This was destined to be a bad experience from the start. The staff was completely disorganized, and had no rhythm. I’ve dined at the best Steakhouses in the United States. My family raised and slaughtered their own beef in Texas. The ribeye they brought me was offensive. Based on their prices I was completely insulted. The cut of beef (ribeye) they served me was in no way aged as advertised. It was a horribly thin cut of beef, and in no way should have been served at a steakhouse of this caliber. I won’t be back, and I highly recommend you don’t waste your time and money dining there.

Was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and how big it was inside. Everyone was lovely very friendly and welcoming. We sat in the patio and loads of u it’s keeping it cool which was lovely. The food we had was lovely and really well presented as were the lovely drinks. The baked meringue dessert was one of the best I’ve had. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary belatedly due to personal issues and they gave us a lovely card and some fizz which was lovely

My husband went to this restaurant over the July long weekend. We made a reservation. We arrived for our reservation, dressed up, the hostess went to seat us in the lounge area, next to people that looked like they had just come in from the pool, wearing shorts, etc. We asked to be seated in the dining room as we were out for a nice dinner and did not want to be sitting in the lounge area. We got some attitude, but we were moved. Once we were finally seated we did enjoy our dinner. Service at that point was good. I would recommend that that the front of house be more alert to their guests as the hostesses left a bad taste in my mouth and I probably will not return. Vegas has a lot of good steak houses to choose from.

Great steak, But….. The wife and I each had two Vesper martinis. The drinks alone were $128. Total ripoff. Won’t be going back.

I wanted to eat at Carversteak at Resorts World since I saw it got the Las Vegas Weekly's best steakhouse in Las Vegas. Know upfront the food is excellent, just the pricing is ridiculous like most other Las Vegas restaurants these days. Let's start off of the bacon onion bread. Probably the least desirable dish of the meal. It's served with a slice of soft butter, however bacon jam would have really made this dish pop. Plus they're charging you $5 for what should have been a complimentary bread appetizer. The wedge salad ($19) was excellent. My friend ordered the shrimp appetizer. Six jumbo shrimp for $28. On to the main course. They come out with a box of steak knives and let you choose your carving instrument specifically for your type of steak. My bone-in filet ($74) was outstanding. My friend ordered the wagyu rib cap ($88). Corkage fee is $50. They have a tableside martini cart. Which is kind of interesting, however the pricing is $30 - $35 (plus tax & tip) for watching someone shake a martini for you. Carversteak is an excellent dining experience, however plan to spend $300 - $400 (with drinks & wine by the glass) for two people.

After reading some reviews on here before I went, I nearly cancelled my booking but I’m so glad I didn’t as the food here is so good where my Lobster En Croute was simply one of the best tasting foods I’ve ever eaten. My wife also enjoyed her lovely, cooked to perfection steak where our sides of the mac and cheese, potato croquettes & asparagus were also fantastic. Yes it is on the more expensive side (can also see all the prices before you even book so no hidden surprises) but that’s what you get when serving such delicious food and the service we received from all the staff was also 5 star. So well worth it and would definitely recommend!!

I am definitely gonna rate this 5 stars! The food was so yummy, the staff was so friendly and nice, and one server even celebrated my early birthday with ice cream! The service was great! Tom, our main server, assisted us. This restaurant is great, so if 5 stars didn't have to be the maximum star rating, then I would give this restaurant 6 stars, 10 stars, or more, because I love this restaurant!

I wish every restaurant could be like Carversteak. The service, ambiance and food were all excellent. The server's recommendations were perfect for drinks, appetizers and mains. It could not have been better.

First visit to Resorts World to see Michael Buble's show, so decided to dine at Carver Steak. Great service, great menu, great food at reasonable prices. BUT, the acoustics in the room are miserable. Impossible to carry of a conversation because of the noise from the conversation of the diners, which means that the acoustics in the room were not well designed. You could not hear the background jazz music, but even worse, you had to lip-read to hear your partner. The walls and ceiling need to be redesigned to absorb the ambient sound. Won't be back.

We were in Vegas for the NFR and wanted to get a nice dinner after the perf. We are staying at Resorts World so Carversteak was the natural option. I made the reservation about a week prior. We arrived 7 minutes early which the hostess made sure to let us know. We were seated right next to the door which I thought was a little odd for a table with a reservation but we were still just excited for the food. Our waitress greeted us quickly and was friendly. We put in water and drink orders. She came back and we ordered an app, two steaks, sides, and sauces. We received our app before our drink and had to ask for bread plates to enjoy the brioche starter. Finally we got drinks! Our steaks came out once we had finished those drinks. They were dropped off quickly without the accompaniments. We also realized we didn’t have steak knives…. Which isn’t that the whole premise of this restaurant?! So we were sitting there with half of our meals, no drinks, and no steak knives. We were trying to eat our steaks with the butter knife we had leftover at that point but they weren’t quite tender enough. We were trying to get someone’s attention but they kept walking right by. Finally, our waitress came over and apologized. It took 8 more minutes to get knives, 11 more minutes to get drinks, and 14 more minutes to get the rest of our meals. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. There are so many much better options on the strip. It’s loud, the service is obviously lacking, and the food was nothing special. It’s really disappointing because we love Resorts World! RW has some of the friendliest staff in all of LV. To have Carver as their signature steakhouse is a huge letdown.

