you cannot order alcohol on a Sunday in Georgia! What is that about???

I'm a frequent diner at their sister restaurant, I decided to take a couple of friends to this little jewel after reading about it. On a little side street in a trendy bohemian part of town, the ambiance was exactly that and made for a cozy experience. I ordered hummus, charcuterie and pork belly with peach, all were excellent. My friends ordered the turkey burger and lamb sliders and were raving about how delish they were. The staff was very friendly and on point. I inquired about the smell of something fab, I knew it was some kind of coffee, next thing I knew a complementary cup was in front of me. The best cup of cappuccino I have ever had. I'm gonna be a little scarce at the sister restaurant. This is going to be one of my favorite haunts for a long time.

Prompt, friendly service, great location, lovely food.

My husband and I frequent Carroll Street a few times a month. The food is always consistently good. The atmosphere is laid back and the staff is friendly. Overall all a wonderful local spot to eat!

I have gone to Carroll Street Cafe on several occasions. It is a little restaurant in Cabbage Town area. But I recommend going there on the night they have 1/2 priced tapas. Bring a few friends and try a few of the varieties!! My favorite is the Lobster Risotto - with lots of big chunks of lobster in the risotto! Very rich tasting! And the Caprese Salad is wonderful too! ENJOY!

I came here with a friend on the night on Jan 1. I got the salmon entree and it was amazing. I had a few shots of Jameson as well. My friend and I were able to get a seat at the bar which was nice as well. I definitely did enjoy my food and so did my friend. I looked this place up randomly and it was a great gem. They have a great menu, ample seating and you can have street parking.

good food. quaint location.

I played for a downtown church and hubby and I headed to our favorite restaurant but the line was down tbe block, so we went exploring and found thd Carroll Street Cafe. Holy cow, what a find! We used to live in nearby Grant Park and certainly would have patronized this place, had we known. Our meals were fresh, well prepared, creative, and delicious. We are moving to Tuscaloosa soon and I am sorry we won't be able to explore this menu. I had Thai beef salad and he had classic Cobb sandwich. By the way - those green slivers with seeds that look like bell peppers? Those are Thai chilis. We like spicy food but these were hot enough to cause pain. Just don't.

This is in the funky Cabbagetown neighborhood. We had brunch on a Sunday. Most of the food was good, with basic breakfast staples such as eggs, fruit, potatoes, pancakes, French toast and the like. It was all fine. Huevos rancheros were especially good. The biscuits were a little disappointing. Coffee was acceptable. Service was very slow, maybe what you might expect from a slacker joint. Coffee not refilled except when we were done earing -- not good. Overall, this is a spot I would recommend if you are in the neighborhood. But I would not drive across town to eat here.

This was the perfect little stop for lunch, that ended up being a fun drink, baked brie, and delicious desert! What a cute place with nice staff in an up and coming location. Parking is minimal, so plan ahead. Plan on enjoying the local area and taking in the sights. I ordered a "Bottle Rocket" that was honeysuckle Vodka, lime, muddled strawberry, Jalapeño, and simple syrup. The brie was baked in Phyllo dough with sliced almonds and honey drizzle - it was served with fresh fruit and baguette. We chose a light chocolate dessert that was awesome. They had SOOOOOO many desserts to choose from and it was a VERY difficult decision. Plenty of choices. they looked wonderful. The atmosphere was great, the temperature and sound was wonderful. Not too hot or cold or loud. We never felt like we were on top of other customers even though it's a small place. I would go back and make sure I leave room for dessert (even if we have to skip actual lunch again). I hope this review has been helpful.

Caroll Street Cafe was wonderful. It is in the heart of Cabbagetown area of Atlanta. My friend had the crab cakes benedict and I also had shrimp frittate, both wonderful. Service excellent and I love the atmosphere of the place, very very funky. Some great old photos of old Cabbage town also.

A dear friend recommended Carroll Street Cafe for breakfast, and we followed his excellent advice. The decor is casual, whimsical, and laid-back. The food was good. Recommend the C-Town breakfast with the biscuit, grits, and sausage. Samantha, the Server, was friendly, helpful and attentive. Recommend the Carroll Street Cafe for breakfast.

Cute place. The neighborhood sucks for parking and driving with the small streets. But sure to get there early because it is always crowded. I think the brunch menu ha a good selection but might be a little over priced for the quality. I would go again though because I was overall happy with my visit.

It was a cool little place with limited breakfast items. I suspect their better selections apply in the evening hours. The waffle was very good and fresh with eggs fresh fruit and a breakfast meat included. Service was great. Nice spot to see great artwork on the walls for the interstate! Seriously it is amazingly beautiful!

I’ve been searching for a next level eggs Benedict in Atlanta. Most disappointing was Bistro Nico—I arrived hungry in anticipation of a satisfying meal—I left still starving because the eggs Benedict was appetizer size. Last weekend I returned to the Carroll Street Cafe with my teens and none of us could finish our plate because servings are gloriously abundant. My eggs Benedict was perhaps the best I’ve ever had.

This quaint restaurant has quirky decor with fun hippy vibes. The food choices are excellent with deliciousness in every option we sampled. The service was something to be sought for but all in all it was a fun dining experience!

I love this place. Very cute. Veggie Sandwich, mmmm.

In a unique little part of Atlanta called "Cabbage Town" because many years ago when the neighborhood was dominated by a cotton gin and the workers, when at work boiled cabbages at homes which were all around the gin, thus the name there is a little and unique place to socialize and eat. The Carroll Street Cafe is worth the time to locate within a small, unique street. The Carroll Street Cafe offers unique menu choices and many unique drink choices. Our waitress was very tolerant of us as we took time to read the menu offerings. The atmosphere is neighborly and causal and calming. Side note: across the street, in this unique neighborhood, are airbnb places to rent.

Enjoyed dining out here on a weekday evening. Restaurant was busy but not crowded. Service was quite timely. The food and drink menu was quite diverse. Portion sizes were good and food quality was very good. The only drawback would be that parking would be a challenge given the neighborhood location. That drawback alone would not keep me from returning.

Good brunch.

Carrol Street Cafe is a cozy restaurant with friendly neighborhood charm, excellent food, and great service!

Great little bohemian cafe in the quirky Cabbage Town section of Atlanta. I had the grilled salmon on ciabatta bread. It was excellent. The side salad was very good, dressing made it. They have a nice area outside to eat. Waitress was very friendly; service was good. Only negative has nothing to do with the restaurant. The street it is on is super narrow. At busy times it gets a little dicey getting through the area.

We went here for an early dinner (after 6). That's early in Atlanta and the restaurant was pretty much empty except for at the bar. Cool place, a lot of character. Service was very fast. My husband had a glass of Jack Hammer ($8) and I had an up Manhattan ($10). Both were good. I had the Seafood Penne ($15) and my husband had the Salmon Linguine ($14). Both were excellent. Parking is on-street but we were there before the rush, so no problem.

It had been several years since my last visit but still enjoyable! Limited, yet good, menu. Always enjoy the diverse clientele!
Quaint neighborhood gem!
I loved the vibe of this cute place. We had a lovely breakfast on a Sunday morning, and it was delicious! Do not miss the cheese grits! Also....walking around Cabbage Town is delightful!