We were there to celebrate but.. 1. The chimichuri came 10 minutes after we got the stakes. 2. We asked to split the check, we got the splinted checks, we signed and suddenly just one of us charged for the check.. 3. The manager who spoke with me was really not polite. Instead of taking responsibility he said “ mistakes happen to everyone even you make mistakes”. I told him I don’t like the way he talk and we will not come to this restaurant again. So just FYI they can charge you whatever and whenever they want, even if you actually got the check and signed on it. So not professional!

Definitely worth visiting! Excellent meat, lobster and Brussels sprouts! Delicious cocktails and very good service!

booked for dinner in advance on the day we are checking into resorts world. was there at the earliest slot around 530pm so it was empty and quiet. but it starts to fill up quickly nearer to 7pm and did get a little noisier but atmosphere was still good. like the interior design overall. service wise was excellent with a special shoutout to Sophia. attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. able to answer most of my random questions about the food and made something special happen for us on for our honeymoon. food wise i would say pretty good overall, loved the garlic butter bread/bun thingy at the start, please try it! started with 2 apps, the cheesey beef slider and the brussels sprouts. we thought the brussels sprouts was outstanding and very tasty. the sliders were good as well, will delight you if u are a beef and cheese lover in general. had a cod and an aged steak for entrées. cod was beautifully cooked and seasoned. enjoyed it. steak was honestly just ok, we felt it wasn’t seasoned enough, i needed to add salt and pepper to it. perhaps u really need to add on the sauce which had to be ordered separately for a cost. dessert was a really rich and huge chocolate to share and we couldn’t even finish half after everything we ate. so was kindly packed in a to go box for us to bring back to our room. the glass of wine i had (mid range) was pretty smooth as well. overall good experience except a little hiccup on the bill at the end where i was charged 2 glasses of wine when i only had one. could have easily missed it if i didn’t just happen to decide to look thru’ the bill which i normally don’t. however Sophia quickly sorted it out which we appreciated. value for money wise i will think its just ok, for the prices they are charging, i think the review for the food does have to be strict and for me thats a 4 stars in my opinion. but 5 stars for service and atmosphere.

After searching for steakhouses in Las Vegas this was one of the best reviewed. Just happened to be in the hotel we were staying also. I cannot describe to you how nice the steak was and the sides we had complimented it so well. The ribeye i had just melted in your mouth the same way a wagyu steak does, like butter. We also had cocktails.. Cant remember what it was but this was also amazing. If i could afford too i would have eaten here every night.

Wonderful dinner to celebrate our anniversary while in Las Vegas. Our second time visiting this restaurant. Top notch service, atmosphere and food. I highly recommend the bone in filet. Also, there is nothing wrong with a table side martini cart! Thank you CarverSteak.

This was my first time at this steakhouse which I believe opened earlier this year inside the Resorts World casino. I was there as part of a 28-person private dinner. The menu was pre-selected and included Caesar salad, filet mignon, boneless chicken, salmon, green beans, sautéed spinach, roasted mushrooms, mac & cheese gratin and Pommes Purée (mashed potatoes). What I liked: - The ambiance of the restaurant had a crisp. modern look and feel with glass and visible wine bottles and spirits - The filet mignon was cooked perfectly - All the sides were better than average What I Did Not Like: - The dish of Caesar salad was a portion for one that had to be shared four ways. Come on man how expensive is lettuce! - They served the food family style which resulted in me getting only half of an 8-ounce filet. - The chicken was too dry, so I only ate one slice - I did not eat the salmon - The servers were allusive and slow brining drinks My Prime Minister of Beef rating is 7.3/10 Moos.

We were excited to try this restaurant before a concert! The service was good, and atmosphere nice, but as they are new they are working out a bunch of kinks in food quality and delivery. We had to send our steak back unfortunately as it was over cooked, they spilled my glass of wine, and my coffee came out all spilled on the saucer as well. Management made it right in the end, so we were grateful for that!

Took my daughter to Vegas for her 30th and we ate at Carversteak before going to see Carrie Underwood. We sat outside on the patio and Eric was very attentive as our server. We had the crab cake for an appetizer and we both got the filet as our entrees with the mac and cheese and potato croquettes for sides. They treated my daughter to dessert for her birthday. It was an enjoyable preshow dinner.

We felt adventurous and made reservations in a brand new restaurant. We had reservations and had no wait. The wait staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful with the menu. I had a delicious Manhattan while we tried some of their appetizers. We were specially impressed by the Waygu sliders and the beef tartare. We shared the tomahawk and some sides. After selecting which knife we would be using to tackle the task, we enjoyed very creamy mashed potatoes, incredible large crispy steak fries and Brussels sprouts with big tasty bacon pieces. The Tomahawk itself was cooked perfectly, it was juicy and tender. We were visiting for a conference, but next time I am in Vegas with my wife, this will be our first stop. Highly recommended! Quick note: When you search for the restaurant it is described as being in Resort World, but the entrance was closer to the entrance to the Conrad (same large hotel complex).

I had visited the restaurant in February. The service food and overall experience was fabulous. This time my experience was terrible. They first wanted to seat me way in the back of the restaurant which had a table with very very dim lighting and was a small booth with seats that didn't move. As a bigger gentleman I honestly was uncomfortable in such a booth. I told them I wanted to sit in the front of the restaurant in the comfortable swivel chairs. They were not willing to accommodate saying that all of their servers in this section just went home for the night. I specifically called and the host told me this would be no problem. After a few minutes, they agreed to sit me where I wanted and a bartender would come over to "serve me". The service was terrible. The ribe eye that I ordered was also terrible. It had a disgusting amount of gristle and was certainly not up.to the quality of last time. I then asked for the rib cap which turned out to be fabulous. When I asked to speak to the manager about the initial rib eye he came over and agreed and assured me the rib cap would be fabulous, and indeed it was. I also had the mashed potatoes which were silky smooth and very tasty. After I finished the rib cap the manager did not even have the decency or professionalism to check in and see how my new steak was. Nor did he offer any sort of compensation for the inconvenience. Completely unacceptable management for a restaurant of this quality. Last time I was also presented with a gentleman with a selection of knives, this time no selection just one knife. What a terrible experience this time. Very disappointed, as there are many, many steakhouse options competing for your hard earned dollars. I would think twice before coming here again. Management has to do a better job of making sure there customers are happy, especially when serving $85 dollar steaks. What a lousy experience this time around!!

We had a pleasant dinner with friends at Carversteak. The food was delicious, the drinks were average, the management and hostesses were also average. The servers were charming. The decor is attractive and it has a patio and some outdoor seating. It was not high energy. The location is in the new Resorts World Casino. The place to valet park is near the Conrad Hotel.

I visited Carversteak Las Vegas expecting a culinary adventure. I planned on going all in with my first experience having A5 Waygu beef with their Taste of Japan offering. Given the small size of the beef (4oz) I was thinking of really indulging in some of the appetizers and sides to round out the meal. I had reservations to make sure that the experience was smooth and without a wait. When I arrived an checked in out front, the hostess asked to seat me in the bar instead of the main dining room (I was dining solo, as I often do for such meals) I explained that I wanted a table because it was a special occasion. After several minutes of the hosts running back and forth and discussing among themselves, they said, "ok sir, right this way" and they sat me in the bar. I protested this. They then said that if I wanted a seat in the dining room I would have to wait some time regardless of my standing reservation. I begrudgingly accepted the seat they clearly wanted me in, in the bar area. Disappointed in the way I felt I had been treated, I decided this was not the restaurant to break my Waygu virginity. So I started with the crabcake, which was good, and had real jumbo lump crabmeat in it. Certainly not the best crabcake I've ever had, but not unacceptable. I had the filet. Medium rare, cooked perfectly and well seasoned probably the 4th best steak I've ever eaten. They have a way to go to crack into the best steak ever though. The service was what I have come to expect from a mid-grade steakhouse: good, but not shockingly exemplary. To be fair, they were training a new person. Princess Stephanie, keep working at it, you've got what it takes.

I had high hopes for my first visit to Carversteak, and I must say that my experience was a disaster. From the attitude of the check in personnel to the overall lack of ambiance, I would have a hard time recommending going there. Service was ridiculously bad, and on this particular Saturday, it was only about 60% full. It took several requests to get our waiter who seemed to be off somewhere on his break. Food quality was not as good at STK (Wynn) or Prime (Bellagio). The crabcake was largely made of filler materials, and tasted salty. The salads had way too much dressing, and the caviar cream puffs were served cold. Entrees were not better, and in fact we left much of the food on the plate. With all of the great steakhouses located on the Strip, I recommend going elsewhere if you want a good meal and service as you will not get that at Carversteak!

We had a reservation for 7:45. We arrived around 7:35. We were told they were running a little behind & we could sit at the bar while we waited & it should only be about 15 minutes. Instead we waited over 30 minutes for our table. Service then took a really long time with very few stops at our table. Our steaks were also swapped in how we both requested them to be cooked. We did not leave the restaurant until close to 10:00 due to how long everything took. The quality of the food was just average & did not meet the prices. We live near Memphis TN & the restaurants there would blow this location away with their quality on all levels.

First time here. Ate with 5 people for a business dinner. They gave us a great U shaped booth that was kind of off to the side, for quiet conversations. Service was good (not great). Starters were excellent. Steaks were some of the best on the strip if you are ok with the price. Wine list was extensive but difficult to find a bottle under $100 (though the sommelier helped). Desert was decent. I'd go back - but only on expense account.

It’s helmed by Michelin-trained Chef Daniel Ontiveros, known for premium cuts like Japanese A5 Wagyu and those house-aged steaks that made it famous. But it's not just about the meat—standouts include the Heirloom Beet & Burrata Salad, rich Short Rib, perfectly seared Scottish Salmon, and the indulgent Truffle Mac & Cheese. Private dining options like the Whiskey Room and Knife Shop offer exclusivity for groups, and yes—reservations are a very good idea. Highly recommended!

Carversteak is hands-down my favorite steakhouse in Las Vegas. I have eaten there many times, and the service is always solid. I usually get the bone in filet - perfection. The chicken is also simple, healthy and just what you want to order when you are looking for something light but still hearty (macros!). Their appetizers are by far the best in town - the tuna tartare, the steak tartare, the cheesesteak are all amazing - same with the sides - you can't miss. My favorite is the steak fries - not sure how they make them so delicious, but they are special. I've had business dinners here as well as date night just sitting at the bar. The cocktails and bartenders are also the best in town. The martini cart is very chic if you are showing off for clients. Also, if you get dropped off at the Conrad Valet, it's a super short walk right into the restaurant so you totally avoid the typical Vegas "hiking through the casino" in high heels problem!

Fine restaurant ... we were lucky to get a 5:30 reservation as that was the last available until 8 ... The service and food were both excellent, but we unfortunately had to skip dessert as we were late for a show!

Carversteak House is located in the Resorts World Casino complex. It has a large dining room, with a huge bar in the center with several TV screens. It also has a semi indoor/outdoor patio area. We had the crab legs and salad for appetizers, and both were enough to share. For the the main course, the rib eye was large and tasty. The french fries were also very good.

Service was the highlight. Server was very nice and attentive. The Somm was very knowledgeable and engaging. However, the food was a disappointment across the board. Being from California Foie Gras is a treat so we were really looking forward to it. The portion was small, although they are generally very small portions to begin with. I would say it was a 2-3 ounce portion. But the thing was, no sear. It was almost a quick bake. It was accompanied by sliced apples which doesn’t really do it for me, too large. I much prefer a dark berry compote. For entrees we had a rib cap and an Australian Wagyu strip steak. The rib cap was very fatty and stringy and my wife didn’t care for it. My Wagyu steak while cooked properly was very tight and not as tender or flavorful as other times I have ordered this cut. Atmosphere was nice. Better options available.

Vastly Over-Rated...Food was Good..Service was Iffy, atmosphere nothing special..the steaks were good,,,the lobster tail upgrade was pathetic...tiny, and dried out. We had to send th e wine back and were charged for it...soft drink orders required an a t of God to get....atmosphere is blah

Food was outstanding, but the prices are set to 11 on the insult scale, the service was a little erratic and our party of 4 was seated at the smallest 4-top ever. Let's start with erratic service...when your appetizers arrive before your waiter has taken your drink order, you have issues. They have smartly-dressed staff running in every direction, so most of the service was just fine after that snafu. The food was uniformly outstanding but the prices were insanely high, even for a Vegas hotel restaurant. And the wine list has tons of options but the average price is probably over $200/bottle. I think they had only 3-4 bottles under $100. So plan on dropping serious money on the booze as well. Dining here further supports my long-time feeling that The Capital Grille is the best overall steakhouse experience in Vegas when you combine food quality, service, view and wine options.

Visiting from Toronto, Canada. Hostess was very nice, found us a seat at the bar as we had no reservation. Amazing new place. Food & service by our bartender, Gabriel, was outstanding.

I had a business dinner here. Obviously before I reviewed his reputation and found few comments and several very bad ones, so I attended with poor expectations. Arriving, to my surprise, the place is nice, the service in general, hostess, bar and at the table, very good. Very very good food! The salad with blue cheese, the fresh shrimp as well as the shells, pâté and meat sincerely very good!!! But palms is for red wines, we ordered several bottles and all outstanding!!! Obviously the bad thing is that it is indeed expensive, quite a lot!!! I recommend it and of course I will come back!!!!!!

One of the BEST dinners we've had in Vegas and we've been to quite a few fine dining establishments. Service was out of this world and the food was superb. Would come back again.

I sat at the bar and service was dreadful. The fellow serving the dining room was covering my area of the bar. He is working hard - though his attentiveness to the clients at the bar was downright abysmal. Get TOAST at this place —-

If you are seated by the front door, save yourself $$$… walk out. What a poor design for a high end steakhouse. If there was a barrier or a divider, that’d help. Felt like we were in a low end diner. Food was really good but the constant door opening totally diminished the experience.

Setting and ambience was good. Service was slow. Crab cake appetizer was good. All 3 steaks were ordered medium rare. 1 steak was medium to medium well and was sent back. Crockett potato side was bland. Caesar salad was bland. Brussels sprouts were good. Overall, group wouldn’t come back based upon value and quality of food.

Carver steak was booked for my boyfriend's birthday. And we were looking forward to it. My review is mixed. I felt like my expectation, based on reviews and youtube vids was higher than what was provided. 1. Reservation was for 7:30. We arrived at the front desk at 7:25 and were told our table is not ready and they are running behind. The two hostesses at the desk really looked lost. One hostesses referred to me as 'MRS (boyfriends last name). A hostess should never assume who the person is. This is hostessing 101. We were not told how long the delay would be, and There is no seating outside to sit and wait. You are standing staring at two frazzled hostesses and quite boring walls, at the end of a hall. Oh, and an escalator. The outside of Carversteak is very underwhelming. After waiting for about 20 mins, with still no update on our table, we decided to go inside and wait at the bar. From the pictures on line and what walk into, it is underwhelming. The bar layout is tight and just seemed - frazzled. Like chaos. And the bathrooms are right there by the bar - not somewhere I would want to eat a 70$ steak. We managed to get a seat at the bar for a drink before dinner. ROBERT, the bartender was FANTASTIC. He made me a Singapore Sling - which was beautifully presented. And he was charming. I managed to drink my whole drink before someone told us our table was ready - probably a 45 minute wait (but no update in-between about the length of the delay). We were then seated. Now, yet again, what we have viewed and researched on line is NOT where we were seated. We were seated in an extended covered -patio like area, that were equipped with portable heaters you would see on a patio in Margaritaville. The wind gust was insane this night (March 20 2022), so all the panels shook. The décor in here, completely underwhelming. Our server was Alec - he was fantastic and no complaints and our sommelier was Matt, also fantastic. Our food came in a timely fashion, but not rushed and it was all delicious. So at this point, you start to forget about the initial experience and where you are seated, because the food is so good. Would I eat here again? Probably. But I would not allow myself to be seated where I was previously, and I would probably be more forthcoming with the hostesses. And I really feel they need some more training. It was quite disturbing initially.

My husband and I dined at Carversteak to celebrate our anniversary. It was amazing! We were 20 minutes early for our reservation but were seated right away. The service was great. We ordered Caesar salad, filet, au gratin potatoes, and cheesecake. The sides were big enough to share. The steak was cooked to perfection and very tender. They even brought out a little celebratory desert.

Ordered the Petite Plateau seafood platter as starter. Portion is good for 2. You can select the items to be served hot or cold. Lobster and oysters are good. For main course we selected the domestic Wagyu rib cap and bone-in rib eye. Both are excellent cut and perfectly served. Service is fast and friendly.

Disappointed with this restaurant. The reservation system was great and we were sat right away. Went on a Friday night during NFR, busy but plenty of open tables. The hostesses were incredibly nice. We sat on the “patio” which was a nice temperature until the overhead heatlamps kick on every 10 minutes and melt you. We ordered waters and drinks, which took 20 minutes. Our waiter came over to get our food order before we got drinks. We got two steaks, a filet and a ribeye, and the scallops with potato purée and sprouts. The bread arrived pretty quick and was good. About 20 minutes later they came by with the knife box for us to pick our knives, which is a big deal there. We thought that meant our meals were coming. We were wrong… 40 minutes later our dinner arrived. During this time our drinks were empty half of the time. I really don’t think we would have minded the wait if our drinks were full. The scallops were delicious as were the sides. The filet was a little over cooked but the ribeye was good. The side of bernaise sauce was separated. They offered dessert but we were worried about how long it would take. There’s definitely better steakhouses on the strip.

The service was 5 star, the recommendations were spot on,great ambience, the young lady who waited on us enjoyed her job and it showed,

I met up with 2 buddies in Vegas. Stayed at RW and heard good things about Carversteak. The Tomahawk ribeye is the best choice on the menu. Pricey...but it feeds 3-4 people. 2 entrees and 2 apps and a salad is plenty of food. Our other split entree was the whole lobster........and it did not disappoint. It was exquisite with its baked bread topping too. The other waitress suggestion was superb as well. The Waygu beef cheesesteak appetizers. OMG!! What a great taste sensation. Overall.....not a cheap eat place. $800 for 3 with the wine. But WELL worth it!!

This restaurant fires on all cylinders: great décor, table spacing, lighting, food and service. We were skeptical at first as there was a long line for our early 5pm reservation. But it moves fast, and we were seated within a few minutes. We had a booth that was just wonderful. There is excellent spacing between the tables, so you don’t hear your neighbor’s conversation. The dried flower arrangements throughout are gorgeous. But wish they could have different artwork than the same themed picture on each wall. Lighting is perfect, as was service. Started by sharing the Yellowtail Sashimi that was amazing. We had the wagu ribcap steak that was perfectly done and delicious. Ditto for the Caesar and crispy brussel sprouts. Only complaint was the music was too loud for us. Just an excellent restaurant to enjoy.

This review is not about the food but the seating area. (Food and service good as one would expect with the prices charged) We were there in June 2023 and denied the main dining room and placed in an outer area. The continuously opening main door gave a wind tunnel experience which was not conducive to the enjoyment of high end dining and wines. Fast forward to tonight (22nd Nov. 2023). I had booked our table for two, four weeks ago, but when we arrived earlier this evening, we were ushered to the same table in the outer area! Only when I remonstrated with a member of staff were we given a table in the main dining area. We are frequent visitors to Vegas, not so much for the gambling, but for the fine dining. We are unlikely to visit Carversteak again, as we are reluctant to go through the same procedure where it seems one is offered the outer seating area, and only when one complains, is one given access to the holy inner sanctum. I hope this review is helpful for future guests.

Was in town during F1 weekend and looking forward to trying a new steakhouse. I have a few favorites in town and decided to try something new with some couples. The ambiance was great but everything else was a major let down. The service was poor and the restaurant was only half filled while we were there. It was like pulling teeth trying to get another drink. The food was also a let down. I am a steak enthusiast and I wouldn't even rate the steaks we ordered average. They were hard to eat and didnt taste very fresh if that makes sense. We also ordered a few app that were just ok. For the price even if it was half off I still would not come back.

My wife and I visited this restaurant to celebrate a birthday whilst staying at Resorts World Casino. We’d heard good reviews and were not disappointed. Although the restaurant was quite dark, that didn’t spoil the overall experience. The food was amazing, really great tasting steaks and huge portions. We shared steak fries and onion rings and there was more than we needed. The French Onion Soup was also really tasty. The service was fantastic, the staff were very attentive and went out of their way to make the experience special. I’d highly recommend this restaurant, having been to numerous steak restaurants in Vegas, for flavour, this place beats them all.

Carversteak is my new favorite place in Vegas to enjoy a grest steak. The food is exceptional as well as the service. We were in town for the opening week of March Madness. We ate there three times. I will go there any time I am in town.

We had a business dinner here the last day of January and overall it was meh, except for the mini cheesesteak sliders appetizer which were buttery bites of extraordinary deliciousness. But the filet, which was presented by itself on an enormous plate was very ordinary and boring and actually barely even warm. The potato finger-things that look like cheese sticks were quite good, however. Our waiter was quite arrogant and spoke very loudly, was very slow with our drinks, and insisted we get appetizers because our steaks were going to take 45 minutes to prepare because the kitchen was "very backed up." That turned out not to be true and it appeared to us as though these steaks might have been prepared that afternoon and then placed under a heat lamp for a few seconds. The drinks that took so long to bring were also frightfully expensive. I will say that the bartender we had before dinner was very, very friendly and efficient.

Our experience at Carversteak was very underwhelming versus our expectations. We originally heard about the restaurant from one of the bartenders at the center bar in the main casino; he was raving about a birthday dinner he attended with his family. We were celebrating a birthday within our party of 4 and had planned on eating at Bacchanal but were swayed by the glowing recommendation and made a reservation. We arrived about 30 minutes late to our reservation due to the sandstorm and its effect on Ubers/Lyfts; we did our best to keep the restaurant apprised of our tardiness. Prior to our arrival we had been in contact with the restaurant to inquire about having a custom 'picture' martini made for the individual in our party that was celebrating their birthday. The restaurant staff was very helpful in getting the initial reservation as well as getting us setup to get the custom drink made, which was really appreciated. Sadly, the issues that we had were with the food and the table service. My girlfriend ordered the 8oz filet well done and requested that it be butterflied. The steak came out and literally looked like shoe leather and was rubbery and almost impossible to cut (I think that we actually made a video of trying to cut the steak since it was so far overcooked). We informed the waiter and he admitted that the steak was overcooked but said that the kitchen was closed and they would not be able to make her another one. Why close the kitchen when you still have guests eating and haven't checked whether or not the food was cooked correctly, especially when the complaint was made almost immediately after the steak was delivered? The steak was taken off of the bill, but that left my girlfriend without a meal and subsisting on sides. The second issue that we had with the food was an addition of 1/2 lb. of crab oscar to one of the meals. One, small, crab leg was all that was provided for the additional $36 and it was nowhere near 1/2lb. We brought this up to the waiter as well and he checked with the kitchen and assured us that it had been weighed. It was pretty obvious at this point that the kitchen had pushed out whatever they had available and we were stuck with whatever we received. My girlfriend and I are both Diamond Hilton members and lifetime elite members at Marriott and have traveled extensively both personally and professionally, so we know what to expect from fine dining establishments. Frankly, at this price point, the meal and table service were unacceptable.

Exceptional food, cocktails and service in a beautiful and comfortable mid-century modern setting. Great bar and lounge. Will try one of the terrace spaces with Strip view next time.

I flew in for dinner at Carversteak to sample food, service and accessibility for a future event. Perhaps this influenced the wonderful treatment I received, but I rather think not, it was all very genuine. Service was outstanding by all concerned, attentive without being obtrusive. I wanted to try options that I could summarily recommend that might not be my personal choices for a group dinner that would follow. I have a hard time passing on oysters, so only ordered a half dozen for sampling purposes, small bluepoints, but very tasty. The cheese steak bites were pretty addictive and will be a hit for our group. I ordered the black cod, I know ordering a fish in a steakhouse is often dicey. It was cooked perfectly with a wonderful glaze. Impressive wine list and sommelier Marcy is a gem. So many options in Vegas, this one is a winner.

We visited at 5pm on a Thursday. Couldn’t fault this restaurant. Superb from start to finish. Nina our server was wonderful. You can often get great service in places, but you understand the only reason the staff are being pleasant is because they are being paid to be pleasant! Nina was a lovely lady who seemed to genuinely care you were happy and having a nice meal. In fact, all the staff were top class. Food was superb. A little USP here is they let you select your own steak knife by weight from a small wooden box, very neat. Top tip - don’t order too many sides as each side is designed for two people. Would definitely eat here again when in Vegas.

There are several fine dining experiences at Resorts World and Carversteak was very good and it compares to most other fine dining steak houses. The Wedge salad was good and the onion ring was a nice touch. We both had filet's and they were prepared perfectly; the crispy brussels sprouts had great flavor with a hint of spice, but needed more bacon. Nice, extensive wine list.

Went to Carversteak to obviously have a steak. I can only compare this boneless ribeye to Cut and Jean Georges. This boneless riveye beats these two heavy hitters in the steak game. Carversteak's boneless ribeye was huge and the best tasting steak I have ever had. The steak was so juicy and every bite was more delicious than the next. Finally, a steak house worth ny hard earned dollars. The dining experience includes a gentleman who comes to the table offering a selection of knives for you to choose from. I had the Damascus knife as per the gentleman's recommendation. Their chocolate cake dessert was disappointing however, and tasted as if they defrosted a chocolate cake. I am very excited to return and have the rib cap. I should also mention that the onion rings side and the parmesan fries were very disappointing. The parmesan fries were undercooked and the onion rings were not very tasty and their dipping sauce was even worse. Steak wise no one beats them with regard to extraordinary taste. However, their sides are simply bad.

Carversteak is my favorite steakhouse in Vegas. There’s an outdoor patio and the bar area is quaint and relaxing. Jonathan made our evening so special and Natalie our server gave us the best service so attentive and pleasant to talk to. The steaks are delicious and cooked to perfection. The brussel sprouts are amazing!! We will definitely be back when in Vegas! Thank you Carversteak for a wonderful evening.

This spot is a good high-end steakhouse. Definitely has a very classy layout and very good vibe going on. Food was phenomenal ( especially their steaks) and service was great!

A huge let down as we have been following the restaurant on social media since it's opening and have been looking forward to dining here when we flew over on holiday. We arrived and were seated in the corner of the bar area which we didn't like as the chairs were low and the restaurant area seemed more aesthetic. After we asked to move we were, let's say harassed to order our wine and meals very quickly The starters came out within minutes and the mains were bought out as soon as the starter plates were taken So within 1 hour we had a two course meal each, wine and bottles of water and given the bill of $660 The acoustics make it very loud and it definitely does not have a vegas steak house feel to it. That money would of been better spent elsewhere in our final evening here in vegas.

Lovely establishment food was good but service not so good. I ordered sparkling water for myself but everyone else said flat, the server started full everyone’s glass with sparkling water which would be no big deal to switch out but she charged us $11 per bottle x2 and I was the only who wanted it. They never came around to ask for refills for our regular drinks. Supposed to pick out your knife with your steak. Server did this as an after thought when the steaks came out. Overall food was good but too many people and not too much attention to details.

I hosted groups at Carversteak for the 4th and 5th times this week. The place never disappoints! Large seafood tower, tomahawk, and two Australian wagyu with some sides is more than enough for 8. The proprietary Maker's Mark was delicious. I will be back.

What a fabulous meal we had here on our last night on holiday in Vegas. We chose the prefix menu. This menu had limited choice but choices were some of our favourites. As this was prefix I expected slightly smaller portions but smaller they were not. I had the jumbo shrimp cocktail and it was spectacular. 6 delicious sweet large shrimps with all the accompanying dressings. Husband had the lobster bisque which was not the best he's tried but was good. Cream would've taken it to the next level of deliciousness. We were given a choice of steak knives to choose from a lovely set for our filet mignon main course and had butter mash and asparagus as accompaniments along with a pepper sauce which were all delicious. Our desert was cookies - wow 3 huge cookie monsters were served warm. What a fab treat. As it was our last night the lovely waitress treated us to these. Triple choc, pineapple pavlova and oatmeal and raisin. We had to take one to go as we were absolutely stuffed. We stuck with iced water as had to catch a very early morning flight next day and the water was ice cold and filled promptly each time we sipped. Defo recommend this place and we will be back. Server was lovely and very attentive, thankyou.

Carversteak is a classy steakhouse which gives its guests wonderful experience that goes beyond what is expected from a typical high-class steakhouse. Sean Christie, the CEO of Carver Road Capital, has created such a remarkable steakhouse by mobilizing his impressive past experiences as a top executive at MGM Resorts International and the Wynn Resorts. When we visited Carversteak, CEO Sean Christie was walking around his impressive 14,500-square-foot restaurant, personally overseeing the operation of the restaurant. The restaurant was filled with guests in the main dining areas, bars, and terraces. We ordered Domestic Wagyu Tomahawk, Lobster En Croute, and Black Cod as our main entrees, and Caviar Poppers and Seared Crab Cake as appetizers. For drinks, we had wine and the cocktail with intriguing name, “Mr. Lee Manhattan”, which seemed to be getting attention from some guests. All the foods and the cocktail tasted excellent. The tender, juicy and flavorful Tomahawk was superb. The service by the servers were excellent as well. We highly recommend Carversteak for its delicious foods as well as memorable experience.

I order a bone in filet rear and was median well, it does make a difference on juice and tenderness, so if the cooker doesn't know the cook terms, cannot call a fine dinning.

Really a nice place , decided to go back again . And that;s when i discovered overcharges . I will never return ! I thought i could trust the Hilton brand . When i took my issue to hotel management it was as if they did not even have to explain . I would have thought they would be much more humble when given proof of their error .

We booked a private event during Super Bowl weekend with cocktails on the terrace & dinner in a private room. They did a great job with service and all of the food was delicious. We enjoyed the seafood tower, tomahawk steak, miso cod, filets and sides. Conveniently located near the entrance of the Conrad & Crockford Hotel with easy access to enter & exit.

Great food, great service. We were seated on the porch - II believe it may have had to do with my shoes that night. There was a sign at the entrance, anyone wearing "flip flops" will be seated on the porch. But hey, they were fancy sandals - but had no backs. The steaks were absolutely amazing - our group of five had quite the variety. We would definitely go back! The airport is nearby so the planes were overhead every five minutes. (Wasn't a bother to us, but just a heads up)

I really enjoyed this steakhouse. The service was a bit slow, but the ambience is great. It's a good mix of old school buttoned up steakhouse and new, more vibrant bar. Steak and side fries were some of the best I've ever had.

We sat at the bar. We ordered a filet and the black cod. Sides were mashed potato’s and fried cauliflower. It was all outstanding. Best steak ever and best fish dish ever. Our bartender was great and suggested a white wine which was delicious. Service was fast. No doubt we will return on our next trip to Vegas.

Great vibe at the Resort World . I was greeted by the GM Carlo and was seated at the bar . Rocky makes a great Manhattan Renaldo and the rest of the staff were incredible. I had the Salmon and Broccolini delicious . If you are ever in Vegas I highly recommend visiting this top notch restaurant and staff. Ray Knows Vegas

The service was excellent. We had a large group of about 19 of us. We had a private room. The appetizers were the best part of the meal. The steaks were a little disappointing. Way too much pepper or rub on it. It took away from the taste odd the steak. The Brussels were very good. Better than places. Over priced and not worth it

My friend and I went here and decided to order any darn thing we wanted. i got the big lobster. It was amazing! We also ordered steak, crab cake, mushrooms and cream brute. It was all good but my friends steak was overcooked.

Terry was the best bartender I have ever encountered. He made it a great time, watching him take care of his customers. A true pro! Steak was very good also. Beauty dining room.

Food & service was amazing. We got the tomahawk as my partner has wanted to try one for ages! It was way too much meat for the two of us but we had a pretty good go! Service was great everyone was really friendly. My wine was amazing i asked the server for her advice and boy did it pay off. Lovely experience overall

Not worth it! Food is only good. Not great. Reservations not honored. Gave away our table. Kept us waiting for twenty minutes. We got a round table as requested but location ( inside) was freezing. Staff said our table is known to be cold but no extra heaters or blankets were available. So they knew there was an issue but had no solutions Server was pleasant but took forever to come around. Drinks took a long time . Long pause between courses. Hamachi was good. Pork belly and steak tartare were lacking. The fillet mignon was perfectly delicious. American wagu and strip loin better than the ribeye which was over cooked. Black cod was tasty. Sides were fine. We enjoyed many of the other Vegas venues much more. And for sure better steak houses

The steak was very, very good. We had the rib-eye and Wagyu rib cap which were cooked to absolute perfection. They nailed it A couple of the other dishes we ordered were a little disappointing for a restaurant at this price point. The pork belly starter was dry and tough. The twice baked potato skin was so tough it was hard to cut through. The roasted bone marrow and Wagyu cheesesteak bites were great though. The service was impeccable and we were made to feel very welcome. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back here for steak but I think it’s very much a case of working out which menu items to avoid by reading other reviews.
Carversteak
Carversteak has delicious steak that is well prepared and flavorful. I have been impressed with all of the meals that I have had from here. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you have everything that you need
